I'm so happy to have found Kelley! She was very punctual. Kelley installed curtain rods and curtains, several cat shelves and steps, and earthquake-proofed a tall, heavy bookshelf.

We had 6 random jobs around our home that we had been putting off for weeks... Okay, months...Okay, years. Kelley was professional, punctual, efficient, and reasonably priced. She was able to repair a couple doors, hang a mirror, install a curtain rod, do some caulking and repair a ceiling fan light in about 2 hours. What a relief to have those tasks done and know that Kelley is a phone call away! Highly recommend.

Kelley did a lovely job fixing a few things around the house. the star attraction was a very stubborn patio slider which she tamed into compliance. She also assessed a couple of other probable jobs for the fate, and when I get the money together, I will be calling her back.

Kelley is the type of person I love to work with.  She is quiet and simply takes care of the job!  The MOST important part of working with Kelley is her honesty.  We asked Kelley to install 3 ceiling fans in our home and 2 went smoothly to completion.  However, on the third one, she ran into an issue in our 66 year old home, where there were two circuits running into the box, and unfortunately, had wiring so old it could not be used.  In this case, Kelly indicated that she should not proceed, but that we should get a licensed and insured electrician to assess the current wiring and repair/replace if needed.  This level of honesty is critical, as she could have proceeded, but we could have ended up with bigger issues down the road with the wiring.

Kelley is a pleasure to be around and I HIGHLY recommend her for handywoman jobs around your home.  Kelley will be open and honest about what she should or should not do in your home, and this is extremely import ant in the case above.

Wow! We are definitely saving her number! She was punctual and arrived as promised. Great Communication all along the way. 4 of our kitchen drawers were coming apart and the slider rails were non functional. She was quick, thorough, and fixed them perfectly for a very reasonable price. She's the real deal folks. We highly recommend her.

I reached out to She Fixed It over the summer to ask if Kelley could take care of some small issues around my condo.  She was quick to respond and let me know what she could tackle from my list (drywall repair, window caulking, bathroom tile caulking, and painting).

Kelley came by and did a really good job! She has good attention to detail and was able to take care of things in a reasonable amount of time.  I will keep her in mind for future jobs.

Kelley stopped by this week to do a # of odd jobs around my home that I hadn't had a chance to get to.  She was friendly, quick, communicative and reasonably priced.  In the course of a half-day, she installed a # of light fixtures, put together a  cabinet/hutch, installed much-needed doorframe insulation, put up wall shelving and fixed a handful of loose recessed ceiling light trims.  Kelley is an amazing handywoman and someone I will definitely reach out to again.  I highly recommend her!

I contacted Kelley to adjust my front door after my failed attempts to get the door to close properly and $300+ in police false alarm fines.  I live near a canyon and need to have my doors adjusted every few years.  The last handyperson took a shortcut and sanded the thresholds without fixing the issue.  Kelley took the time to shim the door hinges and adjust the latch.

I hired Kelley to install two grab bars in my mom's bathroom. She also sanded down the edge of a door that had been sticking for weeks. She finished and cleaned up in under an hour with reasonable rates. Kelley was friendly and I felt comfortable and safe having her around my mom and me. I would definitely be interested in hiring her again in the future.

Kelly is great.  I've used her twice now to paint doors and clean my rain gutters.  It's difficult to find someone who will work on small jobs and I will continue to use her in the future.

She fixed it and fixed it she did!!!  What can I say?  Kelley is everything we've been looking for: professional, efficient, knowledgeable, experienced, and transparent.  I had reached out to four handy people including her, and she was the only one to set a date and give me a high-level quote.

It seems to me that there are a lot of handy people out there that are not licensed and not willing to tackle small jobs.  Thankfully, this is the type of work Kelley prefers.  She is busy, but she is absolutely worth the wait.

My sister and I bought a house last year together.  Since then, we have had our share of unprofessional, scammy male service providers who jack the price up because 1) they assume we don't know any better, 2) we are women, and 3) they think we are about ten years younger than we are.  It's sad and frustrating and has made us avoid dealing with male service providers as much as possible.

Yesterday, Kelley arrived promptly on time to our house.  I showed her what needed to get done.  She proceeded to knock out everything one by one.  She's fast and efficient, but pays attention to even the smallest detail.  We had a flimsy fireplace mantle that no one would touch.  Kelley took that bad boy apart and went to work.  Let me tell you.  It is rock solid now.  Thanks, Kelley!

If it wasn't clear already, Kelley will be our go-to for all of our maintenance needs.  I'm already working on my second list of things for her to knock out of us.  I just wish we could use her for EVERYTHING.  Yes, she is THAT good.

She repaired the fan in our bathroom and it works better than I remember it ever work. Additionally, she replaced the  ceiling fan and light fixture in our front room. We had been without a fan for nearly six months. As the days are getting warmer, we are so grateful to have this working now. This is not the last time we will contact her.

Kelley is fantastic. Among other things she fixed a 9 foot rolling solar shade that others were unable to fix!

I have an old fold out door that has never been right since I bought this home 2 years ago. I got a little aggressive one day and broke it off the track and literally broke a wood piece. Had another handyman come by and he gave me a lecture and said he'd be back and never came back. Which is fine cause he didn't get any of my money.  Kelley was on time and diagnosed the problem right away and got the job done quickly. A 2 year problem fixed in an hour!! Highly recommend her. It's clear she knows what she's doing and is good at it!! Sometimes you don't need mansplaining and just need someone to get it done. :)

Best. Handyperson. Ever. Kelley is a no-nonsense, get-to-work, get-it-done professional. All with a pleasant, easy-going demeanor. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. I got in over my head trying to DIY an LED strip install in my teenage daughter's bedroom. I watched a number of YouTube videos trying to figure it out, landed on trying to copy a professional install with mounted aluminum L-channels, bought all of the pieces, then realized this was a much bigger project than I could do on my own. Kelley came in, saved me from myself, it took us several tries to figure it out as I had not purchased the right parts but she was patient as we worked through it and at the end of the day I have a super happy daughter and an awesome looking LED track along the ceiling, that I can easily remove without stripping the paint or wallpaper whenever this latest teen LED trend is over. After very quickly learning I was in over my head with a wall-mounted shelf project, I sought out some pro help. Kelley stood out almost immediately, and I can see why. She responded to my initial cry for help within 12 hours and was able to come by within 36.

Upon arrival, she was warm and friendly, and began turning my hopeful vision into a tangible reality. Her time estimate was right on, and the eventual invoice was exactly what I expected (that's not the time you wanna see a surprise!)

So now, anytime comes by and sees my wall-mounted desk, I can gladly tell them She Fixed It.

Kelley is punctual, proficient and extremely nice! She loves animals and my dogs love her! She listened to my needs and decided the most efficient plan of action. She showed up with lots of tools and supplies, everything we needed to get these random jobs done. She genuinely enjoys the work she does and it shows, thank you so much Kelley!

The work that She Fixed It did was done fine, however she barely completed any of the tasks we had requested. I was confused by the amount of repairs that She Fixed It did not feel confident in tackling although we sent clear list of requested repair with photos. In addition, She Fixed It had horrible communication. We receive no notifications when they had arrived or left. This meant no time stamp for how many hours she actually worked even thought we were charged the largest amount. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and hire a professional first and avoid the headache of working with She Fixed It.

Look no further. Everything about our experience was fantastic, from booking an appointment to saying goodbye. Kelley is a hard worker and a great problem solver and look forward to working with her again. It may take a day or two to hear back from her but she is definitely worth the wait.

Dec25: Edited to reply to Comment: My apologies on inaccurate statement about the tip. I was wrong. After the comment, I did find my invoice and found that I misread the invoice and for 20 days since having the service done, I have thought that 20% written was for tip. I was wrong. Had I checked the math, I would have figured this out that day. I was not aware there was a 20% markup on materials, so that did not register that 20% was on materials only and not for service. Rush glance on Dec 5, it looked like materials was $18 and since 20% tip was around $50+ on $270... i guesstimated that's what the other prices on the page were. My mistake and invoice is now included to show how I was simply wrong. Turns out I didn't tip at all. I honestly thought it was already included in the $315.16. So sorry, Kelley!

I do want to add in regards to the comment about the hourly rates... that though rates are posted elsewhere (on her website and Facebook) finding her here on yelp, I was not aware of rates of her site as that is not on her Yelp profile nor mentioned in any of our private messages. I found out about the hourly rate just an hour or so before receiving invoice. Still, I am happy with service and I recommend her great work.

Dec 24 original review: She did a great job.. before and after pics posted. I had a slow leak that went in for about a week and was not aware of. I let it dry out for a few weeks but finally needed to get it fixed as the wood was warped and didn't want it to get even more disgusting. I got a quote from her $135 for labor and travel and materials she said would be around $20). Her quote was lower than all the others' quotes. I also mentioned potential faucet install and she said they can be tricky so it's $70-120. With her quote and great reviews, I said yes let's do it.

While she was here, we found that the old faucet that caused the leaks was not fixable. She had to go to Home Depot to get materials for under the sink anyway and so I decided to get the faucet installed too. She offered to
pick one out but I went out to fetch a new faucet I know I would love (went to Costco and Home Depot and bought 1 from each store).

We both met up at home again, she proceeded on work underneath and installed the faucet. Everything looked great. She cleaned up after herself well and went to write up an invoice.

Got the invoice bill and it said $60/hr + materials + travel time 20% tip. Total $315 and some coins.
It was sticker shock but when I analyzed it, it lines up with her quote, when i broke it down.

$135 + materials + travel for Undersink
$70-$120 faucet installed

She's an awesome person, she did a great job. I knew it would cost more because I added the faucet installation.

I did not know before hand and learned upon invoice was that travel was $15 and 20% tip is added to to make the grand total that I was asked to pay.

I paid it. I have had services done before. I do tip 20% but seeing it on invoice and part of grand total was a first.

I love my sink and glad all is well now.

Kelley is fast, professional, and courteous. I've had her over several times to fix a variety of things in my old craftsman house (baseboards and trim, doors, painting, hanging house numbers and curtain rods, etc) and every time I'm amazed at how quickly she gets things done and how nice it looks when she is finished! I highly recommend her.

I'm almost afraid to tell you how happy I am with Kelly and her work for fear she'll be too busy for me in the future. But She Fixed It deserves your business.

Kelly is professional, thorough, personable, organized, and neat. She arrived 5 minutes early and went right to work replacing the screens in my windows. For 2 of them the frames were rotten and she built new frames. She worked hard and didn't dawdle. She earned her fee. And now I'm not embarrassed to open my windows.

Kelley is quite busy, but she is well worth waiting for!  She installed two wall lamps for us, as well as fixing a problematic bifold door.  Kelley also fixed several other small irritants while she was here.  I couldn't believe that she had both lamps securely mounted less than 45 minutes after she arrived (on time)!  She is very pleasant and  knowledgeable; we will definitely be calling on her again.

Submitted my work request & info via their website form on June 16th.  No response after 48 hours, not even to say they were too busy.

I was very happy with the repairs and the price. She showed up on time quoted a price. Started the work, cleaned up after repairs were completed. I would recommend her to my friends if you want a reliable Handy person for repairs around your home.

I searched on Yelp and decided that this was the person I wanted to do my handy-doings around the house, and I am so glad I did! Kelley was friendly and professional, she came in ready to go, saw what we needed, and went right to work. We had her shorten a chain on a chandelier and replace a light fixture.  The old fixture was set aside with all its parts for reuse and not damaged in any way.  The job we hired her for was done in an hour, lickety split!
When she first arrived, we didn't hear her because our doorbell had suddenly broken, so she fixed that too on the way out!  We will definitely be using her again.  Her website is very useful.  She Fixed It!

Kelley is a pleasure to deal with! First, she's responsive: I contacted four different handyman services asking if they can help me do a couple of small things around the house. Two of them haven't responded at all, and one said I should call but then he never picked up the phone. Kelley responded to my messages even though she was out of town that week!

Most importantly, she showed up on time and finished all the items on my list: from filling wall holes to installing power outlets and a new shower. She's skilled and efficient, she cleans up after the work is done, and also she has a great website with all the relevant information (e.g. rates). Had to do last minute hanging of mirrors and and medicine cabinet in our bathrooms. She was reasonably priced and did a great job. These reviews don't lie! Kelley is a San Diego gem. We hired her recently to do a few jobs in our new house that we didn't have the skills to tackle ourselves. Kelley was awesome! I just moved into an old craftsman house and was struggling with anchoring things to the walls due to the old plaster. She was able to mount everything perfectly and was super friendly and professional (plus my dogs loved her!)

Holy Ikea Lonset bed slats!  I bought an Ikea Malm king size bed with the Lonset bed slats.  These new Ikea slats are high quality, but wow, labor intensive and unwieldy to assemble. I found She Fixed It on Yelp and Kelley came out on Christmas Eve afternoon to put my bed together!  She was professional, efficient, and trustworthy.  Excellent work. Highly recommend!

Kelly is an extremely thorough professional and a pleasure to do business with. I needed my exhaust fans in the bathrooms and kitchen area cleaned (had not been cleaned for years by previous owner) and also needed to install some towel hooks in the bathrooms. Everything was done in record time. She also fixed the alignment of a malfunctioning door knob (we thought we would need to change out the entire door knob, but she saved us money by just making some minor adjustments which was amazing!)....Of all the handy persons that I communicated with, she was the one who knew exactly what needed to be done just from the descriptions that I sent, which was an indication of her experience and talent. I will be  requesting her assistance for other home projects and would highly recommend her services!

Thought I would leave a review for Kelley even though I didn't end up needing her services as we decided to hold off and focus on other projects at the house.  I sent her an email explaining what I was looking for and she replied within 24 hours.  She was very accommodating and honest as to how long and how much it would cost to get the job done.  I will be emailing her again when we are ready to proceed with our project.

My new handy-person!  Kelley knows her stuff. I needed something to seal the gap between the bottom of my security door and the ground. With the weather so nice, I wanted to keep my front door open, but if I did that, I would have had unwelcome visitors, like lizards, just wander in. Long overdue review!  We asked Kelley to help with a few items around the house (picture hanging, installing a magnetic doorstop, mounting a wall charger for a vacuum) - she handled everything wonderfully.  She was also kind enough to come out early on July 4th so we could get everything done before a family party later in the day.  Would recommend and use her again in a heartbeat.

I've worked with other contractors who would have attempted to do the work and either not finished, or did a low-quality job to fit the time, so I appreciated Kelley's professionalism and realistic assessment of the work I needed done.

I've now worked with K twice. She has been great about communicating and getting the job finished. During our last project, she came back to fix an issue with the dog door that she had installed and was prompt and responsive. I appreciate being able to support an honest woman-owned business in a field that can often feel so old school and icky if you are a woman and don't know much about home repairs.

Kelley is really, really good!  She got back to me later the same day that I messaged her and was able to stop by the following day.  A next day turn around after a mid-day message is unheard of.  She explained the work, made suggestions for improvements, and then completed the job with no visible indication that she'd been there.  That's impressive.  Give her what she asks for, it's worth it.

She listened to what I had asked for, and was great in having an open dialogue with me to help set expectations and make sure we were both prepared. Responded fairly quickly, but declined the job because she said that she couldn't do it because a contractor would be required. However, that wasn't the case. Wish she could have just been honest and said that she wasn't available or didn't want the work.

Had our tangled window blind unstuck, as well as had a dresser re-assembled & various small repairs that had been accumulating completed - our handyperson was prompt in communication, on-time, professional and completed our task list throughly and completely, and her price was very reasonable.  I also mentioned to her that our windows tend to stick - lo and behold, all of our windows have now been sliding smoothly since her visit!  Will definitely be using her services again and would also recommend to friends!

I hired Kelly to do a job on my behalf and after accepting she notified us it was on the understanding that she couldn't get to the repair for three weeks which we understood and accepted.  Two days prior to the agreed upon date she cancels saying I don't do repairs in this area.  To me this just talks to the lack of thoroughness of how she does things.  We specifically talked to her about the job and its location, now she decides she doesn't want to go where the job is and cancels. She has left us high and dry searching for a new repair person.  Kelly's business practices are very poor and for this reason I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

Kelly just left my house and she couldn't have been a nicer person to work with. I had her install a glass shower door which was problematic to say the least, she was professional and was able to troubleshoot the installation and made sure it was perfect. She had the right tools for the job and even had some screws on hand that she used to help secure the door to the wall. I had her then install some towel bars in my bathrooms. She did everything professionally and quickly. I highly recommend her work and don't hesitate to hire her to do your home maintenance.

First time homeowners here. We had a wooden windowsill in our shower that was rotting really badly. Kelley made a new sill out of PVC board that looks great and will now be waterproof.

She's also done some flawless painting for us!

I had a couple of shelves that I needed to have installed.  As a single woman with no experience putting anything on the walls other than pictures.  Kelly was so professional, on time and the prices were in my budget.  She was proficient and I am very satisfied with my shelves and will be using her in the future.

Just an update.  We've had Kelley out a couple of more times to work on projects for us, and she's now our official handy-person of choice.  I'm happy to say that the great qualities we saw the first time out have proven to be consistent.  It's nice to have somebody we can trust and count on!  Love her, and recommend her every chance we get.

Kelley was great! I had a 12 inch hole in my drywall behind my front door. She provided me with an estimate and an expected schedule to complete the job. She showed up on time and quickly did the work. And it turned out great! I definitely recommend her!

Kelley was great! We had a whole list of things we need help with and Kelley counseled us on all of them. We prioritized a couple of plumbing issues including a leak of unknown origin under our kitchen sink. Kelley diagnosed the problem, proposed a couple of different possible solutions and then executed the repair plan by installing a new faucet and sealing everything up. She left us with a kitchen sink that was in much better shape than when the sink was originally installed. She totally Fixed It !!! We'll definitely call her again.

I will not hesitate to give Kelley as many star as I can.  After my handyman retired, I have been searching for a good handy person like him for quite sometime, I am glad my search finally over and I found Kelley based on all the great reviews here.  She spent less than 3 hours fixing all the small jobs in my house in a professional fashion.  She was responsive to my email inquiry, 15 minutes earlier than our schedule, priced reasonably, great in communication, keen to details.  Very happy with her great work and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a good handy person.  Kelley, thank you for your job well done and wish you can see my husband's smile on his face when he turn on the heat in the bathroom last night :).  Will call you later to install a new ceiling fan.

Kelley is fantastic!  Very responsive to emails, showed up when she was scheduled, and did a great job installing a new rectangular shower curtain rod over a claw foot tub. Very nice person with fair prices.  I highly recommend her!

I live on the east coast and own a condo in Seattle.  I had a specific repair which looked more difficult than what I would be able to do.  I found Kelley on Yelp and was reluctant to just rely on all of the positive reviews she had received.  But I'm glad I did.  She responded immediately, scheduled the job, did what would have been a fairly complicated job for me in less than the time she anticipated.  The billing was clear, honest and accurate.  The tenant on site said that Kelley was efficient and competent but not in a rush and valued doing good work.  She returned to finish the job but the material had not cured so instead of doing a sloppy job she scheduled another date.  All of these characteristics are in short supply in the world today.

I am grateful to have found Kelley on Yelp. She installed two new toilets for me and hauled the old ones away to be recycled. She did great work at fair prices and was clear in her communication. Working with her was a great experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend her.

When I bought my house, there was a long list of things that needed to be done, both small (like fixing window cranks) and large (like rebuilding part of a deck). We talked about it and I gave her the inspection report. She did great work, was upfront when she needed to bring someone else in for part of the job and basically just took care of everything. So many times dealing with contractors is 90% trying to coordinate schedules, taking time off work, etc. Kellye made all of that really easy. The work she did and coordinated would have taken me a year to get done without her instead of just a few days.

She Fixed It is a professional, courteous, and punctual service.  She works hard and has very reasonable rates.  Kelley (the owner) has done numerous projects in my condo ranging from installing a medicine cabinet, mounting my TV, putting up crown moulding, to painting.  Her painting was especially well done--I couldn't believe she didn't even need painter's tape.  The edging was super professional, and she painted a ceiling around my chandelier without a mistake.  I plan to hire her again when another project comes up.

Kelley's work is FIRST CLASS! I hired Kelley to install a new cabinet and counter top to hold a new laundry room sink. This job required some difficult planning, measuring and cutting to compensate for pipes in my laundry room in order to install the cabinet and counter top, and it required knowledge of plumbing to re-align and install some water lines.  Kelley gave me a reasonable estimate, and when she came out to do the job she was on time and prepared. Her work was very professional, she had all the right tools and she knew exactly what to do. I was very impressed with Kelley's ability to figure out some difficult installation issues. Even though it was a fairly complicated installation, she did the job within the estimated time frame and it turned out exactly as I had wanted it. I'm really happy with the results and I would recommend Kelley to all of my friends and co-workers who are looking for a competent, reliable Handy Person.
