We hired Sims and Sons to install an additional electrical outlet and they did a fantastic job. Work was done in one day. We later had another issue when one of our painters (from another company) accidentally damaged the internal wiring. When I reached out to Darrell, they knew exactly how to fix the problem and promptly came in and fixed. They are true experts in their trade and I will definitely go back to them for all of our electrical needs.

Joe was fantastic. He corrected on my miswired pantry lights, installed can lights in the kitchen, and rewired the ceiling fan as well. Moving the switches to a new wall he made look so easy. He did this all in one day! My mother came in and said, the lights look like they have always been there. My son came in and said, Where's the dust and mess? Joe also has a cover for his drill that he created himself to eliminate the dust offspray. AAAA++++ professional and a delight to talk with. Will use again and recommend undoubtedly. Go with joe!

First of all, I rarely write reviews but I was so impressed I felt the need to write this one.  I needed a light switch replaced in my kitchen.  Chris responded quickly with a very fair estimate yesterday and was able to schedule an appointment for today.  Chris is professional, courteous, efficient and very reasonable with his charges.  I have already discussed having him replace some light fixtures in my house.  I highly recommend ALC Electric!

We were having issues with the outlets on one wall going dead and Greenline was able to diagnose the issue quickly and get it fixed. They were also able to assess a standing desk (powered) that had suddenly stopped working and helped us get in contact with the manufacturer to submit a warranty claim on the internal motor components.

We are in the process of tearing down a house we recently purchased, and hired Rogelio at Alex Electrical to cut the main electrical line from the pole to the house, as well as remove the cable lines, the electric meter, and the electric box in the house. Rogelio was extremely knowledgeable, very responsive, professional, and got the job done in less time than the estimate. Had an awesome experience with Jake. I got into some trouble trying to swap out a light fixture and created a bit of a wiring mess for myself that he was able to skillfully clean up. He was able to go pop out and buy a replacement light fixture that would fit my junction box and install that too. While he was at my house he added a plug to a closet that we had been wanting installed since we moved in. Super efficient work, very pleasant interactions, reasonable pricing- I will definitely be calling Jake up again for future work.

There is a whole story to my rating, but I don't feel like writing it. Essentially the tech came and installed a ceiling fan, gave a quote of hours needed for some other jobs, but later the company recanted on the quote by the tech. Maybe a miscommunication, but for sure annoying.

I had a problem that two other local electric companies couldn't fix - pulling wire up to a second floor laundry to turn a 20 amp outlet into a 30 amp outlet.  Well, one of them wanted to charge a small fortune to attempt it, and another said he didn't think it could be done.  Carlos came out with a helper, looked things over, and had me fixed up the same day.  He stopped by later with two cover plates to choose from, which he didn't even have to do, in my opinion.  Was super professional and friendly the whole time.  And the price I paid was reasonable.  

So it's not like I hope I have future electrical problems or anything, but if I do I'm never calling anyone else as long as I live in River Forest.

A++ in all aspects. I had great pleasure to hire Tom's company for our house project. The project included multiple rooms. Complete Bath and kitchen electrical renovation. Two bathrooms received outlets, switches, can lights and fans. The kitchen received  new can lights and outlets. Living room got new can lights. We also added wired smoke detectors throughout the house. Tom was a total professional when he came in for the estimate. Everything was explained so that there were no surprises any time during the project and he made sure that we understood the work that was going to take place. Prices were very competitive, and work was done in the time promised. Tom made sure that everything was done right, to code and left everything clean and spotless. I would definitely hire again. Highly recommended.

Very responsive and responsible. Alex tried to help us trouble shoot over the phone to save us money. When that didn't work he showed up promptly, diagnosed the issue, and fixed the bad breaker.

Issue with fixer is that schedulers and concierge have no idea how long tasks take. My fixer scheduled for 3:30 came at 7:00.  They cannot actually give you an accurate time.

Unfortunately the problem with smoke detector was not fixed. Simple issue of battery replacement was too high to reach. He left and one hour later beeping started again. Disappointing experience. So after $94, I have to hire an actual electrician.
