They are fantastic!  It's always easy to book them.  They're always on time and fix the problem quickly.  They do a great job.  I really recommend them.

I had purchased a new washer/dryer and was stressed out when I found that my electrical wasn't up to code. I called about 5 different guys, 2 didn't call back, one told me he'd have to make huge cuts in my ceiling to do the job, and one was going to take 3 weeks before they could come back.

Duplex Electric came out quickly, explained the process that they planned to use and scheduled a return appointment in a reasonable time frame. They were so friendly! They have top marks on Angie's List, and are also the electricians for St. John of the Cross Parish.

They did a great job on what I needed. There were two working together, so they worked efficiently, and they explained everything to me in detail so that there was no confusion (much appreciated). I felt confident hiring them, and they made the process stress-free. I also referred them to my parents who also had an excellent experience. I would recommend them to anyone!

Art came by on a Friday afternoon to troubleshoot a room that had lost power. He was willing to squeeze us in last minute when other places told me they could only do Monday. He found the short and had it all fixed within an hour and charged exactly what he quoted. We will definitely be calling him if we need work done in the future.

Don has been doing all mine, and my family's electrical work for the past 20 years. He has done everything from putting in a dimmer to a new breaker box at my home. He has also designed and installed all the electrical when we opened our restaurant.

I wouldn't trust anyone else to do electrical work for me in Il. Don has saved us thousands, over the years, by working smarter and harder.

Extremely easy to schedule and work with! Matt arrived slightly early (which I appreciated!) and completed our ceiling light install in no more than an hour. I was nervous he would have to rip out drywall to set up the wiring, but thankfully he was able to wire and install the light without any wall damage. He was professional, friendly, and the cost was reasonable. I would definitely call Prolite again!

Pretty much joke. Had a service guy out to try to fix a furnace issue. He was going around for at least two hours, inside outside on the phone asking somebody questions. His boss or manager calls later and says that they will call me back which I never received a callback. Had a family member come out later that night, quite a distance drive but instantly he knew what the issue was and he put a new starter on the fan clean everything up and everything was perfect. Not issue with this company not knowing how to fix the problem more of not communicating back after promising to

I replaced many outlets in the house and it turned out that I installed something wrong. As the result, some lights and outlets stopped working. I was really worried that the problem may cause danger. I called around and finally got Jeff to help me immediately. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. He helped me identify and fix the problems right away. In addition, he helped me examine all the outlets that I replaced and fixed some problems there. Finally, he helped me replaced two ceiling lights, two outside wall lights, one CGFI outlet, and one fire alarm. He is very patient and nice to work with. He helped me with many tasks beautifully.

Everything went well. I am very happy with his work and attitude. I would definitely call him again if I need help with electricity in the house.

We had Safe Electrical Service out to do some upgrades recently.  We were very pleased with the service we received. We wanted several things done but were unsure about which to do first. Charles broke down the work into three proposals which made it easier for us to decide, based on our budget and needs. He also helped identify some safety issues with the current wiring and load panel, which we had him correct.  His crew are all very professional and highly skilled. They did an amazing job installing recessed LED ceiling lights as well as extra outlets, dimmers, the circuit breaker panel, and even helped troubleshoot an issue we had with our rec room wiring. Phenomenal, Fair, Quick, Knowledgeable, and Professional

Like most people, I don't like to have my time wasted. When our family electrician wouldn't return my calls, I found Dave online and decided to give him a call based on the positive Yelp reviews.

He responded quickly, had great availability, and was out right away. He walked me through exactly what he was doing, got it knocked out quickly, and charged an extremely reasonable price. Dave was also personable, knowledgeable, and professional -- The kind of person you want to do business with and trust.

As soon as Dave left we took down the old electrician's number from our breaker box and put his business card up there instead; as I know who we're going to call for future electrical needs.

Fantastic service! Matt really knows his stuff. He figured out a complex problem very quickly, resolved it, and I could not be more pleased.

Had a great experience with Randal Electric. I'm selling my condos in Chicago and some very minor electrical work popped up on the home inspection report. I called a few different electricians on Yelp in the area and a lot hung up on me because my request was too small for them to set an appointment. I communicated with Randy what I needed to be done and he was confident that it would be a quick and easy fix, plus he'd be able to put me down for an appointment the next morning. Eddie was my electrician who was right on time this morning. He was polite and professional and after he was finished with the breaker he even asked if he could review the home inspection report to make sure everything needing an electricians attention was covered. I appreciate honest businesses in home services. While searching for electricians I ran across CR Electric and they tried to upsell me on an entire new panel a 4-6 hour job that would have been unnecessary and over the top. Eddie was able to make the breaker safe and eliminate the double tap breaker installed by a 10+ year old alarm system company that I never used in 7 years of owning the property. I'm glad I called Randal Electric and if I need electricians for the next 4 condos about to go on the market I know who I'll be calling!

Edwin is responsive, friendly, and solved our electrical issue promptly. He also installed electric to our deck. Highly recommend.

I've used Homer on a couple different occasions to update wiring in an old building. He is extremely responsive, always on time, and you can tell he knows what he's doing. We've been very happy with his work and will use him again in the future.

I could not be happier with HandiCo's work.  Because of a miscommunication from another company we were working with, we need to complete a lot of work on our large walk-in closet (10x10) within a few days.  HandiCo was able to quickly re-arrange their schedule and accommodate our 3.5day project.

I found all their employees to be very professional and courteous.  I felt very comfortable leaving them alone in my home while I was at work.  They called whenever a decision needed to be made or if anything was slightly different than planned.  They also did very good work.  Our room looks amazing!

That being said, why 4 stars?  They are pretty expensive...I did feel like I was being ripped off a bit.  However, given the urgency, I didn't really have time to try to find another quote.

Corey and his team installed an overhead light in my bedroom and did wonderfully. He provided me with a honest quote and came to provide the service promptly. I will definitely call Perfected Electric for future needs!

The first snow of the year was very heavy.  Add to that there still being leaves on trees and you have a weighted disaster just waiting to happen.  As what happened to me.  Our lovely neighbor's rather large tree branch snapped off taking with it our power lines and electric box.  It proceeded to land and break our fence.  Power lines were exposed and therefore deemed unsafe.  Electricity was to be shut off immediately by Comed.  We would need an electrician to fix said box and line.  Apparently this was happening all over the neighborhood, so electricians were in high demand even as I proceeded to call local ones recommended to me by Yelp.  No answers or not available were my results.  That is, until one referred A to Z.  They sent out a nice gentleman by the name of Barry and he was there within three hours of my calling.  He was very courteous and professional.  I'm unsure how his rate compared to others, but desperate calls call for desperate measures.  We already knew we would have to use our insurance deductible to get everything fixed so after consulting with our insurance and receiving their approval we hired them.  They were supposed to come later that afternoon, but the electrician got stuck on the South side.  We were to then spend a fabulous night before Halloween with no heat or electric until he was to come the next morning.  This wasn't their fault, but for a pretty penny I was hoping they would still arrive as soon as they could that day.  At any rate, the next morning 3 staff members arrived and got to work.  I missed my daughter's Halloween party while they were here, but so be it.  Electricity was needed.  One of their staff seemed a little strange, but the other two were sweet enough.  My power was eventually restored and Halloween went on as planned.  I really wished I didn't have to deal with A to Z, but that's what happens in an emergency.

Angel, did a great job.. Was polite, explain work and pricing.. I will definitely use his sevices again...

We contacted them to fix a lighting issue in our office and it was done quickly and professionally. No back and forth or upselling on products or services. Will definitely be using Fixer again.
