I've used fixer about 10 times in the last year and each time was a very pleasant experience.  They even did a partial remodel of two bathrooms for me with new paint, vanity, mirror and light and I paid much less than a general contractor would have charged.  Very easy to book and responsive.

Steve is the electrical contractor you are looking for! Quick response time, friendly, knowledgeable and cleaned up. No surprises with pricing, what he quoted was what we paid. Will definitely use him for all future project's!

I had purchased a new washer/dryer and was stressed out when I found that my electrical wasn't up to code. I called about 5 different guys, 2 didn't call back, one told me he'd have to make huge cuts in my ceiling to do the job, and one was going to take 3 weeks before they could come back.

Duplex Electric came out quickly, explained the process that they planned to use and scheduled a return appointment in a reasonable time frame. They were so friendly! They have top marks on Angie's List, and are also the electricians for St. John of the Cross Parish.

They did a great job on what I needed. There were two working together, so they worked efficiently, and they explained everything to me in detail so that there was no confusion (much appreciated). I felt confident hiring them, and they made the process stress-free. I also referred them to my parents who also had an excellent experience. I would recommend them to anyone!

Art was great to work with - even came back out the same day because I originally purchased the wrong ceiling fan!

Arrived on time. Performed work as needed and exactly as specified. Finished ahead of schedule. Gave me multiple options during the quoting process with full explanation of everything. Didn't try to push me into anything I didn't want. I would recommend to others.

Prolite is one of the subcontractors working on my home remodel. They came and installed two ceiling fans for me and did the wiring for my bathroom remodel. I wanted to write a review as OneStop Pro actually came out to give me a quote for a job at my residence.  I was stuck with one area of electricity (from one of my circuit breakers) not on / functioning after my home had experienced a complete power outage for about 10 minutes the day before my service.
Sam was fantastic and I would rate him with 5 stars.  (He ended up not needing to run new wire for me and figured out what the issue was that was causing the lack of power to a certain area.  He offered up some explanations to me so I would know what was going on and something that I should consider upgrading at my home (when I would be able to afford to do so).  Thanks, Sam!
OneStop Pro as a company gets rated with 5 stars as well, because the company actually had someone who answered the phone AND was able to get someone out to give me an estimate.  I like the fact that I was priced for a job.  (Being charged by the hour is a bit unsettling, because one would not know how long a job would take.  PLUS there were a handful of companies that did not answer or did not get back to me with leaving a message either.)
The only reason I gave an overall rating of 4, though, is that even with my price being a little less than what was originally quoted, it was still a pretty hefty cost for a job that took a little more than an hour to complete.
OneStop Pro would be one of the places I would contact if I needed a job to get done!

I left a voice message after hours. Jeff called me with a quick reply. I explained my electrical issues. Luckily he was able to address them on Saturday as he was available. He was on time, found and fixed my problem the same day. My husband said he was a great guy! I definitely would use Jeff again.

Charles and his crew were fantastic. We purchased a house that passed inspection but ended up having significant and dangerous electrical issues. The team spent a day and a half essentially rewiring the house. They were courteous, considerate, detail-oriented, professional, communicative, and most importantly, they saved us from a potentially devastating situation.

The small things make the difference between service and service excellence. Charles had to make an opening in the cabinet above our refrigerator (there was no alternative), explained it thoroughly before it was done, patched it beautifully, and even fixed the trim that our contractors hadn't properly nailed into the cabinet. They not only completely protected our floors but also cleaned up any errant salt from the snow outside. These small things really impressed me after months of renovations and wildly different experiences with other service providers.

This is a highly specialized skill and you get what you pay for. SAFE's services were worth every penny and we won't hesitate to use them again in the future.

If I could give David Wilczak of Next Level Contracting 6 stars, I would.  I'm a real estate investor in the Chicago market, but I live in NY.  Because I'm rarely onsite I needed someone I could trust from afar to get my jobs done properly and on time.  I've been burned by contractors before.  David exceeded all my expectations and went above and beyond what was required.  In the past 2 years he has rehabbed several properties for me from top to bottom.  He has an innate sense of how to approach a vintage restoration to preserve period features.  He pays strict attention to detail and has strong communication skills.  I trust him to keep the keys and come and go as needed.  He is an electrician by trade, but he's highly skilled in all aspects of home renovation and repair.

I have found my new electrician! Matthew is as good as they get. He solved the electrical issue I had, and installed several fixtures. He works extremely cleanly, and does things the right way. He is very friendly, and his pricing is also reasonable. I recommend him without hesitation.

Highly recommend! Mike came by within an hour of me connecting with him to install an outlet for my EV. He explained the process and walked me through it step by step just so I'm aware. I was so impressed, I asked him to work on more electrical stuff around our condo and he's coming back to do those jobs.

Had a great experience with Randal Electric. I'm selling my condos in Chicago and some very minor electrical work popped up on the home inspection report. I called a few different electricians on Yelp in the area and a lot hung up on me because my request was too small for them to set an appointment. I communicated with Randy what I needed to be done and he was confident that it would be a quick and easy fix, plus he'd be able to put me down for an appointment the next morning. Eddie was my electrician who was right on time this morning. He was polite and professional and after he was finished with the breaker he even asked if he could review the home inspection report to make sure everything needing an electricians attention was covered. I appreciate honest businesses in home services. While searching for electricians I ran across CR Electric and they tried to upsell me on an entire new panel a 4-6 hour job that would have been unnecessary and over the top. Eddie was able to make the breaker safe and eliminate the double tap breaker installed by a 10+ year old alarm system company that I never used in 7 years of owning the property. I'm glad I called Randal Electric and if I need electricians for the next 4 condos about to go on the market I know who I'll be calling!

Edwin is responsive, friendly, and solved our electrical issue promptly. He also installed electric to our deck. Highly recommend.

I've used Homer on a couple different occasions to update wiring in an old building. He is extremely responsive, always on time, and you can tell he knows what he's doing. We've been very happy with his work and will use him again in the future.

I'm not giving HandiCo 1 star because our actual painter (Tom) was great. We agreed to pay $95/hour to paint our bedroom and two closets -- 700 sq feet in total. They sent one painter. ONE. It took 7 hours + to complete. So, a lot of money in total and we still have half of our apartment to paint. I am incredibly disappointed and angry. If you're looking to use them, do your research and make sure the appropriate # of painters are available. I do not plan on using them again.

I was drilling into the wall to install some shelves when the power to our condo went out completely. We called 4 or 5 different electric companies that said they provided emergency services and A to Z was the ONLY one that we were even able to talk to an electrician. The owner actually answered the call, and was able to walk us through finding and resetting the circuit breaker outside our unit, which, as he suspected, had been tripped. Lights came on and everything was fine. Someone was able to come out that week to check and make sure I didn't do serious damage. I would definitely recommend working with this company. They were very friendly, helpful and professional.

Angel is the man! I called him around 2:30PM to have 4 light fixtures replaced in the stairwells of my house (high ceilings). I explained to him the urgency of having these replaced and he told me he could be there by 5:30 later that day. He actually showed up an hour early (4:30PM) and was done within 3 hours.

I highly recommend Angel, will be calling him back for future projects.

The fixer was quick to understand the project and complete within an hour. Absolutely trust worthy....!
