There's not a lot I can say about Mr Fix It Right that hasn't already been said by other reviewers.  Really good, really fast service.

I called them on a Friday afternoon when our toilet wasn't flushing and the plunger wasn't doing the trick.  Brian was at my house within the hour, and unclogged our pipe in less than 5 minutes time.

We called Brian in for what we thought was a basic drain clog. After thorough assessment using snakes and cameras he found we had issues in 2 different underground pipes. He got one fixed on the spot, and for the other we scheduled for following date as he needed to get the backyard dug up under better weather conditions. He was prompt, responsive and got the job done swiftly. I definitely recommend!

Brian just finished his second service call with us.  

First was a few months back for a serious back-up to find out that the six year old sewer lateral was offset and creating the problem.  Brian fixed the back-up and very clearly explained how the offset occurred.  We were so impressed we called him back for a clogged sink and an official sewer lateral inspection to take to the original plumbing contractor.  Brian came out the same day and was done with both items in an hour.

If that plumbing contractor doesn't fix their sewer lateral work, best believe we'll be calling Brian for a third time.

Wow!  You will not find a more professional and trust worthy plumber.  The work was not perfect the first time and Bryan was there as soon as I called him to make sure and triple check (time consuming) that the leak was fixed.  Hard to find people who are proud of their work and deliver.  I could not recommend Bryan more and will always call him when I have an issue.

Still using this company, they are great.  We've had good luck getting them to come over fast.  They are super nice and knowledgeable.  We've had them replace worn out drainage pipes and fix faucets.  I wish everyone we worked with was as good as Mr Fix It Right Plumbing!  Thank you Bryan!

Great Plumber!!!  I am a real handy guy and I had tried to fix my house drains several times myself and they kept plugging up so I knew I needed help.  I found Bryan on Yelp and read the other reviews which are all true...he is a 5 star plumber.  He came out with a high tech camera system and he found a broken pipe and told me exactly where the break was and then used another gadget and told me exactly how deep in the ground the broken pipe was.  He then snaked the plumbing out and got it to flow again.  What a relief.   I told him I wanted to fix it myself and he was cool with that and gave me some tips on fixing it.  I will get him back to look through the drains again with his camera system and scope it just for peace of mind.  Friendly, punctual and a very knowledgeable plumber...highly recommended.

I really appreciated Bryan's prompt and attentive service. After another plumber cancelled on me TWICE, Bryan answered his phone and then was at my house within 2 hours. I had a bathtub that  had had standing water in it for 5 days! He fixed it promptly, and his price was more reasonable than many other plumbers I had called. I was just going down the list of yelp five-star plumbers. I'm so glad I got to Mr. Fix it Right. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

Bryan did a great job and was very helpful. Working at a hair salon there come times where pipes get clogged. We have had other people come to snake the pipes multiple times and it never really did much to fix the problem. When Bryan came he actually assessed the problem and didn't just grab the rooter and have at it. He paid attention to details and even went under the shop to see what was going on. Turns out a pipe was busted, which he took a picture of to show me since I has no interest to go under the shop myself.
I will highly recommend him to all my friends for plumbing needs. He is friendly, professional and most important he is good at what he does.

Whew!  These guys came within a few hours of my call and replaced my leaking garbage disposal within an hour. $150 for labor and the call on Sat,12/23 when every other plumber I've used before was unavailable or closed. They were neat, respectful, and did careful work. Such a relief to have a working sink before Christmas! Highly recommend Mr. Fix It Right Plumbing.

Bryan (Mr Fix It Right Plumbing) is very trustworthy, reliable, and does a great job. He's also a very very nice guy.

We had a clogged drain and Bryan came out almost immediately. He spent a significant amount of time ensuing that the job was done right... and we didn't have any problems. A great provider.

His service is so good and so well priced, we have him clear out our drains 2 times a year.

Bryan came out on a Saturday night and fixed our messiest clean out clogged sewer problems in less time than he estimated. Professional, kind, patient, and fearlessly crawling under the house. I hope we never have to deal with this again!! Bryan also recommended some ways to improve the sewer lateral accessibility. I wish we knew about this 5 years ago!!

I have an old house w/ a history of roots in the main line that I must maintain annually. During the dry summers (or during drought!), I was told that anything growing above the sewer line will seek water by sending out its roots, which work their way into any cracks in the aging clay pipes, causing a blockage and eventual backup.  Makes sense.
So, I indeed had a backup in the downstairs bathroom and I called Bryan at Mr.FixIt. He was nearby, and offered to come by within the half hour!  He was prompt, friendly, and professional. And willing to explain the problem and possible solutions with me, which I greatly respect.
I had just had the roots cut and  pulled 2 weeks prior by a different company,, so Bryan cleaned out the main line with a super-long augur, and verified that it was draining properly. We discussed a future camera inspection and possible retrenching, and his prices seemed very reasonable.
He had my main line running clear in less than an hour, and honored the $69 pledge! (I have a super easy clean-out.) I would most definitely call MrFixItRightPlumbing for any future plumbing issues!

Came same day which was nice and told us that we didn't have a leak but just needed to have caulking done around our sink. We had the sink caulked and this didn't help because there was a leak! The only reason I didn't give one star is because he was nice, came quickly and didn't charge us because he didn't find a plumbing issue. We called another plumber today and he found the broken pipe and fixed it. I wish I could recommend this business, but sadly was a misdiagnosis for us.

Brian of Mr. Fix it right plumbing gets 5 stars the old fashioned way... HE EARNED IT! I called him on a late saturday afternoon after my sink backed up and I tried to cleaned out the clean out drain and snake it with my neighbors help but it was still backed up. Brian not only answered my call but gave me hope that he was going to come in under 2 hours. I had called 3 other plumbers who as of today, still have not even retuned my call.
Brian actually came in an hour and a half, Cleared the blockage and had me back to normal in just a few moments. He was friendly and his pricing is very reasonable. My neighbor told me today for the same service another plumber would not even come out for less than $200

This is without question the best plumbing experience I have ever had. He came late and last minute due to a rotted pipe burst under our sink. He fixed the job quick and with efficiency, replacing all broken parts with brand new equipment and charged a very fair price.

I never knew that such incredible plumbers even existed, I will never get plumbing done without calling Mr. Fix It Right first.

Bryan with Mr. Fix It was nothing short of AMAZING today!!!  We were in desperate need of a replacement kitchen sink faucet after having leaking problems for a week and being unable to fix ourselves.  He came within a few hours and went on a search for the right fixture to fit with our very specific wall-mounted set up.   These are not easy to find!! He tried calling me to check that the price on the new fixture was ok before purchasing and came back and had it up and running in no time!  He was also very patient with me as I had to run to the nearest atm because I happened to be all out of checks.  I will definitely be calling Bryan the next time we have a plumbing issue.  You should too!!

Bryan is awesome! I had an emergency clogged that required an immediate fix. Bryan answered my frantic call on my first attempt contacting him. Bryan confirmed the time he would arrive, and was prompted. He hit the ground running and assessed my issue. After determining the issue, Bryan provided a thorough explanation of the caused the clog and how he planned to fix it.

After the work was done, Bryan showed me the cleared drain and explained how and where to check the line if the issue comes back. As good as Bryan is, the clogged line should not be a problem going forward.

Great communication and very knowledgable.

Working with Bryan was a great experience, from beginning to end.  He answered my call right away and arrived promptly to unclog our 50+ year old drain line, which turned out to be filled with roots. It wasn't an easy job: the location of the clog meant that he had to climb onto our roof to snake the line from a plumbing vent; and the clog was still far away and took a while to remove. When he was done, Bryan provided very helpful advice on things that we can do in both the short and long term to prevent these clogs from recurring. His price was very fair, especially given all the work involved.  He was also totally professional and really nice, which is huge, in my book. I will definitely call him again when we need plumbing help!

Bryan was really accommodating with the appointment time as I live in Oakland but work in San  Jose and had agreed to meet me in the evening time after I got off work. He had quoted me a very great price to help fix a clog in one of my drains. In addition to the drain, I informed Bryan that I had a leak in my kitchen sink. He took a look and told me that the piping was not done correctly and that I should change to plastic pipes. So he had agreed to change out the piping in the kitchen sink as well on the spot. Bryan did a great job, was fast, and professional. He has very great prices and is very knowledgeable. I will be definitely be using him again. Thanks Bryan!

Bryan is the best -- believe it! Squeezed me in today to unclog my chronic sewer line problem (tree roots) and did the job in a half an hour...all for the flat rate of $69.99. Definitely going to use him again and hopefully, one of these days, have him replace the bad sections of the sewer pipe. Garbage disposal was broken. I contacted their company and scheduled an appointment. It was easy to make an appointment and Brian came right on time. He is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and knew instantly what was wrong, offered me several price options and even had a spare disposal in his truck. He replaced it in a matter of minutes. Bonus points! He kept the area extremely clean, even making sure there was no water leaking and wiped everything down. He made sure to take off his shoes because of the white carpets. All around, great service and also, was super friendly to chat with. I would definitely highly recommend over the bigger companies who give you the run around and high quotes.

Its the night before the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a drain was working my wife thinks I'm a louse! So at 8 pm with a smile, my it was late, Brian comes in and makes everything work great! 8 pm Kitchen drain and disposal clog (emergency situation). I called Bryan. He called back in 1 minute, showed up with his assistant after he finished his earlier job. snaked the pipe, fixed the problem, charged a reasonable price (particularly for evening service. What more can you ask? Nothing more. We noticed the clog at 8 pm and it was fixed by 9. These guys work hard. Mr. Fix It Right was great, and I will definitely call them again. Thank you Bryan!

Owner Bryant personally responded to my call at 8:30pm. Came within 25mins. Saw the issue and fixed the choke in the toilet right away with the snake . Within 15mins everything started working great . No more plumbing issue. His rate was very reasonable . I would recommend Mr Fix it Right for an honest and reliable plumber.

I had a middle of the night pipe explosion that needed to be taken care of right away. These guys are great. came by right away, fixed my MAJOR clog that was backing up my sink and clothes washer within 25 minutes. They even had to saw off a piece of the cast iron drain pipe to get access. really quality work. highly recommended.

I've used Bryan twice in the past to snake out my main line at $70.  Negative experience this visit as he stated that this time it costs $150 for the same job, as he was practically leaving when I asked him about the drastic increase.  He says his website special is for access points at the curb, but it actually says it's for lines with proper access, which mine is, and I even had the cement cover off and the top unscrewed.  Also, it was proper access the two previous visits, but not now suddenly.  Ok, so you raised your rates, i get it, and i even agree with it, but he was very rude and unprofessional in first saying that the access has to be on the sidewalk, then trying to grill me on how much I make and if I make the same money as I did 10 years ago.  He made a point to say that his low price was to build a clientel.  Yup, understandable, but over a 200% increase over the last time less than 2 years ago.  It took 10 minutes start to finish and he was very rude and unprofessional.  I enjoy paying a good wage for a job well done, but not being disrespected for asking questions.  Definitely would not trust him in the future.  Prefer to pay more to someone who won't charge based on a loosely based sliding scale.

This was very discouraging.  Never had an experience like this with a plumber. I did not get the sense that the persons who came were very focused on determining our problem - they looked at the water heater for one minute. I was explaining what had already happened.  Out of the blue one said to me then well if you want to argue with me or something, when I was calmly explaining that I had asked them to come to find out what is wrong with our water heater. This just astonished me. At that point, I asked them to leave, of course. I think maybe they don't like dealing with women?  Not sure.

Nobody wants to pay an arm and a leg for unexpected plumbing! I called around for quotes and sure enough Mr. Fix it RIGHT Plumbing was the most reasonable by far! This was my first experience with the company, at my home in Lathrop on THANKSGIVING MORNING!
Just a couple weeks ago my Preschool kitchen sink was clogged and the disposal wasn't working. I called the building maintenance guy...He couldn't  fix it and scheduled an appt to come back, that fell thru.
I contacted the Company and they made me an appointment the same day. They arrived early, fixed both problems without needing new parts (which was my worry), contacted me to let me know the job was complete, sent me a picture of the fixed/cleaned sink. I was SO blessed to have kept Mr. Fix it RIGHT contact information! Plumbing can be so costly and time consuming trying to find good work for a decent price...I've now stored this company info in my cell, recommended to others and Now sharing on Yelp! When I need an Electrician...LOL... I hope,I be blessed in the same way and get a solid/reliable company like I've found for my home and business plumbing issues. Thanks Mr. FIX it RIGHT!

I had a pipe burst and I called at 7:30 am and Brian answered right away. He said he'd be here in an hour and he showed up early. Fixed the problem in about 20 minutes. Very reasonably priced for emergency service too!  Can't recommend them enough!

Saturday before the Christmas holiday at 2 PM in the afternoon, scalding hot what starts shooting out from under our kitchen sink, quickly flooding the kitchen. Thank goodness it happened when we were home and could shut off the water--mostly. Still dripping enough to fill buckets. Called Mr. Fix It (who even knew there was a category for emergency plumbing? What plumbing is not an emergency?) Anyway. Brian said he'd be over in two hours. He was. They fixed the problem within an hour. Our 1927 house pipes are a rusty mess. Cost? $350. Two plumbers, for one hour, on a Sat. that came out at the last minute? Seems like a fair price.

Hi just wanted to write a little something I called this company and spoke to Bryan on a Saturday late morning and he said no problem he can be at my house from 1 to 2 pm and fix the main drain that was backing up and he was here 1 sharp unloaded his tools and had my drain working in 5 or 10 min and charged me what he said he was going to charge no extra or any thing like that . So it's the Eve of Christmas Eve (and a Saturday night too) and our sink clogs up. Called a couple of other plumbers who either didn't answer the phone or couldn't get anyone out until Tuesday after Christmas. Then we called Mr. Fix It Right and Bryan kindly answers the phone and says he can be at our place in 30 minutes. He comes promptly in 30 or less minutes and proceeds to get to the problem. We had a fairly good clog but he was able to get to the root of the problem. Problem solved. I guess I now have to get  back to the holiday cooking and baking anyways). Thank Bryan for your great service and kindness. Will definitely recommend you to others. Have a wonderful holiday and 2018.

Bryan came out on short notice and did an awesome job clearing tree roots from our outside drains. He was professional, courteous and efficient.  He has excellent diagnostic skills and equipment to determine blocked pipes and works patiently and efficiently to clear them. He is thorough and as his slogan says, he does it right.  We had several feet of dense tree roots and he didn't just stop after the first huge root section came out.  He made sure it wasn't still blocked, as a result, he removed a scary amount of additional tree roots!  Bryan came after hours, worked late and gave me an extremely fair price. I will absolutely use him again, and thank you Bryan!

Yes, like other reviews say, great service and nice guy! I called at 9:30pm trying to set something set up for following morning before work to unclog a sink. He offered to come that night instead, since he was booked the next day until after I had to go to work. Arrived in 20 minutes and took care of my problem in less than 30 minutes. All done less than an hour after I called. Couldn't be happier! It did cost $95 instead of $69.99 but that was because he had to do more than just use the outside clean out (his ads are clear about this, so no surprise). Still way cheaper than the competition and no extra charge for coming out at night! I will definitely call Mr. Fix It Right again next time we have a clog.

Life's little victories delivered to us via Brian aka Mr. Fix It.  Right before the long weekend, our shower was starting to back up, which usually means a fully backed up drain is right around the corner. A quick search on Yelp and the positive reviews of Mr. Fix It Right drew our attention. And yes, they are spot on.

I called, explained our situation and they were at our house in less than an hour (happened to catch them as they were leaving another gig, lucky me). The arrived at the time they promised and in a flash the drain was cleared out. Nice guys, fast, clean. Yeah it is good to start Memorial Day weekend with a victory.

I really liked this guy the first 4 times I used him. He will come quickly and at odd hours and keeps the price low if you pay cash.
See that sign for $69.99? I paid way more than that. Maybe I got special Alameda prices. The last time I called him, he wanted to charge me double what he always had but switched up the price on me *after* the work was done.
He also tried to put in a side sewer clean out for me. He ripped up my shrubs, didn't preserve and replant them and left a big mess when he was done. A friend in real estate told me he overcharged for the job. Every time someone sells a house their sewer main needs to be up to code so she sees a lot of side sewer replacements.

We had a clogged drain in our shower the day before Christmas Eve. Was 4pm on a Saturday, and we tried several local companies with no answer or no availability. Then we called Mr. Fix It Right Plumbing. They arrived within 10 min, and were finished clearing the clog in another 10min. It was amazing! Very good service. I had called a little past 10pm and he still answered my call. Was able to come early morning to take care of the problem. Works well, and very pleasant, would recommend him to anyone who has a pipe problem. Tells you what the problem is and what his recommendations are. For my case he had to break the cement because the pipes had some plant growth (looked like a tree bark to me). The prices are affordable and he finished everything in a couple of hours. Again, happy with the services he and his team provided. You can't go wrong with them.

It was 10:30pm, and we needed the water heater issue fixed quick.  Given the time, I was not expecting anybody to answer.  Bryan answered the phone, and we made an appointment for 11am the next day.  It was a difficult install - he had to work in a small space, move a dryer, remove/ reinstall a few doors.  He installed a new water heater, got me hot water that afternoon, all for a reasonable price.  Very helpful and nice person.  Glad he was able to come to my rescue.

Requested a quote online and received one quickly.  Bryant P. responded with $275.00 to replace a toilet and angle stop valve.  I would provide the toilet, wax ring, angle stop, and connecting hose.  I called to set up the appointment and whoever answered stated it was Mr. Fix It Right Plumbing, and not with whom I was speaking.  I told that he quoted me $275 for the job and repeated it to him he gave his availability for that day and increased his quote by $150 over the phone for the same job.

I had an emergency with my bathroom faucet this morning and after calling two plumbers I'd used before (both were busy this am), decided to call Mr. Fix It Right. Bryan asked me to text over a picture and called me back to tell me the faucet should be replaced, answered all my questions, and was very helpful in general. We set up an appointment window between noon and 1:00, but my issue escalated and I was no longer able to turn off the faucet. I called Brian back and asked if he could come earlier. Bryan and his cohort showed up quickly and resolved my problem in no time for a reasonable price. These two kind guys were one of the only businesses that answered our sad calls for help on Christmas Eve. They told us the exact wait time -- I had called at 4:15pm, they had three houses ahead of us and they expected to get to us between 7 and 8pm -- and came in that exact window, they were sooooo nice to work with (friendly, easygoing, yet completely professional), and fast! They even came back right away when we realized that the drain was still partially clogged -- not their fault, as I got so excited when it initially drained that I told them everything was done and they were fine to go, without running more water to check.

They really saved us this Christmas Eve. I hope I'd never have to use them again, but I'll definitely call them first next time. Thank you!

I had contacted them about 2 years back to fix a clogged toilet. Their recommendation to me was to replace the access and to fix some of the piping in the ground behind my home because that was the reason why we were frequently getting clogs. Which I agreed to do because I just wanted the problems to go away.

I still have the pile of dirt and cement in the back alley of my home because they didn't remove the debris after they finished the job. I didn't make a huge deal out of it, I was just happy that the issue was fixed.

But til this day, we still have the same issues as before. We are very cautious to not put stuff into the drain so it's frustrating that this is a continuous problem we have to worry about. We probably had 8 months of peace before we started experiencing the clog again. We spent all that money to still have to hire a plumber two to three times a year to deal with the back up

One of the recent plumbers explained to me that the pipe that they installed didn't have enough slope so that is a possibility for why the clogging still happens. I'm not a plumber, I don't know how accurate that statement is but it's just frustrating to have spent the money and have had no difference.

I'm in my 60s and Mr. Bryan is the very best plumber I've ever dealt with in my entire life. Polite, helpful, funny, and not out to gouge you. Our garbage disposal had burned out and was causing the dishwasher to discharge waste water up into the sink. Bryan had it fully fixed in half an hour, even had the same model replacement Badger GD on his truck! Even showed me how to get the GD blades running again if they get stuck. Called, got scheduled for three hours later, and showed up on time: professional, courteous, and knowledgeable as to the likely problem (combo shower stall and toilet would not flow). Earlier I had used liquid plumber...which worked two hours after-the-fact.

Bryan, Mr. Fix It Right himself, inspected our situation and found that the liquid plumber had worked out. Thus, no need for Mr. Fix It Right today. I asked as to a fee that I might owe. He said,No charge. We'll definitely call him again if the need arises.

These guys saved my Saturday! My landscaper accidentally broke the water pipeline located on the parkway (the patch between the street and sidewalk) and water was gushing out. First, I called EBMUD, but they could only turn off the water, they don't fix pipes. So I immediately went to Yelp to find an emergency 24/7 plumber service. Several had great reviews, so I started calling down the line...well, the first two plumbers were answering machines telling me to leave them my phone number, and that they would call back. I didn't have time for that, I wanted an immediate live voice answering me. The third try I got a live voice, it was Brian from Mr Fix It Right. He told me they had just finished a job...and could stop by within the hour. I said, cool! Man, not even one hour had passed, as Bryan and his co worker (his name escapes me right now) arrived in about half an hour. Wow! They assessed the damage, parts, etc...and got an immediate competitive quote right there on the spot. I said, go ahead...and they promptly went to work. I inspected the finished product. All new parts, water leakage gone. They even closed up the hole with a shovel. These guys really saved the day, thanks to them...we all had hot showers that evening. The five star ratings they get here are for a reason...Mr Fix It Right is a great plumbing service, I highly recommend them, especially for a dire straits emergency. I'm keeping their number too, as they will be my regular plumbers from now on as well.

Bryan is the best and most reliable plumber one can ask for!  I had called him to replace an old toilet, and his rates are very reasonable.  After the new toilet started leaking, he came back multiple times to try to solve the problem (at no charge), and determined the toilet was cracked.  After I got the replacement toilet, he was able to come the next day to install it.  Everything is all good!

Mr Fix It Right Plumbing should be the first and only place you call for your plumbing needs.  I'm going to recommend Bryan to all my friends and family.

The most important thing, he always answers his phone and doesn't leave you hanging!  He gives great personal service.  Other plumbers I called either never answered my calls, cost more money, or gave excuses.

Bryan is awesome!

He came out to fix one of our toilets that seemed to be clogged. I was sure he would spend an hour snaking one or more lines. Instead, he noticed that the toilet seemed to be draining fine, but the water flow was weak. Pulling off the top, he saw that the tank was only filling half way. There wasn't enough water in the tank to do a proper flush. We adjusted the shutoff valve on it, so that the tank filled to the top, and the toilet worked again.

He then suggested getting a new toilet, which would use less water and have a more modern and reliable shutoff valve, and recommended an inexpensive model from Orchard. He asked me if I was handy, because it isn't hard to install, and it's a lot cheaper if I do it. When I said I could probably handle it myself, he packed up to leave, and that was that. He was friendly and really seems to know his stuff.

Oh, and the cost for more than half hour of his time: Zero.  Yes, he didn't charge me for the visit!

I'm now a fan of Mr. Fix It Right, and they're getting my business from now on!

Not only fixed it, but the toilet (so far) is silent and seems to use water more efficiently than when new. Others quoted $120 or so just to show up; Bryan charged little more than half that plus parts--more than a bargain. Now I know who to call first next time!

Mr. Fix It Right is the perfect name for this company.  I'd been trying unsuccessfully to maintain with a clogged kitchen sink after the frustration of looking for a reliable plumber.  I'd perused the reviews of several plumbing companies on Yelp and either got no answer when I called or they were too busy to schedule an appointment for me.  It was a breeze scheduling my next day appointment with Mr. Fix It Right Plumbing. Bryan arrived on time and quickly fixed my clogged kitchen sink and leak.  Bryan also corrected a blotched faucet installment done by another plumber (to remain nameless).  I will definitely call Mr. Fix It Right for any future plumbing needs.   Plumbing problems are very stressful so it is nice to know that the company you've entrusted to complete a job is competent and reliable.

We had a plumbing emergency where all three units in our Tri-Plex were backed up in the toilet to the shower. They got to my house at 8:30 and the technician worked until after 11:00 p.m. to unclog the main line and also our shower. Our shower wouldn't drain so he had to take off the side stopper and advised it may break because it was old. I appreciated that.

Paco was nice,  respectful and even let us know to let our landlord know that there may be a potential issue with the sewer line and showed us in the camera. I would recommend this business for any plumbing needs.

I scheduled Bryan to do some basic plumbing to our residence. With most repair folks you can schedule a time for them to show up. Not with Mr. Fixit, it's first come first serve. We are required to call or text at 7am and let him know that we want him to show up. If you're fortunate enough to get an appointment there's still no guarantee he will show up on time. We scheduled for a Monday 9am appointment and later said he couldn't be there until 12-2. By 1:30 Monday I realized he's not leaving enough time to do the work before I have to pick up my child from school. I contacted him via text and asked if he was coming soon and if not we'd have to schedule for the following day. I got a thumbs up. Again I was told to call or text at 7am to confirm. I explained that I also have a schedule and need to be able to plan my day, the day before. He reaffirmed that I should call or text at 7am. At 7:19 I wrote a message thinking I confirmed our time. By 9:00 I've had my schedule cleared and ready. I texted twice with no response. I followed up with two calls and left messages on voicemail. It wasn't until I texted him at 10:21 am and told him he failed to show, that I got a very unprofessional text response full of capital letters and accusations saying we were the problem and canceled on him multiple times. To be clear we will not be working with Mr. Fixit going forward.

I had a broken galvanized pipe leaking under my kitchen sink. I called Mr. Fix it right on Sunday evening and they arrived in 30 mins.  They fixed it very quickly replacing the pipe with PVC (I think). I had a plumbing emergency and Bryan was the first plumber who picked up my phone call at 6pm on a weekday. He was able to come by within 2 hours, assessed the problem and gave a fair estimate and a time he was able come back with a new sump pump next day. He was also willing to return the sump pump if it turned out it was an easier fix, but wisely did not take the existing one out late at night so that the place wouldn't smell like an open sewer all night in case a new pump WAS needed. Bryan and a small crew came by on time the next day and replaced our failing sump. He was courteous and communicative, and most of all very responsive. Thank you Bryan!

Oops!  I thought I did a review of this business awhile ago!  Sorry guys! Bryan from Mr. fixit came along time ago to fix a clogged pipe in my house he was on time very professional and did a great job for a great price. Since then we've used him for a sewer lateral on a rental property we have and again right on time, best price quote we received and had the inspection done for us all within a day or two, which is more than we expected.  It's really hard to find quality work at a decent price from honest people so I feel like these guys are a God send!  Thanks Bryan and team!

These guys are honest and that counts for a ton in my book.  I called Bryant to investigate some bubbling noises.  First of all, he was super flexible in adjusting his timing as I got caught for a very long time at the DMV (ouch).  Then when he got here and checked things out his recommendation was that we not pay him to do any snaking of the pipes because he thought it would be a waste of money.  That honesty is awesome.  Thanks Bryant.

Bryant came to save us from our flooding kitchen sink at last minute notice. Suddenly one day our kitchen sink got clogged and water started to come up from the drain, leaking to the floor through our dishwasher. Thankfully, we were home to see it start leaking. We called Bryant and he helped us first stop the water coming up from the drain--by telling us it was due to our upstairs neighbors using the water, which we were then quick to tell them to stop--he sucked up the standing water in the sink and drain, and then used a snake to clear the clog. It was a huge relief to have a working drain again. He was professional, friendly, and exceedingly efficient. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Fix It Right has been my go to plumber for a few years now. Thankfully he only lives about 1/2 mile from me. A couple of years ago a neighbor's two immature adult sons leaned some folding tables against a not-so-stable brick wall separating our properties. The fence fell, causing our water line to burst. I got home about 8:00pm to find water pouring from the house into the street. I called Bryant and within minutes he had arrived and fixed the problem. This week, I called Bryant to look at a slow draining bath tub. He tried to snake it a few times with no luck. He then went into the crawl space to try another fix, and emerged showing me a video of two places where the pipes had been secured with old duct tape at the T points!  He couldn't do the other fix or the rigged pipes would've probably burst. This was not in the inspection report when we bought the home 6 years ago (disturbing). It was obviously rigged like that many years ago, most likely by the previous owner. Bryant came back the next day and replaced the pipe parts. Then he looked at my kitchen faucet, which had very low pressure for the hot water side for the longest time. He said the problem may be in the faucet itself and That I may need to buy a new one. When he left, I checked it after a while and something had gone wrong and it was only dispensing cold water. I called Bryant back and he returned the next day, went under the sink, disconnected the faucet, and fixed it (no charge). Apparently there was a serious rust build up in the faucet. Now the hot water pressure in the kitchen is running like a champ, and we don't have to buy a new faucet! So glad to have Mr. Fix it Right as our plumber!

I should say Brian did replace my water valve for the washing machine and put in a new faucet that I had purchased already.  It was an easy faucet to install, as told to me by another plumber who told me to buy that kind.  Both of these items took a total of less than 1.5 hrs.  $500 .  He claims he told me the price over they phone.  He said $350 for new valve and $150 for new sink.  The $350 is the general price per job he charges. I want to pay fair wages, but that is insane!!!!  
I will not have him back..  He was nice, though.  I feel super swindled.  He doesn't book more than a day in advance.

Mr. Fix It Right is an exceptional plumbing service.  Their plumber was prompt, courteous and did a phenomenal job.  He didn't waste time with a lot of small talk.  He went straight to work zeroing in on the problem then fixing it with such precision and expertise.  Afterwards he made a point to clean up after himself which is a plus in my book.  I highly recommend Mr. Fix It Right Plumbing & Rooter for anyone looking for a reliable, dependable and trust worthy plumbing service.

I had a clogged kitchen drain and was told by another company that the only way they could deal with the problem was to redo my entire sink drain system under the house, at a cost of several thousand dollars.  I called Brian after 9:00 PM and was able to schedule him to come out the next afternoon.  He was able to use his snake to unclog the drain at a very reasonable cost, and also replaced a couple of leaky parts during the same visit.  Brian's service was prompt, quick and problem-free. My kitchen drain works great now.

I chose to support the local shop for a recent plumbing issue, and man am I glad I did. Brian showed up exactly when promised (never once been my experience with other plumbers in the area). I can't say enough positive about Brian and Mr Fixit.  I always approach finding a plumber with dread.  Never sure what you are getting into and whether you will be able to trust the plumber.  But Brian responded to my text, late one evening within a half hour, and arrived the next morning when he said he would.  He explained the problem in detail, gave me a clear quote, and proceeded to do the work.  He is personable, and    competent.  I talked with him about his background.  He has been doing this work for a long time.  I now have a plumber that I would have no problem recommending to others and using myself in the future.

Bryan came out to our house to work on a clog.

When he got there he could not reach the clog with the snake he brought so he didn't charge us for that visit, AND came back the next day.

Spent HOURS trying to find a point he could get to it (our plumbing layout is arcane to put it mildly) ... eventually he had to cut a cap off to reach the clog that was so bad the snake couldn't touch it, he and his assitant manually pulled it out.

They were crawling around for HOURS, and charged us a truly unreasonable (in our favor, not his ) price for all the work.

He is a real pro who does whatever is needed, and did not speak down to my wife as many tradesmen seem to.

Bryan is an absolute angel of a person. Last month we had catastrophic rains and my sump pump failed and my finished basement flooded - my office, guest room, laundry closet, and basement bathroom were filling with water. The water was coming in at around an inch an hour, and most every plumber I called couldn't get out until the next morning to help.

Bryan came over at 10 pm (on a Sunday night no less!) on very short notice, and hooked up his sump pump to get the water out of my basement. Not only that, but because it hadn't quit raining, he left his sump pump for me overnight so that the basement wouldn't just fill back up with water. He must have been exhausted, but he returned the next day with a brand new sump pump to install. And on top of it, his rates were more than fair!

Bryan really went above and beyond in my moment of need; I was desperate and stressed and he was so kind. Because of Bryan, the damage was minimal, all my appliances and almost all of my furniture were saved, and the only work I needed done was drywall removal and replacement. I am aware it could have been so much worse and am so grateful for his kindness.

Plumbers love to call sewer grinder ejector pumps shit shooters, even if the pump only services gray water and no actual sewage, so I will too...

My shit shooter burned out and oily kitchen water was starting to back up into my house. This happened 3pm on a Friday and I must have called 8 places. Bryan was one of the only to be responsive, but in the end I got three quotes for the fix: $1,100 from Rescue Rooter, $600 from another outfit in San Leandro, and $375 from Bryan.

He told me just what to buy at Rubenstein's, and we coordinated so that he could come first thing Saturday AM. True to his word he came out early, fixed the thing in 2 hours, and charged me as quoted.

Thank goodness I found this local independent company and saved myself several HUNDRED dollars. Nice guy who answered my several questions as well. Almost wanted to give a tip and will call next time.

I came from out of state to take care of my elders, found an extraodinary leak that caused their home to flood. Being from out of town and not knowing who to call...I turned to Google for help. I specifically contacted Bryan because of the $69.99 for any clogged drain with proper access offer.  I confirmed the rate with him over the phone before making the appointment.  Well, proper access in Bryan's world clearly means something different from what it means to the rest of us.  He very quickly told me that he didn't have proper access and that this rate would therefore be DOUBLE - $140.00.  As it turns out, the clog was cleared very close to the kitchen sink drain.  He was able to clear the clog in 20 minutes from under the sink.  As far as I am concerned, there was no access problem - plumbers have been going under sinks since the invention of plumbing.  When I objected that his rate was unreasonable given the location of the clog and the time spent, he told me that other plumbers charge more. This, however, was not the point.  Obviously, he generates a lot of business with his $69.99 come-on, and he should honor that rate absent unusual circumstances.  I suspect Bryan knew he had me over a barrel because if was 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday and I didn't have any alternatives other than to wait until Monday (lest anyone try to justify the higher rate because it was a Saturday, he also advertises same price, day, night or holidays.  In my opinion, doubling his advertised rate to clear a clog in twenty minutes was dishonest.  I would not use him again.

I'll make this quick, because I agree with the other 5 star reviews.

Bryan was prompt, courteous, professional, and skilled.  I had a clogged sink, told him I had to be somewhere by noon, and was told no problem.  It wasn't. He had it taken care of within an hour or so. Very reasonable price.

If you need plumbing service, call Bryan. This man gets my highest recommendation.  I don't throw around praise lightly, if you aren't any good I'll tell you.  And to be fair, if you deserve praise you get that too.

I wish everyone that works in the service industry: satellite/cable, phone, painting, whatever was as professional and competent as this man.  

If Bryan's boss reads these reviews, I want you to know you have a phenomenal man working for you.

I had two clogged toilets and tried to work on it during the Labor Day weekend. I was hoping to fix them without calling any plumbers because they tend to overcharge you just for coming out. One business I called quoted me $200 for the first hour, and then $50 for the next 15 minutes. I asked her why does she think her plumbers can charge $200/hr as much as a lawyer, but she has no answer. Needless to say, she didn't get my business.
I found Bryan through Yelp and was amazed at all of his 5 stars reviews. I called Bryan and luckily he was on a job at a nearby city and told me he would be able to come over in an hour. After one hour, he showed up as promise and worked on my clogged sewer line for an hour (until 9pm) and was able to clear it. His price was even very reasonable at $150 for 2 clogged toilets.
Bryan, who is the owner, is very pleasant, great work ethic and very honest. I would highly recommend using him for any sewer line problems and stay away from Rotor-Rooter.

Oh my goodness...it is not a good feeling when you get home from a day of hiking and playing in the sun and suddenly at 9:30 p.m. you discover there is NO (I mean zero) hot water coming out of your shower, even though it is coming out of every other tap in your house! I called Mr. Fix It Right and got in touch with Bryan (or perhaps he spells it Brian, I am not sure) and he was very quick to ask some helpful, focused questions to try and understand what was going on. We made a plan for him to come at noon today, and almost as soon as I hung up I realized that as an elementary teacher working in San Francisco but living in the East Bay there is NO way I could make that work! I called him right back asking if he could come any later and he said he could come at 3 p.m. This was getting better by the minute! I was able to leave school early and come meet him at my home. He and Mr. Dale came right during the time they said they would be here and came on it to look at my shower. Well guess what? You know how you call up the doctor about your sore throat and as soon as you get to her office you feel all better? That is what happened with my shower! Not five minutes after opening all the taps in the bathroom, plenty of hot water was flowing in my shower. HOW embarrassing! Mr. Bryan explained what he thought had happened and also offered some very helpful information about how I could quickly, easily, and inexpensively address a few minor ongoing plumbing issues in my bathroom. I asked him how much he charges as an outcall fee and he said a good yelp review was all he wanted--unbelievable! I felt awful taking up an appointment spot from a paying customer with an actual plumbing problem, but when I offered again he said he'd prefer a review over payment. You got it Mr. Bryan! If my shower acts up again I will definitely be calling you back! Thank you for everything.

Had a leak at the base of my toilet. Looked for a plumber on Yelp and saw all the positive reviews for Mr. Fix It. Called and Bryan answered the phone. I've hired Bryant from Mr. Fixit a number of times over the years and always had a positive experience. His fixes have lasted and his rates are reasonable for a plumber in the Bay Area. Yesterday (a rainy Sunday), a tenant had a backing-up toilet and another company (Mr. Rooter) wanted to charge me $750 to snake it and $350 to replace the wax seal if necessary. I'm so glad I waited till Mr. Fix-It, Bryant, could come on Monday. He charged $250 to snake the toilet so I saved $500! (and he said if he had had to replace the wax seal he would have charged $175 for that - half the price of the other guys.) In addition, he showed up when he said he would, and is a nice guy. Called Mr. Fix It Right Plumbing after I'd had a different plumber out in the morning and they'd been unable to clear our clogged kitchen drain, which required a far longer snake (75 feet!) than the first plumber had access to. Mr. Fix It Right worked quickly, fixed the clog, and charged a very reasonable rate. Will definitely call these folks again if I have plumbing issues in the future.

I had a clogged drain and called and spoke with Bryan this afternoon.  He told me that he would arrive within the hour and he was very punctual, courteous and professional.  The screws that went in to my drain cover were already stripped and before he started to work he explained to me that there was a high probability that the screws were not going to be useful after he removed them and he told me that I may have to go purchase a new drain cover.  I really appreciated that he made sure that I was okay with the additional purchase that I may have to make if he continued to finish the job.

I would recommend Mr. Fix It Rights' services and I will definitely use them again in the future if needed.

We had a clogged main sewer line coming out of the house.  Sewage was backing up into the downstairs bathtubs.  It was a few days before XMAS, and family was arriving later in the day.  The issue was further complicated since our house does not have a sewer cut-out.  The line had to be accessed by removing a (full) toilet or from the rooftop.  Brian arrived within a few hours, diagnosed the issue, and solved the problem.

Our complex had a sewage backup that was seeping into one of the neighbor's unit so we had to get that cleared up.  We were quoted $250 and he would be on site within 60-90 mins to run the the line to clear it due to the emergency, we agreed.  

Bryan came out pretty quickly which we were grateful and ran the drain, the water cleared and he was done.  Once he was done, he told me that I can call Water Damage Restoration to have the mess cleaned up which I think was his way of letting me know he wasn't cleaning up the leftover sewage . It wasn't a huge area so that was fine, we cleaned it ourselves.

However, the backup started again the next day and when I called and spoke with Bryan and asked him how many times he ran the line.  He informs me that he doesn't offer warranty and the lady (our neighbor) watched him run it and the water drained.  So, he recommended a camera as it may be a bigger problem.

As it turns out, this was a brand new sewer lateral (about 1.5 months) so I called the company who installed the line and they stuck a camera in there and was told it was a block of grease and wipes that was causing the blockage.  I advised them that we had a plumber run the drain yesterday but because the equipment he used was small, all it did was pop a hole in the hardened grease so as more waste flowed, it caught on to the remaining grease which caused another backup.

I am very disappointed dropping $250 when it just backed up again rather than making sure that it was done sufficiently the first time.  My experience with professional plumbers ensure that it is completely opened and have a hose or something to at least hose down the area, and if it backs up within a day, they go back out to see what the issue is to get them back in service.  They don't say we don't offer warranty which I can understand if I was calling like weeks later, but this was literally less than 24 hours.  Very unprofessional in my opinion!

After calling and leaving messages earlier in the day for 2 other plumbing companies and not hearing back, I decided to get on Yelp and look for a 5-star, local plumber. I found one near me in Mr. Fix It Right Plumbing & Rooter. A Bryan picked up the phone right away and told me he could be at my address in 2 hours. He arrived on time and was very courteous. He immediately went to work on the clog and explained possible causes of it. He unclogged my main sewer line quickly and explained corrective options as he found suspected damaged within the line. As an option, he actually offered me advice on how to fix it myself since it didn't require too much technical know-how. When does that happen!

Bryan was very professional and at $69.99 his drain clogging was super economical. I will call him whenever I need ANY plumbing issues for sure. Thanks again!

This guy is awesome.  Smart, straightforward.  Prompt!  We called him after losing tolerance with a recurring issue related to our slow flushing toilet.  He diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently -- as opposed to another plumber  (let's call that plumber Mx. I can't  say enough good things about Mr. Bryan Jackson (Yes, he deserves to be called MR Jackson). I called 3-4 plumbers before Byan and let me tell you that they were more interested in overcharging me than helping me. I found Bryan's Ad on craigslist and I got to say that I did not expect much for $69 as his Ad states (other plumbers were quoting $140 - $300). But man was I wrong!!!

Bryan is prompt, diligent, and knows his craft. He resolved the issue within the hour and charged me basically the minimum! Definitely include a big tip (his service is worth more) AND refer this guy to others. This is the type of honest and hard working guy we want to support and help succeed.

Mr. Fix It Right Plumbing did an awesome job at responding to my S.O.S. request for a sewer lateral. I'm in the middle of construction and had no idea that a sewer lateral was required based on new City of Oakland/Public Works rules. Brian of Mr. Fix It Right Plumbing responded same day, provided a quote and pulled the permits on my behalf! I had a leaky toilet and needed the repair ASAP.  I've had two plumbers visit in the past (to patch things up) and I knew there could possibly be a VERY expensive repair in store for me with the pipe not being bolted down to the floor.

That said, with Bryan's visit (in the middle of a heavy rainstorm) he was able to resolve the problem without having to replace the pipe and he got it bolted down; all at a reasonable cost.  It appears the two other plumbers completely missed the problem that Bryan solved.  I will be using Mr. Fix It Right in the future for any plumbing needs.

I'm so disappointed. Mr. Fix It advertises all over its website and on Yelp that it charges $69.99 for ANY CLOGGED drain. My shower drain is clogged. I would definitely put that in the any drain category. Brian came out this afternoon and told me that he would only charge the $69.99 for a clean out drain. For my shower clog, he would charge more than twice that. I won't work with a business that does false advertising to get in the door. That's dishonest.

Bryan from Mr Fix It Right did a great job for us for a toilet that got a bathtub plug flushed down it by mistake.  I called him on a Saturday, he came out on the next morning (a Sunday!) and was able to get out the plug and make the toilet flush again.  Courteous, on-time and effective and did it all for the advertised price of 69.99.  I've added Bryan to my list of emergency numbers.

Bryan is a knight!

We have a tiny hole in the wall restaurant in Hayward - my mother owns/runs the restaurant , small one person operation. Building is in shambles, Pipes are old and probably not in compliance with the city code and everything breaks all the time. The silver lining is that the food is great so we're able to sustain operations but there's no room for anything to break down because it's a ripple effect.

Lo and behold, the sink drain (in ground) suddenly stops draining and has been clogged with standing water for 2 days. Made repeated attempts and followed multiple suggestions of numerous chemicals as well renting a snake ...alas to no avail. Last night had nightmares about jack hammers and cement breakage to get to the pipes (all of which have happened before )......so by this morning I'm at my wits end with no solution and mum's mounting distress.

So this morning, I decided to look up a local plumber on Craig's list and something made me pick this number. He showed up right on time and not a second late. Made an honest effort for about an hour with every piece of equipment he had. Based on my experience with previous plumbers, I know that he went above and beyond to try to get the drain working. After an hour or so, when I was feeling completely deflated and starting to accept that this was going to be some major construction work , it worked!!! He was able to get it the water flow going! yay!

Extremely professional, courteous, pleasant, honest and fantastic customer service. He is now on the restaurant speed dial and no need to look any further. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Had a clogged main line and had everything backed up.  Invision toilet paper coming out of the shower drain.  Called around to maybe 10 different local companies and Mr fix it was by far the cheapest.  Within an hour they arrived and fixed the problem. Not only were they easy to talk to they were transparent with the work they were doing and very helpful on suggestions for longer term solutions.  And seriously to have someone root your main line for 70 bucks, a steal.  Had people quoting me 250 and up to 600 if they had to remove the toilet.  Mr fix it was at 70 and 250 if they had to remove the toilet.

I called at 9am, Bryan came at 1205 (said he was coming btw 12-1pm).

As promised, 69.99,

Downstairs bathroom shower overflow with sewage. Cleared it from main pipe in 1/2 hr.

Suggested 1) I do maintenance every 6 month until I replace my sewer lateral
2) Buy some root killer from home depot and pour down drain for maintenance

Seem to make sense. I know the clog will come back - but for $70, this will buy me a few months until we decide what to about our sewer lateral.

The guy is nice and professional. So, I write a review as he requested. =)

A year ago I met Brian in search of a Plummer and came across Mr Fix it , I opened my first salon! It came as is meaning no running water and a very old water heater... Brian and his team came out on short notice searched for the problem and gave me a really great price! Mr Fix it even went to Home Depot to pick up my new water heater and installed it. The price shown for any clogged drain with proper access was 69.99. Good deal I thought.
He came to my house on time but told me that the access point to the clog was inside my home and therefore he could not honor the $69 pricing. He charged me $150.  He put approx. 30 feet of cable into access point and five minutes of total labor later was done. To avoid surprises text company picture of access point to avoid issues prior to them showing up.

I called Bryant at 8:00 am because our shower/tub drain was clogged and we had standing water. He offered to come over within two hours. I explained that I was at work and asked if he could come over in the evening. He told me to call or text him when I got home. I'm feeling lucky and blessed right now. This was the wrong weekend to have my ancient hot water heater decide to get sick and die on me forever. Pretty hard to do Christmas at home and clean up afterward when the water is ice cold. It's even harder to research and purchase the right hot water heater and hire a reputable plumber to pick it up, install it, and carry the old one away in the evening on a holiday weekend...all of it done well for a reasonable price.

Bryan from Mr Fix It Right Plumbing is my Christmas hero. I needed a miracle today and he and his assistant made it happen.

I bookmarked his Yelp page a few months ago and he was the only plumber I had to call. He delivered. Five stars! Enough said.

***Update: after I posted this review, he contacted me to let me know he would drop off a receipt. He told me he had taken a photo of it and texted it to me, and that I must not have received it. If that's the case, then why not text it again? Instead he wanted to drop it off. Ok. Then he told me he'd gotten an email about my review, and asked if I'd change my bad review. I said no. I feel that their '$69.99 any drain' special is misleading, and I told him so. Beware the words 'with proper access.'  That means not 'any drain' is covered. So they should remove the word 'any' from their ad and their van. When I got home last night, there was no receipt, so I texted him again early this morning. So far no response. Will update whether I get one.

Brian was extremely helpful and professional. I wasn't sure what was wrong to cause the leak under our kitchen sink, and after my fiancé tried a few things himself to no avail, we called Mr.Fix it Right and they sent someone over. Brian arrived early and got the job done in less than 30 min! Brian was kind in answering my questions and explaining what he saw and what would fix it. He had the parts needed on hand and gave me instructions on what to watch for later in case there was something else wrong that we couldn't see at the moment. He ran a couple tests after he finished the job to make sure that he was correct and fixed the root of the problem. Would definitely recommend Brian and use him again!

This happened today, Feb. 11, 2014.  We have a clogged drain underneath the kitchen sink.  After checking all the reviews in the web of rooters in the area, we called Mr. Fix It Right and Bryan Jackson answered the call.  His schedule was quite full but he was able to accommodate us for a 2:30PM appointment.  He came right on time, worked right away, snaked and hosed the pipe and that was it -- cleared the clog and get the job done for $69.99.  No hidden fees.  He is highly recommended.

After trying to fix my clogged kitchen sink myself....and and not only failing, but cracking one of my pipes in the process....I called Bryan at Mr Fix It Right.

Now this is after 9pm on a Monday night....he said he'd be over in 10 minutes (thankfully he happened to be in the area).

He snaked the drain, cleared it, and replaced my cracked pipe....without much of a fuss....at a fair, reasonable, price.

He was a really nice guy, who was upfront, very honest and knows what's he's doing. I would not hesitate to call him again or recommend him to any of my friends.

Great Service! Quick Response. After calling around to multiple plumbers in my area being told an outrageous price for the service I needed. Mr. Fix it (Bryan) came and quoted me a price that was half of the competitors that he had no idea he was competing with. The service was quick and he didn't leave until the job was more than complete. Even called a few days after to to make sure everything was still fine.

Not only would I recommend this company to anyone looking for a plumber; small job or huge. I'm happy knowing I can call them for any problem that occurs in the future and won't have to worry about being over charged.

I can't thank Mr Fix it Right enough for saving the day, and saving me a ton of money on my sewer line break.  My downstairs bathtub and toilet was clogged, and he came the same day (within 2 hours of my call)!! He showed up on site and tried a few things before delivering the news about my sewer line. The best part is that he replaced it the same day...by 4:30 pm my home was clog free! This guy was great. Informed, polite, and helpful. The drain on our shower was broken (and the pipe was clogged with the hardware that was bit of broken drain stopper). He got the stopper out of the pipe, and snaked the pipe.

We had our kitchen sink/ disposal back up on a Saturday morning.  After several unsuccessful calls to other services, I called Brian who answered immediately.  He happened to be working in the area and came to our house literally within minutes.  Having received numerous quotes over $200 minimum from other companies, Brian charged a reasonable $150.  The problem was resolved quickly and efficiently and he also made a cost effective recommendation on a dripping shower.  Both Brian and his assistant Rodney were professional and friendly.  No brainer five stars!

At 7:20pm on a Saturday night, I had a hugely annoying bathtub that wouldn't drain. After 3 hours of draino, snaking, and pouring boiling hotwater down the drain, I gave Mr. Fix it Right Plumbing a call.

In less than 20 minutes, Brian showed up! On a Saturday night! Freaking amazing. Brian snaked the CRAP out of my clogged up tub with his industrial gear and after 15 minutes, the tub drained magically. He was quick, super-friendly, and hilarious too. I opted NOT to save the disgusting hairball stuck in my drain.

Mr. Fix It Right's prices are a GREAT deal, and their service is top-notch. I've been looking for a reliable plumber for years, and I don't think I have to look any further. Thanks guys!

Mr. Fix It Right Plumbing is superfantastic!  I found their company and called for service on a leaking toilet a few months ago and they came right out and fixed the problem - no more leaks.

Yesterday, I received a call from a tenant that water was gushing in the backyard.  We quickly called EBMUD to turn the water off.  I called Roto Rooter and they quoted me $271+/ hour just to come out and look and that didn't include any parts.  I hung up and remembered I had used Mr. Fix it Right Plumbing on a previous job. I called and Bryan came out within the hour, resolved the issue in under five minutes and provided expert advice on the situation. I was so relieved and happy. Always, always -- my plumbing issues are always on a holiday weekend. Sure enough, my regular plumber didn't return my call and I faced the prospect of no toilet for the Labor Day weekend.

Bryan picked right up and promised to be here in an hour, although he was starting a job in Walnut Creek. Arrived as expected and less than an hour later, I was back in business, so to speak.

Didn't think I'd qualify for the $70 price since my access was not the usual way (you don't want to know) but I did. And on a holiday weekend!

First time hiring a plumber, wasn't sure what to expect. I had a drain stopper that was clogging the bathtub and the water wasn't going down. I reached out at 9pm and got a response within an hour and was told a tech could get to my place in the morning.
Techs came and were friendly. I appreciate them wearing shoe covers coming in the house. They evaluated and started working right away. The job took about 10-15mins for them to fix and I was charged $175.
I would definitely call them again if service is needed, but I would likely get a quote first next time before having them start on any work.

After recently purchasing two homes in Oakland and receiving a horrible inspection we found out there was a ton of work that needed to be done on one of the homes as there was unfinished piping, leaks, etc...that wasn't noted originally.

We had an absolute catastrophe. Sewage coming out of our clean out flooding our side yard. Had Roto router out and they could not fix the problem. Then said that they can't send anyone else out until the next morning.Called Mr. fix it right plumbing in a panic. The gentleman on the phone so that they would be over in less than an hour. He got there in 20 minutes. He was there maybe 25 minutes. Fixed good as new. He was knowledgeable And extremely effective. I couldn't recommend these guys anymore. I will only ever use them in the future.

My specialized hot water heater with the fancy fan went out over the weekend, of course I had an extended warranty for my home and of course, they said, your warranty don't cover leaks or pumps, of course I was mad and one day has gone by with freezing cold water. I called around and finally I called Mr. Fix it Right Plumbing and I'm glad I did. They came out, replaced my hot water heater and last night I took a hot shower, it's the little things you lose sight of, but appreciate so much. I know plumbing issues are tough and finding experienced plumbers, who won't rip you off when you need them the most can also be tough. This company was pretty spot on, prompt, reasonable, effective and efficient, I will use them again.

I called this company at 8pm for an emergency toilet clog. The website advertised 24/7 emergency services any clogged drain for $69.99.  This is what his website stated. So I reached out to arrange for emergency service, the gentleman that answered my call told me. It's after hours and it will be a minimum of $650 for me to come out. I shared with him what I read on his website and he said well I'm telling you it will be $650 for me to come out. I'm only here to say, It's simply unacceptable to advertise misleading business information. What's more disappointing is his dismissive attitude while speaking with me as a potential customer. Let's Bring back ethical business practices that reflect customer care in whatever capacity of service you specialize in.
The next plumber I called gave me the price advertised on the website and arranged to come first thing in the morning; but more than that. They cared about how they represented their company and how it translated to me as the customer, It matters.

Called Bryan around 7:30. He gave me a 1 hour window from 9:30-10:30 and he came right on time. He cleared the clog quickly - only took like 10 minutes.
This guy is good and charged the advertised fee. He made a recommendation to change the toilet and when we decide to do so, we will surely ask him to come back and do it for us.

Had a very disappointing experience though I will give him credit for being responsive and on time.  Called him late one evening because the pilot light on my water heater wasn't working.  He ONLY tried to relight the pilot light and told me he would not replace the lighting unit and charged me $70 for service for pushing the pilot light button several times (which is the same thing I did).  He failed to notice and tell me that there is a huge leak in the unit and that was causing the pilot light to fail - it took another plumber 30 seconds to comment on that - it was that obvious.  Very disappointed!

Called with a leak under the sink. Brian and Dale were at my home in under an hour. Just so happened that I also wanted a new faucet installed. Brian determined that the faucet was the culprit. He installed it and checked out the dishwasher connection, garbage disposal and pipes to make sure it was fixed. The faucet looks great and the leak is fixed. I highly recommend Mr. Fix It Right!! Mr Fix It was there within an hour unlike all the other plumbers I had called that gave me either a very high price or couldn't come for at least 24 hours or more. I am putting in a basement shower, alas the 50 year old ground drain pipe put in when the house was first built is completely stuck, not a drop of water would seep through.  The wimpy snake I bought at Home Depot is no use.  I put off the project for several months because I don't know whom to call and don't want to be gouged.   By luck I saw his van in Chinatown and you know the rest of the story.   Mr Fix It Right---Brian came to my rescue.  He is friendly, punctual, affordable but most importantly he is very skillful.    He brought in a power snake and it bore through the clog in no time.  And he only charged me a very reasonable  $70.  The other person I called was going to charge me $150.  Later I found out just renting the big snake machine from  Home Depot would cost  $60 for 4 hour.   So Brian definitely saved me time and money.   I really appreciate his help and he is definitely my go to guy next time when I have a plumbing problem.  Thanks Brian.

Bryan is the plumber for you! I have hired him a couple of times in the past several years and have never been disappointed. He unclogged drains in both bathroom and kitchen. If you see the $69.99 on Yelp and on his website, just know it's $150 now.

Like Sugar E. mentioned. Bryan was great at first few times when I used him. This past experience was pretty awful and will be the last. He wanted $150 for a main drain clean out and said his price went up. This was after he arrived on the job and he wouldn't honor what's posted on his truck, Yelp and website. A clean out which he's done previously.

All he did was take his sewer drain rooter out ran for 5 min. and took my money. The problem with that is he only rooted part of the drain (like 10 feet) and the water backed up the next day. I didn't bother calling him again because I knew he wasn't going to be coming out to fix it right away, and he was going to charge me more $$$ for rooting it again. I went to Home Depot rented my own rooter for half of what he's charging and took care of the problem myself. I will be doing that from now on.

I emailed last Tuesday regarding our plumbing issue and received a reply saying I'm available Thursday. I sent all of our info including the best times to come by and did not receive a reply. Thursday came and went. No one came, no email, no call. I emailed again yesterday asking if there would be another availability and was told No, sorry. Not available.

Apparently new business isn't o interest and neither is making an attempt at decent customer service.

I reached out again, attempting to give them another chance to commit to a date and time for an estimate. Was told by the owner: I'm not interested in working with you and your attitude. Good luck with plumber search.

One of those businesses that treats would be clients badly, then attempts to save face on Yelp. Shady. Hope no one else receives nasty emails like I did. Super inappropriate.

A little over a year ago, I had my bathroom completely remodeled. To my surprise, I woke up and my toliet wouldn't flush, and when it did, it backed up into my awesome New bath tub. Yuck!!!

I phoned around to several different plumbers, and as fate had it, Bryan answered, and said he could be at my house in an hour, for a free estimate.

As a property manager, sometimes it's hard to find a reliable and reasonably priced plumber especially in Oakland. I have a leaky pipe under my kitchen sink. There was a lot of water on our kitchen floor. I called tonight at 8pm and asked for someone to come out tomorrow. The guy who answered the phone was great and said he would be out tomorrow. So far really good.  My neighbor recommended this business to me.

Update: Brian came out promptly, as promised, he fixed my sink quickly and the fee was reasonable. I'll definitely call them again. He said they specialize in clogged drains and pipes.

Had another plumber come out who explained that the clog was at Y joint in the pipes and that Mr Fix It had basically pushed the clog up into the other section allowing the water in the shower to for free temporarily without actually clearing the clog. This person took the time to snake from both the clean out (which I had pointed out toMr Fix It) and the shower. He spent almost an hour to make sure that it was clear before he left and charged me 100.00 to do so. Further validation that this dude is scamming. Use at your own risk!

They came out within an hour, handled all my problems, double-checked the quality, fixed one twice to make sure it was done, and also took something out of my garbage disposer that had been rattling around free of charge. I messaged the company and was able to get a response on a Saturday evening for a clogged toilet which had overflowed when trying to clear it. The guy that responded was in and out in about 10 minutes. He snaked the toilet and got it flushing pretty quickly.
He had me flush to make sure it flushed, which it did and said he wasn't responsible for anything that occurred after he left. I knew we'd be extra careful about putting anything that didn't belong down the toilet so that wasn't an issue for me. Fast forward 2 days later, the toilet was clogged up and not flushing again. The exact issue as before. I googled possible causes and determined there must be an underlying issue that would require a further look and diagnosis by a plumber which I most certainly am not.
I contacted him once I had availability for him to return which was 5 days after he'd been there. He replied he was out of town and said when he'd be back. He never contacted me after his return, so I contacted him days after his return to ask him to return and figure out what the real problem could be since we had not put anything in the toilet that didn't belong. I also let him know that although it flushed for 2 days, the way it flushed was different than before. He reminded me of what he told me about not being responsible for non-flushable items being flushed down after he'd left. I ensured him this was not the case and that from his yelp reviews it didn't seem uncommon for the toilet to clog back up after a few days. I suggested that it may be a bigger problem than the snake would solve. His response: A snake and plunger is the two tools used to unclog a toilet. Your toilet was clear when I left. Problem was solved. It is common for someone to flush more non flushable items after we have unclog a toilets that's why I had you verify that it was clear before I left. I'm more then happy to come unclog your toilet again at then same rate and same as before I will have you check that it's flushing and I can not be responsible for any clogs after I leave.
I was simply looking for him to do a plumber's job and diagnose the real problem, wether it be a faulty toilet or something larger. He offered none of that and when I said I'd just find a plumber who would do that, told me good luck. I had a different plumber come out with a machine, remove the toilet, and do a thorough job of getting to the bottom Of the issue. He checked the sewer line and cleared the clog, but let me know that the toilet needed to be replaced soon and it was likely to occur again if not. He also gave me instructions on how to flush while waiting on that new toilet and gave me a warranty period. He advised that if customer has an issue like I had where the toilet clogs within a week or two after repair, he'd come back out for free and only charge if they end up pulling out something that wasn't there previously.
The service I received from the 2nd plumber I hired was all I wanted from this company which made $150 in 10 minutes.It's a shame I had to call someone else on a job he started and that he was so unwilling to help a customer. Very poor customer service. Not what I'd call fix-it right service. More like Mr. Bare Minimum.

Mr. Fix It Right Plumbing is on point and very deserving of a 5 star rating!!! I needed a plumber to clear a drain that was overflowing whenever I turned on my washing machine.  I called all around and he was the first to respond. He arrived promptly, assessed the damage and knew immediately what need to be done.  Although the pipe wasn't as accessible as he would have liked in order to resolve the issue, he figured out a way!! He unclogged the drain in no time and even stayed around to wait for a full cycle of clothes to wash, to make sure there were no leaks.  I plan to hire him whenever I have plumbing needs, you should too!!

Last year I called Rescue Rooter in San Leandro to clear a drain.  The tech quoted me a price that I thought was crazy. When I declined the offer, he went out to his truck for a few minutes and returned to give me  a lower price. The tech  worked his tail off. I only realized the next day that he did so because his snake broke off in my drain and I did not see it until the next day.  He had just left the snake poking out of my drain. The owner came out with a different tech  and fixed the problem, so I was willing to call them a second time this year. I called last week and had an appointment on Friday between 1 and 3 pm. At 5 I called because no one had shown up and was told the tech had been held up at the call before me and would be here within the hour. No  one ever showed up. The next day I got a call asking if my problem had been resolved. Of course I was not willing to give them a third chance. Today I called Mr Fix It Right. I had seen good reviews on yelp. The owner (Brian Jackson) answered my call and said he would be here within a half hour. 25 minutes later he showed up. It was raining and the access point was outside. Working in the rain, on my muddy patio, he and his assistant cured my blocked drain for  less that half what Rescue Router charged me last year. Even better if I had had a standard access point the charge would have been only $69.95 (their normal flat fee to unclog a drain). Brian was honest, reasonably priced and discussed several options to avoid the problem in the future. I will gladly recommend Mr. Fix It Right Plumbing and Rooter.

Do not use them.  They are not licensed. They do not stand behind their work.  Why would anyone use them?

I used them successfully for a rather large project rerouting a bath plumbing line which required opening up the kitchen ceiling. I was happy with their work.

Then, I used them the second time with terrible results. There disregard of our underground drainage system when connecting a new waste line to the existing sewer line which caused flooding in the basement and thousands of dollars of related damages.  I called them and asked them to come out and review the damages with me.  They never called me back.  I emailed and texted them with the same results.  

I had to hire another plumber (this one likened) and the bill to repair the French drain was $2K.  Looks like Small Claims Court

Had a clogged toilet and these guys came through the same day - great.  They told me it would be $75 to snake it and $250 if they had to remove the toilet to get to the clog.  They ended up having to remove the toilet and pulled out a toy.  Soon as they left, toilet flooded again.  They came back the next day and snaked it again.  Left, and clogged again minutes later.  $250 down the drain, unfortunately nothing else going down any drains.  Had to call a new plumber today.

Update:  noticed the owner Bryan contacted me soon after this review to make my experience better. I never saw it until now and thought I'd mention. Follow up is everything so I'm upping my stars.

Bryan was so helpful and understanding when I called him at 8:45 p.m. tonight with a badly clogged toilet.  In a house with only one toilet and two smaller kids, including one recently potty trained child, we really needed our toilet working asap.  He came right over and got the clog fixed in 10 minutes or less.

He was very nice and you can't beat his customer service.  We are so appreciative that he came so quickly to help us fix the situation.

The plumber showed up on short notice and appeared to have fixed the clogged toilet/backup in the bathtub by snaking through the vent pipe on the roof. He was in and out quickly and was nice enough.

The toilets became clogged again less than 24 hours later. It was apparent the issue wasn't fixed.  We called him back that morning and he said I don't offer a warranty on my work because I don't know what you put down your drain after I leave, but since it was less than 24 hours ago I'll come back.  He came back, plunged and flushed the toilets a few times and the clog appeared to be gone.

Fast forward three weeks - everything is backed up again.  This guy does a lot of snaking but not a lot of problem diagnosing and solving.  $175 spent for nothing.

I had a water heater pilot light out and could not get it to light. Repair person came over in a few hours, said he got the water heater fixed.  Paid him $375 for the fix!! Ouch.. The next day water was cold and pilot light was out.  Came out again and said pilot light is on..  next day cold water. After three days without hot water he said to get a new water heater.  The quote for a new water heater and installation was $2100.!  I said no.  No water heater experience for this company.

I had to leave out of town and my kitchen sinks had water coming out of the drain! I called a few folks I found via yelp, but either I did not get a call back in time, or they were super busy that day or for the next few weeks. I got a call back from this company within the hour. These guys came in the next hour, like they said they would. They got straight to work, knew exactly what was wrong and got the job done fast. I did not have major complications, thankfully, so I was charged exactly what their ad says...$69.99. I am very grateful. Drain unclogged, and off I went!

Long story short: Never in my life have I been so delighted to pay $70 for a few minutes' work.

My toilet was clogged, and it was awful. It's possible a talented amateur could have fixed the problem with standard-issue bathroom tools, but I am not that talented amateur. So I turned to Yelp for a plumber, and came up with Mr. Fix It Right.

Bryan and his colleague arrived in less than an hour, and were quick, friendly, professional, and got the job done. The price was as advertised, and I will absolutely call them the next time we have a problem!

This was actually the third company that came out to fix the clogged sink in the kitchen. You'd think that it's a simple job, right? But no. Apparently the clog was pretty far down and required extra work. First guy wanted to charge a ridiculous amount. Second guy came out but didn't have a long enough snake -said it would take a week to get one. I called these guys, they answered the phone instead of letting it go to message and then calling back (or not, as the case may be), they were at the house earlier than they said they'd be, they fixed it and took less time than the second guy did to NOT fix the problem, and they charged us a very reasonable amount. What more can you ask for?

I phoned Bryant to request a quote for replacing a kitchen sink faucet.  He gave me a price range and suggested that I take a picture of the set up, show the photo and buy a replacement at the home improvement store.  I called back after getting the faucet and Bryant came out that day and quickly replaced the faucet.  He was extremely personable and attentive to my requests. He patiently explained what he had done and asked me whether I needed any other work.

I called on Christmas day about a slow draining tub and a whistling kitchen sink faucet.I saw the $69.99 deal for a drain clean and thought hey, that's a good deal, let me call. I was busy watching the Warriors game so I called the next day (today), and made a same-day appointment. The two techs showed up on time and checked the tub issue and main water line for the $69.99 deal. The tech explained to me that the main water line was good and showed me where it was. Silly me, I had it all wrong, thinking that the tub issue was part of the main water line. He had a sense of humor about it and explained that the slow draining tub required a snake and was a separate service for $95. I had the service done and the water was back flowing like normal. He even did a few extra things, like replace a missing screw in the tub cover plate, suggest a low cost fix for any future slow drains (Draino in the black bottle), and fixed the whistling kitchen sink. He answered all my questions honestly and was professional. Overall, he provided excellent service that I highly recommend.

I found Mr Fix It Right Plumber on Craigslist. I gave him a call and he made an appointment for later that same night to swing by and fix my plumbing problem in Oakland. I was installing a bidet i've installed before but having trouble installing leak free at this location. Turns out I was missing a washer and crossthreaded the fill valve. Bryan was able to identify both issues and ended up replacing the washer and fill valve with a reasonable flat flee for the labor and parts. He conveniently carries extra parts in his van.

Can't rate their plumbing but I can rate their driving which is bad, bad, bad. Driver tailgated someone trying to merge onto the freeway, then decided to cut me off as he went around the merger. Then driver exits shortly after, while rocking out to his tunes. Clearly not paying attention to his driving and it certainly didn't look like he was responding to an emergency!

I had a leak from my garbage disposal I called Brian and he showed up super quick and he replace my garbage disposal with a new one. The price was fair and I could tell that Brian is super professional.

Bryan came to the rescue today. I had two leaking toilets from the base last night at 8PM. They were not usable unless I wanted to clean the river that came in after it being flushed. I reached Bryan at 8:30PM and explained the issue he said he would be at my house at 8:30AM.

Bryan showed up promptly and got to work. Within 45 minutes the clogs were fixed and one of the toilets was re-sealed. He explained what happened and didn't try to add additional service (I.e. using a camera) He also told us of some great de-clogger to use for the sinks and how to apply it.

Next time I won't need to yelp a plumber, I have Bryan.

Had a slight emergency, gave Brian a call left a message. He texted me back letting me know when he could stop by. He came around the estimated time. Was very professional and friendly.

I arrived home from work on a late Friday afternoon to discover a nasty situation in my driveway from a clogged drain from our in-law unit.
It was too late to get help from a plumber that I've used on a couple of occasions, however my second call was to Mr. Fix It and Bryan answered right away. He said he would be over in 60-90 minutes and thats exactly what happened. He even called on the way. He resolved the issue quickly and charged what I thought was a reasonable rate given the situation and timing. Great communication and service.

Brian showed up the same day and fixed my garbage disposal.  His price was half of what other plumbers were saying they would charge to show up.  He's a nice man and knows what he's doing.   Great service!
