We had some some electrical work done for our jetted bathtub. Great experience!! Took the time to cover and make sure all of my floors and belongings were protected from any construction dust/dirt as if it were their own. He was fast but the quality of work was superior.

Incredibly nice, professional, and knowledgeable. This was the first electrician we had out for some odd-ball problems and he was able to explain the issues and troubleshooting steps in a very clear way without being condescending. Made sure to listen to understand what our goals were and made sure the job went well. 100% appreciated the work and the price beat the other quotes we could find in the area. I will definitely call back when the next issue pops up around the house down the line.

We contracted with Akenson Electric after a neighbor used them for a new electrical panel and the work they did looked excellent.  We had Bryan come out and put in a new 200 amp panel for us.  Bryan took care of the necessary permits with the city and with SDG&E.  The job went smooth and turned out great.  It is so nice having a panel that is recessed into the stucco like the original panels not just screwed to the outside.  I was looking at another house down the street and the electrical mast is crooked, the connectors on the box are wrong and the grounds are undersized.  I have to laugh every time I see it.  Do you really want to take that chance with 200 amps or more?   You won't have those issues with Bryan he does quality work and also does a lot of commercial work.

Shane Baumel is a true professional.  Very punctual - arrived at 8 am as agreed and provided advice on moving my convenience outlets because of a new patio sliding door installation.  Troubleshooted the electrical for a few minutes and guided me to the right solution.  High recommended!  
P.S. Baumel Electric is here in Long Beach where I am and will keep their business card handy for future needs.

We contacted Rideout Electric to add a 240 line for a kitchen induction cooktop, and add an outlet in our pantry.  The work was scheduled, and David and Kevin arrived at exactly the scheduled time. They were friendly and efficient, and completed the work in a timely manner. We highly recommend Rideout Electric!

An honest, hard-working, personable, on-time contractor!  I've been working with Maurice for 15 years on various personal residences and several rentals!  He's always there when he says he's going to be there, he quotes a fair price and stays on the budget he quoted, and if he can't do the job, it probably can't be done!

These guys were wonderful.  They completed taking down an old chandelier snd added a new one. They were very punctual and completed everything in one hour. Highly recommended and I would not hesitate to have them return.

Tyler came right out and put in a dedicated circuit for our freezer in the garage. He did an excellent job for a fair price. Our son found him on Yelp.  We will use Tyler for now on as our electrician. You won't go wrong hiring Tyler. He is very efficient.

Got the part ordered to set up my dishwasher. Showed up on time and got it installed no probs. Very sweet guy. Stuck around to make sure it was draining properly and all was well. Will use again.

i used todd to install a new circuit board, a few new circuits and wiring at home last year, he is fantastic, reasonable and very professional. Everything was done on time and in a very organized manner. Very impressed with them.

This company does excellent work and is very professional . We had them do the installation so we can charge our new Tesla X and our Porsche Taycan. Rudy,  not sure if he's the owner or manager, was very professional, fast, and a pleasure to work with. We got quoted on Thursday night and by Friday morning, the work was completed and now I can charge my vehicles. The other companies I called were quoting two weeks out. I am so happy there were willing to come out and do the work right away. The rest of the staff is excellent and nice.

Great service and communication from Justin. I sent an inquiry late last night about getting some outlets added to the outside of our home and he replied right away with a quote and confirmed an appointment for the following morning. Super professional worker, work was done as requested, and easy to deal with!

Posted a pic of a hole in my ceiling that needed a patch repair. Larger hole than I wanted to deal with. Response was quick, he happened to be close and came and did the work within an hour after my post/request. Perfect drywall patch repair job well done.

Had electrical issue in a rental. Called Brizzi Electric. They were very responsive. Took care of the problem at a resonable price. I would highly recommend them and if I have any future issues, they would be my first choice.

Bryan and his partner came in to our business and helped us fix a few lights that had quit working on us. They did a GREAT job getting them working again and they were both so kind and courteous and didn't disrupt business as it happened. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a electrician in this area!

I have used Mickey for 3 fixes: two ceiling fans and a flat screen TV electrical box install.  He has done excellent work, stuck to his initial estimate (even though the job proved harder and took longer than anticipated), and is very friendly.  He talked me through all of the options for each job.  He cleaned up and put everything back the way it was before the work was done.  I will hire him again and would be happy to recommend him to a friend.

Found this company on next door and explained I wanted about 7 bulbs replaced. The bathrooms have these hard to replace bulbs that are very high otherwise we would do it ourselves. I explained all this in detailed texts and whoever responded assumed the electrical was bad and said it wasn't worth the hassle and suggested we perform electrical work. I advised I think he misunderstood as these homes were only 6 years old and all the LED bulbs were burning out. Thought the response was rude and presumptive. Anyone know a good handyman in south OC area?

Truly should have gone through some of these reviews. The ones that give an honest not so great experience are given pretty bluntly aggressive attacks by the owner ... which I can relate to my experience and I was simply inquiring...prices had not even been addressed yet.

@Rob .. obviously I wasn't a customer. Read the text, lol. You or whomever refused to replace 7 bulbs stating the electrical was bad. I had even explained I already replaced two but the others were too high. Who would have been satisfied at this response? Literally who? You could have just politely said you were not interested .. absolutely acceptable, but instead you were rude and presumptive.

Yelpers, please note the passive aggressiveness in business owner's response. I am stating facts and this is how he speaks to potential clients. Every review less than 4-5 stars seems to receive bullying.

That's the worst part about relocating. You have to start all over in trying to establish relationships with good companies - so hard to find. We had the best electrician and plumber back in TX.

Side note..whenever I see a lot of yelp reviews with little to no profile, friends, or other reviews you can't help but wonder if they are legit.
