I had a slowly draining drainage and requested a free in-person estimate from Leak and Drain. Omar came and performed a camera check and explained the probable issue before giving an estimate and timeline. He and Jonathan did a thorough inspection and drain cleaning process.
Omar went over the 2 hour estimate but stayed over and relentlessly checked all the drains without additional charges.
He is very honest, reasonable and a very professional plumber. I admire his dedication to a customer-satisfaction guarrantee!
Miguel was the technician that came to assist me with this water valve project. I was installing a fridge and the water valve to the fridge couldn't turn off. So this is when I contact Home leak and drain. He was quick to respond and it only took him 25 mins for the project to be completed. I would highly recommend them.

I requested service for a leak in my main pipe which is connected to the irrigation The guys came to detect a leak in my irrigation pipe.Spent some time going back and front with no tools at all.very unprofessionally.They wasted my whole day.
And left saying we don't have the tools.Someone else will be here .But no one contacted.Very irresponsible. Do not waste your time here.

These guys were awesome. Another company wanted to charge me $2200 to saw cut and jackhammer up my concrete. Home Leak came out and cleared out a clogged storm drain with his hand and told me no charge. Super honest and I will call them when I have a problem!
Got an email from the city I may have a leak, and couldn't find it on my own. Called these guys out and they found it in 20 minutes, a hot water pipe broken under the foundation of my home. Worked around my schedule to do the repair on a Saturday quickly and effectively, without hardly making a mess. Awesome guys!
Put a request in on Yelp because the company I used before ghosted me. Home Leak and Drain replied, along with several others, but the reason they stood out was that they gave me a quick estimate for what I wanted right away (obviously not holding them to it) but I had one other company (to remain nameless here) came out in the morning and quoted me 9x as much for a simple camera scope and drain snake.
Well, after about 15 mins. No clog and seriously affordable rate for the not needed snake of my main line. You can never be too careful especially with a house with a mind of its own.
So, now, Home Leak and Drain Solutions. You are now on my list of EXCELLENT, ABOVE THE BOARD service plumbing technicians I will use when I get paranoid again or if something really happens.

These guys are very professional, affordable and they get it done quick. Had them fix a leaky toilet and an exterior pipe as well.
Our front and back spigots had been leaking for a long time. It was time to get them fixed. Jose arrived early Thursday to inspect the spigots and provided a quote. We agreed to get the work done that day. Jose ran out to get some supplies, he returned shortly and got to work soldering and getting both spigots fixed. He provided excellent customer service and I would definitely call him for future plumbing needs.
Omar has helped us twice in the last few weeks with leaks underground and in our walls. His people did tremendous work, replacing seventy-year-old corroded iron pipes. They dug under sidewalks without harming them. They dug underneath artificial turf and restored everything, including a large trampoline, exactly as they were.
Don't expect a cheap job or cheap price -- I think Omar got a very nice Thanksgiving and Christmas bonus -- but I respect good workmanship and am willing to pay appropriately for reliable expertise.
Miguel went ABOVE & BEYOND to help us. We had a water leak that caused severe damage to our downstairs bathroom and thankfully, Miguel was proactive and thoughtful enough to check in some other areas preventing future work. I watched him repair multiple items and he was clean, his post work was impeccable and the house was left perfect. He took great pride in his work, company and it showed.
I want to be clear, its rare that you have a friendly, reliable, REASONABLY priced plumber who is ON TIME and does GREAT WORK. Miguel and Home Leak and Drain Solutions DELIVER.

I look for the F words when I look for a repair company - friendly, fair and fixed. Add fast to the list. Omar got my drain request this morning and within a few minutes I was scheduled for this morning. Jonathan was on time and within minutes the problem was fixed and he also told me some maintenance stuff I should be doing to prevent issues.
We have an older home with updating needed from time to time so I will be calling again for our plumbing needs as they arise. I recommend you do too. They do much more than just drains.

2-7-2023 - Our sink had a stoppage/not draining.
MIGUEL OF HOME LEAK AND DRAIN CONSTRUCTION INC AND HIS ASSISTANT BRYAN WERE OUTSTANDING!!!
Let me walk you through how and why we went with Home Leak and Drain construction Inc.
In June 2022 We had a bad experience with another plumbing company who could not clear our drain. They were contracted by our AHS insurance. They Flooded our kitchen and walked all over our living/dining room and family room with their wet shoes. Because they could not clear the stoppage, they recommended hydro Jetting which they said would cost $725 for cold and $1,250 for hot hydro jetting which is not covered by AHS.
Because of the hydro jetting cost I tried something I saw on You Tube.
After they left I poured a cup of baking soda and a cup of vinegar like what I have seen in YOU TUBE. MAGIC!!! It cleared my non draining sink.
7 months later 2-7-2023 my sink clogged again, the baking soda and vinegar didn't do the magic.
2-7-2023 our AHS insurance company contracted QRF plumbing. Benjamin was very professional and punctual, but he could not clear the drain. He recommended Hydro Jetting for which he doesn't do.
Because I was told by the plumbing company in June 2022 that hydro jetting is not covered by AHS,
2-8-2023 I research hydro jetting companies on Yelp.
Home Leak and Drain Construction Inc had a high rating and the reviews were 4-1/2 stars. Gave them a call and set up an appointment for 2-8-2023. Miguel showed up on time. Very courteous and professionally explained what and how he's going to do Hydro Jetting.
Miguel and Bryan did a step by step process and towards the end he showed the snake with camera that the grease/clog has been cleared.
Very reasonably priced at $475.00 which is $$250.00 less than what I was quoted by the other plumbing company in June 2022.
My husband and I were very pleased with Miguel and Bryan's work!!!

In fairness AHS is OUTSTANDING in resolving our issues in the past and we're keeping AHS HIGHLY RECOMMEND AHS to all who needs home owners warranty.
We were Not aware that on 2-10-2023, AHS emailed us that Your appointment with xxxx has been scheduled for February 13th, 2023 at 3:00pm - 5:00pm PST the same company who could not clear our sink in June 2022.
I canceled that appointment in the AHS website. Because the issue has been resolved by HOME LEAK AND DRAIN CONSTRUCTION INC!!!

They were a little late to arrive but I was called and given a heads up about that. Jason identified the problem as soon as he saw it. We went to our neighbor's house (with their permission of course), he checked for the leak and found it. He explained everything to the home owner and took care of the issue.
We used these guys initially to replace a hot water heater. Very responsive and fair in price. They also helped up with a master bathroom that leaked and set us up with American Response Team and helped navigate our insurance claim. They came the day it happened and eased our minds in the beginning. The project took a long time to complete but that was due to the bathtub being on back order, not their fault.
The only negative is there were two errors at the end of one project that needed to be corrected and communication fell apart around this. We are not sure if they were busy and overwhelmed with other projects but Omar never called or emailed or texted us when we asked for a resolution around this. One example, Miguel replaced a faucet handle in our second bathroom but installed it backwards so that the hot/cold was reversed. When we asked him to fix this, he first said, it was already like that (it wasn't) and then responded with a bid for us to pay them $350 to fix it rather than offering to correct his mistake. Had they corrected it, we would have gladly kept working with them on all other projects at their asking price moving forward. We would have even paid their bid for the second error as that was more of a communication issue rather than a direct mistake on their part. At this point, we had already employed them to replace a toilet, fix our kitchen sink drain, replace a hot water heater, replace our master bathtub so asking them to fix one small mistake they made seemed fair.
One other thing we will point out, we had told them before the master bathroom project started that we would be willing to pay extra and upgrade (for example, better faucets or a better tub), but they never gave us any options around this. They simply picked everything out themselves and installed it. In hindsight, this would have been really nice to be able to upgrade and it would have prevented some of the communication/disappointment issues at the end. If they read this, we would recommend that they ask clients to verify handles/faucets, etc before they install or ask clients to go pick it up themselves.
Because of the communication hiccups at the end, we have gone with another contractor to replace a second bathroom and replace all the fixtures hence the four stars rather than five. Would we recommend them? Sure, just be sure to double check everything they pick out before they install it because once installed, there is no going back. Communication is key.

Updating my previous 5-star review with FIVE MORE to total 10 Now !
I live in a 4th floor condo and recently noted water leaking under my washer (Baaaaaaad News for potential damage to 3 units below !!).
So I returned to call this great firm and they had their Duty Tech at my front door within an hour ! Wow !!
And then for such fast response there was no extra charge as I called in normal business hours.
So for $69.99 standard cost it was determined that my washer drain line was blocked with lint, etc. A quick efficient manual snaking unclogged it and spared me the COSTLY H2O damages than could have occurred.
Make this outfit your G0-TO drain service firm !!!
I had some sewer gas odors and general concerns over cast iron pipes. After an inspection and a jetting/cleaning of the pipes I was relieved to learn there were not any major plumbing issues. I was shown the camera images, told the cost of services before I agreed and never felt like I was being oversold or misled.
I would do business with Home Leak and Drain Solutions again.

What started as a drain that needed to be snaked turned into needing all new pipes. My original cast iron pipes from 1954 had given out. Juan was here for four days taking care of everything that was discovered. Great job and everything works beautifully. What a lifesaver and prevented a major sewage leak. Excellent, quick service to change an old corroded valve behind my refrigerator. They were done in 20 minutes. Highly recommend for your plumbing needs.
Omar was prompt and professional and his team took great care of us. We unfortunately had a major toilet stoppage and they had to drill through the concrete to make the repairs, but they did great work.
Omar is very knowledgeable of the industry and will do his best to take care of you with reasonable prices and the highest quality of work.

Used this guy Omar for a leak detection. He became belligerent, cursed at me, and even threatened to beat me up when I told him to honor the price he quoted me over the phone. I was in shock. Later on I checked the license number he has posted on his van. Turns out his LICENSE NUMBER is FAKE! Try it yourself. If you go to his website the guy doesn't have his license number anywhere on there. Only a fake one on his van. So in other words he is doing UNLICENSED work, so beware! Don't believe me? Call him and ask for his license number then look it up. We will be contacting the CSLB next.

Carlos was prompt, professional and took care of a problem we had for a long time. Several other plumbers had just barely cleared our main drain, but we needed them to take it further. Carlos did everything to finally give us the clean drain we needed. While he was at it, he discovered a break in the city's pipe and we were able to alert the city to that problem as well. Jose G was terrific. His experience really made all the difference - having (claimed to have) installed faucets 1000+ times. Very courteous, mindful of the disruption to family time (it was a late evening emergency call) but totally tidy and professional. Recommend this outfit and Jose in particular.
These guys were great for clearing up our drain issue. They were very straight forward with their pricing before coming out. Other contractors wanted to come out to provide a quote to clear a drain.
Migual and his partner came out and figured out where the problem was and charged me the exact amount that was quoted.
Migual was very communicative and friendly throughout the process and I appreciated it.

Omar is everything you want in a plumber. He's reliable, does great work, competitively priced and HONEST. Honesty is a priority for me and time and time again, Omar has given me his honest, professional opinion and never tried to upsell me.
I first met him in an emergency leak at a rental property. I called several people on Yelp and he showed up quickly and figured it out. He gave me a quote to replace all my shower plumbing and told me to try to find a better deal. I tried and couldn't. When I needed to adjust the shower head height, he came back free of charge.
He's since done several jobs for me at rental properties and was a great resource for my most recent purchase. It's great to have a go to plumber who responds quickly via text and will take care of me.
I sent a message via Yelp and had a response within minutes. Miguel arrived within the estimated 30 minutes promised. We had a clogged kitchen sink and he was able to unclog it quickly. He was very professional and cleaned the driveway after. Thank you!

Excellent work overall. Omar responded to our inquiry very promptly after an emergency leak through our ceiling. Miguel quickly responded and did a very thorough work. He found the leak and explained all the steps needed to fix the problem and to prevent it from reoccurring. Worked with us on the cost to fit our budget. I had a toilet problem, it would take 2 flushes for everything to go down. Called a couple of other plumbing companies, but just to diagnose the problem, they were charging at least $145 for the 1st hr. Home leak and Drain stated in here that they give free estimates....sold! They came out the next day, Omar diagnose the problem. Simple solution, replace the toilet fill valve. He gave me a quote, then I asked him if I can do it myself, without no hesitation he said of course, I would! I appreciated the timeliness and honesty. Would not hesitate to use again! 5 stars!!!!!

I can't even tell you how much this company saved my plumbing issues. I have an older house so my house was just waiting for a plumbing issue. Well, it's been going on & off for the past few years. MANY plumbers have given me quick fixes with high prices with no real solved issue in sight until now. I've had a handful of plumbers come to my house for the same issue throughout the years and only TWO out of the handful looked under my crawl space. Apparently, that's where all the issues were at. With a few quotes and conversations, Omar & Daniel from Home Drain were AMAZING. Very fair pricing, detailed, but more importantly, empathetic, kind people. Communication was great and I seriously can't explain how much they eased my stress. I've been trying to find a plumber company I can trust & I did! No regrets with them. The technician that came out was super friendly and did a good job on clearing my shower drain. So for that I'm grateful and happy with the work.
This is why I didn't give a 5 star review. I was getting quotes through email and phone. I talked with a woman from Home Leak and Drain Solutions. I gave her my address, and that my drain was clogged. She said it would be $69 if it was an easy clear. When the technician came to assess the job in person, he said it would be $125. He said that he would just have to use the hand snake and that it shouldn't be too bad. I asked him why it isn't $69 like the woman said earlier. He said it's because he has to drive downtown, and parking costs a lot. First of all, the woman on the phone knew exactly where my address was beforehand. Then I told him to park in the yellow zone, that it's free for commercial vehicles. He said that it's ok, that he already did... which didn't make any sense to me... Then I asked him what kind of job is $69 then. He said a residential clog where he can just drive up to the house. Again, this didn't make any sense as they already knew my address. In addition to that, he parked right outside my building and my unit is on the 2nd floor- very easy access. It's probably easier than a lot of houses.
My clog was super easy for him to complete- maybe took about 30 minutes in total. If they would have quoted me $125 from the beginning, I wouldn't have had an issue with it. By quoting me $69 and then charging me nearly twice the amount made it feel dishonest just for me to choose them initially. I didn't like that, it's a bad model.
Omar responded immediately and was at the house within 60 minutes. He scoped and jetted the clean out to resolve our problem quickly. Cleaned up a crappy situation quickly, for lack of better terms.

Not too long after I posted in yelp what I needed help with, I got a notification from Omar that he is available and will be here within 30 minutes. I called him right away and he came over and assessed the problem with Jonathan. They found the leak and helped us get patched up with their sister company American Response Team so they can investigate further and get this leak fixed thoroughly because it leaked thru the dry walls that would probably need replacing. Thank you for your help and putting our minds at ease.
Long overdue review. Omar and team have been our go to plumbers for both our real estate business (clients) and ourselves for our personal home for four years now. Professional, responsible, on time, company of their word, integrity...are just a few words that come to mind. It's a given that they're going to do a great job, no questions asked. It's very hard to find a trade partner who upholds their reputation day in and day out. Client after client, I can call Omar and team and they'll deliver without us worrying. If you need a plumber, this is your business.
What we thought was just a backed up sink turned into a multiday project that involved breaking through our dining room floor and concrete foundation to access some clogged pipes. Jose fixed us all up and worked multiple long days. He kept his work area very clean which was critical since he was jack hammering through concrete and digging out dirt inside our house.
Months later when the water heater started leaking we used them again with great success. Luckily the second time was a much quicker repair. Hot water heater works great!
We will definitely use them again.

I called Home Leak and Drain Solutions to come check out a few plumbing issues. They came out same day to provide a free quote and ended up making some recommendations to help me avoid a costly repair instead. Miguel and Adam were on time, efficient, and respectful of my property. While I can't comment on any repairs because none were made, I will certainly use this company in the future.
I was extremely disappointed, he said he fixed the leak, I paid him and 2 hours later it's leaking again! I called him and asked him to please come back and fix it, and he refused to unless I pay him more. It's his fault he didn't fix it right the first time! Never using this company again.

If I could give Omar and his team 10 stars, I would. Look no further and just book Omar for any plumbing related jobs you need. He's reliable, honest, and caring. He TRULY has his customers best interest at heart. He will not upsell you on services you don't need. Rather, he will guide you and lay out all your options. I've used Omar and his team for 4 different jobs now:
1. Drain inspection during escrow
2. Hydrojetting during escrow
3. Water heater removal and installation outside
4. Toilet drain repair and installation
EACH time, Omar was responsive, transparent about cost, and gave me consistent updates. He's everything you want and more in a plumber.
Jose is also fantastic!! He's efficient and extremely friendly. He will stay and clearly explain to you everything that is going on.

My warranty company sent a plumber who decided not to cover my garbage disposal since a screw was missing. Long story short, I contacted Home Leak and 5 other companies. Quick to respond and give bid, but then bid went up, because of confusion as to where the water line was, I agreed, but then after work was completed our washer was Not getting water, and he charged another 487. To fix it. Then we did not have cold water at kitchen sink, and he said another 487. To fix that. I said no, and days later he agreed to fix it for no charge. I feel like I should not have paid even the extra 487., since the bid had already gone from 1500. to 3500., and I felt like they were taking advantage of the fact that we had no water until it was fixed. I suggest to always check with better business bureau and if you have any issues, contact the contractors board. Because the issue was addressed, I did not have to move forward with that action. When you sign the contract, be sure you agree that the work will be done properly for the money, and no problems caused by the work will be charged extra. I am not happy about the additional charge, and feel it should be refunded.
Very happy with the service. I have been using them for a couple of years now and they always come right away. They provide very reasonable pricing and explain everything.
Found an original construction gas pipe for a gas fireplace that was removed decades ago in the wall. The gas pipe was in the way of a new electrical project and it had to go now.
I contacted Omar and he sent Jose to my place within an hour. Nice guy, lots of energy, answered all my dumb questions and got the old pipe capped off and removed.

Very responsive company and they are always willing to take on new work or meet new customers. The owner Omar is a great guy always looking to do the right thing by his customers and is a hard worker. I have used them many times and continue to refer them as they are very responsive. They have a very affordable leak detection service which is tough to find and also can handle pretty much any type of plumbing needs.
Although we did not eventually select HLD Solutions, my experience with Omar required a rave review! We sent out feelers to get bids on main line repair or replacement and upon meeting Omar I knew I was in for an informative session. He was genuine and honest in his assessment of our situation, as well as the actions performed by prior companies, and their bid came in with the most affordable price. I wished that they were able to provide a more robust financing solution, or they would have received the work, and I'm POSITIVE that we would have been happy customers.
Knowing that we are in an old home, we are excited to add Omar and HLD Solutions to our primary contact information. I expect to have them out in the coming months for some additional plumbing or general construction that is needed on our newly purchased home.

The tech was friendly and seemed knowledgeable, they seemed to do a good job on the repair. They are on the more expensive side with other plumbers I have used in the past. I was charged $275 for leak detection even though I told them where I thought the leak was coming from and they only had to cut in one area. My biggest issue was when the owner Omar first came and discussed pricing he said we would work something out but I never talked to him again, the tech came, repaired and invoiced me so it felt like the initial conversation with Omar never happened. I had expressed concern to him about getting charged so much for leak detection when I knew where the leak was probably at. I would still consider using them again as they were responsive and had good availability but I expect to pay a premium on the price.

Miguel was wonderful and took care of our clogged drain. He was very professional and I would highly recommend Home Leak & Drain Solution.
I had them come by initially for a repeated clog in my kitchen sink and was quoted around $70. They found the pipe was very clogged and I agreed to them cleaning it via a pressure washer basically. The price of the project obviously went up as there was more services being provided.. Cool..
Second time they came by to replace an odd double ptrap into a single one. Quoted 250. Jose was very nice and helpful overall. He moved the garbage disposal to the other side of the sink to make the ptrap correct. Unfortunately this increased the price by another $150.
It seems consistent that the quoted price is way below what is actually paid.
Additionally, on the second visit, Jose noticed the pipe that was pressure cleaned was very clogged. I'm wondering if they did an adequate job during the first visit as it was only two months ago.
Overall I have mixed feelings.

Omar and his team helped us fix a hot water line leak over Memorial Day weekend. Reached out on a Thursday, came out Friday afternoon (determined to stay as long as they needed to find the problem and did not over charge), then came back out Saturday morning despite the holiday to fix the leak. Very professional and communicative throughout. Showed us pics of before and after as the leak was in the crawl space under the house. Glad I came across these guys. Explained well what the problem was. Showed me the pictures, offered the options, then let me choose. They did what they said they would do, no surprises and reliable.
They were very responsive and diagnosed a water leakage very quickly. Omar was great and was able to find out that the leaking is actually from my neighbor's pool autofill system.
Omar and partner came to the rescue. I called for an emergency call for my faucet in my bathroom that busted and could not be shut off. They came within 20 minutes of my call. I have been talking back and forth with this company with a cloged drain and a toilet ring replacement. They didn't show up on the appointed day.
The rental property is a little hard to work with once come to schedule setting up. I have worked so hard to get I it set up. But end up calling a different company as an emergency service the second day. Plus, if you are not responsible at least let me know before or on the same day. They don't pick up calls or return test messages for the same day and the day after. They don't answer calls normally, have to left message or text. ) it doesn't matter how hard to set up, you could let me know that would make more sense to me. I would be appreciated and have time to set up with other companies.
After two days that I gave a horrible review.
I have found out there the property manager did sent message but no voice mail. He did not tell me if there is a set up date. He might not want to be questioned as that much for details like this. So I figured, just don't believe what people say just believe what they can do.
Back to the situation. So I called again for an emergency clog and flood in master bedroom. I called the guy who fixed the clog on Saturday and Sunday. he couldn't show up or have someone show up on Monday. So I called this company again. He did show up in 2-3 hours from a long distance. And did a long long hours of a unclog job for the property at late at night. He got a camera run from the roof and told me the problem where is was. And jet cleaned the pipes. Also. He told me a 30 days guarantee.
Only up to this moment. I am satisfied at the end. And I am just happy someone is there to take care my house. I have been deal with this for so long and I just happy someone can help and get my house problem fixed. I wish I know this company early so that I can save so much money on calling so many people just for one problem. But I will keep this company as my to go solutions for future. Besides, the setting up time and contact difficulty, over all, the services quality is the final proof for a good team and works.

After spending $30 on a 50 ft snake and a bottle of Drano trying to resolve the issue myself putting my budget up to about $40-50 with all the labor work, in the end it was not worth it. My kitchen sink was clogged and all I know is that it was more than 50 feet worth of build up down there. I threw in the towel and decided to put in my request to find a plumber. They gave me a quote that was far more reasonable than the 4 other plumbers did. They sent out a guy within an hour or 2 to attend to my needs. Also offered me different alternatives if the first option did not resolve my needs. But in the end the guy was able to get my kitchen sink running again and also gave me a 30 day warranty that came along with my service. Very satisfied with the service and would def would use them again!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Home Leak & Drain was able to schedule me for the same day, when all others were booked for a couple of days. Omar, Field Manager, called me 45 minutes in advance of arrival to let me know they were on their way. Omar was able to detect the issue immediately and fixed it within minutes! I am so glad to have found Home Leak & Drain Solutions. Had a gas leak on left side of the house. SDGE stopped by, checked and shut down the gas line. Called up Home Drain Solution and the dispatch was able to connect me with Omar, the owner within 10 minutes. Omar showed up on time, diagnosed the issue. We agreed on the pricing and boom!! Jose, his plumber jumped out from the bush and start go at it. He was able to resovled the issue in timely manner and able to identified some other troublespot and took care of the leak and make sure that everything is up to code. Omar stopped by later to check on the work and did some more diagnose. They were able to complete the task next day and I got our gas back. Very nice follow up from both of them. Our plumbing backed up flooding the downstairs and HL&DS were there immediately and right on top of the problem. Nellie called me and she was so kind and sweet then contacted Miguel quickly. They resolved not only the plugged up drain but went beyond and extremely committed to getting the job done. So pleasant and friendly making me feel at ease under a stressful situation.
Unfortunately on a second time around when there was still a problem. However it was separate from the first drain plug. We were quoted $1500 to repair a pipe but later found out through two more plumbing estimates and a AC guy that they were not correct about the pipe and it was coming from the AC condensation. Go figure ... their still nice guys but glad we sought other plumbers for additional opinions. As well they did not return my calls and the drain backed up again.
By the way, when I tried to get a quote in writing -they dropped me like a bomb and did hear a thing. We left friendly terms so was surprised.
Ricky, Jose, Enrique, and Omar was outstanding. This company provides excellent customer service. There service was phenomenal, prompt, detail oriented, considerate, and knowledgeable. I recommend them to you all.

After a thorough review of our situation, Omar determined a section of our main drain-line was in need of replacement. (Did not see that coming). I just had the best experience with Home Leak and Drain Solutions plumbing. I had a leak in the water supply line to the irrigation system at the shut-off valve location. They are very friendly, great attitude, extremely professional, and helpful. They also practiced excellent social distancing due to COVID-19. I am very impressed with this company and plan to use them for all of my plumbing needs in the future.
Miguel and his team did such a thorough job for my old pipes. I had initially called for just a drain cleaning, but he identified a serious problem with my plumbing. Not only did he find the resources to deal with the emergency problem on my behalf, he also dealt with insurance and my landlord, on top of working on the pipe problem itself. Omar has done work for me before. So I reached out to him for my tankless hot water heater system problem. Error codes difficult to identify and a potential combination of problems. This nasty grease clog backed up my double sided kitchen sink and it literally smelled so bad I thought I would puke. I was a little wary because I'm guilty of judging companies based on yelp review counts but I decided to yolo. I called late during the work day last night and got serviced even though it was after 5pm. I made an appointment for between 9am-11am this morning and Josue arrived just after 9:15am, shortly after Omar(the owner) dropped by for a quick check in. :) They were super friendly, efficient and extremely fast. The price was a fantastic 69$. Josue is a very hard worker and didn't cut any corners and even cleaned up all the underneath of my sink for me. He responded in 10 minutes like yelp said and came to my house on time. We were amazed with his professional work and attitude. I found Home Leak and Drain Solutions on Yelp when we had an emergency leak that flooded my kitchen last weekend. Omar and Jonathan came out right away to investigate and stop the leak before it got any worse. Omar explained exactly what he found and what steps he needed to fix it. Dealing with the insurance claim has been a little overwhelming, but Omar has answered all my questions and been available through calls and texts to make sure the proper paperwork gets filed for our claim. I am extremely glad that I called HLDS and I will be recommending them to my friends so if they ever experience a plumbing leak they will know who to call for top notch work and excellent customer service.

I needed a couple of drains unclogged last week, then low and behold my kitchen sink backed up today, so of course I called them! Home Leak & Drain came out to give me a quote before starting work, which really helped give me peace of mind before committing to the work being done. Once they determined the fix, the work done costed exactly as much as they said it would. The tech who did the work was really friendly, forthright, and efficient. Will definitely consider calling on them again for future repair needs.
Sink backed up so I reached out to get quotes on plumbers via Yelp. Home Leak and Drain responded right away and scheduled a time to come out within a couple of hours. Omar and his tech were great, they explained what was going on and fixed the back up in a very efficient amount of time. Would definitely use them again.

Omar has been my go-to guy for a couple years now. We had Omar come to repair a bad main line. He ran a camera and diagnosed the problem as being a bow in the line. We had been putting this repair off for ages. We really had a great experience with Jose and Josue. Jose and Josue were assigned to fix the mainline and they did a great job. The problem was a really bad install by a previous plumber long ago, Jose and Josue fixed the problem and showed us all the work. They were a pleasure to work with; friendly personalities that puts you at ease, answered all questions, did clean work, and charges a competitive fee. Had a clogged toilet, requested a quote on yelp. Got a very fast response on a Sunday. Quotes were reasonable. One of the very few who actually quote a price rather than beating around the bush. Booked the appointment, very prompt service. Fixed the issue in 15 mins. Would definitely use their services again.
So happy my husband found Omar here on Yelp! Both Omar and Jose came out this morning after speaking to them yesterday about our water pressure in our condo to give a free estimate. I wanted to write an update to my reivew of Home Leak & Drain Solutions because we found a small leak and the spigot was difficult to turn off completely. I sent Omar @HL&DS a message through Yelp about it and he answered back just as quickly for this as he did the first time we conacted him for the initial (and much more difficult) issue. We were extremely pleased to see the attention Omar gave for this! He came out to our home just a couple of hours after we messaged the same day! Omar and Jose arrived and inspected the issue and what was so refreshing was never once did they bring up money or additional charges etc. I didn't even have to say anything about the guarantee I got from Home Leak and Drain Solutions on the initial job. Both Omar and Jose were professional and got right to the heart of the issue. Omar even went far above beyond brought out a moisture meter and gave us a free reading in one of our bedrooms as well as charged the pipe outside that room to trace it and on top of it went back to his truck and got leak detection tools to ensure us that there were no other leaks! Jose replaced the spigot with a far more better one than before and everything is now back to normal again! Home Leak and Drain Solutions are now our #1 go to for any future plumbing issues!! We are just floored by how above and beyond Omar and crew have gone on such a basic and simple job to begin with! These guys are for real, freindly & a pleasure to deal with. So of course we discovered a leak in our main water pipe over the weekend. There is never an ideal time for plumbing issues but the weekend makes it even more complicated. I sent messages through Yelp to a handful of plumbers, and not one of them responded. Only Omar did, and he did so quickly. Two stars for that alone. I'm willing to bet that I will receive messages from the others on Monday. But to describe being without water for an entire weekend, with 5 people and 2 pets in the house, inconvenient seems like an understatement.
Prior to sending the messages, we did speak to a different plumber, who said they would charge $300-$400 just to isolate the leak. But if we isolated it, we could save ourselves that chunk. When Omar messaged back he said he would come and check it out for free. Two stars. So the leak is underground, which means digging, so more time and labor is involved, which equals to more money. Understandably so, it's what the first plumber was saying about the extra charge. Money is tight and Omar worked with us too, and said that if we dug up the hole, where he suspected the leak, we would save quite a bit. I appreciate that. Two more stars.

I had two issues and both were fixed above my expectations. They know the housing codes and build to code so everything was done safely and the right way. The quote process was quick with very competitive pricing. They were also so flexible with their scheduling. The parts that they used were high end and the job was done so cleanly. I had a slow draining kitchen sink. Home Leak and Drain Solutions responded promptly and had the drain cleared in no time. They were polite and courteous, even covered their shoes to protect my floor. After the drain was cleared, the plumber (sorry I don't remember his name) recommended that I pour a large pot of boiling water down the drain to thoroughly flush out what he had cleared. He waited the extra time while the water boiled just to make sure I it would all go well and that the drain was truly cleared. All of this for just $69! The other plumber I called gave me a 'discount' price of $300. If you have a plumbing problem, don't mess around with any other company. Go straight to Home Leak and Drain! You won't be disappointed!

my water pressure regulator busted, Omar was quick to reply my request for service, gave me quote on a few options, and the crew showed up promptly to fix the problem. Jose was great, courteous and detailed, and explained to me what he was doing every step of way. Omar helpfully explained some questions we have on our plumbing system too. Jose had to re-pipe to fit the new regulator in, took more time than quoted, but charged me the same. it was great working with them.

Josue and Carlos came out to unclog our guest bathroom toilet and did so quickly and without any issue. I mentioned that the temperature in the shower was very low and they offered to check it out since they were already here. I was quoted by a different plumber as the shower regulator job costing around $2000. They took care of it for about $15 on top of the very reasonable cost for toilet. As the valve did not have to be replaced, just adjusted, their honesty and knowledge saved me money and time. Would recommend 10 out of 10!

We sent out a few requests to have our kitchen drain checked as we have been smelling mold and mildew even after countless cleaning efforts. Omar sent a quick response saying they could come out next day and check our system out at no charge! Jose showed up on time and checked out the pipes under the sink. After their diagnosis they showed us how the pipes were installed incorrectly so water just sat in the pipe without clearing out causing mildew and mold to set in the pipe. They showed us exactly what they would do to fix it. After we gave the okay, Jose had the job done in a couple hours for a fair price. We really appreciate their thoroughness and quick response. I called out 3 other plumbers for a complex main drain replacement/repair problem and got BS and even wrong diagnosis. I wish I had called Omar first. His solution and diagnosis was spot on and he was hired on the spot for a $9000 job. I live 90 miles away and felt comfortable with these guys, my tenant who works in city sewer said they did a great job.
What a great experience with this company. Had them come out to my property and install a new box for the drain and hose bibs in the laundry room. Also installed new shut off valves. I'm completely satisfied with the work and everything seems to be working in order. Thanks Omar for taking care of business. Would highly recommend to family and friends.

Omar and his crew are great. I had a leak coming from my concrete slab, and after calling them out to dig down and see what was causing it, it turns out that the pipes were just disintegrating into nothing and specifically the p - trap had a hole in it that lead to the leaks happening when and how they did. Great service, the guy's who did the job for me all worked super hard, and the job looks impeccable. Definitely the plumbing company I'll be calling from now on when I have serious troubles!
All the other reviews sound so wonderful, I am sorry I did not get a chance to try Home Leak and Drain Solutions. Omar scheduled appointments twice with us and he was not able to keep either one. So I found someone else.
If you need quality, on time, honest, and competitive prices you need to hire Home Leak and drain solutions. Detected a hot water slab leak in my laundry room. They quickly turned off the water in my water heater and stop the leak. They came back and jacked hammered my floor and opened my wall. Jonathan worked on it and fixed the wall and the floor. Omar is a great guy that is honest in the estimate and final bill. Came back to check the meter and sent someone else to move my washing machine in a place very tight to move around. I really appreciate it very much the quality of work, the honesty, the polite, and fun demeanor of all the guys that came in to do the work. They all practiced social distancing and wore masks due to COVID-19. They take your problem seriously and they respond to your messages right away. True professionals.
Omar did extensive work for our rental home. He removed cast iron pipes and replaced with new pipes. Also worked on bathroom and shower and bath faucets. He is very responsive to our calls, quotes are reasonable, work is efficient and high quality. He shows up on time and work is scheduled and finished in a timely manner. Quoted me $49.0 to unclogged air gap for dish washer. I thought it was too good to be true. But, I decided to take a chance and hoping this business just wants to build long term business since they are new on Yelp. When Omar (the owner) came, he told me that the air gap has to be replaced and charged me $165. Since I don't want to look for another plumber or do it another time, I just used him. I realized afterward I should have gone with another plumbers from yelp. Looking at other quotes again, other plumbers quoted me for cheaper at around $110-120 for air gap replacement.
Update:
Omar kept his words and refunded me the difference. He honored his price match policy.

I do not write reviews because most companies do not meet my expectations. Omar was great, he was professional and prompt replies. When I requested a quote, response was right away. He came the next day to take a look to give proper options and estimate. Even sent a plumber on a holiday to install 3 toilets with hose and valves redone and he did a very clean, fast, and professional job. Price was reasonable and compared to other 5 companies I spoke to, it was the cheapest and they could not compete the prices with them. Other companies guaranteed quality but home leaks and drain solution quality was on point and cheap so I definitely recommend to utilize them. Dont just take my word for it and have them give you their opinion and estimate and see if you like them for yourselves.
We needed a toilet removed and new one installed. They were able to make it our place same day! They provided the toilet, installed it, and disposed of the old one. They did great work and were friendly and efficient. Made payment easy as well...great experience!

I've had my share of bad experiences with plumbers so when he arrived I was very nervous and anxious. I had an emergency call at 7pm and within 30 mins of my initial message someone was at my door. This meant the world to me considering my husband is currently deployed and I've had a slew of misfortune since he has been away. The plumber that arrived was extremely professional, friendly, clean and a great communicator. I felt like he was in the struggle with me and he was very attentive to detail. Another important thing to me was I asked for him to message me when he arrived which he did so I could open the door before he could knock since I had a sleeping baby in the house, very considerate. Not only will I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a plumber but I won't use any other plumbers again! The peace of mind of service like this is priceless. As far as prices go he was very reasonable as well! By far the best quote I received and even if he wasn't his service would be worth the extra bucks. Save yourself stress and just call these guys!!
I noticed the ground was wet in my front yard about a 2 x 4 feet area, so contacted places to come out and eval. I contact 3 companies and the only company able to come out the same day on Saturday was Home Leak and Drain Solutions. Omar came to the house, he was friendly and professional from beginning to end. He stated it would be $200 for leak detection and then if we chose to have the work through his company, that price would be credited to the total repair. He found the source of the leak. He stated he would have to tear up a small area grass, they could do it that evening, so would be around 6 or 7 PM. They would charge $1875 and take 4-6 hours. I expressed my concern for the high price and he stated other companies would charge at least $3000. My fiancé who has a property up north stated maybe her plumber (licensed and insured) would give feedback on the price estimate, but not be able to do the job as she believed he did not service this area. We contacted her plumber and he stated the quote was very high, that he would do it for $1000 and he would do it since my fiancé is already a client. He gave some hypotheses of why Home Leak and Drain was quoting such a high price, but as I cannot verify his hypotheses, I will not go into it here. He came out Sunday morning and completed the project in about 2 hours. Since it did not take as long he thought, he charged $675. Perhaps Home Leak and Drain may have charged me less as well, but my intuition tells me that is highly unlikely. Thus Home Leak and Detection were prompt, courtesy, professional, but I think they were willing to fix immediately and work into the evening was there attempt to not have me get other estimates and take advantage of an uninformed consumer. Moral of the story, ALWAYS GET MORE THAN ONE ESTIMATE.
The ice maker valve behind the refrigerator was not closing due to which the refrigerator could not be replaced. Omar responded within a few minutes with an estimate. Omar and Jonathan came out and assessed the repair to be done on the same day.
What I liked is the fact that Omar had a tiered approach to solve the issue and explained all my options upfront. The total amount was what we discussed and agreed upon online.

I was so overwhelmed With all the information insurance information cabinetry drywall water leaks mold everything.
Not knowing anything about construction, I was very scared to move forward.

In 2day a bathroom and a kitchen had leaks mold.

They removed the old and left my house extremely clean let alone taking care of all the drying needs.

Omar and his awesome team just finished up a complete and total repiping of our house (under the house, the laundry in the garage, the main line out to the street, and installed a new water heater). This was a huge job and his team handled it exceptionally. They are hard workers and have integrity taking pride in their work. They stayed late to finish things, came out extra days, answered any questions or concerns I had, and were always super friendly and respectful. As you can imagine, this was also a very expensive job, but Omar gave us the best price by far out of 4 different companies. One of the quotes I received was more than double, which is completely obsured and dishonest. I truly appreciated Omar being fair with me about the pricing and just being a good human being in general. He didn't try to sell me or rip me off. Wow, this will be an easy review to write! Late Saturday night I had a toilet leaking, and tub filling up during a shower. I didn't want to call a plumber on a Sunday cause they're more expensive. But, my son started looking for plumbers to come on Monday. He sent for a quote from Home Leak & Drain, and heard back within minutes. Omar called my son first thing Monday morning, and before noon, he was a my door, with a smile on his face, pleasant attitude, and wanted to know where the problem was. Omar was on it immediately. He ran some tests, and had the problem under control. Because of the water damage, he called a company that could take over after his job was done. Omar was thorough, informative, and knowledgeable. All with a smile, and great sense of humor. He was patient with my dumb questions. He showed me what the problem was, and how he would take care of it. I HIGHLY recommend HL&DS. I'm sure all of their employees are excellent, but if you're lucky enough to get Omar...SCORE! Oh, and their rates are good too!
They came out to unclog a drain at a time that worked for us. After the first try there was something still blocking the drain. They came back out later that day to video the pipe at no extra cost. They found the issue and were able to get the drain unclogged! They were professional and did not try to add extra charges. They kept us informed throughout the process and were able to answer any questions
Saturday evening after coming home from a long day of work, I discovered our outside main sewer line was backing up. I immediately resorted to yelp and sent a quote request to 4 companies. Omar from Home leak and drain solutions was the first to reply. Omar quoted me a very reasonable price to snake the drain, unfortunately he was not able to come out the same evening as I was calling late that afternoon, however Omar offered to come and take care of my issue early the next morning, which was a Sunday (Sunday they are closed and to top it off it was raining) Come Sunday Omar arrived and went straight to work on clearing the drain, he even used a camera to look in and tell me exactly what was going on inside the pipe. I've had two experiences with this team. Omar was the first one to show up on location on both occasions. My first experience involved his team addressing a laundry room water source leak. As soon as Omar looked at the issue, he had one of his team members come and address the issue on the same day. After this experience I remembered their professionalism and, importantly when it comes to water issues, their speedy ability to come out on-site. When it came time for me to handle some shower faucet replacements, I reached out to Omar. Not only did he have a day scheduled for me immediately, he also provided some education on the faucets and brands I was looking at. Jose was the one that came out the day to do the work. I'm glad he did because the job was more involved than I would have been able to handle on my own. Jose was kind enough to pull me in and show me when he did some of the replacement steps, which I appreciated in case I ever needed to make changes in the future. There aren't enough stars to accurately reflect the exceptional service Omar and his company provided. My project was to replace an aging electric tank water heater and I sent out quote requests to numerous companies using Yelp's automated quote request tool. Most companies responded with vague template responses which basically said I needed to call to get a quote (so much for automating the process). I called a handful of them and got the runaround in all sorts of different ways. I'm fairly DIY-capable so I'm able to sniff out BS pretty quickly. Omar was the only one to send me an honest response and from there we corresponded back and forth on Yelp and via phone/text. He arrived exactly when he said he would and charged me exactly what he said he would. His attitude was just as excellent as the service he provided. I will only call Omar for all my plumbing project needs going forward and I highly recommend him for yours as well.
