Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.
OK, my story. I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely. I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc. I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco. I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job. No sales; no project managers. While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary. Mega Power does everything very fast. Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours). One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof. Installation of 24 panels was done within one day. City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire. Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours. Passed city inspection. Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story. Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that. Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive. Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication. Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady. I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

								I highly recommend Tyler.
He came in and figured out what was wrong in my garage immediately and offered a quick fix instead of an earlier guy who tried to convince me that I needed a $2000 rewire.
I needed to fix my light fixture. He was very patient and offered his professional opinion without pushing me towards either option. In the end, I got all my light fixtures replaced and it felt really great.
I would hire him again. :)

During a heatwave, our AC wouldn't turn off. Service Champions was able to squeeze us in, with an arrival time of 5pm- 10pm. That was fine with us, as we needed the unit to turn off!  On his last stop, on his way home, Cash came to the rescue! We received a text that he was on his way, and we were able to follow him, along the 580 coming from Castro Valley to Livermore. Cash asked great questions and he was able to figure out what the problem was. He had the part on his truck and was able to change it in no time. He even went into the attic to check out our furnace and make sure it was running well.  He totally knocked our socks off. He was polite, professional and took time to talk to our neighbor who came over after noticing the Service Champions truck parked outside. I would not hesitate to call Service Champions again and ask for Cash to come back; if needed!  It was a long hot day, but Cash was helpful and didn't mind fixing the problem for us.

Ivo and his guy Miro were great to work with and I'd work with them again in the future. I put out an inquiry on Yelp to 5 electricians and Orbis Electrical Works was the first to respond (within minutes). From there, Ivo and I communicated regularly to work out the details. He got me scheduled to begin work within a week and from there it took 2 days to install lights for 3 rooms. Miro came and did the work and he was great. He took great care to properly cover the carpet and the furniture, which I greatly appreciated. Ivo and Miro were very experienced and professional, demonstrated by their advice for installation and their knowledge of fire codes. Safety was a top priority for them which made me feel at ease.

We have had great success with Divine Electric on past projects but have never tried the Plumbing business.  WOW!  We are very pleased.
We had two projects, a whole house filtration system and a Grohe Blue Sparkling water system for the kitchen faucet. To us, these feel like two projects on the more complex side and they were done to perfection.
Alex is fantastic. He is everything we could want:
- Responsive
- Knowledgeable
- Fair Priced
- Interested
- On time
- Great communicator
We have dealt with so many contractors that don't even return a call and Alex was a breath of fresh air.
We will be using Divine on our next plumbing and Electrical projects.
Great job Divine.

I am so glad to find such a great handyman from Yelp.  My door is out of alignment due to some poor installment job from the painter,  Ryan arrived at my house promptly after some information exchange by phone. He helped to realign the door and adjusted the strike plate location, the door now can be opened and closed appropriately.  I asked him to fix another sticky door and he did the adjustment for free.  I never expect any contractors do any work for free, no matter how small the job is, they always ask for more money, so I feel really happy.  I definitely recommend Ryan to be your next handyman.

Hired John and his team to do a complete rewire and multiple panel upgrade at my home and ADU in Santa Cruz. He came up with great solutions with multiple challenges when PG&E refused to increase amperage at main panel. His team was always on time and well scheduled. Good communication throughout the project. Worked with my special needs as a do it yourselfer. Quality work with quality parts.John, Ocea, Jesus and Jesse were fantastic to work with. Highly recommended.

I really put Sam and his helpers through their paces in the past month: a serious underground conduit repair, establishing a new appliance circuit, adding a 220v outlet to a workshop, and finally, a subtle and difficult maneuver involving connecting a built-in appliance to a box that was just a few inches in the wrong place, inside a tight-as-a-drum installation space. While working in the main panel he proclaimed the work space too dark (which it was), so he threw in a utility light while he was in there. I'm completely satisfied with the work, the prices, and Sam's optimistic, can-do spirit.
The most difficult job, finding and fixing an underground electrical line that traveled partly under the driveway, partly right through the roots of a tree (the line having arced, melted and burned while underground!), was fixed durably and beautifully. Another electrician had refused to even attempt it, saying we should bypass the underground line and just string an ugly overhead line to the workshop. Not Sam: he had it diagnosed, found, dug up and repaired before the day was out.
A neighbor referred Alpha General Electric to me, saying Sam maintained a number of her rental properties. Which said to me that he's seen it all, and become resourceful at finding problems and fixing them quickly and on a budget. I was not disappointed.

Very easy and fast response with Cathleen on initial set up including all the different changes on our part. She was very patient with me. It is a family business and all I can say it is a professional, very very knowledgeable, honest, friendly, and compassionate company. It was very good to see Doug again, and be introduced to Jerry (Doug's Brother) & Rolando (Rolo). We were referred to them a few years ago by PGE when my husband noticed that the main circuit breaker panel had strange arching noice. Doug came out to replace and fix the issue immediately, we were impressed.  He did an excellent job. We live in an old 50's home and the past owner did some really strange & challenging things to the wirings on the kitchen socket and bathroom exhaust fan. Cross Electric tackled the jobs like champions to resolve the challenging wiring problems and resolved them in an outstanding way. Btw Wow! We like the new bathroom exhaust fan...it is the most quiet we've ever experienced! There pricing is very fair and even though there were a lot of surprises along the way they charged us at a very reasonable cost.  We have some remodel to do the next few years and we will certainly be seeing them many more times. Thank you very much Cross Electric!!

With the storm coming trough last night, the high winds lifted our car canopy, hit overhead garage wires but didn't take them down. The main breaker went out to the house at this point .. 12:30 am. I have used Gomez Electrical before and sent a message. Not expecting to hear anything from Alvaro till the morning, but he responded right back! He was out this am and fixed everything! Luckily before the rains started again. Cannot express my gratitude enough for this young man and his company. Informative, professional and caring. I would highly recommend him!

We had been sitting in the dark for about 3 weeks waiting for our previous Electrician to call but he never did.  Bob came highly recommended so I gave him a call.  Not only did he answer, he was able to come out that afternoon.  He is very efficient and did some research to get us the best prices for replacement parts we needed. Since I didn't have any knowledge of what he was doing, he kindly took a moment to explain to me so I would have a better understanding.  I would definately call Bob again and highly recommend him for your Electrical needs!  He gets the job done and his rates are very reasonable!

Quick, professional service that was completed on-time and all permitted through the city of San Jose, Arash and team did a fantastic job.
The project for my home was to install a NEMA 14-50 eletrical outlet on the side of my home, in order to connect a ChargePoint electric car charger. The difficulty was also I was having solar installed by a different team, so I needed to a 150 AMP subpanel installed to allow the 50A ChargePoint to have adequate power. Arash and team did the following:
- Installed 150A subpanel, all wired to main panel to allow solar in future, on the side of our home
- Installed/mounted/wired ChargePoint Car Charger
- Installed/mounted/wired NEMA 14-50 outlet
All of this work Arash and team got permitted with the city of San Jose, so everything is on the level. There was one small miscommunication on my part (how I wanted the cable to exit from under my home) and Arash fixed it quickly and cleanly. All of this larbor intensive work cost $3800, including materials and permitting. The entire time Arash and team was willing to communicate over text, which was very helpful for someone working all the time! I was able to ask all the question I wanted to make myself comfortable with the process.
Highest recommendations from Arash and team.

Called Los Gatos Electric on a Saturday to discuss upgrading my main electrical panel to support a charger for a Tesla. Phone was answered by Jim Holliday, the owner who asked that I send a couple of pictures of the main and sub panels so he could assess. Later that day, he called me back and said he was in the area and asked if I'd be available at home for his to drop by and see the job in person. At that time, there was no mention of any charge, I just assumed he needed additional info that wasn't included with my pictures.
When he came out, he indicated that there wasn't enough space in any one of the panels to do the upgrade and install the charger, and that the options to upgrade and create space would cost between $2200 and $12000, depending on what option I picked...the most expensive being the option that included 'future-proofing' my house, so that other electrical items could be easily added in the future. The least expensive option included replacing a couple of breakers and sizing them down, so that additional space could be created on the panel. Fine with all this, I signed his estimate for approx $2178 and he asked for a check, which I told him I didn't have with me, but I could pass it on to him on Monday from my office.
Problems started later that evening when he texted me and asked me what time he could pick up the check. I told him I was reconsidering doing the work, before getting a second estimate. He then said I would owe him for a 'dispatch' fee, even though I had never agreed to that, and that I was the unethical one because I asked for time to get a second opinion. It just seems that the sales tactics are too high pressure and that Jim prioritizes collecting the money over doing the right thing for the customer. I am happy I have declined to pursue the project with Los Gatos Electric.
