Drigo came out to clear a pipe backup within a half hour. He quickly ascertained the location of the blockage, cleared it out, and then tested the water flow a few times to make sure the blockage was cleared out. He also cleaned up after and then recommended a part to properly seal up the clean out as well. Great job!

Max solved a problem that other plumbers either said couldn't be solved - or wanted to solve with ugly visible pipes. He found a creative solution to help me run gas to a new furnace in a way that was elegant, fast and affordable. He got the work done quickly and to a high standard. I am happy that I called on Derek Ritchie to upgrade all four of the faucets in my 45-year-old Point Richmond home.  He came by and looked at the faucets, recommended Moen brand and gave me a quote that sounded fair.  He and his helper came by after picking up the new equipment and did the job in one day.  I love my new faucets.   Derek is a very pleasant and friendly man, I am glad I have him as a contact and I will definitely call him for my next plumbing job.

Bob was very flexible with scheduling my back flow test.  He was prompt and was also very efficient  with his time (and mine).  He filed all the necessary paperwork for me and sent me a copy via e-mail.  The guy is quite knowledgeable and even offered advice on an unrelated problem I had which proved very helpful.

Eugene and Alex were great.  I had them replace a bedroom door.  Home Depot cut the door in the wrong dimensions and Alex was there to deal with it and then pick up the correct door 4 weeks later.  The door arrived and they were able to switch it out and paint.  Door looks great!  They were also able to do other small caulking repairs around the house.

Great communication, easy to work with and I would use him again for anything else that I needed to get done.

I have only good things to say about Victor--he is prompt, personable, hard working and honest. It's rarely fun to need a plumber, and Victor is not only easy to have around but I completely trust him to get the job done well.

So, here's another stellar review for Awais and Elite Plumbing. We had a water heater leak, and Awais was able to come out the next day and install the new water heater. Prompt, professional and polite! We've already scheduled another job that has been on the back burner for awhile (replacing the water main shut off valve) and will schedule another project with Awais when that one is done. It's a relief to know that you've found someone you can count on-job well done, Awais!

Mejia's Plumbing Service replaced tubing that carried water to my ice box. Rene, owner also installed a small facet which will allow me to turn off the water supply to my refrigerator, if needed.  As soon as Rene completed the installation, I was able to drink water from the door of my refrigerator.  Additionally, after so many hours had pasted, my ice maker started making ice again.  I was very pleased with the excellent service of Mejia's Plumbing, in that, Rene presented himself professionally when interacting with me; he explained what he had to do to fix the problem; he completed the repair in a reasonable amount of time and he made sure that water flowed from the refrigerator prior to leaving.  If you are looking for a dependable and skilled plumber, I encourage you to contact the Mejia's Plumbing Company.  You won't be disappointed.

We are so happy we called Meir. He was able to accommodate us within a couple of hours of contacting him--on a Saturday morning, no less--to fix our main sewer line that had backed up and formed a huge puddle of you know what on the garage floor.

A friendly, knowledgeable plumber with a great sense of humor, Meir's customer service skills are top notch. And he cleared our clogged sewer line before the hour was up.

Ted is not only a super cool dude, he is very thorough and reliable. He does his work quickly and most efficiently without skimping on quality. We hired Ted to come by and fix our janky light fixture that was placed by our homes previous owner, and all I can say is that I wish Ted was hired for that job in the very beginning!

I used this place twice but it's hard to recommend this place again as the quote I received is ridiculous. I can tell you that for the same thing the price went up from $300 to $540 for unclogging the garbage disposal. The biggest surprise was fixing a leaking faucet in the master bedroom which was quoted let's just say 4 digits because I was told that it was unreachable and the cabinet needed to be cut and reassembled. Of course I found someone else who didn't need to do any of that for 1/10 of the price.

My main sewer pipe broke - yukkkk ... Called the Pipe Spy folks for help. They were here shortly after I called. The boss - Heiko - came himself since his crew was busy at another job. He helped to locate the problem with his cool remote camera which can be inserted into the pipe system. He dug through sticky clay to a depth of almost 6 feet, and fixed the broken old pipe. The camera images showed roots growing into the old clay pipe system at several places, so he recommended to replace the entire main sewer pipe, which made sense to me. Two days later his work crew of 5 people showed up, and they replaced the whole pipe. They dug two deep holes,  pulled the new pipe in, and created a new clean-out access. The Berkeley building inspector came by and checked it off (which is great since for any house sale in Berkeley this pipe replacement needs to have been done). All this happened in one day. The crew was friendly, hard working, informative - and very clean ! The side of my house looked better after the repair than before, despite all the excavation work. The price for the repair seemed reasonable. I am happy, and recommend the Pipe Spies highly.

I had three leaks and my water bills were skyrocketing. Gladiator, represented by the very courteous and professional Raul, came in and assessed the situation very quickly. Raul then explained it to me in a way where I instantly understood what was happening.

They were on time and did fantastic work. They cleaned up after themselves and left no trace they had ever been there  I was sick, lying around like a slug while they were there. They were very respectful to me. They finished quickly and I got a very fair invoice.

I'd called Bill to get a basic repair job done on a leaky toilet tank that was running and wasting water.  I could have easily done this myself, but just didn't have the time.  After calling to make an appointment, Bill said he would call me back either later that afternoon, or the next morning about an hour before he'd come by, which was fine with me.  I gave him a description of the problem, my phone and address information, and we planned for him to come by and fix.  By late the next afternoon he hadn't called.  So I called him back, and he then told me he wasn't going to be able to come by that day either.  So I said I'd find someone else.  So now I'm back to calling other plumbers on Yelp and hoping for better luck next time.
