Atlas saves the day at last. We had a sewerage back up every 3-4 months on the bottom floor and nothing helped due to a separation in the main clay pipes. We had tried clearing it multiple times, but 3-4 months later, bottom shower back up would happen again. It was identified by multiple plumbing company that we needed a sewer lateral replacement of the clay pipe. Atlas gave us a quote that was unbelievable, average of 3k saving from multiple plumbing companies. All companies recommend pipe bursting method with multi year warranty on the work.

Atlas came out in couple weeks of scheduling a time and after getting all the permits, started working.

Within couple weeks prep, and 3 days of work,

- They replaced our clay pipes with with a new 4in 70ft HDPE to the main sewer.
- Got Daly City inspection cleared.

We've not have problems ever since.

They also accept credit cards without fees! Thank you Atlas!

Two stars for regular rooting sewer job, but don't let them do anything more than that. The plumber Juan arrived promptly, saw the clogged pipe and told me it would be $85 to root the drain or $125 to root the kitchen and main sewer and put the p-trap pipe back. I told him to do the $125 job as I don't want to fuss with the pipes.

He goes back to his van, couldn't find a wrench. WTF? You're a plumber and you don't carry a freaking wrench? So, I let him borrow mine. Yes, I let the plumber borrow my own tools. The rooting part was fine, but he then suggested he needs to go under the crawlspace to look at the kitchen pipes. Okay... 10 min. later he comes out and tells me I need to replace part of the pipe and he would give me a special price for $850. I told him I would think about it, he then proceeds to write up the bill of $220. Which was not the price he first quoted me. Mind you this was less than one hour of work. So, I asked him what about the $850 special he was going to cut me. He thought about it for a second and told me if I am willing to do it before certain date he would give me the deal. I reluctantly said yes, and he left.

After thinking about it more, it just didn't add up for me. So I called around to see how much other plumbers would charge to replace a section of the pipe. I got three bids and all three were $200 under the deal Juan quoted me. So, I called and told them not to come back and I'll send a check for $220.

It was a $220 one hour rooting job using my tools. I should have charged him $$$ for using my tools. I'm really surprised that they got so high rating in Yelp... What a disappointing yelp referral. Would not recommend or use them again.

People need to stop handing out 5 stars like there's no tomorrow. there's a new ruler in town and I'm watching you guys.

Sean has been our plumber for over a year, and has been completely so dependable, quick, trustworthy and so great at his job! He is the only plumber we have ever trusted in our house without us home.

He is very professional and gets the job done very well and SO timely. He has fixed our bathroom sink and shower, our kitchen sink, and our water heater!

We got a letter from the SF Water Dept that alerted us to a poor water main pipe that was rusting.  I saw the great reviews on Yelp about Save Now Plumbing. I called and spoke to Ben.  He came by the same day to give us an estimate to replace the water main and sewer pipe. It was fair and competitive. He was very responsive every time I called and left a message. We agreed on a date that also worked for the cement contractor. Ben took care of everything, the permits, markings, and showing up as planned with Sal and Jose to do all the digging and replacing of pipes.  They successfully completed the work in one day and it passed inspection the next morning at 630am. They put the sand back in place and it was all ready for the cement work.
These guys are professional and do excellent work.  We highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs.

My water heater conked out on me and I wasn't sure what to do. I Messaged Alameda Rooter that  evening and they had Jose come out inspect my water heater the next morning. Turns out I needed a new water heater. I was quoted a more then fair price, and boy I have never been more impressed with the workmanship and efficiency that Jose provided us. My new water heater was in that evening in less then 24hrs! Highly highly recommend Alameda Rooter.

My impression of Elite Rooter: Too expensive and not reliable.

My toilet was not flushing properly. Saw an attractive advertisement in the newspaper - Elite Rooter Drain or It's Free $69. So I called Elite Rooter. They came out the next day. The young fellow was pleasant. Using a screw device he found some roots close to the toilet base. He said he would remove the toilet, which would cost about $380. He was unclear about whether the pipes have been damaged by the roots and he did not know the total cost of the repair.

It was supper time. I was tired and hungry. So the fellow said he would have a supervisor/expert call me in the morning to explain more clearly and quote a price for repair. That person did not call me the next morning nor any of the following days. The original junior fellow did call me the next day but he did not recall what he told me the prior day, so I reminded him to have the expert/supervisor call.

So I gave up on Elite Rooter. Called another plumbing business which removed the toilet, cut out the roots and charged me about $200 which was a LOT less than what Elite Rooter intended to charge me.

Garbage disposal was stuck and wouldn't move. Keshab gave me a time and was there within 30 min of it. Pleasant fellow. Issue was pretty straightforward but we were missing all the tools. Fortunately, he had everything so figured out the stuck blade, told me what to do in future and that was it. Terrific fellow.

Amado and his team are always responsive, and will problem solve until the issue is completely fixed. Westgate re-did our entire plumbing for our remodel. Highly recommend.

Today Chris and Luis arrived not just on time, but a little early! They worked the entire day on two big projects and finished them both! They were driving down my driveway at the end of a long, hard day and as I arrived home they turned around and came back to the house to give me a tutorial on the new system they had installed. They went above and beyond and I have already asked them to come back for another project!!!

Mario is a LIFE SAVER!!!

Our double bathroom sinks were both clogged... as in not draining. At all. Not even a drip. My husband and I were reduced to brushing our teeth in the bathtub. Mario came out, called and texted *before* he arrived, and figured out that the pipes weren't configured correctly. ARGH!

Fortunately, we determined that he could access the pipes from underneath the house in our super creepy Blair Witch Basement. Mario bravely waded through stacks of things we're storing in the basement but can't give away just in case, figured out which pipe it was and cleared it out of its disgusting goop. Not only that, but he was polite, kind, timely and efficient. Precision Rooter & Drain is lucky to have a guy like Mario! I can't say enough good things about him. :)

JC Green Plumbing is a class act!! Everyone from the office staff to the plumbers are pleasant, trustworthy and honest and super knowlegeable!!  We've used them at work and I've used their services at home and am more impressed everytime we meet. Prices are not over done and they do not try to take you to the cleaners!

Bayshore plumbers just replaced our sewer pipe and fixed the connection to the mains, and they did an excellent job: great customer interaction, timely, fast and clean. Took care of everything very smoothly, and the driveway looks as good as it used to.

I can't speak more highly of Shedrick & his son's expertise, experience, timeliness, professionalism, and character.  My problem started after accidentally drilling into a gas pipeline in a very old SF building.  After receiving multiple quotes & estimates from Yelp Quotes, Shedrick was quick to respond & explain what needed to be done to fix the problem, without charging me an arm & a leg like a few other contractors.  The whole experience was easy & frictionless.  More than happy to do a customer reference call for Shedrick at any time.

We woke up on a Saturday to find our hot water heater had cracked and was leaking water all over the place! I called a few companies and ultimately went with Orlando and Next Level...so glad I did. He showed up on time, prepared, and was clean and efficient.  He did a great job on the install and even replaced a valve that I forgot to mention when I called him, but he noticed it and swapped it out. His price was very reasonable and he was super easy to work with. Gonna make him my go-to guy! Highly recommend!

They just completed our sewer-lateral overhaul for Alameda Co. compliance.  Service is professional, amicable, and transparent  ((quoted price for the work and final invoice were nearly identical))  Also, our sewer lateral was especially deep-down, but was apparently no problem for Will and his crew.   10/10 would recommend, and will certainly be calling them back for internal plumbing work in the coming months.

I contacted KP and they sent Dave over quickly. He unclogged my shower tub drain in such a short amount of time. It has slowly been getting worse and worse over the last few weeks. Thankfully one of my friends knew Dave personally and gave me his personal number. He was super friendly and got the job done  thanks to Dave, I wouldn't have to be stuck with it anymore!

My dad tried to fix a small leak at a shutoff valve under a bathroom sink.  It didn't work as planned and the water for the entire house had to be shut off.

Stan, who was recommended by another plumber, showed up within hours to save the situation.  I definitely recommend Stan and will be using his services in the future.

In what appeared to be a most difficult installation of a washer and dryer, Albert Nahman managed to get everything in seamlessly and quickly beyond my expectations.  A lot was involved, but under the direction of Fernando who demonstrated the perfect example of courtesy and professionalism, the job was completed on budget and on time.  Quick, clean  and reasonable cost  made  this  the gold standard  I would use  for  any other contractor.
