Noel was great to work with and they did great work.  I wanted new lighting in several rooms in my house.  He gave me a fair estimate, was quick to schedule the work, and made recommendations based on what I wanted.  I would highly recommend them and I am glad to say that I have an electrician for any future projects.

Awesome service. Super helpful.  He just gets done what needs to be done and isn't freaked out about messy projects. Mike helped me with 2 projects in the past - I needed a backup generator wired up to my garage sub-panel and his crew got it done quickly.

I also had a small basement water leak behind another home's electrical box - so I needed an electrician and leak sealer present at the same time. Mike was able to work with our schedules to get the job done - he removed the entire box and gave us access to the leak to seal up, then he re-assembled it back to normal.  Really happy with his old school style of getting things done.

I have been living in the building for roughly four years and the garage lights has always been an issue.  The lights were always super dim and we never gotten around to getting it fixed.  Finally, I gave in and reached out to a few electricians to get this looked at.

Victor was one of the three electricians I had to come out and look at the issue.  He took the time to open up the existing fixtures to diagnose the issue (ballast issue).  He presented me with an option to get sensors and to switch to LED fixtures to help be eco friendly and to save some wear on tear on the fixtures.  He came in a few weeks later after the parts came in and installed the fixtures.  Now, the garage is fully lit and we could not be happier with the results.  The big issue now we can see how dirty the garage is!

Peter McCarthy is an incredible professional, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.  He is responsive to phone calls/emails, and he was quick to work us in to his schedule when we wanted repairs done quickly.  He is incredibly knowledgeable about all things electrical and will patiently explain anything to you -- even if you are a novice.  Prices are reasonable and work is done on time as scheduled.  I would not hesitate to recommend or use his electrical company again.

We had a number of separate electrical needs, have never used AArdvark before.  Had a great initial call with Frank to review the number of small projects.  Then Mike came over and worked non-stop for 1.5 hours completing all projects - even though some were not all that straight forward.  Very upfront about cost (we had to replace 2 outlets).  On time, clean, friendly and honest.  Very happy with outcome and will use these guys from now on.  Highly recommended.

I had Remi from Current Electrical come by today to fix some electrical inspection items in my new home as well as evaluate the overall state of my electrical.

Scheduling the appointment required a couple of phone calls to coordinate. The first time I tried, I called around lunch and never got a callback. The second time I called, I contacted them first thing in the morning and scheduling the service was a breeze. Don was able to provide me a fair-priced quote over the phone and scheduled for an electrician to come out the next week.

Remi contacted me about 30 minutes before he arrived and showed up on time. He was able to quickly fix all of my problems within an hour along with explanations of why things were broken and how to prevent them in the future.

I was very happy with the service I received and will gladly hire Current Electrical again in the future.

Yet another 5-star review for Kent!  I'd been saving up a bunch of little and big-ish electrical jobs in my house for a while and finally decided to bite the bullet. I hired Kent based on the yelp reviews and was NOT disappointed.  He and Jeannette (his scheduler) were SO attentive and communicative with me from the get-go.  He was slammed with some huge emergency kind of jobs for bigger clients, but he and Jeannette made sure to schedule time for my non-emergency stuff, and even offered to come to my place on an evening or weekend for no extra charge.

He really considers every job equally important.  His pricing was very competitive, and my jobs (from switching out some hanging lamps, putting in a new halogen bulb, to bigger jobs like bringing an electrical outlet to my outdoor deck) were not going to make him a millionaire, but he treated me like they would. He's a perfectionist and wouldn't allow my lamp to hang from the ceiling any way but the exact length and direction I wanted.

Plus he's so much fun to work with.  He's hilarious, down to earth, and has stories that will blow your mind.  At the same time, he's extremely professional, knowledgable and meticulous about his work.  He comes from a long line of electricians in his family and takes his work and your safety very seriously.

And i haven't even mentioned Bob yet.  Bob came with Kent the second time out, and he was just as warm, friendly and professional as Kent.  My house presented loads of century-old challenges to them, but they did NOT charge me extra for the extra work.  They stayed true to their quote.  I love these guys and feel like I have electricians in the family now.  I'll definitely be calling Kent for my next job.

Out of 7  Companies the only one who could come on that Day.  A bit high, but the price is displayed on the web site.  On  time and in and out in 30 minutes.  Very nice . I would hire again

We needed our old smoke detector fixed. Volodymyr was quick, straightforward, and professional. He also replied to messages within a reasonable time frame. Highly recommend!

I'm in the process of buying a home and needed estimates on some fixes after the inspector reviewed the home. I messaged LMV and they called me within 5 minutes giving me ranges of estimates for my questions even though they didn't have all the necessary information. They called me back again after i had forgotten to ask another question within a couple minutes and once again gave me estimates on a variety of possibilities. They were quick and very informative and you can't ask for more.

Sometimes you need just a little bit of common sense help. I  have a vacant apartment and after a couple of months remodeling and expensive problem after problem, I went to show the apt to prospective tenants and none of the lights would come on. NO ELECTRICITY whatsoever.  I panicked as I need to rent this apt and I am stone-cold out of money. I cried as I figured  that I would now have to deal with an expensive electrical problem in an old building. So I call Todd to make an appointment.  He hears my problem and quickly suggests that I call Com Ed. What??  DUH! Of course they turned off the lights as I had not put the electricity in my name.   He wast the 4th Electrician I called and no one else suggested anything.  Simple, easy and free. Service does not get better than that. I do have another ( hopefully ) small electrical need. Guess who's doing the work? :)

I am amazed that I am the first person to review this company. Any one who owns property knows how wonderful (and difficult) it is to find a professional, reliable, funny, and super friendly electrician/plumber/contractor/handyman. Well, with Ed, I found The One. He's just fantastic in every way. I recently hired him to repair the doorbells at my two-flat and, as always, he was reasonably priced and available that day. I've used Ed before for some minor electrical work, and this time was no different. He quickly diagnoses the problem, gets it fixed, he's a pleasure to chat with (he has that dry sense of humor that I love), and his prices are very fair (I never feel jipped when he leaves...in fact, I typically think that's it?). I highly recommend Ed for all of your electrical needs. You will be extremely pleased with his services and your wallet won't be empty:-)

Steve & Quinn did a ton of electrical work in our house, including but not limited to all of the wiring in our kitchen, powder room, and home office.  They even pointed out that our smoke/carbon monoxide detectors were past the end of their useful life and should be replaced.  We were very impressed with their timeliness, professionalism, and work product.  I  recommend AM & L without hesitation.

As I type this review, a crew from Alternating Currents is in the middle of a big job on my 1947-built brick ranch with plaster walls. They're updating our panel from 100 amp service to 200 (w/power surge protection), adding a dozen or so much-needed outlets throughout the house, putting ceiling lights in our living room, installing a new fancy exhaust fan with heater in a chilly basement bathroom, and creating the necessary additional circuits to distribute the power accordingly. Today is Day Three of this endeavor. The crew is taking great care to keep the cuts and dust to a minimum, but it's a messy project. The crew leaders have been listening and responding to our needs, advising us every step of the way. They're notifying us and getting approval before making any cuts into the walls and ceilings. While we've taken steps to move many belongings out to the garage, they are deftly working around our stuff. And they've been very patient with our overly-curious and somewhat protective mutt. Since the job is still in progress, I'll follow up with additional info. at later date.
