Ricky Sherman did a tremendous job helping me troubleshoot faulty wiring at my house. He took the time to walk me through what was wrong and made sure everything was wired correctly. He was punctual, knowledgeable, neat, and professional.

We just recently purchased our home in Santa Cruz. We hired Chris to upgrade our electrical box and install/update lighting throughout our home. Chris and his team performed the work beautifully with an eye for detail and creating magical spaces. We completely trusted Chris with his expertise and he delivered! Excellent, excellent work.

We had some issues getting some outlets in our kitchen working. Ron contacted us quickly and was able to get out to our house within a couple of days. He showed up right on time and was able to quickly diagnose and repair the issue. He walked through the problem with me, and also identified some other issues that we may want to address with our electrical system. He was patient and personable and I look forward to working with him again.

We had a cabinet repair that was needed. Dave was able to come on short notice and fix everything for a very reasonable price. We also got the time wrong, but Dave was very nice about it and re-scheduled on short notice.

We had a fifteen-year old under-cabinet halogen light plugged into an electrical outlet in the kitchen (tile backsplash). The outlet had a loose wire which, after being fine for twenty years, finally gave out. The outlet was original to the house (1997). The outlet overheated and melted down, incidentally, when no one was around to see the flash or smell burnt plastic. While we know rudiments of electricity, this meltdown was beyond our knowledge and we felt we needed an expert electrician's opinion and treatment. We shut off that circuit at the circuit-breaker box. I felt very anxious on how bad the damage was, and was it likely to happen again.

We left a couple messages at JET, and within a few hours, they called back. We made appointment for the next day. Rick came out the next day (a Saturday). He clued us in what had happened, and fixed everything. The meltdown was a fluke, and did not extend past the outlet itself.

Rick took the outlet back to the office. He said he wanted to show it around because he had not seen an outlet melt down that badly in a long time. He said that it could have been worse -- we were lucky but in any case, such a meltdown would not have burned the house down, even if it had happened with an outlet set in drywall. I can rest easy.

That said, as an aside, halogen lights get very hot, are obsolete, and are a fire hazard. We are going to remove all of the halogen under-cabinet lights and replace them with LEDs. Electricians are correct in steering customers away from halogens for under-cabinets. Use LED or fluorescent!

Over the years, this is something like the fourth time we have needed an electrician where we have called on JET. Each time, JET has been very good.

We had recessed lighting installed in our old home (had no recessed lighting at all before). The owner himself came to give us estimate. He was very professional and wasn't pushy at all.

It took us sometime before we can schedule a installation with him (he had previous big contract works) but it was worth a wait as his installation was very clean and professional. After installation it look as if my home has recessed lights preinstalled. :)

Our living room has a really high celling which took him sometime to get it done but he was very particular throughout the time. He was very punctual, professional (making sure none of other furniture gets messy) and was always on time every day. He also covered all the patches he made and applied paint on top (paint you have to provide as he wouldn't know what exact paint was on wall). Final finished work was really clean and can't even see where he fix the patch.

We really liked his work and has recommended to many of our friends and family.

Excellent service from D&C Electric! They came to install ceiling fans for us today. They were prompt, efficient, extremely professional, and did an amazing job with each installation. I was working from home today and had to deal with a lot of phone calls and meetings. Daniel and his father were so patient with me. They had questions to ask to ensure that everything was done correctly and I appreciated the fact that they patiently waited for me to finish my calls whenever they had a query. They left everything so clean too. I am very impressed and I will not hesitate to hire them again for my next project.

Jesse and his crew members are great to work with! AOE was quick to respond for an on-site estimate for installing a light over our kitchen table and quick to get us in the schedule once we decided to do the work. He and his assistant arrived on time, took great care to keep our entrance and kitchen clean while in process. AOE was thoughtful and helpful with the proper placement of the light in relation to the other lights over our island and did a great job of installing a new dimmer switch without marking up the walls or creating a need to repaint. When they were done it was like the light had always been there! They did the job efficiently and we are really happy happy we went with Alpha Omega. We'll definitely call them again for electrical needs.

They were friendly, on time, and informative.  Told me everything to expect and did it.  I asked questions throughout the process and they responded and got the job done.  I replaced a furnace, AC, ducts, and water heater.  It was a big job and they did it all in one day.  Everyone (and there were a lot of workers) was friendly, courteous, and were doing their best to make me happy.

Our outside refrigerator and electrical outlet blew. The hard part was that the refrigerator sits up two feet from the floor. Flores Electric came and fixed the part. He even ran to Ace Hardware while my husband and son in law balanced the refrigerator on two ammo cases...true story! Great team work made it possible to have our electrical fixed under 1 hour. Great flexibility and got us out of a difficult situation with a great experience. When the going gets tough, the tough get going.  I would highly recommend this company.

We hired Dave to do some electrical work on a wall where we wanted to put up a TV. He was very professional, came out right away, assessed the job and was very prompt with finishing it. We had him come out one other time to take a look at our electrical box which he tells us probably needs to be replaced. We appreciate that he didn't just try to make us do it now since it's not an urgent problem. Other electricians just want to make money and would try to sell you on something even if it's not totally necessary. Dave is friendly as well, always returns phone calls promptly and is a pleasure to work with.

These guys are great!  My electrical box overloaded and blew out the main circuit breaker to the house on a Sunday night.  These guys came out at 10pm on Sunday night and got me up and running!  They replaced my electrical box, installed a second meter for my duplex, and grounded all of the electrical outlets in my house.  They were friendly, professional, fast, and mostly importantly, they did a great job.  They also cleaned up and made sure to put any moved furniture back in its original location.  I would definitely use them again!

Highly professional from the start. Josh came on time to give the original estimate. He took time to explain our options and to explain the proposed work and how it would be done. We were having a new 240 volt 50 amp outside outlet installed to accomodate a Level 2 charger for a new electric car. Later we added a 120 volt outlet alongside, to the original estimate, for some added convenience. Written estimate was sent by email later the same day. Jesse and Milena came on time to do the work. I could tell by just seeing how Jesse laid out his tools and supplies to do the work that they were highly organized. The work was done without any surprises or difficulties. Very pleased with the overall results. I would not hesitate to recommend AOE.

Greg responded to my initial text immediately, and gave me an extremely reasonable price to replace and hang a light fixture on a vaulted ceiling.  Other service providers were priced much higher.  Greg was able to set up an appointment within the week.  He came with another associate (Jared), and they were both able to get the light installed quickly and without any problems.  Very professional, knowledgeable, and customer focused as they met my wife's specific request at the height that she wanted the light hung.

Greg (the business owner) is a great find, if you need electrical work performed.  You won't be sorry.

I had a doorbell wiring issue and Ro gave me a fair quote and came by on time with Sergei and fixed plus also replaced the transformer. They were courteous and polite and eager to help, so gave them additional work to install some lights in the backyard. I would call Ro again!!

We needed some can lights installed, a dedicated circuit and some cable pulled. We finally settled on Mark to do the work.

Mark showed up about 1 minute before the appointment and he was ready to go! He works clean, fast and constantly to get it done. We couldn't be happier with the service he provided.

Wow, Jesse is awesome! He has been working with us on our home we have in Gilroy for over a month now, he wired up new electrical on everything ( home is old so everything had to be replaced pretty much), but he's gone ABOVE and BEYOND what we asked and what we had hoped he would do. He is very knowledgeable about other contractors in the area, and really knows his stuff as a licensed electrician. He installed new lights and fans in our bathrooms, 4 rooms and downstairs, in the kitchen, dining, living room and front areas. He also did the outside lights, and laundry room...and much much more.

We are very grateful to have found Jesse! It is rare to find someone that is very honest and does quality work, without overcharging.  When we had an issue with one of the people we were working with, Jesse stepped in to help us ( when he didn't have to) and it is easy to see he is just an all around great person. He puts in his own time and money to ensure his work is quality and even helped out the people who didn't do their work to his standards. He sets his bar high, and if others fail to meet it then he will do it what it takes to make sure that everything is done correctly.  

On a side note, he is dependable and reasonably priced. He takes pride in his work, and what he puts into a home. He is great with kids, and always is cheerful and kind to our son. He also was very helpful with communicating with other people, and acted as a mediator/liaison for us if there were any issues that arose. He also gave very helpful suggestions and tips! Had contacted Cozy House (Ivan) and he responded right away. We setup an onsite visit to have a NEMA 14-50 outlet for my new EV car and also needed a regular 120v outdoor outlet added for our backyard. Not only was Ivan super friendly and knowledgeable he installed both outlets quick and super clean looking with attention to detail. I highly would recommend Ivan for any electrical needs. We will be using Cozy House for other projects we have planned.
