You know that scene in Duplicity where Michael Keaton is explaining that a copy of a copy is just a little off? Well it's true. I needed to make a copy of my key, but I only had a copy of a copy of a copy. Not knowing of any locksmiths in my area I came across Pop-A-Lock on Yelp. Bill, the owner, answered my call and came out within the hour to rekey my house. He did a great job and didn't leave a mess. I give Pop-A-Lock an A+++.

Jeff came out to re-key the locks on my new house.  This included some locks that I did have the key to and some that I did not.  Jeff showed up promptly at the beginning of the service window and was able to quickly and efficiently re-key all the locks (all 8 of them) and provide me with a new set of keys.  He even took things a step further and ensured all locks were properly lubricated and functioning properly.  It turns out some of the locks had not been re-keyed ever, so I'm sure this minor bit of maintenance was sorely needed.  After the work was done, all the locks worked perfectly.

He quote about $75 the hour. I ended paying $375 for two hours. I asked for a invoice disclosure. So that I place a claim on my insurance. And I still waiting

They have always been professional and are quick at what they do. They've previously cut a spare for my Harley Sportster. Today they cut some OEM style Toyota keys for my FJ Cruiser that I had bought online with the immobilizer chip. They explained how I may need two originals to program the new keys but it was not needed. I did it with only one and the new keys are working! They do great work! My boyfriend had lost his car key over the weekend and needed to get a replacement key ASAP.  I found West Valley Lock and Key over Yelp and they were quick and efficient.  Bo came out to the house within 30 minutes and was upfront about the price before he made the duplicate.  Even after finding out that his car has an immobilizer and would be difficult to duplicate, they were still able to do it within 45 minutes.  I highly recommend them!

I found United Lock Service from Home Advisor.  I was contacted by 3 lock smith companies (all licensed and bonded) and United Lock Service was the best price by far.  One of the other guys even tried to imply that the pricing offered was because United Lock was not licensed.  Not true; I confirmed before using them.  Nathan was scheduled to arrive at 8 a.m.  He was prompt and professional.  His pricing was the same as quoted.  No bait and switch.  I hope to not need lock smith service again any time soon, but when I do, I'm contacting Nathan with United Lock.

I had a new style door lock on my bathroom door. Somehow the door was locked when it shut. Usually I use a bobby pin to unlock it door but this lock didnt want to unlock. I called Scottsdale Locksmithing. Within 40 minutes of when the call was placed the guy was here. I wish they told me the price upfront because it was $120, just to pop open the door. I know they probably couldnt say because they had to see what was entailed.

The guy was very nice and wore black Jean's and a tee shirt. He didnt have a mask on which I didnt like. He got the door open in less than 3 minutes.

Overall, the guy knew what he was doing. They were a little expensive and he didnt have a mask but I would hire them again.
