Great customer service!  From the time I made the initial call Marianne very friendly and helpful.  She set up an appointment for Marcus to give me a proposal.  Marcus explained the work that would be done.  Rodrigo and Christian completed the job cleaned up and asked if everything was done to my satisfaction.  Do not hesitate to call!  The communication from start to finish was outstanding.  They sure know that customer service goods a long way!

Ted and his son are timely, patient and respectful.  I had purchased a wireless door bell that wasn't compatible but try they did to get it right, they will be kindly coming  back to put in my new purchase.  So glad I finally found an electrician that I can call on for any future electrical work.  I highly recommend Honey Do Home Electrical.

Joe was responsive, on time, fixed the problem quickly and for a fair price. Can't ask for more than that. When he left I was confident the job had been done correctly.

So I just purchased a new home and having some circuit breaker issues. Found Chris on Yelp very nice guy. Very responsive. Came right out, Fix the issue under 15 minutes so I will definitely be calling him back out to finish the work, Definitely give Chris a call or give him a chance if you are having any type of issues with circuit breakers or electrical issues definitely recommend this business. All around great first time experience. I called on a cold snowy night and the owner had someone (Leeroy) out to me within a couple of hours. Leeroy was great, and fixed my issue with my outdoor GFCI outlet almost instantly. So thankful to have a great electrician in my phonebook now!

I had a malfunctioning outdoor light fixture.  Ryan came the same day as my call, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it quickly.  He was very friendly and we had a nice chat about life as he worked.  He is a breath of fresh air in a world where dealing with contractors is generally pretty darn irritating.

I can't even begin to tell you how thrilled I am with the service I received from Highlights Chicago.  First of all, I was referred to Highlights Chicago by Jeanette at Skyline Electric and am so thankful for her recommendation (my address was outside of their service area).  Here's my story.  I was having issues with my Kenmore washer which was part of a stackable laundry unit.  I called Sears repair on 4/28/20.  I made an appointment for the next day.  On 4/29/20 the technician that arrived determined that the unit needed a new Laundry Center Dryer Electronic Control Board and a Laundry Center Water Valve Assembly.  He ordered the parts to be shipped to my address and scheduled another appointment for 5/18 telling me if I received the parts before then I could make an appointment for an earlier time.  The parts had not arrived by 5/18 and since I couldn't get a satisfactory explanation from Sears about when I could expect to receive them, I cancelled my appointment.  I then called Chicago Appliance Company.  I was able to get an appointment for the next day.  The repairman told me that it could be one of three different issues causing the problem.  He came back on three separate occasions each time switching out different parts.  Nothing worked.  I ended up purchasing a new GE stackable laundry unit from Cole's.  BTW - The Kenmore unit was only 5 years old.  The new unit was installed on 5/28.  On 5/29 I tried to do a load of laundry and the washer wasn't performing correctly.  I called Cole's and they sent over the guy who installed the unit.  He told me that the problem was probably with the electrical outlet.  I got a recommendation from Cole's for an electrician who came out the next day and switched out the outlet.  That seemed to fix the problem until 7/11 when my washer wouldn't drain, rinse, or spin.  I made an appointment with GE Appliance Repair but the earliest that they could come was 7/21.  I got to thinking about the problem and wondered if it could be something else with the electrical system.  I called Highlights Chicago this morning at 7:00 a.m.  I talked to Boz.  I explained the problem and was able to make an appointment for today between 8:30-9:00.  Jimmy and Delvin arrived at 8:30.  I explained the situation and it didn't take long for them to locate the problem.  It was a worn circuit breaker in the electrical panel.  Needless to say, I was so relieved that someone finally figured out what was wrong.  Jimmy explained everything to me in detail.  He and Delvin are the best servicemen I've ever encountered.  I highly recommend Highlights Chicago and Jimmy and Delvin.  Thanks guys!   You're the best!

Rogelio did a good job on our building. Repaired some outlets, in the apartment, garage, and outside of the building. He shared photos of his progress. We talk over the phone to clarify details and got a quote on the spot for additional work that was necessary and was finished the same day after getting the parts needed.
He is also bilingual, what helps communicating easier for a larger population group.
All good overall.

Would highly recommend. These guys worked around our schedule to get an emergency job done and handle a couple other fixes around our house. Will definitely be calling Tweaks & Finishes again in the future!

Needed a Tesla wall charger installed in our garage.  Jake showed up on time and offered a few different options with full explanation of each.

Once we agreed on scope and price he went to work.  You could tell he has installed a ton of these.   Job was completed in a timely manner and he left the area cleaner than when he started.  

Charger has been used daily for a few months now without issue.  Would recommend.

I needed some kitchen ceiling lights replaced & contacted this company based on Yelp reviews. Everything was done thru text messages which was fine, I got prompt replies from Neville as well as good recommendations what might be the best lights. So far, so good. Then, while initially they scheduled between 9-11 AM, it became noon, then 1 PM then finally 3 PM with 2 persons. All on the day of work. Now I understand unforeseen problems occur, but we all are busy and reliability is very important to me, & I felt they weren't very responsive to the inconvenience it may cause. Anyway when the electricians finally came, they seemed somewhat disorganized & it took a bit longer than I expected. The work has been done well, I like the lights, but I do feel disappointed in the inadequate way the delay was handled.

We turned to Kinetic Energy a couple years ago on the recommendation of a neighbor, after another electrician did some inadequate work.  They're now the only electricians we'll work with.  They have installed lights and ceiling fans and wired our 1914 house for ethernet.  

Recently we had a couple scary incidents with the old cloth-covered wires... what seemed like shorts in two different spots in the house.  They showed up same-day to fix everything, and took extra time to explain to us what had happened.  It's a relief to know we're safe in our house!

Honest, transparent about costs, and delivered excellent work on time for installing an electric car charger. He looked up specs on the car company website, going the extra mile to ensure he did the best work.

This was my 3rd time using fixer and they have yet to let me down! They are always on time, professional, efficient, and customer friendly.
