I needed a couple things done. I had a GFI that kept breaking. AC/DC was prompt and replaced the GFI with a heavy duty one and voila no problems since!!

Additionally I wanted a smart doorbell installed and they did a fantastic job snaking the low voltage wire to get the electricity to the doorbell so you can't see it!!

I'm very pleased on both jobs!!

Our toilet supply valve failed on a Friday afternoon and Sims & Sons was able to fit us in the same day. Zeno fixed the problem super quickly and explained what had happened, as well as recommendations for future maintenance work to prevent other issues. It was an incredibly easy, positive experience and we'll definitely use Sims and Sons for any electric or plumbing issues in the future!

We had an issue with our garbage disposal and were having a hard time both diagnosing the issue and getting an electrician to come out. I called T&D based off referrals and they were able to get me an appointment the next day.

Austin called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way and then immediately got to work. They were fairly priced and I didn't feel like they tried to prolong the work to get extra money out of me. I would definitely call them again and recommend them to other!

Great service! The price was reasonable and he did a great job. We felt very comfortable with him and felt he is trustworthy. We will definitely hire him in the future.

Chris was AMAZING! He was super reliable and took such great care in my forever home. He has come back twice and each time he has exceeded my expectations and I've already given his info to many friends who could use some electrical work. He hung 3  huge chandeliers with care and even made one work that didn't come with the parts needed from the manufacturer. He then hung an additional 6 other lights and even changed all my lightbulbs so they matched in color!

He also came back and hung two tvs for me the second visit which I can assure you will not be his last!

Edward was awesome! He was very helpful and answered all of my questions. Very communicative! He and his team installed five pot lights and a second switch in our hallway. They did a wonderful job and was incredibly efficient. We love our new lights!

Ryan is very professional, thorough, and provided excellent service.  He replaced a very old chandelier and three way switches.  He explained everything fully, quick and cleaned up afterward.  I'll be going to Ryan for all my future electrical needs.

I can't recommend this place and Mike enough. They were able to come same day I called and fixed the issue pretty much right away. He was professional, friendly and cracked a few jokes. Don't hesitate to call if you have any electrical issues.

We are in the process of tearing down a house we recently purchased, and hired Rogelio at Alex Electrical to cut the main electrical line from the pole to the house, as well as remove the cable lines, the electric meter, and the electric box in the house. Rogelio was extremely knowledgeable, very responsive, professional, and got the job done in less time than the estimate. He also mentioned that his company installs outlets, light fixtures, etc. We will definitely be hiring him again in the future for any electrical needs we have. Thank you, Rogelio.

We had several projects that we've been putting off for a while. We needed to move an outlet to a different wall, we had a switch in the bedroom that didn't work, needed to add lighting and add an outlet for a mounted TV. Jose was very quick to respond to me, provided a quote before he came so I knew what to expect, and was flexible when I wanted to add on tasks when they arrived. They fixed up our walls afterwards and worked very hard to keep things easy for us to paint. They were also very conscious to social distance when they came. I highly recommend their work, so glad that we got these items done finally!

Jake came to fix an electrical issue on our rooftop. He was able to quickly identify the problem and address it. He was very friendly and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend!

This was my second time hiring Blacklite Electric and it was a pleasure working with both Neville and Johnny!

Neville was communicative from the start. We were able to find a time very shortly after I reached out.

Johnny did a great job fixing the super old wiring in my home and replacing 4 light fixtures. Johnny was very respectful of COVID restrictions, wearing a mask the whole time. Payment was easy over Venmo.

I will call Blacklite again next time I need electrical work done!

Arrived on time, got the job done (fixing a previous job by another provider that didn't go well that I didn't want to come back), and cleaned up the work area in my condo. All for a very fair price.  Will call them again for my next electrical project!

Tom and his crew do such great work! Highly recommend them. They installed 4 outdoor outlets in our yard and also trenched wires underground so they were no longer exposed to the elements. They were on time, flexible, and just care about doing the job right. Tom is a really nice guy who walks you through all the work ahead of time. Don't hesitate to reach out to him!

Very responsive and responsible. Alex tried to help us trouble shoot over the phone to save us money. When that didn't work he showed up promptly, diagnosed the issue, and fixed the bad breaker.

I'll start with the pros - these guys had availability to help with fixing up our apartment amidst a national labor shortage.  The availability of services was also great, and finally, the quality of the work was commendable.  Very well-done, no complaints whatsoever.

And the reasons why I would urge you to take your business elsewhere:

1) The company definitely has a startup vibe and as a result, we couldn't get anyone on the phone.  After multiple attempts.  I tried texting the # they have on the website and no response (who texts about important stuff anyway).

2) We were WAY OVERCHARGED for some simple services.  Replacing a toilet handle + replacing several outlet covers (wall plates) costs...guess how much?  $200?  $500?  Try $1,100.

Kind of unbelievable!
