Greg and Steve of Duplex Electric are great! I found a recommendation for them on next-door.com, and have since had them out to fix a few different issues. Both times I've called they have responded within hours to my voicemail messages and have come out that day or the next day. They first came out to replace a basement ceiling light. Through this they discovered that the switch was improperly wired. They explained clearly what the issue was, and fixed the switch and replaced the fixture quickly. The second time they came out to install two ceiling fixtures and to replace our kitchen outlets with GFCI outlets. Both times they explained to me clearly what the issues were, worked with safety precautions, arrived on time, and charged a reasonable amount. They are super professional, very knowledgeable, and on top of that were friendly with my crazy dogs - I will for sure call them the next time we need anything electrical fixed. I am moving from the area and with packing/donating items, etc. needed an electrician to help with a thermostat in my home before the house could be available for rent. I reached out and was contacted immediately by Art from AZ Electrical. He was very professional and was able to give me an estimate of the cost I could expect when he arrived and soon we had a date/time arranged within the week that worked with my busy schedule.  He called the day before to confirm the appointment  which was fabulous!  He arrived promptly, as expected, and was courteous, knew exactly what needed to be done with the thermostat and cleaned up thoroughly after himself.  No change or price gouging when the service call was over.  I am totally satisfied and would definitely recommend him to all of my friends and neighbors and will be using his services again should the need arise.

We called Donatello Electric about a light fixture above our bathroom medicine cabinet.  Some days the light would go on, some days it wouldn't.
Mike arrived early (he called ahead to make sure that was ok).  He found a flakey connector in the fixture.  He removed the connector and hard wired the fixture so we wouldn't have that problem again.  Mike was clean and polite.  We will call Donatello the next time we need electrical work.

Jack and his crew have done a number of jobs at my house (added a mini-split line and took care of some home inspection issues).  Pricing is very competitive and the work has been excellent.  Highly recommend.

Having intermittent issues with my furnace and, of course, when Robert from OneStop came out, it worked perfectly.

However, Robert continued to try to diagnose the problem based on what I was telling him. He listened to what I was experiencing with the furnace and checked several possible causes to no avail. He made a couple recommendations and was on his way.

He didn't charge me for the visit which I greatly appreciated, but didn't expect!  He was very friendly and honest. OneStop most definitely is going to be my first call for any HVAC issues in the future.

I replaced many outlets in the house and it turned out that I installed something wrong. As the result, some lights and outlets stopped working. I was really worried that the problem may cause danger. I called around and finally got Jeff to help me immediately. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. He helped me identify and fix the problems right away. In addition, he helped me examine all the outlets that I replaced and fixed some problems there. Finally, he helped me replaced two ceiling lights, two outside wall lights, one CGFI outlet, and one fire alarm. He is very patient and nice to work with. He helped me with many tasks beautifully.

Everything went well. I am very happy with his work and attitude. I would definitely call him again if I need help with electricity in the house.

Prompt response and very friendly, detailed and educational to boot! Haven't had to actually hire them yet but looking forward to future projects once this crazy pandemic year is behind us.

Phenomenal, Fair, Quick, Knowledgeable, and Professional

Like most people, I don't like to have my time wasted. When our family electrician wouldn't return my calls, I found Dave online and decided to give him a call based on the positive Yelp reviews.

He responded quickly, had great availability, and was out right away. He walked me through exactly what he was doing, got it knocked out quickly, and charged an extremely reasonable price. Dave was also personable, knowledgeable, and professional -- The kind of person you want to do business with and trust.

As soon as Dave left we took down the old electrician's number from our breaker box and put his business card up there instead; as I know who we're going to call for future electrical needs.

Fantastic electrician - in fact I think I can easily say Matt is one of the best contractors we've ever worked with. He's upgraded our house to 200amp service and has also installed a Level 2 charger for an EV.

So why 5-stars? 1) He's very good at what he does (have had GC's verify/comment on the quality of his work), 2) He's friendly and explains things in plain language that is easy to understand and make decisions from, 3) He shows up on time and is incredibly responsive, and 4) His pricing is reasonable. Not basement, not exorbitant, just the right amount for the quality of work he does.

Very professional and knowledgeable tech.    After getting a couple quotes from different companies I decided to change the electric panel and  install the ev charger with Electric Castle . Mike and Bogdan explained the process and the steps they have to do in order to get the job done. Very careful around the house, clean and outstanding job overall

I've used Homer on a couple different occasions to update wiring in an old building. He is extremely responsive, always on time, and you can tell he knows what he's doing. We've been very happy with his work and will use him again in the future.

I'm not giving HandiCo 1 star because our actual painter (Tom) was great. We agreed to pay $95/hour to paint our bedroom and two closets -- 700 sq feet in total. They sent one painter. ONE. It took 7 hours + to complete. So, a lot of money in total and we still have half of our apartment to paint. I am incredibly disappointed and angry. If you're looking to use them, do your research and make sure the appropriate # of painters are available. I do not plan on using them again.

I was looking for someone to replace and install a chandelier and ceiling fan on a very high ceiling for my parents. I'm on the east coast and my parents live in Plainfield, IL so I looked on Yelp for an electrician and many of the businesses I called were closed. I came across Corey's business and was surprised to see that he was still open. I spoke to Corey and explained what I was looking for and he didn't hesitate to say that he could do the job. You see, the chandelier is one of those geometric shapes and other electricians told me that a scaffold was needed and/or the chandelier couldn't be installed on a sloped ceiling. Some electricians never called me back after seeing the chandelier. Corey sent me a link to the contract by text and I signed it electronically.  Both items were installed that following Wednesday (AND, he used a ladder and not scaffold).  He did a magnificent job! My parents were extremely happy and so was I after seeing the photos Corey sent me. If you are looking for a professional electrician that provides quality work you definitely won't go wrong with Corey.

When we needed to have electrical work done on our home, it was easy to decide to contact A to Z since we have used them successfully in the past. We provided a list of necessary work and we reviewed it with A to Z. They went over the list with us when they completed the job. The charge was fair. Workers came on time and did the work in a professional and timely manner. They advised us that repairing something we thought necessary wasn't necessary at all.
I would definitely recommend working with this company. They were very friendly, helpful, and professional. They were available after the job to address any concerns.
One of the projects A to Z Electric completed was what I called an electric spider web in our basement utility room. As you can see by the photos, A to Z Electric was successful at repairing this.

Angel is the man! I called him around 2:30PM to have 4 light fixtures replaced in the stairwells of my house (high ceilings). I explained to him the urgency of having these replaced and he told me he could be there by 5:30 later that day. He actually showed up an hour early (4:30PM) and was done within 3 hours.

I highly recommend Angel, will be calling him back for future projects.

I was having an issue with the exhaust fan in my bathroom. The fixer handyman came out exactly on time and was so incredibly kind and helpful. He answered all of my questions and was very professional. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again!
