After working on my kitchen sink for several days, my slow draining sink turned into a completely clogged sink. My better half and I worked on it for a few days...snaking it, taking the trap off...all that. Sunday morning, I threw in the towel and starting messaging companies on Yelp.

Joseph was super responsive via yelp when I messaged him on a Sunday morning. After a few emails, Brett called me and we spoke. Since this wasn't an emergency, I waited until Monday. Very helpful, even texted a few images to see if it was my sink or garbage disposal causing problems....we scheduled a service call.

Dillion and Jacob showed up (through the treacherous storms and closed freeways!) bright and early. Loved the texts to let me know their estimated time of arrival...and also them walking in and out of my side door to keep the muddy messy outside. Thank you!

Well, it was a clog...somewhere down the line.

Long story short....the job was done within 30 minutes, reasonable prices, and easy to pay via credit card.

MasterCraft is on the top of my plumbers list now! 5 stars!

Absolutely fantastic. I called at about 10:15 AM on a Monday regarding a clogged toilet at my elderly mother-in-law's house. I met their plumber, Brison (very cool guy ), at her house approximately 20 minutes later. From the time of placing my initial call to job completion was a little over one hour. Very pleased.

We had Jeremy Nedrow from Mastercraft Plumbing come take a look at leaking faucets in the master bath and he was professional. He gave us an estimate (which was reasonable) with detailed description of the work and once we approved the estimate, he got the work done immediately. Called MasterCraft regarding low water pressure in the house, but because it wasn't an emergency, it took a few days to get an appointment. The plumber Richard, let me know his arrival time and was able to quickly diagnose the problem which was the water softener which I don't use was on bypass. I asked them to remove that equipment so it could not happen again and they were able to finish all the work in about an hour. I was very happy with the result and with their prices. I will definitely use them again when I am ready to remodel my bathrooms.

I had a great experience with MasterCraft Plumbers and I'd definitely use them again.

My kitchen sink wasn't draining. I know how to clean the trap and even tried cleaning the clean out outside and it didn't help. So I reached out to MasterCraft.

I sent a request at 1am Sunday night and heard back from James at 6:40am. I provided my number and he called me and discussed the details. We decided it wasn't worth fixing on a Sunday due to the increase in rate, and scheduled them to come Monday at noon.

Fast forward to today, Monday, and they called and let me know they could come earlier; Joseph arrived at 10:55. He ran a powered snake through the line and it helped but didn't solve the problem. He got on the phone pretty quickly to try and see if there was availability for another crew to come and do the jet process and scope it. And they would roll the cost of the service visit/scoping into it all (so I didn't have to pay extra).

Luckily a crew was available so we schedule them to come later today, around 4pm. Joseph left and I got a call a short while later saying the crew could come earlier! So they showed up at 2:37 - and walked me through everything. I watched as they worked and explained things to me.

Turns out we should not be putting egg shells into our sink disposal- because that's what clogged my kitchen line. (See photo)

After a long process of pushing the shells deeper into the main drain, everything looked clear so they packed up and headed out. Francisco, Silouan and Manuel were the techs who helped here.

The entire time they were very communicative and I even got text messages when techs were on their way.

I woke up in the morning to go to the bathroom and found a puddle on the floor with water coming out of the door frame, strange. Called MasterCraft and they had Nick out in an hour! He fixed the pin hole leak and provided us everything we need to have the drywall removed and repaired. Nick did a thorough work and now the leak is fixed. We will be calling them again next time we need a fix.

MasterCraft Plumbers has been a godsend. a couple of months ago they helped with plumbing emergencies in two rentals and saved me again this week when the water heaters stopped heating water at my place AND then my mother-in-law's in the same week.

yeah, I know, yikes, huh?

James (on the phone) and Mike (in person) put in a ton of extra effort to make absolutely sure they understood exactly what the problems were so they could offer the best solutions.

here's another reason to LOVE these guys: Mike recommended instead of throwing the baby out with the bathwater (although in my case it would have been shower water and the baby's bigger than me and I'm a big guy), i have the warranty work done even though my two-year-old AO Smith hot water heater's a total lemon and could only be fixed by their authorized technicians (which meant MasterCraft Plumbers would NOT be doing the work).

Mastercraft Plumbing was the first company to respond to my calls for estimates and was able to come by the same day to give me a preliminary quote. James, the initial estimator/salesperson got me scheduled the next day for a water pipe leak that I suspected to be in the wall somewhere based on a hissing leak sound without any visible water damage.

Jeremy Nedrow the plumber who came out to do the leak detection and repair was very friendly and professional. He was very good to prep the area to control the mess and clean up after the work was done.

This plumbing division is part of a larger home improvement/construction company. I was so impressed with both James and Jeremy that I also requested quotes for multiple repairs/projects that I need done.

Remodeling our master bathroom and removed the subfloor. So we needed the pipes for the toilet to be adjusted. Got an appointment with the install manager right away. He came over to take a look at our project. A couple days after, their installer came and did a great job on ensuring we would have a pipe that could fit the toilet we intended to buy and install. It didn't take as long as I thought it would and the cost for the labor and parts were also a great deal!

We would highly recommend them to anyone ans may use them again for other projects we have going on in the house!

I have a water heater failing at one of my rentals, the plumber Manny came to diagnose first thing in the morning and determined that a heating element had to be ordered before proceeding with the repair. Note that he was honest, he didn't try to say it couldn't be repaired and just sell me a new unit. The day the parts arrived, he was tied up in another big job until late evening. After both Brett (who handles the operations) and Manny learned that the tenant really needed the water heater for the family, Manny went over to finish replacing the parts even though it was late evening. Really appreciate his professionalism and work ethics. With that kind of honesty, when I have other rentals needing service or when I'm ready to replace this heater, they are the 1st one I'll call.

I woke up to water spraying like a hose from the valve under the sink! I posted the emergency job here on Yelp, and they responded to the service request immediately. After a quick phone call, Brett was able to get me an appointment just a few hours later. From Brett on dispatch, to Jeremy & Silouan who came out for the service, everyone was great! Hello,

When we called they had Manny out to our office with in 3 hrs. Manny had to turn off the water gauge for the building, we had no clue where it was. Manny was very proactive and was adamant about finding this gauge, I witnessed him climbing walls, walking around the building until he found it. He had the repair done with in a few hrs. We though one of us would have to stay overtime to have him finish the work. He was done before we had to leave work. The job was complete in 3-4 hrs.
We are very satisfied and definitely recommend their services to anyone seeking professional and friendly work.

Had Joe at my house today, that's the first time I am calling Mastercraft for help. He went over my issue with the garden/storm drain pipe that is clogged with tree roots. To my surprise he just stated that I probably should save my money on the cleaning and call a gardener to redo the whole pipe instead as I will have more problems down the road. This kind of approach is quite important nowadays as many contractors are laser-focused on short term gains rather than long term customer satisfaction.

I REALLY appreciated Jim & Mike's willingness to squeeze me in for a look before their next appointment. Didn't try to $ell me anything.

So, Mike felt confident that he could knock it out without being (late) for next appt. His price was Very Competitive (of the plumber's that actually provided an estimate).

Turns out the clogged line has a lot more build-up than just the expected ground orange peels. He forged ahead, and still knocked it out in under an hour. It was nasty stuff !

Gave him all the cash that I had, which covered the Svc Call and maybe a burger or burrito. I'll definitely call upon them in the future for a more thorough Hydro clean.

We were in need of a new toilet due to the one we currently had constantly clogged and had little to no flush power. The snag we had was we had to have a specific one piece that would fit under the banjo counter (not a fan of those things). We had planned to renovate but with unexpected company coming we had to fast forward our plans and replace the toilet first. After working with Manny and the excellent other gentleman who worked together to not only find a toilet and have it ordered but they drove to go and pick it up and install it next day. It was not easy but everyone had excellent attitudes and were a pleasure to work with. I would defiantly call and work with them again in the future.

I sent out requests for a price quote to change out a under sink garbage disposal. I received numerous responses with exorbitant pricing (2-3 times more than what I paid) or a charge to come and give me an estimate.
Mastercraft Plumbers had the best price and friendly customer service. I was able to get the service scheduled within a couple of hours. The technician was friendly and professional. The payment invoicing was seamless.

I met with Joe Martin, the owner today. I needed to consult Joe on a couple of things going on in my home and he patiently walked around, investigated and listened to my concerns. He never acted as if he was impatient and together we determined that there was no big issue...just something to keep an eye one. I peppered him questions about a variety of plumbing projects like: tankless hot water systems, water filtration systems etc trying to think about my priorities for my home over the near and long term. He did a great job summarizing pros/cons and giving ballpark costs so I can mull things over for when I'm ready. He is clearly a business owner looking to build a long-term relationship with his customers and not trying to upsell or squeeze every dime out of his client base. Leaking water pipe on a Saturday, Christmas eve! I called around to several plumbers, got their answering machine or service, and nobody phoned back. Then I called Mastercraft Plumbers and Brett actually answered the phone. He was at home (I could hear the kids in the background) and contacted their man in the field to see if he could undertake the job today, but he couldn't. So he phoned me back to apologize (there was no need--it was Christmas eve!) and offered me an appointment for Wednesday, four days out. I didn't make that appointment, hoping I might find someone who could come by sooner. A few minutes later Brett called back to say he could get someone out on Tuesday. I took it.
I can't say enough about this company's rapid, friendly and helpful response to my problem. They will be my go-to for all my future plumbing needs.

I contacted Mastercraft because there was a recurring clog in my drain pipes from both my master and guest bathrooms. I was immediately contacted by Joe, the President of the company, received an appointment, and within 72 hours my pipes were clean and operating as if they were new. What I most enjoyed about this company is that Joe included me in the process. I was able to watch the camera he used to look through the pipes. Additionally, he showed me how his high pressure pipe cleaning system worked and made several passes within our pipes to ensure they were as clean as possible. By total accident, a hole was created in one of my skylights during the project, and without hesitation, Joe ensured a new one was on site and installed the same day. Throughout the service, Joe would check-in with me to ensure I was happy with everything. His attention to detail and customer satisfaction are unparalleled in comparison to past services I have received.

I may have only requested plumbing services from Mastercraft, but with this fantastic experience, I have no doubt the rest of the many services Joe's company provides are high quality and you will receive outstanding service and an outstanding product! MasterCraft is the only company you need to call when it comes to anything to do with your home! The plumbing division is available to help with everything from replacing a water line for a refrigeration to a full remodeling project. We were able to get help with our plumbing issue within a couple of hours of placing a phone call. Very satisfied with the work by the plumber John who took the time to explain the problem and options. We had a bathroom remodel done by a different company and the shower fixtures they installed were faulty. Their repair attempt was also ineffective so we called Mastercraft who sent out John with a reasonable quote. These guys know their stuff! I called to see if they could install my HALO whole house water filtration system and they gave me a free estimate and were able to come the next day for install. The technician was very clean and polite and answered all my questions and gave me advice on when to flush the system. I had such a great experience I also used them for a water heater installation (lowest price I was quoted by over 5 companies I called), shower repipe (to add a second shower head) and faucets and toilets installation. I'm a recent and first time home buyer, and as I'm settling in, I've been realizing there's a lot that I don't know that I don't know. Case in point? Toilets! I had 99 problems, and a flush was definitely one.

With a master suite toilet having some water level issues, and armed with some first time parent style paranoia on what is normal vs. not, I requested quotes via Yelp last night. MasterCraft was incredibly quick to respond, and sent me a detailed message on how I could get in touch with them, as well as the fact that they do FREE estimates. Their professionalism combined with the ability to get a free estimate? As someone who's been bleeding money lately with the buying and moving process, this was music to my ears! After texting some basic information to James, he promptly called me and we scheduled a time for an estimate today.

James and the team was prompt, friendly, and very efficient. They diagnosed the issue, worked their magic in minutes, and then went on their way. Should the situation ever arise again, I absolutely plan on and recommend using MasterCraft for any future jobs. The service was top notch and a breeze! Consider this a 5 star/wrench review!

I had a terrible sewer odor smell in one of the bathrooms that I hardly ever use. After trying some home remedies that I learned from the internet, the smell still remained. I was convinced I needed a new wax ring, as that was the last remaining step. I called James on Wednesday and his tech came out Friday morning. Immediately he determined that it wasn't the wax ring because it wasn't leaking, but said it was coming from one of the two sinks in that bathroom that never gets used. That was the problem--the water in the P-Trap had evaporated, allowing the sewer smell to come up through the drain. Best of all, he didn't charge me!

Had a pretty significant leak that needed fixed. I reached out on Yelp to numerous plumbers. This company not only reached out almost immediately with availability to come out the next day. But their quote was less than any of the other companies. James was amazingly responsive and took the time to quickly respond to all my questions. Having had multiple leaks over the last few years this was the most efficient and quickly finished fix that we've had. 100% recommend this company and would definitely use in the future

We woke up on a Saturday morning to no hot water and a pilot light that we could not re-light. We got an immediate response to our request for service from MasterCraft plumbing and they were able to send someone out to diagnose the problem right away. John was able to get our pilot light to relight and gave us a lot of great information about options should our problem happen again. He is very knowledgeable and helpful - we will definitely will MasterCraft plumbing for any future plumbing needs. Plumbing issues are never fun, but it was a pleasure to work with this company

Needed to add a bypass on my water main for water softening system and MasterCraft took care of it. Despite a small miscommunication on the schedule and me giving incorrect information to Joe, he graciously re-arranged his team to meet the schedule and they went of the way to get the right parts needed. Joe personally came over to check the work and make sure I was satisfied with the work. I would recommend MasterCraft and any of their affiliated companies for any home improvement or repairs. Price wise, they were very competitive and the peace of mind knowing that you are working with a licensed and insured company rather than a handyman on such an important piece of the home is the reason I chose them.

This team is awesome! I called more than a dozen companies for an urgent leak repair around 3pm. Understandably, most could make it out on short notice. MasterCraft seemed to have genuine compassion for my situation and three techs came by on their way home for the day. Quick diagnosis and repair! Really great customer service both on the phone and in person. I highly recommend this company!

Great service from MasterCraft Plumbing from start to finish. From the beginning Nicole was quick to respond to my request. When I emailed back other questions I heard back right away. NO DELAY ! Thank you Nicole.
She set up an appt. for the next day! (repair was NOT an emergency). Frankie was our technician and he was GREAT! Friendly, professional, and explained everything before he started the work. The plumber was late, he stated that he didn't get informed of this job until now and that it was going to take him 30 minutes to get to my house. Mind you, he was way passed my appointment time. When he showed up, he seemed more irritated that he had to be here. I was annoyed already because he was late but for him to act like that annoyed me even more. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Can't say how grateful I am to have had Jim and Mike come out this morning. Great communication, honest evaluation and reasonable pricing. We had another plumber botch the job leaving us with pipes more obstructed than when we started, and Mike was able to provide me the video needed to dispute with the previous plumber while resolving another issue with our laundry hookups. Will be coming to them for all of my plumbing needs in the future!!

We had some horrendous plumbing problems, in large part caused by incompetent plumbing work. We called in Mastercraft after meeting with Janelle about a home improvement project and learning that Mastercraft also has a plumbing group. Absolutely the best company! They solved our problems quickly and very reasonably. Since then a couple of more of their plumbers have been over to help with our improvement project. Everyone at Mastercraft is extremely nice, polite, friendly, caring and knowledgeable. They take the extra step to make really helpful suggestions. We feel fortunate to have linked up with them and cannot recommend them too highly for plumbing and also home improvement.

I want to complement master craft on their service and in particular Jeremy by technician for his attention to detail and repairing a leaky toilet. He not only replace the wax ring that was needed but also changed the flush pump and flapper which were also needed. He was detailed, courteous, and friendly. Had been working with the mother company for other projects when unexpectedly SDG&E identified a problem with our water heater after the house was tented for termites. James was able to walk us through options to find the best solution for our situation and timeline. The install team showed up on time, brought and installed the new water heater in a VERY tight closet in a matter of hours. The new heater and closet area looks very neat and clean and all has been brought up to code requirements. The plumber on the job site was also able to answer some related questions pertinent to upcoming bathroom renovations, which was very helpful!

Master Craft Plumbers are amazing and we will never use anyone else. My husband called yesterday and talked to James and he set up an appointment for Thursday. James called back this morning and said they could come out today and we said great! JEREMY showed up in 20 minutes and introduced himself and went to work fixing our toilet. He had it fixed within an hour and we couldn't be happier having it done so quickly. Jeremy was so nice and explained everything to us. We called Mastercraft to proactively clean out our perennially clogged up kitchen drain. Joe came to our house promptly the same day, cleaned out the drain and then suggested that we hydro clean it to avoid future problems. Two days later Frankie came with his equipment and now we are all set! Frankie was professional and friendly, explained everything to us and was finished in no time! And all for a reasonable price. I had an issue with an angle stop shut-off valve that I tried fixing myself and I had to shut off the water main to my house. It was a 7:30 Monday night!! and my wife was freaking out, How am I going to drink water or cook? How am I going to use the bathroom? How am I going to wash up? (She's an avid runner) In desperation, I texted MasterCraft Plummers at 7:30, and within about 10 min. Nicole responded back to me. She assured me that they could help. I sent pictures, and she gave me a general quote and said she would find a tech for the next morning. Before 9:00 that night she said she had a tech that could swing by and fix the angle stop shut-off valve at 8:00 am the next morning!! I was amazed when Mike arrived a little before 8:00 am!! He was very nice. Fixed the angle stop in 15 min. and got the water back on for my wife! It was such a relief! I finished the rest of the repair myself and everything was all good again.

Nicole at MasterCraft Plumbers really understood my situation and did everything to take care of me. This is the way service USED to be! She was awesome!

MasterCraft Plumbers in Carlsbad North County did amazing work. I am so happy to find a dependable plumber in North County San Diego. We had a leak and needed our hot water heater to be replaced ASAP. They provided a quote over the phone and scheduled the work the next morning. Their work is clean and complete and went above and beyond expectations. They also fixed a hot water line going to our washing machine and installed a water expansion tank to decrease the risk of water leaks and damage. I got four quotes and MasterCraft Plumbers was very competitive and provided very clear and professional communication throughout.
