I contacted Adam Hadib with A1-Services.  He answered his phone, no voicemail. He asked for photos of the work we needed done, then he sent me back his reasonable quote.

He was able to come out the next day to install our shower door. (He was booked up all week after Sunday).

He did a wonderful job! He was very personable; kind;considerate, & honest.

We will definitely call him again if needed.

Tim was awesome. He came and installed my smart switches. Very professional. And answered all my questions. I will definitely be reaching out to Tim in the near future for all my Electrical projects.

I met Racine through my realtor. After I bought my condo the shower had really low water pressure. My realtor told me he knew a great plumber and electrician who he had worked with for many years on different projects. I gave Racine a call, he fixed the water pressure problem in the shower; since then he has done electrical work for me and other plumbing projects.

I have referred him to my family and friends who are also very happy with his work. Racine has over 20 years experience as an electrician, plumber, painter, etc. When I need work done on my condo I always call on Racine, he takes pride in his work, charges the price he quoted, always arrives when he says, and is very professional. I feel lucky to have met him when I first bought my condo instead of going through the process of finding the right general contractor. Although his office is on the Southside, I live in Rogers Park; he travels all over the city and suburbs.

I cannot recommend these guys more highly.   Communication was excellent and their prices were reasonable.    Best of all was the work they did.   We have an older home that was added on to about 17 years ago.   They had to be very creative and knowledgeable in order to add some recessed lights in our dining room.   The lights and improvements are outstanding.    They also added 4 recessed lights to our bedroom.  They work clean and are supremely professional.

Phil is a gem! We had scheduled with a different electrician, but somehow, wires got crossed. We are moving into a townhome that looks like it has some iffy electrical issues. When it looked like the original electricians were unable to come out to look at the issue in a timely fashion, I called VIP Electrical Services. I had little hope that we could schedule when I originally wanted because it was just 3 days away and he let me know he was really busy. But he scheduled me for first thing in the morning on the day that we needed!! Can't tell you how much I value a company going out of their way to accommodate a customer, especially when the mix up had nothing to do with them. I will give VIP my business any day of the week. So I contacted Newberry after another electrician came and told me that installing a wall charger was going to be very hard, if not impossible. I was devastated and I had contacted several other electric companies and they all wanted pictures and were backed up. So I really got lucky when I found Jamie. He came and looked at my situation and was able to install a charger in my garage. He only had to make a small cut in my ceiling. I was so grateful. He's also super nice and loves cars! He's like a gem when it comes to electricians. He knows a lot about Tesla installations.

I had trouble last night with my furnace shutting down.  I called Dave at Economy and he sent out a Technician Steve first thing in the morning.  He found the problem, fixed the problem, checked several other components, cleaned up as he went along.  He was very efficient, courteous, and knowledgable.  After testing the unit, and checking incoming and outgoing temperatures, he asked if I had any other problems or questions.  What more could you ask ?
This work was still covered under the 10 year warranty I was given when I purchased this unit from Economy.  ( 9-1/2 years later )   The first problem ever.

Father's electric has been instrumental in our final renovations by updating our existing electricity and lighting. We have a house built in 1947 and he put in new lines as well as can lighting which came out amazing. When we had a brand new garage with upstairs built he also did all of the electricity in there. The inspector in Oak Lawn didn't even hesitate to approve the job. I would recommend Father's to anyone in need of a professional job done right.

Mike is an incredibly knowledgeable electrician and nice person to boot.
He did some electrical work in my kitchen and he was in and out within an hour. He explained everything he was doing along the way.

He was incredibly easy to make an appointment with and he's reasonably priced, too. For the quality of work, and the timeliness of the work being done, he's the best bet for your money.

Gabi was fantastic. I have a crazy work schedule and was looking for someone to do some electrical work on my house on very short notice. Called a few places and didn't like the vibe I got on the phone. Called Gabi and liked him immediately. Upfront, honest, and got to my house within 30 minutes of me calling him. He did excellent work and was super clean which I loved. Even wore booties in my house which I appreciate bc I have 2 little kids and one more on the way who are always playing on the floor. I even enjoyed conversation with him. Will definitely use again in the future. Do not hesitate to call him he is the guy you want working on your house.

I bought a new house and knew I had to get some pros in to look at the electrical system -- it was mostly old cloth wiring, and then years of patches, splices, and various other poor (and dangerous) choices. These guys came out the next day to take a look, told me what I needed to get done, what I should get done, and what could wait -- working entirely around my budget. They gave me an estimate with the caveat that things could go up once they started pulling the wires. Even though they found a lot more problems than they expected, they didn't move the cost up one cent. Hugo Sr, Hugo Jr, and Luis worked quickly and in a day and a half had run three new circuits, rewired the kitchen, ran a new homerun to the basement, and replaced the old, dangerous wire on the second floor. Better still, they left the place cleaner than they found it. I would not hesitate to call these guys again or recommend them to friends -- true professionals.

We Conduit Electric has done various types electric work for my friends and family ranging from full build out of a house, residential generator to commercial space.  I built a home and We Conduit Electric did all the electrical work.  They did an amazing job while providing great customer service.  Not only did they complete the work timely but also the work was quality and provided some additional electrical ideas (If I were to build my house, I'd do...). It was easy working with these guys and would recommend them to all of my family and friends.

Loved working with Don and his son! I had a broken dishwasher, and I thought I would have to spend almost $1k to replace it. But Don & son saved the day! They were fast, efficient, and price was very reasonable. I'd recommend them to anyone who is in need of repairs.

I work in the Patten Building, located in the South Loop. Patten is an old, old, old Building. Jesus probably visited friends who resided in this building. The building's electrical system is old to match, and don't even get me started about the Air Conditioner. . .

Said antediluvian AC has been on-again-off-again since I began working in this building about a year ago. The culprit -  a huge, antiquated and worn beyond usable breaker.

The solution? Prime Electric Co. They arranged to come make a FREE estimate, order the part and have it installed, within 24 hours for only $350!! The next closest competitor was going to charge $200 just to look at the panel. And the next guy was trying to charge about $550 for it.

Prompt, honest and knowledgeable: That's Prime Electric.

Would not recommend this company.  An employee came out to assess an electrical problem and created a more complicated situation.  The owner has not responded to my concerns.  His employee cut wiring and removed this material from my property.  Was told by the owner this would be returned.  No further communication.  The fact that they worsened this situation demonstrates their lack of accountability as professionals.  Beware.
