Best Electricians in Illinois
Had the line with all the power wires leading to my house ripped off during a storm. Com Ed would not turn my power back on till I had an electrition repair the poll contecting to my house. After another company gave me the run around - I had to get someone there that day- Patrick was able to get two guys to my house two hours after calling him. They fixed the problem extremely fast and for half the price of the other company. Very reliable and reasonably prices!

We had an obsolete circuit breaker that needed replacing and the service was quick, convenient and priced properly. Got the job done in 3-4 hours to replace the breaker and paneling. Technician came on short notice and was able to get us back power and came back the next day to replace everything. Quality work, would recommend.

We needed to have a 52-inch fan installed on a 17-foot ceiling. I called 5 electricians that had been recommended by the place from where we purchased the fan (Menards). Three of the 5 quoted prices $400 and up. One wouldn't take the job because he didn't have ladders tall enough. But Jeff Schimanski charged significantly less than the others. He took the old fan down and installed the new one, and he did a great job. I highly recommend Jeff!

He was a great electrician! He is no longer in business but I sure wish he were. I miss this business!

I've used BUE in the past, since they did such an amazing job first the first time using them, I decided to use them for my next re-model and this time it was for a heated floor system. Sammy was the technician that installed the wiring, he made sure the heated system was working correctly and worked along side my contractor to make sure all the heated components, sensors and thermostat were all in working order before my contractor got the go ahead to finish the floors. I also had 6in can lighting w/a dimmer switch installed in my bedroom. Sammy suggested that it would be much brighter than the 4in I was going to use. He measured the room, removed some dry wall, installed the lights in less than hour. After that was done he attached the drywall back to be repaired.
Prices are exceptionally reasonable! Thank you BUE electric for another job well done!

Amazing service. From quoting to delivery in under a week. They completed the work and cleaned up very well, even provided some options for no additional cost to help earn my business. Other quotes were almost twice as much. I would recommend these guys to anyone and will use again.

I had Alex's team complete 4 projects. Two were done satisfactorily, but I could have done the other two MUCH better by myself. Check out the pics, especially the wall that they patched and painted. It's really unbelievable that they were going to leave it that way. I finally got them to put a new skim coat on top of the old one to try to smooth it out, but I'm not going to pay for these guys to come back to resand and repaint. I've decided to hire a professional instead. It will be worth it to not deal with Swanson's ever again.

Great experience start to finish. Owner Bob Carlson is as professional and nice a guy as you will find as are all the young men who work for him. Efficient, high quality, on-time, reasonably priced work. Bob will be my go-to electrician forever.

I got Mr Dragovic's company name and number along with a few other referrals from Menards. I'm ery glad I picked him.
A small metal ruler accidentally fell onto the power strip surge protector just as I was unplugging my cell charger in the wee hours of the morning. Sparks flew out of the surge protector and the metal ruler melted in 2 places. The surge protector had burn marks too.
I was thankful I wasnt injured. My power went off everywhere. I was really scared and the next day had a neighbor fiddle around with the circuit breaker. They couldn't figure it out.
I had no idea what was damaged or how bad the problem was going to be. I was worried about the state of my expensive TV and my electric recliner chair...
Mr. Dragovic answered my phone call right away. He actual tried to help me over the phone to see if I could fix my own circuit breaker problem and to save me the cost of the service call.
Some people I think may not have tried to help me on the phone.
I was so upset and worried at that moment I just wanted him to come over.
He made it to my place in less than 30 minutes. I was surprised he was able to come over pretty quickly the same day, late monday afternoon.
I was thinking I would have to wait until the next day to get any service!
He was wore a mask. He was very pleasant, personable and professional- as well as knowledgable.
He was right, there was a little sequence that needed to be performed in a certain way in the circuit breaker and it was not obvious. It was a little tricky.
(Perhaps if I had been calmer and in a better state of mind, he might have been able to help me on the phone. I think it is commendable that he wanted to try to help me without having a service call!)
He looked at the circuit box and got the power on right away, very quickly. He showed me exactly what to do if it ever happened again.
He didnt try to replace anything that didnt need repairing just to take advantage of the situation. (Being female and pretty unfamiliar with electric work he could have replaced the whole circuit breaker and charged me whatever...
I was prepared for the worst...)
He was a good guy and was very honest.
I will definitely use his services if I need an electrician for anything in the future.
It was refreshing to have a service person of any type who was honest and caring.
I highly recommend you give him a try.

I highly recommend Corb Electric. Our job was INCREDIBLY well done. Victor and Omar (hope I spelled that right!) ran new electric and hard wired sconces over our fireplace including a new on/off switch for them (and expertly rewired my antique sconces), as well as added another on/off switch elsewhere for additional lighting. They were prompt, neat, clean, reasonably priced and did an incredible job at being minimally invasive to our existing plaster and walls.
Anyone on the North Shore looking for a great electrician... it's Corb.

I had two ceiling fans that needed to go up asap. I inadvertently picked two fans that weren't simply the standard. Sebastian was great! He arrived on time and had both fans up in the time discussed. They look amazing! I would definitely reach out to him again for other tasks.

Ron and his assistant did really good job. He installed four pendant lights and chandelier. They got covers to cover area where they worked, which was really good. They kept all areas clean after finishing work. Quotes were good as compared to others. I would definitely recommend them.

Incredible and thoughtful service. I was unsure of the parts that might be needed to complete my spa install before delivery and they ordered everything just in case it was needed because there is a shortage and they were concerned about not being able to get them. They were prompt and diligent and made sure I knew everything I needed to know before they left. Would highly recommend them for any electrical service and they will always be welcome in my home.
