We had an old leaky water heater and needed a repair. They offered a replacement with a tankless one at a reasonable cost and completed the whole job in a few hours with service next day, too. Well I bought a house with a slab leak. After calling multiple places about getting the leak found and the slab rerouted I found Matt at Armstrong. He showed up for an estimate and come back a day or so later and rerouted everything. Very neatly too through the attic and into the closets. I only had 3 small wall openings. Fantastic for a reroute. I learned so much while they were here. They were so knowledgeable and had no issue with me asking questions all day. Great experience. They will be back soon to do another job related to my kitchen remodel.

I found Armstrong Plumbing through Yelp. I read the reviews and I was more than satisfied that he would take care of my plumbing needs.
I called, talk to the owner Matt who was quick to schedule an appointment. Matt arrived on time, explained the entire process of replacing my wall unit. I was so impress that I scheduled him weeks later for more plumbing needs and upgrades. I already have a quote to replace the water heater in my house. I'm all set for when it does eventually break down. I found Matt to be friendly, easy going and professional.

I needed my toilet and shower moved from one place to another. These guys were great. They came in with a good estimate with everything that was included. From the start to end they wore their mask which must be tough for the effort they put in. They put in our tub and left the site prepped for me, a beginning DIYer, to do my tiling. There was a little leak that all of a sudden happened and they tightened it up quickly without fuss. What can I tell you, these are my guys for any plumbing needs from now on.

I needed help connecting outdoor kitchen to the hookups (drain, water, gas). They came
in time, provided a reasonable estimate(significantly below the other two I got), and then came another day to do the job. They did a quality work, always on time as promissed. When I called them to ask them to come back to address one issue with the gas connection they made, they came back a second time and addressed the issue.  I would recommend them.
One area for improvement is the cleanup after the work is done. Having in mind the price and the quality of the work they provided, I was OK with swiping the floors afterwards myself.

Used Armstrong Plumbing for the 2nd time and do not plan on using them again. The first time they fixed a leak under our sink, came quick and charged a fair price. Forgot to turn our drinking water purifier back on, but came back without charging for an extra trip and turned it on the same day and were very nice about it.

The second time, our toilet had been flushing all by itself day and night, and Mark came out and assessed the job; it was a replacement flapper, and he just needed to go get it from Home Depot, a 10 minute drive. He was gone for about an hour. When he came back with the $15 part, it was about twenty minutes to install and then explain what he did. Then the bill, $160. Whoa, sticker shock. This wasn't an emergency call, at night or on a weekend. It was scheduled a day ahead. He knocked off ten bucks as a Christmas discount. I appreciate the thought but will be looking for someone with more affordable prices for the work hereafter.

Matt and his partner did an excellent job repairing my drain. It required jackhammering the slab in a tight space but they got it done and completed the job with little mess. Matt is up to date on homeowners insurance also and help with us with the process. They also have all the connections for repairs need, drying & treatment of the flooded area. The response time was excellent as well as the whole job experience. High recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

Thank you Matt, for spending time on the phone diagnosing a leak in my front yard. It ended up being an old sprinkler line that had a disintegrated valve my husband will replace but I have a new go-to plumber should anything unsavory happen at home. He spent time trouble shooting with me, made sure I understood how to check my water meter for leaks- not something I have done before, but easily learned over the phone because of his thorough, illustrative communication style!

Before I was off to check my meter, I had the info for the Leak Diagnostic person, and a time slot to follow up just in case. About an hour later Matt called back to tell me he had a cancellation for the next morning. We had just discovered the leaky culprit and were glad that it wasn't going to require a major investment.

I thanked Matt for being just as great as his reviews and it is totally true.

Thank you Mark at Armstrong Plumbing for your professionalism and excellent customer service. My drain line for the AC broke causing water leakage. I called another plumbing service and they were unable to find the source of the leak. I  then called Armstrong and not only did Mark found the problem, he explained to me what happened and gave me a brief description of the repair process. Mark quoted me a very fair price and redid the drain line within less than an hour. Voila! No more leaks! Mark was on time and was very professional!

These guys are awesome. I had a water heater and washer and dryer that needed to be relocated to a different room in the house. They did the entire job in one day to ensure that we would have water and gas on in time for dinner that night. Matt sent me pictures and updated me periodically while I was at work, which put my mind at ease. He also stuck to his original quote, even though the way the wall was built created extra work for him and his partner. I won't even bother looking for anyone else- Armstrong Plumbing is who I will be calling from now on.

Matt is amazing! I called this morning with a shower that was spraying water behind the wall. He said he could be at my house in an hour and he was. He came in and was very up front about what was going on and what to do to fix it. He also told me that I should file a claim with my homeowners insurance to repair the water damage. We hired Armstrong Plumbing for several relatively-small tasks. Here are several things that really stood out about Armstrong Plumbing, and in particular, our technician Matt.

1) Matt was excellent about communication and scheduling - he always kept me updated about what was happening via text and was quick to answer any questions I had.

I had a leak somewhere on my property that was costing me an arm and a leg for my water bill. I had a recommendation from friends for another plumbing company who not only didn't show up at all twice in a row, but once they finally showed up after a cursory look around the property said they couldn't find anything and that I needed to call the water company.

Not ready to do that, I called Matt Farmer at Armstrong and he came out....ON TIME...spent a couple of hours on the property and finally found the leak! He then got the parts and fixed the leak in record time!  He explained exactly what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. A few hours later he was back to make sure that everything was fixed properly and that the leak was fixed!

I had a leak under my sink from the garbage disposal. I called Armstrong Plumbing and they were very responsive, ther technician even came out that same day! Mark was very professional and figured out that I needed a new one right away, he even had a new one on his truck so he was able to replace it and get my sink back together. Matt is great! The pilot light on my water heater kept going out so I called several plumbing companies on Saturday because I wanted them to come check the thermocouple. The only one that actually answered was Matt. I explained my situation and he agreed that it might be the thermocouple. Matt and his technician, Mark, came out within a few hours on the same day and after testing some things on my water heater  and cleaning the vents out, decided it could be the thermocouple that was not working correctly (he tested it and it read that it was functioning ok but thought we should change it because it was cheaper than buying a whole new water heater. They changed it and it worked!

Sadly, the next day, the pilot light kept going out again. I called Matt and he advised that it could be the gas (knob/controller?) but that may run $150 or higher- we would have to purchase it online from the company and wait for it to be delivered. He said that my water heater was 9 years old and changing the gas knob/controller (I can't remember what it is called) may or may not fix the problem. I decided to just get a brand new water heater since it was already getting old and so I wouldn't have to worry about it leaking later or worry about the pilot light going out again. Long story short, he came over on Monday and replaced the old water heater. He didn't charge me a service fee since he was just at our house. I trust Matt and would use him again. He is super friendly and honest.

5 stars all the way!!!  Matt was at my house sooner than he said and was and was 100% honest about my drain problem.  Armstrong plumbing is fast, responsive, and most importantly honest about their work and will not try to sell you on a service you don't need.  I will not hesitate to contact them in the future for any of my plumbing needs.

It's a zero star if I could give. They don't honor their work and require extra trip fee to fix what they did not do properly in the first place. It's terrible.

Yes, the repair call was to replace the shower cartridge to stop the leak. However, it's common expectation that everything has to work the way it was after the shower cartridge is replaced. The fact that the maximum water temperature is much lower than before the repair means that the job is incomplete. I only discovered that in the evening when I tried to take the shower. Your plumber did ask me if the water is hot enough but he asked without context. I was working while he was doing the repair. He asked me to come over to feel the water to see if it's hot enough. I went and felt thinking he's doing some routine check..the water felt hot so I answered Yes. I had no idea what he was trying to do and he did not tell me either. If he asked me This is the hottest temperature setting. Is the water hot enough?. I would have said No, it's not hot enough because the hottest temperature setting originally is much higher. He simply asked me without any context. Sure, maybe I should've asked him what the context of his question is looking back. But I didn't know better as I was busy working and I simply responded to his question without knowing the context. Also, he was throwing out F WORDS while working and ignored some questions I asked him, it made me feel quite uncomfortable to even stay nearby to watch him work and I tried to leave him alone. So you simply took my answer as a reason not to stand behind and warranty your work and completely ignore what your plumber did. I don't think that's fair and professional.
I also did not even mention your plumber's work let air into my pre-circulation pump and now it's not working. I did not even ask you to repair that. ALL I am asking is to restore back the original maximum water temperature as it's supposed to be. Now you want to charge me $125 to come back to fix something that was altered by your plumber in the first place. That does not make sense to me as the job is incomplete in the first place. It should have been done under your labor warranty.
Sure you fixed the drip, but you also messed up my maximum water temperature and you're asking me to pay a trip fee to fix what you messed up. It's insane and unreasonable. Think about that from my point of view and not just from your own point of view when you were also not there with your plumber.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Matt was a little late but he informed me beforehand and was extremely courteous and professional when he showed. He replaced my shutoff valve and fixed my water tank in about 15 minutes. He did the job right and was efficient, I couldn't ask for much more.

The kind of personalized service you can only get from a small shop. Mark knows his stuff and talks you through all options. Will use again.

Mark and Matt are awesome.  Our water heater started leaking and I called the home warranty company who sent out some shady technician.  I found Armstrong's on yelp and gave them a call.  They came out and gave an estimate that was thousands less than pretty much everyone else to install a tankless water heater.  And when I called to set up an appointment they were willing to come out late in the evening the next day to install it.  They were both friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and HONEST.   I came say enough how amazing these guys are.

Matt was a lifesaver!  We had guests from Italy renting our home when we discovered a water leak in the garage near the washer/dryer.  Even though it was supposed to be a day off with the family, he was willing and able to get out to our property on a Saturday morning within 2 hours of my call.  He was incredibly professional, he charged a very reasonable number (which frankly I would've been willing to pay double), and spent 4 hours efficiently repairing the leaky pipe.  He is now the first call I will make any time have a plumbing issue.  Thanks Matt!

Matt and his team at Armstrong Plumbing provided exceptional service from my first phone call until work was complete.  The quote was reasonable and affordable, and the work performed was top quality.  Matt and his partner showed up early and even politely worked around the many restrictions and delays the staff of my high rise condo caused.  Armstrong will be the first company I call for my future plumbing needs.

Matt did a great job identifying and fixing a leak for me. He was out to my house within an hour of my call, and his price was great. I'll use Armstrong again when I need a plumber.

Armstrong did an excellent job for me on a full house repipe. This is a 3-bath, two story house built in 1985. I decided on a repipe after discovering a slab leak. I talked to and received quotes from 5 contractors in all and decided on Armstrong because after meeting with Matt Farmer (Operation Manager) I sized him up as someone who knew what he was talking about and would be conscientious in execution. His quote for the work, as I discovered, was reasonable and fair.  I liked very much that with Armstrong, the person who gives you the quote and explains what the job entails is also the person who does the actual work, at least in the case of a big job like this. Before deciding on what company to use, I want to have met and taken the measure of the actual, principal worker. (With some contractors, an estimator comes out but then they in turn hire whomever on their list happens to be available.)

One thing Armstrong did for me is surely not typical of plumbing contractors.  I told Matt that I wanted to do the drywall repair myself instead of using a drywall contractor. (I had been told by then that my cost for the drywall work, not including repainting, would likely run $1,500 - $1,800.)  I am handy in a general way and although I had never done drywall or anything related to construction, I figured I could learn to do it. (I was right.) When I told Matt my plan to do the drywall repair myself, he said that they could make the cuts neat and rectangular, and do it so that I would have wood exposed that I could drill into; that they could even put in a piece of wood for screws as needed. They were also careful to keep any cut out square that was still in good shape and were able to put two of them back in the wall. Not only that, but they told me what tools to buy to do the drywall work and I went to Home Depot and got the few hand tools I needed, a dimpler for my drill, the mud they recommended (Westpac premixed lightweight) and a first spray can of wall texture for doing the texture called knockdown. As I was doing my first repair, on the wall behind where the dishwasher goes, they gave me pointers and Matt demonstrated with the drywall knife. When I was looking at having to do my first texturing on an area behind a toilet that was ready to go back, Matt actually did the texturing for me so I could watch and learn to do it. (If you have knockdown at your house versus, say, orange peel you are lucky because knockdown turns out to be easy and fast to do.) The intro to drywall that Armstrong gave me made it possible for me to get started right away and achieve good results. I completed the work needed so they could put two bathroom mirrors back in place and reinstall a toilet. With the other openings, which are in ceilings and walls and will be visible, I will slow down and take my time.

When I have told people (that would be two neighbors, a family member and a staff member in the construction dept. at Home Depot) how Armstrong helped me get started on the drywall, their reaction has been uniformly along the lines of, A contractor did that for you? They did it and they did it with good grace.

A final thing stands out for me.  The dishwasher was put back at the very end of the job. (I don't use the dishwasher day to day because I don't generate enough stuff to wash to make it worthwhile.) When we ran a test, in the in the dishwasher's drain cycle the water started spewing out of the release over the sink. It turned out that the guy who initially installed the garbage disposer some time back failed to remove a plug that allows the dishwasher to drain through there. The plug is supposed to be removed by the installer before the unit goes under the sink. Matt was able to get in and remove the plug, after which the dishwasher drained properly. I consider it a courtesy on his part to have done this troubleshooting, seeing as how not only was this not his mistake in the first place, it was, truth to tell, outside the scope of the repipe he had quoted and that I was paying him for. I'm pretty most contractors would have said, this is a separate problem and I will fix it for X amount. So, Matt, thank you for that.

All in all, I feel like I hit the jackpot with this company. They are professional and easy to work with. They communicate well. They will ask you what your preference is if there are different options at some juncture in the work, and explain each option. The team of two, that would be Matt and another plumber, worked very well together. The three people in all who did work here all were very experienced plumbers, not trainees or novices. Matt himself has about 20 years experience and it shows.

Absolute life savers! I had a leak occur on a Sunday night during a holiday weekend and Armstrong Plumbing was the only company to understand the urgency of the situation and come to the rescue. I had called about 6 other plumbers prior to reaching out to Armstrong Plumbing, and all of the other plumbers didn't want to take on an evening job and wanted to wait until the morning. With my ceiling caving in, I continued to call around because I live in a condo complex and the only other way to stop the leak was to shutdown the water for the entire building. Even though Matt and Eric were already fully booked for the day, they sensed that I was in desperate need of repair and came around 10:30pm that night after their last job had finished. They got right down to business to repairing the leak and were nothing short of excellent. They were very knowledgeable with what to communicate to my insurance and they even had their recommended drying company to come out that same night. All of these guys didn't even up leaving until midnight, and this was a Sunday night nonetheless. The most surprising part was that Matt and Eric charged a much lower price that I was expecting, especially considering this was an emergency job late at night on a holiday weekend. Armstrong Plumbing is definitely going to be my go-to guys for anything now. I seriously cannot thank you two enough!!

What an impressive company! I asked for someone to come to my home to provide me a quote for some potential plumbing issues and they worked me into their schedule which I was so grateful for. Matt and Mark exemplify what all service providers should strive to be - skilled craftsman, hard-working, reliable, courteous and professional. We had them handle the plumbing for our kitchen and bathroom remodel ... now we're having them redo plumbing throughout the house. These guys are our new go-to plumbers.

We noticed a leak on the bathroom floor and we discovered that base of the toilet has been cracked. We contacted the property management, but they stuck us the bill since we did not notate the damage when we moved in. The crack is totally not visible when you are just looking at the toilet and we did not think to bend down to look down the base of the toilet when we moved in... We operate small business and the budget is tight, so we called around few places on Yelp and Matt from Armstrong Plumbing gave me reasonable quote and sounded professional. Other places tried to tell me that toilet that has bolt 14 inches from the wall is more expensive, or we need valve replaced and etc... Matt told me technician would be on the way. Mark called me prior to arrival when I can expect him, then he showed up on time. He was a friendly professional guy and he quickly shut off the valve, removed the bolts and inspected everything. He told me that all looks good and it will be simple toilet replacement job. Before he went out to get the toilet, he gave me ETA. Mark finished the job on time, then took the old toilet through the warehouse instead of quick office path so that water does not drip on the carpet. We are very happy with the job and discovery of Armstrong Plumbing.

I had a leak in the wall at my home called these guys. They were very calming over the phone and assured me that a technician would be out shortly. About an hour later Mark showed up at my door. Matt and Mark were on time, fast, friendly, thorough, and inexpensive. It was a small job but they saved me time and hassle by using an adapter for a new faucet I had purchased with the wrong size lines. I really couldn't ask for more!

Armstrong Plumbing is the companies name but for me as a land lord it is crucial that my needs are meet so that my tenants needs are meet and water is the most important service of them all. My water heater failed and after several plumbers would not even give me the time to give a bid for my water heater and shed or were extremely over priced and attempted to add additional replacements parts that I know I did not need because I know what I have and what needed to be fixed. I spoke to Matt Farmer the co owner of Armstrong  Plumbing I asked questions that I knew the answers to and Matt was a very honest he did not attempt to hike up prices or add additional work that did not need to be done.  I work in law enforcement and you learn how to read people and I can tell you that Matt Farmer and Armstrong Plumbing is a business you can trust they treat you the customer as a person not like some plumbers as dollars signs.  Being so close to Christmas some contractors will attempt to fatten the bill for rush jobs or their booking schedule that we the customers can never truly prove if the need for higher rates would apply.  Matt never even wavered from his original price when I asked him if he could please make my tenants a priority before the water heater completely failed as it was leaking worse with everyday.  Matt did not even think twice he called me back and moved his schedule around to fit me in with no additional fees and did it to help me and my tenants that is a good and honest person so if you need someone to trust Matt and his friend and co owner Mark are those people. Together Mark and Matt installed a water heater shed and new water heater up to code and took pride in their work.  I asked them to send me pictures as the process took place they did that with no problem because there was no shady work to hide and after seeing how they installed the shed and new unit I can sleep at night that my tenants are safe and have hot water for baths and everything else.  Armstrong is now on my speed dial from now on and the quality work makes it so much easier for my home owners insurance . I recommend Armstrong Plumbing to any one who wants a fair price and quality work I recommended them to my property manager as well. Thanks guys for taking away my stress to get this work done before the holidays.
