Best Electricians in California

I was referred to OZ by a neighbor who had nothing but great things to say. I'm echoing those sentiments. Richard, the owner, came out on the same day as I called and gave me a competitive estimate. He is communicative and approachable.
I'm putting in PV solar, so he had to coordinate with my solar installer. I listened to one conversation and it was clear they spoke the same (technical) language. This was the company to choose.
On the day they did the install the crew, Roberto and Xavier including Richard, all rolled up to my house at the same time & on time!
They got to work right away. Eight hours later the place was cleaned up and my service panel was upgraded to 300 amps.
The install is clean, level, and caulked. Breakers are labeled and in the same locations as before. The job was done with apparent pride in workmanship. Richard called me about an hour before they were done with an accurate update of their progress. I highly recommend.

Incredibly nice, professional, and knowledgeable. This was the first electrician we had out for some odd-ball problems and he was able to explain the issues and troubleshooting steps in a very clear way without being condescending. Made sure to listen to understand what our goals were and made sure the job went well. 100% appreciated the work and the price beat the other quotes we could find in the area. I will definitely call back when the next issue pops up around the house down the line.

They are the BEST!!! We had a huge electrical job to be done on our 1946 home so we could install A/C. They were on time everyday, very personable and professional, cleaned up the site each day, and did an amazing installation on a difficult and very involved job. They passed all the inspections and had everything set up ahead for SDG&E and the A/C installers. Even came back while both companies were here to make sure everything was ok. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Baumel Brothers handled the rewiring of our house/panel upgrade. Impeccable service, they responded extremely quickly to our request for quote. Will be calling them for any future electrical needs!

This asshole showed up, entered a gate and began to work. Didn't know and say he was here. When my dog backed, he proceeded to THROW ROCKS at him. I'm livid. I wish I could leave 0 stars

An honest, hard-working, personable, on-time contractor!  I've been working with Maurice for 15 years on various personal residences and several rentals!  He's always there when he says he's going to be there, he quotes a fair price and stays on the budget he quoted, and if he can't do the job, it probably can't be done!

Courteous and professional, SuengLEE Electric was on time, and provided a free estimate which many technicians do not offer. All in all, highly recommended!

JPS Electrical Solutions is one of the best sub contractors that I have ever dealt with.  They showed up early and began their due diligence to locate the problem.  They very quickly isolated the issue and fixed it within 15 minutes.  I felt like their approach to solving the issue was very thorough and timely.  I had called Powers Electrical out to look at the same problem the day before and found them to be rip off artist.  Without even doing any real due diligence they tried to quote me a price of $2,850.00 that was completely out of line for the repair. JPS solutions price was greater than a $2,000.00 savings.
Thanks to Josh and Pete for their timely repair and treating me like a customer should be treated.  I would highly recommend JPS Electric.

We recently moved in to a house that had several non-functioning outlets, and one whole side of the house randomly lost power. After my husband Chase obtained several different quotes from electricians in the area, we determined Tyler had the most reasonable price per hour and was able to visit our house sooner than the other electricians. He not only fixed the broken outlets, but got up into our attic and figured out what was miswired throughout the house. When he ran to Home Depot to grab a new breaker that was needed, he didn't upcharge us at all and only added the exact cost of the part that was purchased. Lastly, he installed some new light fixtures that we had purchased but hadn't gotten around to setting up. All of this only took 3 hours to complete and the price he charged was excellent for the amount of work that was done. Call TMS the next time you need help getting the lights back on!

Had Andrew come out to connect my gate to the electrical panel. He was able to get it done quickly and was very friendly/helpful while doing it. Would definitely recommend using him for your electrical needs.

Two parts to this review:
I had an installation done with Faraday in March of 2021 and they gave me a competitive estimate, had the guys out as scheduled and were done in two hours, and payment completed as discussed. For installation 5/5 stars.

I attempted to reach out to them several months later for city permitting, and reached out in October 2021 to Albert for permitting to be done by Faraday. He took over a month to get back to me and said Faraday could handle this, and quoted a competitive price in November 2021.

I emailed several times for follow up and got no email response.

I called and left a message without response, then called an additional two times and was told I'd get a call back. I understand it's the holidays and these things take time. But I never got a call back.

Frustrated I reached out again at the end of December and spoke with Ivan who said I'd get a call back regarding my permit application by 1/5/2022. That date passed so I called again on 1/7/2022. I was able to speak with Kelvin who let me know my permit is now in processing.

I understand that they have a lot of customers and I'm glad they have a lot of business especially during COVID, but it has taken a lot on my end to follow-up this permit application. I don't mind waiting but after a great installation experience I expected much better communication from Faraday.

Justin, from Always Quality Electrical, does great work!! He has helped me with several projects at work (UCSD) and at home.  Justin is very professional, clean, punctual and good at solving complicated issues.  I would suggest hiring him for any electrical need.

I had a great experience with George. I had an issue and he came out the same day even though he was really busy. He worked fast, was really nice and knowledgeable and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend him!

Excellent service. I had a complex issue that was quickly diagnosed as a bad receptacle. Highly experienced electrician. Will definetely use as my go to guy when i have a problem

Bryan and his guy Mike did a great job. They actually were able to knock out and take care of all the electrical issues we were having in a matter of 3 hours. I highly recommend them! These guys were working on our house in the pouring rain.

I've used Mickey to update my electrical panel and did a great job last time. So I called him again so he can install 3 fans which required electrical wiring on all three rooms. I have to say he did a good job, except for some wiring that looks very sloppy that's outside of my home. I told him about this issue as this could be a red flag if an inspector were to come by my home, or if I need to refinance, the appraiser would definitely note this as a hazard. He said he would fix it, brought a crappy piece of tube that he said he was going to use, but never came back to fix it. This is after I paid him too. He said this was going to be extra and I understand, sometimes you cant project how much the job will cost and I acknowledged that I would pay him extra for this since it was important to me. But never heard back from him... I have to give him 2 stars for this for lack of not completing the job.

My closet can light went out, so Rob sent out  Alfonso that same morning, and easily replaced it....very efficient, fair pricing, knowledgable!
I highly recommend!
