Nobody else wanted to do the work on a Sunday evening, which was understandable.  Monika answered me very quickly, and had Ahmad here within a half hour.  
 Ahmad was awesome!  He figured out the problem quickly and went right to work.  Within an hour, my stress level went from over the roof to nil.  He was extremely kind, professional and very knowledgeable.  I learned a lot from him.

They arrived on time and exactly when they said they would, with short notice.  I received a quote earlier in the day.  Ahmad showed up and went to work. He was very personable and easy to ask questions.  I was replacing two toilets with water efficient ones - Kohler.  Everything went well and everything works well.  The cost was exactly as quoted. Ahmad even went overboard and hauled away the old toilets!   I will have them come back and replace my kitchen faucet, when I find one I like.

Edy and his team did an amazing job with numerous projects on our property. Would 100% use them again in the future!

Because I've seen other reviews on here, I know that by leaving a negative review I am going to get a response back from them on here that turns this whole situation into E-drains being the victim somehow... BUT I feel like I need to share my experience of how this company tried to scam me to warn any future potential customers and maybe save someone from giving them their business. I don't like to leave bad reviews but sometimes they are necessary to make sure companies get held accountable.

On Nov 10th 2022, I sent out a request through Yelp for estimates for plumbing services and got a response from E-drains. They quoted me $485 for hydrojetting services with a camera inspection and was able to send Edy out to me within the next hour. I was very happy with the price, speed of their response and availability so booked this appointment slot. They also seemed to have good reviews when I glanced at their Yelp page. (Now that I have dug a little deeper I have seen the bad ones and suggest you all read those ones too!)

Edy was at my house for a total of 26 minutes. In those short 26 minutes, he ran his camera down my drain and said he discovered a collapsed pipe. I'll be the first to admit, I know nothing about plumbing, so I took his word for it as he is a hired plumber working for a licensed plumbing company.  He showed me on his monitor and he explained what he was showing me.

He then marked two spots in my driveway with flags and said it was a 15 foot collapsed pipe that needed to be replaced so he would have to tear up my driveway to get to the damaged pipe, replace the pipe then fix the driveway. He quoted me $3200 for the job. Since he was unable to complete the hydro jetting job, he said my total for the day would be 10% of the quoted $3200 total. I explained I wasn't the homeowner and couldn't get ahold of her at the moment and he said it was fine and to just pay that $320 now and I could just call him later. At this point, I should have just asked to pay for the camera services he provided... but I was so overwhelmed by how quickly everything was being thrown at me considering I thought I just had a clogged drain. And my plumbing issue that was going to cost $485 instantly increased to $3200. I gave him a check for the $320 and took my quote to give to the homeowner and he was on his way.

I highly recommend Edy with Edrains for any major service to your existing plumbing.  Edy's main lead Rey and crew managed to successfully trench clean routes for new plumbing to be installed and replace the piping installed back in the 1950's.  They gained my confidence when he shared footage of a large project he completed in Point Loma.  The crew was courteous and maintained cleanliness throughout the duration of the install.  It has been a few months and new plumbing has not caused any issues.  Edy stands by his work and follows up to see if anything is needed.  I'm grateful to have chosen a company who understands and addresses the plumbing issues effectively and made this process as bearable as can be.  Thanks again Edy!  You have my business for life.

Just had Edy come to our apartment and fix a bathroom sink that has always had an issue. He was communicative, great manners, and fixed it in no time! I was told they would be here between 11-1 and be called at 11:10 to say he would be here in 15 min. Great communication and nice not having to wait all day! Thank you Edy for fixing the sink!

We had a main line back up, we discovered at night. They came out within the hour and were able to get us going again. Then came back out the day after and replaced a portion of the line. Efficient and friendly.

Eddie was great to work with. He put his camera down the drains and surveyed my problem areas. Nice equipment with a very clear picture for me to see first hand. He closed out with recommending the fixes that should be done and a bid for the procedure. No hassles or pressure. He was considerate, respectful and did a thorough cleanup after finishing. I will definitely hire him to do the fixes on our problems.

E drains unclogged a main line for me that another plumbing company was not able to unclog with their snake. Clog was about 70ft in and they did it through the roof. Other plumbing company suggested a much most costly repair or digging and replacing cast iron pipe.

First I want to address the poor reviews. None of them had anything to do with work quality. By the way it reads, I think one of them is from a competitor. And The other is about Insurance issues AND we all know how dealing with insurance just plain SUCKS.
My plumbing issues began like this. I had dirty water rising in both the tub and shower. And our toilets started to clog. I contacted 3 other plumbers before E-Drains. It was late in the day and no one was able to come until the following morning. When I contacted E-Drains they said 15 min and WHAM,  in 15 min they arrived. I was greeted by a very pleasant young man named Edy. He quickly diagnosed the problem and started fixing it right away. I recorded a video of his camera traveling from house to street. This house was built in the 70's and it has very old, corroded pipes. and he recommended that we replace the line that leads to the street. While working, I had a very revealing conversation with Edy. While I found out that this 24 year old man OWNED this company. He told me how he and his wife mortgaged everything and opened this business just before COVID began. During the past 3 years they have worked very hard to provide excellent service, and create a reputable name and following in this industry. I applaud their efforts and I Recommend E-Drains whole-heartedly. I wish I could give them 100 stars. He gave me a 1 year guarantee on the old drain pipe cleanout. And also a quote on replacing that pipe, which he will be doing for us very soon. WELL DONE!!!

Eddy was recommended by a good friend who regularly hires E-Drains for his properties... he did not disappoint. Eddy and team (Rey and Angel), did a stellar job. I hired them for routine maintenance (hydro jetting and snaking drains). They went above and beyond by also fixing other small issues, like water pressure. Definitely recommend these guys!

This company is awesome; quick responding, fast-acting, and gets the job done quickly and correctly. Eddie was very professional and explained everything to me in detail. He was in and out in just a few minutes after hydro-jetting our whole house pipes!

This week I had some quotes and inquired about whole house water filtration or soft water systems.  One of the contact was E-Drain from San Diego and to my surprise this company responded quickly, gave me a budgetary quote right over the phone with 3 options within my budget, and carefully explained the equipment offered including features and benefits.  They set an appointment to finalize quote for which they showed up on time, and when I decided what I wanted, they promptly sent an installer out the same day to execute the work.
I looked into this because I'd suffered from dry skin, frizzy hair, and dry scalp. My whole family has noticed a difference in water quality and my skin and hair already feels great.

I highly recommend E-Drain!

E drains was hired to repair a portion of sewer pipe due to a clog. They gave a year warranty. The property owner and me(tenant)were satisfied. Once I took over the business it started getting clogged again. They came out and power jet it. I thought it was good. It clogged again and they came out and showed me the NEW clog 2 foot where they replaced the pipe.he said it would cost a extra 5k to repair that clog. Wait! We paid 6k then i need to pay another 5k? I had a plumber I used before see it. He ran a camera and a cutting device to remove a plastic lid, credit cards, coins, bolts. Looked like from many years of build up. The entire line needs to be replaced. Hire a plumber with experience because e-drains lacks experience and will just take your money.

I submitted a request for service (blocked kitchen drain) and almost immediately received a call from E-drain to schedule an appt the same day. The technician, Ahmed, arrived on time and quickly went to work. It turned out the old drain pipes needed replacement, note: home was built in 1940.  Ahmed and his crew came back the next morning, Christmas Eve, to finish the work. I'm thankful to Ahmed and E-drain for their service!

My husband gave this company an updated shining 5 start review. Unfortunately, it is not worth those 5 stars. Besides the price being completely outrageous, the plumber cut 2 holes in my garage, one in my laundry room and a huge hole in my cabinet. After my husband stated in his review that he was disappointed in the holes left, the plumber called my husband and said the company wanted him to fix the holes. He scheduled for Friday 12/16 at 8am, and he didn't show up until 1030am after my husband had to call him.

First of all, his attempt to repair the holes is laughable at best. He put the drywall back in place, fine. However, he sprayed wall texture over it and left it. He only partially repaired 2 holes and dropped one drywall piece behind the wall. The cabinet hole is not fixable at all, and I will have to replace the entire cabinet. He said he didn't have the supplies to fix the other hole where he dropped the drywall, but he said he would come back Saturday or Monday. Well, here we are on Thursday 12/22 with one hole still open and zero communication.

At this point, we don't even want him to come back because of the crappy job he did on the two other holes. I have resigned to fixing them myself. I'm not a contractor, but have patched drywall holes on my own throughout my life and if I had known that he was going to half ass the job, I would have just repaired them on my own instead of having to fix someone else's crappy work. He also made a gigantic mess in my garage, laundry room and kitchen and didn't clean up after himself. I have never had someone come and repair something in my house, make a mess, and not clean up after themselves. Completely unprofessional. 1 out of 10 do not recommend. However, I would highly recommend Kyle at Sherlock Plumbing. Very fair prices and very professional.

They recently installed a reverse osmosis water filter and it has been a game changer for us. They did an amazing job and we felt like it was definitely affordable. The water is delicious. The worker was extremely kind and was always engaged in his work. Best of all we finally have a filter, no more water gallons lol

I had a fabulous experience with E-Drains and Edy and can't recommend them highly enough!  I had a backed up main drain and utilized the Yelp function to receive multiple quotes at the same time. Edy's company was extremely responsive and the only one who was willing to give me a fixed estimate and also able to make it out the same day.

Edy arrived within the designated window, communicated his ETA, and showed me the issue via his camera system at no additional charge. I paid an exceptionally reasonable rate, especially as compared to other estimates I'd received. They have my business moving forward, period. What a relief to find an honest business owner who does what they said they would do with no up charges or hard sell.

We discovered a problem with one of our main pipes and E-Drains was able to come out within hours to help.  They got the problem fixed and gave us a one year warranty on the job they did. The employee who came out had excellent customer service and couldn't have been more professional or efficient. Thank you so much!!

Be Aware of this Company! They have the worst Customer Service- Front desk lady by the name of Linda is extremely rude. I have Homeowners Warranty of America and they are the ones that sent this company for my plumbing issues, after 3 trips, and 3 No shows- (unprofessional and inconsiderate of others' time) they only fixed half the issue and expect to be paid in Full. I still had to get another plumber to fix my issue. Dealing with this Company has been a nightmare. The technicians made a complete mess in my bathroom due to not knowing how to turn Off water from the main water system. Would not recommend. I have also reported them to the BBB. As this is not the way to do business.

Someone accidentally dumped a cup with my earrings down the drain. Edy came over and saved the day. He was polite and efficient. I was really happy with the outcome and professionalism. I will be using them all my plumbing needs going forward. Thank you Edy!

E-Drains was able to come same day and help us with a clogged kitchen drain that we needed fixed. We were leaving the next day and I needed repaired before our house sitters arrived. They were very helpful at getting us in same day, kept us updated on arrival times and were friendly.  I will definitely call them again next time we have an issue.

Edy they got our plumbing done quickly after a girl flushed down Tampon in our toilet.

We had a stop gap valve replaced, and a water line added to our new refrigerator. The tech was quick after running out to purchase parts, and we had zero issues with any leakage. This service is well worth a call. And we will use them in the future.

This is a mixed review. Ahmad came out to unclog our drain and talked me into Hydrojetting from the roof since if he took the toilet off to snake, he would not guarantee that he could replace the toilet. Aren't you a licensed plumber?! He proceeded with Hydrojetting and upon sending his camera down, he quickly discovered that the pipe was broken. Sounds a lot like Kaylee T's review (read that! Note I was also home without my husband dealing with Ahmad. Sound similar?). He would not continue with the Hydrojetting and told us it would cost $5500 to replace the broken pipe. My husband is a licensed contractor and had his plumber (also a licensed plumber) out to investigate the broken pipe the next day. Turns out there was NO BROKEN PIPE! We called the contracting company (or at least Baird's Drain Service number that I originally called when I was ACTUALLY looking for George Baird's Drain Service- my mistake. I will NEVER make that mistake again. George Baird's Drain Service is superb!) who sent E-Drains to us and argued with the manager (other reviews also say she is rude, I concur!) that there was clog and not a broken pipe. Reluctantly, they sent out Edy from E-Drains the next day to investigate. Edy removed the toilet and found a huge clog where our plumber said it was. Edy did a fantastic job at unclogging the pipe in our granny flat. Turns out the pipe was NOT broken and was clogged with so-called flushable wipes. He unclogged it and everything is draining properly! Thank you Edy for your persistency in unclogging our drain. Note to all: THEY ARE NOT FLUSHABLE WIPES. They lie! =) Overall, Edy did a great job, but reading other posts, there is too much similarity here. Broken pipe and $5K plus in work or try all you can and unclog the drain. Overall, I was out $485 plus the fees for our plumber to dig up the backyard and underneath the house to expose the so-called broken pipe...not to mention the mess. Not sure I trust their motives, but thank you Edy for unclogging the drain.

I've very rarely had to use a Plumming Company over the years of home ownership but in this case we did. As you can imagine and we have all heard the horror stories, you hope you call the right one .
Our experience was excellent when we called E-Drains.  The response was fast, the diagnosis over the phone was straight forward and with professionalism.  Alejandro showed up about 1 hour later , he was honest, fare priced and prompt to fix our clogged bathroom sinks.  No hidden charges, and showed us clear problems before making any changes to original equipment.

In short, I would suggest E-Drains to all my friends, family, and neighbors.  Thank You E-Drains!

I've used E-Drains numerous times over the previous few years. They've always done the job and I haven't had any complaints with their work. Recently, I've had a poor experience and can no longer recommend them to anyone else. I requested service for a shower drain to be cleared on 11/10/22. They were able to fit me in the following day and came to clear the drain. When the plumber arrived, he said the drain was fully cleared already and he didn't need to do anything. Soon after (11/14/22), I was billed for the full amount of the service call ($77). Although $77 is not a large amount, I took issue with the fact that no work was performed and yet I was being billed the full amount. I was assuming I'd pay some type of travel charge, but instead was fully billed. I held off paying the invoice until I could communicate with the company. I was reminded to pay the invoice on 11/21/22 and I asked why I was being billed the full amount when no work was performed. The answer was ...because we went out there and Oceanside as you know is far and gas is not cheap right now. Not a good answer and was not, as far as I was aware, part of any existing policy. On 11/28/22 I was reminded again about the outstanding bill and after sharing (again) my issue I was ignored. Instead of dragging it out any longer, I paid the entire bill that day and decided to move on. I was thanked for making the payment (which was made just 17 days after the initial service date) and I thought that was the end of it. When I had another issue recently I had a co-worker reach out to set up an appointment and she was told E-Drains would not work with me due to a previous billing issue. I reached back out and was completely ignored. I've essentially been blacklisted by this company due to a legitimate concern on their billing and, despite them never addressing my concern, I still paid the full amount a couple of weeks later (well within 30 days). I've now wasted way too much time, including this drawn out review to tell you that while I would anticipate the work done is reasonable, the billing/costs are questionable and the company's business practices are, in my experience, sketchy, untrustworthy, and just plain rude.

We had a total plumbing nightmare. I was about to go into labor with our third son at any moment when a sewage pipe burst in our garage at 8pm, leaving stinky, dirty toilet water all over our garage floor. Our handyman was able to patch the leak for the evening and then referred us to Edy from E-drains. Edy was at our house by 730 am the next morning. Edy worked hard to diagnose the issue and found that all of our sewage drains were clogged and would need to be replaced.
  Our water and toilets were all turned off at this point and it was going to be a big job. Edy said he could come back out in 1 day to do the job. I was panicked as I had a feeling our baby would arrive soon and I didn't want to leave my mother at home with our 3 and 5 yo, with no running water or toilets if I did go into labor. I told him our situation and Edy worked hard with his crew to re-arrange things was able to ge the job started right away.
  His crew worked tirelessly from sun up til sun down. They were able to get  our water and  sewage pipes replaces and  back on in full functioning order by the evening as promised. Our third son was born later that night, so we were so grateful to him for getting things done so quickly. Also noted, this occurred over a holiday weekend and Edy  offered competitive pricing and did not raise prices or charge extra despite the circumstances
 Edy was so kind and just an all around good guy you would want to work with.  He is definitely someone I would want to do business with. A+++ for professionalism. courtesy, honesty, and work ethic. I would highly recommend Edy and E-drains for all of your plumbing needs.

Worst experience ever. I am member of a home warranty company that e drains works for. They got some technical issues on their web portal and technicians canceled our appointment without any prior notice.  The staff who answers calls is really really rude ... she didn't explain at all and just said don't call us and hang off. A technician came to our house and charged us $75 and did not report the case back so we ended up calling Multiple times for couple days to the warranty company because the warranty company does not receive any report from the E-DRAINS technician. Highly unprofessional, unpleasant and rude. I don't understand why the warranty company works with e drains. Please replace the teller first at e drains She will make you lose all customers

Fast response time.  I appreciated the quote over Yelp, (it was a basic kitchen sink clog), but most others wanted a consultation.
  Edy came out and was very nice.   He did the job quickly and no upsells.  Great communication and a call when he was in route.  Kept 2 hour appointment window.  And reasonable price.

After having sewage drains replaced, we did not want to go through the trouble of having pipe issues ever again. Our plumbing pipes were likely over 40-50 years old and we asked E-drains to evaluate . Ahmad came over and did a thorough consultation. He used a camera to show us what we were working with. Our pipes were a ticking time bomb, rusted, with corroded joints and could likely spring a leak at any time.

Ahmad was able to start with the prep work to get the job done  right away. He estimated it would be a 2 day job. He showed up bright and early, and worked all day long under the very small crawlspace of our house. He was kind, pleasant, and very sweet despite being under a crawlspace all day long.

He could see it was hectic in our house with a newborn,  2 small children, and out of town family visitors. He hustled like crazy and was able to get the 2 day job done in 1 day. He was so awesome and I would highly recommend him for any pipe/plumbing needs.

Needed to get a new hose installed front the valve underneath my kitchen sink to my refrigerator due to a leak. Requested a quote and  Ahmad came same day and fixed in a timely manner making it look easy. Now have water back to my sink and have water coming to my fridge and making ice cubes again.

My bathtub and sink were running very slow and starting to back up.   I contacted Edy and he was here in less than 24 hours even though this wasn't an emergency.  He was very polite, friendly, and professional.  The work was completed very quickly and he was very neat.  Now my drains are free and clear for company arriving for the holidays next week.

They were very responsive - sent someone over the same day and took care of the problem without going over their initial quote. Highly recommend !!

I needed two turn valves replaced and my garbage disposal replaced as well.
I looked for quotes on yelp and most plumbing places charge you a 50$ service fee to come out and give an estimate. I had the parts already bought and just needed the labor done . This is the only company that gave me actual estimate in dollars through yelp.
Most others were 350$ or so plus service fee.
They did all the work in 40 minutes and it ran me 225$ . Quick and easy and I would use them again. They did run late from the initial time frame but they called and gave me a heads up so good communication. Overall great service and I would definitely recommend.

Although we knew it was coming when we bought the house, it still wasn't great news to find out that we had to get our entire cast iron main line replaced. However, working with Ahmad at E-Drains made the process as pleasant as possible. He was able to do the whole job incredibly efficiently with minimal impact on our day-to-day life. I'm also very impressed by how wonderfully his team was able to put all of our landscaping back after digging up our front yard--it looks as good as new! Definitely recommend working with Ahmad and the E-Drains team, especially if you have to do a cast iron replacement!

BEWARE!!!!!!We we're scammed by E drains pretending to be George Baird Drains.They are scammers overcharging customers for subpar work.They also are impersonating another business.We have been ripped off twice by these con artists.If you notice Monica owns Drain Help and E Drains.Drain Help is run by a con artist named Ali.Monica's picture has just shown up on E Drains as well as Drain help.The California Secretary of State says E Drains formed on April 1 2021.I will be reporting E Drains and Drain Help to the Better Buisness Bureau.

Had a pipe clogged in our guest bathroom right before the holiday a couple weeks ago and we had family coming into town the next day. We panicked a bit but luckily we were able to request a service visit from E-Drains and they did not disappoint. A technician was at our place within a couple hours and was able to clear the pipes without much trouble at all, and at a much lower price than we were expecting. My wife and I always expect the worse for emergency requests, especially around the holidays, so we were pleasantly surprised that our bill lined up with what E-Drains promotes on its website. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the San Diego area!

Our shower drain was clogged/slow for a few weeks, used draino several times and only would get half a good shower in before it started flooding again. Got in touch with E Drains and right away with a description of the problem they were able to give me a high and low estimate, also responded very quickly. The plumber was out here in the time frame they gave me. He did his job efficiently and professionally, informed me draino isn't the best solution (maybe I trust commercials too much) which I appreciated. After he finished he gave me the lower end of the estimate and let us know if there's anymore problems he'll be back out. I will be using E drains in the future and recommend them to neighbors and friends if needed! Thank you E drains, it was nice showering leaving the water on and not having it come up to my ankles!!

Just had a number of plumbing issues fixed by Ahmad Aljairoudi from E-Drains.  The absolute best service we have ever had from a technician.  Ahmad was super knowledgeable, professional, polite, and quick to make all of the repairs.  I would highly recommend E-Drains and in particular Ahmad to all my friends and family.

This is the third time we use this company for plumbing issues. Like previous times, they did not disappoint.  They send out Ahmad and within 30 minutes of my call he was here and ready to work. He was very professional and told me my options and prices all pretty straight forward. He did not pressure me to choose a more expensive solution. Which as a renter, I totally appreciate. We will definitely continue to call them when ever we need plumbing services!!

The responded quickly to my request for a quote for a simple job with an exact range which was very reasonable. Most of the other responses were vague which seemed silly considering how specific and simple the job was. Eddy came, showed him the job and he fixed it as promised. Done. Would call him again for future work.

Edy showed up on time, was polite, smelled nice (lol), and efficient with snaking out my drain. He was prepared for other services such as running a camera through my old pipes which I declined at the time due to cost. I live in an older home with smaller pipes so snake draining is necessary from time to time. Thank you for your service and I'll reach out to him again for future needs.

They had the quickest response, I was able to get someone out to to my house the next day! Edy was great, he was communicative and fixed my sink very quickly. Will definitely be coming back for any problems in the future!

This company holds itself out as Baird Drain Service online. - but their invoice is called E-Drains, same address and phone.  They are not the original Bairds, a company, also in La Mesa, that provides drain cleaning services.  The original Bairds is fair, great workers and great value.  These people do not correct you if you ask if they are the original Bairds, they charge 3 times the amount of money, and when my drain clogged again 2 days after the service they wanted to charge me another $125.00 to clear the drain.  And then, when I asked why they would charge me again, she wanted me to pay up front, because of the tone of my voice (annoyed). When I told her I was a over 20 year customer of (the real) Bairds, a property owner and attorney she replied we don't like lawyers, so you would have to pay up front.  When I realized this was the wrong company I called George Baird drain service -- DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A RIP OFF AND THEY ARE PRETENDING TO BE A LEGITIMATE, LONG TIME SAN DIEGO COMPANY.
