I needed a couple things done. I had a GFI that kept breaking. AC/DC was prompt and replaced the GFI with a heavy duty one and voila no problems since!!

Additionally I wanted a smart doorbell installed and they did a fantastic job snaking the low voltage wire to get the electricity to the doorbell so you can't see it!!

I'm very pleased on both jobs!!

Most helpful and courteous on phone when scheduling appointment.  Took only two days for electrician David to come out.  He was prompt, courteous and repaired problems within less than an hour.  Prices reasonable for electrician and no trip charge.

Response prompt. I took a chance as I had not used this handyman before but I needed my yard light post fixture repaired. My appointment was for 930, I left the fixture between my storm door and house door just in case i didn't get back in time from dropping off my kids to school. I literally made it back home at about 940 and the post fixture was already repaired and Ted and his son were waiting in the van. I was impressed! I would use this company again for sure

Master bedroom lights/outlets weren't working so Greenline came out within a hour on a Friday night to help us out! Fixed the problem quickly for a great price. Had so many Electrition's flake/keep rescheduling but Greenline was honest and kept their word. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had quotes from 5 different electrician from Chicagoland for service upgrade, meter replacement, panel replacement, and additional conduits/outlets for my two unit apt building in Lincoln sq. Highlights was by far the most reasonably priced, friendly and professional. I needed upgrade from 100amp to 200 on my 2 unit building, 3 new panel boxes with circuit breakers, including one new public box, new conduits and provide 240v for dryers in two units.  Boz - the owner/ assessed the situation with a ton of expertise and clearly identified what needed to be done, which I did not see from other electricians we got quotes from. Boz was friendly, understanding and knowledgeable about chicago's codes/guidlines and knew exactly what we needed. He helped us understand the complexity of our needs/situation by explaining in terms that we understand.

Francisco - the lead electrician and his group went above and beyond on my 108 year old building: they added new wiring, 2 new circuit breakers, replaced outlets, installed led lights for the basement, grounded 8 wall sockets...for no extra charge. They were respectful of our living space by wearing masks and worked around my work schedule/meetings so that I wouldnt lose power at those times.

After the job was done, they went around and patched the major holes that had to be made for new wires. They also did a great job cleaning after themselves.

As someone who is paranoid about getting things right the first time, i hgihly recommend Highlights Chicago. They have done an outstanding job - better than what i've imagined.

After attempting to install a new light fixture myself I ran into an electrical road block.  Jose of Tweaks & Finishes responded promptly to my request for an estimate, and scheduled the service call for the same day!  Jose, accompanied by Rodney arrived on time, and treated me and my home with such care and respect.  Jose was extremely knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed my electrical problem-explaining the issue(s) found along the way.  A quick replacement of a burnt out dimmer switch restored my lighting, and mended the mess I created. Jose and Rodney also cleaned up the wires behind my many wall switches which they found to be a safety hazard, and installed my new ceiling light-all at a reasonable price within my budget.  Both gentlemen were kind, professional, and mindful-cleaning up after any small mess that was made.  I am thankful to have found Tweaks & Finishes, I am looking forward to using them again in the future for a painting project. We have used Jake over the years for all of our electrical needs. He is absolutely amazing and always works incredibly hard and fast. If you are looking for surround sound, new canned lighting, rewiring or all of the above, he is 100% the man for the job!

Kudos for fast, friendly, and great service. I needed some electric work done with a short window to get it finished. The reply to my text was quick. Where to start....  Ted is a true professional, we received the quote promptly and were able to schedule an appointment on the spot. Carlos showed up exactly at 9am and dove right in. Extremely friendly guy who knows his stuff. Local guy who lives in the OP area most of his life. Not only did he do the job assigned perfectly, he fixed two of my doors!!! We are now continually feeding them more jobs as I type this. Highly recommended!

Edit: Carlos came back to label the fuse box today. He was searching for some wires that were not contacted. He found two large gaps where my current contractor left where the new rooms met the main house. If he didn't find these I would be in a world of hurt come the next storm! At this point, I can not recommend high enough!

Could not recommend a better electrician!

I had a desire to install ceiling recessed lights and ceiling fans in a few rooms for some time. After doing some research on Yelp, I found Tom and gave him a call. We were able to set up a in-person consultation soon after, where he walked me through the options for recessed LED lights (4in vs 6in) and spacing of said lights. We agreed on an overall plan and start date.

During the project, Tom and his men were timely, clean, and very efficient in their work. They carefully calculated and marked out the placement of the lights and fan on the ceiling in each room for my approval before starting to cut into the drywall. In the end, they had to cut into a surprisingly small amount of the drywall to put everything together. In the two places in each room that they did have to open up the wall, they carefully replaced the drywall, saving me from having to make any large patches before repainting.

I wanted to use a particular smart dimming switch (Brilliant), but it was backordered and did not arrive in time. Tom hooked up everything using temporary switches and came back later to finish the job once they arrived.

Overall, I would definitely use Tom and his men again! I have a couple other projects around the house I've been thinking of (electric car charger, exterior light, replacing track lighting with more recessed lights, etc.) and plan to use Tom for these projects in the future!

Ted changed out fixtures throughout our house, including a difficult chandelier in our dining room. He also fixed a hot outlet and looked at our garage electrical. He was on time, fairly priced, and did great work. We'll be using him again.

Alex did a great job replacing a broken switch. He responded quickly to my initial request and was fast in communicating throughout the scheduling process. We are very happy with the quality of work.
We'll likely have to have most of our old wiring replaced and are looking forward to have Alex and his team back. Seems to be a newer company, and I'm glad we took a chance on them.

They went above and beyond - they did a good job - I will hire them again - much appreciated
