This past winter, our pipes froze so we had to cut a hole in the wall in order to access the pipes. Months went by and we kept putting off getting the hole patched. The Evanston Moms FB page had recommended Fixer so I reached out and they were able to respond quickly and with a competitive quote. They did a great job patching the hole, were very quick and quiet, offered to take off his shoes and wore a mask, and at the end of the day, the guy pointed out my walkway had both a dead bird and a dead mouse (eww) which he offered to dispose of if I could get him a bag. I told him I would take care of it but I really appreciated his kind offer and going that extra step to do something completely unrelated. The best part? I referred my sister to their services and I got a credit! I'll definitely be reaching out to them for future jobs.

These two electricians are the very best.  I would highly recommend them.  My outside lights were all out and they fixed them quickly and efficiently.  They are prompt, neat and fairly priced.  I would trust them with any of my electrical needs.

Art responded quickly to my request for help in updating and repairing outlets in my older house.   He provided a reasonable estimate up front, was available quickly, arrived in a timely manner, and did all work to standard.  I'll call him back for my next electrical issue!

Have to get some outlets and other fixes updated in my older condo and so happy with this company. Don sent Ken and he has great customer service and helped fixed what he could working within my budget for today. Still much to be done but will definitely be calling again to have them come out and eventually finish fixing it all. Ken and Don are my new go to company when I need electrical work done and will be telling friends.

We realized we needed an electrician on a Sunday and after reviewing our online options my husband called Prolite and spoke to the owner Jack. The next morning Matt came and replaced the bad breaker switch. Along with inside power being restored we now can open the garage door again.
We were very pleased with the service and the price. We would not hesitate to use them again if we need electrical work done.

After this recent run in with the Polar Vortex we had a pipe burst. I could hear the water leaking behind the walls and within hours Will and his helper from OneStop Pro were here and working. They assessed the situation and fixed the leak in no time and with minimal wall removal. He also gave me many pointers on how to prevent this in the future. I'm very happy with the work and especially happy with the fact that they were over in minutes considering most of the plumbers I called were booked for days. Highly recommend!

I have just bought an old house and was following up on inspection items. Jeff got to us quickly, educated me on things and helped me to determine the importance on different issues. He did the work independently, and came back when he said he would to complete the job. I was very happy with his work and his easy helpful manner, and will be having him back to swap out light fixtures and put in an exterior outlet.

Safe Electric was a great choice. They may have saved our lives. We had an unsafe electrical box that had been recalled years ago and we did not know it. Plus they found other issues. Charles,  Alex and the other electrician were professional and courteous. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had an excellent experience with Next Level Electrical from beginning to end.  For a while I had been putting off getting a new bedroom ceiling fan and bathroom electrical outlet installed.  Finally I made a call to get it done.  Dave responded to my message quickly, charged me a price that felt very fair to me, and was extremely personable and professional while in our home.  I chose Dave because of all the positive Yelp reviews and now I see they were well deserved.

Matt was great - he was able to give an estimate without having to make an appointment to come to our house, showed up on time, was efficient, fairly priced, and improved/brought up to code some of the work - all without making a huge mess. I'd hire him again and would highly recommend him.

Highly recommend! Mike came by within an hour of me connecting with him to install an outlet for my EV. He explained the process and walked me through it step by step just so I'm aware. I was so impressed, I asked him to work on more electrical stuff around our condo and he's coming back to do those jobs.

They were fantastic from start to finish. Professional demeanor, communicated with us very well throughout. They initially quoted us on the job based on my explanation and a picture but then we soon realized after they got to the job this would not work because of a brick pillar that would have been very difficult to fish wire through. They assessed the situation and gave me different options and were very fair on the price.  Cleaned up afterwards and were willing to answer all of my questions.  Thanks again to Edwin and Brian. I started using Homer last year, when I needed grounded outlets installed in my 75 year old house. He was fast friendly and efficient, and fair with his price. Earlier this year I need my wiring upgraded to 100 amps. I got 3 estimates, Homer was on the same par as the higher end, so I went with him. He brought in a crew was able to supple me with an outlet so I could continue to do work on the internet, while the power was off, they finished the job in 7 hours, cleaned up everything, and you can see that no shortcuts were taken. Yesterday I called to have a new internet ceiling fan installed, he came buy to see where I was installing it,He noticed the wiring was cracked and about 65 years old, told me what we would have to do, showed me how I could save money buy keeping the old box, and just replacing the wires. And at the same time would install my new security cameras for the house. He is upfront with his price, he provides all the parts, so I don't have to search and shop around.Highly recommend him for all electrical work.

We have used HandiCo many times for everything from painting to roof repair to electrical. They are always friendly, efficient, and do an excellent job for a great price. We will continue to call HandiCo for all our home repair needs!

Corey and his team installed an overhead light in my bedroom and did wonderfully. He provided me with a honest quote and came to provide the service promptly. I will definitely call Perfected Electric for future needs!

The first snow of the year was very heavy.  Add to that there still being leaves on trees and you have a weighted disaster just waiting to happen.  As what happened to me.  Our lovely neighbor's rather large tree branch snapped off taking with it our power lines and electric box.  It proceeded to land and break our fence.  Power lines were exposed and therefore deemed unsafe.  Electricity was to be shut off immediately by Comed.  We would need an electrician to fix said box and line.  Apparently this was happening all over the neighborhood, so electricians were in high demand even as I proceeded to call local ones recommended to me by Yelp.  No answers or not available were my results.  That is, until one referred A to Z.  They sent out a nice gentleman by the name of Barry and he was there within three hours of my calling.  He was very courteous and professional.  I'm unsure how his rate compared to others, but desperate calls call for desperate measures.  We already knew we would have to use our insurance deductible to get everything fixed so after consulting with our insurance and receiving their approval we hired them.  They were supposed to come later that afternoon, but the electrician got stuck on the South side.  We were to then spend a fabulous night before Halloween with no heat or electric until he was to come the next morning.  This wasn't their fault, but for a pretty penny I was hoping they would still arrive as soon as they could that day.  At any rate, the next morning 3 staff members arrived and got to work.  I missed my daughter's Halloween party while they were here, but so be it.  Electricity was needed.  One of their staff seemed a little strange, but the other two were sweet enough.  My power was eventually restored and Halloween went on as planned.  I really wished I didn't have to deal with A to Z, but that's what happens in an emergency.

Angel is the man! I called him around 2:30PM to have 4 light fixtures replaced in the stairwells of my house (high ceilings). I explained to him the urgency of having these replaced and he told me he could be there by 5:30 later that day. He actually showed up an hour early (4:30PM) and was done within 3 hours.

I highly recommend Angel, will be calling him back for future projects.
