Chris found the blockage that seemed immovable. A camera was put in the pipe and a black blockage seemed immovable.
He suggested that Hydro Jet (high powered water jet) be used to eliminate the blockage. It worked and a camera was used that visually showed the sewer pipe was Clear of obstruction out to the street. The process wasn't cheap but 20 plus years of blockage in that pipe being cleared was definitely the solution!!
All of the work was explained by Chris and the results were all correct in my opinion. Looking forward to years of free running drain lines!!

After noticing my water bill was $147 more than the previous bill at my investment property, I had contacted Cody from true value plumbing to locate the leak causing this huge increase on my bill! He was able to find the cause behind my master bathroom shower, he suggested a new shower valve as the permanent solution.

I had gotten other quotes from 2 other companies before I had decided to proceed with Cody.
Ars rescue rooter quoted me $12,000!! To demo my entire shower to get access to replace the valve, & ASI came in around $2897 to replace just the valve.

Long story short True value plumbings quote was substantially lower than both of the other quotes. & he was able to replace the valve without demo & replaced the entire trim!

These guys saved my office! Had no idea what was going on when I found a leak coming from my office ceiling. Cody was able to locate the leak and make a quick repair.

Discovered I had water leaking from my ceiling from a burst water pipe and had called 4 different companies that afternoon. Only True Value Plumbing was able to come out that same day. Talked to Cody and he sent Chris who recommended a restoration company come out as well. I was hesitant because I thought the leak was contained to only a small area and not that bad but when they opened up the ceiling a large gush of water came pouring through. If I had waited until the next day that water would have been just sitting in my ceiling and the water damage would have likely been much much worse. Replacing the water pipe was quick and they recommended getting my pressure valve replaced in order to hopefully prevent future issues like these arising. These guys are extremely prompt and knowledgeable and very good on communication which is huge. They've earned my business. I highly recommend!

I needed a toilet replaced and got several quotes through yelp before deciding to go with True Value Plumbing.  I always try to support veteran-owned businesses, and Cody was just a pleasure to do business with.  He was friendly and accommodating, and was able to give me a quote over the phone, which most plumbers don't do.  His technician Marcos showed up on time and did a great job. He was very clean, respectful, and professional. After removing the old toilet out and getting the new one out of the box, we realized the bowl was cracked...  Marcus had to put the old one back and made sure the bathroom was spotless when he was done.  He even offered to return the broken toilet and pick up a new one for me at no charge!  

Since this was an online order I had to deal with getting a refund over the phone and picked up a different one today. True Value offered to come back and install it at a discounted price because of the inconvenience I had to go through with the company I ordered it from.  This is above and beyond anything I would expect and just amazing customer service!

Marcos will be back tomorrow to install the new toilet and I am sure he will do a wonderful job!

Update: Marcos came back the next day and did a fantastic job with the installation. I am one happy customer!!

I had a pipe leak, and terrible water pressure in the shower. Called True Value Plumbing and had Christian out within 20 min. He fixed the pipe leak in addition added new fixture to the shower. All I know is that my showers feels 10x better!!

I tried to remove and replace my bathroom faucets and ran into trouble. I called True Value along with several other companies and Cody was the only one to request photos, diagnose the problem over the phone and send  Chris out within hours. When Chris realized we needed to turn off the main water to our entire complex they allowed me one day to notify the other tenants and Chris and Cody came back to complete the job the next morning (a Sunday) and still beat every other price I was quoted. I highly recommend True Value Plumbing!!

My first encounter with True Value was when i had an issue with the cast iron drain system going from my house to the street, it was leaking and needed to be replaced. I learned this from the inspection that i did on the house while buying it.

So i called around, got quotes, and guys came out from random companies - i wanted the best deal and the best job done, so i did my due diligence on the market.  

I called True Value Plumbing, they were recommended by someone that has hired them before, then soon after Cody showed at my house to give me a quote and check out the problem.

This gentleman was as personable and kind as can be, and that turned a nervous uncertain and stressful atmosphere that the problem created to a very comfortable one. I felt at ease and that helped me mentally a lot as the job carried on throughout the days.

I hired True Value, they were super competitive on the price and as clear as possible on what the plan of attack was.

Results:
I came out of this with a great drain system, spent within budget and mainly/my fav part i was educated on the whole process the whole time. I learned what was happening and what to expect and how to better understand the plumbing system in my house.

Fast forward a couple years and a few jobs later, and this is the only company i call for anything plumbing related.
It's the company i recommend to all my friends and Cody is the guy that never lets me or my network down.

Sadly they diagnosed a water heater as inoperable and wanted $3K for a replacement. They didn't open the unit or perform any diagnostics. Another plumber asked to see the temperature control and figured out the problem in five minutes. No repair or replacement necessary. Glad I didn't waste the money. Updating to three stars since Cody realized there was an issue and reached out.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the day and I did a quick search to and found True Value Plumbing.

Odds were definitely with me because they responded so quick and got the job done within the hour I had spoken to the owner Cody.

They're very professional and kind. Treated my home like it was their own. They even offered to check the other toilets to see if they were in a good state.

Put a yelp request out for a toilet install and True Value Plumbing called me right away. They came out the same day, and installed my new toilet. Cost for install was better than many other quotes I received. And I also didn't have to go buy a toilet they just picked one up for me!

Cody the owner is excellent to work with. He replaced a toilet that was flushing very poorly within 24 hours of contacting him. He offered an initial less expensive route to address this first which was not sufficient, and turned right around to replace the toilet altogether. He was great to work, prompt and trustworthy. I trust him on my property that is a rental to use the lockbox and do work without my presence. I will definitely use him again and can trust him to do work quickly between short term rental tenants.

One of my toilets flooded and they were very fast and friendly in getting the work done. They even checked my other toilets in the home to ensure that they were working properly.

I rarely come on these platforms to leave reviews, but coming on here to leave one for True Value Plumbing is certainly worth it to me. My mom lives in a very old house in San Diego and recently had a pipe burst in her bathroom and was panicking as you would imagine. She called me over and I did my research and heard great things about this company so I reached out and spoke with Cody. He was very professional and friendly and eased my mind on what work needed to happen. Naturally I was concerned a company would try and hustle my mom and say she needed all this additional work done. But Cody was straight forward and gave us a great price and the work was phenomenal and have had no problems. If your looking for an honest, reliable plumbing company True Value Plumbing is the only way to go!

Cody, who is very friendly and personable, removed an old water filtration system I had that had outlived its usefulness. He did an outstanding and very professional job and was very fair in what he charged.  Last year, when I had a tankless water heater installed, I wish I had used True Value Plumbing instead of one of the big name local plumbing outfits I went with that charges A LOT.  Guess that's how they pay for their advertising. True Value plumbing is a class act! My toilet was flooding, and I didn't want to risk any water damage, so I called, and they sent Cody out immediately. He gave me a quick and cost-efficient quote to fix everything. I ended up having to redo piping under my house, which I thought would take a couple of days and cost an arm and a leg. I had a sewer back up problem with one of my properties in Pacific Beach so I reached out to True Value plumbing and let me tell you I had  a real great experience with them from beginning to end! Not only Cody kept great communication with me the whole time via phone he politely informed my tenants of everything that was going on as well. Once Cody cleared the line he gave me a free camera inspection and FaceTimed me to have me see what he was seeing . VERY TRANSPARENT and a excellent prices . I highly recommend True Value! AMAZING!!!! Thank God for this company!! I manage a trampoline park and one of our urinals were leaking uncontrollably. I called true value plumbing and not only did they have awesome and helpful customer service, but they went above and beyond to help! The service was quick and affordable. I'm so lucky I came across this company. This is the only plumbers I will be calling !!!
