We needed a low voltage wire re-ran through our ceiling, down a wall out to our furnace. Another company did not want to do it so we called OneStop. They came out early in the day to complete, had to cut 2 access points in the drywall to run it, connected it as needed, and cleaned everything up. It took about 2 hours, very professionally done.

Robert came up to change a backup sump pump that failed. He was very responsive, insightful and helpful. After multiple checks, he determined that the sump pump failed but was still under warranty so he was able to replace and get a new sump pump to us within 2 hours from his original visit. As soon as we found out we had an ejector pump fail, I immediately began calling multiple plumbers to come on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend. OneStop stepped up with a speedy reply and was able to help me out the same day.

They also provided me with the quote upfront so I knew what to expect.

They were friendly and professional.

It may be worth reading this whole review:
My estimate began with a comedy of errors--to begin, not prepared with tape measure and immense disrespect to their own staff on site while barking orders, leaving me uncomfortable.
-We get inside... begins showing something me by tracing a box on my painted wall with his screw driver?!
-Quote was more than 200% the cost of two other electricians I obtained a bid from.
-*it gets worse... took my panel apart and was tapping everything in the panel with his screw driver (I have two electric cars and solar panels feeding through that panel--over 250k in assets) and came to find out he tripped breaker which caused the need for tesla to arrive onsite and troubleshoot. (Remember this was all for a bid... quite scary how they'd perform an actual job)

**Here is the worst of it... I called and asked for owner/manager to call me. I get a call from, turns out to be the guy who was onsite but didn't share that it was him and was talking in third person the entire time. He allows me to finish and then proceeds to call me derogatory names and notes to me that he doesn't have a quoting system for unreasonable people like me, that's why my price was so high... hmmmm???

Personally, not the organization I desire performing working at my homes. He runs a business and had zero ability to control his temper and manage the situation with any level of maturity or professionalism.

I have an attorney preparing a letter for their insurance company in order to provide color on what has taken place.

I'm case you are eating, I will spare you the details of why one might need a plumber asap. I called OneStop and they were there within an hour. When it required a different crew, they were there an hour later. Robert and his assistant. were polite, thorough and general lifesavers. Even showed us the camera footage so we could see the issue. Going forward, they will be the only plumbers we call

We have been working for 2 weeks to get our dryer hooked up and everyone requires an appointment just for an estimate. So still waiting and going to the laundromat. We got an estimate from OneStop and they were very punctual and super thorough and nice. Their estimate was $250 than my other 2 for the dryer and the removal of an old walk-in bathtub, putting in a new one and then wall and floor tile was close to $10k without materials. Seems pricey to me but what do I know?

Original Review Below.

Got most of the job done, but wouldn't use OneStop again for electrical work.

I needed help installing a new doorbell transformer and running the power through 2 specific wires already at my front door. The reason I say specific is because I had custom equipment that would let me wire a smart doorbell into a vintage intercom system.

The electrician seemed upset with the request, and kept ignoring what I was asking him to do. Instead, he did things his way and severed wires such that I can't use the electronic chime in my intercom anymore. The solution was he insisted I buy a regular doorbell chime and install it myself.

I kept reiterating I only wanted him to install the transformer and run power from it, nothing else. I did not want him trying to complete install or integrate with the intercom. So, I was disappointed in the end result.

The next task I needed help with was running speaker wire to 6 locations in our home. The electrician said one of the locations wasn't possible so I didn't push on it. (He still charged me for all 6 at the end.)

While running speaker wire in our home, he cut 2 large holes in our walls (to look for studs) and told me I'd need to fix them myself. Suggested I buy spray foam. He didn't ask me before cutting holes, he just showed me the holes after the fact.

Our condo building had a broken boiler pipe on Christmas Eve and the entire first floor of the building was flooding. I called One Stop (Robert) frantically at 8 in the morning for help. Robert arrived to the building in 10 minutes and quickly repaired our pipe. He was professional and very quickly remedied the problem. I can't say enough good things about this service. Robert was our hero on Christmas Eve. This is the kind of service to shout about, thanks Robert and One Stop plumbing.

The night between the 2 hottest days of the year and our AC decides to stop working. I reached out to a bunch of companies that night and OneStop Pro took our appointment the next morning and showed-up earlier any other companies could have (understandable given the climate). All along the way they were communicative of updates via email/text/phone. Robert took our call and he very quickly diagnosed the issue. We had a mouse that decided to act as a jumper in our capacitor! Robert and OneStop Pro replaced the capacitor and had the AC running in less than 30 minutes! He even cleaned out all the cottonwood that had quickly built up around the unit over the last week. Thank you Robert and the OneStop Pro team from our family. You quickly restored order to the house through central air!

Had them come out and give me a quote on a new AC. The technician was on time and they sent me a quote the same day.

I did not end up going with them since they were on the high side. To their defense it was a Trane unit they were quoting but with only a 5 year parts/labor. Usually most units have 1 year labor and 10 year parts.

BEWARE!!! of this company. They quoted me $45000 on a job that 6 other companies quoted less than $10000.I ended up getting it done for $9500..The following day they came out and lowered their quote to $32000..I was a loyal customer who has spent thousands of dollars with them over several years. There is not much more that I can say. I will never have them in my home again.

My toilet started malfunctioning and needed to be repaired. Panic. OneStop responded quickly via Yelp was available the soonest out of all respondents.

Josh from OneStop showed up, diagnosed the issue and had it repaired and done in less than 30 minutes. He also answered all of my concerns and offered multiple solutions to solve the problem and to address any future needs.

I've had great experiences with OneStop over the past few years with an old AC unit on its last legs beginning to go out periodically and having to replace parts.

Their prices are fair and the service is super friendly and knowledgeable from scheduling someone to come out to the technicians themselves! I've had the pleasure of working with both Robert's and I would highly recommend OneStop for any of your heating/cooling needs. I never felt like I was being charged for extra services I didn't need or being pitched, just cut to the chase with friendliness and efficiency.

Most other companies I tried to get in contact with to come out to see my unit didn't have availability until next week but I've been able to have my AC fixed within 24 hours each time, and I can't imagine wanting to give my business to anyone else but them now.

Onestop Pros are awesome! I've been using them since I moved to the Wheaton/Winfield area a few years ago and they've always exceeded my expectations. My last visit with Robert was wonderful because he jumped at the chance to help repair a dry vent that was dislodged during installation of my new dryer earlier that day. This was on top of the scheduled HVAC checks and looking at a minor plumbing issue. These handymen always give great advice to help save money and do simple DIY things. Thank you :)

Canceled first appointment at the last minute. Showed up the at the rescheduled time and did a partial diagnostic. Didn't bother to check half of the outlets that weren't working. Hired another electrician who actually was able to diagnose and fix the problem. They did wear a mask so 1 additional star for that, but definitely not a company I'd do business with again.

EDIT/UPDATE: Business owner contacted me after posting this review and was willing to make an effort to improve my experience overall which was appreciated. By this point, the work was completed by someone else so it's difficult to comment on the quality of the work, but customer experience was improved.

We called OneStop to replace a kitchen faucet. Josh and Mitch (really nice guys and a great team) came out after we scheduled it and brought the exact faucet I was asking for. They replaced it in about 15-20 minutes!

Unfortunately, right after they left, there was a leakage around the base of the faucet that started to show. I called them 15 minutes after because I realized it wasn't anything I could fix.

They IMMEDIATELY came back without a single hint of impatience and realized that the brand new faucet was faulty. They went out, bought another one that was even more expensive (at no extra charge to me) and replaced it and made extra sure it didn't leak.

You can't ask for anything better than that. Something went wrong, wasn't their fault, and they immediately and politely fixed it. I'll be calling them whenever I need any plumbing, heating, or air conditioning help!!! These fellas are great!

OneStop Pro has been a great resource for us as new homeowners over the past year. Robert recently came to fix our furnace which had stopped working - never a great thing to happen in the winter months! Robert came out the same day we called, identified the issue in a short time, and came back later that day with the part needed to fix our furnace. Our furnace stopped on a Monday afternoon, when the temperatures were in the negatives. OneStop answered my call in the evening thanks to their emergency line, and had Robert out 8am the next day to help fix the problem and get heat running again!

Robert was super knowledgeable and talked me through his evaluation and came to the same conclusion I had (I'm an engineer). Final price was $475 for the replacement of a $25 limit switch! But that's what you have to pay for top notch service in an emergency.

Over the years our old home has had it's puts and takes, and the few times that we've had plumbing or watermain issues, OneStop has been our go to. Last week Joshua and Steven came to our rescue, fixing our kitchen sink back up right up. Josh was going to install a new garbage disposal for us as well, but when he took the old one off he was actually able to repair it, saving us hundreds of dollars for the cost of the new disposal. Having intermittent issues with my furnace and, of course, when Robert from OneStop came out, it worked perfectly.

However, Robert continued to try to diagnose the problem based on what I was telling him. He listened to what I was experiencing with the furnace and checked several possible causes to no avail. He made a couple recommendations and was on his way.

He didn't charge me for the visit which I greatly appreciated, but didn't expect! He was very friendly and honest. OneStop most definitely is going to be my first call for any HVAC issues in the future.

I had them come out to take a look at our humidifier attached to our furnace and I was highly impressed (although not surprised based on other reviews I'd read on yelp).

1. On-time and from the outset went above and beyond. A great example here was something as small/simple as bringing my recycling bin to the garage for me as they arrived. This was completely unnecessary, but a great personal touch.

2. Honesty and transparency in the approach: There was no attempted upsell or pushing of unneeded items. In addition, they went above and beyond to explain different components/mechanisms and what things are essential/need fixing; and what we might want to consider replacing but were fine for now.

3. Clear, transparent pricing: the quote given to me was constructed in such a way that it was easy for me to take each line item and make decisions on what costs would be if I added/removed different elements from the quote without having to ask for 5 different quotes for 5 different configurations. This is incredibly helpful when trying to make a decision.

Spoke to them on the phone and was told I'd receive a call back to schedule an appointment for an estimate after explaining what I wanted done. They were very friendly and explained a lot of different things that they do. It seemed to fit a lot of the odds and ends I wanted to look at from the drainage/sump/adding electric outlets, etc.

When I spoke to the technician he gave me a one hour range from 9-10am. This was a little annoying because we aren't living at the house we are fixing up yet, so we had to make sure we were at the house. But, understandable, I suppose, for this line of work if you have a lot going on.

The morning of the appointment, he didn't show up or give any communication. We called around 9:45am just to confirm and he didn't respond. Called again around 10:30 and finally connected with him around 11am. He was apologetic and it appeared that he made the appointment for the wrong date and time. This is ok, but the lack of availability during the time he was scheduled for was not professional and therefore we did not even reschedule. We wasted time by going to the place and he never showed up.

I lucked out three times. 1) Came onto yelp and found One Stop Pros. 2) they sent me a technician that quickly diagnosed the problem with my ac. 3) The technician had the needed part on his truck and quickly repaired my AC unit on the day that went 90+.

These guys have done work for us on several occasions. They are professional and timely, and seem to provide decent value for the cost. It's also nice to have one stop for everything -- plumbing, electric, HVAC.

Only thing that kept them from 5 stars today -- when they came to fix our AC unit today, they discovered an electrical error that their installer had made in our breaker box when they replaced it last fall.

I thought I needed a new electric panel box, after seeing some flashing lights inside my home when the new A/C unit I purchased kicked-on. I called OneStop Pro after seeing the great Yelp reviews online.

Rob (I think that was the technician's name) came to my home and walked me through the in's and out's of the panel box and its connections. He tightened a loose ground connection inside the box. He advised that I didn't need a new panel box because all of the reading were normal.

He didn't charge me for the visit and his advice and professionalism were outstanding. It was also a scorching hot 100-degree day in Naperville this week, but he didn't let that phase him, as we walked around my property to assess the problem.

I will definitely use them again and will recommend this company for any plumbing or electrical needs.

Our furnace started giving us trouble on a holiday weekend. Robert was very responsive, even though parts were unavailable. We ordered a replacement board and he came back to install, bad board. He. Went to his supplier, got parts and returned the next day and tried again. Will use OneStop again.

UPDATE.....Called one OneStop again. This time we had a plumbing issue. Joshua was pleasant and wanted to help fix the problem, not add unnecessary fees.

Robert has been servicing my home's HVAC and plumbing since before One Stop Pro even got their name (previously they were DFC Mechanical). I've had a furnace and A/C unit replaced on top of numerous smaller maintenance calls over the past 5 years.

Everyone I've ever dealt with (but particularly Robert) has been courteous, reliable, and trustworthy. I'm glad I always have somebody I can call when a fix is outside my ability.

I was looking for a team to install some electrical boxes in the wall behind a custom built-in bookshelf. They did a pretty good job. They wore masks while in my home and were very careful to work around the existing cabinetry without damaging anything. Everything works great. As electricians, they do good work.

There were a few things keeping them from 5 stars. Their coordination could be a little better.

Although, they responded immediately (their response to a Yelp inquiry average is 20 minutes), their response was a pretty generic question via Yelp mail. And although I responded immediately with an answer to that question, no one ever really read my response. The next day when a different person finally *really* responded, I started from scratch with my explanation.

We set up an estimate appointment for someone to come by to take a look on Monday from 8-10am. On Monday, at 9:55am, someone called me and said there was no need to come by and they could do the estimate over the phone. I re-explained everything that I had already discussed on Friday.

Finally, we set up an appointment for the work to be performed a week later. The window again was 8am to 10am. The electrician showed up at 10:30 and so it was a little out of synch from what I had planned.

But overall they did good work and I was pleased with the results of the job.

There are many reasons why this company is still in business & rated 5 stars! I am a new home owner and just found out that my furnace is 15 years old. I had 3 companies at my house for free estimates. From the time Robert came in and diagnosed my problem with my furnace, A/C, and humidifier I immediately felt confident going with OneStop Pro for my needs. The greatest things of it all was their professionalism, knowledge (beyond experts) and relationship they built with my family. I didn't know the cost of exactly everything (furnace, AC and humidifier) but ya the end of the day, it didn't matter because they will take care of you and walk you thru everything! This is the second time we have used OneStop, and we have been very pleased both times. First time, Josh came out to install a new outdoor spigot and fix a small pipe leak in our crawl space. 5:30am: Woke up today to the sound of water hitting the kitchen floor downstairs. Ran down in a panic to see a leak sprung from the ceiling, right below the upstairs bathroom. Not the best way to start a Friday...

6:37: Called OneStop, and spoke with Camille(?). Was told to expect a call back around 8am. Rocky start, but understandable considering the time of day.

8:22: Called OneStop again to check status as I had not received a call back. Matt informed me there was an opening and that they would send someone immediately.

8:45: Josh Caipen and Mitch arrived. I briefly explained the situation and probable cause. They confirmed the issue: an old toilet sitting on a partially disintegrated wax ring.

9:25: Wax ring replaced, toilet re-set, mess cleaned up.

Except the initial phone call, great experience. Josh and Mitch are very friendly, professional, and had the problem diagnosed and fixed within an hour. 10/10, would call again.

Very polite and professional customer service, felt like I was calling a neighbor. They were fast to respond and get someone at our house, even though it was peak time for them.

I needed our frozen sump pump line evaluated and some plumbing updates to remove a broken garbage disposal. These guys are either highly negligent or are scammers. After seeing they had 5 stars and over 200 reviews I called them out to rooter the main line. They did and informed me it had been invaded by tree roots and mud. The rooter did nothing and he actually pushed more sewer water out onto the floors of my house. Their official estimate came in at $8300 to dig out a 4X10ft area and replace the line. After leaving, I decided to check with my city works Dept(5 stars to the city) who came out and inspected the work of One Stop Pros. They then referred me to Ambrose Plumbing (1million stars is not enough for those guys) who came out and did the work I paid One Stop to do the first time. They had cleared the main line and got my plumbing back to working order in less than an hour. I told them step for step what happened with One Stop and they just rolled their eyes....

So, AFTER I cancelled the work order with One Stop, they called me back to say I would have to pay them $600 for the equipment that they managed to reserve at 4:45pm on a Friday. Well I called the rental company who informed me they had no equipment reserved for One Stop. Yet another lie from One Stop Pros.

If you value your money and sanity, DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS. Call your city first and get a referral or advice from them before committing to any work. Don't let the scope of the issue affect your decision making because these guys are immoral predators.

Robert came out today, a same day call and quickly diagnosed and remedied my issue. This company installed my new furnace 2 years ago, and evaluated my whole system, made me a deal on a new AC deferring the hook-up until the following summer and saving me several thousand dollars. All of the service people at this company are very friendly and professional.. They treat everyone like family. You cannot go wrong trusting this company!

Some of the cellulose powder managed to float in from the outside but the team did a very good job of cleaning up as much of it as possible, being very mindful to the hardwood floors. Overall very happy with it, if I want something done RIGHT the first time I know who to call.

Great to work with!

Said they'd try to squeeze me in if they could so i was expecting a call at 5pm saying they wouldn't be able to come out and will have to put me on the schedule another day. I instead get a call at 11 saying they'll be by in 15 minutes!

They fixed my AC unit, turns out it was a simple mistake on my part.

Since it was a simple mistake and they weren't here for very long they didn't charge me.

Based on such great customer service the first time around, I will DEFINITELY use them with anymore problems in my home

I had a few issues that I wanted to take care of around the house; HVAC stuff and an ejector pump that wasn't working. I called up OneStop and explained the issues. They were very responsive and were able to send someone right away.

Their technician showed up right on time. Really nice guy. Took a look at my ejector pump and we decided that it needed to be replaced. When the new one was installed (which looked older than the old one), it didn't work. The technician plugged it into another outlet, and it started working. So, turns out that my old pump was working fine, but the outlet was faulty.

Now, I'm $700 in the hole, no longer have my old functioning pump, and stuck with a new pump that won't work because the outlet is faulty. They essentially fixed a problem I never had, and now I need to look for an electrician.

Oh, and the technician couldn't address my HVAC issues because that's a separate guy. I guess I misunderstood the name OneStop.

If the tech wasn't so nice, this would've been a 1 star.

UPDATE- 2/7/20

Dan reached out to me and located my old sump pump. He said that if it was actually working then he would reimburse me for the new pump. Turns out that my old pump wasn't working after all. Dan sent someone immediately to figure out what the electrical issue was and quickly resolved it.

Overall the post-sales service was excellent. And I can confidently say that if you aren't completely satisfied with their work, they will immediately rectify any issue. As such, I am revising my initial review.

We recently had our bathroom remodeled and the contractor, unbeknownst to us, did a horrible job installing the new shower valves. I sensed there was an issue and called One Stop Pro to take and look and ensure us that things were ok. They weren't. The One Stop Pro was just that - a pro. He identified and fix a couple of issues that would have definitely caused a problem if not a large leak. Very professional and thorough. I am confident that things are done right now after One Stop Pro. They will be the company I call for any electrical or plumbing need.

OneStop Pro was super fast and profesional in installing our new hot water heater. They came out the same day I called and by the next morning they had the new water heater installed! I found their cost to be very reasonable and the quality f their work was great! I called Onestop to repair a damaged igniter in my furnace. I got through to Matt right away, and he helped connect me with the technician, Rob, to talk through my issue and concerns before we scheduled my appointment. We set up an appointment for the next morning. They allowed me to send a picture of my furnace model and serial number, so they could go directly to the manufacturer for a replacement part, rather than doing a service call to come find that information in person. I had contacted other HVAC companies for quotes prior to calling Onestop, all of which insisted on a trip charge and diagnosis fee to obtain this same information I had readily available. I appreciated that Onestop wasn't trying to take advantage and overcharge me to figure out the problem I already knew I had. The cost of my service was also a little less than the other quotes, and less than what I expected based on the google results I had searched before calling for quotes.

I received a text in the morning letting me know that Rob was en route to my house - I thought that was pretty cool. He arrived right on time and was very courteous and friendly. I sat with Rob while he made the repair and did a maintenance service. As he worked he explained everything he was doing and why, so that I would understand for the future. He walked me through all the functionality of the furnace, pointed out potential future issues (with solutions!) due to the age and type of furnace that I have, and even gave me advice for the best options for HVAC and plumbing in a custom home that I plan to build next year!

I would definitely recommend Onestop for any HVAC services needed, they are thorough, responsive, and the pricing was very fair! They are not out to take advantage to make a quick buck, but rather they seemed to prioritize integrity, honesty and fair pricing to build a long-term relationship of repeat business built on trust. They will be my first call next time I need a service!

They gave me a very competitive quote in comparison to other companies, best around actually. I think the quality of the electric work was fantastic and everyone we have dealt with has been very friendly and responsive.

This was our first time getting this level of electrical service (100 amp to 200 amp) so we were unsure what to expect. Given that, my only feedback is to make sure to walk people through the detail of what work goes in and the outcome in advance. That said, the owner was very responsive to our questions and concerns, giving me confidence to work with them again.

Not that these guys need yet another perfect rating, but our experience with your team went so far above and beyond any other service I've ever experienced. Rob was the ultimate professional: efficient, knowledgeable, timely, organized, and willing to walk us through everything that was happening. Although they were not able to make the repair they offered recommendations on our best next steps and offered a quote to come back and outfit the spigot with a breaker. The crew at OneStop Pro is great! We've used them for annual furnace & air conditioner tune-ups for the last couple of years and they've always been easy to schedule an appointment with and helpful when they've come out.

In their most recent visit, they found that a major part of our furnace was not working. They gave us a the option of replacing the part or replacing the furnace since the furnace was outside of the normal warranty window, which we decided to sit on since it was a large cost either way and weather allowed. Without prompting, Robert called our furnace manufacturer and found out that the previous owner had purchased an extended warranty which basically cut the repair cost in half. He had nothing to gain by going out of his way, but it helped us out immensely and made the decision to replace the part super easy.

Excellent company. I called to have my AC checked on this morning and it topped 87 degrees today. They had someone out around mid afternoon. I'm sure I'm not the only one having issues so I was surprised they made it out same day. My AC works but was not starting up do to a wiring issue which they figured out within an hour and now my house is cooling down. Finally. The price wasn't terrible and the customer service is top notch. Very respectful of your home. I definitely recommend this company and will be using them for any future needs.

My hot water tank stopped working recently, so I called the company I have a service plan with and they sent out their contracted plumber, who told me I needed to replace the tank. I called a few other companies for second opinions on repairing vs replacing. OneStop was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and Joshua came out right away. He was polite, knowledgable, explained my options, and answered all of my questions. I had the electronic quote in my email before he left. After shopping around, OneStop had the most competitive pricing, and I didn't feel I was sacrificing quality for best pricing. After accepting the quote, installation was scheduled for the next business day. Installation was prompt and clean. After it was complete, we waited a couple of hours and found we still did not have hot water. I followed up and they came out right away. Turns out because we have a back up solar tank, there was a modification needed to the installation. It was fixed in less than an hour and no issues since. I will use OneStop again due to their prompt follow ups, great communication, knowledgeable and polite employees, quality work, and competitive pricing. Needless to say, I will be canceling my service plan with the other company who ended up having he most expensive quote even after deducting the $400 covered by the plan. I'd rather call OneStop.

I used OneStop to change the electrical panel in my new home along with other work. They came in and worked the entire day and would not leave until it was 100% completed. Left my home so clean you wouldn't know they were there. They also have a lot of discounts and coupons for future work too. I would recommend them for any work in the house. Plus they added a dedicated circuit and electrical box for both my 120v washer and 240v electric dryer at no cost. Use them you won't be disappointed.

I woke up the day after Christmas and my Thermostat was reading 58 degrees! After installing a new Honeywell T5 correctly it still wasn't working. I gave Robert a jingle and he returned my call within 30 minutes trying to help. Robert ended up coming out to my house and figured out there was an issue with the door and safety button on the furnace within 10 minutes! No charge! He also wore shoe covers! If you want a company that's trustworthy, honest, fair, responsive give these guys a call! They are as fair as it gets and aren't going to take you to the bank.

We had a messy dishwasher install done by the original owner of our home. The DW needed to be replaced, but the installers could not work with the existing plumbing and electrical. There were also some safety issues and improper materials used in the orig config.

Enter OneStop. They were able to quote the day after we called them. Show up the day after that, and get the work completed over two days. Each type of work had a separate specialist doing the job, four in total. They each did a fantastic job on their piece, and the entire job looks well done, with all of the prior issues resolved.

Kudos to Robert, who coordinated all of the technicians, to get in and get each of their pieces of the job done. Excellent project/job management. I never had to call to ask when the job would be finished (I know, right?)

The final result is amazing work, completed by multiple, qualified technicians, in the window of time they originally provided.

If you want it done right, by professionals, this is your company.

We have had OneStop Pro do some work for us a few years ago, and they did a great job them. So, we saw their special advertisement for the home evaluation/check up for $99, and we made an appointment for today! Rob M. was right on time. He was very thorough, and very knowledgeable. He, also, gave us some tips re: safety, pointed out where we needed things i.e. GFI's, etc. After he explained his recommendations on what he saw needed to be taken care of, he told us how and when they would proceed with the repairs and updating of items, if and when we decide to have that work done. Our 25+yr old AC finally melt down last week. We had several HVAC contractors given us quote for a new AC. They were either too expensive or they had to schedule installation to 2 weeks later. OneStop Pro is the real deal. Heavy professionalism, high ethics, pro experience (puns are fun), solid communication, genuine care for customers, great responsiveness, and fair pricing! A very rare combination. I have had 5 plumbers in my house last year, I have spent thousands (near 10k) over the last 3 years battling some plumbing issues. Some were quick to clean things out but not challenge the issue causing the failure, others blatantly not understanding old plumbing practices. I got to fully understand the issue within 15 minutes of Mike asking questions, taking the time to understand the issue, then he got to work. He didn't make empty promises but instead warned of the exposure, in the end he pulled off an amazing job to tackle an issue that may have been around for decades! (I have only lived here 3 years) I feel at peace having seen the quality work he performed to restore plumbing failures under my foundation. Did I mention they have some really amazing technology? I saw the problem via camera in my pipes, walked through the issue, the risk and then released the pros. I couldn't be more happy given the circumstances. Sure I wish I didn't have to pay the bill, but I can tell you no one has ever won me on pricing in service work like this company. I happily paid the piper for the work and more so for the solution!

I am very careful about giving 5 star reviews, but truly this experience with Mike at OneStop Pros has me scratching my head... I am happy with the turn of events after spending 7k to fix a major plumbing issue in my home! Great work to him and all his guys! Bravo.

I cannot say enough about the job that Dan from OneStop Pro did.

It was early Saturday evening that I realized that the non-functioning toilet in our basement had overflowed and there was sewage everywhere. As you can imagine, we thought we would be out of luck late on a Saturday, but my wife looked on Yelp, saw the great reviews of OneStop Pro and gave them a call. The lady who answered the phone was so kind and soon after that, Dan was over to our house and inspecting the problem. He gave me an estimate, got to work and was quickly getting the electric plumbing rooter flowing through the pipes to find the root of the issue.

Dan was friendly, knowledgable, and even explained to me what he was doing as he was going through everything. As I am a total plumbing novice, I learned a ton. And in the end, Dan was a complete pro at his job. He found the issue, he got rid of the problem, he even removed the toilet (it was beyond repair) and then capped the drain.

Finally, he cleaned up after he was done and the room and bathroom were spotless when he left. And from a dollar standpoint, he was exactly where he said he would be when he gave me his estimate.

Once again, when I came upon the problem late on a Saturday, I figured no way could we find someone who would want to come out on a Saturday night and help us. I thought this would be something that I might have to wait until Sunday or Monday to get done. Dan answered the call and the job he did was beyond amazing.

I would recommend Dan and OneStop Pro to anyone and I am sure I will be back in touch with him when we have other problems that will pop up over time at our house.

We recently moved into a new home and after just 5 months we were having issues with our furnace and AC. I saw all the great reviews and gave them a try. I was beyond impressed. Update: Due to unfortunate circumstances, first call didn't work out. However, Mr. Foss reached out to see if we still needed the service. Scheduled within the week. Electricians Sam and Andrew came right on the dot at 9. They were very professional. Work area was clean. They gave recommendations, and even identified hazards, which we wouldn't have known. Price was also comparable to estimates in thge area. Job was very well done! Highly recommend OneStop Pro for your electric work needs!

Found great reviews on yelp. Called them, I was able to book an appointment, or so I thought. i talked to the electrician, said he'll see if he can move things around, and let me know. Sundays are only for emergency calls. I called to follow-up on Friday. Guy on the phone told me that he'll forward the message. Never got a call back. I hoped that someone will show up Saturday morning. None.
Background: I requested to install an electric outlet for the projector Saturday, because the theater will be installed (by a different company) the following Wednesday. We had to improvise until I can find another electrician.:(

Great service. We had a slow draining dual vanity sink and I called OneStop Pro because they were fairly local. I got a quick call-back and an appointment was made for the next business day which was Monday. They confirmed with a text indicating a 2-hour window. On Monday, Dominic the plumber called with a heads-up that he was on his way. He arrived when expected and figured out what was needed and fixed the clog in a reasonable amount of time. He even removed a tough corroded cap on the pipe coming out of the wall below the sink. Anyway, maybe I am relating too many details, but the service was very good, professional and timely. Dan made it right.
This is my second review for this company and I am happy to say that I was very satisfied dealing with Dan who sent Robert out to quote and subsequently come out and do the work for me.
I had a fair amount of electrical work that needed to be done on a bathroom remodel that included the movement of junction boxes and an installation of an exhaust fan. Everything that we discussed and more was completed efficiently and very professionally...with little waiting time to get the work completed.

Everything is nicely done and I'm very happy to say that I'm glad that I reconnected after the first go-'round.

OneStop was great to work with - my husband and I recently bought a house, & knew that down the road we would have to replace the furnace. However, a sudden cold snap came through and made repair work an immediate need one day last week when our house temp dropped to 58.

We googled, and found OneStop. Knowing that this time of year, most HVAC companies are slammed with work, we dealt with a few team members, but each was wonderful to work with, explaining their diagnosis of the puzzling situation (turned out to be a twofold, complex issue). Ultimately, Dan was the one to do the repairs themselves, and was wonderful as he explained what he was doing to us as he went through the steps. Of course the air went out during the warmest week of the year. We went out and got three bids all from top notch firms. Robert from OneStop gave us the cleanest bid, meaning they didn't gross up the bid to bring it down with rebates. The crew showed up on time, was professional, and worked hard during the day to replace the ac and the furnace. They stuck to the estimate and there were no surprises. They were clean, courteous and did a good job of explaining what they were doing along the way. Read all the great reviews here and sent a message for a quote (says response rate is an hour) on Friday afternoon and haven't heard back. Called the number and thought I made an appointment for Monday evening for a furnace service call - ie gave all my info, was told I'll receive a call. Called again Monday morning to confirm and was told that if I didn't get a call back on Friday it means they are booked and not able to come out today... if this sounds confusing, you are reading it right. I would give 10 stars if I could! I noticed a puddle of water underneath the kitchen sink so naturally I went to Yelp to search for a plumber and came across One Stop. After answering a few questions, I had a service call placed today to check the kitchen and master bathroom sink, plus a quote to install a new drain stopper in the master bath tub. Well, the tech ran the water on both lines but no water leaked so he assured us everything looked ok, he didnt even charge us even though I insisted! He did give me a quote on the master bath tub, which will involve replacing the entire tub to replace the drain stopper. The price he quoted was reasonable and when I start my bathroom remodel in the next couple months, I will definitely be in touch!

Called yesterday for an air conditioner issue. They were able to fit us in at the end of the day even in the rain. Robert came out. Despite the fact we had no paperwork on our unit and the unit itself had no numbers on it, Robert was able to figure it out, and troubleshoot to find the right part. He also had some great suggestions to make our unit, 18 years old, to squeak out as much time as possible and how to more effectively cool our home. We will be needing a new unit in the near future probably and will be calling them!

OneStop and Robert are amazing! I emailed them at midnight and he showed up first thing the next morning (on a Saturday no less!). He said my A/C unit was completely out of refrigerant, explained where the leak likely was. Robert was very candid and up front on what it would cost him to find the leak, fix it, and recharge the system. He said the unit was newer and thought it would likely have a 5 year warranty. He encouraged me to hunt down the previous owner to find the company/contractor that did the install as they would likely be obligated to fix it.

Robert didn't charge me a thing, refused a tip, and was amazing through the whole ordeal. They will be getting all my future business. Great company, quick communication, and top notch service. You will not find a better place!

OneStop is amazing! We had a leak but didn't know if it was still active. I called early one morning and Camille called me shortly thereafter. I received a call from Robert and he was great helping us schedule something for 6 pm, something difficult to find since that is pretty late on a weekday. Will and Steve came out and checked out the leak. They honestly told us they could cut out the drywall to check but it didn't look active and just to keep an eye on it. They could have easily told us it needed to be fixed immediately. We were so grateful for their honest opinion

Unfortunately, it did end up being an active leak. I called Robert back and Will came out the next day to fix it! They are great! They didn't charge for the initial assessment and are very reasonably priced. Definitely would go with OneStop again!!!!

We were very happy with OneStop and their services. Our AC was out and we needed someone to come and check it out. I called OneStop and they tried to schedule us a couple of times. The first time Jake came out, he had a good idea of what the issue was, but could not access the condenser that was on top of the condo building because we needed a code to get up there. They were nice enough to not charge us for that visit. Jake returned at the end of the week after we got access to the roof and he was able to fix the issue very quickly. Very nice to work with and came right on time.
The price was also very reasonable compared to the other HVAC companies we have worked with. We will be using OneStop for any future issues we might have.

After my initial contact with OneStop with a very friendly dispatcher, Will answered the service call for my kitchen faucet issue. The response time was unbelievably fast!Our fairly new electronic faucet became very loose and needed to be retightened. The problem seemed simple enough to manage on our own, however it was a challenge due to the small under sink space as well as all of the electronic components beneath the sink. Will was able to tackle the situation despite the challenges and was very careful and clean. He was able to complete the job in about one hour. The service was excellent. I think these people are exceptional. I had at least 10 top electricians come to my home and tell me No for installation of a crystal chandelier because it was in the middle of 19 feet high foyer. I called to request a quote to remove the ceiling drywall and to repair any leaks found (the ceiling drywall on my first floor below my upstairs shower was discolored but not wet). I was told some steps to take to troubleshoot and fix the most likely culprit before actually calling DFC out.

DFC staff are good people to recommend some steps for me to take that would most likely fix the problem instead of charging me a lot to do something I could have done. Thank you for your help.

I scheduled a Fall checkup with OneStop Pro today, and couldn't be happier. Compared with other furnace services I've used in the past, OneStop Pro was by far the best. The technician was very professional and thorough, explaining everything along the way. The $99 service included checks on our Radon system, electrical, water as well as the furnace & Humidifier checkup. This included many other items than our previous service looked at for the same price. A nice touch was the technician adding tags on all of our Water and Gas shut off valves so we can find them easier in an emergency. The tech also advised and educated me on some other items that I was not aware of, so that I can be prepared if they occur in the future. I highly recommend this service!

I am very pleased with this company. I was going through an inspection to sell my house and honestly had no idea about the information on the inspectors report. I was able to schedule it one stop quickly and was so pleased with their service that I asked him to look at a couple of other things while they were there. I am elated to build a relationship with a company that I can use for multiple needs within my home such as both plumbing and electrical. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem and correct it. When I had a follow-up question from the inspection team the next day they agree to review that as well. mixed experience. whoever i talked to on the phone twice, was about the nicest person in the world. still trying to find out the name.
downside was that i had to leave a message on saturday, and then another one on monday, before i received a call back. once i got ahold of robert, he had the electrician, andy, here within the hour. andy was great....found the problem and fixed it in about two hours. and cleaned up after himself! now there's a first.
we haven't had the need for an electrician in a few years, and maybe i'm a little out of touch, but i thought the bill was quite high.

My AC broke on a 90 degree Friday and I gave OneStop a call about 10:30 AM on Saturday. About 12ish, Robert and his team came and resolved the issue quickly. He explained what was wrong and gave some insight into what areas might be problematic going forward. He was even able to service my furnace while he was here. The whole experience was quick and smooth. I wouldn't hesitate to call upon them again if anything else ever came up.

To be fair, I had a very stupid issue that I called them up for, so if you're looking for feedback on a bigger plumbing project, you can skip to another review.

There are a few reasons why I'm giving them a good review. Initially, there was a problem with the scheduling getting someone out to my place. They didn't let me know they wouldn't be able to show up until about 20 minutes before the scheduled time (10 a.m.). This was for an appointment I intentionally scheduled far enough in advance to avoid a) getting ripped off on a short notice appointment and b) having it get cancelled. If I had been at work, I would've been on my way home by the time I got the call with the cancellation (fortunately, I wasn't, I had the day off). I did call them though after I got the message and explained what just happened, and they got someone out to my place by about 1:15 p.m. So kudos for making it right.

My issue was a really dumb one (cringeworthy). They didn't charge me anything for it, though. Because they made it right, that's why I'm giving them the five star review. Also they were very honest, and that counts for an awful lot when dealing with any kind of technician.

I would definitely call them again in the future.

I requested a service visit at 9pm to check on my furnace turning off intermittently. They responded immediately and called the following morning to confirm a noon appointment time. They came, inspected my furnace and said everything looked fine at the moment but to call them as soon as it shut off again. They did all this at no charge. Just had the HomeSweetHome inspection for the home I moved into in June. Rob McDonald was friendly, on time, super-tidy, and willing to teach me about my furnace system and how to look for problems. Everything checked out well, so I was finally comfortable turning the heat on, lol. He also checked my gas fireplace, two bath fans, electrical panel and the sump pump for issues. There was one issue with the fireplace that he couldn't repair (broken flue) but was upfront about it. I know I'll need a new AC unit within a year or two, so I'll be using OneStop again for maintenance checks and repairs going forward. Thanks Rob!

I woke up to no hot water this morning. Turns out the pilot light on the water heater was out. I tried a few times to get it to light with no luck.

My usual plumber is no longer is business so I hopped on Yelp to find a new one. Seeing that One Stop Pro is in my town (always love to support local businesses) and had high reviews, I decided to call (around 9AM). The woman to answered the phone was very nice and took my info down to pass to the pros who would then call me to schedule the appointment.

I waited a good 3 hours but never received a call. I then submitted a quote through Yelp to see if I could get an appointment scheduled for today that way. The owner did reply back pretty quick and stated that they would have a guy reach out to me. I thought that meant I'd be getting a call to schedule the appointment. So I waited another 30 min, but when I didn't hear back, I called another company.

To be fair, the owner might have meant getting a guy out to my location right away and not to just make the appointment. Either way, 3 hours is a long time to be waiting just to schedule an appointment in the first place.

I guess if you do the schedule thing through Yelp instead of making the call and waiting for the call back, you'll probably get help sooner. I can't say for sure because I didn't get that far. I'm not sure I would use One Stop Pro in the future as their scheduling process doesn't seem the best for time sensitive needs. And plumbing issues tend to usually be emergencies.

In the end, I kind of wish I wouldn't have wasted half the day for nothing and called the other guy first. Hopefully, I'm still able to get the water heater fixed before the end of the day so I don't have to go another day without hot water as a result.

These guys are real PROS. Robert and his team are nothing short of amazing. I recently put in a pool and I needed electric and gas run from the house to the pool. I had troubles securing a permit for the pool because I didn't really understand what the Village needed in regards to detailed information. After a few talks with Robert and a really thorough quote of what was to be completed, I was able to get my permit. It doesn't end there. Once the job started, Robert was always on time and always thorough and to the point. No fluff and mirrors... A real Pro. Robert was able to give me guidance and good advise, all while completing every bit of what he promised to do for me. I have had many contractors come through my home over the years. Our AC stopped working last night, of course during one of the hottest times here in Glen Ellyn. I left some messages at other businesses and called One Stop Pro as soon as they opened around 8:30am and immediately got them on the phone and was told they could squeeze us in around 10am. Great news!

At just before 10, the tech, Dan, called us to let us know he was running 15-20 minutes late. Getting a call like that was very respectful of our time and we had a good feeling about this business. We already knew we had a leak in the AC and needed refrigerant as this same issue happened over Memorial Day. The problem is that we are renters and the landlord doesn't want to invest in a new AC. We also are moving out in 5 days and we have been having issues getting reimbursement from our landlord lately so we were worried about how much this would cost given we just closed on a new home and have all the upcoming moving expenses to deal with.

Dan was very friendly when he got here and immediately set to work. Before he added coolant he worked with us on price and we decided to go with 3 pounds with the thought that it should keep us cool until we move out in a few days. He didn't charge us for the service time, only the material, which was appreciated. About 4 hours later, our house still hadn't cooled down a degree so I called Dan back direct primarily to see if we were supposed to do something more to unfreeze the system. He said he would swing back by shortly, which was unexpected, but appreciated. He arrived about an hour later and said we did need more refrigerant as the 3 pounds we hoped would be enough to get us out of here wasn't cutting it given how miserable the weather is and how big the home is. So we told him to add more refrigerant and separately my husband and I started discussing how we were going to handle another couple hundred that we likely were never going to see again. Dan came back in and let us know we are set and that there's no extra charge. What a kind gesture! We were so grateful and relieved.

I never write reviews, but One Stop Pro will be the company we call in the future first after we move into our new home whenever the need arises. Can't recommend enough! They are very competent and clearly care about their clients.

I called a few times in regards of my heating unit issue. I was told by a very nice receptionist that someone would be called me with in few minutes. Later I received a called but he said he would show up later on today or Saturday. It's been weeks now and he never called. This 3stars was for that operator who always being so generous when answering the calls.
Later I received a call from Dan the owner of the business. He sent Sam to come in to check on the heater the next day. Sam found the issue and fix it. It cost me $500 to replace the inducer motor. Sam had to travel few times to get the right parts but it was completely done within the same day. Due to the extremely cold weather, the heater seemed not to work properly( not enough flowing heat) so I talked to Dan. He rushed in the next day morning to follow up on the issue. Eventually, he patiently explained the issues. The inducer motor took few hours to heat up so now everything is great. Thank you for rescuing us during the hazardous extremely cold weather! In addition, there is a one year warranty on this part and labor if you ever have this same issue.

A few days ago, I had a water leak around the base of my furnace. Since my wife and I had such wonderful experience with Bob in the past, we gave DFC Mechanical a call. On a late Saturday night, Bob called me within 30 minutes and gave me quick advice on fixing my leak. Staff seems pretty knowledgeable. Fair quotes for both complex and simple jobs. Took a little bit of back and forth with phone calls to get an appointment scheduled, but everyone we talked to was generally very friendly. The technician coming to install our water heater missed the initial window we had set up, but at least called to let us know he was running late. They replaced our old water heater with a new tankless one that we had ordered from Amazon. Not the easiest task, but they stayed until the job was done and we were satisfied with the temperature levels at all the sinks/showers/etc.

Can't say enough about these guys. Have used them several times now for a variety of electrical and plumbing needs. First they added multiple circuits and lighting to our kitchen, then installed a new GFI switch for our pool filter, and lastly put in a new kitchen faucet. Each project was fairly priced, and amazingly fast. Generally they were out within a day of my call, and sometimes same-day.

They don't try to gouge you, either. I asked them to look at my exterior hose faucet to fix a leak during one of their visits. They easily could have charged me for it, but Sam took one look at it, grabbed a wrench and tightened it once, fixing the issue at no charge.

And thy stand by their work. When the GFI outlet under my deck stopped working, they swapped it out at no charge with no questions asked.

What an GREAT experience--they amazed me from 1,000 miles away!!

My mother called me from Schaumburg last night to say that her furnace quit working (I live in Colorado). She had already called another repair company to come out and assess the problem. Her furnace was deemed by this company as dangerous to use and she was told she'd need a replacement for the unit as well as some new duct work. The price tag was $6300. Ouch! My mom was cold and really wanted to just get the job done quickly. She almost hired them. . .
Then I got on yelp this morning to see if I could help her get a second opinion. OneStop immediately caught my eye since they had such great reviews. I was able to get a hold of someone right away (even on a Saturday morning, 8am!). Camille was terrific over the phone! She was empathetic and understood the position that I was in: trying to take care of my cold mom from 1,000 miles away. She said she'd have one of her guys give me a call soon and within 30 minutes, I was on the phone with Robert.
Even over the phone, it was immediately obvious that Robert was someone with loads of experience and highly competent. He said he could be to my mom's house to check it out within the hour--My Hero!
Robert got there quickly, assessed the situation and determined that the other company that had come out had tried to bamboozle her. My mom DID NOT need a new furnace after all. Robert quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it on the spot. He even stuck around a little while to make sure that it was running well and would keep running so that he wouldn't have to turn around and come back (we've had that happen before too with another company!). Robert called me when all was said and done to explain the work that he'd done. He even sent a quote for a new furnace so we'd know what we were in for down the line (it was almost $2,000 less than the other quote she'd received!). Robert was kind enough to follow up with a phone call this evening just to make sure that everything was still running well. Completely Above and Beyond!!
I'd like to say a big thank you to Robert, Camille and OneStop. I am so grateful that I found you today and that you were able to help my mom. We learned a lesson today--be careful who you trust. Always get a second opinion and ALWAYS call ONESTOP!!

After this recent run in with the Polar Vortex we had a pipe burst. I could hear the water leaking behind the walls and within hours Will and his helper from OneStop Pro were here and working. They assessed the situation and fixed the leak in no time and with minimal wall removal. He also gave me many pointers on how to prevent this in the future. This review is for Robert from OneStop Pro and the company itself. I wanted to thank Matt from the emergency dispatch for setting up a quick emergency call. I thought it was my sum pump that was making a very weird humming noise. Robert called and said he would be there in half hour and he was exactly there in half hour. He was very courteous, professional, and kind. He checked all the walls and really listened to the noise. Turns out it was my nieces toy that was causing the noise, this turned out to be the funniest story but I am still glad that Robert came and checked everything out. I give him 5 stars and the company 5 stars for having patience and coming to the rescue right away even though it wasn't that serious in the end. Thank you Robert for taking care of it all. We had a chandelier replaced, recessed lights installed, under cabinet dimmer kitchen lights installed and an outlet installed. At first, Robert and his team were really responsive. Warm and fuzzy? No. But they seemed to know what they were doing. The recessed lights look great (after Robert had to come back and fix a light that was not correctly installed according to the painters who pointed out the light rim was not flush with the ceiling), the chandelier looks great and the outlet works fine.

The problem I have is that I noticed two of the under cabinet lights flickering a day or two after Robert installed them. I called him and he came to take a look. While he was there I also asked him to give me an estimate for other work we were going to have done in the house. Even though I heard a lot of foul language from the guys while the work was performed, and Robert had a tendency to talk to me with his helmet light shining right in my eye, their other work was good enough that we felt comfortable hiring them to do more work. Some things you just have to overlook. He looked me in the eye and said he would send the estimate to me right away. I had no reason to believe he wouldn't do it because he had always been so responsive. Two or three days went by and I heard nothing from him so I called the office to inquire about the estimate and when Robert was going to come fix the under cabinet lights. The woman I spoke with said she would have Robert get in touch with me. About a week went by with no response and so my husband called Robert directly. He told my husband to buy replacement lights and he would get back to him about scheduling a time to come replace them. We never heard from him.

I am extremely disappointed that this is how this business is run. If I can't rely on a company to stand behind their work and complete repairs for a job incorrectly performed, why would I ever use them again or refer friends and neighbors to them? I wouldn't. One thing companies need to keep in mind is you never know how many possible future customers somebody knows.

I had high hopes for One Stop Pro when we began working with them. Thankfully, we found another company to come and fix the under cabinet lights. It literally took the guy less than five minutes to fix the issue.

About one month after dealing with One Stop Pro, we needed a new furnace/HVAC system. Had they responded properly to the flickering light issue, they could have received our business. We found another company and gave our money to them.

Wanted to come here to heap praise on Robert only to find that I'm last in a long line of people before me who have come to do the same. Had a circuit in the kitchen on the fritz all weekend, was fairly concerned about a potential electrical fire, and was so relieved when DFC told me on Monday morning that Robert would be out that evening. Punctual, courteous, and knowledgeable, Robert showed up on his way home at the end of the day, around 6pm, and fixed our panel in under an hour. Went above and beyond by checking out some other concerns I had (which required him to go outside in the pouring rain) and providing a requested estimate for some additional work that we need. So to be fair it can happen....so I called him to see what was up and he asked me to text him again and promised an immediate call. Of course, no call.

Pretty much joke. Had a service guy out to try to fix a furnace issue. He was going around for at least two hours, inside outside on the phone asking somebody questions. Quick and clean service. They had shoe cover ups which i appreciate. They did a great job clearing a clog we had that had cause the pipe to freeze. They were done within an hour. The best experience I could have hoped for. I am in the process of selling my home, inspector found a leak. They called and told me to get it fixed ASAP and not to go back into the house. Roberts the man! Called OneStop after a visit from a big HVAC company. What seemed to be the ignitor not working in the furnace, the big HVAC company said it was my heat exchanger. He removed a panel stuck his finger in and said he felt cracks and wam, I needed a new furnace.

Called Robert and told him what happened. He said to let him look and to take a picture of the furnace label (model, serial #, etc...). He came by and tested the ignitor. It's fried. Replaced and we have heat again. Furnace is older, but it lives another day thanks to One Stop! When the need arrives for a new furnace, I'll be giving OneStop a call.

My tenant's furnace stopped working this morning and the temperature is planned to go to minus 25 in the next couple days. I needed help fast. After my call to OneStop Pro, they came out to the house within a couple hours of calling. The technician thoroughly analyzed the furnace to find the problem. He then explained the details of the situation. It turned out not to be a broken, just needed a filter change. He was very professional and honest. I highly recommend them for Heating and A/C work.

Great electricians! I called DFC for an issue with the circuit breaker and to get an outlet and lightswitch/fixture installed. I called on a Monday and they were out by Thursday (quite fast for a non-emergency call). They were here about 2.5 hrs and fixed the breaker, installed my outlet and light. Excellent, prompt service. We were having two ceiling fans installed and light sconces as well as having our leaky faucet fixed. There was an issue with one of the ceiling fans, that thankfully the technician caught before we installed, so we were able to exchange for one that worked properly. I placed a call yesterday afternoon regarding 2 electrical outlets in the family room that mysteriously just stopped working, and tripped the switch in the main panel. My husband investigated and could not figure it out, and he has done some serious electrical installation for his Carpentry Workshop power tools.

This morning I got a call to set up an appointment for a convenient time later today. Perfect. Sam was our electrician, and he was pleasant to work with, very knowledgeable and communicative about what he was trouble-shooting, and possible outcomes. He went on a wire-hunting adventure in our 104 year old home, encountering several decades of fixes, discovering hidden boxes, as well defunct knob and tube wiring. I got a bit of an electrical education, because I wanted to understand so I could relay the information to my husband. Sam explained so I could comprehend and it was all good-to-know information. It was very re-assuring for me, that we did not have any dangerous electrical problems -which I had projected, being so ignorant on the subject. Whew!
After investigation of many outlets and light switches, Sam figured out the issue, and thanks to his skills and experience, he fixed the problem with minimal cosmetic damage - none in the very old plaster - (only a couple of drywall cut outs in the basement laundry room, which we can diy fix). Sam looked into a couple of other issues and projects. He confirmed what my husband had expected - something that he can do himself, so now I know what to ask for at the Home Despot. Another, an outlet that has never worked ... it should have been removed years ago, so we can do that. Finally, Sam discussed the feasibility and estimated the cost of installing a light fixture in an old closet which houses our laundry chute, and where I keep bathroom supplies and first aid related items. It's a big closet and we need to shed light on it's contents because it gets a lot of use. Again something that my husband determined was above his knowledge level.
So, I'm a happy customer with 2 outlets fully functional again, and I look forward to Sam returning to install the closet light fixture. Considering the amount of work involved, I found the price to be fair, plus I got a yelp discount. The estimate for the fixture seems reasonable too.

Great experience. Had a minor emergency to deal with after I cracked a drain pipe in the wall under the bathroom sink and cracked a shut off valve while installing a new faucet. Awesome experience with OneStop Pro when our A/C needed servicing. They were VERY fast to respond, sent a tech same-day (and it was JUNE!), and they were able to fix our problem. They were very knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. We are in need of a new A/C unit, and they were able to assess the situation, and provided us with an estimate that evening. It was one of those unseasonably cold November nights when our furnace decided to crap out on us. That normally wouldn't be what I call an emergency, however, my wife had recently given birth a week before to our newborn daughter. Ironically, I had a water softener consult the next morning so I looked One Stop Pro up to confirm they also did heating and cooling (how convenient!) and then shot them a message to see if they could help. Within 5 minutes Dan gave me a call and was out within an hour to take a look at things! We were able to get our entire heating system replaced (along with a new air purifier and humidifier) all within 24 hours. I also want to make note that Dan was initially at our house until almost midnight the first night trying to repair our furnace. Not once did he try to push for a replacement or upsell unnecessary services. He also threw in a vent cleaning (we are still working to reschedule) free of charge and didn't even think to charge us for for 6 hours of work he did to try to repair our furnace the first night. Dan and team were professional, timely, and outright helpful in our time of need. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I used them to install some new sconce lighting outside and ceiling fans inside. Quick to respond with a quote and scheduling, cleaned up after themselves, sent out a team of 2 [thankfully because I was not able to help with the fixtures] and everything worked post installation. I'd give these guys 6 stars if I could. I've used them three times. All three times, right on time, work done to perfection, exceeding expectation. Had them install smart light switches, baseboard heaters in basement hooked up to a Nest, in wall speakers and other fixtures. One job took them significantly longer than they anticipated, didn't charge a dime more. The last time they were here, Dan's wife went into labor. My wife was screaming at him to get to the hospital but he refused to leave until he finished the job, and he did. DFC is simply the best.

Extremely fast response time. Within two hours of calling, a technician was at our house. We were charged just shy of $300 to replace the capacitor. Capacitors are quite inexpensive, but I have no idea how OneStop's cost compares to other companies.

Quick response to come and see the job request (fix an outdated dishwasher conduit and get estimates on some possible can lighting). Robert came and installed our dishwasher electrical ($150) within a half hour and gave an estimate on the other work which seems reasonable but I am not sure really what those electrical services costs! The appointment was made without a hitch, the service man, Will, was a bit late but called to let me know and was only delayed 45 minutes due to a complication on a previous job. I had furnace service and a new humidifier installed. After installation Will kindly explained how to operate the humidifier and gave me great tips on changing the inside water panel. A little late in getting to this review, but felt the need to share what great guys Robert and Dan are. I have worked with this company on 3 separate occasions and have had excellent service every time. First, for my lower level AC unit - they were able to get it replaced quickly for us. They've also installed new lights outside my house and fans inside our porch. Most recently, my air upstairs AC broke in July (it was hoooooot), so I called OneStop Pro and they came out that day. I needed a new unit, and thought for sure we'd have to go without AC a few days until they could fit us into the schedule, but no. They arranged their schedule and and Dan was able to come out the next morning! He worked diligently all day to replace the unit, and I was so grateful to have cool rooms for us to sleep in! After calling 8 different people & companies, ONLY OneStop responded immediately, did what they promised, were professional, honest & ethical. So, I was one of the many people that were affected by the polar vortex that ripped through Illinois. This past Friday evening my pipe burst in my kitchen and flooded the floor and the crawlspace beneath. I did not know what to do and I was very confused where to even begin. After calling my insurance company, I looked on Angie's List to find a reputable plumber who had a emergency services 24 hours a day and who could help me with my emergency. Needless to say I was put on a waiting list with eight plumbers that evening. The next morning which was Saturday, I received a call from Mike at ServicePro stating that he would be out shortly to help me with my problem and reassured me that he can get it fixed. I had no idea that I would come in contact with one of the nicest, sweetest, brightest, compassionate and professional person that i've ever endured in connection with home repairs. Not only did Mike come in my home at the exact time he said he would and correct the problem, he reassured me that everything was going to be OK and literally hugged me because I was tearing up. Being Italian, I am a hugger and I hugged him back and thanked him for his kindness. I knew right then and there that he was a genuine person with a heart. I truly believe that Mike is a total asset to this company and I highly recommend anybody who has an emergency or just a simple plumbing job to use this company. Needless to say, my kitchen was torn down to the studs due to the water damage. Thank God that Mike came when he did or else the problem would have been much worse. I actually felt like I had a family member in my home, someone who I could totally trust and know that my problem would be resolved with his help. I wanted to write a review as OneStop Pro actually came out to give me a quote for a job at my residence. I was stuck with one area of electricity (from one of my circuit breakers) not on / functioning after my home had experienced a complete power outage for about 10 minutes the day before my service.
Sam was fantastic and I would rate him with 5 stars. (He ended up not needing to run new wire for me and figured out what the issue was that was causing the lack of power to a certain area. He offered up some explanations to me so I would know what was going on and something that I should consider upgrading at my home (when I would be able to afford to do so). Thanks, Sam!
OneStop Pro as a company gets rated with 5 stars as well, because the company actually had someone who answered the phone AND was able to get someone out to give me an estimate. I like the fact that I was priced for a job. (Being charged by the hour is a bit unsettling, because one would not know how long a job would take. PLUS there were a handful of companies that did not answer or did not get back to me with leaving a message either.)
The only reason I gave an overall rating of 4, though, is that even with my price being a little less than what was originally quoted, it was still a pretty hefty cost for a job that took a little more than an hour to complete.
OneStop Pro would be one of the places I would contact if I needed a job to get done!

I hired them for the first time in September 2009 to upgrade the electrical service at my house. It was a very large job and they had it done in only few days! I then used them again to install new lighting and to hang ceiling fans. They were available the next day and again did an awesome job! They are one of the best contractors I have had at my house. They always show up at the agreed upon time for an estimate, and are very professional and friendly.They do a great job, and always give me a reasonable price. I have only great things to say. I needed an HVAC check-up/tune-up and also some work done on a humidifier. Communication was easy and straightforward from the first time I contacted them. Over the phone, Mike was really helpful getting everything set up, making sure expectations were clear, and quoted me a price better than the other places I checked out. On the day that service was scheduled, Jesse showed up right on time (actually just a few minutes early), was polite and efficient and did quality work. I'm a generally curious person, and Jesse welcomed my request to follow him around while he explained each step of what he was doing. (Through our conversation, I learned that he's an army veteran, which I have a ton of respect for and it also made sense with the high level of professionalism that he showed.) I had John from DFC here this morning to check out my ground fault circuitry in the house. I had replaced a breaker 3 or 4 years ago - it was a ground fault breaker, and I replaced it with a regular one, because the outlets it serviced were new and are now ground fault outlets. I didn't realize that some of the outlets were not working. John located the problem, and explained why the ground fault has to be wired differently. He made a few changes in the circuit box and fixed the problem. It was nice that John did not seem to mind letting me watch his work, and he even explained what he was doing. It took under an hour, and overall, I was very satisfied with the friendly, professional service.

Dan is a true professional and does great work! He and his crew were very thorough, precise and knowledgeable on all of our electrical and HVAC needs (and even some plumbing issues). My wife and I recently moved into a new home and we had DFC assess and fix several issues that showed up on our inspection report. I was really impressed with how Dan talked us through all of the work that needed to be done and how he would go about fixing it. He even gave us some sound advice on several things that we might want to address in the future but were not immediate needs. The biggest testament to his commitment to customer satisfaction and character was when there was a re-occurring issue with our furnace (which was inaccurate on the inspectors report).
