We bought a new dryer that was causing an electrical fuse to blow whenever we used it. I called PB Electrical Services and they came right away, diagnosed the issue as needing a new circuit breaker, and fixed it same day. Great service and I'll definitely use them for future electrical needs!

I was very impressed with the service provided by All Power Electric. Our power went out on a Sunday morning. I called All Power and the response time was very quick. I work with different trades on a daily basis so I can tell you that the service and troubleshooting charges are very reasonable. Tony found a couple of issues and explained what needed to be done, our options, how long it would take to fix and how much it would cost. Everything was finished within a few hours after the initial call. I would recommend All Power Electric to anyone who needs electrical work done.

We just had to have our breaker box replaced and several electrical issues fixed at our home.

We got 3 estimates and Excel Electrical Technologies out of Orland Park was very reasonable.

Their techs that came out were extremely knowledgeable. They were very respectful and cleaned up after their work.

What we thought would be a complicated job was evaluated, repaired, and replacement parts installed in under an hour.  Reasonable rates too.  Highly recommend.  Montoya is now our go-to electrician service.

Dion has done two projects for us in two different (very old) houses and has done a fantastic job in both. Efficient and honest, will troubleshoot with you and give you his straightforward opinion on what can be done and the options for making it work. I appreciate his knowledge and his skill!

Perlongo Electric is exactly what his voicemail claims, your friendly neighborhood electrician. Frank is extremely friendly and upfront with the estimate. He installed 3 ceiling fans and four can lights in my house, and he finished right on time for exactly whet he bid the job for. He actually changed all my old two prong outlets into grounded prong outlets for no additional cost. He was very knowledgable and hard working. It must have been 100 degrees in my attic where he had to run wire for the lights, but he still finished on time. I have called him several time with questions about electrical work and if he can explain a fix for me to do he would, otherwise come and take a look. I was extremely happy with the work Frank did and I would highly recommend him to any friends or family of mine. You will not be disappointed.

Over the last 20 years we tried many electricians to make repairs in our 80 yr old condo with many ancient wiring issues. I can't say enough about the great service that Mike Malek has provided to address my heating needs.  Being new to the area, I have tried a couple HVAC guys.  Mike is very pleasant to deal with, and he provides a sense of trustworthiness, and his rates are competitive.

Vlad (Father) came to our new home for inspection the same day I called. Over two days he helped us with all things electrical. From our mortgage home inspection, we learned of many small (and some large) electrical problems throughout our place. We have a very old home, and Vlad was knowledgeable on all issues and worked tirelessly into the dark hours.

I absolutely love Johny! I recently purchased my first home and I reached out to this company after another company was 5 hours late to my consultation. Volts & Watts is now my one and only option. Not only was I given a same day consultation (and on time) Johny was able to install the vision I was looking for in little to no time at a better rate than what I was originally going to pay. My lights are perfect and give my home such a beautiful modern new look.

Our Generac whole house generator failed to come on during a multi-hour power outage on a Sunday morning. The Generac support line recommended AL Electric as the closest dealer. Andrey picked up the phone after two rings, came out within an hour, and had our generator running within 2 minutes. (The generator had an error code that required dealer service.) His charge for an emergency visit on a Sunday morning was very reasonable and he will be coming back later in the week to do full maintenance on the unit. As the Generac support person said, you need to have a dealer do maintenance on it yearly so AL Electric will be our regular service. Andrey is also very friendly and knowledgeable.

I work for a lighting store and we've recommended ABS electric numerous times. We always hear the best complements about them plus they're very knowledgeable. There are few companies we trust when dealing with certain projects and I never hesitate to let clients know about them.

It's been a couple of weeks since Tom brought me light, and I'd be remiss if I didn't formally thank him and Dawn.  I had reached out to three different providers, but InTown gave the most straighforward answers to my questions.  Not to mention, the hospitality Dawn provided over the phone...I'm all about patience and detail in customer service.
My appointment was set for early September, but I got a surprise call in mid-August offering a visit that day.   Great!  I hadn't had anyone in my home for many months (Covid fears), but Tom showed up in full protective gear.
Financially, I was prepared for the worst, but the final bill seemed like an illusion.  Wow.  Tom came in for one particular task, but listened to me, and provided so much more.  
I said my one disappointment was that he couldn't tune my piano.
So...pardon the essay...I just hadn't expected to be this grateful, and wanted to share my appreciation.

Gave a very reasonable quote to add several new outlets, reroute some unsightly cable wires, repair a spliced alarm wire, and install a new chandelier.

Also a friendly team with good communication.

Called because a recessed light burned out on my ceiling and spoke to a gentleman that gave me a very detailed explanation of what could be wrong and said that it was too involved and he was not interested. Said good luck and hung up the phone on me. Wow.

Steve came to our condominium to install an outlet in the laundry room and a pair of ceiling fixtures in the dining room. Steve worked diligently first installing the outlet. Steve ran wire through a narrow wall placing the outlet in a better place than I imagined was possible. Then working overhead he drilled into our hard concrete ceiling. He measured and exactly placed two pendent lights.  This install was done correctly and no touch up painting was required. Thank you to everyone at Corrigan & Freres. We appreciate Steve's attention to detail.

Without Jamie, we would not be able to call our new house home. Lighting makes a huge difference and Jamie was patient, consultative and cooperative throughout our many asks. We added recess lighting, switched everything to dimmers, electric car charger, added outlets and fixtures and cabinet lighting. He helped give this place a soft beautiful glow that has made us so happy once we moved in. Jamie is talented, gifted and a huge blessing since we knew nothing about electrical work going into this. We would not have wanted anyone else to take on this project. Work with Jamie and you will not be disappointed!!

Don is a bit slow on the draw, and forgets to follow-up at times.  He is climbing up in his years, and I think should be about ready to retire, but despite his occasional forgettfulness, he is a great guy, down-to-earth, and knows his electrical buisness.  He is fair and guarantees his work.  I highly recommend Don Carmen Electric

The pricing is confusing. I was charged an $89 fee to show up which I understood as what would typically be the diagnostic fee and then $125/hr. The guy was here for 20 min, could not actually do the repair, and needed to go do research to see if the parts were available to do the work and I am left with a $214 bill. As an architect who works with construction people on a daily bases, this is not how I have ever seen someone do business. I would say to make sure that they have the capability to do the job and get everything in writing beforehand.
