Howard did a great job troubleshooting and fixing my electrical outlet problem. He was able to come over the same day that I called and I thought the price was very fair. He is a friendly, knowledgable guy and I will definitely use him again.

They took on a project of my home that had been turned down by two other electricians due to the difficulty going around the existing construction. I got three estimates as recommended but two others backed off. North shore was not the most budget friendly choice but they were confident and willing to work on our old bungalow. I also used them for smaller work before like figuring why our basement lost power.  At that time their technician knew to check the exact outlet that had blown off and fixed the problem within 15 min. When i was impressed like an idiot he only chuckled and said he guessed based on experience and he was also lucky. :)

I love these people after they got us a new service line and a new distribution box. They are pleasant to work with.  They also brought their own handyman that made it possible to work in our home.  ComEd person just came out and did an inspection and was impressed how the work was done precisely.

Goran arrived on time, identified and addressed the issue while on site, and had the best rates of anyone we found in our service area. Two thumbs up!

After searching for electricians I found small tyme Electric emailed Norh and we were so happy we made the right choice. We had two outlets that were in wall mounted boxes with external wiring and they were able to quickly get them wired and hooked into existing circuits, even at an old house. Will definitely be using them again for future electrical needs.

Mike was able to help me over the phone fix a track lighting system that had a transformer that tripped. Cannot say enough great things about Mike and his responsiveness! Not to mention my lights are back to working and it didn't cost me anything. Highly Recommend!

Just called Penco for help with our thermostat wiring, and the person who answered (blanking ugh) was SO friendly, and SO helpful. Basically saved us money for someone from their company coming out and telling us the same exact thing he did on the phone, which is totally honest and legit in my opinion. Not many would do that these days. He gave me all the info I needed to know this was a 100% HVAC company issue and what would be a Penco Electric assisted job. Will be calling them if needed!

Highly recommend The Good Guys Handyman. Jamie came by to repair our outdoor vents and remove a bath mirror. He also provided us advice on some future work we were looking into. Absolutely the best electricians my family has ever used. Carlos Sr. and Jr. came to our aid like electric genies when our garage lost its electrical power. Seems our landscaper accidentally diced it when planting a tree. They spent about six hour replacing the line and enclosed it in metal. They did this as a precaution for future overzealous  shovelers.   They also replanted my plants after they were done. Was so thrilled at the end of the day, I hired them to do another job. A week later, I have new recessed lights in my basement ceiling. Excellent work, did exactly as was discussed. Fairly priced, honest, and reliable. Guess I must have won the  best electrical contractor lottery!

Sam came to my home to add a 220 line for a hot tub I had installed.  the work was impeccable and he took the time to explain things, did my special requests, and even came back to hook up the hot tub after they delivered it as part of my job. he is very reasonable and quick to respond.

We were having a problem with a breaker tripping and our regular electrician was out of town.  I was told the service call would be $49 plus parts.  Eddie came out and said it would be $266 to diagnose the problem which consisted of him feeling outlets to see if they felt warm.  He was not able to find a problem and I had to pay $266.  My regular electrician came out and was able to locate and correct the problem immediately.  Thanks for nothing Mr. Mighty!

Ken helped me with installing conduit in a high rise unit.  This required providing extra documentation regarding insurance and certifications.  It also meant working within the building's hours and elevator availability.  Ken came to the unit for an initial estimate, provided all of the documents beforehand, followed-up with a walk through on the day before work was to be done, and then personally came to the unit as the job was being completed.  The work was completed professionally and aesthetically.  The primary installer (Darrell) was pleasant, competent, and able to modify the plan as needed.  What I appreciated most is Ken's timely responses to questions and requests for information.  He ensured no question was left unanswered.  Dosie Electric will be a goto resource for future projects.

Very fair pricing and prompt, efficient service.  The owner, Tom Peck, is great to deal with.  He does a great job in a fast and efficient manner.
