The repairs were done quickly and professionally. This was much easier and quicker than I thought. Prices are great and they are very transparent about costs. Definitely recommend!
PS: I was able to book them and communicate with them online and with texts which is another big plus for me that I didn't have to make any phone calls.

I found Steve and Greg through a Moms of Western Springs FB group. We had a switch go out and there was an arc of electricity so I was concerned about fixing it as soon as possible. Jack and his team have done a few projects for us. Always on time and provided professional electrician services. They did all the electric throughout our basement. Gave us ideas on how to better layout the lights. They were so good we had them back out to install 240V some additional fixtures throughout our house. They even pointed out some roof damage that we had no idea we had. 100% 5 star service at an affordable rate

Needed about five overhead lights replaced, some with bad wiring and others with very old fixtures. Jeff came out to our home, resolved some of my 'creative workarounds', offered suggestions, spotted some bad wiring, addressed said problem, and gave me an estimate for other wish list work.

Overall, Jeff was very easy to work with and I'd have no problem recommending him for this type of work.

I originally hired Safe Electrical Service 3.5 years ago to preform an electrical inspection on  a home I was considering purchasing. Charles Ottsott was extremely professional and knowledge. When we ended up buying another house we had him preform the electrical inspection on that as well and he helped us determine that the home needed new wiring throughout and updated electrical panel. We eventually hired Safe Electrical to rewire our entire house, install all new devices and fixtures, and upgrade to 200 Amp service with new circuit breaker panel. His entire team was extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable, clean and organized. They properly protected all surfaces and respected our time and property. I work in the home remodeling business so I deal with contractors and service providers all the time and Safe Electric is one of the best companies I have had the pleasure working with. Their work passed all city inspections. I will use  them on all future  electrical projects.

I am so glad that I found David on YELP. I read the reviews and contacted him through an e mail on his website. He replied immediately and I set up a date for him to come and give an estimate. He was on time and not only gave a very reasonable estimate but was able to stay and do the job. He spent over 3 hours at our house and we love the results. I highly recommend David and will not hesitate to call him back or recommend him to others.

Highly recommend Matt for quality and service.  He installed a Tesla wall connector in our garage.  He was honest about his recommendations and gave me choices.  He showed up on time and worked 6 hours straight.  His prices are competitive but his skill is what I would use him again for.  If you are looking to have service for your new electric vehicle, then Matt is your guy!

Very professional and knowledgeable tech.    After getting a couple quotes from different companies I decided to change the electric panel and  install the ev charger with Electric Castle . Had a great experience with Randal Electric. I'm selling my condos in Chicago and some very minor electrical work popped up on the home inspection report. I called a few different electricians on Yelp in the area and a lot hung up on me because my request was too small for them to set an appointment. I communicated with Randy what I needed to be done and he was confident that it would be a quick and easy fix, plus he'd be able to put me down for an appointment the next morning. Eddie was my electrician who was right on time this morning. He was polite and professional and after he was finished with the breaker he even asked if he could review the home inspection report to make sure everything needing an electricians attention was covered. I appreciate honest businesses in home services. While searching for electricians I ran across CR Electric and they tried to upsell me on an entire new panel a 4-6 hour job that would have been unnecessary and over the top. Eddie was able to make the breaker safe and eliminate the double tap breaker installed by a 10+ year old alarm system company that I never used in 7 years of owning the property. I'm glad I called Randal Electric and if I need electricians for the next 4 condos about to go on the market I know who I'll be calling!

They were fantastic from start to finish. Professional demeanor, communicated with us very well throughout. They initially quoted us on the job based on my explanation and a picture but then we soon realized after they got to the job this would not work because of a brick pillar that would have been very difficult to fish wire through. They assessed the situation and gave me different options and were very fair on the price.  Cleaned up afterwards and were willing to answer all of my questions.  Thanks again to Edwin and Brian. I've used Homer on a couple different occasions to update wiring in an old building. He is extremely responsive, always on time, and you can tell he knows what he's doing. We've been very happy with his work and will use him again in the future.

I had the pleasure of receiving service from Perfected Electric. Corey was prompt and timely, very communicative, and explained everything very well and in detail.  He crossed all Ts and dotted all Is regarding what to expect for my ceiling fan replacement and installation of my 6 low profile recessed ceiling lights. I am already planning to utilize his services again for a couple of other projects.  He is highly recommended by me.

When we needed to have electrical work done on our home, it was easy to decide to contact A to Z since we have used them successfully in the past. We provided a list of necessary work and we reviewed it with A to Z. They went over the list with us when they completed the job. The charge was fair. Workers came on time and did the work in a professional and timely manner. They advised us that repairing something we thought necessary wasn't necessary at all.
I would definitely recommend working with this company. They were very friendly, helpful, and professional. They were available after the job to address any concerns.
One of the projects A to Z Electric completed was what I called an electric spider web in our basement utility room. As you can see by the photos, A to Z Electric was successful at repairing this.

I contacted Fixer last Wednesday to see if they could take on a small task that just required supporting a couple of bolts on the hinge of my fence. When I called, the representative couldn't quite understand the scope of my project, so he decided it would be best to schedule a consultation. I explained I only wanted a consultation if the project could be completed that same day. He said it shouldn't be a problem. He confirmed the cost would be $139 at time of consultation and that would be applied toward the total project of hired, also that would be the hourly rate. Knowing there's no way that project would be more than an hour. I was desperate and needing it to be done ASAP and so I agreed.

My scheduled time came and went and then I received a notice that my appointment was rescheduled to the following day and they would Credit $15 toward the cost of the consultation. I reached back out and again reinforce that I wanted to cancel unless the project could be completed on the same day. Again was told it should not be a problem.

Nino came out the next day. He was very professional, and nice. He explained he couldn't do the project the same day because he hadn't been booked for it, and even if he had, it was too cold for him to make the repair.

This was a blessing in disguise. I paid the consultation fee, and later got the estimate and was in shock - the total for this project was nearly $300. I had no idea they were going to charge $89 for their handy person to walk into a hardware store, on top of charging $50 (+20% upcharge) for parts which was a couple pieces of wood and a couple of bolts and the hourly rate.

My dad made the repair today in less than 30 mins with a drill and two bolts. He also used a saw to level out the bottom of the fence as Nino had also offered to do.

I just can't believe the cost, it's outrageous. I would not recommend this company based on cost and also the administrative to field miscommunication.
