I can't recommend Alltown Electric enough. I called Alltown a few months ago and left a voicemail. When I got chatting to Noel the same day, he said he would stop by on his way home to fit my chandelier. While he was here, he also fixed an outlet for me that was tripping and gave me some longer screws I would need for another DIY job I was working on. He was so helpful and so genuine. I'll definitely call him for any electric projects going forward and I've recommended him to all my family. Find a good tradesperson and you're set. I'm glad I found a great electrician!!

Mike V immediately responded to our inquiry; provided a reasonable quote for the amount of things we needed done in our older home; did an excellent job; and we are extremely pleased with everything he did.  He was professional, honest, very hard working, friendly, easy to communicate with, and we will not hesitate to call Mike V back for all future needs whether small or big.  Thank you, Mike V!

Victor did a great job for us on short notice.  Helped us with several projects including a bad fuse, and install of a new light fixture.  Explained everything well, and price was fair.  Would highly recommend.

I called to see if they would be able to come out to west Aurora, but I was outside of their service area unfortunately. Even though I was, Frank still spent around 20 minutes on the phone with me to try to troubleshoot the problem. I really appreciate him taking the time to try to work through the issue so I would not have to have an electrician out. I was not able to resolve the problem on the phone, but am very thankful for his help!

One of the best experiences with a contractor I can remember.

Eric walked me through the Tesla wall charger and the scope of work, warning the pipe would have to be painted/covered to look good, and I agreed.

I was quoted a couple weeks out, and a fair price compared to what other Tesla owners were charged by other contractors

Their installers Movie and Even, came out on time, warned me about the cosmetic pipe issue a 2nd time, and finished earlier than promised.

We are new to the area and Kent was recommended to us by one of our friends.  He installed lights in multiple rooms very professionally. He went above and beyond by helping us. I would highly recommend him and will definitely use him again.

Super helpful and professional from beginning to end. Their quote was very reasonable. They were able to give us an accurate quote from several photos and did an exceptional job installing our pool table light. They ran electricity from the nearest source and left absolutely no damage when we were anticipating having to do dry wall repair! We will definitely use them for future electric needs!

Eugene explained clearly the problems and solutions.  He really knows his stuff.  He arrived and finished on time. Price was very good, a bit less than I thought it would be.

I have worked with other electricians, but won't anymore, since meeting Todd (Hardt Electric.)  Todd fixed the problems no one else could (fuses kept shutting off) and then recommended us upgrading to LEDs and dimmers to save money in the long run, which he did.  He even showed me how to do the easy stuff to save money.  Most highly recommend!

Rosso did a great job with the shower faucet, replaced a light switch and 4 ceiling lamps for me.

I would not trust or recommend any other company than RED Electric. I was so lucky they were referred to me. Ed and his team are truly fantastic, professional and provided super high quality work. I had my entire house (1939 Georgian) rewired and upgraded to a 200 amp panel, plus they removed a ton of old low-voltage wires. It was about 3 weeks worth of work total and lots of holes in the walls but totally worth it  to have a safe, newly wired home. Emilio was the main technician at my house. He was so nice and friendly and professional. Not only did he do great work, he helped me practice my spanish and my skills improved dramatically while he was here. Even the inspector who came over knew of Ed and his team and said he has one of the best electric companies out there and is highly respected.  So do yourself a favor, just go with Ed and his team, don't bother with anyone else.

AM&L was referred by my Oak Park based Plumber. I spoke with the owner, Steve.  AM&L installed an exhaust bathroom fan/heater/light combo unit.  My house is 121 year old Oak Park Victorian. Dave, the electrician and his assistant worked diligently through a few challenges over a two day period to run the wires  - all inside from the basement floor circuit box to the second floor.  AML was very reliable, consistently followed Covid protocol and did an outstanding job. The best electrician I have hired in my 28 years in Oak Park. Highly recommended!

Jim and Dave were prompt, courteous and cleaned up their work. They worked through a day long list that included replacing outdated outlets            (inside and outside), installing new ceiling fans and clearing circuit routing issues. They provided clear, practical options when questions arose. In short , they were a pleasure to work with as were the office staff in preparing the final estimate.
