We bought a new dryer that was causing an electrical fuse to blow whenever we used it. I called PB Electrical Services and they came right away, diagnosed the issue as needing a new circuit breaker, and fixed it same day. Great service and I'll definitely use them for future electrical needs!

Twice now I've relied upon All Power Electric to help me in a pinch.
First, I had an outlet that started to smoke. I thought I could take care of it myself but just managed to make it worse. Tony Juarez showed up to fix my mess in a couple short hours.
Then I decided to install a ring floodlight. This time I called Tony first and he got it done in 30 min. He also gave me some good advice to make sure I kept the integrity of the product in place.
Would definitely recommend this company.

We just had to have our breaker box replaced and several electrical issues fixed at our home.
We got 3 estimates and Excel Electrical Technologies out of Orland Park was very reasonable.
Their techs that came out were extremely knowledgeable. They were very respectful and cleaned up after their work.
We can't say enough about Excel Electrical

Exceptional family-owned business. Uriel and his father do a great job. Professional and efficient. We needed our wiring evaluated in a section of our industrial facility. What we thought would be a complicated job was evaluated, repaired, and replacement parts installed in under an hour. Reasonable rates too. Highly recommend. Montoya is now our go-to electrician service.

Moved outside wiring, installed recessed - canned lighting, increased amperage and installed new box. Fast, good and at a great price. Dion Jones is the best electrician in the Northern Suburbs. No one can beat his quality and price point.

Perlongo Electric is exactly what his voicemail claims, your friendly neighborhood electrician. Frank is extremely friendly and upfront with the estimate. He installed 3 ceiling fans and four can lights in my house, and he finished right on time for exactly whet he bid the job for. He actually changed all my old two prong outlets into grounded prong outlets for no additional cost. He was very knowledgable and hard working. It must have been 100 degrees in my attic where he had to run wire for the lights, but he still finished on time. I have called him several time with questions about electrical work and if he can explain a fix for me to do he would, otherwise come and take a look. I was extremely happy with the work Frank did and I would highly recommend him to any friends or family of mine. You will not be disappointed.

Showed up the same day that I called. Very friendly and helpful. Knows his stuff. I would definitely call again.

Super nice workers: this estimate came in 20% less than the others, but quality was not compromised. I had a ductless a/c system with Mitsubishi products. I love it-don't know why I waited so long!

I was in the electrical distribution business for over 14 years and I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to companies professionalism and quality work. I called Father and Son Electrical late in the afternoon and they were able to come out within a couple of hours and fix our issue. I highly recommend using this company for all your electrical needs! I was blown away by them!

We hired a service from Angi's List to have a wall knocked down in our home. Sooo we had to have some electricity rerouted. The electrician, they brought with them, completely bailed on us and left us with wires hanging and outlets exposed. With two boys and two dogs we had to find an electrician reliable and fast. We gave Johnny a call and he really came through for us. He was friendly, reasonable, and just an over all a really cool guy. The electrical work was neat and thorough. We will be using his services for our basemanent and any other future projects.

Our Generac whole house generator failed to come on during a multi-hour power outage on a Sunday morning. The Generac support line recommended AL Electric as the closest dealer. Andrey picked up the phone after two rings, came out within an hour, and had our generator running within 2 minutes. (The generator had an error code that required dealer service.) His charge for an emergency visit on a Sunday morning was very reasonable and he will be coming back later in the week to do full maintenance on the unit. As the Generac support person said, you need to have a dealer do maintenance on it yearly so AL Electric will be our regular service. Andrey is also very friendly and knowledgeable.

I work for a lighting store and we've recommended ABS electric numerous times. We always hear the best complements about them plus they're very knowledgeable. There are few companies we trust when dealing with certain projects and I never hesitate to let clients know about them.

We recently hired Nick to install recessed lighting throughout our home. We were so pleased with his work that we expanded the scope of our project and had him also install chandeliers, tv's, ceiling fans, light timers, outdoor lighting, etc. Nick's work helped transform our dated house to the home we always wanted. Nick is extremely skilled but also polite, punctual and eager to please nit-picky homeowners like myself. Nick, thank you again for your high quality work -- we look forward to working with you again soon!

I am a caregiver and the people I do so for had a long standing problem in one of their two bathrooms - a warped switch and mirror light issue. I thought I could do the job. I couldn't. I actually caused the working lights in it to go out. Along comes a church friend of the man of the house who said he was an electrician and claimed he could fix it. He tried for two hours. Not only could he not do so, he caused a fan & the power in the two bedrooms & hallway to go out. I cringe, thinking we got a major problem on our hands with very limited bux to spend.
I look on Craigslist for an electrician. There's one in there that takes up several ad spaces, has a big block ad with exhaustive claims what they can do inside each of them, along with a phone number in big print. I call it. Number out of service. Ugh! Frustration sets in. Meanwhile, huge dollar signs go thru my mind, thinking the electrical box might need pulling or worse.
I decided to check Yelp for a solution (Angie's List was a pain in the butt to navigate online). I was desperate. I wanted to find someone or some firm close to Evanston. I found Sal, looked thru the first dozen reviews and saw he was 5 stars with everyone. I thought OMG, let's give him a shot. He was immediately available, told me how much he'd charge (IMO, a pittance) and said he'd be at the condo in less than half an hour. In his big hearty Hungarian (and other nationality) accent, he explained a few things I could understand (along with a few I couldn't) and made me feel like it was no big deal what he was doing, that everything that needed fixing would occur thru those particular wires on the bathroom wall and he would get it done. And he did. He showed me a bit of his wire testing, told me what wires were for what (and one that really didn't belong) and more. I told him how I found him and that I'd give him 10 stars if I could. He just continued and smiled, finishing up in roughly an hour with every single issue fixed everywhere, including those in the bathroom that were there for decades.
I will be moving downstate sometime this summer so I probably won't be calling Sal again (unless there is another electrical issue while I'm still here) but I have lots of contacts in the metro Chicago area and I wouldn't bat an eyelash recommending Sal to any of them needing an electrician. This fine older gent is second to none and if I could take him downstate with me to fix any electrical issues where I'm moving to, I would do so in a heartbeat. Absolutely fabulous experience to what I envisioned was going to be a catastrophe.

They are really professional. I need to change the electrical panel and my friend recommended Mike. He came to my house and inspected and told me there is no need to upgrade to the more expensive 200 A panel since there are not many high power equipment. Later to convince the village that there is no need to upgrade, he came again to take photos. The quote he gave me is also very reasonable. And during the day when his staff came to work, Mike also came later to inspect and answer any questions I had. So I really appreciate their service. Both Mike and his staff are really good. The only concern would be that they don't have many people, and might have a lot of work load, so it might take some time to arrange the work date.

So happy we found Shock Tech 2. Jamie (the owner) recently installed Tesla EV charger in our garage that required running about 60ft of conduit from the basement to garage. Jamie did a fantastic job! Very impressed! I appreciated his consistent communication throughout the entire process and was very happy that my work was able to be completed within days after receiving the quote. The pricing was also competitive comparing to another quote I got. Will definitely use them again for future electrical work (I'm already planning to hire him to tackle some smaller projects I have). Highly recommend.

Don is a bit slow on the draw, and forgets to follow-up at times. He is climbing up in his years, and I think should be about ready to retire, but despite his occasional forgettfulness, he is a great guy, down-to-earth, and knows his electrical buisness. He is fair and guarantees his work. I highly recommend Don Carmen Electric

When other handymen refused to work on my job, Rob stepped up with his crew to get it done. Alex was great when he showed up and got things done quickly.
I would recommend them and use them again.
