I really loved the work this company did. They were very smart, able to solve problems that came up, and did all the work perfectly. I love the way my place looks because of their expert installation. I will 100% be using them again.

Sunday emergency call out for electrical problem (no electric service at all).  Very prompt, identified the problem and fixed it quickly.  Could not ask for better service.

Called T&D to install motion lights for our dark walkway.  Rodrigo was on time, reviewed the projects and provided information and also suggested the type of device to install that would provide the most light.  We purchased the devices, called T&D and specifically requested that Rodrigo return.  He returned this morning on time and completed the job.  He was so nice and efficient.  Highly recommend T&D and Rodrigo!

I had Ted out to my house in La Grange Park to troubleshoot a couple of outlets that had stopped working.  I am somewhat technical myself, and was able to diagnose the problem, but not locate it.  That's when I texted Ted.  Yes, you can text him directly.  I don't know about you, but I thought that was a great feature; very convenient! So anyway, Ted came out on Monday (I'd originally reached out to him on a Sunday, and while he doesn't do Sunday housecalls (totally understandable) he DID respond to me on Sunday right away, and we set up a time for the next day.  He arrived on time, and I had told him what I had done to investigate (I'd determined that it was a broken neutral somewhere in the conduit feeding these two kitchen outlets, but I couldn't find the break).  He was patient and helpful as I was explaining all of this, and agreed with my assessment.  Since I was curious, I watched him while he worked, and he explained what he was doing the whole time, because he knew I was interested.  While we were discussing this, we also talked about some other improvements that we could make to the electrical at my house (balancing circuits between the two hot feeds coming into my house, and stuck around while I played with different pieces of equipment (I have a lot of computers ;p ) to see how we could save on my power bills.  After we did that, I noticed that my power bills have decreased by about 10%!  He also was willing to stick around and install an motion-sensing light switch that I had been unable to get to work properly.  All of this extra stuff was not discussed ahead of time, but he was willing to take the extra time to help me out.  I have found my electrician for all my future needs.  Ted is great, you should call (or text!) him today!

So I just purchased a new home and having some circuit breaker issues. Found Chris on Yelp very nice guy. Very responsive. Came right out, Fix the issue under 15 minutes so I will definitely be calling him back out to finish the work, Definitely give Chris a call or give him a chance if you are having any type of issues with circuit breakers or electrical issues definitely recommend this business. Esteban was on time, very professional and did a great job in installing our new living room light fixture. Job required him to move and center a new box on our sloped/vaulted ceilings. I've had them out twice to install fixtures. Both gentleman who came out were awesome, knew what they were doing, kind and respectful. They're a little on the pricier side so if you're concerned about that talk with them and get a cost up front and tell them your budget.

To me, it's all about who is in your home when they come to do the job, and the two gentleman Milos ( may have spelling wrong) and Elvisr were fantastic. On top of that they followed all indoor safety protocols and masks the whole time, and I never felt uneasy being at home whilst they were here working.

Rogelio did a good job on our building. Repaired some outlets, in the apartment, garage, and outside of the building. He shared photos of his progress. We talk over the phone to clarify details and got a quote on the spot for additional work that was necessary and was finished the same day after getting the parts needed.
He is also bilingual, what helps communicating easier for a larger population group.
All good overall.

I reached out for some quotes on replacing an outdoor outlet on Sunday- not only was Jose super responsive, he got me scheduled for the next day! He quoted me a price that he stuck to. He and his partner Rodney are friendly, courteous, conscientious and got the job done in under 30 minutes. They were respectful of my time which I appreciate. I'm happy to have this company in my phone for any future jobs. Highly recommend!!

Jake came to fix an electrical issue on our rooftop. He was able to quickly identify the problem and address it. He was very friendly and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend!

Blacklite Electric is awesome! We have called on Neville and his experienced team to install our cieling fan, hang a drop light and fix the electric wiring in our living room. I had 3 people come out for discussions on our project and Tom came up with great recommendations for outdoor installation of lights and fixed some landscaping spotlights. Note: I have put the same below review on Google a week back, they responded in the comments that they will review my appointments but no one has reached out to me so far to understand why they provided such a bad service. Probably this is their business model, if they do a bad job then just ignore that customer and their review and just move on.
I have have used fixer in two of my houses and had the same issue with both these places
1. At one house I wanted sink faucet to be replaced.
2. At another house wanted deadbolt to be replaced.

Let
me tell each case in detail
1. At place 1 kitchen faucet was leaking and the issue was with the facuet pipe wire, and the fixer went and brought a replacement, while keeping the shopping clock run. Guess what, he brought a wrong pipe, and he could not fix it. And I was charged the whole amount for 1 hour of work plus shopping time, while the issue was not fixed. While I passed it off and left without complaining.
2. I booked them again for my another house to replace deadbolts in my door. Guess what, the fixer brought the wrong product and spent lot of time fixing that wrong deadbolt on my door, while I was charged for the time and also for shopping. Since he could not fix it, he came the next day with another fixer and fixed it. Again I was charged for the next days hourly effort.

This time I complained because it costed me almost 400$ (excluding the cost of the deadbolts) to get the deadbolts replaced.
I have never had such expensive deadbolt replacements in my life, I had to argue with them to get the price reduced, and they gave me a paltry 25$ to 35$ discount.

Pathetic way to bleed customers money. I would not recommend fixer to anyone. And BEWARE new/existing customers, if they bring wrong products, talk to them to cancel your entire charge, if not you will end up paying 400$ instead of 139$.
