Best Electricians in Illinois

Never showed up for my scheduled 7:30am appointment. Never returned my call to see if they were coming. Unprofessional. I took the day off to have them come do a half day of work at my home.

Mike V immediately responded to our inquiry; provided a reasonable quote for the amount of things we needed done in our older home; did an excellent job; and we are extremely pleased with everything he did.  He was professional, honest, very hard working, friendly, easy to communicate with, and we will not hesitate to call Mike V back for all future needs whether small or big.  Thank you, Mike V!

Victor was great to deal with. He was able to give me a fair estimate and did what he said. Will hire again and recommend him to friends and family. If you're looking for a job well done by a licensed electrician at a fair price, look no further

Well, Peter McCarthy never returned my calls.

What service should be. Called with my kitchen outlet issues and spoke with Frank. Very kind had Kris in the area so within the hour had someone at my house. Kris was able to find and fix the problem very quickly and professionally. Took Kris about an hour, I had spent a couple days trying to fix it myself. My kitchen outlets are fully operational now. Give these guys a call if you are looking for true electricians. Thanks Frank and Kris!

We used Current Electrical to do some jobs several months ago, our experiences with them were positive.  Everyone from this company came across as polite and friendly.  Dylan and Julian came on Halloween to change 6 light bulbs on our super high ceiling and install an electric mirror in one of our bathrooms.  They did a good job and Julian was a dare devil who was absolutely fearless of height.  However, when they worked on the jobs outdoors, they encountered one of the worst winter storms on Halloween day, and could not finish all the jobs (not their faults).  I need to give a special shout-out to Andy, who came several days later to finish the job. Andy looked at an additional problem that I showed him outdoors (we didn't notice that before), and decided that we only need to replace a socket of one of the ground lights.  He said he would bring it when he's in the area and replace that for us for free!  Later I found out that the mighty post that Dylan and Julian installed had 2 broken plastic plates.  Maybe they didn't see them as there was a bad winter storm when they were here.  I emailed Don at Current, he immediately responded and promised to re-order the mighty post and would re-install for free.  When Andy came with the post about a couple of weeks later, he was able to just replace the plates without digging out the post and replace that.  I was pleasantly surprised that he still remembered the socket that he mentioned!  He supplied and replaced that for free.  I am very pleased with Andy's honesty, ability and knowledge, great work ethic and attitude!

Skyline Electric was AWESOME to work with!  They showed up exactly around when they said they would and completed all the work quickly.  They also went above and beyond by recommending that I not change all of the outlets that I originally was going to since they checked each one and tightened everything and they looked good!  I appreciated the honesty and that they still checked them and tightened everything up.  Great company & I will definitely be using them for all my future electrical needs!

Two problem with my past experience with the company
1. The estimates they quoted are so much higher than others.
2. The business owner is not open for price negotiation and seems very inpatient.

The good part is the technician Jose explains things in great details and is very patient when answering questions.

We needed our old smoke detector fixed. Volodymyr was quick, straightforward, and professional. He also replied to messages within a reasonable time frame. Highly recommend!

I had a dining room light fixture that kept flickering on and off. I also needed a GFCI installed for the garbage disposal & outlet by the kitchen sink. I called Monday and spoke to Maggie who was very pleasant and professional. She advised me to get a new light fixture in case the old one was not worth fixing. An appointment was made for Wednesday morning. Lukasz, the electrician, was on time and did a terrific job. Installed the new dining room fixture & had him do 3 GFCI's in the kitchen.
Very satisfied with the prompt response & service.
Price was fair. I would definitely recommend this company.

Eugene explained clearly the problems and solutions.  He really knows his stuff.  He arrived and finished on time. Price was very good, a bit less than I thought it would be.

Todd Hardt came and fixed an outdoor lighting and wiring issue.  He was prompt, meticulous, and knowledgeable about wiring.  He was efficient, trustworthy, and went the extra mile.  I would recommend him to anyone needing an electrician.

He replaced a light fixture in our bedroom,it was an older electrical setup,he was able to figure it out and installed a new fixture.This is the second time I've used him and will be calling him again,I highly recommend him.

Ed and his team are simply amazing. I've used him at least three times and feel badly for not writing a review sooner. This last job was a big one. He and his people were always on time, super thorough, incredibly knowledgeable, very conscientious and more than fair/competitive on rates. Small jobs to wiring a brand new commercial building - do yourself a favor and call Ed. Guys/companies like him are hard to find. Besides, he as a personality and is a pleasure to work with.

Called AM&L to repair some exposed wires in my garage but they are too busy with other jobs to do the work at all ever.

They installed a ceiling fan in one of our rooms. Our kids room which is also the hottest room in the house. The job ended up being much more difficult than anticipated because of some poorly done existing wiring. Jeff was awesome with us though. So professional. So kind. He did a tremendous job. Would use him anytime. Highly recommended.
