California Power and Light is amazing! Several years ago I needed to upgrade my panel and wiring in my home built in 1949. The owner came over and won the bid. California Power and Light not only upgraded my panel, but also went on to rewire my whole house, upgraded my kitchen, wired my garage and has done an amazing amount of flawless work. They are always professional and fast!!! I would recommend them to anyone who needs ANY electrical done or a problem fixed. Especially if you have a home in Willow Glen or Los Gatos area. They really understand an old house and how to prevent issues.

He quickly responded on my ask for a quote , within two hours he dropped by my house and two days later I nstalled a 14-50 nema outlet to charge my electric cars. Fast, professional, and they actually returned my calls! We needed to get a couple ceiling fans installed, one in each bedroom. Dan recently did some electrical repair work for us as we prepared to sell our home. He rates are reasonable and his work was excellent. Dan was on time and completed all of the work on schedule. I highly recommend Dan for any electrical work you need to have done.

Super fast service and communicative. I had a 240 wall charger installed and he great work. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and was able to walk me through the least expensive way to do it.

I think honest contractors are hard to come by and this company is a gem to deal with. He also responded to all of my texts immediately, which was surprising.

We worked with Clifford and Kelley. Kelley helped us remotely on our AC unit that saved us a lot of trouble. Clifford came to our house to perform an inspection. The interactions with both were great as far as responsiveness, explaining every step of the way and making sure that our needs were met.

David and Sergio just installed led light fixtures in our kitchen. They were very service oriented and did an excellent job. Patient throughout the process helping us to select the best light arrangement for our kitchen.

Our AC Unit stopped cooling in the middle of this heat wave. I called Fuse HVAC and they had somebody here very quickly. The technician was Vlad. It really took a lot of diagnostic elimination on his part. He checked everything twice. I think he went into my attic where is must have been 200 degrees five times checking different things on the main unit. After two hours, he figured it out. Next day, 100 degress and still working perfectly. Thank you Vlad for not giving up in this horrible heat.

I needed to replace two ceiling flush mounts. Caio provided a reasonable quote when I contacted him about the job. Compared to some crazy quotes I got. Caio arrived at my place ON TIME, was extremely respectful, and explained what he was doing. Answered all my questions calmly and even went with me to Lowes to get some parts since I was not sure of the right sizes. He completed the installation in a timely fashion. I bought a Google Hello Nest battery doorbell and decided to hire Jack to convert it to a wired one so I don't  have to worry about having to charge and babysit it. He also updated the outlet to a GFCI one.

Jack was easy going, communicative from the start, pleasant to work with, and prompt. He speaks English and Vietnamese. I think his pricing is fair. He took his time to make sure everything worked and was to my liking, such as the view angle, the location of the device, and different options for installation. We ran into an issue with the wall studs being in the way and he was able to provide workable options. He cleaned up after himself, wore a mask, and took his shoes off to do the work.

The work was clean and everything is working great so far! I would hire him again in the future when I need electrical work.

Lost an entire circuit in one part of our home, reached out to Carlos in the morning, he showed up a couple hours later, fixed the issue in minutes and we were good to go! 5-stars for his prompt service.

My HVAC guy figured that the furnace was ok but something was wrong in the breaker box.  He referred me to Hormoz.  It was a bad breaker that caused the furnace not turning on.  He quickly replaced the defective breaker and now my furnace is back to live.  Will go back to him for other electric issue.

My townhouse was built in the 80's.  Over the past 17yrs I've had several shorts occur (a receptacle melted, a switch burned up and a wirenut melted)  The breakers never tripped.  I assume it was faulty receptacles,  switches or connections in gang box in the wall.  I had another short a few days ago and and could not locate it myself.  I called a electrician I knew (who does commercial) and was referred to David Electric.  I called left a message and Albert called me back quickly.  He came out the next day he was on time and ready to work.  As soon as he opened the door on my breaker panel, he told me it was a major fire hazard and needed to be replaced.  The panel was known to not trip a breaker when it should and thus wires in the house get hotter and hotter in an overload situation until there is a failure - just like I had multiples times in the past.  I later looked up the details on the panel (Zinsco GTE-Sylvania) and found many reputable sources and news articles indicating the breaker panel had been recalled/pulled from market in 1984 (4 years after my home was built) and was a major fire hazard.  Albert quoted me $1500 to replace the panel with my choice of Siemens or GE panels labor, parts, and tax all-in. (I looked up pricing and in the Silicon Valley that is a fair price.) Permit was all set. He even offered to do the online application for the permit. He then proceeded to find where the short was and gave me a very good quote for that too.  He spent 2 hours searching and troubleshooting, including working in the attic.  The repair took another hour in the attic and about 30 mins rewiring two sets of switches in the primary bedroom. (troubleshooting, new wire, materials and repair $380)   He noted I had a freezer in the garage and offered to put a new dedicated circuit GFCI receptacle in for that which would reduce future break trips as my garage and primary bedroom were all (unfortunately) on one circuit and thus spread the load out. (new receptacle location parts and labor $160).  

David was friendly and very respectful of my home.  He was neat and clean, cleaning up after himself.  He communicated with me and answered my questions.  I did ask for an estimate and he gave me numbers via text message which was fine.  He did give me detailed written invoices.  He communicated via text message quickly and clearly. His pricing is very fair based on what I saw in the marketplace and I have no doubts that his work was to code and done very well and professionally.   He's a nice guy and just wants to do a good job.  I would absolutely call Albert and David Electric back if I need any further electrical work.   I'm so happy with his work, I'll be recommending him to my Homeowners Association as we have 10 other townhouses with the same dangerous breaker panels.

I feel compelled to add to the sea of good reviews here based on the level of service received.

I've never had to request the help of an electrician before but Michael made it so easy. The fees are incredibly reasonable, the work flawlessly professional and it was really fun to ask questions about how everything worked.

Listened to what we wanted, then gave reasonable  recommendations, and were honest with pricing. They even gave options for lower cost methods or items, if I wanted.
One days work: Finished full install of recessed lighting in 2 bedrooms with no ceiling lights completed with dimmer switch, two hallway lights switched out for recessed lights and ran a new line to the master bath so we can later have a higher powered exhaust fan. When ever an aesthetic decision was to be made they asked before doing the work.

I was given richard's name through a family member who had just had work completed in his home by richard. Since then, richard has been to my home three times for electric work. One was to fix ceiling lights in our family room that wouldn't turn on (turns out that the wiring was not done correctly), the second was to put in recessed lighting in our living room and install a light in our boys room and the third time was to put in field lights on our turf lawn (aka soccer field) and around our gazebo. Each time the work was done w/ great care and attention to detail at competitive prices! Not to mention many times he has done extra work. For example, we left for europe last summer and I discussed the possibilty of having our living room lighting done while we were gone to prevent disruption w/ a hectic household. Richard not only did the lights but he also went through our old home (1940's) and fixed a good portion of our old outlets to bring them up to code!!!! this is a perfect example of the detail he puts into each project. Our old home will require many more electric projects and we are incredibly happy that we found richard!  He is trust worthy, honest, caring and humorous man who takes great care in making sure the job is done well.
