We could not recommend Mejia's Handyman service more!!! If I could give them an extra star I would! They were prompt, excellently priced, quick to get the jobs done and extremely kind people.

We hired him to install 5 light fixtures and remove carpeting and it was done expertly and so fast! Will absolutely be using them again!

We had a gas leak in the pipes in the concrete under the house. We thought it was going to be a long project and a ridiculously expensive one. We were referred to Cezar at Camco and he came out and figured out a different fix. He planned out rerouting the entire system of gas lines for our house that went through the top of the house (how most houses are run now) and it was much more reasonable price wise, and it will be easier to service if any problems arise years down the road.
His team were friendly and polite. They worked quickly and without much mess. They finished the project in one day! And they cleaned all the areas they worked in, sweeping and vacuuming everything afterwards.
They took what we thought would be a nightmare, and solved it quickly and at a much lower price than we were quoted elsewhere.
They are really a great company and i know we will be going to them for any plumbing we need in the future.

I had a drain issue. Mike fixed it. I was happy.

I had a drain issue in my bathtub and was pretty desperate to get it remedied. Michael called me the day after I called him and I'm glad I waited, because I had another service come the day I had made my run of calls based on listings reviewed on Yelp.

Let me first say, Michael the Plumber is worth the wait. He's local and has only himself as staff to solve patient customers' problems. My first plumbing serviceman came the day before, all the way up from Fremont or Sunnyvale, I think. He was a courteous gentleman, willing to put on slip on socks because of the carpet, and gave me the low-down on what the problem might be and how he could fix it. Two suggestions were made, both of which added up to either $275 to $350 including some citrus coating that at the time seemed pretty unnecessary; It's the drain of the house, with excrement going down it. No need to glorify that smell with some lemony goodness. I told the plumber I will take the quote and call if I find he was the fairest price.

The day after, Michael called. Michael told me his availability, and it worked within my schedule. He came promptly, in fact I was late and he came early, so we made new plans, closer to when I could make it now that I was running late and he adjusted. I showed up to my place, Michael showed up minutes later, he knocked on the door and greeted me with a fist bump and a smile. He took his shoes off at the door, came into the bathroom and made a quick assessment of the issue and said, ...should be an easy fix.

Michael was very eager to show me how he does things, and suggested to me some tips in how I can solve basic plumbing issues on my own without the need for a plumber. I was eager to take in all that he was sharing and made sure he knew I was very appreciative. As we made our way around the property Michael pointed out things I should be aware of like where drain pipes are and proper water flow through them. I felt like I could handle a lot more with what he told me by myself.

If you are in need of a plumber, please don't hesitate to call Michael. He's very knowledgeable and willing to be flexible with your time and his own.

Called at 8:00 am for a leaking water heater.  Phoned back promptly and repair completed by 11:00 the same day.  Good results - would recommend.

Came same day which was nice and told us that we didn't have a leak but just needed to have caulking done around our sink. We had the sink caulked and this didn't help because there was a leak! The only reason I didn't give one star is because he was nice, came quickly and didn't charge us because he didn't find a plumbing issue. We called another plumber today and he found the broken pipe and fixed it. I wish I could recommend this business, but sadly was a misdiagnosis for us.

We had a gas leak and the gas company shut off our gas. We contacted Omar's Plumbing in the evening and explained what our situation was. They came over the next morning and inspected our home. They did a leak test and found the source of the leak and isolated it so that we were able to get the gas turned back on in the rest of the house. During the pressure test, they double checked all of our ON/OFF valves and determined that one was starting to fail so they replaced it right away. I was very happy that they did two 10 minute pressure tests to verify that our gas system was up to the gas company's standards. Omar and David were courteous, informative and very knowledgeable. We're super glad that we contacted Omar's Plumbing.

Five star company with 5 star service.   Had a couple old drains that were draining slow.  Called Timothy, owner of The Green Plumber who I had met in the past.  He showed in the time frame given (even with a broken arm) with plumber Paul and readily snaked the drains.  Was impressed with the fast service and most importantly, cleaned up behind themselves after they were done.   While Paul was cleaning up, I asked Timothy for an estimate to relocate a hot water heater.  The estimate arrived the next day as promised and believe reasonably priced.   More businesses need to follow their business model.

It was great to have Andrew come and fix the issue very quickly and professionally. He was able to walk me through the problem and dos and donts of things too. I would highly recommend this business. He customer service agents are amazing to talk to too.

UPDATE: Today, nearly a year later, I happened to open the hatch that houses the pump, and was delighted to find my long-lost bucket hidden deep under the floorboards. José must have left it there while he was working and then inadvertently left it there when he sealed up the hatch.

We wanted to replace our old water heater.  We called Tommy's and they sent someone out the next day. The two gentlemen where friendly and professional and answered all my questions. It took them about an hour and they where done!  I will definitely use them again.

Gladiator came out the day after Christmas for an emergency. I called several other plumbers first, and even made an appointment with a different company, who ended up canceling. Gladiator was upfront about their fees. No other plumber I called would even give me a rough estimate. They arrived on time and even called for backup to get a special tool, which would avoid having to dig out the pipe. They tried several different tactics and worked very hard. I would definitely use them again, especially after the bad experiences I had with the big name plumbing companies in our area.

I can highly recommend Better Rooter. Absolutely responsive from the first call, on time, pricing very fair and its clear their team has worked together for a long time. Seamless coordination, great communication, and you know they are experts at what they do. I had to do a trenchless sewer lateral- not easy to get permits with the City of Oakland making it difficult to issue permits due to hack. Better Rooter persevered, coordinated all the various departments and agencies. Their team came on time, and worked so hard to get it done quickly. My neighbors were asking me later - who was that company with such hard workers. Mind you this was in one of the huge rainstorms. The team was respectful of my property and my neighbors- kept it all as clean as humanly possible. Excellent experience.

I had a leak in my main water feed into the house.  It's a 1 PVC pipe.  Cracks had opened up.  I tried to patch it myself but didn't quite get the job done.  In total frustration, I called Jerry's.  Miles answered the phone promptly and hearing about the problem offered to meet me at home ASAP.  Took off from work and Miles, with Juan as a bonus, were right on time.  Very nice couple of guys, who in their work showed they know their stuff.  Showed them the problem, which I had envisioned would be a difficult repair, seeing as how I had a patch on the pipe that wasn't holding.  We turned off the water and they had the bad section of pipe loose in about a New York minute.  They ran back to the shop for parts and put it all back together right quick.  And for a reasonable price.  I'm glad I called Jerry's.

Yaro did a great job rapidly replacing our power vent water heater located on our second floor balcony after our old one started leaking.

I asked for quotes from several companies via Yelp on Saturday, January 2nd, and Poli from Better Home Construction Services responded very quickly with questions and a quote.  They were very cost competitive, provided a same day free consultation on January 2nd, and able to complete the install first thing Monday morning, January 4th.  Due to specialness of the power vent water heater, no other company was able to come out before Monday either, as the warehouses stocking them weren't open on weekends.  Poli was very communicative during the process.

Yaro came in on Saturday and quickly evaluated the job, confirming the quote I was provided by Poli.  He then showed up 30 min early to our appointment first thing Monday morning and had the installation of our new water heater complete in 2 hours & 45 min.  This included removing the old water heater for disposal, and bringing it down the stairs by himself.  He was very professional and efficient with good quality work.  He also kept his mask on at all times for COVID-19 precautions.  Highly recommend this company for water heater installation!
