Arrow is fantastic. I had a drainage issue that others had overlooked that was causing really unpleasant odors. Arrow sent out a tech who quickly diagnosed the problem, and then John came out a few days later to inspect and formulate a plan of attack, which involved some creative problem solving. I really appreciated all of the thoughtful planning. I then received a very reasonable quote, given that it was a major project that would take an entire day.

Bruce then arrived on the project day and knocked it out of the park. He did excellent work and kept me informed throughout the process. Really nice guy and great plumber.
A few days later, John called me to check in to make sure everything was working okay. And then I got an invoice that matched the quote.

Overall I could not be more pleased. Honest, professional work is hard to come by these days, and these folks delivered it. Arrow will be my plumber going forward and I would be more than happy to recommend them to others in the Libertyville area.

This is our second winter in our home, and we inherited Arrow from the previous owners to do our annual back-flow inspections. Yesterday was the first occasion we had to call them for anything else: the thaw revealed what turned out to be three pipe bursts over our garage, causing water damage and pooling over three floors. Jerrod and Jeff were just incredible from start to finish. I didn't have much presence of mind in the chaos but when my wife called them, Jeff advised that if I could get my car out safely then I should do so, and that probably spared me from a *second* insurance claim lol. He spoke with me and confirmed I had in fact successfully turned off the mains (I dunno-- new house, never been through this before, I'm lucky I got it done :-). They somehow managed to get out here in probably 15 minutes after the call. Jerrod worked quite hard but quickly and expertly, and got three bursts identified and repaired in just a couple of hours. I didn't have to worry about getting my wife and son into a hotel, or leaving the house without flowing water and everything repaired to good order. Simply an incredible performance in the midst of real crisis. After a good night's sleep in a functional home, now I can tend to all of the claims and restorations :-

From start to finish, outstanding service! Kali, in the office, handled our scheduling professionally.  Alex, our plumber, did a fantastic job addressing our plumbing issues.  He arrived prepared and worked efficiently with obvious expertise. Plus, he was a super nice man.

Oh wow, I just saw their snarky response again - they couldn't resist. They had to attempt to undermine my honest review by judging and denigrating my past reviews? Really is this the type of customer service you'd expect from a professional company? If you look at my original review, it was well balanced and no joke, I still tipped the plumber despite their bait and switch quote practices. They really turned a neutral experience into something entirely negative.

For what it's worth, you can see my other reviews skew 4/5s, except yes most recently I did move and had a handful of utterly terrible experiences with companies like Arrow Plumbing but I also call out the ones who were great like Cook's Heating. This is classic deflection behavior by blaming the victim. Really shows you what kind of people work at Arrow and their practices, which speak for themselves here.

I've since used HT Strenger twice and they are much better!

On October 2nd we had Arrow Plumbing replace a hot water heater at our business and they did a fantastic job. We wrote a review for that.
As luck would have it, a water leak developed yesterday in our home bathroom in our shower. We called them at 6:30am and left a message. Arrow Plumbing called us back at 7:05am and we told them about our water leak issue. They sent Marc out and he arrived at 7:45am!
Marc professionally corrected our water leak issue that same morning!
Arrow Plumbing proved for the second time in 3 weeks that they are THE BEST plumbing company around. Why would we go anywhere else?

We needed two toilets replaced and Bruce was out here quickly and even advised us we didn't need to replace one of them, he fixed it and wow, when does a plumber ever save you money?   Thanks Bruce and Arrow!  We'll be back!!!

Matt and Mike just left, having done a few minor repairs on Friday, and taking a look at my corroded water heater. They were out Monday with a new (under warranty) one and were expedient and very professional. Great team and company to work with!

Called Arrow Plumbing to unclog our kitchen garbage disposal and repair a toilet that wouldn't properly fill. Marc and Austin were on time, neat, friendly and professional. They completed both jobs in under an hour, which included replacing the entire valve assembly in the toilet. I especially like that Arrow employs Veterans like Austin, who is former Navy. As a former Army Captain, we swapped stories about chow and life aboard ships. These guys are the best and we'll use them for any future plumbing repairs.

Wow, this place is a local gem! Arrow is amazing!

Some back story for our ordeal:
We waited a week for a different company to come in and install a new water heater (they shall remain nameless but they did come as a service bundle via a big box home improvement retail chain - financing being the key selling point originally)... before ever stepping into the house, these folks called a few times changing their quote, coming up with additional charges, adding more labor to the estimate, coming up with additional stuff we need... just abysmal... 30 min prior installation, they called again adding yet another mandatory charge to the quote, going way over board from where we were few days earlier, like DOUBLE the cost - all that without ever stepping into the house to asses the situation...

long story short, we fired them on the spot and via our friends kind recommendation, we called Arrow.

Jared, engineer from Arrow showed to the exact second on time, pricing was accurate and never changed beyond our initial conversation for quote and work was done flawlessly. What a great company, I'm so speechless here... ALSO - Not only is the heater unit a better brand with more warranty then the X unit offered by X vendor whom we chose not to work with, but labor guarantees and quality clearly surpassed the X company as well. Jared was clear about what needs to get done, what the costs and time for that is and we never were subjected to the kind of shady, made up parts/costs treatment we were subjected to by the other vendor (giant, national home improvement retailer chain).

Folks, if you need a plumber whom you can trust, who serves your community and has a reputation for quality, honesty and diligence - call Arrow. Seriously,
they're a gem - businesses like this are rare. Now days everyone just wants to make a quick buck and run, there's little ethics out there but not this company... Arrow gets the job done and you won't be taken advantage of.

Always do your research. We knew we might be in for a wild ride after reviewing the other company that tried to pull a fast one on us... we decided to give them a shot because both of convenience and clout that a national recognized business has their expertise, and that maybe a few bad reviews is normal... well it ain't. Do your research and if the reviews are bad, sam experience follows: BAD.

Arrows has great reviews and I only wish I found them sooner... boiling water in pasta pots for a week sucked.

They were great helping us out with repairs.  Offered great advice but never went for a hard sell on anything.  Quality work, friendly service and reasonable price

Happy with their service! They replaced our old water heater and were punctual, friendly, and efficient. The folks at the office are super friendly and helpful, and give you lots of info even you don't immediately order service (I asked a few questions months ago, got the info, but held off on replacing for a few months).

Guys who came in explained any changes, finished within a few hours, and were generally respectful/careful about wearing their masks. They cleaned up after themselves -- the room was probably cleaner after they left than when they got there!

A very telling moment: they accidentally scratched a handrail while moving the old water heater, and they told me about it. I didn't care about the scratch, but I think a lot of installers would have just ignored it and not mentioned it. It showed a level of honesty that I really appreciated.

Called with a problem. Janet said she would try and gat someone out today if not then tomorrow   Called me back a half hour later and said plumber was on the way. Bruce showed up and took care of my problem. Thanks again.

I had great experience from start to end.  They responded to my call and promptly scheduled.  The technician, Bruce, was fantastic.  He took the time to address my questions, performed quality work with excellent service.

Great tech came out. Patiently explained what needed service, parts to be ordered and how things are priced out.

Good service, fairly priced. The process was less complicated than working with my last plumber.

I did not utilize their services, because it wasn't needed, but was very happy with the telephone service I received.  I called because I thought that I had a water main leak. I'm disappointed that I don't remember the name of the nice male who called me back, but he was very helpful. He took the time out to ask me questions, trouble shoot with me, and help me to determine that no assistance was needed at all. If I have plumbing needs in the future, I will definitely call Arrow Plumbing.

Bruce came out to replace my garbage disposal and check out a toilet that has had  issues over the past year. He clearly explained the differences in disposals of differing prices and I am very happy with the mid priced disposal we chose. Bruce worked quickly and neatly. He was able to make my toilet workings like new for a reasonable price. He did great work, was very professional and had the highest standards for being safe during Covid.

Arrow Plumbing provides outstanding services. I found them through Yelp, and we are delighted with the high standards of their work. Marc was superb and thorough, as he: reset and resealed two toilets; installed two, new shower heads and a curved shower curtain rod; then fixed the hot water in our kitchen sink. Also, he replaced our water expansion tank on the water heater. I've never had a plumber explain the repair work so clearly.

In fact, Plumber Marc asked about our home inspection report to ensure he took care of all of our plumbing repairs. He worked for four hours throughout our new home, and the bill was very reasonable. My husband and I will call Arrow Plumbing again for future projects, such as replacing the water heater. I highly recommend Arrow Plumbing. They are amazing.

I needed some quick help.  I called arrow plumbing told them my problem and they told me they had the perfect person for the job.  They arrived on time and were quick.  I was impressed with the responsiveness of this company.

I was a little disappointed with the the experience. I had an appointment set up in the afternoon, and I scheduled my work around it because my husband isn't as flexible as I am with his job. They showed up almost 2 hours early (in the morning) without getting a response that anyone was home.  It was also pretty pricey, they were only here for an hour, was $50 for parts and over $200 for labor. I should have asked for a quote prior. I will not use use again.

Installed a new kitchen faucet, and Arrow did a solid job installing it. They completed the job within an hour and the price was very reasonable. They got here within the time range they initially scheduled, and called us when they were close. Highly recommend them!

Fast response! Our plumber was very interested in restoring a leaking shower valve instead of  replacing it. The valve was made by a company no longer in business and the company has been bought and sold several times. Nevertheless, Arrow researched this fixture, found a part and installed it. I appreciate that.  The plumber wore a face mask at all times while in my home.

We called Arrow to fix an outdoor spigot. They sent Alex out within 48 hours. He was on time, and he had a great attitude. Quality of work was excellent. I highly recommend them!

We've used Arrow for several projects in our home. Their quality of work is top notch--I've used other plumbers in the area, and none have been as clean and professional as Arrow.

Sump pump went out late Sunday night. Called office Monday morning at 7:00 a.m. Spoke with Janet who was pleasant and understanding Fit us in when the next plumber was available, Matt arrived at 11:45 a.m. Courteous, knowledgeable and efficient worker. We had bought the wrong type of garbage disposal. Alex worked on replacing the bathroom faucet while my husband took a ten minute trip to the neighboring town to get a new garbage disposal. I received excellent service at a competitive price.

Just have to put in a shout out for Bruce who is the Sherlock Holmes of the plumbing world.  Not only did he correctly identify a slow leak that eluded every other plumber we called but this time found the mystery culprit for continuing problems with our kitchen faucet and slow running hot water.  It wasn't Colonel Mustard in the library with a letter opener but rather the dip tube in the water heater.  I admit skepticism at first but know better than to doubt Bruce when he's on the trail of a plumbing mystery.  Sure enough, our heating guy came out and confirmed that he was absolutely correct.  Not happy about having to replace the water heater but filled with admiration for Bruce's super powers.  This is just another reason why Arrow is my go-to for all things wet and wonderful.  Love this business!

We couldn't have been more pleased with our recent service from Arrow Plumbing.  We needed to have two outdoor leaking spigots replaced, a leaking shower cartridge replaced, and a new faucet installed.  Joseph showed up right on time, was extremely pleasant and professional, and worked hard the entire time he was here.  He also took the time to explain what he needed to do and review the job when he was done.  He had all the materials needed on his truck and the pricing was very fair.  I highly recommend Arrow and Joseph!

This was our first time using Arrow Plumbing and we were very satisfied. We purchased a home from an over zealous do-it-yourselfer who caused more harm than good.
Bruce was very thorough, explained everything to us, and completed more work than we originally requested without pressing for time.
The cost was on par with what we expected and it was well worth it.

So happy with the service we received when faced with an degraded old seal between the tank and toilet bowl. originally said they could arrive the next day, but when the opportunity arose to be there same day, they revised the appointment. I was so thankful. The problem was immediately diagnosed. You should definitely give them the opportunity to help you.

Had water backing up due to a blockage in the main line.  Joseph came out and diagnosed and resolved the issue promptly.  They charge by the hour but in no way did they milk the clock and worked hard throughout the time.  I had called on Roto Rooter previously which was a huge mistake as they only cleared out the first five feet of piping.  Joseph was able to run close to 100' of line through my sewer to my sewer main and did it cheaper than Roto Rooter did for 5'.

Arrow came out for a failed sump pump and did a great job in replacing the pump.  They sent a plumber out when scheduled and he arrived on time, did a great job of explaining the issue and completing the work.

Our water heater officially died on Christmas day - who showers on Christmas anyway? I called Arrow Plumbing the next day. Spoke with Janet who was friendly and knowledgeable and had everything scheduled for the following day at 9 AM. Matt showed up on time with all the right parts and replaced our water heater within a few hours. The best part was no surprises, which is really all I wanted. And it was at a great price. No hassles. Delivered as promised. All good. No need to call anyone else.

Expensive and slow! I had an initial negative experience. The handle fell off my sink faucet, and I unfortunately did not get a quote at diagnosis of the problem from Arrow, which I had never used. After diagnosing the problem and ordering the part (a small disk to hold on the faucet), the plumber returned and spent 45 minutes (@ a labor cost of $136) installing it because it did not fit. He did not consult with me about it not fitting. I doubt the right part was ordered because he had to shave it down to fit and the handle is tight and somewhat hard to move. He said it was the right part. I politely asked the office to reduce the price. The woman on the phone said she would call me back after talking to the plumber. Instead, they erroneously sent a bill for the full price, which was upsetting. However, she did call me the next day (after my review posted) to say they wanted my satisfaction and would take 30 minutes of labor off the price, which I agreed to. They also are sending a different plumber to try to make the faucet less tight, at no charge to me. So they do try to address complaints and work with the customer, which is rare today. If you use this company, I recommend you get an estimate, but they do charge by time and materials.

Arrow Plumbing saved the day! There is nothing as horrible as a clogged toilet and googling a DIY method can make it worse. It was an absolute nightmare for me. When I realized that I can't handle it myself and need to call in an expert, I searched online. The first few calls I made only added to my stress. Some services are too expensive and others are too busy to come right away. When I called Arrow Plumbing and spoke to them, I was immediately relieved. They were helpful and very reassuring​ and promised to send someone asap. I got a call from the technician soon, and he said he was already on his way.
He is an expert, (I called him a wizard!) and got the toilet fixed in a jiffy! He also took his time to test and check that everything is ok and gave some helpful tips too. Most importantly, it was his attitude that helped. He was so jovial and helpful that I immediately felt stress-free​. They offer great service and are very affordable. I recommend Arrow Plumbing 100%.

Had Arrow come out and install a new water heater.  Initial call was very pleasant and with someone that was very knowledgeable.  First time using Arrow(based on the high Yelp ratings) and was very pleased.   Price was significantly lower than another place that I had been using for years.   Matt did a good job looking at the situation, determined the best size unit to fit the available space and did a really nice job.  Matt was very cordial and answered all my questions.  Discussed a few more smaller jobs which I will take care of soon with Arrow.  Cleaned up the job site very nicely.  Very pleased.

After having a very old, very large pipe crack in my basement, and not being able to run water for very long before water sprayed everywhere we decided to call a plumber.  We started with the absolute garbage company Roto Rooter.  These clowns came out, and found that we had a abundance of roots in our outgoing pipe causing a backup.  They then gave my wife some BS about how they need to put a clean out in our front yard for $5600 because they couldn't fit the correct removal tool into our pipe.  And we wouldnt be able to use ANY water in the house until this was done.  I talked to Bozo on the phone and knew he was full of it from his urgency and scare tactics that he laid on my wifes conscience.  On top of them lying, and trying to take advantage of people that know no better, they left us a absolute mess to clean up.  DO NOT USE ROTO ROOTER!!!!

We then called Arrow for a second opinion.  We had David come out.  He was very honest, professional, clean, and knowledgeable.  He had our pipe cleaned out in no time for $600.  He also talked about a clean out for a quarter of what RR quoted, but then said it would be an option going forward, not a necessity.  

These guys are great, I highly recommend them!!!!

Arrow has been my go-to plumber for over 10 years.  Bruce, in particular, is great at finding the cause of any problem and fixing it right.  Price is reasonable for such high quality work. I won't use anyone else.

Based largely on the positive reviews here on Yelp, I decided to give Arrow Plumbing a call this morning when our old shower handle/valve would not shut off. Within hours, one of their plumbers (Alex) was here and he fixed the problem in less than an hour, replacing the old cartridge, which had corroded, and installing a new handle. He was very courteous, explained everything clearly, and did not leave any mess at all. Best of all, the price was less than I expected it to be. So, Arrow has my recommendation!

Jack was such a nice, honest guy! He provided the best service we have ever had! Great company!

I recommend Arrow Plumbing for any Home plumbing issue or problem you have.  They replaced my Hot Water Heater/Tank and did exactly what they said they'd do, very professional and friendly.  I didn't compare their prices, but plumbing is serious and you get what you paid for, so don't skimp on that stuff.  Review after review on Yelp is a lotta 'they were the cheapest, and really screwed it up.'  Thumbs up high for Arrow.

Arrow plumbing by far, is the most honest plumbing company.  I had my main drain backup and had to call another plumbing company for an emergency drain routing.  After the routing job and camera inspection they told me that my main drain line has separated and they will need to dig up my front yard to fix the drain pipe.  They quoted me $4800.  Luckily I called arrow plumbing for a second opinion and they found nothing wrong with my main drain pipe.  Thank you Arrow plumbing!

Great service and skilled plumbers. Their knowledgeable and clean up after themselves. If you have an old house with old cast iron plumbing, theses are the guys for you!  The office personnel are polite and helpful. Can't say enough about this company! Thanks Bruce for a job well done!!!

Without a doubt, the most positive experience ever with a home service provider.  Noticed water leaking from my kitchen ceiling, called Arrow. Janet had someone here within 2 hours.  Jack determined the problem was a small leak behind the shower control in our upstairs bathroom.  He called the vendor, ordered the part.  it arrived the next morning, I called janet and Jack was back here within 30 minutes.  Shower was fixed, price was fair and the workmanship was first class.  Could not be happier with the experience.

We awoke to a very unpleasant sewage back-up coming through our basement drain. I called at 9am on a Friday after quickly searching Yelp. They were able to send someone same day and he arrived promptly at 12:30, even though I was given a 12:30-2:30 window. Alex was our plumber and he wasted no time diagnosing the problem and explaining things to me as he went. The repair ended up costing far less than anticipated and actually made us realize through our previous experiences with other plumbers that we've been ripped off a few times. This company is honest and does the job right, the first time. He even recommended a clean up company to restore our basement. We won't hesitate to use Arrow for all of our plumbing needs in the future. It's great to know that there are still honest, reliable small companies out there who don't try to take advantage of you when you're in an emergent situation.

Used to be good, but newer staff are young, inexperienced, and trying to up sell. Found out after the fact that i've been charged for years for something i didn't need (TWO batteries in sump pump). also had someone out for a quote and ended up getting charged. will not use again.

Arrow Plumbing came highly recommended by my neighbor.  The service provided far exceeded my expectations.  The plumber was highly knowledgable and took the time (without wasting time) to methodically diagnose the problem and search for the hidden leak.  He was extremely respectful of our home.  First by limiting opening drywall to as few spots as necessary to solve our problem as he understood the hassle and expense of repairing these holes, and second by the superb cleanup job he did when finished with the repair.  The cost for time and materials was very fair.  This was my first experience with Arrow Plumbing, and I will not hesitate to call them again should the need arise.

I purchased another dishwasher and in the introduction procedure I was educated that I required new shutoff valves because of mine being excessively old and wouldn't work with the new machine. I called another organization who said they would come however I never got notification from them the day they were booked. Since I required the work done that day because of the dishwasher installers returning again the following day I contacted Arrow Plumbing, sort of coincidentally true.The number I called was not their main number but rather by one means or another I was directed to them, fortunate for me. I disclosed the circumstance to them and by God's grace they could fit me around the same time. The specialist was extremely pleasant, proficient and I got exceptionally inspired. They were there when they said they would be. They called before entry to give personal time to return home. All in all a great experience with them, I will unquestionably be utilizing them again and would exceedingly suggest.
