Called again because an outlet had fried itself. They came out next day and replaced ungrounded outlet with a grounded one. This will help to prevent future fires. Showed me the parts replaced. Price for service/parts was reasonable. Will definitely put on my to call list for future needs.

I recently had T&D Electrical come to my home to replace certain switches to dimmers and to repair my outdoor light.  The work that was performed by Rodrigo and Ryan was well-explained and efficient.  They were respectful of how turning off the power in my home would impact my ability to work at home.  They were also very respectful of my home and neighbors.  I highly recommend T&D Electrical for any work you need to have performed.

Super responsive to my Yelp request for a quote for installation services. Reasonable prices, great workmanship, and service with a smile! I find it hard to even get contractors to return my calls/requests for service, so it was refreshing to find someone responsive and prompt with service.

So I just purchased a new home and having some circuit breaker issues. Found Chris on Yelp very nice guy. Very responsive. Came right out, Fix the issue under 15 minutes so I will definitely be calling him back out to finish the work, Definitely give Chris a call or give him a chance if you are having any type of issues with circuit breakers or electrical issues definitely recommend this business. I can't praise this company highly enough! We'd been struggling with a temperamental home-lighting system--in addition to one overloaded socket  from an installation carried out before we moved into the apartment. Thanks to Greenline Electric, perplexing lights are now beaming again, and funky wall fixtures have been normalized! Esteban carried out very complicated work with true expertise, great efficiency, and great friendliness. All very illuminating (!); great!

The power went out in half my house on Sunday morning. After resetting all the circuit breakers and calling Comed. I starting calling electricians. My call was promptly answered, and Mr. Ryan explained that he was out on a call, would be available in a couple hours, and he would call me back. He did call me back, but by that time, Comed had restored the power. While he did not actually come out and provide service, I was satisfied with the response and would not hesitate to call Ryan Electric in the future.

Service was prompt, the electrician great ( he even removed his shoes when he saw that there was carpeting), and the quoted price was what I paid! All in all I can highly recommend this company!

Steer Clear. This is not a legitimate electrical company. Gave me an estimate and did the electrical work for an EV charger in our condo building. Even though building management didn't request City of Chicago license initially, they checked for it later (it can be asked for at any time) and this company is not licensed in the City of Chicago and its illegal to do residential work without it. The job was done completely wrong and he almost blew the sump pump and electrical to entire building by connecting to a panel inexplicably and was told not to. Installed wiring that was bent and broken and taped together which could have caused shocks and burning. New contractor easily installed it - no bends or breaks. The wall outlet installed was open and exposed, and if water dripped to it could electrocute people. Sloppy, cut corners, dangerous, illegal and not up to code. Absolute garbage, rushed work. Refused to get City of Chicago license and come fix job. We will be pursuing our money back. This is an illegitimate electrical company. Avoid at all costs.

Addendum to review:

Right, I'm not an electrician , but here are couple facts that a real electrician should have known and done, that found out about your job.

You were told by the building engineer to use the 480/277 volt panel because 208/120 was already at the capacity.

You just plainly ignored that and proceeded with your version. Maybe you don't know the difference between two.

You ran 208/ 120 wires through 480/277 panel which was a huge code violation and a human life safety issue.

And that's not all:

Then you spliced those wires inside that panel multiple times -- code violation.

You then decided to use lightning contractor conduit to run the wires and overfill that conduit -- code violation.

You installed the breaker at the wrong panel (which was at capacity) so you overloaded that panel.

The wire was badly scraped

You removed pipe straps and made the electrical conduit loose -- code violation.

J boxes that you installed were unsecured and loose with knock outs missing -- code violation

I'm still waiting on the city of Chicago electrical registration paperwork  from you.

A qualified electrician would know right away that he is working with 480/277 volts and would have informed me that i needed a step down transformer in order for the EV charger to work!

On top things you have charged me over $2K for 2 J boxes and a roll of #6 wire, which costs $600 at the most. The piping was already 97% there , so what took you so long.

It took a qualified electrician a total of 8 hours to remove the faulty work and install everything from scratch including installing the transformer.

We'll happily accept a refund to settle this matter

Jose and Rodney are great! We needed more electrical work than we thought, but Jose did not charge more than the original quoted price except for more equipment that was needed for some unforeseen problems that came up. Rodney did a great job painting and even did some minor covering of a small spot of ugly color on my walls. I will soon ask them to install some recessed lighting as they already explained the procedure. What a great team!

Jake came by to install our ventilation fan and a new bathroom vanity. He was super friendly, quick, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Neville, Johnny and Josh were awesome. Neville was extremely responsive and quick with his assessment of my issues, he gave me a reasonable quote and when Johnny and Josh arrived, they were great - pleasant, kind and got the job done quickly and professionally. I not only WILL use them again, but I will recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician. They even fixed a dimmer switch that was incorrectly installed before they left, which was not what I hired them for - great people, excellent service and an overall stellar experience.

The two people who came to install a ceiling fan, two sconces, and add a switch in a vintage apartment were efficient and knowledgeable. $125/worker/hour which seems like the standard rate, with no dilly-dallying.

Could not recommend a better electrician!

I had a desire to install ceiling recessed lights and ceiling fans in a few rooms for some time. After doing some research on Yelp, I found Tom and gave him a call. We were able to set up a in-person consultation soon after, where he walked me through the options for recessed LED lights (4in vs 6in) and spacing of said lights. We agreed on an overall plan and start date.

During the project, Tom and his men were timely, clean, and very efficient in their work. They carefully calculated and marked out the placement of the lights and fan on the ceiling in each room for my approval before starting to cut into the drywall. In the end, they had to cut into a surprisingly small amount of the drywall to put everything together. In the two places in each room that they did have to open up the wall, they carefully replaced the drywall, saving me from having to make any large patches before repainting.

I wanted to use a particular smart dimming switch (Brilliant), but it was backordered and did not arrive in time. Tom hooked up everything using temporary switches and came back later to finish the job once they arrived.

Overall, I would definitely use Tom and his men again! I have a couple other projects around the house I've been thinking of (electric car charger, exterior light, replacing track lighting with more recessed lights, etc.) and plan to use Tom for these projects in the future!

Frank is very professional.  Showed up when he said he would, explained what he was doing, and even provided a lower price than what he first quoted.  I will definitely call him again for any electrical job.  Highly recommend!

Alex did a great job replacing a broken switch. He responded quickly to my initial request and was fast in communicating throughout the scheduling process. We are very happy with the quality of work.
We'll likely have to have most of our old wiring replaced and are looking forward to have Alex and his team back. Seems to be a newer company, and I'm glad we took a chance on them.

I will 100% be using Fixer again for any work we need done at our condo. They are extremely quick in responding to requests and we'll priced. Kenny was our technician and he was awesome! We had him out to do some electrical work. He explained everything that he was doing and kept us well informed. Not to mention he was extremely friendly.
