I contacted Alltown in December and was very disappointed. I made an inquiry and informed Noel I would call him right back once I spoke to my spouse. I called back five minutes later, no answer. Called back again, no answer. Sent a message, no answer...lol still no answer.

I was only trying to spend money...shrugs...

Sunday night half of the power in my home went out. I called Mike first thing Monday morning and he instructed me to have Com Ed come out and take a look (even gave me their number). Com Ed came out and explained the problem to me. I called Mike who broke his schedule after learning that we had no heat and immediately came over.
He went above and beyond any and all expectations I had and restored our power for a very reasonable price.
I have to note that Monday morning I spoke with 4 different electricians, Mike was the only one who told me to contact Com Ed. There was someone else who came out , but he turned the job down. Mike was the only one who took a genuine interest in helping me. Mike at Advance is now my go to guy for all things electrical. Thanks Mike!!!

Victor was great to work with. He was able to replace two bedroom sconces and run an extra wire to install a dual fan/light dimmer switch. He was courteous, timely, knowledgeable, and up front about the cost of the job and what needed to be done. We would certainly hire him again. Thanks.

I had a couple of small projects after an inspection on my house (I was trying to sell at the time). Peter McCarthy did a great job. He was personal and explained things very clearly to me. I did have to call him a couple of times to get a hold of him, but that wasn't a big deal to me. I would recommend.

So I was having a washer/dryer delivered and when the delivery people arrived they told me I could not have it put in since my previous washer/dryer was hardwired and they said I needed to have someone come install a new outlet.  

I looked around for an electrician to get some quotes and Jeannette who runs the office was extremely responsive and helpful with what I needed to do in order to make sure the job was able to be done correctly.  (No other company even got back to me)

I was not expecting them to be able to get here same day, but within a couple of hours from when I initially reached out Kent (the supervising electrician) was on his way over and did an amazing/fast/clean job.  

I will now never need to look for another electrician as Skyline has my business for the next couple of projects that need to get done.

My A/C died when it was 95 out and 24/7 was super responsive and got me a great unit at a great costs in just a day. A lot of places were week+ for a new unit and a lot more expensive. They came back to make sure everything was installed properly and went the extra mile.

Quick service and installation of a tricky light fixture! Took two hours for a new chandelier, but that was with needing to do a little re-wiring. Professional and easy to work with!

The lights in our whole house were flickering. We had an electrician come out who said the main panel was bad and that the whole kitchen had to be re-wired. They said the house was at risk of burning down. They gave me an estimate for $18,000!

Todd from Hardt Electric was my second opinion. He came in, took a look at the panel, tightened up some connections and now the lights do not flicker. Problem solved. My bill? $152... Todd went on to explain that the panel could use some work and that the wiring in my kitchen is indeed old, but it is not so bad that it needs to be replace immediately. He offered to take care of the same problems at his hourly rate, which will end up saving me about $16,000 over the first company.

Todd listened to my problem and fixed it. He did not try to scare me into buying a bunch of upgrades I do not need.

Well, I read all these great reviews but unfortunately, I had a very different experience with Mo's work. He was hired to switch out an over the sink bathroom light. The job took less than 20 minutes and he charged $230.00, I felt it was a lot high for 20 mins of work, but I agreed. Anyway, he didn't center the light over the sink, and I was very unhappy with the result and let him know it. He got very defensive telling me that it was impossible to center the light over the sink, without moving the electrical box housing the wires, this would entail him putting a hole in the wall, patching the wall and that would cost an additional $180.00 to do and he didn't have the time that day and would have to come back when he was in the area. That brings the cost now to install to $410.00! I was so upset that after he left, with my mother's help, I removed the light from the wall and located the electrical box behind the fixture. I found that all I had to do was remove the 3 anchoring screws on the holding plate, move the holding plate over an inch to be centered over the sink, reinstall the screws in new hole, then rehang the light, to center over the sink.
The next day, though he told me that he rarely comes to my area, he wanted to come by and center the light, and make that easy $180.00. I told him I no thanks and goodbye.  I don't like feeling that I was taken advantage of, but I was.

I am amazed that I am the first person to review this company. Any one who owns property knows how wonderful (and difficult) it is to find a professional, reliable, funny, and super friendly electrician/plumber/contractor/handyman. Well, with Ed, I found The One. He's just fantastic in every way. I recently hired him to repair the doorbells at my two-flat and, as always, he was reasonably priced and available that day. I've used Ed before for some minor electrical work, and this time was no different. He quickly diagnoses the problem, gets it fixed, he's a pleasure to chat with (he has that dry sense of humor that I love), and his prices are very fair (I never feel jipped when he leaves...in fact, I typically think that's it?). I highly recommend Ed for all of your electrical needs. You will be extremely pleased with his services and your wallet won't be empty:-)

Fantastic company.  Marty came out to my house to go over some options and give us a quote.  Once we paid our deposit we were put on the calendar, they showed up on time, did the work in the contract and cleaned up.  His employees are all very nice and do nice work.  I would definitely use Alternating Current again and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of electrical work.
