Greg and Steve at Duplex where terrific and fixed my complicated electrical issues in my old home.  I was impressed with their practical approach, as they explained what was needed for life safety and what was an optional fix if I wanted to save money.  They truly understand their craft and put customers first.  They are also extremely reliable with scheduling, which can be rare in the repair and maintenance industry. AZ Electrical is an outstanding company to do business with. They came out to install a TV antenna at my home a while back.  AZ provided a fair price for the standard installation, however, the installation was anything but standard. Being an older home and far from the Chicago tv transmitters there was some hurdles to overcome. But AZ Electrical did the work for the price quoted (except for additional parts) even though they spent more than twice the time allocated for such a job. You don't find such character in company's these day.  They are definitely recommended.

We have an old two flat that we bought a few years ago and it needs some work. The lights in the back stairway were not working and Jeff fixed this for us and installed a new fixture too. He also converted 2 outlets for us that the previous owners had used as 220V outlets. Jeff was professional and pleasant to work with and is an experienced electrician.. We would highly recommend him to friends/family and will use him again in the future as we address others parts of the building that need updates. Thank you Jeff!!

I was able to get another company out to my house (Next Level Electrical) yesterday and was able to pin point the issue within 15 minutes of looking around the house and not just at the box. Turns out it all had to do with some faulty wiring and connections near the circuit box.

Dave helped fix a light fixture that didn't work and installed a breaker panel protector.  He was very professional from start to finish (a really nice guy), knew what he was doing and charged us a lot a less then other companies we got quotes from.  We will for sure use Dave again!!

How often do you need an electrician in a lifetime really, but when you do, you need someone who is reliable, punctual and honest on work you know nothing about, especially on short notice.
We were closing in on a house, and a few days before closing, the lender threw us a curb ball on 2 electrical outlets that needed to be fixed. All the other electrical companies my husband called, was either having to leave a message on a machine, or too busy and had to schedule after a few days. I found Gold Stream Electrical, through Yelp, & Mathew, the owner, took my call and after hearing our plight, rearranged his busy day schedule to accommodate us that early afternoon.
With our luck, I had my fingers crossed that this guy  would show up at all. Much to our surprise, he came right on time, addressed the issues in minutes. With time to kill, he went through the whole house giving us solid useful advice. Simple electrical fixes that can wait & be taken cared of  in the future. None of the moaning  and groaning, of how difficult and time extensive each job would take.

He even gave us a discount.

I am officially a fan, & my faith in electrical service personalities has peaked. I will definitely recommend this company to family and friends.

Highly recommend! Mike came by within an hour of me connecting with him to install an outlet for my EV. He explained the process and walked me through it step by step just so I'm aware. I was so impressed, I asked him to work on more electrical stuff around our condo and he's coming back to do those jobs.

I was very pleased with Randel Electric. Randel Electric did work for me over a holiday weekend. They showed up on time, fixed all my issues knowledgeably and quickly, and were very fairly priced.  It is hard to find dependable service professionals nowadays, but Randel was top-notch. I highly recommend.

We had a potentially large electric problem with some lines from our house to our garage.  They were old, frayed and hanging low.  It was easy to set up getting a quote from Edwin though the Yelp site.  He responded very quickly and arrived on time at the appointed time.  He diagnosed the problem and provided a quote via email.  I accepted his proposal and he let me know when he was available to come and do the work.

He arrived on time, on the scheduled day.  It was a big job which included taking down the old wiring and, digging a trench and sending all new wiring out to the detached garage.  Since the home and garage are both over 100 years old, diagnosing our wiring is like a million piece jigsaw puzzle. Edwin did a great job and everything works great!  He even did a great job to not disturb the landscaping.  You can't even tell that there was a trench dug.

I started using Homer last year, when I needed grounded outlets installed in my 75 year old house. He was fast friendly and efficient, and fair with his price. Earlier this year I need my wiring upgraded to 100 amps. I got 3 estimates, Homer was on the same par as the higher end, so I went with him. He brought in a crew was able to supple me with an outlet so I could continue to do work on the internet, while the power was off, they finished the job in 7 hours, cleaned up everything, and you can see that no shortcuts were taken. Yesterday I called to have a new internet ceiling fan installed, he came buy to see where I was installing it,He noticed the wiring was cracked and about 65 years old, told me what we would have to do, showed me how I could save money buy keeping the old box, and just replacing the wires. And at the same time would install my new security cameras for the house. He is upfront with his price, he provides all the parts, so I don't have to search and shop around.Highly recommend him for all electrical work.

My experience with HandiCo was great. I had quite a bit of stuff to do and wanted to get it all done in less than 3 hours (blinds to hand, curtain rods to put up...). At first the handyman was a little worried about completing all the tasks in the time (my budget) allowed -- but he allowed me to pitch in a bit and very effeciently and effectlively got the job done.

Just had Bob of A-Z Electric perform a bunch of work at our single family house and we are delighted with the results!

We needed a couple of ceiling fans installed, an exterior receptacle, properly wiring of our ring camera, and behind the wall work for our television.

Bob was prompt, professional, and kept me aware of parts of the job that might not turn out how I visualized. He wore a mask and boot covers while working in the house.
