I called and spoke with a man who was not able to come to my home to view the project and provide a quote because he didn't have the time to do so, he wanted me to send photos and/or video to him. Other than that he was polite and offered some suggestions over the phone.

This is the 2nd time I've use this company.  I put a claim though the home warranty and the company they sent out told me my box needed to be replaced and the 2 main wires to the main had to be replaced.  Matt tested the wires and said the other company was inaccurate.   Saved me $800.  The warranty company wasn't going to pay to upgrade the wire.

Matt was in and out and I have reliable electricity for a life time.  I highly recommend them.

We called OneStop Pro for a sewer issue that needed to be addressed immediately, and they came out quickly to resolve the problem! One of their electricians also visited the same day to diagnose and address a few non-urgent electrical issues. The professionals from OneStop Pro were all timely, courteous, and knowledgeable, in addition to being up front about their pricing. I would certainly call them in the future!

We have an old two flat that we bought a few years ago and it needs some work. The lights in the back stairway were not working and Jeff fixed this for us and installed a new fixture too. He also converted 2 outlets for us that the previous owners had used as 220V outlets. Jeff was professional and pleasant to work with and is an experienced electrician.. We would highly recommend him to friends/family and will use him again in the future as we address others parts of the building that need updates. Thank you Jeff!!

We have had several great experiences working with Charles and Safe Electrical.  He has done considerable work inside and outside of our home and has always been prompt, honest and efficient.  He has gone out of his way to make sure we got what we were looking for in every job and was amazingly clean and neat in his execution.  He gave us competitive bids on each job but provided extra value each time, whether it was re-seeding grass that he had to dig up outside or revisiting/rescheduling when we discovered some of our lights for installation where broken from the manufacturers.  I would highly recommend them for any inside/outside job you have.

I hired Dave to install an outlet for charging an electric vehicle. 1) he was super responsive. 2) showed up on time for an estimate 3) was priced better than 3 other shops i researched 4) he did a great job.

I will never hire anyone else for electrical projects. It is rare these days to find someone who is honest and transparent - will not rip off customers. Great experience. Strongly recommended

Highly recommend hiring Matt! He responded quickly and was able to schedule me for the day and time I requested. He assembled & hung a ceiling fan, mounted another light fixture, changed a few switches for us, and did it all with quality and professionalism. I would absolutely hire him again for future work in our home!

Had a great experience with Randal Electric. I'm selling my condos in Chicago and some very minor electrical work popped up on the home inspection report. I called a few different electricians on Yelp in the area and a lot hung up on me because my request was too small for them to set an appointment. I communicated with Randy what I needed to be done and he was confident that it would be a quick and easy fix, plus he'd be able to put me down for an appointment the next morning. Eddie was my electrician who was right on time this morning. He was polite and professional and after he was finished with the breaker he even asked if he could review the home inspection report to make sure everything needing an electricians attention was covered. I appreciate honest businesses in home services. While searching for electricians I ran across CR Electric and they tried to upsell me on an entire new panel a 4-6 hour job that would have been unnecessary and over the top. Eddie was able to make the breaker safe and eliminate the double tap breaker installed by a 10+ year old alarm system company that I never used in 7 years of owning the property. I'm glad I called Randal Electric and if I need electricians for the next 4 condos about to go on the market I know who I'll be calling!

We had a potentially large electric problem with some lines from our house to our garage.  They were old, frayed and hanging low.  It was easy to set up getting a quote from Edwin though the Yelp site.  He responded very quickly and arrived on time at the appointed time.  He diagnosed the problem and provided a quote via email.  I accepted his proposal and he let me know when he was available to come and do the work.

He arrived on time, on the scheduled day.  It was a big job which included taking down the old wiring and, digging a trench and sending all new wiring out to the detached garage.  Since the home and garage are both over 100 years old, diagnosing our wiring is like a million piece jigsaw puzzle. Edwin did a great job and everything works great!  He even did a great job to not disturb the landscaping.  You can't even tell that there was a trench dug.

Highly recommend!

I have used Homer's Electric service for some major projects, replacing a storm-downed power line at my home, and installing new service to a rental property. He solved a conundrum at the rental property, that other electrical services couldn't, which was to construct an electric room on an open porch that had been converted from an enclosed porch. All work was done with permits and sign off by a City of Chicago Inspector. This is in response to Nessie X's negative review on this site, that claims he is operating without a City of Chicago License. His license and billing are under VT-Tech Service Inc which IS listed on the City's site with a current license thru 1/2024.

Tom from HandiCo. came to my rescue last winter when I had a frozen/burst pipe problem that required me to have part of my wall replaced. The project was made complicated by the fact that I had to have a part of my wall cut out, then have the city of Chicago water management team replace my leaky water meter, and then have someone come back and close up my wall. Everything went so smoothly -- Tom came and cut a hole in my wall, the city came and replaced my meter, and then Tom came back and patched up the wall. THIS ALL HAPPENED ON THE SAME DAY. Amazing.  Meanwhile, they let me drop by the office to borrow a fan so I could dry out the part of the wall that had been affected by the leak.  They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I have another wall repair project coming up that Tom will help me with, and I will definitely be using them again for any and all other carpentry needs in the future!

Corey and his team installed an overhead light in my bedroom and did wonderfully. He provided me with a honest quote and came to provide the service promptly. I will definitely call Perfected Electric for future needs!

I lost power in my second floor.  Bob came out and effieciently and proffesssionaly fixed the problem.  The charge was fair the service qas excsllent and i would recommend them and use tbem again.

Called for a big job, replacing kitchen and bathroom wiring. He was late to the quote and no-call, no-show for the actual work. I called him to ask how far away he was and he said he forgot about it and can he come the next day instead.

Respond to my inquiry!!  Seriously, never heard from anyone!?  And ended up using someone else
