Noel and Kieran did a very professional job of installing a Tesla charger in my garage.  They were on-time, prepared, efficient, and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable and experienced.  In addition, they made it a point to clean up the area before they left.   They were an absolute pleasure to do business with and I will definitely call them again for future electrical needs.

Sunday night half of the power in my home went out. I called Mike first thing Monday morning and he instructed me to have Com Ed come out and take a look (even gave me their number). Com Ed came out and explained the problem to me. I called Mike who broke his schedule after learning that we had no heat and immediately came over.
He went above and beyond any and all expectations I had and restored our power for a very reasonable price.
I have to note that Monday morning I spoke with 4 different electricians, Mike was the only one who told me to contact Com Ed. There was someone else who came out , but he turned the job down. Mike was the only one who took a genuine interest in helping me. Mike at Advance is now my go to guy for all things electrical. Thanks Mike!!!

Needed to extend electricity from our second floor unit in a townhome to our rooftop. Since there's a third floor unit between our unit and a rooftop, the job was a bit tedious. Victor not only gave us a fair price but also was very prompt and got the job done quickly and neatly. We now have power on our rooftop and are very happy with high quality service offered by Victor!

I have used these guys several times for small-ish jobs, and I cannot recommend these guys enough.  Prompt, thorough, and fair.  If there is a better electrician on the south side, I'd be surprised.

I found Frank a couple years ago when I needed some updates and code issues resolved. He's super knowledgeable and honest!

Our most recent business with Frank was a hot tub installation. The location of the tub posed some issues making the electrical end of it more complex than normal. Frank came in with the best ideas and a creative solution. His price couldn't be beat and the final result is gorgeous. No visible cables or conduit. He did a super job. I will be using Franks services again soon.

This company is as good as it gets!  So professional and courteous!  They were always on time, respected my home, left it cleaner than when they arrived, were friendly and knowledgeable.  The work they did was fantastic. I would completely recommend them for any electrical work that needed to be done!

I hired Skyline Electric to upgrade my electric service so I would have enough amperage in my breaker box to power a tankless water heater.

Kent was able to upgrade my panel to handle the additional load and - I gained a whole new closet by getting rid of the tank. If you live in a small place without much storage, consider hiring Kent to upgrade your service for you so you, too, can lose the tank and gain a closet. With a tankless water heater, you have an unlimited supply of hot water. Take as many showers as you like, you'll never run out.

The work required two visits. He was always on time - or kept me posted if he was going to be a little behind. Super nice guy. Seemed to be totally qualified and has a great sense of humor to boot.

I would not trust or recommend any other company than RED Electric. I was so lucky they were referred to me. Ed and his team are truly fantastic, professional and provided super high quality work. I had my entire house (1939 Georgian) rewired and upgraded to a 200 amp panel, plus they removed a ton of old low-voltage wires. It was about 3 weeks worth of work total and lots of holes in the walls but totally worth it  to have a safe, newly wired home. Emilio was the main technician at my house. He was so nice and friendly and professional. Not only did he do great work, he helped me practice my spanish and my skills improved dramatically while he was here. Even the inspector who came over knew of Ed and his team and said he has one of the best electric companies out there and is highly respected.  So do yourself a favor, just go with Ed and his team, don't bother with anyone else.

AM&L was referred by my Oak Park based Plumber. I spoke with the owner, Steve.  AM&L installed an exhaust bathroom fan/heater/light combo unit.  My house is 121 year old Oak Park Victorian. Dave, the electrician and his assistant worked diligently through a few challenges over a two day period to run the wires  - all inside from the basement floor circuit box to the second floor.  AML was very reliable, consistently followed Covid protocol and did an outstanding job. The best electrician I have hired in my 28 years in Oak Park. Highly recommended!

Had an emergency situation and within a hour Martin was out at the property and we had power again.  He was so kind to not charge a emergency fee on a Friday night after hours!
