Fixer did an excellent job replacing the basement front door on my house.
The door is not standard dimensions, so the job took two steps:
1. Have Fixer order the door and wait for it to come in
2. Have Fixer pick up the door from Home Depot, abd Fixer install the door.

Mike and his crew ALWAYS do an outstanding job.  I would recommend them anytime.

I found Steve and Greg through a Moms of Western Springs FB group. We had a switch go out and there was an arc of electricity so I was concerned about fixing it as soon as possible. I called Monday night and they got out Tuesday morning and fixed the problem. Their response was remarkably fast and the quality of their work was exceptional. Thanks Steve and Greg!

We were very happy with Wright Way's service. Samuel and Daniel made sure to get a walkthrough of our house and check on all the vents before starting the job. They were efficient and thorough. We are confident our house is MUCH cleaner as a result!

Called over the weekend due to dishwasher not working and requiring electrical assistance. Don said he would call back Sat afternoon- which he did. Then he said he would call Monday for a better estimate of coming by. Never called, listed immediate cost of service and work required.

I called another electrician who provided a walk through over the phone to try to trouble shoot the issue without paying. Excellent guy who then came out and charged much less.

Thanks Don for the terrible customer service! I found someone better and cheaper!

Jack and his team have done a few projects for us. Always on time and provided professional electrician services. They did all the electric throughout our basement. Gave us ideas on how to better layout the lights. They were so good we had them back out to install 240V some additional fixtures throughout our house. They even pointed out some roof damage that we had no idea we had. 100% 5 star service at an affordable rate

These guys are real PROS.   Robert and his team are nothing short of amazing.  I recently put in a pool and I needed electric and gas run from the house to the pool.  I had troubles securing a permit for the pool because I didn't really understand what the Village needed in regards to detailed information.  After a few talks with Robert and a really thorough quote of what was to be completed, I was able to get my permit.  It doesn't end there.  Once the job started, Robert was always on time and always thorough and to the point.  No fluff and mirrors... A real Pro.  Robert was able to give me guidance and good advise, all while completing every bit of what he promised to do for me.   I have had many contractors come through my home over the years.  Some great and some not.  Robert and his crew are the best of that bunch.  Top notch in every way.  100% The best.  Glad I found them.  Thanks again Robert.  My Electric/Plumber for Life!!!!!!!

Needed about five overhead lights replaced, some with bad wiring and others with very old fixtures. Jeff came out to our home, resolved some of my 'creative workarounds', offered suggestions, spotted some bad wiring, addressed said problem, and gave me an estimate for other wish list work.

Overall, Jeff was very easy to work with and I'd have no problem recommending him for this type of work.

I had an absolutely phenomenal experience with Charles and Safe Electrical.

First off, Noelle (who took my call, scheduled my estimate, confirmed my appointment, and followed up with me throughout) was great! Friendly, prompt, and professional.

I had them out to give me an estimate on installing 3 ceiling fans (2 outdoor with no existing electrical hookup, and on inside), and install 2 outdoor cameras.  On the day of the estimate, Charles came out on time and walked my property with me while talking me through the plan. He also noticed some additional things he suggested to me could be done around the house.  He gave me 3 estimates in 3 budget ranges and I chose what was best for me.

The work was completed on time, and his team has AMAZING customer service skills.  I will not ever use another electrician, and would HIGHLY recommend Charles and his crew to anyone looking for a reliable electrician with a focus on customer service.

Dave helped fix a light fixture that didn't work and installed a breaker panel protector.  He was very professional from start to finish (a really nice guy), knew what he was doing and charged us a lot a less then other companies we got quotes from.  We will for sure use Dave again!!

Matt was great - he was able to give an estimate without having to make an appointment to come to our house, showed up on time, was efficient, fairly priced, and improved/brought up to code some of the work - all without making a huge mess. I'd hire him again and would highly recommend him.

Very professional and knowledgeable tech.    After getting a couple quotes from different companies I decided to change the electric panel and  install the ev charger with Electric Castle . Mike and Bogdan explained the process and the steps they have to do in order to get the job done. Very careful around the house, clean and outstanding job overall

I was very pleased with Randel Electric. Randel Electric did work for me over a holiday weekend. They showed up on time, fixed all my issues knowledgeably and quickly, and were very fairly priced.  It is hard to find dependable service professionals nowadays, but Randel was top-notch. I highly recommend.

They were fantastic from start to finish. Professional demeanor, communicated with us very well throughout. They initially quoted us on the job based on my explanation and a picture but then we soon realized after they got to the job this would not work because of a brick pillar that would have been very difficult to fish wire through. They assessed the situation and gave me different options and were very fair on the price.  Cleaned up afterwards and were willing to answer all of my questions.  Thanks again to Edwin and Brian. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I have used Homer's Electric service for some major projects, replacing a storm-downed power line at my home, and installing new service to a rental property. He solved a conundrum at the rental property, that other electrical services couldn't, which was to construct an electric room on an open porch that had been converted from an enclosed porch. All work was done with permits and sign off by a City of Chicago Inspector. This is in response to Nessie X's negative review on this site, that claims he is operating without a City of Chicago License. His license and billing are under VT-Tech Service Inc which IS listed on the City's site with a current license thru 1/2024.

I have had Handico do several jobs in my home and i was very happy with it all, from repairing a frig, patch walls and paint, to a great referral for a furnace repair, repair light fixtures, etc. Always courteous staff, clean and fast. I will definitely continue to call them!

I reviewed Perfected Electric Services over a year ago. I called on them again a few weeks ago in August. Still a 5 star good value operation. Having some remodeling done in the bathroom so I got an estimate from the electrician recommended by the company doing most of the bathroom work. Perfected Electric Service installed our lighted mirror, bathroom fan and updated other lighting as we requested for nearly half the  price quoted by the electrician they recommended. Difficult install for the fan but once again creative problem solving by PES got it done without having to open up the ceiling.

An electrical outlet blew and burned a hole in our sofa.  A to Z made an appointment for the same afternoon (the afternoon before July 4th, came promptly, and fixed the outlet in a very short time.  Couldn't be better!

Called for a big job, replacing kitchen and bathroom wiring. He was late to the quote and no-call, no-show for the actual work. I called him to ask how far away he was and he said he forgot about it and can he come the next day instead.

I called these folks to come help me with a project when I got 3/4th in and couldn't figure it out. They were able to schedule a time the next day (!) and they showed up right on time, got done in 30 minutes, and did everything I needed. Professional and competent. Can't ask for more than that! Nino and Andrew were good guys, and clearly knew what they were doing. Much appreciated! I'll definitely be using Fixer in the future.
