Bob just knows what he's doing. So you will know the job will be done right and much cheaper than the other guys out there with the ads. He is fast and very helpful, not to mention a great personality as well. I have used his services many times.

Once again Bob came to my rescue. My tankless water heater stopped working early in the morning. I reached out to Him and he quickly helped me troubleshoot the possible issues. When I couldn't follow directions (sigh) Bob arranged his schedule so he could make the trek to my home. After a quick assessment he was able to fix the problem. I also tasked him with a broken  drain and he didn't hesitate to fix it. He was in and out in less than an hour. We had several plumbing issues that we needed addressed for our home and Bob of Neighborhood Plumbing did a great job for us! Bob and his crew worked with us and formulated a plan and problem solved so that they took care of the issues and provided solutions for the upgrades and maintenance of our plumbing; They efficiently and effectively installed some toilets, bathroom faucets and sinks, tankless water heater, shut-off valve, and located our water pipes. We did have some initial issues with hot water flowing from the tankless after the first day; Bob immediately responded the next day and problem-solved the issue step-by-step; very impressive indeed! I will be using Neighborhood Plumbing for our future plumbing needs and highly recommend Neighborhood Plumbing.

I cannot say enough great things about Bob. He was referred by a friend after we had a leak under the kitchen sink. We knew it was due to a new water system recently installed, and he came and made a good thing even better- and on a Saturday of a holiday weekend! He removed the old system with ease and fine tuned the new. So grateful for his expertise and responsiveness. Will definitely call Bob again.

Bob came over to give me a free estimate for a tankless water heater. He was a referral from a friend of mine who was super happy with his work. Bob was on time, stellar communication, friendly, great personality, honest, and not pushy at all. Best of all, he gave me a great deal. I had quotes from other plumbers for more than two times the amount! I also asked him to take a peak at my garbage disposal. While inside, my 15 year old chihuahua came out to investigate. He has a very good radar and can tell if someone is a good person or not. Nacho sniffed his leg and even let Bob pet him! What?!?!?! Nacho usually barks at strangers, but not a peep outta him! Lucky to have Bob come come and save the night. Prior to his arrival another plumbing company was called by the property management They were dirt cheap but spent three hours trying to address a clogged drain and were unable resolve. Can't say enough good things about Bob. I have used Bob many times over the past twenty years and he never disappoints. Bob saved the night so the tenants wouldn't be without a bathroom.  I love his old school values, honesty, hard work, and no pressure. He explains the situations and possibilities clearly and let's you decide the course of action. The best part is he does what ever it takes to get the job done. Something the prior company either wasn't willing, or able to do.

Bob has been my plumber for the last 10 years and he is AMAZING! Very knowledgeable and very professional. He has worked on my plumbing at both my home and small business. He is very reliable and gives excellent advice. I would highly recommend him. He isn't the cheapest around but it's worth every penny when you know he won't be coming back to repair the same issue. He has worked on major repairs at my home such as my main sewer line and small repairs like a new faucet. I've had him install toilets and cleared lines. I will definitely be using Bob for any future repairs and would feel confident recommending him to anyone. Bob's the BOMB!

I have used professional services in different instances in my life, and in all these years One of the best has been with Bob at Neighborhood Plumbing. He really cares and shows great empathy with the clients. He help me with a water leak in the bathroom and changing a few pipes and a regulator. He charged super fair and was very considerate. We had an OUTSTANDING experience with Bob and will call him for all of our plumbing needs In the future. We have a home warranty, who we called in the beginning, but they sent us an incompetent contractor who was completely useless. That guy told us that we had loose pipes In Our walls and would need to cut through the walls to find them. We knew he didn't know what he was talking about and proceeded to call Bob. Fortunately, Bob came within hours, quickly diagnosed it as a water pressure regulator and fixed it. Excellent customer service and satisfaction!!

Fabulous experience using Bob at Neighborhood Plumbing. I called him this morning and he returned the call quickly and said he would stop by and look at the issue. I needed a working above ground water shut-off valve and a working regulator. Bob stopped by on his way home and gave me a very reasonable bid, needless to say I jumped on it and Bob went to work immediately. He and his son work together and they did an outstanding job removing the old valve and regulator and installing the new ones. Life is so much easier when you know great people who take pride in their work and are actually helping others, If you need a great plumber don't hesitate to give Bob a call at Neighborhood Plumbing I know I will be!

Trust is a priceless commodity when you work with trade guys. In this, and all respects, Bob shines. I have called him out for some sluggish problems on my 1896 home and a major stoppage in the past, and you know that comes with the possibility of serious issues.  It has never phased him to work at this old house. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and the price is always right. I appreciate his promptness in responding, and his ability to explain the problem and the solution. He is a gem! Bob is great.  He's courteous, reliable, honest, and fast.  He's not as cheap as the other plumbers in town, but you get what you pay for.

Bob came to my rescue when a faulty kitchen tap caused me to have no water in my sink (not fun washing dishes in my bathtub)! He stopped by later that day after he finished a scheduled job, quickly diagnosed the issue and recommended a new faucet to purchase. He even called his wholesalers to see if he could get me a better deal than what I found online. When it arrived I contacted him and he arrived early (always appreciated) to do the work. Of course it wasn't as straightforward as we would have hoped but we had fun talking while he worked. Bob is thoroughly experienced, completely trustworthy and I will have him back to check out my tankless water heater soon! You get what you pay for with tradesmen and while you may find someone cheaper, you won't find anyone better. Reasonably priced in my opinion. Quality work, reliable and dependable. Can't recommend Bob enough!

Got referred to Bob through a friend at work. My Tankless water heater was on the way out.  He recommended a Similar Noritz model to the one that was on the fritz along with the price of the hardware. From what I can tell he was giving me HIS price without any markup and just going to charge me the labor for the install, relatively unheard of in most any industry. He arranged to come by the next day (Saturday) and showed up on time with his son to do the job. They knocked it out in a few hours, on time and on budget and said he'd guarantee his work indefinitely. I can't recommend Bob enough. My go to guy from now on for sure.

Bob the owner of Neighborhood Plumbing has been exceptional in every way. I first contacted Bob based on Yelp reviews after disappointing experiences w plumbers in the South Bay. At that time every plumber I contacted wanted to replace all the sewer lines. Bob evaluated the sewer system via camera and suggested replacing a segment of line where the constriction was with a clean-out that would suffice for some time. It did for years.  We just recently replaced another section of pipe near the main with another clean-out and that has bought me years of being able to use the existing sewer lines from the 1950's. When I have had back-ups from time to time Bob has been there that same or next day at really reasonable prices. And I did all of this while living 2-3K miles away. I have never met Bob in person but look forward to doing so. Bob's brother does excellent concrete work as well as concrete has been involved twice. Neighborhood Plumbing has my strongest recommendation. You will be impressed.  Val Imperial Beach homeowner.

As a new homeowner I didn't know what to expect out of a plumber except I figured they usually show up late, do a crappy job and charge too much. Bob was the total opposite! We called at 9am, he left at 3, charged affordable prices and even made two separate trips to the store for more supplies. Efficient, accommodating and courteous (took our toothbrush holder out of the bathroom before drilling through our tile - smart move). Bob has now become our official plumber, though I really do hope we don't have to call too often, as much as we like him. :)

Bob is the absolute best Person & Plumber! He spent so much time on my issue and man was it a doozy! I had SDG&E out three times, ultimately diagnosing everything wrong. Their conclusion was that I needed to repipe the entire house as my pipes were too small for my tiny home even though I have been living here with no problem for 16 years. I had a heating and air guy out as well that could not figure out the problem since my issue was involving my tankless heater, lack of hot water and involved my central heating system.... Bob spent so many hours on the phone, contacting the tankless heater company, contacting all of his friends in the industry, contacting our Hi-Velocity heater company & more. He must have made at least 20 phone calls (spending hours on the phone trouble shooting) on my behalf trying to diagnose our problem. HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYONE MY EXPECTATIONS and I am so grateful to him and his son for that. He is the absolute best!!!

Awesome job! I called Bob, from Neighborhood Plumming, for a backed up kitchen sink problem we were having. Bob came out quickly and worked very efficiently. He was very professional and very friendly. The work was reasonably priced and we are happy with the results. He has an excellent work ethic and is very experienced. That's hard to find these days, so we are definitely going to continue using Bob as our plumber.

the pipe under my kitchen sink decided to let loose at 3pm on a friday. our main water shut off was frozen so i called one of the larger plumbing companies (one of the ones with all the vans around town) for help thinking they have a large team and could come in a hurry. they said they'd come within a couple hours and quoted me over time rates ($235 /hr, min 1 hr). I then called a local plumber who we've used in the past  (tomo-- he's a gem also). he was out of range but called on bob of neighborhood plumbing to come and help me.  

bob got here within 15 min, had the problem fixed in 10 min and charge me $90. super nice guy, professional- explained what went wrong and gave some useful advice. highly recommended.

Our tub started backing up and water started leaking like crazy out of the toilet last night. My husband called around last night to find a plumber and the only person to answer their phone was Bob Beyerle.  He said he could be here this AM.  He called me this AM to make sure he was still needed and then headed over when I said yes.

Our house is old, 1950's, and no clean out was put in our yard.  He had to climb up on our hot roof to clean out the clogged pipe.  He did mention that we may want to put a clean out in our yard at some point and explained why.  He never pushed the issue, just mentioned it. I think we will end up doing that soon and Bob will be the guy we call!

Very nice guy, very reasonable rates, and got the job done quickly.  We will definitely be using him again when needed.  Just an FYI, he doesn't accept credit cards at this time.  Cash, checks, money order (?), and Pay Pay (with a $3 additional charge), are accepted.  Luckily my daughter had enough cash for me to borrow since I don't have checks from my new account yet and I never carry cash.  It was no big deal at all.  He was willing to work with me.

I asked him before he left if he knew any electricians, and he said he did.  He called his electrician friend to make sure it was okay to give me his number, and now I have an electrician to call with some electrical needs that I have.

Bob is the best! Great quality work, honest, professional and trustworthy. He is very knowledgeable. From small to extremely large jobs, he can do it all. A sage in his profession. He also has a great attitude and cares about his customers. He is a people person and completely reliable and has built a great reputation for himself based on his character, work ethic and knowledge. I have seen him do huge pojects of complete plumbing overhauls for the businesses I worked for and he has done plumbing for me in my home. Look no further.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for a job well done. I called and left a message in the morning, and he called me back about an hour and a half later, when he was available to do so. I wasn't home so he met me at the house 45minuets later(perfect)
Drained and removed a beautiful hair ball from the pipes and now my shower is working again! Yes!!! Bob was very competent and courteous and only cost me $90bucks.

Sunday repair in an hour @ half the price of competitors!!  Husband got half way through laundry room sink repair, then decided he needed help.  After cold calling three plumbers all quoted $350, which seemed like a rip off even for a Sunday, we found Bob(Neighborhood Plumbing) on Yelp.  He understood the repair, quoted $150, and was at our doorstep in 30 minutes. We're back in business and will be calling him back for future work in other areas of our home.  Bob Thank You for being a man of integrity!!! You finished this job quickly and at the quoted price...YOU ROCK!!!!

These people ain't kidding!  Bob is really really amazing!  I got his number from my friend Marco and he's been doing my house in SD for like 7 years.  I always recommend him highly to other people.  The reason being Bob is reliable, fast, honest, super easy to work with, totally experienced (I know he even sets up the plumbing in new apartment buildings and such) and his rates are awesome!  

Also, Bob can hook you up with some other contractors for other projects around your house cause he knows all these really reliable people who are honest and really good at what they do.  We're talking small businesses with small overhead and reasonable rates - the guys the pro's call.  You think apartment building installations hire Rotorouter for over a hundred bucks an hour?  I don't think so!  Bob's basically awesome and does actually a better job than the guy from some big company my mom made me hire for like $350 just to come out for a little over an hour.  

Neighborhood Plumbing, owned by Bob Byerly (sp?) is not the same as Bob The Pumber, by the way so make sure you got the right dude.

Plumbing is a kinda intimate thing, if you really think about it.  In really really bad plumbing emergencies, I wouldn't feel comfortable with anybody else.

I contacted Bob. Lucky me, he was in my neighborhood when I called and was able to swing by within 30 mins. Like other customers, I found him professional, polite, capable and honest. All for a reasonable fee.  I would recommend his services without hesitation. I am glad I found a plumber I can rely on.

Bob is a wonderful plumber and human being. With years of experience, he provides quality work. He replaced the entire plumbing in my two homes and couldn't have made the experience easier. He also has provided quick services for smaller jobs such as a leaky faucets and blocked toilet. You can trust him with your home. Not only does he provide top quality work, he is a man of his word. This is rare to in today's modern city where corners almost always are cut and where clients seem to be treated as numbers. I would recommended him to anyone for any job big or small.

I had my bathroom remodeled a year ago. After the remodel, the shower water would not cool. The guy who did the remodel couldn't figure out what the problem was and offered a small refund to compensate. I figured it would be something extensive and expensive, so I put off the repair. Well, during our recent heat wave, I couldn't wait any longer. After checking Yelp reviews, I called Bob.
He returned my call the next morning and said he would come out to look at the job for no charge, that afternoon. I agreed. After removing the plate behind the shower handle, Bob determined that the cylinder connecting the hot and cold pipes that controlled the hot/cold water was fried during the remodel and needed to be replaced.
He had the cylinder in his truck and replaced the damaged one. After running the COLD shower water for a couple of minutes, presto, it worked!
My fear of walls needing to be ripped out and incurring hundreds of dollars of repairs quickly faded. Bob cleaned up the small mess he made and even sealed the face plate back up with a silicone sealant.
After about an hour of work and sweat, Bob charged me a little over $100 for a job I expected to be substantially more......wish I'd called him a year ago!
He's now on my speed dial and I highly recommend him.

I called on a Wednesday afternoon and Bob answered. He said he would call on Thursday morning and come over to diagnose the problem.  As promised he called and then came over on Thursday morning.  He was able to quickly detect and fix the plumbing problem.  He was friendly, but professional.  He worked quickly and when he was finished showed me what the problem was and suggested some optional things I might consider for the future (without a sales pitch).  I would highly recommend him and will call him, should I need a plumber in the future.

Bob from Neighborhood Plumbing just left my house.  I had a washer that was overflowing water with every use.  Bob is friendly, courteous, professional, helpful, quick, and has reasonable rates. This is the second time I have called him and I highly recommend him!

Needed to replace a tricky kitchen faucet and based on the good reviews I decided to give Neighborhood Plumbing (Bob) a try.  Right from the first call I knew I had made the right decision.  Bob was very helpful over the phone and he was able to come out right away.  During the installation Bob explained exactly what he was doing and before I knew it he was finished.  He even took a few minutes to look at a running toilet and fixed that as well.  Service was great and the price was very reasonable.  I would definitely recommend Neighborhood Plumbing.

Neighborhood Plumbing had some great review ratings so I decided to try them since I don't know any plumbers. Bob was at my house within 15 minutes after calling. He fixed my problem immediately and ended up saving me a couple thousand in the process, before major damage was inflicted. I gave Bob's contact info to some friends and they've all been happy with his work too. Nice to know I now have a local plumber I can trust and does fine work.
