I needed a plumber on a Sunday and called about 15 that I found on Yelp. No one could get out same day. Personal Plumbing answered the phone immediately and had someone out there within 2 hours. It was for our vacation rental so it needed to be fixed immediately. The plumber took care of a shower head issue and clogged drains. He was polite and communicated the entire time via video and text while in the unit fixing the issues. Highly recommend and will definitely use again!

We had a leak in our shower during the holidays. Personal Plumbing had a technician come out to our home. We thought tiles would have to be removed but after having the owner come back out to our home, we only needed to replace a part. Cathy. Office Manager kept me posted throughout the whole process. Once the part arrived, which was within a week; she scheduled a technician. It's hard funding trustworthy plumbers. The own takes pride in providing excellent service!  I highly recommend Personal Plumbing!

I'm very disappointed in my experience with this company. The handle on my shower cracked and I wasn't able to turn the hot water side on anymore. I informed my landlord and he called personal plumbing as he'd used them before. The only positive was that they were able to come the same day and put in the replacement handle I had just  bought from Home Depot. It probably took the plumber no more than 30 minutes to fix. He mentioned some other work that might be needed, and I told him I'd let the landlord know. Later I find out they were charging the landlord $400 for the service, which was insane since I had provided the parts. I'm am beyond appalled how a company could charge that much for something as simple as changing out 1 shower handle. The next day the company decided to reach out asking if I was going to be home to finish the job....now I let them know that only issue we had was the handle which had been fixed...and then I let them know that the plumber had mentioned something else, but wasn't needing that at this time. Now, my landlord is an older gentleman and gets confused sometimes so, for a company to try to take advantage of him like this is completely unacceptable. If this is the type of business you're running, where you try to take advantage of people I will gladly take my business elsewhere!!

Eric was the right pro to send to us to get the job done. From introducing himself at the door to checking out the drain issues we had to expediting the task at hand to completion, he was personable, kind,respectable,courteous, and had a great sense of humor. Although the job was fairly a basic one, our drain pipes from the washer and kitchen sink end up connecting in one same route upon exit to sewer line he was able to clear up the debris in minutes. A pinhole leak inside a wall - corroded copper pipe plumbing from the 1960s - left me with a demolished bathroom and torn out kitchen cabinets. To prevent future catastrophes, I decided to replumb my house and detached garage. I called Bob Muller at Personal Plumbing, based on exceptional work they've done for me in the past. The six guys worked as an efficient and experienced team, determining the best route for the PEX pipe, preparing access through the drywall, running the pipe and then wrapping it with insulation. They carefully protected my furnishings and floors while working, and removed every crumb of debris when they finished. They did an outstanding, professional job. I needed an emergency plumber and found Personal Plumbing on Yelp. Their customer service was top notch, starting with their service coordinator who answered the phone and kindly and professionally got me a fast, same-day appointment. The plumber and his team quickly diagnosed the source of my leak and made great recommendations for water damage experts, which I appreciated. When I called them back out to install new toilets, they did so carefully and transparently, explaining everything they were doing and respecting my home in the process. They were ultra clear on cost of services, and while they made recommendations, I also didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me on things I didn't need. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and great to work with. I feel great knowing I now have a reliable plumbing service!

A few days ago, Corky and Jose came to replace the the original dented front cover of the Navien tankless water heater that was installed a week earlier with a new one.  In addition, they also had to make a few adjdustments to the equipment to ensure its efficient operation. Afterwards, they cleaned up their work area then they let  me know they were all done.

I was impressed with their positive attitude and with their resulting exceptional quality of work  Our water heater is working as efficiently as promised.

I found Personal Plumbing online because of their great reviews and found out first hand they are well deserved.  From my first encounter with Tim, they were different than other companies I have worked with.  They were honest, prompt, thorough, and very reasonably priced.  Most important, they did a great job explaining and performing the remediation to a complex slab leak project.  As a real estate investor it is important to work with companies you trust.  Personal Plumbing is now on my list of companies I trust and recommend.

I have used Personal Plumbing three times now, two for emergency drain cleaning, and sewer line repair. Bob's team was great each time and they were at our house in a short amount of time. One of our sewer backups actually happened when we were on vacation in Idaho and we were able to handle the whole thing over the phone.

After sending the camera down the line on the second visit two years later, we found out the actual main cast iron clean out was deteriorating and paper products were catching up on it. Alias and his partner came back out and replaced the clean out with a new ABS double sweep, jetted the main line, and then sent the camera back down to check everything out. Everything looked great, and the repair should keep the problem from happening again. Thanks Bob and your team.

Everyone that we've worked with at Personal Plumbing has been prompt, professional, thoughtful, and great at their jobs. The schedulers were very helpful on the phone. When there was a staffing shortage on the day of our appointment, we received a text message at the start of the business day letting us know of the slight delay for our appointment.  We really appreciated this level of courtesy and professionalism.

The plumber arrived exactly on time and did an excellent job installing our new bathroom sink and angle stops. He was outstanding at communicating with us and problem solving the difficult plumbing structure at our condo complex.

We called Personal Plumbing because our downstairs neighbor has used them twice, and each time they turned off our building's water exactly at the times written on the posted notice. This company is reliable! We will definitely be calling them for our future plumbing needs as well.

The drain in my bathtub was backing up.  Ed from Personal Plumbing came out and cleaned out the drain.  He was very efficient and helpful.  The charge was $199 plus a 10% tip.
My initial contact was with Kathy in the office to schedule the appointment.  She was able to send Ed out in a day or two, which was good news, since I had tried two other plumbing companies and was unable to schedule an appointment within a reasonable time with them.  Kathy gave me a 2-hour window in the morning for Ed's arrival.  She notified me early that day that he was running late and asked if we could move the window to the afternoon.  That was fine with me.  Ed was actually able to arrive a little early.  He worked very efficiently and got the job done.  He also gave me some good tips about keeping the drain clean.  I appreciated his help, and found it easy and pleasant to work with Personal Plumbing.

$341 dollars to clear drain in bathroom sink. Took less than 10 minutes of work. No parts. Just labor. That equates to over $2000 an hour. It took more time to sign contracts to lock in the pricing prior to the work than it did to do the work. Tried calling Bob while plumber was still here to see if he would negotiate a fair price, but he was busy and never called me back. Was hoping to find a fair and honest local plumber for ongoing plumbing needs, but unfortunately this company is not the answer.

Our go to plumber after multiple service calls. This time around they were able to fit me in with very short notice and support my kitchen remodel needs. I have to say, the level of experience has been exceptional and their demeaner and courtesy is always at the forefront. The results show, as a result of good solid performance. They will be back shortly to round out my remodel project and its nice to know that I can count on them without a doubt in the midst of all the other various issues that arise during a remodeling project. Highly recommended.

The service technician was advised that I felt the fees had not been clearly explained and I asked him to please let office know.  I signed and paid because I did not want to hold him up for what I felt should be discussed with office.  After not hearing from the office I left my comments and was then contacted.  My understanding was there was a $95 minimum to be applied if work was done.  Work done was about 15 minutes so I feel I was mislead and severely overcharged for services.

AMAZING SERVICE! They were highly recommended by my own plumbing company  that has been booked out on larger A/C / furnace jobs. So to have a plumbing company recommend them was amazing. They were responsive and listened to my needs. Plumber was neat, used drop cloths, explained everything he was doing, wore shoe booties, parked neatly in street, didn't ask to borrow anything or use any of our stuff, cleaned up after himself, and taught me how best to use the new faucets and filters. There is not one thing he could have done better!
I am a happy customer! Very happy.

Wendy handling the calls was sympathetic and helped walk through the process.  Bob has a very professional staff working for him. Glad we found Personal Plumbing. Thank You Bob.

Recently had a leaky faucet and did not have time to call around for estimates.  Figured this is a local company and needed to find a good plumber.  We did not find a good company and will never use them again.   For minutes of work and a part under $20 we were over charged.  When I called the owner the next day to question this charge and give him the opportunity to make it right his only defensive response was you do not know my expenses, you do not run my company, you agreed to the cost, you can call any plumber and it will be the same cost.  When it was clear he would not make it right, I stated that I would be sharing my story on Yelp.  He said I do not care, I have hundreds of 5 star reviews and you can call around that is a fair price.  Well,  I did call around and you grossly over charged.  I can see now from reading other poor reviews the owner will respond to this poor review with the same cavalier response he gave me on the phone.  So, move on to the next company, lots of plumbers in town!

Long story short, I had a sewage back up in my shower, I called Personal Plumbing because I had used them before and trusted that I would get good service at a fair price.  After charging me $500 to clear the drain, they told me I had a tree root problem.  They gave me an estimate (I was naive in thinking that this small locally owned company was offering me, a repeat customer, a fair price)   The estimate was for $1650, I called Bob and talked to him personally about reducing the price considering I was a repeat customer, his exact words were, if I give you a discount on the service, then I would loose money if I have to do any warrenty work.   He couldnt tell me how long of a warrenty they could offer me on my pipes after they clear the line until they are able to look at the pipes after the roots are cleared.  I agreed to the work and they came out to start, 1/2 way through, I approach the plumber and asked him what kind of warrently am I looking at based on my pipes, he said, we NEVER issue a warrently of tree root work, company policy  So I tell him about my conversation with bob, he calls bob.  Bob offers me two options: clean up and leave and I don't pay anthing or continue with the work, pay full price and he would give me a 1 week warrenty.  His plumber strongly advised that I continue with the work considering another back up could happen anytime and if it were his house, he would continue.   So I did.  Their equipement (the knocker) could only reach 60 feet from my clean out, the camera went further and ran into a root intrusion at 71 feet.  Their equipment couldn't reach it.  They suggested that I install a double sweep clean out at the cost of $3500 in order to clean the roots.  After paying Personal Plumbing $2210, I was still left with roots in my pipes that they couldn't reach.  Based on their assessment, the tree that was causing the intrusion at 71 ft was owned by the city, I called the city and told them the whole stroy.  They suggested that, instead of installing a cleanout, hire a plumber that had a longer knocker.  I was again, naive and didn't know that that existed.  So i called Bill Howe.  Bill Howe came out, ran their knocker 111 feet at the total cost of $223.  ($154 for the first 100 feet and $69 for each 25 feet after).   I paid personal plumbing 7.6  ($2210) times what I paid Bill Howe to do, and they did an additional 51 feet.  (leaving NO tree roots in my pipes)  Bill Howes plumber also ran his camera the full 111 feet to make sure that the pipe was cleared and didn't charge me a dime for that.  Just wanted to show me that they did what they were hired for.    I emailed Bob and explained everything, suddenly, the very responsive bob is now silent.  No response to my email.  I'm asking him to explain why the inflated charges or what special service did his company give me that justifies such an increase in cost for the same services from another company, especially considering Personal Plumbing left me with tree roots still invading my pipes because they lacked long enough equipment to reach it.   I'm asking for a reimbursement for some of the money I paid his company based on the very contradictory warrenty' information, the inability to complete the job and the inflated costs.   Not such a short story!   Good luck with any plumbng issue you're having (if your reading this you must be looking for a plumber, do your due diligence by getting a couple estimates.  tw  (Bill Howe's estimate for a double sweep clean out was also $1000 less than PP)

We have been using Bob and his crew for years for a variety of plumbing issues that have come up at our home and I have been incredibly happy with each service appointment.  I highly recommend Personal Plumbing!

Since I started using Personal Plumbing, I've never needed to look for another company, and never will! Since my last review I used Personal Plumbing for several jobs. Emergency leak in a rental garage, pressure regulator replacement and adjustment,  replacing copper pipes/fixtures to avoid future leaks (old house) in several bathrooms. Bob is a respectable business man and cares most about quality work and happy customers.

Thanks Bob, Wendy and Cathy for completing the water filtration system installation at both my house and that of my fathers in Encinitas. Our systems were both very old and with most things came to the end of their useful life and were replaced with a Halo water system that I understand is manufactured in Carlsbad. This company is so good that I felt obligated to write this Yelp review before they even completed their work.

Bob was able to give me an estimate when I was still at work so I didn't have to drive home and back.

Their bid came back so much lower than the other two I got that I was a little skeptical that I might be getting quoted for inadequate hardware. But Bob stood by his quote and ensured me that if I was not happy with the performance, his company gave a 1 year satisfaction guarantee on top of the 15 year warranty on the Navien.

The more I looked into the specs of the unit these guys were recommending the more I could tell that Personal Plumbing were giving me a very fair price, for exactly what I needed (plus an inline ion filter that the other companies weren't offering), whereas the other two were deliberately overselling me, and one even insisted that I replace the pressure regulator and overflow tanks for another $2,000, which Personal Plumbing told me were not necessary.

I am now writing this as John and Tim are in my garage, carefully and expertly replacing my cracked 15 year old standard water heater with a state of the art Navien tankless. The fact that they even put oil catch mats underneath their vehicles in the driveway shows how much they go above and beyond what is expected. And Tim even came inside and fixed two stuck faucets for free!

If 5-stars on Yelp signifies as good as it gets, then Personal Plumbing is the epitome of 5-stars.

So last night my tenant called regarding the toilet in my rental property. It apparently overflowed and was just running aka plumbing issue. So I started looking around for a plumbing company
first thing this morning. Mind you, I'm out of state and no where near my property. Long story short, after reading reviews on different companies on Yelp and google and calling to get someone today I came across Personal plumbing Inc. Wendy is very pleasant to talk to and was very helpful. She got me someone right away and explained to me the fees and how the service work. An hr later Oscar Frigo showed up at my property. He fixed what was wrong with the toilet and explained everything to me. So here's where I'm very impressed and happy with the overall outcome. Not only he was prompt showing up but he is a very good communicator and honest. Not once did he made me feel that he was taking advantage of me on the price and work that needs to be done. He explained everything in black and white and sent me pics of the before and after which I've never experienced before with other companies for whatever job that was done. Oscar definitely went above and beyond what I expected and I'm very thankful and appreciative to him and the company. It is so hard to find people like him now a days and a  good company that is not just after the SALES but actually value customers. Needless to say, I'll be doing business with personal plumbing inc from here on and will be referring them to people I know. They are very reliable and have good people working for them. I highly recommend Personal plumbing. I have used them the last two days twice. They have a wonderful office staff who communicate beautifully with you. Their plumbers are great. Elias came today to help me reinstall one of my toilets. He was very efficient and nice. As well as knowledgeable. Kathy in the office who answers the phones is very personable and keeps in touch with you throughout the process. Great service.

Tim came out less than two hours after I called. He quickly diagnosed a leak on one of the lines above the water heater.
He replaced both and also found my regulator to be a problem.  Too much water pressure.  Replaced it.
Good service and great follow up to insure everything was done correctly.

Bob upgrade my water tank to a tankless and it went well, also replaced all the angle stops and water supply lines for a super reasonable rate. His company has high standards and a good crew. I would recommend him to all   my friends needing plumbing service.

We had a plumbing problem that created a big mess for our tenant. Drain stoppage and water over flow. Called a plumber (won't say who) and they came out and started adding up the pricing - quoted us over $6,000 and offered financing plan. Never fixed a thing. We decided to get a second opinion and called Personal Plumbing.

Personal Plumbing sent Ryan out and he fixed the problem in less than an hour!!! He showed me what was wrong, cleared the line and was super efficient and pleasant to talk with. Wow! An honest and friendly plumbing company!! These guys are amazing. Ryan is fantastic and I will use them for every plumbing job I have in the future.

This is the second time I've had Personal Plumbing out to my house. Ed showed up again, and all I can say is he is a consummate professional. Punctual, knowledgeable, clean, efficient, and best of all HONEST. He pointed out things, other people had done, that he could have easily let slide. But instead he took the extra time and effort to ensure my setup was 100% working perfectly.

There is no reason to go anywhere else. The five star reviews here and on Google are for real. This place is awesome and run by honest professionals who do a fantastic job!

Ed, our service tech, was friendly, easy to talk to, efficient, professional, and knows his way around plumbing. He looked at all of our projects, told me what needed to be done and got to it. It's a pleasure to have a service tech take his time on a job and not race through to get to the next one. Ed allotted enough time to accomplish everything. He worked carefully to auger one of our toilets due to a drain clog without damaging the unit. However, the toilet will have to be removed on a second visit once we purchase a new one because, unfortunately, the clog (whatever it is) won this battle, despite Ed's tenacity. I highly recommend Personal Plumbing, Inc. and Ed in particular. I'd like to say his work is plumb dandy!

They try to dazzle you how professional they are, how on your side they are. Ex military owner. If you fall for it and go with them you soon realize that they are not taking responsibility for their own screw ups. Contrary they try to shift the blame onto the customer. They are also ridiculously overpriced and you are not getting services better than their cheaper peers.

After getting a couple of quotes to unblock a toilet that seemed ridiculous a friend recommended Personal \Plumbing. They were awesome. By far the most professional and friendly of anyone I contacted. The job turned out to be quite difficult due to lack of access and really old plumbing but they went above and beyond to get it all fixed. Since then I've used them to fix a plumbing issue at my business and will only be using them going forward. Highly recommended.

Michael came out and knew what my issue was right away!  He went down the street picked out a faucet I wanted and installed it.  Dog friendly too! I told him I'm interested in a bathroom remodel in the future so they do that as well.

As in the past, Personal Plumbing has exceeded our expectations. When I called the office to inquire about some additional work besides some major plumbing performed last summer, I was greeted like a repeat customer, and the technicians showed up within a couple of hours. As well as the clear, concise estimates of the repair, the plumber Rich came in the following day right on time, and I know the removal and replacement of the fixtures, after damage from hard water, was a hard job. Courteous, professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. I also appreciate the text messages confirming technician is on his way. A job well done, excellent customer service and professionalism , which reflects a great management.

I called on a Thursday , requesting Friday Morning Visit , I was informed as to the time they would arrive . Upon arrival , they were professional , knowledgeable, kind and reasonable.
In our case the part was not on their truck . But as promised they returned Monday as arranged .
Our issues was fixed . Just so happened that I need to be out of town , their billing process was super easy to navigate from another state .
When our past plumber passed away last year, I was terrified that I would never find another honest, easy to deal with plumber . Personal Plumbing was awesome !
I will call on them for all my plumbing needs in the future .

Bob Muller originally installed our water heater, expansion tank and re-plumbed 1/2 my house about 6 years ago. There was an issue with corrosion from a part used at the joint for the expansion tank. Ed was sent out and he fixed it right up and didn't bill me. That is standing by your work and I greatly appreciate the honesty and integrity. I would use this company exclusively just for that!

I don't know about anyone else, but every time I have to call a plumber I get hives.  I recently had an issue with my kitchen sink backing up into my dishwasher and called a local guy.  He stood over my sink, looked at the pipes, peaked into the dishwasher (full of nasty water at the bottom) and without so much as pulling out a tool or flashlight immediately told me it was not a plumbing issue, rather the dishwasher. I don't know anything about plumbing, but that didn't make sense.  He left within 15 minutes and promptly sent me a $75 home visit/service fee.  I was NOT happy!   I followed his recommendation and called a dishwasher guy who informed me that the dishwasher was in working condition and it was a plumbing issue.    

Ok, now I'm really annoyed.

I managed to throw some Draino down the pipes and it was resolved . . .  temporarily.  

A few months later, the same issue was happening.  I knew Draino wasn't going to fix it.  

My neighbor recommended his plumber and I figured, what do I have to lose?

I honestly can't say enough about Personal Plumbing, Inc.  Where to start?   Bob sent someone out almost immediately, even though it wasn't an urgent issue.  Ed was kind, professional and very detailed.  He tried to snake the drain and when that didn't work, he brought out the longer snake.   When that didn't work he brought out the Mega one.   He was upstairs, downstairs, inside and outside trying to figure out where the issue stemmed from.   Ed was literally working tirelessly for 3 hours with no resolution, but he didn't want to give up.  Ed called Bob, the owner, to see if he could help.  Bob offered to come back the following day with yet more equipment, including a camera to get to the bottom of it.   Bob was early, professional and kind.  He immediately knew the root of the problem and explained each step with great detail.

Bottom line, the piping was improperly installed during construction.  Bob needed to cut open the wall to gain access.  A homeowners nightmare, right?   I trusted Bob and he assured me he had a drywall guy that would make it look as good as new.   Bob made a very small hole, got to the access point and quickly cleared out the clog.  He also determined rather than close off the wall, an access panel would be the best option in the event a plumber needed to access the pipe again.  Perfect!

Bob was in and out in less than an hour!

Not only was I extremely impressed with the professionalism, knowledge and dedication both Ed and Bob displayed Personal Plumbing, Inc. is also reasonably priced.  Bob didn't overcharge or even charge for the hours Ed spent trying to resolve the issues.   Personal Plumbing, Inc. is top notch and I would highly recommend them to anyone with plumbing issues.  Don't call anyone else!  You won't be disappointed.

Bob and his team are real Pros, and did a fantastic job with our conversion from a traditional water heater to a tankless setup. Bob answered questions, showed us the work that would be needed, explained the benefits and operational issues, and scheduled the work at at time convenient for us.

Installation day went smoothly, and the team was fast, professional, and very clean - even covering painted surfaces in our garage to make sure nothing got dusty.

Today was a very stressful day. Our neighbor notified us that there's a leak coming from our water pipe that caused water damage to their property. Long story short Bob found the problem and took care of it, like BALLER. Bob is the most honest and trustworthy plumber I have ever used. I cannot say enough good things about Personal Plumbing they go above and beyond what is expected. This is my second time using them. I will be a life long customer.

They helped us remove a sink, cut granite, and install a new sink, faucet, and disposal. Some plumbers we called would only commit to one part of the job, so we really appreciated that they could handle it all. They did proper preparation, measurements, and we are quite satisfied with the result.

Not a good experience!  The undersink filtration system was not installed correctly and spout completely loose.  When asked to fix it was told they don't fix after install and very defensive although it was only a few days later.  The plumber that arrived smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and did not seem knowledgeable at all.

I had almost all faucets replaced in my house.  They were on time, professional and cleaned up after themselves.  They were very helpful in researching the necessary parts and even brought it with them to complete the job!  I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

Bob has always been our go to plumber. And, this time was no different. When are water hearer needed to be relocated to make drywall repairs, Bob quoted us a fair and reasonable price. His team was on time and got the work completed in an efficient manner. He was able to provide a turkey service and I would highly recommend his services.

We had a leak under our kitchen sink. Called Bob and he had Chris out within an hour. Can't say enough about this company and their dedication to their customers.  They couldn't find the leak however recommended that we replace the faucet that is at least 16 years old. He didn't charge us for the service call. I'm going out this weekend and purchasing a new faucet and will have Bob install it.

Ryan at Friendly Flooring recommended these guys so I called them and I am glad I did. Bobby (from NY) has been working at my house several times the last 2 weeks as we remodel our upstairs guest bath and master bath. In the master we had Bobby move hot& cold copper pipes in the wall to fit behind the double vanity.  He also installed a spa/tub, tub valve/overflow and drain, shower faucet valve and came back and did the trim after the tile guy completed his part.  I would call these guys for any project your contemplating.  Bobby is super polite, cleans up and does great looking work.

We had an emergency issue with our dryer so I called Personal Plumbing. My call was returned promptly and Tim from Personal Plumbing was able to come out the following day! I was happily surprised since it was 2 days before Christmas! Tim arrived early (:)!) in the 2 hour time window and was able to fix the dryer. Best Plumbing company I have ever dealt with.  I have had them out
to my Mobile Home several times.  Each time they found the problem immediately, either had the part or ran to get one.  They are friendly, on time, and even took a moment to play with my two Pomeranian dogs.  Best of all they do not sock it to you with their prices. Each time my bill has been extremely reasonable.  I highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs.

We needed camera work done for an obstruction in our main drain line.  Ryan and his colleague did a very meticulous job identifying the obstructions (tree roots), their location, and repeatedly verifying the exact locations.  The work quality and communications were excellent!

Discovered that the original enameled, cast iron sink in one of the bathrooms was chipped and rusting through, causing a leak. Bob was very quick to respond to my inquiry and immensely helpful throughout. I was kept informed every step of the way and Ryan was right on time.

I've used them several times now and even had them put in a whole house water system.  They do a good job and if something needs to be addressed from a previous repair they are great about coming back out to address that and giving notifications when the appointment is booked and when they are on their way.

Called and scheduled a service call Saturday to repair a copper water line leak(pin hole) found Friday night behind bathroom wall. Ed arrived well in advance of appointment time and conducted himself professionally. Inspected, verified, repaired and re-tested in short order. The leak was small but becoming very serious and sheetrock damage was minimal.  The invoice was very reasonable. I would gladly recommend Personal Plumbing, and I would use their services again.

One of the best experiences I've had with a plumbing company. I live in Fallbrook and our local plumbers are so busy, sometimes my calls and/or messages go unanswered.  Bob is kind, patient, and responsive and willing to travel to Fallbrook. The two technicians he sent were friendly and professional. Found and repaired pinhole leak and the bill was extremely reasonable. Will definitely use them again!

Our garbage disposer stopped working and the flushing mechanisms on three toilets were ready for new replacements, and the base of one toilet seemed to be leaking.  Fortunately, we had a referral for Personal Plumbing, Inc. and the owner sent a very competent and very personable plumber, within a matter of hours after my call for help.  Their prices were more than fair.  Also, their plumber discovered that the bolts securing the kitchen sink in place, were very loose and the sink was in danger of dropping completely out.  So he tightened them with an appropriate tool, and needless to say, this was the potential for a very expensive accident.  I have used many plumbing firms over the years and I give this company my very highest praise and definitely recommend them as your go to Plumbing Company.

Worked with this plumbing company on a couple of jobs so far, and I have to say they are honest and they know what they're doing. I hired Bob Muller (Personal Plumping) to install 2 toilets in my rental property in Escondido in August 2018. I could not be more satisfied with this experience. Bob is very knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to work with, and that is an understatement.
From the start of the project he spent quite a bit of time of time on the phone to answer all my questions and giving options for what to do with those old toilets...
The fellow he sent (Michael) was simply awesome, on time and did everything correctly (I did my own research, and I happen to have replaced toilets not too long ago at my house in San Diego).
A glitch happened during installation, and one of the toilets did not fit in the space (that was my fault)!  Michael fortunately recognized this immediately and saved us a ton of headache. I had to replace this toilet with one that works a couple of weeks later and there were no issues with Bob or Mike. Did Not even charge me extra for this delay, or repackaging the toilet that did not fit!!!
I would 100% recommend those guys. They definitely know what they're doing, their work is high quality and their quotes are pretty competitive. They are my go to plumbers in North County. I also do like the fact they email you an electronic invoice for better record keeping.

They were really great.    I called them with a minor issue that took about 10- 15 minutes to resolve.   Tyler really listened to the nature of the issue and gave me a reasonable quote.  I shopped around (just in case) and couldn't believe other plumbers gave me a quote for 1.5  to OVER 2 times as much.  Who would pay $250 to $300 for a 15 minute job??   This company is trustworthy and wasn't  out to gauge me.  Oscar was in and out of my house in 15 minutes, easily fixed the issue,  and was respectful of all COVID precautions.  Thanks Personal Plumbing.

Bob's service and response was invaluable.  Our upstairs bathtub had sprung a bad leak and water was literally showering down into our kitchen counter and breakfast nook!  Apparently the builders did a poor job connecting the bathtub drain and when our houseguest took a shower above us we experienced the consequences!  Upon shutting off the main water valve to our house I called Bob immediately and within 2 hours they arrived to survey the issue.  As mentioned it was merely a poorly attached tub drainpipe - but since we had never used the Jack/Jill bathroom before, there was never an issue till yesterday.  Anyways, within an hour the problem was diagnosed, repaired and tested, and only a small 6 x 12 hole had to be cut in our ceiling below the drainpipe to determine the cause of the leak.  Fortunately we didn't require any remediation as the leak only happened for less than 15 minutes, so we were lucky!  Bob's team handled this job PROMPTLY and PROFESSIONALLY and very REASONABLY!  I can highly recommend Bob's Personal Plumbing to anyone who has any sort of plumbing issue - we used them in our previous home in Encinitas, and now as well in San Juan Capistrano.  You won't be sorry you did!!

I'm not new to home renovations or repairs but have not had to replace a toilet yet. There was a smell whenever one of the toilets was flushed. A quick search online suggested that the wax ring might need to be replaced. I reached out to 8 plumbing companies and 7 of them were happy to sell me the service (some prices were doubled the other's bids). Muller Plumbing Services was the only one that actually read my message with the full description of my issue. From what I had disclosed, Robert was able to tell me that my problem was most likely not the wax ring and he does sell services/products that are not needed nor would it fix the problem. I did a little more research and it turned out that Robert was correct and I ended up saving hundreds of dollar and hours of headaches. I'll definitely give Robert a call should I need his service in the future.

I have used Personal Plumbing twice to date.   Both times I received the same quality attention and service.   They were responsive and when compared to other plumbing companies on bids, were less expensive while providing the same quality products.  Recently had two toilets replaced with water saving toilets.  They scheduled an installation the next day, but when an opportunity became available, they called and said they could install the same day.  They sent two technicians.  They were prepared, quick, and the work, as the time before, was exceptional, from installation to caulking, removal of old toilets, and sensitive to pandemic needs for protecting clients (although they had been vaccinated).   In addition, the two technicians were just very fine and pleasant people to work with.  Will I call Personal Plumbing in the future, of course I will!  Although there are many fine plumbers available, Personal Plumbing as proven to rank at the top both in quality and timeliness of service and concern for their clients' needs.

We are new homeowners & had our floors redone in the whole house, which left us with toilets that needed to be reinstalled. Bob Muller, the owner of Personal Plumbing, was referred to us by our flooring guy Jason, the owner of Today's Friendly Flooring. Bob answered his phone immediately, was very professional, offered us a great deal, and was able to make our preferred appointment with less than a days notice! We were happily met  by our personal plumber, Ryan, the following day right on time with a smile and a can-do attitude, despite the difficulty of finding our place. He walked us through the whole process of the installations, even found and removed a large piece of debris in the main pipe of the second bedroom toilet that would have caused some major clogging issues down the line. Yikes! Ryan to the rescue! He was very knowledgeable, pleasant to talk to, and we felt very comfortable with him. We also appreciated his attention to detail, his friendliness, and his professionalism. He even helped us with an extremely low flow kitchen sink faucet, and recaulking of the sink edge with no additional cost! Altogether, we were extremely happy with our overall experience with Personal Plumbing and will continue to go to them for our plumbing concerns. We highly recommend!!

The overflow cap in the bathtub was rusted out and broken. Searched everywhere for a kit to repair to no avail. Stopped by a plumbing supply house to see if there was a fix, was told no, had to remove the tub and replace. Went to Angie's list to find a contractor to repair the problem, Bob from Personal Plumbing called and said he could be there that same day. Bob surveyed the job, decided we did not have to R&R tub and could repair from the underneath. Wow, huge savings. Bob gave a fair and reasonable estimate, scheduled the appointment for the NEXT day, the technician showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. Thank you, will call again with other projects.

I needed to replace an older toilet in a rental property & found a great deal on a water efficient one @Home Depot O'side. Problem was, HD's 'soonest' delivery was almost a week later. Also, there 'installation service' reviews were less than stellar. I called my well connected handyman who recommended Bob @Personal Plumbing. @1030am he answered my call, quickly understood the logistics of my job request & scheduled his tech to pickup, delivery & install all in the same day! I chose this company because they had excellent reviews and I'm glad I did.  I needed a new water heater and some other water connections replaced and they did everything quickly and reasonably priced. Buyer Beware!! Called Wendy who got Tim out (to my rental) to give me an estimate on my fairly new (2 years old) water heater that was making a loud noise. He called and said the sticker on the tank was from All About Plumbing and that the water heater was under warranty; all I needed to do was pay him $765 to replace it. When I asked him what the money was for if it was under warranty, he said that only covered the tank. I called All About Plumbing and they told me the warranty covered everything. I called Wendy to pay her the $89 diagnostic fee and told her that I didn't get the best advice from Tim and I would have been out $765. Her excuse? Well, YOU called US. Right. I should have remembered which company installed the heater but I couldn't. I told her I know you need to make money but it shouldn't be at the expense of your customers; I'm going to pay you the diagnostic fee and feel that I should have received better advice. She told me that was very rude and not to call them ever again. I was honest, not rude. Now here's the kicker. All About Plumbing came out, flushed the sentiment out of the tank, and it got rid of the noise; I didn't even need a new tank!

If you want a plumbing job done well and at a reasonable rate, you will be happy with Muller Plumbing Services! Mike arrived close to the promised time and got right to work. It was a tough job digging through the maze of magnolia roots to get to the leaky water main, but he managed to do that and make the necessary repairs in a little over an hour, and managing, somehow, to do that in a very small area that he dug out near the meter box! Mike was friendly and professional. When finished, he explained the final cost, which was slightly less than the original, and very reasonable, estimate. Thanks for doing a great job, Mike! Needed to replace a water pressure regulator that had stopped working. Robert responded quickly to my request for a quote, proved a competitive price and was able to come out relatively quickly for a non-urgent call.  Job was done professionally and he helped me to adjust the pressure and cleaned up after himself.  Very satisfied with the quality of the work and the price.
