We needed to upgrade our service panel from 100 to 200 amp.  The service provided was superior in all aspects. The job was done quickly, expertly and at a reasonable price. The customer service was great as well. Both Henry and Doug did a great job at keeping me informed, explaining the work to be done, and then following through on their commitments. After several unreturned calls from other electricians, I headed to Yelp to look for someone reliable.  I found that reliable electrician in Dan. He returned my message within the hour and I was on his schedule in a day.  He is knowledgeable, professional, and very reasonably priced.  He came to fix two outlets, but helped us with much more.  He will be our electrician in the future.  I highly recommend him.

I will always go with Jum for all my electrical needs. Finding a good, honest electrical guy is almost as important as finding an honest plumber.  

Needed an electrical problem solved so got a bunch of quotes on Yelp. There are the whole slew of players...The non responsive guy, High end expensive guy, the shady guy that will do it without a permit and the worst...the guy that lured you in with a free evaluation then throws down a huge bill.

I remembered talking to Jim and he provided a fair quote and was no bs. It was a these are the services I provide and this is how much I cost.  If you want cheap and I permitted, I'm not your guy but in a very professional and nice manner.

He was booked out a week, but i always remembered that conversation.  Especially when I got the guy that gave me the free evaluation but wasn't really free.

Fast forward a few weeks and I needed my main panel upgraded.  Jim was one of the first guys I called. A lot of guys that will upgrade your panel, but Jim quoted me a very reasonable rate but with all the permits and things done the right way.  He delivered. Showed up on time, took care of all logistics with PGE/city.  Did the install in a day with his assistant.

He did a fantastic job.

We ended up having another electrical issue a few weeks later and Jim was the first person I called.  Instead of coming out and fixing the issue, he talked us through the easy fix and didn't even charge us.

If you want an electrician who knows his stuff, is honest and will actually be the guy that shows up at your door to fix your issue, Jim is your man.

A couple weeks delayed on this review, but I have to say Kelley and Edwin are awesome! I called with an urgent ask for some electrical work (light fixture removal, swap and installation) to be completed in a couple days. Initially I was told they were booked out, but they ended up making time to complete the work by the date I wanted! They also came back to install one last light fixture and a few towel racks. I called David on Saturday about a dryer outlet issue and he came out on a Sunday morning for me after I explained how I couldn't take time off of work during the week. He promptly arrived at 8:30 am Sunday morning, found the problem right away, went to Home Depot for the part and fixed my outlet and breaker. (I had a loose wire with cracked breaker) I also had him replace a light outside that hadn't worked for years! He charged a fair price and was very courteous and friendly. I didn't catch his helper's name but he was great too. He offered suggestions for the future to make sure my home stayed safe. I will definitely hire him for future work!

Llyas from Fuse HVAC did a great job fixing my furnace. He was quick to identify the problem and patient and checked to make sure everything works perfectly before wrapping up the work. He worked until 7 pm to make sure we have heat for the evening.

Caio installed a new outlet for less than one third the cost that other vendors quoted on Yelp. He was friendly and professional, and the whole process was fantastic start to finish. I appreciated that he provided a quote via video chat (others refused and insisted on an in-person quote). Highly recommended!

I bought a Google Hello Nest battery doorbell and decided to hire Jack to convert it to a wired one so I don't  have to worry about having to charge and babysit it. He also updated the outlet to a GFCI one.

Jack was easy going, communicative from the start, pleasant to work with, and prompt. He speaks English and Vietnamese. I think his pricing is fair. He took his time to make sure everything worked and was to my liking, such as the view angle, the location of the device, and different options for installation. We ran into an issue with the wall studs being in the way and he was able to provide workable options. He cleaned up after himself, wore a mask, and took his shoes off to do the work.

The work was clean and everything is working great so far! I would hire him again in the future when I need electrical work.

Worked with Mike at Courtesy Electric to get an electric vehicle charger installed in my garage. Mike was fast, professional, and easy to work with. He got the permits, worked with the inspector, ran the electrical and even mounted to charger I had purchased. Mike made the process way easier than I had expected given my past experience with other electricians who often don't go the extra mile. I highly recommend Courtesy Electric.

The owner is responsive and had his team to my home within 48 hours. They  figured out the trouble (a loose wire nut in one outlet), and corrected it. The price was reasonable. I concur with the other positive recommendations for this company and recommend people looking for an electrician use them too!

My townhouse was built in the 80's.  Over the past 17yrs I've had several shorts occur (a receptacle melted, a switch burned up and a wirenut melted)  The breakers never tripped.  I assume it was faulty receptacles,  switches or connections in gang box in the wall.  I had another short a few days ago and and could not locate it myself.  I called a electrician I knew (who does commercial) and was referred to David Electric.  I called left a message and Albert called me back quickly.  He came out the next day he was on time and ready to work.  As soon as he opened the door on my breaker panel, he told me it was a major fire hazard and needed to be replaced.  The panel was known to not trip a breaker when it should and thus wires in the house get hotter and hotter in an overload situation until there is a failure - just like I had multiples times in the past.  I later looked up the details on the panel (Zinsco GTE-Sylvania) and found many reputable sources and news articles indicating the breaker panel had been recalled/pulled from market in 1984 (4 years after my home was built) and was a major fire hazard.  Albert quoted me $1500 to replace the panel with my choice of Siemens or GE panels labor, parts, and tax all-in. (I looked up pricing and in the Silicon Valley that is a fair price.) Permit was all set. He even offered to do the online application for the permit. He then proceeded to find where the short was and gave me a very good quote for that too.  He spent 2 hours searching and troubleshooting, including working in the attic.  The repair took another hour in the attic and about 30 mins rewiring two sets of switches in the primary bedroom. (troubleshooting, new wire, materials and repair $380)   He noted I had a freezer in the garage and offered to put a new dedicated circuit GFCI receptacle in for that which would reduce future break trips as my garage and primary bedroom were all (unfortunately) on one circuit and thus spread the load out. (new receptacle location parts and labor $160).  

David was friendly and very respectful of my home.  He was neat and clean, cleaning up after himself.  He communicated with me and answered my questions.  I did ask for an estimate and he gave me numbers via text message which was fine.  He did give me detailed written invoices.  He communicated via text message quickly and clearly. His pricing is very fair based on what I saw in the marketplace and I have no doubts that his work was to code and done very well and professionally.   He's a nice guy and just wants to do a good job.  I would absolutely call Albert and David Electric back if I need any further electrical work.   I'm so happy with his work, I'll be recommending him to my Homeowners Association as we have 10 other townhouses with the same dangerous breaker panels.

I found mike on telp and called for to do a rewire for my house and panel replacement. He came and reviewed my electrical wiring and gave me a good quote. Good pricing for his job and estimate future work. I would call him again

We called JCM Electric when we had an issue at our house during the Holidays, they responded right away, and resolved our issue quickly!   James and Eric were responsive, friendly, and extremely professional, and we will use JCM Electric for any future issues that arise.
