We just had a slab leak underneath the kitchen floor. After several estimates, we decided to go with PVD to re pipe the whole house with PEX.
Frederico came out for an estimate an explained to us in details what need to be done. He and his crew came out on time for the job and complete the repiping of the house in one day.  They patched up all the holes made nicely and beautifully as of nothing was done to the walls. The crew was very professional and efficient. We are very happy with their work and would highly recommend them.
Also, Erin from the home office was very pleasant, courteous and accommodating to all of our needs.  Thumb's up for everything.

Ed came to save the day!! We had a clogged shower drain that flooded our bathroom and bedroom.  We called up Fast Response Plumbing & Rooter and didn't have high hopes of getting someone in quickly given that everyone in SF is doing work on their homes....but Ed came within 6 hours and fixed our drain within 10 minutes.  Super friendly guy, also gave us advice on another matter.

If you are looking for a former U.S. military owned and honest person to work with, I believe I found our man. My mother had a clogged line that needed to be cleaned out by a professional during a holiday weekend.   I called around and my usual guys couldn't come out.  No plumbing in the house of a elderly woman,  things were looking very bad.   I finally searched yelp and found the number to Affordable Rooter Service.  The answer to my problem .  Mike the owner stopped his weekend by the pool and came to my mom's rescue.   The kindest and probably one of the most of honest men you can probably meet this day and age.  Thanks Mike, we are forever grateful to you.

Our AC went out at 5:00 PM on Sunday afternoon as a heatwave started. By the time we were able to call anyone it was almost 6:00 PM. Craig showed up promptly after finishing another job and was able to fairly quickly diagnose and resolve the issue. NIce work! We'll definitely consider using ABC again if we run into air conditioning trouble.

My water heater conked out on me and I wasn't sure what to do. I Messaged Alameda Rooter that  evening and they had Jose come out inspect my water heater the next morning. Turns out I needed a new water heater. I was quoted a more then fair price, and boy I have never been more impressed with the workmanship and efficiency that Jose provided us. My new water heater was in that evening in less then 24hrs! Highly highly recommend Alameda Rooter.

Fantastic Job!! We needed a whole house re-pipe and Simpex beat out our other estimates by a couple thousand dollars. They called and asked if they could start a day early which was great. The team came in prepped everything and cut the stucco where it was needed and re-piped all in one day. We were told the water would be off until about 4:30. They were done with the re-pipe by 1:30. Everything was cleaned up. The next day they came to patch the stucco. The team came in and they were done quickly. I came home from work and was amazed at the patching of the stucco. They did such a good job that the only way I could tell where they patched was because there was no paint in that area. They matched the wall texture perfectly. Simpex also gave us a senior discount and another discount for paying cash. My Husband has been telling the neighbors that if they need any plumbing or re-piping done they should go with Simpex. Art and his team are very responsive, reliable, and stand by their work!

We had our house repiped by Art's team last month. We had gotten a couple of bids, and not only was Art's bid very reasonable, he also showed a lot of expertise. He walked around our house and suggested to add a new hose bib in the backyard because it would be more convenient for us, so he's really looking at it from the user's perspective. He also took care of the permits for us.

On the day of repipe, his team worked quickly and finished a few minutes before the promised time.

A few days later, we noticed that the cold water valve under the kitchen was leaking a bit. We let Art know and sent him a picture. He determined that it was our water filter valve that was leaking. He looked for a custom part for us and sent a plumber out the very next day to fix it for free!

You may get lucky and get a plumber who does a good job, but to have a plumber who truly stand behind their work and provide excellent service after the initial project is very rare.

Go with Art and you won't regret it.

I highly recommend Providence Water Heaters! Long story short: my water heater tank was leaking, needed to be replaced, but was in a super inaccessible area (climb over a 3.5 ft. concrete wall in the basement, squeeze through a tiny square hole in the structural support beams, duck under the HVAC system, and there is the water tank, stuck in the corner).  I had multiple companies come out to do assessments, give estimates, etc., and I am really happy I found and chose Providence. Anthony was very calm and respectful, was able to provide an accurate estimate from photos I sent, and stood by the estimate provided with no surprise or additional costs. He is super knowledgeable about the products and I felt very comfortable with him. He installed a Navien Tankless water heater and was even able/willing to cut up the old tank so we could remove it! He pretty much had to do all this while sitting on the ledge, since there is not even enough head space to stand up. NOT easy! Anyways, I am very impressed with the high level of workmanship and customer service. They arrived on time, got right to work, left the area looking cleaner than it was when they arrived, and took time to explain all the components of the heater to me. Don't let these guys take your money or waste your time. They are a pretty crappy plumbing company, no pun intended. We called these guys to clear a simple back up problem and they were on site for less than 15 minutes. The toilet flushed slowly and then ran over!!! It was impossible to get them back out. I left the owner many messages and he never returned my call. He did cash my check the same day it was written. Abante sucks! Learn from our mistake, don't use them!

On time help from a knowledgeable technician who resolved the water heater problem in 30 short minutes. And nice people to deal with as well.

John from SJ Plumbing came out and repaired my water main valve that left me without water for my place. I sent him a picture and he was able to provide a fair quote over the phone. Another great experience with Leo, Amber and the Neighborhood Plumbing team this past week. Team showed up on time, did the job promptly and were very careful with cleaning up before they left. These are our go-to guys for any plumbing needs.

I feel it is difficult to find home repair service providers that offer good customer service.  For me, good customer service means being responsive, honest, professional, and thorough.  Eddie and his partner Jose hit those marks, and I would definitely call them out again.  In fact, this is already my second time.

My home's main water line developed a significant leak. As soon as I determined the main water line was leaking, I posted a request on Yelp to get quotes. This was in the evening. T&C responded very quickly, and we arranged for them to visit our house the next business day in the morning.

T&C gave a quote that was less than two other companies for comparable work (to repair the leak), so we hired them. Turns out that the whole line had to be replaced (instead of just a repair), so they would have to come the next day (but in the interim, they put some temporary thing on the line so that it would stop leaking). T&C's price was still better than the other two companies (for the same material, copper. Other companies offered longer warranties, but I generally believe that paying more for longer warranties is usually not worth the money. The 3-year warranty T&C gave me is ample enough, if they did any shoddy work, it will surely become apparent in much less time than that). They came out early the next day and finished the work faster than originally predicted.

Throughout, they were professional, friendly, and answered questions.

They always wore a mask (when near me).

They made efforts to disrupt the shrubs in the yard as little as reasonable.

Great plumber. Had a clogged drain on a Saturday, and after trying to clear it myself, decided I needed to call a professional.

Called and spoke to Richard, and asked for immediate service. He was at my place 28 minutes later, and was able to fix my issue in about 10 mins. Overall it only took 1 hour and 20 mins from phone call to problem fixed. Fair price, and kept my weekend on track!

Justin came by and made a very thorough visit of all the improvements that needed to be made in terms of tankless heater and moving our hydronic boiler. Could not have been more thorough and competent in his assessment. Also recommended a lower cost solution than I had considered, which added to his credibility. A real pro.

Jac was great. She was the third plumber I called this morning. The only one to answer right away.

She was quick and efficient and tried to solve my problem without needing to replace and expensive part. She was upfront about her rates. And even offered to pick me up from the Bart station since I wasn't at home when she was available.

Lastly, she was not only friendly and fun to talk to, but also great with my very aloof, very large dog who scares the heck out of most people. I'd definitely call her again.
