Our ceiling fan stopped working and it was quite a while before we could find anyone to complete the repair job.

I contacted Stephan and he responded quickly, was straight forward with his pricing and willing to take the job immediately. He arrived on time, got the job done and was very accommodating, polite and kind. Unfortunately that seems to be more of a rarity nowadays. What a refreshing transaction. I highly recommend AC/DC!

At first, this electrician seemed promising.  Darrell came out the same day I contacted them to provide an estimate.  We were doing some delicate electrical work that involved drilling a hole into the side or our condo, while avoiding gas and water lines.  So we wanted to be careful about who we used for the job.  Darrell provided a price and answered all of our questions. Due to work schedules, we need the work to be done on a weekend.  So, we booked something 10 days out, given that Darrell was could not do it on a weekend sooner than that.  The night before our Saturday morning appointment, Darrell texted that he could not make it and needed to reschedule.  After we waited 10 days for him, he told us 15 hours before the appointment that he could not make it.  Had he told us anytime in the preceding week and a half, we would have lined up another electrician.  So he really left us hanging.  And we had also scheduled the rest of our Saturday agenda around his availability. So he wasted our time in every respect.  Very unprofessional.

They were great! I asked for an early appointment and they scheduled me for 7 am....guess what? They were actually there at 7 - none of these 5 hour windows I hate so much. The technicians were very polite, very professional.  And, they were done quickly - I actually made it to work on time! The price was more than fair, and I'm thrilled to have my power back. Highly recommend!

for safety and efficiency, and was very reasonably priced.

Last month Joe replaced our old fuse panel with a new 30 circuit 100 amp panel, including new service line and placement outside.  He responded very quickly to our request for a review of the job site and provided a very reasonable quote for the job.

The work was completed as described and on time - he even threw in an extra GFCI socket to boot!  The village inspector complimented the work and gave us an immediate approval.  

Joe is great to work with and I will definitely call him again if/when I need any electrical work done in the future.  I highly recommend Joe.

So I just purchased a new home and having some circuit breaker issues. Found Chris on Yelp very nice guy. Very responsive. Came right out, Fix the issue under 15 minutes so I will definitely be calling him back out to finish the work, Definitely give Chris a call or give him a chance if you are having any type of issues with circuit breakers or electrical issues definitely recommend this business. I've used Highlights Chicago twice now and both times the service and professionalism were outstanding.  My first experience was in 2019 when I needed wiring repaired to my smoke detectors throughout the house. The second time was a week ago when I needed a 14-50 outlet installed in the garage.

In both cases they arrived on-time, did the work properly and on budget.  For the outlet in the garage I actually needed to have the ground pin orientation changed post-installation and they accommodated my request and had it changed within a couple of days.

I would highly recommend for any electrical or wiring related project.

We are in the process of tearing down a house we recently purchased, and hired Rogelio at Alex Electrical to cut the main electrical line from the pole to the house, as well as remove the cable lines, the electric meter, and the electric box in the house. I had a great experience with this company.  I had a 2-story chandelier to replace in my foyer as well as a dining room light. I texted back and forth with Nelville. Super easy to reach and he responds very quickly.  I like the texting aspect.  I actually texted a picture of the foyer light so he could accurately give me a quote for ladder rental, requirement for 2 guys, etc.  - The 2 gentlemen who came out were efficient, professional, and had both lights done in 2 hours.  Quote was spot on.  Would recommend them to anyone.

I had a problem that two other local electric companies couldn't fix - pulling wire up to a second floor laundry to turn a 20 amp outlet into a 30 amp outlet.  Well, one of them wanted to charge a small fortune to attempt it, and another said he didn't think it could be done.  Carlos came out with a helper, looked things over, and had me fixed up the same day.  He stopped by later with two cover plates to choose from, which he didn't even have to do, in my opinion.  Was super professional and friendly the whole time.  And the price I paid was reasonable.  

So it's not like I hope I have future electrical problems or anything, but if I do I'm never calling anyone else as long as I live in River Forest.
