Stefan was very quick in responding, and was able to go out to my property very quickly. He was courteous and communicative, and most importantly fixed my bad outlets!  Thanks Stefan, I am glad to habe found a good reliable electrical contractor!!!

It could not have been more difficult to schedule an appointment with Darrell. He tried rescheduling THREE times when I specifically told him when myself (and our tenant) would be available. He had no understanding that as a landlord, we can't just walk into their unit. We need to give them notice. It was incredibly stressful finding a time that worked for both of us and I ended up having to find another plumber to come out. Why make it so difficult for a customer to schedule an appointment? Because of this, I did not trust him or anyone on his team to come to our building.

Quick service and very neat. Reasonable price for small job and responsive. Think that their responsiveness really stands out. Often tough to get an electrician out for small jobs.

I had Ted out to my house in La Grange Park to troubleshoot a couple of outlets that had stopped working.  I am somewhat technical myself, and was able to diagnose the problem, but not locate it.  That's when I texted Ted.  Yes, you can text him directly.  I don't know about you, but I thought that was a great feature; very convenient! So anyway, Ted came out on Monday (I'd originally reached out to him on a Sunday, and while he doesn't do Sunday housecalls (totally understandable) he DID respond to me on Sunday right away, and we set up a time for the next day.  He arrived on time, and I had told him what I had done to investigate (I'd determined that it was a broken neutral somewhere in the conduit feeding these two kitchen outlets, but I couldn't find the break).  He was patient and helpful as I was explaining all of this, and agreed with my assessment.  Since I was curious, I watched him while he worked, and he explained what he was doing the whole time, because he knew I was interested.  While we were discussing this, we also talked about some other improvements that we could make to the electrical at my house (balancing circuits between the two hot feeds coming into my house, and stuck around while I played with different pieces of equipment (I have a lot of computers ;p ) to see how we could save on my power bills.  After we did that, I noticed that my power bills have decreased by about 10%!  He also was willing to stick around and install an motion-sensing light switch that I had been unable to get to work properly.  All of this extra stuff was not discussed ahead of time, but he was willing to take the extra time to help me out.  I have found my electrician for all my future needs.  Ted is great, you should call (or text!) him today!

Joe is the ruler of the universe!!!  Made a call  to him and he showed up in 30 minutes and solved our electric nightmare. I'm gonna hire him for all of my electric needs. Thanks Joe!

So I just purchased a new home and having some circuit breaker issues. Found Chris on Yelp very nice guy. Very responsive. Came right out, Fix the issue under 15 minutes so I will definitely be calling him back out to finish the work, Definitely give Chris a call or give him a chance if you are having any type of issues with circuit breakers or electrical issues definitely recommend this business. All around great first time experience. I called on a cold snowy night and the owner had someone (Leeroy) out to me within a couple of hours. Leeroy was great, and fixed my issue with my outdoor GFCI outlet almost instantly. So thankful to have a great electrician in my phonebook now!

Ryan is kind of a genius of electrical stuff. He fixed my kitchen outlets (1/2 my house plugs didn't work) and added light fixtures.  I plan on hiring him again.

FYI: when my kitchen outlets weren't working, I had another well-rated company come here.  They quoted me $4500, and I'm still not sure if they actually figured out what was wrong.  Ryan came and fixed the issue for much less and way quicker.

I called Highlights to give me a quote on installing some can lights in my basement, adding a dimmer switch, changing some outdoor lighting and adding a timer to my outdoor lights. The service representative was very straightforward on pricing estimate and the work was all done in just a few hours. I would definitely recommend using Highlights to anyone looking to have a reliable electrician at a fair honest price for good work. I will be using them again in the future.

Rogelio did a good job on our building. Repaired some outlets, in the apartment, garage, and outside of the building. He shared photos of his progress. We talk over the phone to clarify details and got a quote on the spot for additional work that was necessary and was finished the same day after getting the parts needed.
He is also bilingual, what helps communicating easier for a larger population group.
All good overall.

Rodney and his team did a wonderful job painting our entire condo! The walls needed painting and caulking in some spots and now the walls look brand new. They were very clear about communication, responsive, and reliable. They also painted everything more quickly than expected, which was great! They covered all of our things nicely and I love how our walls look now! They are also covid-safe. I am so happy we went with them and would definitely hire them again for future painting needs.

Jake came by to install our ventilation fan and a new bathroom vanity. He was super friendly, quick, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

I had Blacklite Electric replace a couple of light fixtures. They moved a couple of outlets above my fireplace and installed lights under my kitchen cabinets.

They were on time, professional and quick. I will definitely work with them again if I need any electrical work done.

The team at Kinetic Energy has helped us with many projects since we moved into our home in Oak Park.  Kinetic always provides competent, courteous and respectful electricians.  We feel comfortable having them work on our home.  But on Christmas Eve the owner Ted responded to our call that our living room lights were out and we needed some help as we were having guests Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  Ted came out in less than half an hour and immediately identified and fixed the problem.  We couldn't thank him enough, he said that was his job and he was glad he could fix the problem.  Ted said no problem and wished us a happy holiday.  We would highly recommend Kinetic for all your electrical needs.  You won't be disappointed.

Could not recommend a better electrician!

I had a desire to install ceiling recessed lights and ceiling fans in a few rooms for some time. After doing some research on Yelp, I found Tom and gave him a call. We were able to set up a in-person consultation soon after, where he walked me through the options for recessed LED lights (4in vs 6in) and spacing of said lights. We agreed on an overall plan and start date.

During the project, Tom and his men were timely, clean, and very efficient in their work. They carefully calculated and marked out the placement of the lights and fan on the ceiling in each room for my approval before starting to cut into the drywall. In the end, they had to cut into a surprisingly small amount of the drywall to put everything together. In the two places in each room that they did have to open up the wall, they carefully replaced the drywall, saving me from having to make any large patches before repainting.

I wanted to use a particular smart dimming switch (Brilliant), but it was backordered and did not arrive in time. Tom hooked up everything using temporary switches and came back later to finish the job once they arrived.

Overall, I would definitely use Tom and his men again! I have a couple other projects around the house I've been thinking of (electric car charger, exterior light, replacing track lighting with more recessed lights, etc.) and plan to use Tom for these projects in the future!

Very responsive and responsible. Alex tried to help us trouble shoot over the phone to save us money. When that didn't work he showed up promptly, diagnosed the issue, and fixed the bad breaker.

We used Fixer for the first time today and had a fantastic experience.  We hired them to install a ceiling fan and he was on time and got it installed within the hour.  He was very professional and it looks great!!  I will be using Fixer again.
