Best Electricians in California

Opted for Eco-Tech after finding them on Tesla's list of recommended electricians and the others that I reached out to either didn't respond or refused to come out in the afternoon.

Anthony answered when I called *on a Saturday* (!) and was happy to help me book an appointment the following Wednesday afternoon, despite that it was a bit late in the day for him.

He arrived and was super friendly and an obvious professional. He went through all the options about how/where we could install a NEMA 14-50 outlet (for Tesla charging), then he went straight to it.

He did an excellent job and cleaned everything up both where the outlet was installed and inside the circuit breaker box, then made sure the car was charging properly before heading out.

Next he'll deal with the permit and making an appointment with a city inspector so we can get sign-off, at which point we'll finally pay for all the work.

Paul helped us update our old electrical panel and add some new breakers. Excellent work, always responds quickly with my many questions, Paul puts you at ease with his knowledge and friendliness too. They came on time and got the job done when they said it would be done. Very professional, I would highly recommend Apex to anyone and I have already!! I will be using Apex for all of our electrical needs in the future. Thank you for a great job! Right from the first call, Berk's were responsive, happy to help, and went out of their way to send someone out as soon as possible. The electrician came today, found the problem, discovered a fire hazard in the process and fixed that too. They were also very fairly priced. We will definitely call them again!

Ismar has completed several projects for us, including a service panel upgrade, grounding outlets, running cables, and installing fans. He's an honest professional that takes his job very seriously. I really appreciate how thorough and clean his work is. He tackles difficult jobs with confidence and doesn't take shortcuts!

A kitchen zone of my electric went out. Granted, my house is old and had substantial wiring issues that needed to be addressed.  Declan came out on short notice, opened up a box that had been jury rigged by someone long ago.  He then acted irritated at my house, saying he didn't want to bid on the project, almost acting like it was not fixable without tearing the house down. This is of course his prerogative to not want to do a job. However I found someone after that too not only fix this problem area, but rewire the whole house for me, and adding a new subpanel at a reasonable price.  Declan was kind enough to not charge me the full two hours, just one, however he fixed nothing and just left me with a hole in the wall.  From my personal experience, if you have a job that is substantial, you may want to call someone else, or see if he will give an estimate before committing any money in case he doesn't feel like taking the job.  I see he has a couple good reviews here, so for simpler jobs perhaps he is a good choice, I wouldn't know.  Summary:
The good:
Came out short notice, was here over an hour but charged for 1 hour, did diagnose the bad neutral correctly.
The bad:
Fixed nothing, left a hole in the wall, was unwilling to propose a solution or bid on the project, made me feel like my house was garbage, and still charged me.

Mc FAIL . To call you back that is.  Had 2 houses that needed service.  Called. No answer.  Left message no call back.  Should have not waited for Mc FAIL. Now the tenants are angry and frustrated!

Ismail is the man!!!!   He installed my Nemo 14-50 outlet outside of my house for my ev level 2 charger.  He was very knowledgeable and customized the outlet and even gave me a locking waterproof outlet box.  Even though that was more costly he honored the negotiated price which shows lot about his character.   He does very clean work and overbuilds. He even gave me 60amp breaker so I can use it to use a supercharger later If it needs to be.

I have engaged four different electricians in two years.  Steven has been such a good contractor that giving him five stars is actually selling him short.  He is fair, creative, and instructional.  He will listen to what you want, make suggestions that actually might be better, and inform you of problems you may encounter in the project that you may not have thought of.  He personally uses most of the products he installs, meaning he installs different types of fixtures and bulbs around his house to test to see how long they last, and then recommends what you need based on what he has learned.  He is the most honest contractor that I have ever encountered, actually refunding you if he over estimated labor and material costs.  If you want to trust someone to give you the quality you want with the result you desire, Steven and his company will be the last electrical company you ever call for all of your needs.  I even hesitate to share my experience because his skills have come into such high demand; he sometimes has to turn down jobs because he is too booked up.  I keep calling him because his attention to detail and follow through is such rare attributes to find in the contracting business.  Best electrical contractor in the San Diego area by far.

I had multiple sections in my house that were not getting electricity. I couldn't run certain things at the same time. I was worried that it was going to be a very major fix. Two really nice guys from OC Electric came out. They reassured me that they would take good care of me and find the problem. They did exactly that. There were a few problems and they took care of everything, quickly and efficiently. They were so knowledgeable and nice I can't recommend them highly enough. A++
