AC/DC provided quick response and quality work. He was honest when unable to finish the job but returned soon thereafter and finished a good job.

Sunday emergency call out for electrical problem (no electric service at all).  Very prompt, identified the problem and fixed it quickly.  Could not ask for better service.

This is a truly great electrical team with strong customer service and attention to detail. From setting up the appointment to arrival to finishing ALL of the somewhat random electrical projects I had to address, T&D was great. They were upfront with pricing which was fair and appropriate. Nice folks, willing to help you get your electrical projects done.  I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

This company was one of the few that responded to my inquiries, and kept up a dialog when I asked questions via email. I chose him because his price was reasonable and there were no hidden or extra charges. Ted and his son showed up right on time, actually a little early, which was great!Since I wasn't sure what the problem was, they came well equipped to do the job.  It was a faulty fixture and he had it replaced in less than half an hour. Both he and his son were very polite and I appreciated that they wore masks while in the house. I Highly recommend them!! Thanks guys!

Called wire nuts last night and he was at our house the next day. In short order he had our problem, diagnosed and fixed. Would recommend him for your electrical needs.

I reached out via Yelp on a Friday, and Chris came out on Saturday to take a look and provide an estimate (work across two units in our multi-family building). His prices were reasonable and we were able to get scheduled within a few days. He and his team did high quality work very efficiently. We'll definitely call him next time we need electrical help!

I live in a real old house in Oak Park, tried to replace the possibly just as old light fixture on the porch myself and ran into a lot of rust and stripped wires and stuff I was not expecting so I knew I needed professional help. Edward at Greenline had Esteban out here in just a couple of days (would've been even sooner if I was available) and the job took 15 minutes and it looks great!

I am late writing this review, but Ryan recently installed an outlet in my home. He was responsive, punctual and communicative. 10/10 would recommend!

I've used Highlights Chicago twice now and both times the service and professionalism were outstanding.  My first experience was in 2019 when I needed wiring repaired to my smoke detectors throughout the house. The second time was a week ago when I needed a 14-50 outlet installed in the garage.

In both cases they arrived on-time, did the work properly and on budget.  For the outlet in the garage I actually needed to have the ground pin orientation changed post-installation and they accommodated my request and had it changed within a couple of days.

I would highly recommend for any electrical or wiring related project.

Steer Clear. This is not a legitimate electrical company. Gave me an estimate and did the electrical work for an EV charger in our condo building. Even though building management didn't request City of Chicago license initially, they checked for it later (it can be asked for at any time) and this company is not licensed in the City of Chicago and its illegal to do residential work without it. The job was done completely wrong and he almost blew the sump pump and electrical to entire building by connecting to a panel inexplicably and was told not to. Installed wiring that was bent and broken and taped together which could have caused shocks and burning. New contractor easily installed it - no bends or breaks. The wall outlet installed was open and exposed, and if water dripped to it could electrocute people. Sloppy, cut corners, dangerous, illegal and not up to code. Absolute garbage, rushed work. Refused to get City of Chicago license and come fix job. We will be pursuing our money back. This is an illegitimate electrical company. Avoid at all costs.

Addendum to review:

Right, I'm not an electrician , but here are couple facts that a real electrician should have known and done, that found out about your job.

You were told by the building engineer to use the 480/277 volt panel because 208/120 was already at the capacity.

You just plainly ignored that and proceeded with your version. Maybe you don't know the difference between two.

You ran 208/ 120 wires through 480/277 panel which was a huge code violation and a human life safety issue.

And that's not all:

Then you spliced those wires inside that panel multiple times -- code violation.

You then decided to use lightning contractor conduit to run the wires and overfill that conduit -- code violation.

You installed the breaker at the wrong panel (which was at capacity) so you overloaded that panel.

The wire was badly scraped

You removed pipe straps and made the electrical conduit loose -- code violation.

J boxes that you installed were unsecured and loose with knock outs missing -- code violation

I'm still waiting on the city of Chicago electrical registration paperwork  from you.

A qualified electrician would know right away that he is working with 480/277 volts and would have informed me that i needed a step down transformer in order for the EV charger to work!

On top things you have charged me over $2K for 2 J boxes and a roll of #6 wire, which costs $600 at the most. The piping was already 97% there , so what took you so long.

It took a qualified electrician a total of 8 hours to remove the faulty work and install everything from scratch including installing the transformer.

We'll happily accept a refund to settle this matter

Very happy with the work Tweaks & Finishes did. We've used them multiple times to hang lamps, switch out fixtures, and switch out switches. They were easy to get a hold of, easy to schedule, and kept us informed of what they were doing as they were doing it. They made some recommendations for our fixtures and switches to work more efficiently. They completed the work quickly and professionally. Will continue to use them for any electrical work.

Jake came to fix an electrical issue on our rooftop. He was able to quickly identify the problem and address it. He was very friendly and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend!

Neville & co were super helpful and communicative.  They investigated and solved an electrical issue that had been plaguing me for a while and involved trips from other electricians who couldn't solve.  Well worth the time and would recommend them to anyone.

Honest, transparent about costs, and delivered excellent work on time for installing an electric car charger. He looked up specs on the car company website, going the extra mile to ensure he did the best work.

Outstanding very communicative on time reliable all above in every category.  Always answers always explains what is needled and why

Alex responded to my posting quickly, was clear on costs, and came out at 8am the following day as promised. I gave wrong information on parts and he was ready with solutions to salvage the job and gave great advice. Would definitely hire again.

These guys are great!  Moved into a new place and had a few different projects that covered different specialties (plumbing, electrical and locksmith). Ricardo came in and got it all done and was courteous and thorough in his job.
I'm calling again when I need another job done!
