Bob has been our buildings plumber for years now and I can't think of using anyone else. This guy is the real deal. I say no more.

We recently purchased a house in Gilroy and were unaware of how super hard the water is here. Within a couple of days of moving in, our brand new stainless steel sink in the kitchen and glassed in shower had hard water spots all over it that were very difficult to remove with the existing hard water being used to try to clean it.

Steve, from True-Tech Water (Hague is the water softener product), showed up one day and performed tests to show how hard it was. He is super friendly and very knowledgeable about different water treatments. We felt very comfortable putting our trust in him.

Although our new house did not come with a water softener, it did have the plumbing for it. The set up was super easy for us...although not as easy for the guy that had to dig through concrete for the outside drip (not sure what it's called exactly)...but Steve paid the guy extra and that showed me what a great guy he is...taking care of his contractors. It also does not take up a huge amount of room in our garage.

We got a whole house filtration system and WOW, what a difference! And it was immediate. Our skin (and my hair) have never been so soft. After washing our clothes the first time, they were softer. We used a ton less product to get everything clean. Think about that...shampoo, conditioner, laundry soap / softener, dish soap, dishwasher soap, etc. That's a lot of savings that will eventually pay for the water softener itself. It's not cheap; however it's definitely worth it!

And, Steve came back two weeks later and performed all the tests he performed before the water softener was installed to show (and make sure) that it was working properly. Thanks Steve!!!!

My hot water dual valve under my sink stopped working after I did a Saturday DIY faucet replacement. I called Abraham and he was here in an hour. He investigated the valve and got water going again. I also asked him to take a look at my shower, which has had hot & cold reversed for years - given that it's just a single knob to control pressure and temperature, that was rough. He experimented with rotating the... mechanism in the wall (?) and was able to correct it. Abraham also gave me a couple tips to keep things running smoothly. Thank you!

Roberto and his team were punctual, professional, knowledgeable and helped me quickly with my water leak issue. From finding the leak, to providing a quote, explaining the process to me and quickly fixing the issue - I couldn't be more happy with their service. Highly recommended.

Disappointingly expensive.  Initially need a rooter job for the washer drain pipe for washing machine.  Dr. Drain said the pipe was too corroded and it did have a few curves making a rooter job tough.  Fine.  My senior wife was told that the drain pipe should be replaced.  Ok,  fine,  replace the drain pipe.  5 feet of old metal drain pipe (with P-trap) was cut off and 5 feet of new plastic drain pipe added (with P-trap) and attached by metal clamps.  Less than 1 hour labor.  Cost was $489.00.  Then, wife asked Dr. Drain to replace 1 corroded water supply spigot ($10.00 part) and two water supply hoses (maybe $15.00) and for this: 1) labor to take off old spigot and 2) add new spigot, 3) take off old water supply hoses and 4) replace with new hoses was 15 minutes max,  cost was $245.00.   When I got home and saw the bill,   texted Dr. Drain to ask for an explanation of the 2nd charge being so high.   They texted back we came up with $245.00 as we had to add a (water) supply hose and move your laundry (equipment) back in place.  This washer and dryer was moved a total of 4 feet.   All in all,  paid $734.00 for about $30.00 of materials and about an hour of labor.  Dr. Drain sent a $100.00 check rebate but I will say homeowner beware as they go after home run pricing.  Workmanship is fine.   Pricing is questionable.

I had Eric Brand plumbing come over to give me a second opinion after I had an estimate for almost $2,000.  Mark spent the time to figure out what the problem actually was and repaired in on the spot for $250.00.  He was smart, honest, efficient and really tenacious in figuring out the cause of our leak.  Spoiler alert: It had nothing to do with the $2,000 worth of work the other plumber said was necessary.  It makes a big difference to have someone competent and honest do your work.  Eric Brand Plumbing has a permanent customer here.

We called Jorge from Alfa Plumbing on the recommendation of our neighbor, after we discovered a huge leak from our water meter with water gushing out on a Sunday morning. EBMUD came out immediately only to let us know it was our problem, not theirs. Jorge came within an hour of calling him, quickly diagnosed the problem, explained how much the cost would be,  and made recommendations that were really helpful. The price was more than fair, and his work was excellent. We then asked him to check out a leaky toilet and an issue that we had with a bathroom faucet. He fixed both for us, and we are so happy with his work.

Noe is great and very easy to work with! They did a great job on my sewer lateral and beat the price of everyone else. Also had Noe come and check on a sink drain and dishwasher problem, turns out they weren't plumbing issues but he gave me good advice and direction. Very quick to respond and fast appointments.

Better Rooter did a great job replacing my sewer lateral. I was a bit concerned they didn't service in my area but they gladly came out to San Ramon and got the job done within 2 days! Alex was very professional and gave me a reasonable quote within minutes the whole crew did a great job! Will definitely recommend anyone to call Better Rooter they will get the job done. Thanks again to everyone from Better Rooter will be using them again in the future !!!

If the Yelp fairy allowed me to award just one 6th star to all the reviews I've given over the years, it would go to Primo Plumbing. Charles is a master plumber, as evidenced by the monster systems he works on at SFO in the mornings. He fixed a number of issues in my house, from replacing the sink faucet to fixing my bath tub stopper. Some of these required creative solutions that stumped my prior plumber. He's also responsive, polite, and a swell guy.

A warning about billing, however: Charles may try to undercharge you. If he pulls this stunt, stay firm and insist in paying him for his time and materials in full.

Jason was fantastic! I had to try and arrange for a plumber to replace some toilets at a house in SF, while I live in Sacramento. He helped us determine what would work, told me about the SF specific gallons per flush that I had no clue about, took pictures of toilets at the store, and was calling and emailing back and forth regularly to keep me in the loop. When I made a mistake and ordered an extra toilet, he even offered to return it to Home Depot for me so I didn't have to come to the city. In short, he was exceptional, and if we ever need a plumber in SF again, I will be using Pipeline Plumbing!

The communication was prompt and my shower head was fixed quickly. However the charge of 285$ for 10 min of service is insane. I was just tired of dealing with it on my end and went ahead with it. But you can buy it from Home Depot for $10 and DIY.

Matteo's name was given to us by the store where we bought our Graff shower features. Seems only a handful of plumbers are capable or willing to touch this high end brand. Matteo came to do an initial consultation and suggested how we should move forward. He came back three days later. Not only was he able to shut off the plumbing in our multi-unit building (O'Grady has the license and insurance required by our HOA) but he was able to fix our shower problem within the hour that he originally estimated. Matteo communicated well, was prompt, and very respectful of our place. I feel like we finally found a plumber we could trust. I totally recommend Matteo and O'Grady Plumbing.

Taz Plumbing came out today to look at an issue we were having with a bad smell coming from our pipes. They were on-time, courteous, and figured out the issue and a solution very quickly. Thank goodness it wasn't anything major. They were honest and reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again.

As reviewed before. If I hadn't read the prior reviews, I would have been shocked. But knowing the MO, I wasn't so surprised.
My home warranty company sent this guy out to fix my toilet. After 10 seconds, he stated that this would not be covered since it is wall mounted. He said he would have to call my insurance and get another guy to help. He did arrive late, but at least he came (unlike the last plumber). He said he would call me back. I won't be waiting by the phone.
