We tried Fixer for the first time to re-caulk our shower and sinks. Their customer service is fantastic - responsive, helpful, respectful. They initially sent a fixer who didn't do a great job but quickly remediated the issue with a highly experienced one. Gwen was awesome!! She came on time, kept us informed, and was thoughtful and meticulous in her work. It was also really refreshing to see a woman trained in handy work. The 4 star rating is for the initial snafu - we have a baby so it was tough to make time and clean before/after the first fixer during COVID, only to have to repeat the process again on a weekend.

Mike and his crew ALWAYS do an outstanding job.  I would recommend them anytime.

Greg and Steve of Duplex Electric are great! I found a recommendation for them on next-door.com, and have since had them out to fix a few different issues. Both times I've called they have responded within hours to my voicemail messages and have come out that day or the next day. They first came out to replace a basement ceiling light. Through this they discovered that the switch was improperly wired. They explained clearly what the issue was, and fixed the switch and replaced the fixture quickly. The second time they came out to install two ceiling fixtures and to replace our kitchen outlets with GFCI outlets. Both times they explained to me clearly what the issues were, worked with safety precautions, arrived on time, and charged a reasonable amount. They are super professional, very knowledgeable, and on top of that were friendly with my crazy dogs - I will for sure call them the next time we need anything electrical fixed. We had Art came out last minute to fix our electrical problem with our furnace.  He was able to get our furnace back up and running within 30 minutes.  An honest and affordable electrician.  Highly recommended.

I spoke with Don several times before my appointment to confirm everything that needed to be done as things kept changing on my end. He gave me an idea of pricing ahead of time which I very much appreciated. Two electricians, Steve and Pat, came out on the day of because of the amount of work to be done - fixture installations/removal/replacements and several breaker and outlet repairs. They were on time and easy to work with. They also worked around our painting crew without issue. Everything looks great. Thank you!!!

This is the 2nd time I've use this company.  I put a claim though the home warranty and the company they sent out told me my box needed to be replaced and the 2 main wires to the main had to be replaced.  Matt tested the wires and said the other company was inaccurate.   Saved me $800.  The warranty company wasn't going to pay to upgrade the wire.

Matt was in and out and I have reliable electricity for a life time.  I highly recommend them.

As soon as we found out we had an ejector pump fail, I immediately began calling multiple plumbers to come on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend. OneStop stepped up with a speedy reply and was able to help me out the same day.

We have been dealing with an on-going issue impacting our electric fuse box. We contacted no fewer than five different electric companies with no response before we were given the name of Safe Electrical. Charles, the owner, was wonderful in returning calls throughout this entire process. Alex was the electrician he sent out to look over our dilemma and he was very personable and professional. After getting their advice and their estimate we went ahead with the project. They communicated with us during the entire time and even contacted the City of Naperville for us when we ran into a stumbling block. Alex was on time, prepared with all the necessary materials and worked diligently to help solve our problem. We couldn't be happier. This is a company I wish other businesses used as a model when providing service. A big thank you to Alex and Charles at Safe Electrical.

David was very professional and easy to work with!  We had him install 9 lights and 3 dimmer switches in our home and you could tell from the start that he is very detailed with his work. He treated our project as if it was a project in his own home and made sure to ask my opinion of everything before he finished. I got lucky and he was available on short notice. Our conversations were short, to the point, and I felt he was honest with me.  His cost came in 10% of what another electrician quoted - albeit a very easy quick job.  We'll be back.

Mike and Bogdan explained the process and the steps they have to do in order to get the job done. Very careful around the house, clean and outstanding job overall

I was very pleased with Randel Electric. Randel Electric did work for me over a holiday weekend. They showed up on time, fixed all my issues knowledgeably and quickly, and were very fairly priced.  It is hard to find dependable service professionals nowadays, but Randel was top-notch. I highly recommend.

Edwin is responsive, friendly, and solved our electrical issue promptly. He also installed electric to our deck. Highly recommend.

I called Homer to install two Ring security lights/cameras after a break-in a few hours prior.  He showed up within 2 hours of my phone call and a fabulous job!!   He also recommended a contractor to install a new back door, that the burglars had kicked in.  I will definitely call Homer for future electrical work!   Great job at a fair price!

HandiCo always comes through.  I needed a medicine cabinet rehung and a light fixture fixed.  That wasn't going to take the 2-hour minimum so I added a little paint touch-up to the list.   Tom called 30 min befor his appt window started and asked to come early which was great.  I told him I wanted to get everything done in 2-3 hours and he said that should work.  He worked efficiently and carefully, cleaning up as he went.  After 2 hours everything was fixed and I paid by check. (There was a small fee for credit card use.). The only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is because the price is a little high but it will save you having a return visit - at least unt a few more things break around the house.

I had the pleasure of receiving service from Perfected Electric. Corey was prompt and timely, very communicative, and explained everything very well and in detail.  He crossed all Ts and dotted all Is regarding what to expect for my ceiling fan replacement and installation of my 6 low profile recessed ceiling lights. I am already planning to utilize his services again for a couple of other projects.  He is highly recommended by me.

Just like I previously said, I called A to Z again when I had an electrical issue in one of our flats. Bob was there within an  hour,  assessed the situation, expertly fixed it and charged us fairly. We will continue to use this company for all of our electrical needs and will also continue to recommend them to all of our friends. By the way, they did indeed cold call and offer their companies other services and Im glad they did. Will keep you posted on how that job goes once it's completed. Super excited for the work to begin.

I was looking for someone to move a gas line about one foot below where it was. My new stove didn't fit because the back was hitting the gas line. Anyway, these two guys came out. They didn't seem to know what they were doing. I thought they were supposed to be pros. I was not feeling confident because these guys were going to be working with gas lines. After they said it would take 5 hours at their rate, I asked them to leave. I asked them if they had worked on gas lines before and they shrugged. I dodged a bullet there.  BTW, I hired a professional who did the job in about 1.5 hours and it was half the cost that Fixer wanted to charge me.
