Best Electricians in Illinois

Rescheduled multiple times. Showed up and pretty much just guessed what might be wrong without really a conclusive answer. Would not recommend for electrical. Definitely not worth a $120 for somebody walking through all the steps I had already done. Save your money for professionals.

With Duplex it's like having a family member helping you. These two brothers are seasoned electricians who work fast, do great work and clean up everything before they leave. Very friendly and outgoing guys who I trust entirely to be in my home. Especially if you have an older home these guys have the experience and skills to solve any electrical problem.

I highly recommend Art for all your electrical needs.  His quick response, professionalism and fair prices make him my new number one.  Besides being extremely knowledgeable, knowing that he will show up on time and working efficiently to keep the price down, I can't think of a single reason to use anyone else.

Called Donatello Electric about installing a flood/security light over my garage door. They had to run a new power source since there was no fixture there before. Don returned my call promptly and we set a date to have the work done. he was able to give me a ballpark estimate without coming out to the house. (I did send him photos of the garage so he had a good idea) He sent Doug out to do the work, arrived as scheduled, and did the job perfectly, I asked Doug many questions about the process and he answered all of them with out me felling like I was bothering him while he worked. The job turned out better then  I thought as Doug was able to run the conduit with it being visible. Final cost was slightly under estimate.  Whatever electrical job I have in the future, Don will be my first call.

Jack and his crew have done a number of jobs at my house (added a mini-split line and took care of some home inspection issues).  Pricing is very competitive and the work has been excellent.  Highly recommend.

After a little scheduling hiccup, Rob stopped by and fixed our leaking toilet for no fee! Happy to have found this company, which places such a high value on customer satisfaction! Will definitely call on them again.

Jeff was prompt and courteous. Jeff is now my go-to electrician. I would highly recommend him and would use him over and over again.

Spoke to Charles and though he didn't visit, he advised that I call my supplier ComEd and have them check their service before he comes out. He mentioned that my supplier will come out free of charge to conduct a check.
He was considerate in trying to save me money. As he said, they came by an hour later and checked and discovered the problem was on their end as he predicted. The meter was displaying an error.

I am a general contractor and use Dave for all my electrical needs.  He is fairly priced, very knowledgeable at his trade and shows up when he says he will.  Dave is a diamond in the rough when it comes to contractors, some have egos, some are premadannas, some are lazy, some are overpriced.  It is hard to find a good guy, so when you do, you keep him around.  And that is what we do here at Chicagoland Remodeling Design & Build.

Matt is a pro; on time, efficient, reasonable, professional.  He performed several mid-size jobs for us with no fuss or secondary labor; highly recommended.

Had a great experience with Randal Electric. I'm selling my condos in Chicago and some very minor electrical work popped up on the home inspection report. I called a few different electricians on Yelp in the area and a lot hung up on me because my request was too small for them to set an appointment. I communicated with Randy what I needed to be done and he was confident that it would be a quick and easy fix, plus he'd be able to put me down for an appointment the next morning. Eddie was my electrician who was right on time this morning. He was polite and professional and after he was finished with the breaker he even asked if he could review the home inspection report to make sure everything needing an electricians attention was covered. I appreciate honest businesses in home services. While searching for electricians I ran across CR Electric and they tried to upsell me on an entire new panel a 4-6 hour job that would have been unnecessary and over the top. Eddie was able to make the breaker safe and eliminate the double tap breaker installed by a 10+ year old alarm system company that I never used in 7 years of owning the property. I'm glad I called Randal Electric and if I need electricians for the next 4 condos about to go on the market I know who I'll be calling!

Edwin is responsive, friendly, and solved our electrical issue promptly. He also installed electric to our deck. Highly recommend.

I have used Homer's Electric service for some major projects, replacing a storm-downed power line at my home, and installing new service to a rental property. He solved a conundrum at the rental property, that other electrical services couldn't, which was to construct an electric room on an open porch that had been converted from an enclosed porch. All work was done with permits and sign off by a City of Chicago Inspector. This is in response to Nessie X's negative review on this site, that claims he is operating without a City of Chicago License. His license and billing are under VT-Tech Service Inc which IS listed on the City's site with a current license thru 1/2024.

They are pretty busy, but they did everything we asked and our home sold.

Corey and his team installed an overhead light in my bedroom and did wonderfully. He provided me with a honest quote and came to provide the service promptly. I will definitely call Perfected Electric for future needs!

I would not recommend this company. When they replaced the breaker box they had to remove wood paneling on the wall, which was fine - they put it back. But in doing the work they damaged the tiles at the bottom, and then refused to take responsibility. They said they were broken before they began work and wouldn't fix it. We have proof they were not broken as our house had detailed photos and videos taken right before that to be put on the market.
The only positive is that they were the only electricians able to get the work done quickly. But I still wouldn't hire them again.

Called them on Thursday and they were able to show up the following day to change out my outlets. Cheap prices, priceless work. Clean and efficient. Great service and would definitely recommend Gomez Electrical.

Water damage from a refrigerator installation. Please do not use this company!! This company tried to install a water line to my refrigerator but they didn't check to make sure the line didn't leak and it cause water to leak into my basement. This company form of communication is by texting only In which is unprofessional. This company finally send someone back to my home to look and take pictures of the damage 2 weeks later. They never apologize for the damage but charge me to fix the damage they did?
