We wanted to replaced our leaking tank water heater with a tankless water heater. They were the first company to respond on a Friday to our request for a quote. Andrew provided me with two different alternative estimates, depending on the type of equipment. Andrew was very thorough and was able to answer my questions. We got other estimates, however Andrew was hands down the best. We told them on Monday that we wanted to go with the more expensive option and they arrived on Tuesday morning to install the tankless water heater. Andrew was very professional, did a great job and was able to get the new water heater installed and working on Tuesday.

Dont normally review, but had to for this company. They just installed a replacement tankless water heater for me. I called 2 other plumbers first and these guys were less expensive and faster turnaround time. Called on Monday with problem and they asked for pictures. By Monday afternoon they replied with a quote for a replacement unit and said they could install Friday morning. Arrived on Friday on time, answered all questions and began work. The plumber, Drew, was young, but very personable and knowledgeable. He completed the job in 2.5 hours, cleaned up all of the trash, including wiping out the not-normally-seen area where he worked. Along the way he fixed one associated problem in the house and looked at another issue that I thought I had. I definitely will use these guys as my go to plummer!

Sometimes Yelp can be a let down, but not in this case.

We had a new hot water heater installed by Alex this past December (a couple days after Christmas) and we are so pleased with his work. Everything from beginning to end was perfect, communicating through text and being able to pay with cc. Alex came, assessed the situation and was on it with a solution.

Alex and his assistant were very professional, personable and answered any little questions I had, any mess (they had to replace some additional parts because our house it a older) they made they made sure to clean up after themselves.

As far as price is concerned I think it was fair, it was certainly something we could not do ourselves. I mean, they hauled our old water heater away, bought in a new one, installed the new heater and other components and made sure to not leave a mess.

Excellent. Awesome. Fantastic. I'm sure I can go on but you get the point. Please support your local businesses!!!! :)

Generations plumbing came highly recommended by another professional in the field so I went along with the suggestion. I can't tell you how awesome it is to see a father teaching his son a skill set and sharing all of his expertise. I was super impressed with Alex and his son. From start to finish they were courteous and very professional.

Shared tips on which brands of hardware to purchase. Also had prompt communication and totally fit our issue into their schedule. After our initial phone call he came to our property for an estimate the next morning. He then also fit us in the schedule first thing the next day to fix our plumbing issue.

Had him fix our pipe issue, swap out three valves and install a new faucet. They kept their workspace neat and tidy.

So needless to say I highly recommend this company for any and all plumbing concerns. You will not be disappointed.

They have been to our home twice the first repair was in shower and was perfect the second repair was for shut off vavle which another company screw up and he did a good job but a little bite pricey and less communication on second repair but you do may more for quality work the only reason for 4 start was the lack of combination on second visit. Last week our water heater decided to quit on us. We called Generations, and they came out within a few hours. Drew and his partner were able to replace the heater the next morning. In spite of a tight location for a 75 gallon tank, they did a great installation job. They also replumbed my recirculation pump lines. They left the garage looking like nothing happened. Very impressed with this company!
I was google searching a service to replace our water tank and replace it with a tankless version. The pilot on our 6 year old tank was defective and didn't heat our water on occasion. I reached out to Generations Plumbing via Yelp and was pleasantly surprised how quickly Alex got back to me. He quoted and left it at that. No sales push.
I made the appointment and Andrew came to our house. He looked at our existing tank and current situation to which he recommended a replacement of the pilot ignitor assembly and control valve. In a little over an hour, Andrew took care of the replacement and saved us a lot of money.

Excellent service! Me and my husband recently talked about about changing our old water heater for a tankless water heater. Unfortunately it came sooner than we planed when our heater decided to take a dump on us. We called Generations plumbing and they where able to fit us in quickly. Not only do they bring the tankless water heater, they also took our large heater with them. Alex with Generations advices us into looking at rebates with So Cal Gas, and gave us all information needed to apply, I am currently waiting on a possible $1500 rebate back thanks to his advice. I am so impressed with the honesty and work from this company! My hot water heater broke and I received several quotes from other companies that quoted me double or triple what Generations Plumbing quoted me for the same parts. They checked my water heater and told me it was under warranty and all I needed to pay was the warranty cost of 30$. Other companies told me the warranty cost was 70-150$. They ordered the part right away and installed it the day it came in. Their communication was great. I don't normally leave a review but I was so impressed by this company!!!

I called (I know zero about what my issue was) described best I could over the phone he was 3rd plumber I spoke to, Alex is his name. He was the only one who was patient enough to listen to me try to explain what my problem was. And I went in order from top Yelp reviews. He listened and then basically determined it was an emergency enough to make an effort to get here same day and guess what! it was!!!! I then called to get a couple more quotes after and I saved about 100.00 dealing with him. My handy man had already assured me of that prior to him coming down, when he quoted me, but I always like to make sure since I don't know anything! But even better this guy was sooooooo sweet. I just am so grateful for Yelp because of this I have been able to find with a little patience and luck two in a row! But YES I soooooo recommend GENERATIONS plumbing he made me a priority and thank goodness he did and it was a little fix but could have been much worse and he shared info happily with my handy man, for like next time and gave me a great price, he was just all around super sweet fare, clean, fast and I just can't say enough. You can depend on Generations! I've used Alex twice now for some plumbing at my house. First time he replaced some tub and shower fixtures in two bathrooms. Second time I called him out to replace my hot water heater. While he was there I had him test my water pressure. Turns out my pressure regulator wasn't working and I was pushing way over 110 psi into my house. Not good and could of had a pipe blow. So the pressure regulator got replaced with the water heater. Alex works clean and cleans up when he's done. Great customer service and reasonably priced.

Alex is a super nice and friendly guy. His company seems very professional and he was able to see me same day when my water heater went out. That is why I've given Generations Plumbing 2 stars instead of one based on my experience with them.

However, while I agreed to pay the service fee of $65 to have him come out, I didn't feel he took the time to really diagnose the issue and offer a reasonable solution. Upon first looking at my water heater, Alex immediately suggested that without the model number, he couldn't do anything and that I should just pay him $1200 for a whole new heater. This is just not the case. At one point I even asked Do you even want to test it?, because he had not even touched it or even look closely at it. I called the manufacturer who was able to tell me the model number and further diagnose the problem. It ended up being a severed wire to the electrode on the igniter, which was a $10 part at home depot. I did the work myself and my water heater is working fine. I am not an expert, but the fix was pretty straight forward and I confirmed the steps to fix it with the help from the water heater manufacturer.

If I had listened to Alex, I would have replaced a perfectly good hot water heater. I feel that if he had done just a little bit more investigating, he would have found the same issue I did and I probably would have paid him for the 2-3 hours worth of work that I ended up having to do (while taking time off from my job). I felt he would have been better off, and made more money if he properly diagnosed my issue. I wouldn't have had to take time off from work and he would have been paid more than just the service fee.

Again, he's a great guy and I'm sure he knows his profession very well, but I didn't feel like his service with me specifically was very helpful. I only hope his other customers are not taken advantage of because they may not do the little bit of research I was forced to, due to the misdiagnosis.

So happy!

Messaged business thru Yelp, stating our troubles with low hot water pressure and strange noises coming from the old heater. Was worried it was going out and was facing a several hundred dollar project.

Received a quick response from Generations with an appointment time for the next day. A very pleasant and professional Mr. Flores arrived, listened to me and the heater, and quickly diagnosed the problem. Fixed it within minutes, charging only a very nominal fee that was probably less than what most plumbers would charge to merely come out and take a look.

Water pressure is now super strong and no noises from heater. Yay!

We had our water heater go out, and called 3 plumbers. Alex was the only one to return our call, and did so very quickly. My wife was home alone, and being somewhat new homeowners she was a little frazzled by the water leaking around the garage. Over the phone, Alex helped her turn off the water to the water heater and gave us a very reasonable quote on a replacement.

I have never written a review on anything or anybody before. I now have to because Alex of Generations Plumbing is a Rock Star and needs to be recognized.

It started back in October after trying to educate ourselves on tankless water heaters, Alex not only provided the pros and cons, but his bid was incredibly competitive and we went with him and had a Noritz tankless water heater installed. He was unbelievably professional, meticulous and just plain good.

After that we also hired him to install a faucet in our laundry sink. I know this doesn't sound like a tough job but the original facet was almost 20 years old with tons of corrosion that would have made a DIY very challenging. Another very reasonably priced professional job.

This brings me to today. Last night my wife and I returned home from visiting family back East for the Holidays. We came home to a busted main water pipe in our front yard. I called Alex at 7 PM last night and explained the situation. He made some calls to rearrange today's schedule so he could be at our house this morning to assess the problem. After much digging and calling an assistant he was able to identify where the break was and fix it. After over 5 hours of hard work, the problem is fixed, you would never know area was dug up and I was able to shower. When seeing the extent of the problem last night, having water back on this afternoon was not a bet I would have taken.

This guy is really good and I highly recommend him to anyone with plumbing needs.

I especially recommend Alex if you are considering a tankless water heater. He really knows this product area and does not cut any corners when installing one.

They say confession is good for the soul and I confess: I got stuck on a do-it-yourself plumbing project. I had a couple of plumbers quote me prices to do the whole job of installing my whole house water filtration system and the prices were unreasonably high...cha-CHING! I decided to install myself and save some dollars. I was in the home stretch when I turned the water on and had a couple of small leaks where I had soldered copper and fittings together. I tried to re-do my work but to no avail.

I saw good things about Generations Plumbing and asked if they could come out today. Alex said he could be here in about an hour and he showed up in under an hour. He checked out the leaks, drained the system, re-soldered the bad joint, redid some of my plastic (PVC) connections with better sealant than I could get at Home Depot, tested it a was done in about an hour and charged me a very reasonable fee.
Yes, the price was right on but it was worth my not worrying about problems later on.

Just for kicks I asked what he would charge to do the entire installation from start to finish. His price was about $100-275 less than what the first two plumber quoted me.
Finding a honest plumber is worth their weight in gold. What is just as important is a guy who takes pride in doing every job right. He told me what they do on water heater installs that is head and shoulders above what other plumbers do for the same price, as far as doing it to current building code. While I don't need a water heater right now Alex would be my first choice for the job.

I've called Alex a few more times since the last time I wrote this review to fix various things around the house. Each time he has been really responsive (and will respond via text which is great for people like me who have phone anxiety) and has been able to make time to come out within a day. He installed a new toilet for us, which involved fixing a broken flange that our home warranty company pretended was not an issue. The broken part of the flange was really stubborn, but he was able to fix it at minimal cost and minimal fuss. He also fixed a leak in our master bathroom sink. The sink was leaking again six months later but in a different place, but he fixed the leak and wouldn't take my money for the trouble. He is forever our favorite plumber and our go to guy.

The faucet in the bathtub was leaking very bad. Needed it fixed right away. Got on Yelp and found Generations Plumbing Company. Spoke to Alex Flores and gave me an estimate and I was able to get an appointment the same day within a 2 hour notice. Alex made it possible for me to get the appointment. The leak was fixed within less than 20 minutes. Alex provided excellent customer service and was very courteous. He was very knowledgeable and honest explaining the work he was about to do. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GENERATIONS PLUMBING COMPANY FOR ANY PLUMBING!!!

Excellent service! Love that my call was answered immediately and I didn't have to wait around for a return call. I was given a window for them to come (1-3) and they arrived a few minutes after one. They were knowledgeable and honest wit their pricing. I will use them for all of my plumbing needs. Highly recommend!

I am so glad that I stumbled upon Generations Plumbing. We had a huge flood in our house a few weeks ago and our insurance company wouldn't do anything until we had a plumber come to the house. I called several plumbers and no one could come out for days. When I called Generations Plumbing, they could tell that I was desperate and Alex came to our house with 30 minutes of me calling. Can you say fantastic customer service?? Alex came out and we were impressed with his professionalism, kindness, and honestly. I will definitely be calling Generations Plumbing the next time I need a plumber. You will not be disappointed if you choose to use this amazing company.

We came home to water leaking out of our water heater all over our garage. I called a few plumbers and Alex was the only one who offered to come out that same day literally within 2 hours of when I called him. Within 4 hours of getting home and seeing the leak, Alex had our water heater replaced and the old one hauled away. A truly phenomenal guy and his response time was unheard of for a plumber. I have found my new go to plumber and will refer him to anyone and everyone that needs a plumber. He also helped me getting my home warranty to cover some of the cost which he didn't have to do. Alex and his son were able to come pretty quickly after I discovered lots of water under my kitchen sink--(even though they had already put a full day in--they fit me in after 5:00pm). I was worried about the mess and not knowing how big of a project this would be. Got a recommendation and their number from someone who has worked with Alex before. They were both so great and very reasonable for sure. They installed a new garbage disposal and inspected the area for any moisture. Very detailed and efficient. I highly recommend Alex and we will certainly use them again for any plumbing needs.

Our garbage disposal went out and was leaking- over the phone they were quickly able to determine we needed a new one, fit us into their schedule same day and it took them 30 minutes to replace it. They took the time to explain everything to us and were friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Very happy with quality of service, timeliness, attention to detail, professionalism, and friendliness.

Replaced very old outdated busted up rotting and rusted water heater that was way below current codes due to age. Alex brought everything up to code and then some and was clear and concise in explaining the work that was necessary. He even left the space cleaner than what is was when he began the job - very impressed!

I had obtained 6 different price quotes and the price charged for this job was more than fair and competitive.

I will be recommending this company to friends and family for sure, thanks for a job well done!

we were in town moving my wife's grandparents out of their house and getting it ready to sell. one of the things we had to do was put new toilets in after the new floor went in because lets face it nobody like 17 year old toilets in a house that has been completely gone through to put it on the market. i threw my back out and could barely get the toilet out of my truck to the bathroom. being in a hurry because of a deadline of July 1 to get the house on the market, i called these guys and they came out the same day put the toilet together and installed it. the guy that came out was professional and did a good job. if my back hadn't of gone out i would have done it but these guys pulled through for me in a bind.

I had my entire house repipe from galvanize to copper by Alex. My house was built 1962 and has a very narrow crawl space where in some areas has only 14 inches crawl space with crumbled rocks on it. Alex completed repiping the entire house after having some bruises all over his body the following day. This company will go above and beyond their task to make sure they deliver what they promise. Price is very competitive. He has the lowest price out of 3 bids that I received from other Plumbing company. Thank you Alex and Esmeralda for the hard work. Now we have strong water pressure. I cant wait to recommend Generations Plumbing to my friends and family. God bless!

Generations Plumbing is amazing! I highly recommend Alex. He's honest, extremely knowledgeable and reasonsibly priced. Alex and his son Junior re-routed our main line cold water leak, they took it a step further by cleaning up a previous plumber's mishap. Side note: Thanks Junior for catching and freeing the unexpected lizard in our house, you didn't have to, you did it just because. It says a lot and that there are still really nice people there to help when needed. Alex, great job on the plumbing and son.

I messaged several companies regarding my Moen shower not working. Alex got back to me and asked if I was the original owner of house. He asked this because I may be under warranty. That was the only company that asked that. That impressed me!! He did make a appointment for 2 days later. He called because he was running early. He looked at the shower and stated that it was just the knob and it could be fixed easily. He showed how to do it and left without charging a dime. I would highly highly recommend this company. It wasn't all about money. From the first message he was trying to save me money. This is the kind of business man and business that you need to call.

I am writing this review to compliment Generations Plumbing for EXCELLENT SERVICE. I had a main water line leak. I contacted Generations Plumbing that morning. Alex was able to come to my house that afternoon to assess the situation. He came back the following morning to repair the main water line. Needed a new water heater at my home...called Generations Plumbing due to them being based in the Murrieta/Temecula area and Alex quickly got back in touch with me to arrange a suitable appointment time. He was extremely professional and efficiently removed the old one (and hauled it away) and installed the new one. I got a quality water heater installed for far less money than the big box store wanted to charge including an outside company's installation. Alex seems like a pleasant and trustworthy family man and a very proficient plumber. I recommend him highly.

I had a water heater leak and needed a plumber ASAP. I contacted Generations and Alex was able to come out to replace the unit (it was later in the day and he was able to scramble and get a new water heater unit set up that day!). Good work, but very high prices. Waited one day to be served because of good reviews. Was charged $175 to clear kitchen drain, and wanted $215 to install a 3-hole wide faucet. The $215 was because he was a perfectionist, and the job would take hours. I declined and had it done by a licensed plumber for $100. It took one hour total. Ads in mailer offer drain cleaning for about $50.

I had a problem with a bad water regulator - called Generations Plumbing and they came out within 4 hours and resolved my problem within one hour. Their rates are reasonable and this is one plumbing company that is not a company that tries to milk their customers for unnecessary repairs. My 10 yr old water heater began leaking, of course, when my handy husband went out of town. I was already beside myself with the kids, dogs, house, work and was now dealing with this leak and a mess of water in the garage! Ugh! I called a guy off Craigslist to come out to take a look and he told me I needed a new water heater right away and left to get me a good price for a new one. But I never heard back from him til the next day after texting/calling him several times. He didn't even advise me to turn off the water to stop the leaking.. Never, ever go to CL for plumbing needs!
Anyways, I searched the Internet in my area and saw that Generations Plumbing got great reviews on Yelp. I called at 630 am the next morning and left a message. Alex called me right away when office hours opened and was at my house within the hour! It was a hectic day with the kids, dogs, and work but he was calm, professional, and thorough. My barking dogs and chatty kids didn't frazzle him at all. He didnt rush and wasn't constantly on his cellphone, like i see with some contractors. He took his time and was thorough. He checked for water damage in all surrounding areas including inside the house, and explained the problem and solutions. Luckily the leak was caught early so no water damage! He gave me a good quote and changed out the water heater that day. He even added a large tray underneath the water heater and connected a drain to it to catch any water in case there were any future leaking issues. It has been a few weeks now and there are no issues at all! My husband came back and was very impressed with the work. I've recommended Alex/Generations Plumbing to my neighbors, family, and friends and will post his info on our community website! He is wonderful to work with, trustworthy, and reliable! A+++++ service! Highly recommend!!!

Alex was punctual with a capital P, right on time and arrived in a very awesome looking work van, he ran tubing from the main sewage line all the way around my house to a bathroom we added to a guest room. He installed all the required parts for my new bathroom, and even performed a test to make sure everything would pass for city inspection. Even the city inspector asked who did our plumbing, because it was a very clean job. I will definitely recommend generations plumbing to anyone who is looking for professional,honest and affordable work.
