Best Electricians in California
Great experience! Dan showed up promptly on time, gave me a competitive price for my 220v install in the garage and finished the job within an hour with no mess made and a seamless install. I would highly recommend BAM and will plan on using them in the future for any electrical issues.

Binh Lam came to the rescue again this past weekend. A kitchen appliance circuit breaker or two popped at an inconvenient time thereby limiting my plans for entertaining that evening. Specifically, some kitchen appliances or their circuitry were faulty.
As a seasoned older couple, we always have one person we can call for help when in need. So right away we called Binh. For electrical matters, Binh is # 1 on the list. Always eager to please, he adjusted his busy daily schedule to help me out of a jam. He is more flexible than most electricians. Right away he came some distance to my home and went to work. After assessing the situation he reviewed with me the set of options and I approved one.
As he predicted, in less than an hour, he fixed the problem and cleaned up the area. What a relief! He did buy some parts and provided me with the receipts. His labor costs were quite competitive and reasonable. Customer satisfaction is an objective of his business. He aims to please!
Lam approaches all tasks enthusiastically and confidentially. His work is meticulous, focused and efficient. If you find yourself in a jam with either electrical or gas related problems, don't hesitate to call Binh. We did, and we do not regret it. You won't either.

We had a great experience using Got Watts to install an EV charger and a new main service panel. Danny and his colleague did the work and were very knowledgeable. The work was done on schedule and we wouldn't hesitate to use Got Watts again in the future.

Steve is a great electrician and has very fair pricing. We had a number of projects where I needed help including adding a 240V outlet in the garage for an electric car. He came out on time and got everything done efficiently and we were very happy. I would recommend Steve to anybody looking for an electrician.

I contacted Bellows for a quote on air conditioning in my new house. They are very responsive and professional. Gave me different options without being pushy. I chose Bellows to do the work and they responded quickly. They took precautions to protect floors and carpets while accessing the attic. Workers were polite and hard working. Best of all, they followed COVID 19 precautions while doing their work. Everything was finished on budget and under time! I selected Bellows for our annual preventive maintenance on air conditioning, heater, and tankless water heater. I'm sure they will deliver! Strongest recommendation!

Brian was really great to work with! He was the only provider who gave us a very detailed/ competitive electrical bid, followed up with us and answered all of our questions. Brian worked very hard for three days, removing, relocating, installing and finishing the new panel. Brian's help continued with the final inspection and after the job with PG&E. If you need an upgraded panel or any other electrical work done, don't hesitate to call Brian @ BMH!

We used Clever Electric to install a new sub panel and grounding conductor for our 50 years old rental. This was the second time we use them. Our experience with them both times were very pleasant. My, the owner, was very reliable and professional. The rates were reasonable. We would definitely use them again.

I highly recommend Zurc Power Solutions for all your solar needs. Francisco is very knowledgeable and can easily explain the intricacies of going solar. They installed our system 3 years ago and have kept in touch by monitoring our system to make sure everything is working properly. I've referred him to friends and they are all very happy with their systems. Best of all, in this heat we can keep our house cool and we actually got money back at the end of the year. It's easy to do. Just call Zurc Power Solutions and get your solar installed today.

Rob Odom saved us!!! I work out of town and Rob responded for my wife regarding an issue we had with our solar and house power integration. He found the problem and fixed it before it turned into a serious fire hazard. He was able to fix it quickly and for a very reasonable amount. Highly recommend him!!! Thanks again Rob!!

He knows what he is doing. The transformer was mounted, wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and overall delivery was straight forward. I'd ne happy to call him again for work needed.

I had a great experience with Sepanta Electric. The other day I needed an electrician for an emergency situation and they were able to send me an electrician within a couple of hours. There was a little work involved but still required an expert. He finished the whole thing in 5 minutes or so and had to use some material too. But at the end he didn't take anything for his time and expertise, and said maybe next time. I'm sure there'll be a next time.

We had several electrical outlets that lost power. Anthony came out and diagnosed the problem quickly and gave a reasonable estimate for repair. He was able to finish the job about an hour after he came out. Thanks again

Nor-Cal painting is a sub-contractor that I worked with during our house remodel. Vinh and his crew helped us paint both our exterior and interior house, along with our front door and our garage floor and sealed the concrete for us.
Vinh has great customer service and has been very responsive with great communication. He shows up at 7am on the scheduled day and gets right to work. We've been very happy with his work. Reliable and meticulous - Vinh's team is great. I highly recommend Nor-Cal Painting.

I got very busy at work, and was hoping to pay an electrician to come out and fix two simple problems:
* One of our main breakers started flipping when we ran our heater and dryer at the same time.
* A bathroom light fixture stopped working and was not getting power.
When the technician (Jay) arrived, he said he could not fix anything, but would instead give us an estimate. He was at our home for 2 hours looking things over. At the end of the two hours, nothing was diagnosed. Instead, he provided an estimate for over $21,000 to rip everything out and replace it all. That did not include his guess for another $4,000 to obtain a permit. Apparently, if they aren't able to diagnose the problem, they just propose to replace everything! Even better, he charged $600 for the estimate.
To put this in context, this would be like taking your car to the mechanic with a flat tire, and them saying you need to replace the car.
When I called the owner of the business (Mike) to ask what merited a $600 charge for this estimate, he informed me that if the tech has to use a tool during the estimating process (pretty sure he used a flat-head screwdriver ... that's all I used), it's $300 per hour, even though they don't actually fix anything.
I called a few other electricians who were as dumfounded as I was by this. NONE of them charge for estimates!
And now the rest of the story -
I was pretty sure this was some kind of con. I'm not an electrician, but I have basic handy skills. For the first problem they could not diagnose and wanted to charge over $20,000 to rip everything out and replace it all... I used a flat-head screwdriver to open the panel and remove the inside cover. Once I did this, I could immediately see corrosion on the wire leads going into the breaker. I spent 10 minutes with a scotch-brite pad ($1.50) and some Ox-Gard ($15) to clean up corrosion on one of the breaker leads inside my electrical panel. After fully testing the system (turning on every electric appliance in the house) I can verify this is fixed.
For the second problem where they quoted $1000 to open up dry wall and rewire to another power source - I opened up the box with a flat-head screw driver to discover a melted twist connector. When I cut the melted connector off, I could see the inside of the twist connector was also corroded thereby causing arcing that ultimately melted the connector and created an open circuit. In simple speak, I removed the melted connector, cleaned up the wires, and put on a new connector (~$.10). Everything works now. No drywall was harmed.
So for those of you keeping score, I paid about $16.10 and LESS THAN 2 hours of my time to save over $25,000.
My wife was with the tech when he was fumbling around for 2 hours, trying to diagnose the 2 problems. I was not. You can make your own assumptions for how that might have influenced what happened. Regardless, it's hard for me to understand how any trained electrician could not have done what I did in half the time. There are three potential scenarios I can see with this
1. This was my mistake - these guys are plumbers and not electricians.
2. These were two honest mistakes.
3. These guys saw the problems but also saw an easy mark for a big payday.
The final-final note on this - when I called the owner, he was surprised I was charged $600 for an estimate, but gave me the reasoning that it's $300 per hour if the guy carries a screwdriver around the house. He told me he could not see a reason for the $600 charge and would check into it. He promised to get back to me in 24 hours to clarify things. *Crickets* One week later, I got a text on my phone, Did we take care of you?

Dan came through for us for a simple GFCI outlet problem in our bathroom. I screwed it up and he fixed it. Straightforward and quick.
