After reading the reviews, I would have expected more.  After coming in to the house and helping resolve the problem (a minor one) he stayed around 20 minutes longer to make the total time over 1hr, and billed us more.  He also didn't want to take his shoes off when coming in the house and did not have covers for them...on a rainy day, I would expect a Yelp 5 star to have been more courteous.

On the bright side, he charged the hourly rate that he states and  he came on time.  All in all, an average experience.

Mike came this morning to install a new fluorescent light fixture in the kitchen. He did a great job working with the old wiring. He was polite, efficient, and cleaned up when he finished. This would be a five-star review except that I was told he'd arrive between 9 and 10 and he didn't arrive until closer to 11. Other than that--great job. I'd use this company again.

We hired Goran to correct some code violations in my mom's older home, replacing outlets with 3-prong and GFCI and adding some additional outlets in the garage. The same day I called he came and did a free estimate. His work was quick and efficient and he did not charge more than his original estimate even though I had under counted the number of outlets that needed replacing. He is easy to work with and we thought his work was excellent. We are going to need more work done and will definitely be calling him. You will not go wrong by hiring Goran.

We've hired Small Tyme on four different occasions for jobs big and small, including a whole-house rewiring.  We'll continue to work with Norh, and we continue to recommend him to friends.  He has very reasonable rates, and he is prompt, responsive, and very easy to work with.

I would not recommend this company for electrical work. Lack of communication, zero follow up and very unprofessional.

Scott is the best.  His crew is amazing.  We had had them out several times and they do a great job every time.  You will also see his crew that have been on other jobs come and help other members to help finish projects.  Can't say enough good things.

Mike was able to help me over the phone fix a track lighting system that had a transformer that tripped. Cannot say enough great things about Mike and his responsiveness! Not to mention my lights are back to working and it didn't cost me anything. Highly Recommend!

Penco Electric is fantastic.  We needed a whole home generator and we are so glad we chose them to install it.  We got multiple bids and they were the most competitive in addition to their exceptional customer service.  The installation was excellent and they went above and beyond to ensure that everything was done at 110%.  During installation there were a couple minor issues, due to my house and no fault of theirs, and they went out of their way to make sure everything was done correctly even though it cost them some additional time and expense.  I would highly recommend Pence Electric for anyone who needs a generator or generator service.

Chris' team did a nice job, but the lack of communication was concerning and the price point was higher than expected.

The team that showed up was professional, upfront with pricing, and got immediately to work. I have an older home and they noticed a few issues (some bigger than others) but weren't overly dramatic about them. I've found living in an older home, professionals tend to freak out whenever they're confronted by something that isn't by the modern book. They quickly fixed what I asked for and gave me straightforward advice on how to, eventually, handle the other matters. They were early but called to confirm that was okay. Overall, very good service and will absolutely recommend and use again.

We called for an electrical short that kept setting off the circuit breaker. After 4 days of dealing with another company that had a different story everyday. We called Sam and he solved our problem in a couple of hours for a reasonable price.
He knows his electricity very well.
I would recommend him for any electrical work needed.

The company was very prompt, gave me an accurate time frame at which they could come out.  The serviceman was very professional, let me know exactly what was wrong, and fixed it quickly.  Even called the next day to ensure that everything was working properly.  Great service, all around great experience.

Great service start to finish! We needed an outdoor outlet installed outdoors for our chicken coop. Mr. Dosie commnicated quickly through Yelp messaging and scheduled a time to come out to our house for an estimate. He was on-time, professional and courteous. He provided a no-pressure estimate for the work. We accepted the quote and Mr. Dosie made time for our small job right away knowing that the weather was about to get cold and we needed the outlet asap. He and his son came out the very next morning, completed the job quickly and eficiently. We couldn't be happier. Along the way Mr. Dosie keep up in the loop and he even called from Home Depot that morning to give me an estimate time of arrival. Very fair pricing and prompt, efficient service.  The owner, Tom Peck, is great to deal with.  He does a great job in a fast and efficient manner.
