Best Electricians in Illinois

Needed 3 dimmer switches installed - $30 total.  Didn't charge by hour (most electricians I called wanted $125/hour.  They just cut me a fair deal and even picked up the parts I needed for lower price better than Home Depot was charging.  These guys were great, highly recommend.  Great Value.

I am a licensed contractor and own a number of apartment buildings in Evanston, Illinois.   CM Electric have done three jobs for me so far and I have found them very professional and competent.  The first job was a complete gut rehab with complete new electric including service and all new wires for a two flat on Asbury in Evanston.  The second and third jobs were commercial - one was a lighting store that had extensive electric requirements.  All three jobs that CM Electric did for my company passed inspection from the city of Evanston electric inspector who complemented them on the work.  I plan to use them again next month to replace the service in a two flat.  This work will be done while the tenants are living in the building which I am confident that CM Electric will once again do a good job on this project.  They really know their stuff and found the time to educate me on the newest code and best ways to do things.  They did not cut corners and went the extra mile for my company.

Could not say enough great things about Milan at MD Advanced Electric. Hired him to hardwire my pool pump. I kept getting delays in my pool install, and Milan was super flexible. The day he came out to do the work, it was well over 100 degrees with the heat index. Milan got all the work done quickly, and even took the time to show me that all the safety aspects of the install were working.

Would absolutely hire again!

Billy performed some work regarding an electrical panel modification.  He responded quickly and completed it in a professional and timely manner.  Will certainly consider ABI for other work.

First,I didn't like he just got out of car with no marking saying who he was and took a picture of my house.Than I showed him where the gas and electrical was.He again took a picture of the air conditioner,I didn't understand as at no time did  he mention he would be taking pictures and why.I told him I had a right to asked question and I was taking this too much.Sent him on his way.

They did great! They were very responsive and came to my home within a couple of days.  They were able to fix everything I needed.

Couldn't be more pleased with the work done by Bright Electric. Elton and Ilir were polite and patiently discussed what they planned you do and why, answering all my questions and concerns. The work was done with an attention to detail and in a professional manner. The estimate was spot on and fairly priced. They accompanied me while the work was being inspected by the village and answered the inspectors questions to his satisfaction. It went as smoothly as possible. Highly recommended.

Had a minor electrical emergency at our place and called Al. He was in the middle of another job, but was really close. He was at our place in less than 30 minutes, spent another 30 diagnosing the problem and gave us a temporary fix until he could come several days later.

A few days later he came with his son and they spent almost the entire day pulling all the old ceiling/attic wiring from our 100 yr old Bungalow. They replaced everything with new wiring all the way to the breaker box, installed some new switches/dimmers and a new ceiling fixture. They did a great job and cleaned up everything completely. It's so hard to find honest contractors in Chicago and Al is just a fantastic person to deal with.

Gino's crew rocks! I had a number of random projects in our condo that needed to be taken care of ranging from cleaning under baseboards on the deck to installing a backsplash in the kitchen.  Gino's team came on time and did a great job across all of the projects.  I love my newly painted upstairs and backsplash.  I would recommend these guys to any of my friends!

Jack was great to work with from the start.  He came up with a better solution for installing my 200 amp then other electricians. He was also very knowledgeable and explained everything in much detail so I felt confident in him doing the work. He was also very easy to work with and an overall nice guy.  After he completed the job he took the time to follow up and schedule a time to take down old electrical equipment that was put on the house. I wanted more light in my kitchen so I went to Home Depot thinking it would be a simple DIY project but after the lighting guy there told me they could give me a referral I figured it was worth talking to someone about helping me with it. They took some basic information and the next morning Josh from Frankfort Electric called me. We talked about what I wanted and scheduled a visit. He was very knowledgeable and gave me some suggestions about alternative ways to achieve my goal The estimated cost he gave me was what he charged me. I ended up spending more than I'd planned but it was so worth it. He finished my projects in one day. He came prepared and worked non-stop until everything was finished. I am over-the-moon about the final result.  I highly recommend Josh and will definitely hire him again for more electrical work in the spring.  P.S... minimal clean-up and he's licensed and insured.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.........We had an electrical issue; lost power to several outlets in our kitchen after we changed out a garbage disposal switch.  Village Electrical responded quickly and Randy skillfully assessed the problem, found the issue and corrected the glitch quickly and professionally.  Responsive, professional, honest, and reasonable.

Called and they came within a 1/2 hour! Fixed our problem, were honest, professional and courteous. I would recommend them for any electrical issues you may have.

We just moved into our new home and lost electricity in my home office on a Sunday night with a quick need to get it working again so I could work the next day. Gabe responded to my yelp request right away and came out the next day to look at the problem. Not only did he fix the issue in the room, he was also kind enough to check out other areas of the house that could have been affected and ensure all the wiring was done correctly.

Overall I can't recommended CLC enough. Fast response, great service and a very fair price for the work! We'll definitely be using them in the future.

Very satisfied! Called, got my appointment same day as he was willing to come in the evenings to accommodate my schedule.  Electrician replaced my light fixture without charging any extra for extra parts and from the hourly rate he had quoted which was VERY reasonable.  Overall, couldn't have worked out any better.
