My family and I have used Archbold Electric for many years now on various projects. The owner, Brian, is very personable and easy to work with! We used a contractor before that claimed to be specialized in electric work and were disappointed. I recommend going with someone that specializes in electrical over a one stop construction company! You'll save a lot of money but not having to redo faulty work like we had to. Hope that helps.

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

He is pleasant to work with and quickly and efficiently solves all of our electrical problems from small jobs to large-scale electrical improvements. We will use Valencia Electric for the rest of our electrical needs from now on.  Natalie does amazing work and left us feeling so much safer about our 100 year-old home's quirky wiring/outlets.  We had several faulty interior outlets assessed and replaced along with all of our outdoor outlets.  Natalie also rerouted a dishwasher outlet, checked the panel and assessed our attic and crawlspace to make everything safe and bring it up to code.  She helped us problem-solve and she was super efficient, considerate, very fairly priced, clean and COVID-safe.  Not only that, Natalie is extremely knowledgable about her trade and is a very chill and kind person to work with.  She also pointed out an obvious problem with our HVAC unit, which isn't even her job, so we could have that addressed.  Above and beyond. We had to install a video doorbell and floodlight camera. Reached out via yelp for a quote. Tyler was quick to respond, came the next day and gave quotes which were better than others I had received. He was responsive after that when I had to schedule the appointment and coordinate the follow-up. He showed up on time, was professional and did a good job. Will use his services again if needed in the future

Jonathan came to my house.He was through and was  very through in his inspection.At every stage, he said explained me the usage and the current state of the system.He made sure that masks were on and shoe cap was worn inside the house.I highly recommend this tune up from service champion

I asked Orbis Electrical Works for help with adding an outlet to my toilet wall for a new Toto washlet toilet seat. They came to my house for a free estimation on time and answered my questions very patiently. A few days later, they came to complete the project promptly. I'm happy to have them help with my project, and will definitely hire them again when needed in the future.

I've been using Divine Electric for a few years now, and am always very pleased with their service.  Today was no exception.  My hot tub died and
I couldn't get the breaker switch to turn back on.  The technician, Joseph, was extremely knowledgable and helpful.  He got the tub to turn back on and
suggested I might want to consider a new switch (old one was 14 yrs old).  So
I ordered a new switch to be installed.  Great service and fair price.

Ryan is a lifesaver! We bought an older house last year so many pieces are old and giving out or were improperly done by the previous owner. Ryan spent more than a week helping us with big jobs like tearing out dry rot and redoing wood siding (woohoo he matched the paint despite a clueless store employee trying to give him the wrong shade and special ordered our wood siding that other handymen said weren't sold anymore), trim, realign, sand down, and paint an old door that wouldn't close, and replace several leaking pipes under the house. It was thousands of dollars of work which hurt, but Ryan tried really hard to help us save money with alternative options to repair and being honest when a job was smaller than originally quoted so we could have a small discount to be fair. He saved our door, got original hardware moved so it worked without replacing it, and crawled under the house multiple times extra just to get me photos/video of a surprise leak that popped up on the other side of the house during the final walk through. I was able to prevent mold and rot under my house thanks to him going above and beyond our contract. Ryan came to work even sick with the flu because I was trying to meet a deadline and beat a rainstorm. He's a good local guy and does volunteer work for local school sports teams to give back to the community too. We've got your cards and will be calling again for the next repair in this little old house, thanks Ryan!

The entire team at Hope electric is fantastic and highly professional.  We purchased and had installed a Generac 22KW generator from them.  The installation was complex since we had another smaller gasoline generator that we wanted to keep in the circuit and be able to run. Additionally there was some outside wiring that needed to be upgraded, AND we wanted to get this all permitted.  Building permits in Santa Cruz are not easy.  They did a fantastic job of the installation, the set up and dealing with the county. They overcame numerous problems for us, got the work done in a timely manner with no price surprises....I can not recommend them highly enough. Wilson is very professional and efficient. He helped me solve some issues with my rigid conduit requested by PG&E for my electrical panel upgrade. I needed help fast because this problem blocked my house remodel inspection.  Wilson is very flexible to support my timing needed. And he did a great job fixing the issue.  Highly recommended!

Sam was terrific helping me fix the issues created when we had a PG&E transformer blow up on  our street. It blew out my garage door opener, my doorbell, 2 GFI outlets, my Keurig coffee machine, my Sonicare toothbrush and several other things in my house.  Sam came in and quietly and efficiently fixed everything, and at a very reasonable price.

I have had many electrical jobs done by Cross Electrical.  We had a pool built in our backyard recently and had Cross Electrical put in a upgraded electrical box panel so we can have enough power for the Heater/pump for the pool.  Never had a problem.  Mr. Cross is an honest worker and does his work in a timely manner.  I would recommend Cross Electrical.  Very kind family owned business.  Will go out of there way to help you.

I have an odd-shaped, loft-style condo with super high ceilings that presented many lighting challenges.  Dave did an outstanding job designing and installing a monorail light system.  He basically had to spend 3+ days on a 20-foot ladder and get the monorail lights to line up correctly in a living space that looks rectangular but is actually slightly curved and wider at one end than the other.  I know that getting it correct was a major headache.  Nevertheless, he was very professional and on budget.  I was very happy with his service and love my new lights and ceiling fan.

Hillsborough Electric's Bob is terrific.  After trying to walk me through the circuit box during a phone call (not unlike trying to teach a squirrel to play the violin), he came out and took all the time necessary to locate the multiple electrical panels in my insane, built-out rental house.  In doing so, he stayed till after sundown, when the lights at last went on.  

We negotiated an extremely fair price. Though I do not welcome more electrical trouble, I would be happy to have him back any time, and can't recommend him more highly.

JR returned my call when it's nearly impossible to get an electrician due to all of the remodeling.  He came the same week and he and his partner found a way to hang my pendant lamp and sealed the base. It looks beautiful- the way it should. He was very reasonable with the price for his work. Great can do attitude as well. Highly recommend.

I've got my EV plug taken care of within one day. They fast and professional, i submitted for quotes to a few vendors, they came back with reasonable rate.
