Greg and Steve of Duplex Electric are great! I found a recommendation for them on next-door.com, and have since had them out to fix a few different issues. Both times I've called they have responded within hours to my voicemail messages and have come out that day or the next day. They first came out to replace a basement ceiling light. Through this they discovered that the switch was improperly wired. They explained clearly what the issue was, and fixed the switch and replaced the fixture quickly. The second time they came out to install two ceiling fixtures and to replace our kitchen outlets with GFCI outlets. Both times they explained to me clearly what the issues were, worked with safety precautions, arrived on time, and charged a reasonable amount. They are super professional, very knowledgeable, and on top of that were friendly with my crazy dogs - I will for sure call them the next time we need anything electrical fixed. Art from AZ Electrical came to my home to replace a hallway light, a porch light, change out a broken switch, as well as remove a broken lamppost in my back yard. Art was quick to respond to my request, and we set up an appointment for him to come to my home to view the work to be done and to give me a cost estimate. His pricing was fair, and he was awarded the job, which took place only a few days later. Art was professional and very knowledgeable in his craft. He was proficient and was meticulous in making sure the job was done correctly, exceeding my expectations.  For all of my future electrical needs, I will be calling AZ Electrical.

Our kitchen cabinet (under-mount) lighting stopped working and it was not a simple as to change the bulbs - a wiring issue - so I looked up for a reliable electrician in my area (thank you, Yelp reviewers!) When I called Donatello Electric, Don answered the phone immediately and he was super polite and accommodating. He came and gave us a couple of options and quotes right away. We decided to put this tape-like lighting to go all the way around the entire cabinet. It wasn't inexpensive for a small kitchen but Don said it'd last for a long time, so we pulled the trigger.  We added a dimmer for extra charge, and even though we don't use it, I'm glad we went with it for an added value. If we decide to sell our place down the road, I think it'll look nice during the open house in the evening (I hear that's a thing now). Mike, the electrician, who did all the work, was super nice and got the job done very efficiently to our satisfaction. He also replaced our bathroom switches. We were very happy with their service and highly recommend them!

I can't believe these folks do not have a review on Yelp. Jack the owner and his employees are outstanding. I cannot say enough great things about Prolite Electric. Professional. Great follow-up. Great pricing. Very fair. Excellent service.

I woke up to no hot water this morning. Turns out the pilot light on the water heater was out. I tried a few times to get it to light with no luck.

My usual plumber is no longer is business so I hopped on Yelp to find a new one. Seeing that One Stop Pro is in my town (always love to support local businesses) and had high reviews, I decided to call (around 9AM). The woman to answered the phone was very nice and took my info down to pass to the pros who would then call me to schedule the appointment.

I waited a good 3 hours but never received a call. I then submitted a quote through Yelp to see if I could get an appointment scheduled for today that way. The owner did reply back pretty quick and stated that they would have a guy reach out to me. I thought that meant I'd be getting a call to schedule the appointment. So I waited another 30 min, but when I didn't hear back, I called another company.

To be fair, the owner might have meant getting a guy out to my location right away and not to just make the appointment. Either way, 3 hours is a long time to be waiting just to schedule an appointment in the first place.

I guess if you do the schedule thing through Yelp instead of making the call and waiting for the call back, you'll probably get help sooner. I can't say for sure because I didn't get that far. I'm not sure I would use One Stop Pro in the future as their scheduling process doesn't seem the best for time sensitive needs. And plumbing issues tend to usually be emergencies.

In the end, I kind of wish I wouldn't have wasted half the day for nothing and called the other guy first. Hopefully, I'm still able to get the water heater fixed before the end of the day so I don't have to go another day without hot water as a result.

We have an old two flat that we bought a few years ago and it needs some work. The lights in the back stairway were not working and Jeff fixed this for us and installed a new fixture too. He also converted 2 outlets for us that the previous owners had used as 220V outlets. Jeff was professional and pleasant to work with and is an experienced electrician.. We would highly recommend him to friends/family and will use him again in the future as we address others parts of the building that need updates. Thank you Jeff!!

I had an excellent experience with Next Level Electrical from beginning to end.  For a while I had been putting off getting a new bedroom ceiling fan and bathroom electrical outlet installed.  Finally I made a call to get it done.  Dave responded to my message quickly, charged me a price that felt very fair to me, and was extremely personable and professional while in our home.  I chose Dave because of all the positive Yelp reviews and now I see they were well deserved.

I called Goldstream, and they came sooner than originally promised.   The work was done quickly,  and competently. I would definitely hire them again.

Highly recommend! Mike came by within an hour of me connecting with him to install an outlet for my EV. He explained the process and walked me through it step by step just so I'm aware. I was so impressed, I asked him to work on more electrical stuff around our condo and he's coming back to do those jobs.

Had a great experience with Randal Electric. I'm selling my condos in Chicago and some very minor electrical work popped up on the home inspection report. I called a few different electricians on Yelp in the area and a lot hung up on me because my request was too small for them to set an appointment. I communicated with Randy what I needed to be done and he was confident that it would be a quick and easy fix, plus he'd be able to put me down for an appointment the next morning. Eddie was my electrician who was right on time this morning. He was polite and professional and after he was finished with the breaker he even asked if he could review the home inspection report to make sure everything needing an electricians attention was covered. I appreciate honest businesses in home services. While searching for electricians I ran across CR Electric and they tried to upsell me on an entire new panel a 4-6 hour job that would have been unnecessary and over the top. Eddie was able to make the breaker safe and eliminate the double tap breaker installed by a 10+ year old alarm system company that I never used in 7 years of owning the property. I'm glad I called Randal Electric and if I need electricians for the next 4 condos about to go on the market I know who I'll be calling!

We contacted AES about doing the wiring for our new garbage disposal, they responded promptly, offered to come out for a free estimate in person the next day, arrived on time, and fit us in for the next day to do the work.  The estimate was 100% accurate, the work was completed efficiently and everyone was courteous and professional. We highly recommend this company!

We really appreciated his knowledge and recommendation to first check with Commonwealth Edison first. He didn't charge anything to assess what work.mau be needed. We will definitely recommend him to our friends.

And I would give them more stars if I could. I needed a handy man, and my contractor canceled on me early in the morning because of an issue. But I found HandiCo on Angie's List and they were quick to respond. Within a 2.5 hour period I had my door fixed, and my nightmare over. They are life saviors. If I have any non-emergency, or emergency fixes, these are the guys to call.

I worked with Corey - his response time was extremely quick and was flexible with his schedule. We had a chandelier that needed to be hung and Corey did a great job. We will definitely be using his services again for other electrical projects in my condo!  They also provide very fair prices for the work being completed.  I had a lot of difficulty finding anyone that could match his quote.

Overall I am extremely happy with the service that was provided and love the job that was done.

A to Z has completed a number of jobs at my home and I have been completely satisfied. The previous owner of my house had installed an illegal electrical wiring in my garage and A to Z redid everything the right way.  They are always available when I need them and are great guys!  I highly recommend them.
