Best Electricians in Illinois
Had an issue with an outdoor electrical outlet that impacted my landscape lighting. Called the main number at 8:30am and Noel was at my house by 3pm (exactly when he said he would arrive). He diagnosed and fixed the problem in under an hour at a reasonable price. Had no prior experience with this company but will be using them for electrical issues going forward.

Had Mike Verdone up grade my electric to my home. He was recommended to me by the village of Hillside. He is an honest guy did the work he said he was going to do, and at the price he said he was going to do it at. He always returned my phone calls , and explained in detail what he had to do , to bring my electric service up to village code. I was very happy with mike's work, and if I ever need any more electric work done he will be the first one I will call.
If i could give him 6 stars I would

Not only did he check out the things in my new condo that I had on my to-do/to-fix list, but he offered to check a few other things out while he was there. Also, was very good about letting me watch him work so I could potentially fix things on my own in the future.

I have availed services of Aardvark Electric many times. They have provided excellent service. Frank is very knowledgeable and provides insights into the work when you schedule. His team members are always on time, courteous and professional. I have never had any issues with the work performed. My last service was to replace some hideous kitchen lights with pendants. Chris came on time and wore a mask the whole time. He made sure that the pendants were installed the way I wanted them, they were at the correct height and placed in the middle of the kitchen island.

I had Remi from Current Electrical come by today to fix some electrical inspection items in my new home as well as evaluate the overall state of my electrical.
Scheduling the appointment required a couple of phone calls to coordinate. The first time I tried, I called around lunch and never got a callback. The second time I called, I contacted them first thing in the morning and scheduling the service was a breeze. Don was able to provide me a fair-priced quote over the phone and scheduled for an electrician to come out the next week.
Remi contacted me about 30 minutes before he arrived and showed up on time. He was able to quickly fix all of my problems within an hour along with explanations of why things were broken and how to prevent them in the future.
I was very happy with the service I received and will gladly hire Current Electrical again in the future.

NOTHING BETTER! And I should know. As a builder, general contractor and real estate developer for over 25 years I've never seen anything better, faster, cleaner and round-about even a difficult post in the wall. In under an hour I got a whole new outlet with not a scratch on our fancy drywall. What was bid way more by others, Skyline Electric did for just the price of a service call. In all my many years of planning, bidding, hiring, supervising and coordinating electrical contractors for award winning multi-million dollar homes, apartments, commercial, etc., I've never seen anything like how well Skyline worked! The back-office kept in touch by text and phone. Kent, my technician too! The entire experience was perfect. The outlet we needed to be in an exact spot and it is. I thought anyone would have to make a big hole in the drywall, just to see and work around a column. Kent did it by the touch and feel that only comes with years of insight and seeing through the wall. He insisted that he clean up perfectly and did. I'd say more glowing remarks but time prevents. USE SKYLINE ELECTRIC in all caps is the best I can say!

Quick service and installation of a tricky light fixture! Took two hours for a new chandelier, but that was with needing to do a little re-wiring. Professional and easy to work with!

I am very pleased with the service and scheduling from LMV. I had timers and outdoor lights installed. I would recommend them and I will use them in the future when I have an electrical issue or install. Cash or check is preferred method of payment.

I was impressed with the reviews of Vilano Electric, so I decided to use them to move a power line in the back of my house. He showed up right on time, and his crew were done so quickly. He even added a second brace to ensure that there was no movement of the line with the high winds we were having. I then asked him a quick question about my breaker panel in my new house, and he said he would take a look. He took out his screwdriver, explained what was happening, and gave me so much information to work with. I had a better idea of the safety of the electrical in my home, and was confident that when we saved for the big project, that I would call Vilano again.

The lights in our whole house were flickering. We had an electrician come out who said the main panel was bad and that the whole kitchen had to be re-wired. They said the house was at risk of burning down. They gave me an estimate for $18,000!
Todd from Hardt Electric was my second opinion. He came in, took a look at the panel, tightened up some connections and now the lights do not flicker. Problem solved. My bill? $152... Todd went on to explain that the panel could use some work and that the wiring in my kitchen is indeed old, but it is not so bad that it needs to be replace immediately. He offered to take care of the same problems at his hourly rate, which will end up saving me about $16,000 over the first company.
Todd listened to my problem and fixed it. He did not try to scare me into buying a bunch of upgrades I do not need.

He never hesitate, to respond. I am very please with him getting back to in such a short time. That lets me know he is about Business, So I am hoping he will help me with my project. If we agree on things and he take my project, I will be back to update this review.

I would not trust or recommend any other company than RED Electric. I was so lucky they were referred to me. Ed and his team are truly fantastic, professional and provided super high quality work. I had my entire house (1939 Georgian) rewired and upgraded to a 200 amp panel, plus they removed a ton of old low-voltage wires. It was about 3 weeks worth of work total and lots of holes in the walls but totally worth it to have a safe, newly wired home. Emilio was the main technician at my house. He was so nice and friendly and professional. Not only did he do great work, he helped me practice my spanish and my skills improved dramatically while he was here. Even the inspector who came over knew of Ed and his team and said he has one of the best electric companies out there and is highly respected. So do yourself a favor, just go with Ed and his team, don't bother with anyone else.

As I type this review, a crew from Alternating Currents is in the middle of a big job on my 1947-built brick ranch with plaster walls. They're updating our panel from 100 amp service to 200 (w/power surge protection), adding a dozen or so much-needed outlets throughout the house, putting ceiling lights in our living room, installing a new fancy exhaust fan with heater in a chilly basement bathroom, and creating the necessary additional circuits to distribute the power accordingly. Today is Day Three of this endeavor. The crew is taking great care to keep the cuts and dust to a minimum, but it's a messy project. The crew leaders have been listening and responding to our needs, advising us every step of the way. They're notifying us and getting approval before making any cuts into the walls and ceilings. While we've taken steps to move many belongings out to the garage, they are deftly working around our stuff. And they've been very patient with our overly-curious and somewhat protective mutt. Since the job is still in progress, I'll follow up with additional info. at later date.
