I had Brian and Chris install an electric car charger at our house. Brian was prompt coming over and telling me what needed to be done, and Chris was also right on time and finished the work in the exact amount of time he estimated. The installation is faultless and exactly what I wanted.  I highly recommend them and will be using them as my standard service from now on!

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

We had a not so straight-forward light installation.  We initially hired a supposed highly-rated diamond certified company for the job.  The end result was appalling.  It didn't even begin to resemble what we asked for and what was agreed upon.  We were left with unsightly wiring and a light fixture dangling in an unstable fashion from the ceiling.  When we asked them to fix it and do what was agreed upon, we got these elaborate excuses for why it would be too difficult and cost prohibitive.  Needless to say, we felt totally scammed.  We couldn't leave the fixture in that state, so we carefully started looking again for an honest and competent electrician.

Enter Natalie and Valencia Electric.  What a breath of fresh air in a sea of predatory contractors!  Natalie came over to provide an estimate and described exactly how she would tackle the job.  Without telling her how we wanted the light and wiring to be installed, she suggested exactly what we had envisioned, and added some very creative and thoughtful improvements.  Her efforts were Herculean and the end result is beautiful!  I still smile every time I look at the fixture.  Natalie has renewed our faith in humanity (and contractors)!

Natalie is so professional and talented, but equally importantly she is very kind and incredibly honest.  We will never use anyone else.

I heard a buzzing/crackling noise in my fuse box and orbis sent out an electrician within an hour. He was able to diagnose a wire that shorted, changed the affected breakers, cut out a junction box and change the burnt wires within an hour. Very knowledgable and great service. I'll be saving this number for sure.

When you use this company, make sure to ask for Paul Kelly. He's a skilled electrician with a wonderful nature. He explained things in a way I could understand, I know nothing about electricity, and he fixed things well in a decent amount of time. He was also very kind to my dogs, would have to be underfoot!
We were given an estimate to bring our electricity setup into the 21st century (not even kidding, we have twist-in instead of flip boxes!) and we will be asking for this gentleman to do the work.
If you happen to read this, Paul, thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to make a piece child-safe for my middle schoolers to take apart when school starts next month.

Just because Cross Electrical seems too good to be true, it doesn't mean that the reviews are false.  They're probably just an exceptional company to do business with.

I've written a number of reviews for Yelp in the past, and I'll vouch for Doug and Cathy Cross.  They're the real McCoy.  As incredible as it may seem, a visit from these electricians will leave you astounded.  They arrive on time, quote you a fair price and stick with it, clean up after they're done, and are always available to answer any questions you may have.

Yelp,  they really are a five-star, no-question-about-it kind of company.

Alvaro was the first to respond to my inquiry and based on his reviews, I just went with him. He was very efficient and saved me time, which I really appreciated. First, he gave me a quote based on the photos I provided; then, he came in on time to do his work.
He did my entire kitchen wiring after remodeling and installed some kitchen lights and Wi-Fi switching. Additional work came up during the installation of all these, and he explained the situation and got it done at a reasonable price.
I love my kitchen lights and am pleased with Alvaro's work. He pays attention to detail and cares for your product as if it was his own.
Overall, his work was professional, in a timely manner, and at a reasonable cost. I would very much recommend Gomez Electric. You won't be disappointed.

I have an odd-shaped, loft-style condo with super high ceilings that presented many lighting challenges.  Dave did an outstanding job designing and installing a monorail light system.  He basically had to spend 3+ days on a 20-foot ladder and get the monorail lights to line up correctly in a living space that looks rectangular but is actually slightly curved and wider at one end than the other.  I know that getting it correct was a major headache.  Nevertheless, he was very professional and on budget.  I was very happy with his service and love my new lights and ceiling fan.

Bob really came through for me after I had damage to my electrical box and vertical pipe (mast) following recent wind storms. PG&E shut off my power and left me in the dark.  I called him on a Saturday, and he walked me through a number of fixes over the phone but I eventually got to a point where I needed his professional assistance. He was very straightforward about his pricing and did a great job with the fix. I learned a lot just by working with him.

This is just on the principle of the person called me back  even though I didn't leave a message. Also talked me through the troubleshooting respectfully.  I appreciate that.  I would definitely be calling them back if I can't get what I need fixed.

This company is fraudulent, Jim's electrical  license has been suspended for long time, BE CAREFUL with this company I worked with them and they didn't pay me on time, please do your research before hiring. Thrust me
