Best Electricians in Illinois

Noel was great to work with and they did great work.  I wanted new lighting in several rooms in my house.  He gave me a fair estimate, was quick to schedule the work, and made recommendations based on what I wanted.  I would highly recommend them and I am glad to say that I have an electrician for any future projects.

Sunday night half of the power in my home went out. I called Mike first thing Monday morning and he instructed me to have Com Ed come out and take a look (even gave me their number). Com Ed came out and explained the problem to me. I called Mike who broke his schedule after learning that we had no heat and immediately came over.
He went above and beyond any and all expectations I had and restored our power for a very reasonable price.
I have to note that Monday morning I spoke with 4 different electricians, Mike was the only one who told me to contact Com Ed. There was someone else who came out , but he turned the job down. Mike was the only one who took a genuine interest in helping me. Mike at Advance is now my go to guy for all things electrical. Thanks Mike!!!

Victor was one of the most competitive bids for the outlet that I needed for my tesla.
I have an older house that requires a lot of extra detail and he was able to accomplish with 0 problems. He is friendly and knowledgeable and that is why I chose him over others.

We just moved into our new condo in Uptown and needed a little electrical work done.  We needed 2 plugs installed, a vanity light for the bathroom (can you believe a bathroom without vanity lights?), and 4 dimmers throughout the place.  Not only to Peter get back to me right away, but he scheduled a FREE estimate visit to my home the very next day.  The technician's name was Matt and he was super nice and courteous.  We got the estimate the very next day and I thought was pretty average.  Not super cheap, not really expensive... just what I was expecting really.  The best thing about it was that I got a flat fee quote.  That meant no lazy technicians milking the clock... they get paid the same whether they are there for 2 hours or all day.  We scheduled the work to be done a few days after that.  

Matt arrived to my place on time and ready to work.  He was here for many hours and didn't even stop for a lunch break.  The work was done perfectly and he didn't leave any mess behind at all!  I figured out the hourly out of what I paid and it worked out to $95/hour... and that INCLUDED supplies!  Very reasonable, I think.

Peter actually followed up with me the very next morning with a phone call to make sure I was happy with the work.  

I couldn't speak more highly of them.  VERY satisfied.  I'll be recommending them to all of my friends.  Great work!

Oh, and the 3 other electricians I contacted couldn't even be bothered to reply to me yet... it's been a week and a half...

Kris did a great job installing three pendant lamps for me. He was quick, neat, and efficient -- he even organized all the old fixtures so I could donate them to goodwill. They gave me a quote on Friday and said they would come on Tuesday. He was on time and the quote was spot on. Will definitely call them again next time I need electrical work!

Good service, but EXPENSIVE!! The charge is $135 an hour and the average electrician charge is between 50-100 an hour. I just figured because they received great reviews that they would be priced reasonably. Use if you can afford, but we'll be finding quality work elsewhere.

Absolutely loved their service. They were quick to answer phone calls and emails. They had best pricing to installed outlet for my Tesla. Scheduled service with ease and they came on time and quick install. No issues and after a year, still works wonderful.

Prompt response to my plea for assistance with a circuit breaker that prevented my thermostat from functioning. No thermostat, no A/C, no fun.

Jason was helped me understand our SpacePak system and the steps he was taking to troubleshoot the situation. I found the services affordable and his appearance and manner highly professional.

Quick service and installation of a tricky light fixture! Took two hours for a new chandelier, but that was with needing to do a little re-wiring. Professional and easy to work with!

I needed my electric panel replaced to close on my condo. The pressure was on and I needed help fast. After 3 weeks with nothing done from the first company I was more then upset.
I researched and called LMV. The ratings were high!
I called and spoke to the secretary , Maggie ,and she had Lucus out in 2 hours. After 3 hours the wrote a proposal and  was sent to me.
I signed and they did everything that was needed for the Village of Mount Prospect and my HOA to approve me.
The whole project was scheduled , passed by the Village and approved in a few days!

Gino helped me get my apartment up to code with some bad electrical outlets. He was very prompt, friendly and efficient. I know it's difficult work trying to upgrade old wiring and construction. He was very resourceful in getting that task done for me.

Todd was outstanding!  Showed up right on time, even a little early, and completed the electrical work we needed done in an hour. It took the last electrician from another company over 4 hours and he couldn't fix the problem. Todd was able to troubleshoot, fix the problem and clean up the mess the other electrician left us with. Todd was very nice, knowledgable and very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Great handyman! Prompt communication, polite and skillful. Mo did a great job, from now on he is my go-to for any project around my building.

I am amazed that I am the first person to review this company. Any one who owns property knows how wonderful (and difficult) it is to find a professional, reliable, funny, and super friendly electrician/plumber/contractor/handyman. Well, with Ed, I found The One. He's just fantastic in every way. I recently hired him to repair the doorbells at my two-flat and, as always, he was reasonably priced and available that day. I've used Ed before for some minor electrical work, and this time was no different. He quickly diagnoses the problem, gets it fixed, he's a pleasure to chat with (he has that dry sense of humor that I love), and his prices are very fair (I never feel jipped when he leaves...in fact, I typically think that's it?). I highly recommend Ed for all of your electrical needs. You will be extremely pleased with his services and your wallet won't be empty:-)

These guys are amazing!  We moved into 99-year old house and had no idea what the wiring was like.  I removed a fixture to put in a new ceiling fan and had no idea what I was looking at, but I did know that it crumbled in my fingers.  It turned out to be cloth wiring so we called these guys and could not be happier with the work they did.  They were beyond respectful of our space, were creative with their solutions for replacing the wiring to minimize cutting into walls, were on time and dependable every day, were friendly, and were extremely competent.   It's a family-run business and it really felt like it was their home they were working on when they were here.  I highly recommend them to anyone needing anything electrical done in your home.

Top notch business with buttoned up employees! Unfortunately we have many electrical issues at our home and we stick with Alternating Currents. Today James diagnosed the issue we had with a dedicated microwave outlet , explained everything throughly and corrected the issue. He then triple checked the wiring in the junction box and aligning areas. He was a pleasure to have in our home too!
