I have a 12 yr old tankless water heater that started leaking so I called Plumbing Tree and they were able to send someone out pretty fast. Angel showed up and figured out that the heat exchanger was leaking. Luckily, the exchanger was still under warranty for replacement, so the part was ordered and showed up in a couple of days. Angel installed the new part but error codes kept coming up and it turned out another part was bad as well, so it was ordered along with new gaskets and filters.

Angel spent a lot of time diagnosing and fixing all the issues at a reasonable cost, especially when compared to a new tankless heater.

I found Plumbing Tree and Angel to be very professional, polite, conscientious, thorough and I would not hesitate to recommend them for any plumbing issues you may have.

We had flooring people re-doing our bathroom and they requested a plumber to uninstall/reinstall the toilet so I called Plumbing Tree - I had used Plumbing Tree in the past when they previously had per hour pricing and knew them to be of good value.

The positives - they were available the day I needed them and the tech was friendly and knowledgeable, but the entirety of the experience really upset me.

The job was to pull the toilet - long enough to install the floor and then - re-install the toilet. While we were waiting, maybe change out a few outdoor hose bibs.

To start, the technician came back with a proposal to change out our water regulator plus other upgrades (like a new toilet) that cost over $2,000. He might have been right that those could have been updated, but that wasn't what he was brought here to do and it had the same feeling as an oil change shop wanting to charge $200 to change a $20 air filter.

The quoted price for the toilet uninstall/reinstall was over $400 and each hose bib was about $200! I wasn't thrilled, but I had other contractors waiting and Plumbing Tree already had a $80 charge to just come out. So we nixed the outdoor bibs and I gave the go-ahead for the toilet.

On uninstalling the toilet, we found that the toilet flange was too low and the previous owners fixed the problem by stacking a couple was rings on top of each other. Obviously this was not going to work - but to fix the toilet flange alone was over $800. I needed the flooring complete to move back into my house so I approved it.

Long story short, I'm in $1,247 on this toilet project that took maybe 2.5 hours to complete. So we're talking maybe $500/hr. In fairness to Plumbing Tree, they alerted me that their pricing structure had changed to a per job/item, but wow - I still can't comprehend how this project should have had this price tag.

Very expensive (the most of any quote I got) but quality is probably good, only time will tell. Would have been maybe four stars except that the tech sold me on a preferred customer program for $10/mo. Turns out there is not a lot of value in it since I still have to pay for visits and there are no free services with it, so I called to cancel it. The person who called back was very aggressive and says there is an early cancellation fee and threatened collection action if I cancelled early. What is this a gym membership? Pretty sus, greedy behavior on the company's part.

Plumbing Tree has been my go to plumbing company for several years. Once again, I needed a repair. This time it was a clogged kitchen sink drain. I took it apart myself and thought I had it fixed as it was then draining perfectly. However, that night after dinner, it was apparent that I had failed. I called Miguel and he scheduled a tech to come out the next day. Fernando arrived and was friendly, fast and efficient. He had a bit of trouble getting the clogged drain cleared (which made me feel better about my failed attempt) but was successful quickly enough. He also rebuilt (with my approval) the under sink drain pipes to correct a minor problem and to make it easier to service in the future. As always, Plumbing Tree came through for me with flying colors.

If you want professional work done right, call Plumbing Tree. Gilbert came out and was very professional. He was able to inspect everything wrong with the plumbing on the unit I was working on, and price it out so you can choose what work you want done. Now they aren't the cheapest, but I believe they are the best service overall in my opinion. If want the best, you pay for it. And you definitely get good honest work with Plumbing Tree. I will call them for all my plumbing needs. Thanks Plumbing Tree!

I had a technician come to our condo downtown and completely tried to sell me on additional services for a slow drain snake. Once I told the technician I was only interested in a simple snake job he quoted me $479 + $134 for some additional service fee. I told him their company was taking advantage of people with predatory pricing levels. I reluctantly paid the $79 service fee and told them I wouldn't do business with them or recommend this company. I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. Bad business practices by this company

I don't know who's giving them all the five star reviews. I just had them come out to snake a shower drain. They informed me that there would be a $79 service fee to show up, which would be absorbed in the actual service. No problem. They the quoted me $449 to snake the drain, a fifteen minute job. I threw the guy out, and they still had the balls to charge me the $79. Never, ever do business with these people.

BTW, we had the same company do the same job ten years ago, and they charged about $100. You can't tell me prices have gone up by a factor of 4-1/2.

Additional, after reading their diatribe justifying insanity. Went to Home Depot, bought a plastic snake for $2.99, and pulled the hair out in about five minutes. Wish I hadn't been lazy and had started there. Highly recommend anyone else do the same. Whatever you do, don't call these guys.

Tony came on time and clearly explained the work that needed to be done. After the explanations, we agreed on what work to complete and he did it directly, cleaned up after himself and then coordinated the additional parts to be ordered.

I reached out to this plumber because they had done such a good job back in March 2021. There have been no issues with that sink since the repair. Working with Miguel in the office both times was clear and easy.

We had Plumbing Tree take care of our busted water heater back in October, '21. We got a few different quotes and, even though they charged a service fee to come out and give the quote, theirs was the best. The gents who did the work were top notch in professionalism.

Fast forward to this week, I've been having trouble with our sewer drain. It kept getting clogged. I gave Plumbing Tree a call and the sent out Mickey right away, who was also the guy who helped us out with the water heater. He took a look at the problem, snaked the drain and got it working again. He took a video recording of all my sewer lines and it turns out the root cause of the issue was a busted pipe. I'm sure I'll stick with Mickey and Plumbing Tree to handle fixing that, too. I'm very happy with this company.

I called this company to replace a warm water gadget in a bathtub when cold water was still working, they came up with almost $7000 estimate for many made up issues, they asked for $1500 to change the warm water gadget. It is insane, money does not grow on a tree for me. I would ever never call them even if they are the only plumbing service in San Diego.

Our garbage disposal broke off the drain in our kitchen. Plumbing Tree came over and immediately wanted to do a whole house assessment. They quoted almost $700 to replace the garbage disposal!!!! I went over to A plumbing supply store but Home Depot would've been fine and bought an insinkerator which is a very big brand and apparently very good for $140. Took me 10 minutes to install. The guy said it would take him an hour and a half. Then he went on to quote $450 to replace two little water valves underneath the sink from an old style to a new valve style that you can buy for $10 at Home Depot. You just screw them on. He also wanted to sell us a new water heater. We paid him his $79 charge for coming come out and sent him on his way.

The team at Plumbing Tree was professional from the start. We needed to replace an old water heater and we had lots of questions. The team was very easy to work with over the phone.

Upon arrival (he was on time) the technician Alan was thorough with explaining the options with us along with a few basic recommendations. He was able to provide me 4 quotes for various options within minutes. He also provided information on payment options (interest free option) should we need it.

I had a few extra questions for the management team so we were able to reach a manager immediately on the phone to address a few particular details for our job. They couldn't have been more professional.

Alan (the technician) was able to install our water heater, ran all of the diagnostics, and made sure we were up to code.

This company is amazing! From the beginning and until the end! My plumber was Gilbert and I definitely would recommend him to all my family and friends! Super amazing guy. With a positive attitude and very knowledgeable! This company is great at communicating and fixing any plumbing situation.

Come to find out we had old cast iron in our home and was causing everything to backup and Gilbert digged and digged and replace all our leftover cast iron and even fix our kitchen sink water pressure! It took 3 days but he was swift and super great at putting everything back.

The only reason I gave 4 stars was because when I called the guy on the phone said it would be $75 fee to get our drained unclogged but come to find out it was $480 to snake plus the $75 fee. They waived the fee for the inconvenience but yikes. We were very surprise and my husband was super upset at me for not knowing. But I'm glad this company snaked it properly and my Airbnb guest were able to use the bathrooms again!

Other than that! I would always recommend this company! They are very professional & reliable! Thanks Gilbert you are the best!!!

What was not explained was would say overall service was great. Mickey was very informative and respectful. He was able to walk through the house to look at other plumbing issues and give diagnostics of what needs to be fixed. The job was worked on was a Moen cartridge being stuck and was not able to be removed.

So the 3 star review was not on the work being done. If there was a break out of different items, service would of been a 5 star.

The 2 stars that was taken off was due to pricing. $150 for diagnostics to come out to look at it was ok with me. And if we decided to do the work, $150 was going towards that repair. And if not, then $150 was going to be paid for the them coming out.

What was not explained was 1) that charges was done on a set price. Each tiered of what was worked on was a set price. And 2) Freddy did not explain that Saturdays there was a 1.5 time charge. (Which if you did check the website first, it was on there) But it was a call. 3) The time that was said kept on pushing back. Was suppose to arrive between 4pm and 5pm, which was then around 6:10pm. (Updates from Freddie was helpful, but was without water for those many hours).

So biggest thing for this project was really the cost.

Again. Service was great. Price was on the pricier side.

*I get it, everyone is being affected by inflation. Which on the consumer end it also sucks. Which I also feel for the vendor end.

Plumbing Tree was super professional and was able to schedule routine work for the very next day. Courtesy call 20 minutes before the plumber arrived was spot on.

Angel was the plumber out to help us, and he worked harder and better than any professional help we've gotten so far. Problem solving, patience, a great attitude, he worked tirelessly to solve all the problems with our leaking, overly complicated, poorly constructed Amazon-purchased Reverse Osmosis under-sink filter. Despite it leaking (due to its own design) repeatedly for 3 hours, Angel stuck with the project, and with his plumbing knowledge and the wealth of equipment available in the Plumbing Tree work vehicle, solved all problems thrown his way.

I can't speak highly enough of Angel's persistence and patience. He handled himself incredibly well, and despite not taking a break (or eating!) for 7+ hours, was always kind and cordial the whole day long.

I will not be going anywhere else for my plumbing needs. In my incredibly frustrating experience with lackluster contractors, Angel at Plumbing Tree towers above the rest.

Plumbing Tree gets a 5 star rating only because I cannot give them a 10 star rating. Miguel set up the appointment and called a few times because his plumber was able to get to me sooner then the appointed time. That was really appreciated since I was driving 2 hours to get to the location.
Gilbert was Fantastic!!
He was very thorough and clean. He explained what he was going to do and why. He was also very articulate with his answers and clean with his workmanship. Gilbert rebuilt the entire kitchensink plumbing and cleaned out the pipes in under 2 hours! He gave us tips on how to keep our drains cleaned and even recommended a few electricians for some other projects we have.

Closed escrow on a property a couple of days prior. Had not even made contact with all tenants, before first plumbing issue. 12/23 got a call about no hot water. Plumbing tree was able to come out, but couldn't access the downstairs backyard, where hot water heaters were located, so they could not fix the problem. Once I got in touch with downstairs tenant, they came back out and promptly fixed the issue.

Found in leak underneath my kitchen sink. I called Friday late afternoon and was able to get a tech to come over on Saturday in the morning. Be prepared to be charged an estimate fee when they come out to give you a ridiculous cost to fix your plumbing needs. I declined their service only for the amount they wanted to charge me. The salesman apologized endlessly and said it was this cost because of their new system and he couldn't offer anything lower. Then he called me an hour or so later to offer me financing terms!! What a joke, I refused this company because of their absurd cost NOT because I didn't have the money. I ended up with another company who charged half of their estimate, gave me a free estimate and did a fantastic job.

I can't speak highly enough about this fantastic operation. It is clear to me that the professionalism displayed by their staff and technicians is intentional, a sign of good leadership at the top and it works it's way down. After calling around on a Saturday (on behalf of a client) for an emergency leak situation, I landed on plumbing tree (it's hard to miss tons of great reviews they have). The owner Freddy answered the phone and got my client scheduled. Easy to communicate with, he gave me the rundown on how they operate and what I could expect. I contacted the company for a quote on a bathtub installation. Of course, like most others they wanted to come and do an onsite quote and refused to provide any kind of pricing information over the phone. Very annoying because it's a simple straightforward project, but OK. Then they proceed to tell me they have to actually charge a fee to give a quote. So they make money off of just going around quoting people? No, they're not the only business doing this, but this is a ridiculous way to do business. Very frustrating.

For them to tell me how much it would cost. They could have told me over the phone and saved me a 75.00 fee. Bad business.

I needed a quality plumber at a competitive price and i searched yelp and i found these guys. A+. Great service and quality work. Had a bathroom sink that was clogged and needed my shower tub re-caulked and Plumbing Tree did a great job. Spoke to Miguel on the phone and he was upfront on cost and was able to send out a plumber in a timely fashion. Plumber was on time and professional and finished job in a little under 2 hours. Caleed Miguel a week later to see if he could have a plumber re-check the work only because i noticed a very small hairline crease in the caulking. Turned out to be nothing but Miguel sent out a plumber (Mickey) at NO cost to me. Mickey showed up on time and examined the issue and assured me the hairline crease was normal and nothing to be concerned about. Thanks to Plumbing Tree and specifically Miguel and Mickey. I will be calling you guys for my future plumbing needs.

BLUF: They will trap you with a estimate fee that is designed to convince you to accept a ridiculous price and then they will try to up sell you on a billion little extras.

So now for the longer review: So I had a bathroom sink that wasn't draining. Probably a bunch of hair, soap scum and whatnot. Not a complicated job but one I couldn't do as I lacked a professional snake. I knew exactly the problem so I just needed someone with the tools to get at it. I hoped I could get an estimate on the phone but was disappointed that they wouldn't do it. They said that they would come out that day to take a look but they would have an estimate fee of $75 to diagnose the problem. But because they are a nice plumbing company they would waive the estimate/diagnosis fee if I used them for the repair. Obviously they couldn't (or wouldn't) give me any idea what that cost would be I'd just have to decide once they were there and then choose. So here is the trap, they know most people won't want to pay $75 for nothing and so they can give you a crazy price once they are there and you will probably pay it rather than lose the money in the hopes of getting a better deal elsewhere. I managed to talk them down to $35 for the fee by agreeing to hear a subscription service that they are offering later (yeah a subscription service for your plumbing... In case you bought a house with pipes made out of play-dough or simply can't find anything on Netflix to watch). Anyway I agree to the reduced estimate fee and they come out.

First before they even look at the drain they try to up sell me on a bunch of things I never asked about. They check my water pressure (and shockingly tell me it's too high but they can fix that) then they tell me about this enzyme thing that they are selling, before they finally look at what I brought them there for. Not surprisingly they tell me it will be $500 to snake the pipe or I can pay the walk away (sorry estimate/diagnosis) fee. I was very happy with Plumbing Tree until I saw the finished product. We needed to replace the water heater in our guesthouse. Plumbing Tree was very responsive and provided a competitive quote. They showed up when they said they would to provide the quote and the replacement. Since the replacement involved removing a stacked washer and dryer from an outdoor closet (the water heater was mounted behind the washer/dryer) I was told everything would be put back as it was prior to the installation and they would sweep out accumulated debris behind the washer/dryer prior to putting it back.

Since I had to leave town prior to the installation being complete I was disappointed to find upon my return that the washer/dryer had not been put back into the closet completely and the debris behind it was still there.

I would have rated Plumbing Tree five stars had it not been for this deficiency.

Wow! Getting an appointment scheduled with Miguel was so easy. He knew all the questions to ask and he even looked at the picture I sent him concerning my problem. Because I am not a plumber I hired them. The feel I had after getting off the phone with Miguel was the feeling of confidence knowing I will be taken care of.
On the day of service, Luis came. He was clean, professional and had all of his Covid-19 PPE available. He assessed my problem which happened to be a leak in the copper pipe attached to my water heater.
Within an hour, it was taken care of. I honestly thought the price was very fair. They are definitely not the cheapest but they are worth every penny.
I've hired CHEAP contractors before and I end up paying for their CHEAP service.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND - We are in the process of selling our house and needed some multiple issues resolved/fixed ASAP. We reached out and called Freddy, sent him the buyers wish list of fixes/repairs and also our inspection report. He reviewed it, provided details of what he recommends happens, and scheduled a date for them to come out.

As a homeowner trying to sell your property, not only did I have tons of questions, but my biggest fear is the honesty aspect of any service coming out (plumber, electrician, termite, etc...). With Freddy he is honest, patient and answered my questions thoroughly. And as a brother in Christ I had full faith he was taking care of us with the cost and service.

The day of Gilbert, Freddy's Lead Plumber, came out and serviced us. Gilbert had a lot of work ahead of him. He replaced our water heater, installed a sediment trap, replaced the temperature relieve vale, serviced our furnace gas line and replaced the drip leg, evaluated our sump pump and checked our pressure regulator to ensure we met code.

Freddy and Gilbert are both very professional, high attention to detail, honest and FAST. I highly recommend them. I plan on calling them to assist with walk throughs when we look at our next property. Thank you guys for all your help.

Exceptional customer service!
During renovations we took two toilets out, but couldn't seem to get them back on. I called two places before Plumbing tree. The first never got back to me, even after I called them a second time. The second place called back relatively quick but gave me a quote over the phone that seemed excessive.
By the time I called Plumbing tree I was already slightly perturbed by the process. My short tone was met with warmth. Freddy calmly talked me through their process and asked if I could send him pictures so they could give me an accurate quote. Immediately after I sent the photos Freddy called me back and very thoroughly explained the best and worst case scenarios and their pricing. They planned to come out the next morning (it was 7:30pm at this time). I called early the next day to reschedule to the following day and they were very accommodating.
The guy came when planned, with a relaxed vibe. Did a great job, cleaned up nice and was on his way quickly. It even came in a little under what I was expecting. Amazing experience on all fronts. I wouldn't dare shop around for anything plumbing related in the future.

I noticed I had no hot water in my house and could not get the pilot light in my water heater to stay lit. I called Plumbing Tree and spoke to Freddy initially who was great in terms of explaining the options. He then put me through to Miguel to schedule an appointment within 3 hours of my original call.

Important to note this is during a COVID19 quarantine so I'm thankful they were working, willing, and able. Not only that but Angel (who showed up) was taking safety precautions by wearing a mask, gloves, and booties for his sake and ours.

Angel was able to resolve the immediate issue while telling me what the long term fix would be. No pressure, no up sell, just an honest explanation of our options.

Plumbing Tree really helped us out in a pinch and lived up to the recommendations I had received from everyone else outside of Yelp. Def give them a call for your plumbing needs.

Our water heater started leaking and living in condos our biggest fear was leaking into our neighbors unit. So immediately we started calling around, Freddy was the one who answered my call on Sunday and immediately started asking questions to see what we could do. He asked me very detailed questions and even asked me to take pictures to send to him so he knew what he was dealing with. The next day, they sent me a picture of the plumber who was going to come, gave me a time frame of when he was going to be arriving. As usual, Plumbing Tree delivered today with all of my plumbing needs and Mickey was the star plumber who took care of all of my issues. He patiently documented all of my plumbing issues, gave me estimates on everything and guided me to separate the repairs to what needed to be done today versus what needed to be done in the near future. Mickey handled a new bath faucet installation like a true professional with the much needed strength, considering that the old faucet was in a poor shape and stubbornly deteriorated on to my bathroom sink. If your in need of a great plumber ask for Fernando. Very nice young man that did a great job replacing a broken galvanized pipe to copper for us. I called on a Monday, when my usual plumber said he was booked 2 weeks out and they were out the next morning. HIRE THEM!!!! I have had the honor of having Plumbing Tree do jobs for me at my rental condo and my personal home. They are honest and hardworking. I have worked with many of their technicians (Angel, Freddy(owner), and Gilbert) I've mostly worked with Gilbert, who is a great guy and I often request him, but for the past 3 days we got to work with Jared T. This guy is a workhorse. He worked from morning to night 3 days straight replacing the cast iron in a tiny crawl space under my house. He never complained and left my house tidy every day he left. They may not be the cheapest, nor are they the most expensive, but you get what you pay for and these guys are worth their weight in gold. You won't be disappointed.

The toughest parts about finding a plumber, or any help around the house really, are reliability, proper expectations and communication.

We had a gas leak reported on a rental property. Had the pleasure of speaking with Freddy who scheduled one of his guys to come out. Angel came out and was able to diagnose the issue. Unfortunately, two of the units had corroded underground gas lines. I have used Plumbing Tree before, on another rental so I was confident they could fix the issue. Quick and easy! My plumber was Gilbert. He was amazingly fast! So fast, that he even arrived super early from finishing the prior job quickly. lol I really appreciated his help and getting my faucet replaced. Originally my faucet head broke off and I bought a new faucet to replace it. When I went under to shut off the water, I discovered the hot water angle stop didn't shut off. The cold water shut off worked fine. I needed to have a professional to come out to my condo to do it all, since my condo was converted from an apartment and the main shut off is located on the roof. I didn't have a ladder to access it. I was super worried and in the middle of moving out, so I didn't need the added stress. When I reached out to Plumbing Tree on Yelp, they were quick to respond. Thankfully I was able to set up an appointment as soon as possible. I got the call on Monday morning to confirm my appointment and Gilbert arrived early for the job. It took less than an hour and a half to replace both the hot water & cold water plastic angle stops and the faucet. Like I said before, the cold water angle stop worked fine and shut off the water fine, but had a plastic knob. I rather fix both at the same time with metal parts that would last longer. End result... everying is working so much better and I have a more ease of mind that this will last longer! Thank you so much Plumbing Tree! There proof is in the pictures.

They always quote very reasonable prices by phone, though they charge a flat rate for the first hour of work. I'm unsure if this means they cannot provide free quotes on site. We had initially just agreed to a quick fix for a leak, and a professional opinion about a larger plumbing issue. They were upfront and honest about pricing for each repair service, had enough schedule flexibility and came prepared to take on more work than we had initially planned for. David did a great job installing my sink and dishwasher. My sink did not have an air gap, so it was not compatible with my dishwasher, and every other plumber I called said the job was impossible, but when I called Plumbing Tree, they said it would be no problem. David drilled an air gap into the sink and made it work. So happy to have my kitchen back now!

Update: Took a few stars off. So here's the story: I wrote a check to cover costs because it's an extra fee to pay with a card, and I asked David to let me know before it would be cashed because he made it sound like it wasn't going to happen right away, and it was a large expense, so I wanted to make sure I knew when it'd be cashed. David assured me he understood completely about wanting to be notified before a large transaction was posted to my account, and he would make sure it happened. There must have been some sort of miscommunication because two weeks later, they cashed the check without warning me.

I did not have the money available in my account at that time, so the bank charged me a 30 dollar overdraft fee, and Plumbing Tree charged me a 30 dollar fee as well. They also were going to charge a fee of two percent of the total cost to let me pay using my debit card. They kindly waived it, but not the other fees. Just a little frustrating how it ended up, so took a few stars off.

Update concerning business response:

The response from the plumber below is disingenuous because I did not ask for a two-week extension, I just asked to be notified when the check would be cashed, so I would not be surprised. They make it sound like they were being nice by waiting two weeks to cash the check, but it actually would have been better for me if they'd done it right away because I had the money in my account at the time the sink was repaired...I did not have it at the time the check was cashed because it was a large expense that I was not expecting so late after having the service done, though I know I should've been more careful balancing my check book. I was reassured by the plumber that I would be notified before the check cashed, but I was not.

The Plumbing Tree has the hook up, literally! They are honest and hard workers

We hired Freddy and his band of merry men [Alex, Jamie, Gilbert, Alan, Carlos, and help] after we realized we would not be able to install a washer/dryer hookups on our own. We needed professional help.

Turns out we needed more help than we thought. Our sewage line started to drip and we hired them before it became a larger issue.

My husband and I just bought our 1st home May of 2018 and needless to say it needs a LOT of work.

We spoke to a couple of different plumbers but after building a rapport with Freddy, we felt that he would not steer us wrong.

We contracted the plumbing tree for a slew of many different things [I am literally paraphrasing my quote]:
1.) A full replacement of the sewage line, from old corroded cast iron to ABS Plastic, throughout the house and in the walls. (Our plumbing made NO sense. It was all zigzagged, wasting lots of water.)
2.) Re-configure the water main (lots of pressure, no emergency shut off)
3. Washer/dryer hook ups and all that that entails (gas, copper pipes, lots of plastic pipes.) Our house came with a tiny laundry closet that would not fit any model of stackable w/d. We decided to relocate it to an outside shed.

Work began Nov 26th. I received a call from the Operations Manager Nelly, 30 mins before their arrival to let me know they are their way.

Once the first trucks arrived with Alex and Gilbert, they went straight to work.

I can't tell you exactly how and what was happening, but they were doing their thing.

Everyone took turns digging in front of my house to correct the water main. It started off as a small hole, than became bigger as the main sewage line was going to be redirected, because of the layout of our foundation.

While someone was digging, another guy (I want to say Gilbert) was already taking out and replacing the gas line. (The original gas and water plumbing was a joke.)

And while that was happening Jamie was removing the existing washer/ dryer connections from the laundry closet.

They came in and took names! Of course the water and gas was turned off while they worked, but they made sure that it was at least temporarily connected at the end of each day.

I want to say my house gave a fight and was determined to keep its guts and really made these guys work.

They were at the house Mon(11/26) -Thurs (11/29) and back on Saturday(12/1). Working as early as 9am to as late as 6- 7pm. It even rained like crazy hard on Thursday and these guys just put up canopies to keep out most of the rain and kept working.

At one point there were 4 Plumbing Tree services trucks here. That must mean it was all hands on deck!

They did great work, I can already hear, feel and see an improvement. This was our first major work on the house and it feels weird to say I'm proud/glad of our decision to have the Plumbing Tree hook us up.

I have a lot of pictures of the progress and the completed work and regrettably no pictures of before, but you can imagine.

To say it simply, they do good work and all to code.

... I forgot to say...

Example of honest:
- Freddy let me know if he recommended any additional work:
-- The kitchen had old pipes too. - we went with that suggestion.
-- The water heater pipes weren't right - that needed to be corrected.
-- The kitchen sink didn't have a vent. (That allows water to drain better from my understanding. We decided not to do that just now. It would be very invasive and expensive.)
-- The 2nd bathroom had an old pipe between 2 slats of wood that is the foundation of the house. Freddy offered to make the correction while they were here and give me a quote, but suggested that since the pipe is still in good condition, to give them a call when we remodel as it would be way easier or if we start to run into any problems.
-Freddy checked out the remaining pipes to the street (snake camera scope?) and gave us an honest, informed opinion of if and when we will need to get that taken care of and around how much it would cost. (It doesn't need to be now, but could wait 3-6 months. Recommends in 3 month to hire them to Jetter (think water pick) the clay pipes (too delicate for normal snake), then yearly maintenance, to avoid having to correct the rest of the pipe line which would be way more expensive.

I plan on using the Plumbing Tree for any future plumbing needs and recommending them to ANY one that is on the look out for a plumber.

I needed to install a new sink and replace my valves and pipes. The sink I purchased was larger than my original sink, so they had to cut some of the granite off. I had a leak in my bathroom and they fixed it right away! Professional and fast! And clean! They even have those booties so they dont make a mess inside your home. They charge $175 for the first hour... and then $40 something dollars for every 15 min extension they do. And they did inform me about this so i was very well aware. But..... I still just felt like the plumber was lagging and stretching his time so that they can charge me more. But overall, i was still satisfied because i was really desperate for this leak to get fixed.

Plumbing tree was recommended by a friend and we were very happy to have called them. We used them for scoping our sewer line when we purchased our house, then to do some follow up work installing a clean out and rescaling the pipes, and then finally had them install a tankless water heater in our home. We are very happy with the service provided by Plumbing Tree. Jamie arrived as scheduled and was courteous and got right to work. He immediately put protective covering over his shoes to protect the carpeting and then evaluated the problem. Our very old toilet was clogged and he was able to determine it was just the toilet and not the sewer line. He inspected the drain, checked the water pressure and replaced the supply valve and then replaced the toilet with what we had already purchased on our own. He was thorough and efficient, polite and neatly dressed and was a pleasure to have in our home. We will certainly call upon Plumbing Tree in the future for our plumbing needs.

I have used these folks several times, and have always been impressed. They set appointment windows, and keep them! The prices are fair (not cheap), the costs are explained carefully, choices are left to the customer, and everything is explained upfront. Also, they really stand behind their work.

I knew I had chosen the right company when there was a problem. The details aren't interesting, but I can say they came through beyond any of my expectations. The owner himself showed up to do dirty work as long as it took to correct what turned out to be a small issue. Even though it turned out to be small, they took the problem very seriously until it was completely resolved

I've used their services twice now and these guys do an amazing job!

I was recommended by my home inspector to get a few things checked out plumbing-wise. I had a fast closing date so when I called Plumbing Tree I was very satisfied when they were able to send a plumber out within a few hours. Alex came out and was very knowledgeable and informative with everything he was inspecting. He also made the extra effort to ensure the inspection report was sent to us the next day (weekend), typically it would have been sent the following week.

I decided to follow-up with their list of recommendations to bring my house up to current code. They gave me a call and scheduled another same-day visit! This time Jamie came over and installed several items. He was also very professional, and explained to me all the work he was performing.

Overall, I had a great experience with this company and impressed with their customer service. I'm for sure going to give these guys a call for any of my future plumbing needs!

I'm a little late with this review since I have been busy moving back into my home but I have not forgotten the outstanding work that Plumbing Tree did for us. My first contact was with Miguel. He helped to set up our appointments and was very knowledgeable and always followed through. He kept me up to date and made me feel like we were already in good hands from the start. Since we had a complicated shower and tub installation, we had a couple of different visits to get the work done. Gilbert was the first to come in. I had confidence in what he was doing by the way he explained everything. It was a tricky installation due to my dryer exhaust pipe being in the way. But he set up a plan and got the work started. We hired Plumbing Tree to re-pipe our entire home with copper. This was a big project that took a week with 3-4 plumbers each day. I've used this company before and each time they provide excellent work and information. This time, I needed a new hot water heater. Freddy responded to my online request for service. He spent a Saturday evening explaining to me the differences between tankless and tank water heaters. He asked for pictures of my old tank and its location so he could plan the work.
Monday, Gilbert came and installed a new tank AND a water turn off system for the house. It was a long day for him. From digging in the ground to install the water turn off system to avoiding garage clutter while he replaced the water heater, he remained pleasant and answered all our questions. He even helped me save money by recommending a smaller galleon tank. This company analyzes the problem, listens to concerns and works till the job is done correctly.

This is the best plumbing contractor I've ever worked with!! That being said, I was a professional construction estimator for over 30 years and have spent a lot of time working with many plumbers as well as all the other trades. Heck these guys are the best damn contractor I've worked with.

Plumbing Tree installed a Halo 5 whole house filtration system and repaired several minor plumbing issues. The cost never increased, the work was done cleanly and quickly and the folks that I dealt with: Freddy, Gilbert and Miguel were knowledgeable (never any bs), competent, honest and a pleasure to work with.

My Redfin agent recommended Plumbing Tree when we had plumbing issues only 24 hours after moving in to our new house. Miguel was super helpful on the phone and sent a plumber to the house within two hours of speaking with me. The kitchen sink was backing up and the dirty water was back flowing in to the washer machine in the adjacent garage. Water was also leaking out of the pipes on to the garage floor. The bathtub was super slow to drain and the water pressure was low. Ultimately, Angel was able to fix all the issues we were encountering. The guys at Plumbing Tree are definitely as good as it gets. Prior to them, I went through around 8 plumbers, asked them for pricing and 4 of them made it over to give my tenants a quote. I'm based out of the Bay Area, so I rely heavily on my gut instinct and what my tenant tells me.

My tenants have been having issues with hot water in the showers, along with the toilets flushing intermittently.

Plumbing tree gave us a competitive estimate, lower than most of the bids I received and tried to explain everything to me as best as they can to someone who is still learning about this plumbing world.

I got a good idea after going thru half a dozen of technicians trying to tell me what the problem is and what I need to do. So by the time Freddy at Plumbing Tree explained to me what we needed, I understood maybe 70% of what he was saying.

Long story short, they came Saturday morning and left around 40 minutes later than expected, and my total cost was only $50 more than what was given in the estimate.

The total price was still lower than the other 3 real estimates I got from other technicians. Not to mention, the other technicians were mentioning about the possibility of having to drill holes through walls and changing the plumbing from plastic to copper tubing all throughout the house (wait, what?... no.).

Anyway, this was a very stressful process for me trying to manage this out of town. But, luckily with the helpfulness of my tenant's feedback along with the helpfulness of Freddy (although at first I was very skeptical of him from experience with previous technicians), we were able to get the job done seamlessly and everything happened almost exactly as Freddy estimated and planned.

My father and I are happy to have found a plumber that we will definitely be using for our future plumbing needs.

PRO-TIP: Pay with check, otherwise they charge a 2% service fee on credit cards.

We recently discovered we had a slab leak near the kitchen, and after calling multiple plumbers, Freddy quickly returned our message (most didn't even do that) and immediately gave us a lot of helpful information. CPL Leak detection came out the next day, and Freddy organized for Angel to be there after the inspection, so planning for the repairs could begin immediately. Angel was COVID aware, careful on the property (booties at all times), reviewed the information from CPL and took his time doing further investigations. Over the weekend we emailed back and forth with Freddy on the plans, and Freddy was careful not to overpromise considering the limited information. On Monday Jared came out and, with the drywall now removed, spent more time testing and conferring with Freddy to make sure the repairs were done as needed. We were kept well-informed of any findings and any options we had, and the repair was done quickly and as discussed. At every step they made sure we agreed and were aware of what we agreed to.
Jared was courteous and respectful of the property and got our water back on in hours.

For starters, I asked my circle of friends for a recommended plumber and no one had a good/solid lead.

Beginning to end, Plumbing Tree was efficient, professional, and direct with their work. Long story short, we had a plumbing leak that turned into a much bigger job than I anticipated (read: first time home owner). Freddy and his crew meticulously diagnosed the problem and spelled out the repair process.

They do not disappoint, the 5 star rating is warranted.

I'll keep this short, we recently installed a Hudson Reed shower system, nobody could seem to get the hot & cold figured out...until the crew from Plumbing Tree rolled in and fixed it most-proper.

I called up on a Friday and booked my appointment for Monday, really easy no run-around.

On Monday promptly at my window of time a young lady called me and let me know the plumbers were ten minutes out, this is almost unheard of these days. Usually you get no call or a call from the plumber letting you know he's looking for parking etc. These dudes showed up on time, not whining about parking or doing their job, with booties on their work-boots, that's a nice touch. Both dudes have a positive attitude & they are friendly.

So after a good amount of trial and error, lots of tinkering and doing some manual research and moving the cartridge into the proper position, Jerry the JEDI-PLUMBER was able to get us back in business for a steamy or refreshing shower.

His other compadre David was there assisting,handing tools and having some pretty key input in an integral part of the mission accomplishment. I really appreciated Jerry's honesty when he announced that he hadn't worked on that particular type of Hudson Reed, but he'd get it done, and they both did just that.

Anyone who deals with minor fixes knows that nothing is easy, nothing. I would highly recommend Plumbing Tree....to Jerry and David....thanks a million.

Our shower handle would leak when we'd turn the water on. After reviewing various plumbing companies on Yelp, I've decided on Plumbing Tree. Freddy was my point of contact, he sounded friendly and professional. He said the issue might be a defective cartridge and quoted that the job would take less than an hour and a half. Alright, sounds like a simple fix.

Miguel was sent over and he sounded friendly and professional as well, despite his broken English. I was happy that he showed up with shoe covers to enter the house.

Then things went downhill a bit when Miguel got to work.

Long story short, Miguel couldn't pinpoint the issue until Freddy had told him that the issue was that the new cartridge we received from Kohler was apparently defective.. 50% of Miguel's time was spent on the diagnosis. 40% was spent waiting on Freddy to call him back while Miguel traveled back and forth to his car. 10% was spent installing the cartridge.

They charge by 15 min. increments after 1 hour, so $90 turned to $135.

A misunderstanding occurred during the invoice process, but everything was resolved through working it out with Freddy.

Since our plumbing and billing issue were resolved in the end, they get a 4 star rating from me.

Plumbing Tree is a very professional, fair and friendly company. My mom has a very old house and her plumbing is very problematic and slow. When we found their name in Yelp we called the company and Nellie, the secretary, was very helpful and passed our name to a technician so that we could be sure they could fix the blockage in our bathroom. Freddie, the technician, called the night before to assess the problem and reassure us he was capable and knowledgeable to fix it. Freddie and Jamie arrived promptly and troubleshot the problem and finally fixed it after many creative tries. I had a clogged kitchen sink that wouldn't drain. I disassembled and checked the pipes underneath the sink, I even plunged vigorously, and used 2 different types of commercial clog remover. Nothing worked. I was thinking of purchasing a water bladder or a drum auger to clear the clog, but decided to call the plumber instead. I did some research on Yelp, looking up dozens of plumbers around San Diego, checking prices, expertise, punctuality, and a warranty on repairs. Read lots of reviews and complaints, and seemed like an honest reliable plumber was hard to find these days. I decided on Plumbing Tree because their prices were upfront and clear, they had lots of experience, were reliable, and had a great warranty on repairs.

Jerry arrived early within a 30 minute window I requested. I described the problem to him, and he got set up. He used a 1/2 inch snake on a motorized spindle to clear the clog. It took about 15 minutes and approximately 6 feet of cable to clear the clog.

I had asked in advance if the repair didn't take too long, if they can fix some other plumbing issues, so Jerry was gracious enough to center the strainer and housing on one of the sinks. After the pipes were reassembled, he tested the drain by running the water. To our disappointment, it filled up again after a couple minutes. Jerry drained the water out, disassembled the pipes, and once again ran the snake. This time it took about 30 minutes and approximately 50 feet of cable. He also sporadically ran water into the drain to check for backflow. After he was convinced the clog was cleared, he reassembled the pipes, and tested it again by running the water in the sink. This time it was fixed for good.

After the inspection, Jerry billed me for the time. We had gone over an hour because I had him realign the strainer and housing. I'm sure he would have fixed it under an hour if I hadn't asked him for the other repair. They charge in 15 minute increments if they go over an hour, instead of charging you for another full hour. Jerry was very accurate and fair in his accounting.

I will definitely be using these guys again if I have another plumbing issue.

My plumber for life! So hard to find a good, honest, competent plumber, but Plumbing Tree is AWESOME! Freddy was great in every way. Super nice (to me and great with my dog), honest (pricing was clear and fair), clean (put on booties before coming in the house, cleaned everything before leaving). Replaced my toilet flange quickly and did a great job. Was great about letting me ask questions about toilets, sinks, tubs, and all sorts of plumbing stuff while he was working, and he taught me a ton. I like to do lots of home improvement stuff myself, and Freddy gave me lots of great tips and helped me out with a problem faucet while he was here too. I will use Plumbing Tree for all my plumbing needs. I couldn't be happier.

Not impressed with the response time from customer service when trying to set up an appointment to replace a section of cast iron pipe at my house. On top of that, they charge a non-refundable $100.00 just to show up, regardless if they do the work or not!

We had water leaking from the master shower. We attempted to replace the cartridge however due to the mineral deposits and corrosion: the cartridge was stuck therefore, we needed to hire a professional. Called a few well-known Plumbers in San Diego and they charged a fee just to diagnose the issue even though I explained my situation.

Thankfully, I found Plumbing Tree on Yelp and after reading the great reviews, I made a call. I was told since Plumbing Tree is a smaller business to text photos of my situation and they will call me back within 30 minutes. (Such a very modern way and saves time!) I received a prompt call back from Freddie, the owner. He told me, the cartridge was probably our problem. I of course had 101 questions and the what if it wasn't just the cartridge, Freddie was very nice and answered all of my questions. He reassured me that most of the time it is the cartridge especially since it has never been changed. He gave me a quote for labor which is also listed on the website since we are providing parts. I agreed to the price and we set up an appointment for the following day. I was told during my appointment within the 2 hour time frame, the technician will call prior to arriving.

The following day, we were home and it was a no show/call. I contacted Freddie and he apologized for the inconvenience and contacted our technician. Freddie called back immediately and told me our technician is on his way within 10-15 minutes!

Upon arrival, Jerry our technician was very professional and got to work immediately! He did apologize for being late. He also answered all of my concerning questions I had! Our cartridge was a tough one! He had to use multiple techniques and patience to get the cartridge out!

Since we were providing our own parts, it's hard to tell what cartridge we have if its never been changed so once he got the cartridge out, we realized the one we purchased was wrong. Jerry offered to sell us one which would include a 1 year warranty for the product but it was the wrong one, so I quickly drove to Home Depot for the correct cartridge.

Once the correct cartridge was installed, problem was fixed - no more leaks!

Although the process took over a hour, Jerry was very nice to round the job to a hour, which made up for the late arrival!

Lastly, since we used our own parts, we still receive a one year warranty for labor though!

Overall: We are VERY satisfied/happy with Plumbing Tree. We will definitely refer them to our family/friends and use them again in the future if we have any other problems! I highly recommend them as pricing is upfront, fair, and you'll get great service!

Plumbing Tree has been the smoothest plumbing service that I have ever used.

My parents had several plumbing issues that they needed to be fixed at their house. They went through Plumbing Tree to fix their issues. So if my parents use them and trust them.. then I will use them and trust them. I just so happened to be at the house when Robert showed up. At first I thought they just had a friend over because of the conversation that I was hearing. Robert was very friendly, professional, and proficient at the same time. I noticed he would put on shoe covers every time he would step in the house. His workspace was very neat too. He was able to get everything done in a decent amount of time. My parents and I asked him a buuuunch of questions because we weren't too familiar with plumbing and Robert was able to answer them. I wasn't really trying to be that guy with a bunch of questions but he put us at ease and gave us peace of mind after he answered all our questions.

I don't trust just anyone going into my house. I'm actually a little paranoid. You can call me crazy but I'm very cautious about who I let in. After having a conversation with Robert I felt very comfortable with him so I scheduled an appointment with him.

Robert came within the time window he gave me. He gave me a heads up about 30 minutes before he came. That was much appreciated. He came over for a job that I thought I could do myself but I ended up not wanting to damage anything making things more expensive. He warned me of all the damage that I could have done if I continued to try to do it myself which would've included cutting through the wall, cutting pipes, and installing new fittings. While he was mentioning all that I was just thinking about how much all the parts and labor would've cost. Robert told me my situation was unique and he's only seen it a handful of times but he had the specialty tool that was required and handled it like he's done it a million times.

I'm so glad I found a good plumber that I could trust and it was a HUUUUGE plus that he was a cool guy that was able to answer all my questions.

The most important question I always ask myself is would I eat here again? or in this case Would I use their service again? My answer would be YES.

I spoke with Freddy when I first contacted the company and he was really helpful. We got an appointment setup immediately, and with 0 hassle. They quoted me $175 for the entire fix, which was to replace corroded washer connection heads. The price out the door was $150, and they did an excellent job.

Jerry the plumber was prompt, courteous, and very polite. If we have any issues arise again, then we'll contact them immediately.

I have been a loyal customer of Plumbing Tree for many years because Freddy and his team never disappoints. I can always count on a reliable and impeccable job done whenever we have plumbing issues. Our most recent experience was a water heater leakage. Plumbing Tree was able to send someone out immediately, even though it was near end of business day. The plumber was able to temporarily stop the leak, and helped us make arrangement for damage assessment. For the new water heater installation, Freddy made some excellent recommendations on modifications that can help detect future leaks, including a flood sensor. I thought I had a great plumber until I met these guys!! WOW! The Customer Service bar has been raised even higher. I had a very serious pipe leak at my house just a couple of months after I purchased it. The previous plumbers I worked with were unable to figure out the cause and made me feel that I would have to jackhammer my new flooring as the only solution. In fact, I had three leak inspectors, an insurance claims expert and a even shaman out to figure out WHERE the source of the pooling water that was creating a mote outside of my house was coming from and not one could figure out why. SO as a last ditch effort, which I now kick myself for not doing in the first place, I went to Yelp to vet out a pro. BAM! That's how I found Plumbing Tree.

Freddy (the owner) and called me back a couple of hours after I left a voicemail explaining my predicament. Mind you that was at 8:45pm at night.... yup! That was the first indication I had made the right decision. Second his crew came the next day, on time, in full uniform including booties that protect the floors.. very considerate. He explained his didactic process to me from top to bottom... started by eliminating all potential sources from the outside in. He hired a sub-contracting consulting to specifically locate the interior leak and assured me that he could fix the problem without tearing up my new flooring.

He sent me a few quotes and did not pressure me on going with the most expensive because he told me that even the least expensive would fix the situation.

Now here's where I need to fess up that because I am very new to the home improvement world, I was a bit of a nightmare customer. I probably called him 15-20 times with questions. I mean, really.... a little excessive on my end, but he NEVER, not once, made me feel like a PITA and was always very informative and patient.

On the day we decided to do the work, his crew came. He walked me through his treatment plan and I left for work with every appendage crossed hoping that it was this and not the poltergeist that my BF was trying to tell me that it was.

After nine hours later, I returned to the house to see Freddy and the Plumbing Tree crew wrapping up. I was convinced that with the luck I had been having that they probably were unable to fix the leak and had to break down all of my walls.

GUESS WHAT!!!???? They Fixed it!!! I could not be more grateful!!! I mean I have always wanted to live in a castle with a mote, but NOT in La Mesa. As a result, I am customer for LIFE and I am beyond grateful to this company for helping me with my nightmare plumbing sitch.

My husband and I have been staying in during this Corona Virus Pandemic. My husband has a medical condition so he is very high risk for getting very sick if he acquires the virus. Well the toilet in our Master Bathroom broke. We worked around it for a while. It got to the point where we had to get it fixed. I contacted Miguel at Plumbing Tree. He was very knowledgeable. Miguel explained all the precautions they are taking to keep their clients safe. I felt very confident, so we booked the appointment. When Gilbert arrived with the new toilet he was very respectful. He kept his distance, and wore a mask. He listened and followed all of my other requests. The toilet was installed beautifully and the bathroom was left sparkling clean. What an honest and honorable company! Our bathroom sink water pressure dwindled down to a trickle. I contacted several plumbers through yelp and after sending Plumbing tree a photo of the faucet, they told me our relatively new faucet is likely under warranty. They were right! pfister sent new parts and we were able to fix it ourselves. All the other plumbers were going to charge me $100 just to come out. Thanks Plumbing Tree for great advice. When we do need a plumber I will be calling.

We've had several plumbing companies come to our condo building to address a water heater that constantly sprang leaks. None of them figured out what the problem was, but Plumbing Tree? NO PROBLEM! They made a thorough analysis, gave a clear estimate and efficiently completed the work as promised. The work looks so solid; I want to say beautiful because excellent work like this is beautiful. So very pleased with my service today.

I had found a very large sewage leak under our house a few weeks ago. I had called my home warranty and they contacted another plumbing company which had pretty bad reviews, so I was pretty hesitant. They ended up not even showing up when scheduled, so I decided to just pay out of pocket for this because it was too important to try and deal with insurance. I contacted Plumbing Tree because of their great reviews.

I was expecting an extremely expensive job which would require digging up the lines under my house. David came out and found it was just a sewage line that was never capped off! He capped it and cleared out the line. I was so pleased.

David was extremely pleasant and professional, as was the main office when I first called.

Definitely my go new go-to plumbers!

In life there are three trustworthy people you need to count on when trouble arises: a good lawyer, a good mechanic, and a good plumber. I'm already a lawyer and I have a good mechanic, but today I finally found a trustworthy plumber.

My homeowner's association has forced numerous units to make repairs on our shower valves to prevent crossover of hot and cold water. The company hand-selected by my HOA, ARS / Rescue Rooter, provided a free inspection and (without opening the valve at all) somehow determined I needed to completely replace the valve and cartridge, which according to them would require a discounted $750+ repair.

I showed my valve to other plumbers who immediately said that diagnosis was wrong based on the brand of valve used, including a Home Depot plumber who told me from his own personal experience that HOA's tend to do this--i.e. find a flaw with all the units and essentially coerce owners into making expensive repairs. Whether that's the case in this scenario I don't really know and I won't speculate as to the veracity of that claim, but this did not sit well with me so I sought another opinion.

A neighbor in my complex recommended Plumbing Tree to me, and wow was I impressed. A kind and knowledgeable technician named Jerry arrived on time, opened the valve, and noted immediately that my valve would not cause the problems that ARS / Rescue Rooter claimed it would. He did open the valve and find that I needed a new cartridge (which is a fault that there is no way ARS would've known without opening the valve), which he provided at a very reasonable cost.

Jerry ran over an hour but rounded down to one. A very classy move that I will not forget. The repair ended up costing $142, instead of the $750+ quoted by ARS / Rescue Rooter.

Plumbing Tree is a company with knowledgeable and behaves with honor and integrity--something I unfortunately cannot say about ARS / Rescue Rooter. Plumbing is a business of technical expertise and requires trust because most people cannot and do not know enough to make an informed opinion. Even before the meeting the owner Freddie provided excellent customer services and educated me on exactly what the competing company claimed was wrong with my shower and why that diagnosis was likely incorrect. Still, they sent a plumber who did his own investigation and ended up concluding the same

Plumbing Tree would get 6 stars if humanly possible, but instead I must leave them with 5. Thank you for your diligent service. I will recommend you to all my friends and associates.

I chose this company based solely upon the Yelp reviews. And let me tell you fellow bretheren and sisters of Yelp, you did not dissapoint. They responded quickly to my online inquiry, and I called them afterwards to set up an appointment. They gave me a window of 8:30 to 9:30 am, and said they would call when they were on their way. Got a call around 8:15 and the plumber arrived at 8:30. David was the gentleman helping me out today. He put on these covers over his shoes before coming in which I thought was great. Then he went to work unclogging two bathroom sinks and one bathroom shower. He also replaced a p trap under one of the bathroom sinks. He said the pipes were clogged with a lot of long hairs. It is what it is. He finished in just under an hour, and I paid and we were all done. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, respectful, and hard working. Pretty much as awesome as it gets. Thank you David for the great service and making my shower normal again instead of being like the blue lagoon.

After reading all the positive reviews I had really high expectations. However, if you advertise that you offer 24 hour-emergency service and that your response time is within 30 minutes I think it would be a realistic expectation of anyone inquiring about your services to get a call back on the same day.

I was in dire need. SDG&E had just shut off my gas because of a leak and I needed help ASAP. I left a message in the evening and I got a return call the next morning around 9 a.m. saying they could not help me until a week later. Yes, it was between Christmas and New Year's, and they may have had employees off for a couple of days, but don't advertise emergency service unless you intend to offer it.

I started using Plumbing Tree 2 years ago when I moved into my house. Freddy has always been great to work with, true to his word and up front about costs and managing expectations. I love seeing his business and team grow, but I shouldn't be surprised since their service has been dependable and I actually found them on Yelp due to their other great reviews. Every team member that has some come to my house over the past 2 years (house was built in 1975) has been courteous and professional.

This company is AWESOME!! Great planning, communication, work ethic, timeliness on a huge project!! We had a collapsing sewer line that included easements on two neighbors properties. The project ultimately replaced the entire 385 feet of line.
Freddie was wonderful from the first discussion. Unlike other companies we interviewed he took the time to sleuth the entire line and find out exactly what needed replacing giving us a fair price much lower than the other companies! He coordinated with our neighbors to ensure their minimal disruption and satisfaction throughout the several weeks long project. Alex was on site everyday especially when Freddie couldn't be there! The whole crew was friendly and polite . Cleanup was done daily and thoroughly!

All the folks at Plumbing Tree that helped with my major plumbing project were outstanding. Nelly in the office was always available, and made me feel comfortable in asking any question I needed. I didn't have to chase anyone to get answers when I needed them. Freddy, the owner, is a very good man, honest and cares about doing the best job possible. We had a sewer backup at the home and Freddy came out to see what happened, tracking the issue down deep into the lateral sewer via camera inspection. He explained to me what the root cause was and how to fix it, at which time I also contracted them to fix the issue. I also worked with Miguel and David on Freddy's team, again, great folks that treated me and my neighbors with respect. The work was involved, requiring installation of backflow valves, and replacement of huge pieces of lateral that were over 50 years old. When they were done, things looked amazing, and I feel very confident in their work.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Freddy and his team. They are 5 star rated for a reason!

I've been meaning to write a review for Plumbing Tree for quite some time. I first used them about 7 months ago when a pipe cracked in my condo unit, causing water to leak into my neighbor's garage.

I got quotes from 2 other plumbers who tried to scare me by telling me how severe of a problem my pipe was and how it would cost at least $5,000.00 to fix. Given that they needed to take a chunk out of my kitchen wall in order to get to the pipe, I believed them. But I decided to get at least one more quote and gave Plumbing Tree a call.

They were very responsive via text message and when they arrived, they were respectful and courteous and even put on shoe covers before walking into my house! They then proceeded to check the damage on my pipes and although they did indicate that it was a problem, they quoted me at about 10% of what the other guys were charging. They also indicated it could be fixed within 3 hours and stuck with that timeline. Since then, I have had no problems with the pipe, and have had no more complaints about leaking from my neighbor.

I know nothing about plumbing which makes me the ideal candidate to rip off. However, with Plumbing Tree, I felt like I was in the right hands with honest, kind people who take pride in what they do. I've had some other minor plumbing issues since then and have always called on Plumbing Tree to fix them. They have definitely found a lifelong customer in me.

Our upstairs tub/showers were backing up and needed the lines cleared. I was very happy with the service - first they emailed me a picture of the person coming so I could be sure who would be knocking. They called 30 min prior and showed up on time. Of the 3 who replied back, only Plumbing Tree actually gave me a basic quote, which is why I ended up moving forward with them in the first place. They also requested that I send them a picture of the fix I needed so they could give me a better estimate. The other places wanted to send someone out to take a look and give me a free estimate, but you know they'd end up pressuring me to just do the work because the plumber's already there.

On the scheduled work day, they were running a little later than expected, but they were very forthright in letting me know. David called me a half hour before coming over to re-verify that we were still good on time.

David was very friendly and professional. On the pipe I needed fixing, he spotted a second issue and suggested that he could do the work a little differently to fix both problems. It would cost a little bit more on parts (maybe $15 or $20), but it would actually be easier and faster to fix, so it all evened out. He did good quality work in a very timely manner.

Overall it was a pleasant experience from start to finish, and it didn't cost too much. What really sold me was the open communication and ease of getting numbers figured out before having to commit to anything.

I have been in the building industry for over 40 years and have seen so many companies boast about their customer service. Great service! Called them up and Freddy told me they would have someone at my apartment the same day in a few hours.

Carlos showed up well within the time frame given, brought in his equipment and got to work right away. Very friendly and helpful, and took time out to explain all that was wrong with my bathroom sink drain.

Within an hour he was done and I had a working drain again!

Costs were a bit higher than I expected but they were open about them and worked with me to make sure I didn't overpay.

Would highly recommend Carlos and Plumbing Tree to anyone!

Awesome! The company was very efficient and told us that the company had a warranty for the parts we needed. They've done some other work in our building to know this. They got us what we needed and sent Freddie out ASAP. He was punctual and also very efficient. He told me the range in price up front and spent 1.25 hours here and I was charged the lower-end of the estimate. In fact, he mentioned because we found them on Yelp that if we checked in we could save an additional $10. In addition Freddie explained all of the additional services the company provides. I used Plumbing Tree again for a leak under my boy's bathroom sink. They came and assessed the problem and let me know what was needed to fix. I wanted to purchase my own faucet so I asked if we could finish the appt after I could go and pick out my own faucet (since we are trying to sell our home and I was at work I wanted to buy myself). They were great at rescheduling the follow up appt. Especially since I have a crazy schedule. They came back and did the install but unfortunately that night it started leaking again.
I called back and they took care of everything. Freddy arranged to have them come right back out to fix and Chris repaired the issue immediately.
I definitely recommend Plumbing Tree. The plumbers are professional, courteous and I feel safe with them in my home and around my kids. But most importantly, they stand behind their work and if there is an issue they make things right!

I was a little skeptical of these guys, because we had some scheduling issues up front, but they made up for it. We were in the process of making an offer on a house and they found issues that the inspector as well as the sewer pros missed when they came out. Saved me potentially tens of thousands of dollars. Very thorough, Freddy was patient and explained to me in detail the problems, the potential issues the problems may cause and different fixes. I learned way more and know more about sewer pipes than any person in the industry has a right to know. Miguel was good too, he's like the Sammy Hagar of plumbing, but Freddy is the David Lee Roth. Bottom line, I will not hesitate to use these guys again.

He was thorough detailing out the issues verbally to me as well documenting it on the invoice and sending pictures so I know exactly what the issues were and how it was addressed what I'm paying for. If you are in need of professional plumbing services, you will not be disappointed with Plumbing Tree. After discovering a slow leak in my main water valve, I called Plumbing Tree 20 minutes before closing time on a Saturday. Miguel was very courteous and helpful. He asked me to send photos so his team could provide a rough cost estimate. I sent the photos after closing time, but he communicated with me into the late evening and on Sunday. He scheduled the work for Monday afternoon. Miguel provided a courtesy call about 30 minutes before the plumber arrived. Gilbert was our plumber, and he was excellent to work with. Informative, courteous, and very professional. The cost was reasonable, and Gilbert clearly showed pride in his work. He informed us of some additional items for us to consider in the future, but he was not pushy. I highly recommend this business because of their excellent customer service and the quality of their work. I'll be hiring them again without a doubt.

Another satisfied Plumbing Tree customer! My fiance and I like to get down and dirty with some DIY, but we learned an important lesson at 7:30 pm on a Monday evening -- do NOT try to DIY plumbing (especially during off hours!)!

A quick yelp search later and I found Plumbing Tree. I called and left a voicemail at 7:32 pm and received a call from Freddy 5 minutes later with word that two plumbers were on their way.

Miguel & Miguel showed up at 8:00 pm, and were polite, professional and courteous. They got right to work to extract the cartridge which had broken off in our shower valve. One hour later, and we have a working shower AND the water back on at our house!

Freddie installed a clean out trap within the past year for the kitchen sink. Two problems.
Before Freddie left the job, I told him that the outlet pipe was too close to the house, only about 1/8 inch out. This interferes with the installation of a frame for covering it. He told me to think it over and he could fix it if necessary. He had to go to the next job.
I got feedback and told him I wanted the longer pipe. He said at end of last December that he would install a longer pipe without charge but still has not so far.
Second problem. Within an hour of Freddie leaving, I turned on the kitchen sink water. There was a new leak that was not there before them came. His worker had his head under the sink for quite awhile with the water running before they left but did not mention this. It is very noticeable.
I contacted Freddie immediately. He wanted to charge to come out.
Another plumber has since told me the vibration from the tool used for the clean out trap probably caused the leak.
I don't think Freddie's worker was very observant not to notice it before he left.

At this point, all I want Freddie to to do is honor his prior commitment to extend the clean out trap pipe.

These guys are awesome. So positive, easy to work with, and very knowledgeable! We had both Freddy and Miguel out on separate occasions to help with our sprinklers, and each time they have been efficient and wonderful to work with. It is great to find reliable and friendly plumbers.

We were in dire need as the first time our system had broken and was basically flooding the yard. They were easy to schedule with and came right away. The second time we need to replace a valve and they looked for the most cost effective way to do it, which is greatly appreciated. Additionally, they treat the military well and offer a discount for active service members.

I had to get my shower valve replaced inside the wall, these guys were able to fit me in on a Saturday morning after I called them at Friday 6 PM. Didn't even charge me after hours rates on a Saturday which was awesome. Freddy was able to give me a quote and the amount of time it would take right there on the phone. Called 5 other places that were 4.5+ stars on Yelp and these guys were the only ones who picked up right away. I left messages with other companies and only 1 called me back, and they weren't even able to give me a quote, just an hourly rate (and that's it!).

Miguel R. and Chris showed up right on time. I was afraid they were going to have to install a remodeling plate (big and ugly) since they had to go inside my wall, but they were able to install just a regular one. They protected my bathroom floor and tub with a thick blanket they brought, and had shoe coverings for the carpet. They even took the shoe coverings off when they went outside (I've had people just wear them outside which defeats the purpose). Originally Freddy estimated it would take 3 hours, but they got in done in 2.5 hours! They give a 1 year warranty on everything (parts and labor) which was nice to hear also.

Just call these guys, make your life easier.

We had David D as our plumber and he was not only meticulous and exceptional in his work, but his overall attitude and demeanor were more professional than any other person I've had here (we've had a lot!)

David is an ideal person to work in your home, my 3 dogs normally bark at anyone and he came in, got to work and they didn't even bark. That's a good sign.

I was a knucklehead and dropped my Tiffany's bracelet down my sink drain. I called my apartment's plumbing company and when I came home I found that they had not been there as promised nor had I received a call.

So, at 6:30 at night on a Friday I called up Plumbing Tree. The owner (super friendly) called me right back. Knowing how frantic I was and my desire to get the bracelet out as soon as possible, he had Jerry come out that night at such a reasonable price. Within 15 mins Jerry was at my door saving the day. We had terrible experiences with 4 separate plumbers (all with high Yelp ratings) prior to calling Plumbing Tree. The other plumbers either didn't show up to the appointment, tried to massively upsell us on something we didn't need, or gave conflicting information.

Miguel from Plumbing Tree took a few minutes to look at our leaky shower, gave us a couple options which matched the prices Plumbing Tree quoted over the phone, and identified the replacement part that other plumbers said didn't exist or couldn't be used. Miguel took the time to explain everything, hustled to pick up the replacement part, and worked quickly to fix the problem. He was professional, courteous, and wanted to make sure we were happy with his service.

I finally found an honest plumbing company I can trust!

Recently, the city of San Diego sent cameras down to inspect the sewers on the street. The city left a note on my door stating we needed to our property lateral maintenanced due to tree roots, grease or other obstructions.

I had three different plumbing companies that offer free camera inspections come to provide a diagnosis and estimate. These companies gave conflicting answers and provided quotes ranging from $600-$2400.

Feeling like I might be getting ripped off, I did research on Yelp to find Plumbing Tree. The excellent reviews on this site are completely justified. Plumbing Tree came and snaked my property lateral to remove the tree roots and only charged their hourly rate, leaving me with a bill under $200!!! Plumbing Tree saved me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. Thank you to Freddy & Miguel for excellent service. You have a customer for life.

If you read the side of their trucks and notice the Your plumber for life part, you'll quickly find out why.

The short version: We've been using Plumbing Tree since the team was just Freddy. We have two properties with a combined age of 150 years between them and have probably met everyone on the team now, most recently Jerry who helped us yesterday (twice for separate issues), and picked up where Chris left off so that we could host a kid's birthday party where he was working and Miguel who has helped us in the past. Plumbing Tree has always been prompt, professional and genuinely have their clients' best interest at heart. They also work quick, and clean. Whenever we have issues, I pick up my phone because I have them saved as Plumbers and I know I don't have to worry about anything after I give them a call. As an added bonus, everyone on the team is a genuinely nice person.

The long version: Chris started clearing our yard drains that had flooded over with the rains (and after I had tried and failed to snake them myself) on Saturday but we were also hosting a party for our daughter in the yard. When the bounce house guys showed up, he cleaned up quickly and held off on billing us for the work until they could come finish the job properly. Jerry was lucky enough to come finish the work for us on Wednesday morning and got it tackled and kept the charges down on the initial service call since it was a continuation. Later in the day once we had a break from the rain my wife was hearing a hissing sound and noticed some tile discoloration, called back and Jerry was out again to fix a slab leak. I thought that was going to break the bank but Jerry got it all handled in under 3.5 hours when the initial diagnosis was 4 to 6 hours (remember when I said they work fast?!) all while getting frequent visits from our 3 year old and keeping her safe and going over the work he was doing.

Miguel has helped us with a pinhole leak at our other place that he wrapped up in under an hour and Freddy has worked on our showers and sink fixtures in the past as well and I always count Plumbing Tree to save the day, go over the issues clearly, and in a tie for most importantly, fix it right and do honest and clear billing. Any issue they've fixed in the past hasn't cropped up again and the one time something was slightly off with a fix they were out IMMEDIATELY to correct it.

I wasn't receiving any pressure or water on my toilet, so I called some local plumbing companies for a diagnosis and estimate. Freddy was the fastest to respond with a quote, and few them did not even respond at all. I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours, and the problem was fixed at a lower cost than the other plumbers quoted me. The company does charge by the hour, but Freddy worked very fast to ensure that the labor time did not go beyond the 1st hour. Short story: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Great guys, won't up sell or BS you at all. They're honest, knowledgeable, personable, pet friendly, and they do great work. They respond quickly and are about the customer.

Long Story: We are so very thankful for Plumbing Tree! We had our tankless water heater die so I began calling every plumber on Yelp. I thought someone would have the part we needed, nope, we'd have to order it directly from the company which was horrible news when you're going on 48+ hours without having hot water. It took me 15 phone calls to find that out. Only 1 guy told me that upfront (& later PT said the same). I then decided we needed a new one, I couldn't wait any longer. Started calling again and got 1 company to come out and give us an estimate but they couldn't come out till later in the week to install the new heater. I then called PT and spoke to Freddy. He was at another job but made sure my call was important to him and called me back. He said he could come out the next day! How lucky were we?! I was able to text him photos of our old unit and where we'd like the new unit to go, he gave me an honest estimate and from our phone convo I could tell he really knew his stuff. I was sold. Freddy, Chris and Miguel came out today and installed the heater. They were all knowledgeable, polite, personable and listened to our thoughts, ideas, and concerns. I never once felt like they were pushing us into an up sell or anything of the sort. Oh, and were super nice to our dog which is a big plus. Needless to say YES I recommend them. YES we will use them again in the future. YES, hire them. If you need a plumber, go with PT, you won't be sorry.

I cannot say enough good things about these guys - just call them first and be happy you did.

I had a handyman cancel on me last-minute and needed a plumber ASAP for a quick sink piping fix. I called them at 12pm on a Friday, sent a couple photos, and they said someone could be out the same day between 4-6pm and estimated 1.5-2 hrs of work and $50 in parts. The guy showed up at 3:45 (early...AWESOME!), only took 1 hour, and only cost $27 in parts. Essentially half-price for what I was expecting. And, of course, they were incredibly polite, respectful, and did a great job. I was impressed - and all that just a couple hours after calling. Do yourself a favor and call them.

Couldn't say enough positive things about this company. We were in the middle of a master bathroom remodel when I stumbled across Plumbing Tree because of their ratings on Yelp. I originally spoke with Miguel who was able to quote me over the phone for the work. Over time, I had the pleasure of also speaking with Freddy. Both Miguel and Freddy were easy to get ahold of and extremely transparent about their pricing (which was also very affordable). I typically bid out several contractors for jobs and they won on their pricing and professionalism. On the day of work, we had Gilbert come to our home. My wife happened to be home while I worked and she said Gilbert was respectful and worked hard to finish the job on time. We had several issues come up in our bathroom that nobody could foresee but Gilbert was extremely helpful in making recommendations and giving guidance on what we needed to do. Needless to say, we will be using Plumbing Tree as our go-to plumbers from now on. We will also be recommending them to our friends and family!

We noticed a small leak from our water heater. Plumbing Tree came recommended to us by a neighbor who used them. We called and talked to Miguel over the phone who simply asked us to take photos of our heater and text them over to him so he could get a better idea of our dilemma (new heater vs repair). He confirmed what we knew: we needed a new heater. They were willing to install the water heater we picked out from HD which we had ready for them on arrival. I took one star off because it took their worker 5 hours. Maybe it was a reasonable amount of time, given he had to additionally reroute the piping in the wall . But then again, the job could have used 2 workers on site as he needed an extra pair of hands to help him lift the heavy water heater. (Someone did show up momentarily to aid him even though my burley boyfriend offered to help.) Ultimately, I agree with other yelpers, this business was courteous, professional, and trustworthy so I would both recommend and use them again.

I had an under the slab hot water leak and I called the people at Plumbing Tree to look at it. Freddy came up with a plan to re-rout the hot water line from the heater up one wall and across the ceiling between the 1st and second story and then down a closet to meet up with the incoming hot
water line that fed the rest of the house. Miguel and Oliber were tasked with the work to do this. They were very professional and their work was superior. They also changed out my old pressure regulator and installed a new ball valve for water shutoff to the house. They also installed a new hot water heater. Everything works great now. I recommend them highly.

We had a 50 year old sink that needed to be replaced. I had used Plumbing Tree in the past so I called to get a quote. I explained what I wanted done and with a few questions and descriptions, I got an estimate. I was not sure on a date and said I would call back, the person on the phone did not bug me to schedule right now which I appreciated. When I had everything needed I called back to schedule, they were very accommodating and gave a 2 hour window. They did have an issue the day of, someone called out sick, but they kept me informed and let me know they would be out. Miguel showed up and went right to work. He had all the parts needed and got the job done quickly. He had shoe covers that he took off and on when leaving or entering the house to make sure not to track stuff through the house. I have used their services once before when I had an issue at my home. This time there was a problem at my work so I decided to recommend Plumbing Tree to my boss. We had a shampoo bowl clogged at our salon so Miguel and David came out. As they were there Miguel discovered that we also had a leak. Then they had to replace a drain and the p trap. He showed me the messy work that the previous company had done. And boy let me tell you what a sloppy job it sure was. I definitely appreciated the honesty that came from Miguel and letting me know all the other problems at hand. Luckily he had all the parts available and it all took about 2 hours. Freddie was extremely professional in a plumbing situation we recently had. We just recently moved into a new home and redid the flooring immediately. The toilets needed to be removed and before we put them back in, we made sure to do some research on a plumber to reinstall the toilets up to code and worry free. Even though this was a small job, Freddie came to our house promptly and before entering the home he put on some shoe guards. I know that's a small detail, but it's little things like that that make a big difference. He surveyed the bathrooms that needed the toilets reinstalled, walked us through everything that was going to be done, leaks he would be checking for and before we knew it, the service was done. Freddie followed up with some insight on the install, used a thermo camera to even show us that all was good, and even recommended a system to help with hard water throughout the entire home. Walked us through the job guarantee and made it very simple and worry free. Amazing!!!!!

Plumbing Tree put in my new kitchen faucet and overflow for my dishwasher approximately two years ago. Just about two weeks ago my Pfister faucet broke so I called Plumbing Tree back to help me figure out what exactly happened. The diagnosis was the base of my faucet broke for unknown reasons. Pfister sent me a new faucet and Plumbing Tree put it in for no charge even though my warranty had expired with them due to a miscommunication.

We found water damage at the top of our kitchen cabinet and called Plumbing Tree for help. We scheduled an appointment for two days later and Jamie arrived at our house promptly. After inspecting the water damage he did a very thorough job of testing our plumbing to determine where the leak was. I'm giving Plumbing Tree two stars because I never received an official quote in a timely manner after they came to inspect and was unimpressed with the tech that was sent out. I read all the reviews and I initially contacted them Feb 14th. At that point I had already had it snaked and scoped and diagnosed by a reputable company. I just needed repair. The admin messages were courteous and eventually Freddy did call after I sent photos and I explained the issue and said he felt confident in the scope diagnosis I had had since he knew the company that did it. I felt confident in his knowledge and description of things. He then was going out of town for the 3 day holiday so he scheduled a different technician for either Fri/Sat whenever that person was able to come. It wasn't emergency but I preferred the soonest available Fri since this is a plumbing issue with my business. Anyway, the young guy who came Sat did not give me the confidence that Freddy did. He wasn't rude but on the arrogant side claiming all the other plumbers who told me anything were all wrong. I highly doubt that since my previous plumber was very experienced and had to retire due to illness. He'd been working here for 35 years. I know this old property very well and trust the repair professionals who have worked here for 30+ years. Plus Freddy had said he trusted the guy who scoped it. The tech scoped it again since I am sure they want to see what they're dealing with prior to digging and repairing even though I had just snaked and scoped and diagnosed the week before. So his scope diagnosis turns out different than the previous company. Now it was 10-30ft of problematic pipe vs 6-10ft on the previous scope who confirmed that there were no offsets that were an issue from the cleanout to the alley. So this young guy is saying that there are offsets from the cleanout to the alley. I watched both scopes and saw for myself and have been snaking it myself. The issue is a belly or offset in this 6 feet of pipe. I can easily snake the tp that piles up in that one area and it's all fixed but I can't keep doing that. And using logics if that tenant was never complaining of backup issues (only the other tenant upstream was) then it makes sense there are no issues from the cleanout to alley. Anyway, he mentioned people who sell old houses because of things getting old and I heard the word jackhammer and immediately I knew I did not want this guy digging at my property. It's dirt where my plants are, easy to dig and not under concrete or brick. No need for jackhammering anything and the first scope guy said I was lucky that it was just in the dirt area! Zero confidence in this tech. I wanted him to talk to Freddy and he called him and he said Freddy would review it and let me know what he thinks. Was relieved to hear this so no work would occur that day. Then the tech said I'd be charged the scope fee and Saturday fee, I have an issue with this. I just paid $150 to scope it and I did not request a weekend day it wasn't an emergency. I knew I'd be charged for them coming out anyway so I may as well get it snaked even though there wasn't a huge backup at the time so I asked him to do that. I'm fine with paying that fee but I don't need to pay for two scopings and a Saturday fee. What I need was the repair of the pipe and that's what he was coming to do and then did not. It's one thing to apply it to a the actual repair price but the repair was now not happening. So he talked to him and I only paid the snake fee and was back to square one. Lots of money being spent on redundant things. I waited for him to come back from vacation and messaged a couple of times about the full diagnosis and quote for repair and I was going to see if Freddy could do the work. I received polite messages from the admin that he was catching up and would let me know soon. That was Feb. 21st my last message, today is March 6th and I never heard anything. Confident in Freddy's plumbing knowledge and would've been happy to have him come out to do the repair but not confident in the tech that arrived and disappointed I never received a quote after 20 days.

Plumbing Tree helped me with updating many plumbing fixtures in my apartment and provided fantastic and professional service. We ran into many hiccups along the way because it was an old building with ancient plumbing, but the team was patient and able to come up with solutions to get everything properly fixed. They came out to my apartment a total of three times in order to get the job done, and all the extra work required was beyond what we anticipated when starting the project. Plumbing Tree was able to tackle all the unforeseen challenges, was flexible with scheduling, and also worked greatly with me on costs in order to keep them from spiraling unreasonably high. Just amazing!! My shower replacement is not easy, very trick because it is custom tub makes regular shower sets does not fit well. I find only one which actually does not work perfectly. You would be foolish to look anywhere else.

I have owned several homes and rental properties, and I have employed many plumbers over the years. I rarely do reviews. I'm making an exception for these guys. I have had the same car mechanic for over 25 years and expect to do business with Plumbing Tree for just as long.

They take pride in what they do. They really want to do the best job they can for you. Second, they are SUPER easy to work with. Many plumbers give you that you're kind of dumb about plumbing or leave me alone stuff. These guys just show up, introduce themselves, and calmly get the job done. No drama. You feel good when everything is fixed.

They were timely, they did quality work, they were neat, they explained what they were doing. Prices were really good. Very happy to give them the best review possible.

A week before Thanksgiving we experienced a major kitchen sink drainage problem. My wife, who comes from a plumbing family, considered it a personal challenge. She plunged and snaked all weekend. Monday morning came and she regretfully admitted defeat and we called a plumber.
We Yelp'd many, including one which was recommended on Next Door and went with Plumbing Tree... fantastic choice! Jerry was out within a few hours and worked about an hour to clear the clog; courteous, clean, professional, and at reasonable cost.
Everything seemed fine, but then the drains reclogged the next day (grease clog). Jerry and a helper were back within a few hours and worked another 45 min. snaking multiple times... no further charge because of their 6 mo. warranty on their jobs. Recommended very highly!

I was referred to the Plumbing Tree after I was seeking help on Facebook.

A good friend of mine referred me to Freddy and mentioned that he was a great plumber. I had a horrible Clog in the bathroom of a house I just rented and I looked online and searched for a bunch of DIY ways of fixing it, I poured Vinegar, Bought the Gel Unclogger I even bought one of those Snake Uncloggers at Home Depot. None would work with the horrible Clog.

Freddy arrived on Thanksgiving day and he surely fixed it in under an Hour, he had a great attitude and was able to fix it very quickly. Everyone needs a good go to plumber and now I found one.

These guys are great. They worked on my family's condo and did an excellent job. Freddy and I communicated briefly a few times before setting the appointment, to make sure that I had the proper items (my mom wanted specific things) the first time around.

It's hard to find a good plumber. It's even harder to find a good plumber with integrity. Freddy is experienced, skilled, and honest. He's not out to make a quick buck.

I called Plumbing Tree on a shower leak that I ran into a snag fixing on my own. Freddy offered me an explanation of what would need to be done over the phone. I elected to bring him in anyways due to time constraints. He did a great job, kept to his estimate, and offered a 90 day warranty on the work.

I have to say that a 90 day warranty is incredible. Plumbing can get pricey and it's great to have the confidence that your money isn't going down the toilet (pun intended).

I'll definitely be reaching out to Plumbing Tree for my future needs. 5 stars!

I'm having my landscape done and the project manager mentioned that I should have my main water line looked into sooner rather than later since it has a slow leak and it looks corroded. Since the landscape work was being done today and the paved stones were going to be installed around the main line I figured I should have it looked at and replaced as a permanent solution. I found Plumbing Tree and based on their 5 star reviews, I gave them a call.
I spoke with Freddy and explained the situation. I sent him a picture and he gave me a quote over the phone. He had availability the following day but I asked if it were at all possible for someone to come today since I'm having work done. He said he would come out to my house himself along with one of his guys between 3 and 5pm.
Freddy and Jerry showed up and went to work immediately.
My job needed additional parts so Jerry stayed and worked while Freddy went to the store to get what he needed. The job was done exactly as Freddy explained and the cost was spot on.
Plumbing Tree has excellent customer service from the moment Freddy answered the phone all the way through the completion of the job. Freddy even took the time to look at a gas line I have out back since I wanted to know if the line was still good and how much it would cost to add a shutoff valve.

As we all know...women with long hair and a lot of it...shower drains get clogged. We sold our house and needed a plumber ASAP for the master bath shower before close. The guys at Plumbing Tree worked through our scheduling conflicts and were willing to come when our movers were in the middle of packing our house. I told him that I needed a new garbage disposal and he told me that he might be able to fix the one I already have for less money than to replace it. How many folks offer you a possible cheaper solution?! He was here on Friday and confirmed I did need a new garbage disposal after seeing if he could fix the old one. I love yelp. It allows me to find great service like one provided by Freddy at Plumbing Tree.

My tenant's faucet in his bathtub was leaking water so I looked up Yelp and called a few places that had great reviews: one turned out that our schedules didn't work out, one seemed rude over the phone where I got the impression I was more of a hindrance than a customer (I won't name the plumber since my impression came from only one call), then I called Plumbing Tree. I initially got Freddy's voicemail but within minutes I got a call back from him and scheduling a time was very easy. I described my tenant's situation and he suggested I send him some pictures of the faucet handle so that he can be better prepared, which I appreciated for his proactive approach.

On the day of the service Freddy was on time, articulated the problem and my choices well, and and was courteous throughout the whole time. The whole process took an hour and half due to our run to Home Depot, but it was a painless experience and my tenant and I were happy with the work.

I am not sure if it was the cheapest for the work itself, but from my experience I assess Freddy as someone whom you can trust to do the job without any type of deception. And sometimes that is what counts the most.

Considering that a Yelp 5 star review means as good as it gets, I can't in good faith say the overall (in italics) experience warranted that. That said, the service performed by Miguel, was indeed 5 stars.

I won't go into background details, but my bathroom sink hasn't drained well ever since I moved into my loft... then all of a sudden, it wouldn't drain at all. My owner tried to set me up with their plumber (same last name, so I think it was their brother), who then proceeded to no-show on two separate occasions. Annoyed since I don't want to spend my off days waiting for a plumber to not come, my owner said the just call someone and they'd cover the cost.

I've never had to call a plumber before, so like seemingly everything else, I turned to Yelp. I tried a few of the top rated, who didn't really have much time for a simple clogged bathroom sink - uh, I might be able to get to that on Monday, was one reply.

Then I get to Plumbing Tree and give them a call. From an 8am call, they were able to get me a 2-4pm appointment, which I was fine with. The person scheduling was friendly and informed me that I'd be called when someone was getting close to heading my way - about 30 or 45 minutes ahead of time. I received a call saying the morning appointments were running long and that I should expect someone to be there towards the end of the time window or slightly past. I was fine with that, since I didn't have to be anywhere until a few hours after.

At about 5pm, I had to call and confirm I was still scheduled, since I hadn't received any updates. I was told that someone was coming shortly and was offered a slight discount for waiting this long. About 45 minutes later, I received another call, this time from the plumber himself. He said he was on his way and confirmed my address.

Miguel showed up just as he said and was very friendly and polite. He was able to fix my bathroom sink in about 20 minutes and wished everyone I dealt with was an efficient and professional. As I stated above, Miguel's work gets 5 stars and the company overall gets 4. I would definitely use them again, but if I had somewhere to be after their 2-4pm window, they would've missed the appointment. I also had to call them for an update. It's for these 2 reasons, I reluctantly couldn't say as good as it gets.

I won't publicize the discount amount, since I don't think that would be right, but they charge $95 for the first hour, with a minimum of one hour. From there, they bill in 15 minute increments. So basically you're going to be paying a minimum of $95.

My kitchen sink clogged and wouldn't drain, even with the disposal running. It's a double-sink so it would drain but only to fill the other side. Super frustrating...and drain cleaners didn't do the trick.

I spoke with Freddie, and he confirmed he would arrive the next morning. He ended up calling me earlier to confirm he planned to arrive early due to a cancellation. Already, I was impressed.

When he arrived, he assessed the problem, explained the process he planned to take, and ensured he had the right equipment for the job. Second, he confirmed that the pipes were sauteed shut, but that he would do his best to avoid cutting it by troubleshooting and working the drain. Not only did he fix it, he went over how to keep my drain clog free (with non-toxic products) going forward. He gave his number to call him in case I experience issues.

Plumbing Tree was referred by Tools and Hardware shop in chula vista, but it's certainly the first number I'll call if I ever experience an issue. Their work, ethic, and demeanor are all quality. Highly recommended!

Had to have all the components under my kitchen sink put back in (garbage disposal, faucet, etc) as well as a new dishwasher installed...called 4 plumbers for quotes. The quotes I received were:
$650 (flat rate)
$525 (flat rate)

And plumbing tree, who quoted me a range of $160-300, and said they charge on an hourly basis. Went with plumbing tree and they completed the job for $270 (needed a couple parts which cost $21 which they wouldn't have known I needed when they quoted me). So glad that I shopped around for a fair price. Miguel came in, completed the job in just over 2 hours, and was pleasant and professional. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again.

I have been using Plumbing Tree for our rental properties for the last five years and have always been impressed with their professionalism and speed at getting back to me, but David just outdid himself today. He spent 18 minutes on a Saturday night with me walking me through how to turn the pilot back on our water heater. I tried and tried myself this afternoon after accidentally turning the gas line off and couldn't make it light. But David stayed on the phone and we tried it four maybe five times and I was just about to give up when the water heater Status light blinked and showed sign of life and then he guided me on how to turn it gently to low and then to high and then voila!! I heard the fire light and whoosh! We had fire!! I can not tell you how grateful I am for his patience and diligence. My poor 80 year old mom can have a hot shower tonight! I use Yelp for everything, and when it came to clogged shower it was no different. I wanted someone who would get the job done right the first time, professionally and with no hassle on my end.

Plumbing tree is outstanding! Freddie came to my house the very next morning after I placed a phone call for help. They were upfront with me about the charges and had all the needed equipment. They came in uniform and were very professional.
I needed tree roots cleared out of my sewer pipe through a new cleanout access point that was just installed in my backyard by a different, less qualified plumber. The other plumber wanted to charge me $500 to come back and in 2 days after installing the cleanout pipe to clear out my roots and to make a video of the cleared pipe.
Freddy and his crew cleaned out the pipe in about an hour and showed me the video before asking me if I was ready to make the video. They charged me $315 with credit card and gave me a detailed receipt. They were very well priced and easy to work. My plumber from now on!

We work with them often through my company and all out clients are happy with their work and service. Recently I had a personal plumbing issue and could think of no one else I wanted to help. We moved into a new place this week and on Saturday late evening we had a major plumbing issue, in my opinion. Sewage was coming from the bathtub and master shower and the toilets were clogged. Absolutely disgusting. I immediately went to yelp and started calling 24 hour plumbers. I called 8 plumbers, only one company answered and they were busy til the following morning. I was not about to let sewage sit overnight where my kids take baths. I left 7 messages with other companies and only ONE business called me back. I've dealt with a few different plumbers over the years living in San Diego, but none have been as professional, courteous, or effective as Plumbing Tree. Most recently a plumber subcontracted by a home warranty company to clear a clogged shower drain without success. That company was unable to fix the problem in an hour of work, but Miguel and Anthony from Plumbing Tree were able to fix the problem in a matter of minutes.

This is the second time that I've used Plumbing Tree, the first was for the installation of two toilets during the renovation of our home. That was about 8 months ago and was similarly completed as advertised with absolutely no problems.

Very happy with the repipe that Jerry and his brother did. My neighbor across the street is a plumber and I wouldn't use him because he was WAY overpriced compared to Plumbing Tree and didn't do as good as job on a smaller issue I hired him for before my repipe (plus, his guys aren't as fun and friendly as the guys from Plumbing Tree). These guys are awesome. I called on a Sunday for a non emergency water leak issue. I left a message and within 15 minutes Freddy returned my call and set up a time for the next day. My wife called me about 3:30PM and told me one of our landscaper's employees cut through our water service line and destroyed our pressure regulator. I had originally called another plumbing company to give us an estimate on our 'water hammer' problem, but after 1.5 hours of waiting with no call, I called to cancel. I went to Yelp to find another. Enter Plumbing Tree.
Jerry was very courteous and communicative. He called to let us know he was arriving. When he arrived we explained the problem, and he walked all over the house and even under the house to listen to the sounds. He diagnosed the situation, and gave us a very fair and honest estimate. He left briefly to get the parts he needed, then came back and went to work. The work was done well, and we have no water hammer sounds in the house anymore. He even wore booties every time he entered the home so the dust and dirt from outside was not tracked on our floors. I really appreciated that.

Jerry really helped me out with a scary situation (a small amount of water leaking above my dining room). He was actually available before the scheduled two hour window so it was great to have him in as soon as possible, instead of having wait around. It's so clear that these guys are great at communicating. Very direct with the estimates and wouldn't start into something until you give the go ahead which is really nice.

Love working with Freddy! I had just bought a new house and needed a water line ran to feed the water/ice maker in the new fridge that I purchased. Called several places as I had no idea how much it should cost. Plumbing Tree was approx 1/2 of what the other quotes were. Freddy showed up on time, got right to work and did a great job installing the line. He mentioned that he wasn't expecting to have to drill through tile, but in the end offered me a final price that was exactly in line with what his initial quote was.

He then walking me around and pointed out some items that could become a concern in the future. He wasn't recommending that I fix or address them immediately, but more things to watch out for and think about. He also mentioned that my kitchen sink wasn't properly sealed and that I should watch my water in the kitchen until I could caulk it. I said that I was notoriously bad at caulking and would really appreciate if he would do it for me. Even though he was tight on time, he did caulk around my sink - at no charge to me. It only took 10 minutes, but the fact that he wouldn't even accept a tip for the extra effort really stood out for me. The guy is top quality - both in his professional expertise and in his integrity - would recommend him to anyone without hesitation!

Those guys are great!
Though there were something wrong with their scheduling system and they missed my appointment at the very beginning, they made their great effort to come asap.
Miguel and Jerry were doing a great job I think. Actually nothing went wrong in my house, I just want to do some preventive work. They replaced the old water pressure regulator and installed a thermal expansion tank for my water heater. Now everything looks good!

No one likes dealing with plumbing problems, but it is so nice to know that you have a plumber you like in case anything does come up. I had an urgent issue with my gas line and SDG&E turned off the gas at my house. I had three plumbers come by to check out the situation, including Plumbing Tree, and these guys had the best approach and were able to get to the repairs most quickly. Had I gone with the plumber that had been recommended to me by my realtor it would have cost me literally thousands more as they wanted to dig up the entire pipe, which Freddy did not think was necessary. The team was great to have around, efficient, very tidy, and the repairs passed inspection with no problem! Great experience.

A few weeks ago I had a stopped up kitchen sink and I was concerned because the last time I had it cleared, another plumbing company had used a mechanical router going through the roof and wound up breaking one of the cast iron pipes that I have going in to my main waistline. One of my big concerns was if they did it again that they might break open the main waste line which would have been a real mess. I called and talked to Freddy and we made arrangements for him to come out the next day. I really wanted Freddy because he had the most experience. However the day he was to come out he told me that the night before he had been on another job until 5 in the morning and was going to send Miguel. I was a little apprehensive because Miguel wasn't quite as experienced however Freddy assured me that he really knew what he was doing, and if there was any problem he would come out.

As it turned out Freddy really did know what he was doing. He took a different approach and removed a pipe from underneath the kitchen in a crawl space, and used a small router so I didn't have to go into the waistline. Smart kid. After that since he was there I had a seal on one of my toilets that needed replacing because the toilet was leaking around the bottom. I had this done once before but it has started leaking again. When Miguel took the toilet off to replace the seal, he noticed the flange was sticking up about three eighths of an inch above the floor. He thought about it and then went out to the truck and got some small pieces of wood to use as a shim so the front of the toilet so it would be level with the back. Two other plumbers had failed to do this or even notice it which led to the leaks in the first place. I have used plumbing tree once before and I was very happy with them then as well. They are very capable know what they are doing and do a great job of cleaning up. I highly recommend them.

This company is awesome. They are up front and fair. They took care of my issue even though it was a bit of a head scratcher (they did not charge me for extra time needed to diagnose the issue). I will always use them in the future. I've never hired a plumber before and I had several friend referrals. I found plumbing tree on yelp and saw their stellar review so decided to call them for an estimate and they quickly returned my call informing me of their charge and warranty and availability. I had called several other people in the area and their price was comparable and they seemed the friendliest and most professional.

Jerry arrived and quickly got to work. He was clean and professional and very friendly. He quickly took care of the clogged drain informing me of the possible causes for its clogging. After about 10 minutes it was all cleared and he cleaned his area.

While they have a flat rate of $95 an hour, Jerry was able to get me a student discount of 10% off!

I would highly recommend using Plumbing Tree for your plumbing needs. They were fast, friendly and fair.

Great service, yet again! I called Plumbing Tree for a clogged drain and a tap issue. The slow drain has been going on for years and finally clogged completely a few weeks ago. Because it had issues so long it was it was very dirty. Miguel was my technician and he fixed clog and tap quickly. He spent a few more minutes in the bathroom and then asked me to inspect his work. I found that Miguel, not only fixed my plumbing issues, but he cleaned my disgusting tub. I am impressed and would use Plumbing Tree again.

When I went to install my washer in the new apartment I moved into, I quickly found that both valves were faulty and needed to be replaced. Miguel R and Jerry came and quickly switched them out and I was on my way to doing laundry within an hour. Had a common sewage line back up flooding both my bathrooms with sewer water at 11:30PM, HOA emergency line didn't work so I called Plumbing Tree. We highly recommend Freddy from Plumbing Tree!!! We had a a serious plumbing emergency on Sunday where our bedroom carpet was completely saturated. It was the section closest to the master bathroom but we did not see any visible water coming from the toilet or bathroom. He offered to come that Sunday but since we didn't see any visible water present , we told him to come first thing the next day. He was super professional and assessed the situation right away. He informed us that the toilet base was leaking which made it soak under into the carpet. He removed and replaced wax seal and removed roots around the pipe as well. We also had some additional clogs in the bathroom/ kitchen sinks and had a leaky shower valve in the guest bath. He fixed all our plumbing needs in a super timely manner and was very professional from start to finish! We had such a great experience working with Freddy of Plumbing Tree and will always turn to him for any future plumbing needs!

Not so stoked on paying $100 to have a Moen cartridge replaced ($15 part, took them 10 minutes), or $250 for a pressure regulator installation ($80 part, took them 50 minutes). Parts were marked up 2-3 times and while they quoted me an hourly (about $100 per), I ended up paying about 30% more via a fixed price required for these two jobs... The leak on the Moen was also caused by the installation of the pressure regulator and we now have another leak in our master, also caused by this. Going to remodel, so not fixing it, but also not happy about it. My buddy who is a master plumber back east said they should have installed or recommended installing a water expansion tank and that we will likely have leaks by our water heater at some point. Will find someone else to handle this. Nice guys and all, but not a great experience.

Discovered we had a clogged kitchen drain line in our new house on Thursday evening and called the guys at Plumbing Tree early, early Friday morning. When I was buying my house, I wanted the water main checked because there was a big tree with massive roots in the front yard. I called Plumbing Tree and Freddie came out and scoped the drain! As it turned out, the main lead to the other side of the driveway and wasn't even close to the tree, thank God! He also gave us a quote for work that needed to be done in the house. After we bought the house and got settled in, I had Plumbing Tree come out to replace all the angle stops, water supply lines, the pressure regulator and the water heater. Miguel and David came out and spent the entire day working on the projects! They were very professional, knowledgeable, and did a fantastic job!! And what I really loved is that they took pride in their work, making sure everything looked aesthetically nice and they cleaned up after they were done. About 2 weeks later, I noticed one of the angle stops had a very small leak. So, I called Plumbing Tree and Freddie came right out to tighten it down. Freddie also took the time to check all the other angle stops, the water heater and the pressure regulator. This is a great company and I would highly recommend them! They are quick to respond, very friendly and actually care about the customer. It's nice to see a company that actually provides great customer service and takes such care and pride in their work!

My water heater (still under warranty) leaked water all over my garage. I called Home Depot who sent me to a company they contract with to do the warranty work. That company gave me the run around and left me feeling very uneasy about having them work on my plumbing. (won't go into details, but beware. Also, other licensed plumbers can do warranty work... you don't have to use the company Home Depot has their contract with)

So I called Plumbing Tree and spoke to Freddie. They had fixed an 'unrelated' leak I had last year and I really liked the way they did business. No harsh sales tactics or intimidation at all. He sent out 2 plumbers (Miguel & Miguel) and they diagnosed the problem... which was mainly my water pressure where it comes into the house. They fixed the PRV on the water heater & put in a new pressure valve where it connects to my house.

Miguel & Miguel were both very professional and explained everything that they did (before & after), and also provided me with other information regarding the water heater. I would not hesitate to use Freddie & his team again and I highly recommend them.

Absolutely hands down best service I've had from the beginning of setting the appointment to the completion of my repair. Worked with me and my work schedule easing my mind with a courtesy call that my technician Jerry would be at my house at 5pm. OMG he was there on time and very nice explained what he needed to do and began what was gonna be a fight to remove a very corroded shower fixture that probably had been there 20 years. He of course won the battle besides fixing my shower in my guest bathroom and making my day he did it in record time too! After dealing with an incompetent plumber, I checked Yelp and saw Plumbing Tree had good ratings so called them. That was last September and they were fantastic. They fixed the leak and the bill was very reasonable (nice senior discount). Sure enough a 2nd toilet just started having the same problem so I called them. Once again they fixed everything very quickly. They are very professional and make sure not to make a mess . . . even put cloth booties over their shoes before they come in the house. We had a toilet running that would not stop...leaking water at the base and could not turn off the valve. My neighbor recommended Plumbing Tree.....what a GREAT referral. Cannot say enough good things about Freddy and his crew at Plumbing Tree. We hired them to dig an ~80 foot trench for a new gas line, and repipe a 1920s cottage. This was an emergency repair because SDG&E had detected a gas leak and shut off the gas meter. Freddy and crew railed to the challenge, putting in 10-12 hour days every day, during the worst May heat wave on record, digging through tree roots and under retaining walls. This was a big, tough job, and they just crushed it. On top of that, everyone in the crew was very pleasant, very easy to deal with. Just a really nice bunch of guys.

BTW, we found Plumbing Tree on Yelp, and I'm glad we hired them. The reviews speak for themselves.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I highly recommend these folks! Extremely flexible and friendly. He did not only rectify the conflict with the confusion on the schedule, but he also offered some generous discount. Thanks Freddy! To Miguel, awesome job for locating the source of water damage and the leak. With your findings and fantastic investigative work, now my parents have a better fighting chance to have the builder take on the responsibility for the damage on our unit and our poor neighbor below. I also appreciated the fact that you took your time to show and explain to me everything you were doing. I learned something. I believe complete transparency is an excellent practice for any business. I felt like we were team during the process. You were listening to my concerns, feedback, and suggestion. If the automotive world (e.g. mechanic shops and car dealers) were doing the same thing -- being transparent, I believe all customers will not feel ripped off/cheated and would have a greater confidence with the companies/businesses. Anyway, this is really my first review. I don't give reviews, but these guys truly deserves some recognition! Great job guys!

Freddy is very knowledgeable and taught me a few tricks on installing faucets. Freddy and Miguel installed three bathroom faucets and a shower diverter. They were not the least expensive plumber I found, when calling around. However I called on a Friday afternoon and was able to get a Saturday afternoon appointment. The called ahead, arrived early and finished in the time they estimated. The did quality work, so I have piece of mind, so the few extra dollars were well worth. I highly recommend Plumbing Tree.

Once again we have been so pleased by our experience with Plumbing Tree. They schedule quickly;(Nellie at the desk helped us send photos and has the patience of a saint!!) are polite and take good care of your house while they work; don't laugh at your problem which anyone should have been able to fix; work quickly; and charge fairly. we needed to replace our sewer line from the front our house to the cleanout near the sidewalk. about 40 ft or so.we called plumbing tree and talked to freddy.he came over and in a few days emailed us an estimate that was best price we could find. the next week freddy, miguel,alex and crew started work on the sewer line and were so efficient they finished a day early. they were professional, knowledgable and we were never inconvenienced once. and after digging out a 40 ft trench, they put it back together as if the yard was never even touched.we highly recommend plumbing tree for any plumbing issues you may have.

The real way to judge a business is how they handle things that go wrong. I had Plumbing Tree come out for some additional work and there was an unfortunate incident...details are unimportant. What is important is that the way Freddy has handled it. Amazing. Came out right away to do another repair, and accepted full responsibility for a defective hose and the impact of the defect. This is all part of a bigger project involving other contractors and Freddy has been attentive (checking how we are doing and if we need anything), and patient while we have to go through other phases before finishing his part. There's more to the story but let me just say Freddy is man of great integrity, and always makes sure his customers are well taken care of. A stressful situation is made better dealing with Freddy. Don't hesitate using him and his team. Every business owner should take a lesson from him in customer service.

I called Plumbing Tree based on their Yelp reviews. I'm glad I did. They provided a plumber the same day. He, Miguel, was on time, polite and went right to work. He quickly solved the problem, and was on his way in just over an hour. He put on booties over his shoes, which I appreciated and cleaned up perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

This company is awesome! I've had quotes from other plumbers which were twice as much, and they could not come on time. Called Plumbing Tree. Right away, I was told how their service and pricing works and what to expect. Gave me a very good appointment time within two hour window. Their technician, David, called 30 minutes before appointment time and said that he was coming. He arrived well before his scheduled window, which I appreciated. He was very courteous, professional, a good listener with excellent advice. I needed kitchen pipe that leads towards the sewer lines cleaned out because of a blockage. He examined it, made assessment that 25 foot snake is probably enough for the job, but instead brought 100 foot snake just to make sure that there are no surprises, and no blockages were downstream and ran the whole spool up and down. As he was working on the pipe, he walked me through The process, and explained everything. He even gave me suggestions on the maintenance, and what to do to prevent grease clogs, and which products to use. He cleaned everything after himself and put everything back together as it was. He made sure my house was clean, and he was wearing shoe covers every time he stepped inside my house, which I really appreciated. Service was extremely professional, the warranty is great, and I would absolutely and definitely use them again next time! Thank you David!

LONG STORY (short story below) -

First we had Plumbing Tree out to unclog some pipes, and they tried a few different quick options before we realized that tree roots had broken through our old cast iron pipes. The owner Freddy and his assistant Chris worked hard to get it all out, and they stood behind their work. And the final bill was less than what I've had other plumbers charge for similar work.

When the landlord gave us the OK to have the old cast iron pipes replaced, we had Plumbing Tree come back out. Freddy used a camera to check the whole pipe to make sure there were no other issues, and gave us a quote based on that. Little did we know at the time that the builders had poured concrete around one section of the pipe and that the dirt in the crawl space was almost as hard as cement as well. Between the need for a jackhammer and the digging of a deep trench in the crawl space, the job took much longer than we could ever imagine.

But Freddy and Chris never once let on to what a pain this job had become. There's no way the job was easy, but they never complained, and they smiled and kept us informed all along the way. The finished job should have cost double what Freddy quoted, based solely on the extra time it took alone, but Freddy managed to keep things within the budget. Again, there were no surprises because as he went along, Freddy explained everything in plain English, and he didn't talk down to us because we didn't know the ins and outs of plumbing (you know the kind of service people I'm talking about).

SHORT STORY -

Above all, extremely professional with very competitive prices. Also punctual, very clean (they even wore those booty things over their shoes), polite, honest, great communication. Freddy and Chris are hard workers that earn their pay. I honestly have never had this much luck with a plumber before. If you're in need, Plumbing Tree definitely deserves a try.

Called around 5 pm and Freddie was able to send someone out at just after 7 pm to fix my clogged kitchen sink. Miguel and Miguel were quick and professional, getting the sink unclogged in under 20 min, and even cleaning up afterwards, which I have never seen a plumber do before. Obviously a clogged sink is a simple job for a plumber, but I was impressed by the evening availability, promptness, and overall great attitude of the plumbers. These are my plumbers now.

Very good service. Miguel came to my home to unclog a drain. I was dealing with a serious back up. He put the camera through the pipe to see what was causing the backup and found some weeds. Miguel did a great job in clearing the weeds that were causing the back up. There was also a mix up with a return visit and they had to reschedule to another day. Freddy did not hesitate to credit me for the inconvenience. I would definitely use them again.

Best plumbing experiences I've ever had. I had Dave and Chris out to install a new water heater and pressure valve. They kept me informed throughout the whole process, never pressured me, and were amazingly thorough with the installation. When they were done they checked the pressure of interior faucets - all were fine except the kitchen. He checked the sprayer and that pressure was fine; however, the faucet was pitiful. It turned out to be an old faucet. I asked for recommendations of a good replacement, they gave me their opinion, and I went out and purchased it in addition to a new hot water dispenser (to replace the one that had gone out a week or two earlier). So had Dave back in a couple of days and he installed both with a smile on his face after a very long day - the communication with the company is second to none. They are honest with their prices and warranties. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I did my research with a lot of companies before I decided on them; I know I made the right decision.

Freddy has done work for us on three occasions now and I can't praise him highly enough. He is a fantastic guy to do business with and the quality of his work is excellent. He diagnoses the problem and ensures that you understand what the fix is, giving an honest and accurate estimate of what will be involved. Every time he's done work for us his estimate of what would be involved was spot on. I've dealt with many plumbers in San Diego but he's the only one I'd recommend.

I had a plumbing problem occur at 7:30 pm on a Friday night (always the best time for that) and it required that I shut the water off to the house. Not a great situation when you have a wife, a 2 yo, and a baby at home. I'm pretty handy, but I thought for once I would need to have a plumber come out to fix the problem. I found these guys on Yelp, gave them a call, and Freddy called me back within a few minutes. He walked me through how to replace the shower cartridge myself, and gave me advice on which specific tool to purchase. He even suggested I text him a pic of the tool once I got to Home Depot, to ensure it was the right one. He then offered to walk me through the repair over the phone (by this time it was 8:30 pm). Thankfully I was able to get it fixed, and the water's back on (it's now 9:15 pm). Needless to say, this was excellent customer service that easily deserved a 5 star review. If I ever have any plumbing problems in the future, I'll be sure to call this company. Freddy went above and beyond to ensure that I was able to get the problem fixed on my own. A+ customer service, and I would easily recommend them to anyone based solely on the way he handled my situation.

I contacted Plumbing Tree because of the many 5 Star reviews I saw on YELP. I spoke with Freddy who reassured me I would be just as happy with their service and he was right. Freddy later confirmed Miguel R. could arrive a little earlier and did so within minutes. A couple of days earlier, another company had kept me on hold, then waiting for returned calls and then never bothered to call or show up! Miguel was friendly and professional and surely put on those shoe booties before walking in as other customers had mentioned. We soon discovered the condo complex water supply would need to be turned off for at least a few minutes and with urgency, I ran out to place 10 emergency notifications throughout the complex. Miguel turned off the water supply, came back up to my unit to complete the first part of the job and did so within 15 minutes. The water supply was turned back on so quickly that residents, more than likely, were not inconvenienced. Miguel was accurate in his assessments, he was concise and finished the needed work within a couple of hours. If you want peace of mind when it comes to selecting a company to handle your home plumbing needs, selecting Plumbing Tree may do it for you. I have provided a 5 Star review and hope you will be just as pleased.

My toilet was leaking water and the caulk was wearing out at the bottom of the toilet. I gave Freddy at the Plumbing Tree a call early that morning, he gave me a time that he would be available and he called 30 mins before he headed to my house. He was very friendly, curteous and respectful. He allowed me to ask questions for all of my concerns and thoroughly explained the problem. He finished the job fast and now my toilet is like new!
