Howard is FANTASTIC!! I hired him to replace 3 old light fixtures in my home and he did an amazing job! He was on time, reasonably priced and most importantly, honest. While installing the light in my hallway, he found an issue with the wiring in my old, built in the 50's condo. He let me know right away that there was an issue, took the time to explain the problem to me, then checked the wiring on all of the other fixtures in my home as a precaution. He fixed it quickly and for a fair price. As a girl with absolutely NO electrical knowledge, he could have really taken me to the cleaners, but he didn't. He was honest and fair. And when the work was done, he even cleaned up after himself! Now if only I could get my fiancee to do that....

This is the 3rd time we've used them, and as always, we have no complaints.  

They arrived when they said they would and did good work. The electrician who showed up was courteous and friendly.

We hired Goran to correct some code violations in my mom's older home, replacing outlets with 3-prong and GFCI and adding some additional outlets in the garage. The same day I called he came and did a free estimate. His work was quick and efficient and he did not charge more than his original estimate even though I had under counted the number of outlets that needed replacing. He is easy to work with and we thought his work was excellent. We are going to need more work done and will definitely be calling him. You will not go wrong by hiring Goran.

I am a 1st time building owner .. I don't know any electricians so I looked on yelp.. I came across great reviews for Norh at Small Tyme Electric.. I had a serious electrical problem at the building where the live wires from the building were hanging extremely low but Comed refused to fix the problem .. I called NOrh and he was able to come out the very next day on my schedule even thought it was raining! I hung out with Norh the whole time he worked... It turns out whoever did electrical work to building did not support the electrical correctly to the wall causing the wires to slip and hang .. Norh was a very pleasant person to talk to and he completed the job in a sufficient amount of time ! I will be using Norh for all my future electrical needs :)

Adrian Electrical Contractors responded promptly.  I contacted them after an electrical issue late in the evening.  Someone answered and found an electrician who could come out and help within an hour.  Our problem was fixed in no time.  Our contractor, John, was courteous and the price was just right!  Thanks again Adrian Electrical Contractors!  I will definitely use them again if a need arises!

On time for the estimate and on time for the service. Polite, friendly, fast. They quickly solved our issue and made everything look great. Service ended up being cheaper than the estimate! Will use Scott Nelson Electric in the future.

We have a new go-to electrician. Mike is extremely responsive and detailed in his communications. He agreed to help install a new light switch for my elderly aunts. (It turns out, they are neighbors!) Unbeknownst to me, a caregiver fixed the light before Mike even got there for the appointment. Instead of being annoyed, he double-checked the work and made a change to make sure it was safe. He did not take any money from my aunts, and instead gave them a card and reassured them if they had questions or problems, they could call him. Kind, honest, conscientious and detail-oriented. Thank you, Mike!!

Hired Marcin to install an ev charger. I received a fair quote for the work, more reasonable than others. He did a great job on the installation.

He did another small job for us as well. Helpful and easy to work with.

Penco Electric is wonderful!  They installed and now maintain my whole house, back up Generator.  I called for three estimates and by far the most knowledgable and professional was the team at Penco.  Everyone I dealt with
were professional and wanted me happy.  Marion handled setting up my order and explained the process thoroughly.  When my generator arrived I dealt with Justin .   THE FOLLOW UP WAS GREAT.   I bought the generator as insurance having this team with the Generator, I feel very secure.

This company is amazing! They were able to scheduled an appointment within 3 days. I had a badly dog damaged wall and needed some expertise in dog proofing. The owner and employees were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My wall and dog proofed apartment is beautiful looking. Also, they are awesome in customizing requests. This is the BEST handyman service I have found!!!!!

We called for an electrical short that kept setting off the circuit breaker. After 4 days of dealing with another company that had a different story everyday. We called Sam and he solved our problem in a couple of hours for a reasonable price.
He knows his electricity very well.
I would recommend him for any electrical work needed.
He is now our go to guy.

I called about problems I having with a garage door opener. On the phone the dispatcher said they could send someone out for $49. A really nice guy showed up but immediately said he didn't know anything about garage doors. (???) he said he could do an inspection but it would cost $99. He took the switch off the wall and said he thought the circuit board was a problem but wasn't sure. I asked if it might be the box on the ceiling. He said he didn't know. He took the cover off and looked at it but really was sure. He now thought it might be the box & the circuit, maybe also the cable. I told him that I didn't feel that maybe this, maybe that was worth $99.

Long story short, we called his supervisor, spoke to Eddie who said I didn't have to pay anything. I told him I was willing to pay the $49 since someone did have to come out, but he said it was okay.

The problem seems to have with the dispatcher not sending the correctly trained technician and not with the technician. I appreciate Eddie not charging me. Hence the 3-start rating. I really can't say if their work is good or bad, but they seem fair.

My original review was one star due to Some real garbage work and high pricing that one of their new workers did. Kenneth refunded some of the money but it took many months of arguing which I didn't deserve because his workers didn't have proper tools or work ethic to complete the job.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by this company. Tom was incredibly responsive and had his team on the job the same day I contacted them...a real blessing after all the problems I have had with my contractor. They did an exceptional job and were a joy to have in my home...even my cat loved them! They were professional, conscientious, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. I will definitely have them back and I would recommend them to anyone.
