Todd at Grizzly Bear was amazing!  I was looking to get quotes for my mom's home, as she had a leaking main line.  Had called another plumber who had referred Todd.  Todd called me back super quick and we arranged for him to come take a look the same day.  He was able to get us a quote, and let us know that he could get the work done the following week, and it would take about a day and a half.  On the day he was going to start, he arrived early and began digging.  They didn't have to dig out my mom's jade plant luckily, nor did they have to break the driveway concrete, as they were able to pull the old pvc out.  He installed the new copper pipe.  To my surprise Todd and his guys were done before lunch!  They put the dirt back and cleaned up everything.  Even my mom was surprised at how quick they were.  I would totally recommend Todd at Grizzly Bear.  THANK YOU TODD!  FYI - My mom's water bill went down, so leak is def fixed.

I was really happy with this service. I found this company on yelp and was really happy with the quality of service they provided. They showed up early and finish the job on time. I had a full remodel bathroom and they were able to install the drain and copper pipping on time and as requested. I would definitely recommend Drain Fast service and will use them again.

I have used BG Plumbing 2 times in my home to do plumbing work.

One time to replace the underground galvanized pipe with copper and 2nd time for replacing the entire house piping with copper.

I am happy that I selected them over others because both times they were very professional, knowledgable, punctual, and well within the right price range.

They gave free estimates and also explained how will they do the work. Their estimates were not the cheapest as well as not the most expensive.

They also managed the whole city permit process.

If you are interested in a no call no show waste of your time, give Rhino Rooter a call.  Rhino Rooter was in the neighborhood on an EBMUD contract when I asked twice if they would be willing to do a small job on some exposed plumbing within my home. I made the appointment  with multiple phone calls for the next week, to be at their convenience.  I received a message in the morning of my appointment saying it could be done but wanted to know if I were flexible for my 3pm appointment. I returned the call and left my message for my appointment to be the same day, but that I was flexible. I prepared the  area for the work and planned most of my day to be present for the work.
NO call. NO show.  NO work.  And now, weeks later,  my shared advise is to look elsewhere or be prepared for some lip service and then their disappointing experience.

It's been a year since Al came to convert our galvanize pipes to copper and no leaks or other problems.  He was down to earth, efficient and clean.  Would definitely use him again.  Thanks Al.

I had the good fortune of reaching Thomas via phone on a Saturday when both the shower and toilet were both clogged and no longer draining.  How did I choose Thomas from all the possible plumbers in the immediate area?  Three reasons:  1) a May 2016 Yelp review from a customer who had similar circumstances to my own, 2) his introductory youtube video on his business homepage to me felt like a man who is humble, sincere, and took pride in his craft, and 3) my previous plumber was not reachable.

Thomas was very patient as our initial meeting took more than thirty minutes as he probed the right questions learning about the property's plumbing history.

The following afternoon, after removing the toilet to access the drain pipe, Thomas used an electric drain auger to remove strands of roots restricting the flow of water in the pipe.  Thomas felt the pipe wasn't draining as quickly as it should.  Multiple camera video inspections at various points of the clean-out showed roots clinging to the walls of the pipe at the two, ten, thirteen, and seventeen-foot intervals.  After using three different cutting blades, Thomas was able to remove almost all of the roots as we could see an unclogged pipe to the thirty-foot interval.

Thomas listed two action plans for follow-up as the root at the thirteen-foot level had his most concern.  One was a treatment of Root X which he was gracious to offer at no charge at a future date to see if it would make a difference in diminishing the remaining roots clinging to the pipe.  The second was providing an estimate on what it would take to dig up and repair the pipe.

Thomas worked on the drain line for a little over three hours on a Sunday to solve a very stressful situation.  If you want someone to give you that extra time and effort in solving a plumbing problem, my go to plumber going forward is Thomas.

We were referred to Johnny from our contractor, and have been so happy with his services. He installed our hood range and did drywall for our kitchen.

Johnny is honest, friendly, on time and very knowledgeable. He responds quickly to texts and calls. He doesn't cut corners and makes very honest suggestions, which we appreciate. He really cares about his customers.

We have his number saved and will call him for any future needs around our house.

FIVE STARS no doubt!  Thank you soooo much for everything, Edgar. You guys were awesome with the repiping job of my mom's house!  

I live in a different city and I didn't want to bombard my mom with other people coming to her house for quotes. I was also looking for someone my mom would feel comfortable with in her house while doing the job. Edgar and his team did an awesome job, and they made my mom feel really comfortable (especially because they are bilingual, and my mom feels more comfortable communicating in Spanish).  My mom felt as if her family was doing the work, and they went the extra mile to help her. They even rolled all the trash cans out one day for trash pick up for my mom NOT to do it - that action speaks volumes of the type of people they are.

The work was done about 2 months ago and the price was very reasonable. We have NOT had any issues and are extremely happy with the work. All the folks that came by for a quote only looked at the house from the outside and didn't bother to look at any pipes at all, but Edgar went beyond anyone else during the inspection to make sure that everything was quoted correctly. He did measurements, climbed up the attic, and even dug a hole to inspect the main line to make sure that he inspected ALL pipes.

Woke up to a leaking water heater when we realized there was no hot water. Hopped onto Yelp and called the 1st rated plumber in the area - ACE around 7 AM (we shut off the gas and attempted to shut off the water in the meantime). Russ the technician arrived by 8:40 AM to assess and replace our bursted heater. Russ was fantastic, super knowledgeable, kind and bought the parts/removed/installed the new 40 gal. water heater with his assistant by 1pm. Thanks for helping us fix the situation so quickly! The 6 year manufacturer warranty on the tank and 1 year warranty on the labor is a cherry on top.

I had a pinhole leak in an attic crawl space in my condo unit.  Joe was very responsive and communicative in arranging for a plumbing technician to repair the leak.  The tech Fernando was knowledgeable and professional, and performed the repair.  I would highly recommend Long Beach drain!

The only plumbers who have never ripped me off. They were fair and honest about the work that needed to be done and the pricing.

I don't often write Yelp reviews, but I felt compelled to do one today for Good Guy Plumbing.  I had an urgent issue with our house yesterday that needed attention.  When I called Good Guy Plumbing, I immediately spoke to Robert, the owner.  I didn't speak to a receptionist or a dispatch person.  I explained the situation to Robert and he was able to get a couple technicians to the house later the same day.  The technicians were knowledgeable, prompt and polite.

The most important thing, though, is that I felt like they treated me like a person.  This is the way businesses are supposed to be run.  They listened to my problem, and I really feel like they helped me.  I was in a situation where I could have easily been ripped off (and plenty out there do so).  Not Robert.  I very much appreciate it and will be using Good Guy Plumbing for all of my associated needs. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Follow up review. Talked with James and he apologized and came out. Figured out where the issue is and will be fixing asap. This is more like what prior experiences have been. He had issues getting messages during that time. They do great work.
