A small plumbing job turned into a bigger job but Linda was extremely quick and professional completing the job in a superb fashion. Will use again for future jobs for sure.

I was recommended to Duplex for my home electrical needs by a long-time friend who is an industrial electrician as the company my friend uses for his home needs. Greg and Steve at Duplex where terrific and fixed my complicated electrical issues in my old home.  I was impressed with their practical approach, as they explained what was needed for life safety and what was an optional fix if I wanted to save money.  They truly understand their craft and put customers first.  They are also extremely reliable with scheduling, which can be rare in the repair and maintenance industry. I highly recommend Duplex.

I need a wired patio motion detector light replaced. I reached out to AZ Electrical and others with a Request a Quote. Art responded quickly with a competitive price.

When I hired him, I actually hadn't recalled that I'd hired him previously. Eep.

Things went great. He texted with an ETA about 30 minutes before arriving, which is appreciated. He took down the old light, installed the new one, and tested it for me. He offered to throw out the old light )not necessary, but nice).

Called over the weekend due to dishwasher not working and requiring electrical assistance. Don said he would call back Sat afternoon- which he did. Then he said he would call Monday for a better estimate of coming by. Never called, listed immediate cost of service and work required.

I called another electrician who provided a walk through over the phone to try to trouble shoot the issue without paying. Excellent guy who then came out and charged much less.

Thanks Don for the terrible customer service! I found someone better and cheaper!

Purchased a new house and had a few electrical items to address.  Found Prolite Electric on Yelp and felt good about their reviews.  After leaving a message, Jack called me back that day.  Went over his pricing and I felt he was very reasonable so I made an appointment.   He sent his technician Matt over to fix the items and I was very pleased with Matt's service.  He was on time and very professional.  I'm looking forward to using them in the future.

Update 1/3/2017.  Again Matt does another great job.  Had a laundry list of items to get done and  Matt's work was perfect.  Jack is very affordable and this will always be the company that does my electrical work.

Called these guys with an issue, got an immediate response and an appointment for two days later. A gentleman came out and offered a cheaper and much less time consuming fix and it's been working beautifully! They even took the time to send a thank you note for choosing them. Matt and Goldstream are everything that you could want in a contractor. From the first interaction, Matt made the whole experience easy. He scheduled a quote over text message, showed up on time, and offered a fair price. When he came to do the actual work (installation of recessed lights), he was meticulous and clean. He also made several excellent recommendations on how we could utilize wireless technology to avoid the need for opening up drywall (saving us money that we would have needed to otherwise spend on drywall repairs). We'll definitely be using Matt for any electrical needs in the future.

Owner of the company is honest.  Did all work as expected.  His workers were puntual and professional.  Calls were returned, problems addressed quickly.  Solid contractor.

Installed a new outlet for a wall mounted tv. Did a great job and was quick. Great price and great service.

I have used Homer's Electric service for some major projects, replacing a storm-downed power line at my home, and installing new service to a rental property. He solved a conundrum at the rental property, that other electrical services couldn't, which was to construct an electric room on an open porch that had been converted from an enclosed porch. All work was done with permits and sign off by a City of Chicago Inspector. This is in response to Nessie X's negative review on this site, that claims he is operating without a City of Chicago License. His license and billing are under VT-Tech Service Inc which IS listed on the City's site with a current license thru 1/2024.

Tom C. did a wonderful job on a couple of odd jobs I had around the house. He was very professional, worked quickly, and cleaned up when he was done! I highly recommend him!

His 10+ years of experience shows through his knowledge, and his honesty is something much appreciated from a first time homeowner. Highly recommended, Perfected Electric Services will be my go-to for anything electrical for years to come.

I would not recommend this company. When they replaced the breaker box they had to remove wood paneling on the wall, which was fine - they put it back. But in doing the work they damaged the tiles at the bottom, and then refused to take responsibility. They said they were broken before they began work and wouldn't fix it. We have proof they were not broken as our house had detailed photos and videos taken right before that to be put on the market.
The only positive is that they were the only electricians able to get the work done quickly. But I still wouldn't hire them again.

I called these folks to come help me with a project when I got 3/4th in and couldn't figure it out. They were able to schedule a time the next day (!) and they showed up right on time, got done in 30 minutes, and did everything I needed. Professional and competent. Can't ask for more than that! Nino and Andrew were good guys, and clearly knew what they were doing. Much appreciated! I'll definitely be using Fixer in the future.
