I had purchased a new washer/dryer and was stressed out when I found that my electrical wasn't up to code. I called about 5 different guys, 2 didn't call back, one told me he'd have to make huge cuts in my ceiling to do the job, and one was going to take 3 weeks before they could come back.

Duplex Electric came out quickly, explained the process that they planned to use and scheduled a return appointment in a reasonable time frame. They were so friendly! They have top marks on Angie's List, and are also the electricians for St. John of the Cross Parish.

They did a great job on what I needed. There were two working together, so they worked efficiently, and they explained everything to me in detail so that there was no confusion (much appreciated). I felt confident hiring them, and they made the process stress-free. I also referred them to my parents who also had an excellent experience. I would recommend them to anyone!

Art was awesome! He did a great job installing some ceiling fans in our house. He was very friendly and knowledgeable . His prices are very fair. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician. I for sure would hire Art again for any electrical work!

I spoke with Don several times before my appointment to confirm everything that needed to be done as things kept changing on my end. He gave me an idea of pricing ahead of time which I very much appreciated. Two electricians, Steve and Pat, came out on the day of because of the amount of work to be done - fixture installations/removal/replacements and several breaker and outlet repairs. They were on time and easy to work with. They also worked around our painting crew without issue. Everything looks great. Thank you!!!

Prolite Electric has been great to work with. Very fast and thorough communication from Jack. I love when appointments are confirmed!  Matt arrived right on time and was a pleasure to work with. I had a list of minor electrical fixes around our house. He took care of everything and made recommendations for anything that could not be fixed the day of.  Pricing matched the quote that I was provided. They responded quickly, were able to get out in a timely manner, and repaired my AC when it was very hot and I needed it! Lifesavers!

I have just bought an old house and was following up on inspection items. Jeff got to us quickly, educated me on things and helped me to determine the importance on different issues. He did the work independently, and came back when he said he would to complete the job. I was very happy with his work and his easy helpful manner, and will be having him back to swap out light fixtures and put in an exterior outlet.

Long overdue review on an excellent job done.
I contacted David when my house in New Lenox was being sold and the fuse panel needed to be replace as an inspection objection from the buyers.  I contacted a few other electricians but David gave me the best price, time to complete and was very responsive with our contacts.
He showed up on time (2 days from when I called), was able to do the job on a tight timeline, but took enough time to do a clean job on the wiring.  He's professional, easy to talk with, has good communication and did a great job.  He's the kind of electrician you keep on using when projects come up.  Thanks David for the excellent work.  We ended up selling our house easily thanks to the upgraded panel.

Matt is the guy to go to. Very quick in comms. True to his word. Quality of work, willing to chat while doing the job, and fast turn around is the utmost best of the best. Had my 240v installed by him, for my ev charger using a nema 14-50 that I provided. Everything went as planned and he was very thorough about it all. Couldn't be happier and will do business again. Highly recommend! Mike came by within an hour of me connecting with him to install an outlet for my EV. He explained the process and walked me through it step by step just so I'm aware. I was so impressed, I asked him to work on more electrical stuff around our condo and he's coming back to do those jobs.

I was very pleased with Randel Electric. Randel Electric did work for me over a holiday weekend. They showed up on time, fixed all my issues knowledgeably and quickly, and were very fairly priced.  It is hard to find dependable service professionals nowadays, but Randel was top-notch. I highly recommend.

Installed a new outlet for a wall mounted tv. Did a great job and was quick. Great price and great service.

I called Homer to install two Ring security lights/cameras after a break-in a few hours prior.  He showed up within 2 hours of my phone call and a fabulous job!!   He also recommended a contractor to install a new back door, that the burglars had kicked in.  I will definitely call Homer for future electrical work!   Great job at a fair price!

I've used HandiCo several times for plaster repair. Each time, they came on site to evaluate and gave a clearly outlined estimate.

The work was undertaken professionally - they showed up on time, brought their own supplies, moved and covered my furniture and quickly/efficiently fixed the plaster.

In these instances, the repair took place on a wall and a section of ceiling (two leaks occurring at different times). Each repair cost about $600 and included plastering and a primer coat. They would also have painted using my preferred color, however, insurance was paying for these repairs and did not cover wall paint.

HandiCo is top of mind for me for any next repairs I may have - I felt they were responsive, professional and did excellent work.

I worked with Corey - his response time was extremely quick and was flexible with his schedule. We had a chandelier that needed to be hung and Corey did a great job. We will definitely be using his services again for other electrical projects in my condo!  They also provide very fair prices for the work being completed.  I had a lot of difficulty finding anyone that could match his quote.

Overall I am extremely happy with the service that was provided and love the job that was done.

This company ran a credit check without my permission. Can you imagine, I have an inquiry on my credit report because I had a small light fixture installed. Also, two years later, I am getting calls from Diamond Home asking if I have any remodeling needs. I recommend finding an electrician  with better  business ethics.

Water damage from a refrigerator installation. Please do not use this company!! This company tried to install a water line to my refrigerator but they didn't check to make sure the line didn't leak and it cause water to leak into my basement. This company form of communication is by texting only In which is unprofessional. This company finally send someone back to my home to look and take pictures of the damage 2 weeks later. They never apologize for the damage but charge me to fix the damage they did?
