I was referred to Fixer by a friend that uses the services quite often.  Let me tell you this has to be the best thing since sliced bread, especially for busy single folks who don't have time to figure how to get basic work done around the house!  Steven S. exceeded my expectations!

Greg and Steve of Duplex Electric are great! I found a recommendation for them on next-door.com, and have since had them out to fix a few different issues. Both times I've called they have responded within hours to my voicemail messages and have come out that day or the next day. They first came out to replace a basement ceiling light. Through this they discovered that the switch was improperly wired. They explained clearly what the issue was, and fixed the switch and replaced the fixture quickly. The second time they came out to install two ceiling fixtures and to replace our kitchen outlets with GFCI outlets. Both times they explained to me clearly what the issues were, worked with safety precautions, arrived on time, and charged a reasonable amount. They are super professional, very knowledgeable, and on top of that were friendly with my crazy dogs - I will for sure call them the next time we need anything electrical fixed. We have been researching for a reputable electrician and somehow stumbled upon Art's review in Facebook and then Google. We told ourselves, he must be really good with all the positive review he's got on both site.
All the reviews were accurate.  He came out very professional and yet friendly. He offered very competitive price so we decided to hire him for our project.  
We cannot be thankful enough for the job well done, definitely exceeded our expectations.  We didn't even know he was there as he cleaned up before he left. Will definitely hire him again for our next project.

Our kitchen cabinet (under-mount) lighting stopped working and it was not a simple as to change the bulbs - a wiring issue - so I looked up for a reliable electrician in my area (thank you, Yelp reviewers!) When I called Donatello Electric, Don answered the phone immediately and he was super polite and accommodating. He came and gave us a couple of options and quotes right away. We decided to put this tape-like lighting to go all the way around the entire cabinet. It wasn't inexpensive for a small kitchen but Don said it'd last for a long time, so we pulled the trigger.  We added a dimmer for extra charge, and even though we don't use it, I'm glad we went with it for an added value. If we decide to sell our place down the road, I think it'll look nice during the open house in the evening (I hear that's a thing now). Mike, the electrician, who did all the work, was super nice and got the job done very efficiently to our satisfaction. He also replaced our bathroom switches. We were very happy with their service and highly recommend them!

This is the 2nd time I've use this company.  I put a claim though the home warranty and the company they sent out told me my box needed to be replaced and the 2 main wires to the main had to be replaced.  Matt tested the wires and said the other company was inaccurate.   Saved me $800.  The warranty company wasn't going to pay to upgrade the wire.

Matt was in and out and I have reliable electricity for a life time.  I highly recommend them.

I had this company install 3 new ceiling fans  and fix two other problems in my home and they were great! The price was right and the service and people were great and they cleaned  and vacuumed after they finished.They are now my new electricians.

We have an old two flat that we bought a few years ago and it needs some work. The lights in the back stairway were not working and Jeff fixed this for us and installed a new fixture too. He also converted 2 outlets for us that the previous owners had used as 220V outlets. Jeff was professional and pleasant to work with and is an experienced electrician.. We would highly recommend him to friends/family and will use him again in the future as we address others parts of the building that need updates. Thank you Jeff!!

Contracted Charles based on Yelp reviews.  We needed a gas & electric fueled stove installed which required switching a hardwired setup to a plug-in.  We called on Saturday, he was out and job was completed Monday morning.  Not only did he do the wiring, he moved the gas pipe and patched the hole in the floor left by the previous unit's downdraft unit.  Friendly, professional, and trustworthy.

Am so grateful to have found David !!! Can't speak highly enough of his work ethic and professionalism.....he is very reasonably priced and just a good guy,no bones about it!shows when he says he will, does the job he promises and doesn't have ridiculous rates! very impressed!

We needed a conduit box moved so we could have some new windows installed.  Although the project was more complicated than it initially appeared, Matt investigated the issue and devised a creative solution.  He was friendly, professional, efficient, and is obviously extremely knowledgeable.  Very reasonable rates.  I would highly recommend him and will certainly call Goldstream again for future electrical work.

Very professional and knowledgeable tech.    After getting a couple quotes from different companies I decided to change the electric panel and  install the ev charger with Electric Castle . Mike and Bogdan explained the process and the steps they have to do in order to get the job done. Very careful around the house, clean and outstanding job overall

Homer is the hardest working man in Chicago!  Had a big branch fall on my wires and the electric company said no power until it was fixed. Asked friends for suggestions, made several calls, couldn't get anyone to take a look in a timely fashion.
I did find Homer on Yelp, and I'm happy I did.  He came out that day and walked me through all my options. The major repair was all finished within 24 hours, which even allowed us to keep what was in the fridge!
He even helped with getting the electric company to reconnect the power. I would recommend Homer and Eric to anyone.

Used Handico to paint my condo and I couldn't have been happier with the results.  They were not the cheapest quote we received but in showing competitive quotes to them they were able to match the pricing (we wanted to use a local service).  The work was done in a timely manner with a friendly and reliable staff (showed up on time, etc).  I will certainly use them for future projects.

Corey and his team installed an overhead light in my bedroom and did wonderfully. He provided me with a honest quote and came to provide the service promptly. I will definitely call Perfected Electric for future needs!

a tree branch fell and took out the pipe to our electric meter. I called 3 companies , a to z was the first one to come out. the estimate was clear and professional .  only one other company  came  out, and was miles off and vague on their  estimate . Bob was efficient fast and super respectful . Highly recommend them.

Angel is fantastic! I'd recommend him for all of your electrical needs.  He was quick to respond, professional and honest.  Had a faulty track light in our kitchen which he managed to teach me about and fix in no time.  Excellent service!
