I used Arsen electric for installation of an EV charging outlet at my house. I'm quite pleased with the punctuality and level of care the team provided for my job. Dmitri answered my initial call and immediately understood what I needed. The next day we had a short meeting and he inspected my electrical panel. Two hours after that everything was ready to go. Thanks again for the great work!

The long story short was the power pole in front my house fell down, then the wire pulled the overhead pipe tilt. PGE asked us to fix that first, otherwise they would not restore power back.

Have to say I never met such issue before, and the first electrician came and confirm there is no wire damage and told me I just let PGE know electrician did come and verify no damage. But our 1st electrician is quite busy so he did not have time to take care of the rest, and he did not explain clearly so I misunderstood PGE would take care of tilt pipe. In the end I had to stay at hotel for 6 days because of miscommunication and short of material to fix the pipe.

I still remember it was the 4th day I was out of electricity, and I was desperately looking for electrician's help at Saturday night. I posted a project on yelp, then I met Brayan.

Brayan is very responsive. He quickly checked all of pictures I sent, then Brayan showed on Sunday before noon to see what he could do. Brayan explained pretty well on what he is going to do. Once the work was done, Brayan also followed up with me about any request from PGE. Have to say after several days out of electricity, his quick reply and follow up did make me feel calm. Not to mention he fixed the pipe excellently. (Please check pictures) I believe Brayan would see my post. Thanks again Brayan. Really appreciate for your help.

There are less and less businesses who are honest, trustworthy and not totally out to get you. These guys are in that shrinking minority.

Outside of scheduling (which was worth the wait), the job done was flawless. They had the next best quote, higher by $50, but it was worth it.

Arrived on time, done very quickly and overall very respectable and friendly. I know that it's shocking to give someone five stars for basic civility that everyone should have, but it is the age of social media after all.

I chose Coastwide Electric for a full home re-wire and a panel upgrade to 200amp. I must say working with Mickey and his crew was an amazing experience. Every single person he brought into my house was very professional and barely took any breaks. It took them 4 days to complete all of the work and I couldn't believe it. Mickey, the manager, was on top of his crew every step of the project. He also educated me on what is running through my attic and through my walls. I have worked with a lot of contractors before but never with someone so efficient and straight to the chase. He also did all of the coordinating with PG&E and took care of the entire project while I was busy at work. If I could give them 50 stars I would. I am a very happy customer and will refer them to all of my friends. Thank you Coastwide! You were awesome!

Hewlett Electric is a knowledgeable and honest company.  I purchased a home recently and right before I moved into my new home, all the outlets in bathroom stopped working.  I called several other electricians in San Jose, they all want to charge me a fee to help troubleshoot this problem.  Then I was referring to Meigs at Hewlett Electric, he is a very knowledgeable and most important honest electrician in San Jose.  He walked me through finding a GFCI circuit in the garage that needed to reset to get all my outlets in the bathroom working.  He didn't charge me a dime for helping me found the issue.

This is what other electrician need to learn from this company.  You can charge your customer $30 or $50 to troubleshoot a very simple issue but then you don't have that customer trust.  For something simple that you think you can help the customer out, you should help them like Meigs at Hewlett Electric.  You will earn a lifetime trust from a new customer.  This is how you should build your client base.  Once again Thank you Meigs!!!  I appreciated your time to help me resolve this problem.  I know who to call next time when I need an electrician.

Ted & his crew saved us from an unsafe electrical situation left by a solar company. They installed a new mast, new main panels, new subpanels, afci breakers, and fixed some illegal circuits left by the solar guys. They were on the job for about 7 days, so I really got to know them. They are professional, honest, and do excellent work. I actually crawled and went up in the attic to double check everything myself and found no issues. The city inspector gave Ted a very hard time, but Ted kept his cool and we passed all inspections the first time.

I highly recommend working with Ted and crew!

Wesley remains outstanding.  Recently he repaired our large minkaire fan. He is cordial, thorough and resourceful-  at an affordable price.   I have recommended Alley to others and their experience was 5 star quality as well.

Great service, very knowledgeable, explained everything that I needed to know.  I needed to call around for an electrician to install my car charger and possibly upgrade my electric panel.  Got Electricians On Duty from yelp, and after a few messages back and forth, Raphael asked if he could call and explain a few things.  We spent about 20 minutes on the phone and he explained his perspective on the install and update, giving me a few options and some things to think about.  He was very personable and informative without being pushy.  I ended up talking to a few other places and the quote from Electricians on Duty was very reasonable considering the other quotes I received.  Scheduling was simple, and he showed up right on time with his team.  They said it would take a full day, and it did, but I was very happy with the result.  They installed a new, larger panel, an electric car load-management device, and the car charger.  They repaired the drywall that they had to cut and the conduit is clean and sturdy.  He re-explained all the work they did, re-labeled the new panel with all the previous information and warranties his work for 5 years.  I would use him again and would highly recommend him and his team.

Cannot thank Alvin enough for his work. Called him at 9am and arrived at 10am on the same day. Fixed the problem that previous electrician couldn't fix in less than an hour. Saved our week. Highly recommended!

I had this company installed a EV charger, scheduling was very quick and the work was done within a few hours. It was during the payment processing that things got so bad that I had to take a time off from work to deal with bank issues. Apparently the check was deposited twice to my account, long story short, this company is willing to cover the overpayments made by the bank, you don't see that kind of commitment anywhere but CA Electrical Group is going above and beyond to help me get back financially. Yes theres still this stigma of overpayment that caused a lot of headaches, time lost at work and schedules disrupted. I only hear about this from other people and when it happens to you, its nothing to be laughed at.    
Given that the bank has already started the investigation why overpayments on two identical checks was processed it will still take 7 to 10 business days to determine the why, the who and the what caused this to happen.
I despise how banks are slow to process claims whether its a credit card dispute or checking issue, but today i take back those assumptions back when my Bank credited the overpayment back to my account, while they continue to investigate this incident.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

He was attentive to our requests, he is very professional and answered all our queries. We went back-n-forth a few times over materials but he was very patient with all our requests. I highly recommend him for any handyman work.

Roman just left after fixing my backyard landscape low voltage lighting, which I had broken when replacing some plants. He was quick, friendly, and very reasonably priced. I'll use him again.

UPDATE: I used Roman again in June of 2016 to do a whole list of small items from installing several new plugs, replacing some old plugs and switches, installing a new low voltage light in the front garden, and installing a second GFI for all the plugs in my front yard that I use for my extensive Halloween and Christmas displays.

Roman is now our go-to guy for electrical needs. I'm getting ready to call Roman again with another list of small items for him to take care of for us.  :)
