My 2004 Lexus IS300 key broke off and I needed a replacement and a spare.  Called up and explained the situation and Mordy drove out to make the keys within a couple hours.    He brought the parts, cut the keys and programmed them to the car.   He did and awsome job.  Friendly, funny, and knowledgable.  

I also asked him to make a spare key for my wife's 2004 4Runner.  He was able to do it and program it in about 10-15 minutes so my wife could leave on her errands.   Awsome.

I needed my rental property rekeyed and made an appointment with West Valley Lock and Key. A lot of other companies give you a 4-6 hour window and still show up late (in my experience!) so I was very happy to get a one hour window. The tech was a little late but the company was very responsive when I called to find out when he would arrive and I was told he was wrapping up another job. He called me immediately after to give me his ETA and was very apologetic for being late.  No biggie, like I said, most locksmiths I've used have been a lot less accommodating for appointment windows and on top of that, this place is much more affordable. Their trip charge was significantly lower than other quotes I got and the other fees were very reasonable as well. The tech was very professional when he arrived and super quick!  They offer a discount for return customers as well. I need a locksmith at least once a year and this will now be my company of choice!

They were here really quick, super friendly, and very professional. They offered me many solutions and priced quick service.

They answered the phone on a day when most other locksmiths are closed. They gave me a quick quote and showed up to my vehicle I n less than 10 mins - crazy fast. My locksmith (Ari) took care with my vehicle and had it open in about three minutes. Very friendly and great service. Great job, Ari. I even used the Yelp deal to get $20 off. Not sure what else you can ask for in a locksmith!

Mordy did an EXCEPTIONAL job fixing our locks and rekeying everything. He was very personable and made us feel comfortable which was important to me to know that the person redoing our keys is honest and genuine. He spent the time to show me what he was doing and fixed our screen door that wouldn't close all the way. I HIGHLY recommend Mordy!

Drove all the way from San Diego to move out some final things in my old apartment from Glendale, AZ. Half way through the drive I realized I forgot my apartment key.. Morty was amazing and got us into my apartment in ONE minute. He was able to replicate my exact key so I didn't need a new knob and key. He was very patient the whole time as well!! This is a very undesirable circumstance and I'm so happy I called them for help, all in less than 10 minutes!

Friendly service and quick response on a Sunday would recommend to all friends and family if they lock them selves out of their hours or car

If I could write a negative star review I would. An individual for this company came out to get keys from the trunk of a car. I was out of town and the person who locked them in called. The tech attempted to enter the vehicle through the trunk which created a slight bend which was no big deal I was able to bend it back into place. The problem was they also attempted to use the manual release which was know to be broken. They disassembled the switch opens the trunk and reassembled the switch which now works to open the trunk. The problem,is the trunk and gas release are connected so I can no longer release the gas cover to fill the car and there is no manual release in the trunk.

I called to report the issue and spoke to the most rude individual I have ever spoken with. I told him what had happened and he told me I wasn't even making sense. He asked how the manual trunk release had anything to do with the ability to get gas in the car. I tried to explain to him that the switches are connected push down to release the gas lid and pull up to release the trunk.  

For approximately 10 minutes he berated me and placed the blame on me. He told me it was a Sunday evening and asked what I expected he asked if I expected "special ops and black forces" called out to fix the problem (keep in mind they are listed as a 24/7 service). I explained that it is a major problem that I can not get gas in the car and would like to find a time to get it fixed. He continued to berate me and told me I was "talking out my ass" when that occurred I asked if he was the owner and he said no he was the dispatcher. I asked for an owner or managers name at which point he asked if "I wanted to talk to the governor?"

I continued to press for owner or manager information at which point he hung up on me.

They may have done some great work for others but if you have a problem I hope you receive help as opposed to being blamed, berated, cussed at and hung up on.

Closed escrow on our new house and wanted to have all the locks rekeyed ASAP. I looked on Yelp and came across West Valley Lock & Key. I decided to give them a try based on all the five-star reviews. Was not disappointed.
Called on a Sunday night- call was answered right away and I was able to get an appointment the next day. Great start.  I received a call on Monday morning confirming Bo was on the way. Thirteen rekeyed cylinders later and I'm a happy customer.  The locks work smoothly and the keys (master and copies all work perfectly).  Reasonable price. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will be using them again.

Not good at all. The guy didn't give a flat price over the phone. Quoted me anywhere from $50 to over a hundred. I told him that other locksmiths charge flat rates of $85 or up to $95. Then he said he won't charge me over $140 and then later lowered it to below $100. He said the reason for this because it depends on the lock and the difficulty of it. When he got to my place he said he would charge me $90 okay fair enough. Then tells me how he normally doesn't quote a price over the phone because that way when he gets there the customer wouldn't want to turn him away when he's there. He said that he normally charges $200 when he gets there which is insane to not tell this to someone over the phone before he gets there. Anyway he came and literally tried to lock pick my door knob for 40 min. Couldn't open it so he tried to lock pick the front door. He couldn't do it either and told me that he would have to drill it and take out the whole door knob. Um no thanks! Wasted our time. I told him we have found someone who can do it. He told us that someone else won't be able to get it open either. I didn't believe him. The dude wanted $45 for the service fee anyway and I only had $44 cash on me which he was fine with and accepted. It was a dollar off and this was probably the only positive thing from it all. Thankfully the other legitimate lock smith who came to unlock my door was able to cover the service fee which seriously helped us a lot.

I find it funny that two other legitimate locksmiths including the one who came after this one left were able to open that exact same doorknob within minutes and their services are under $90. This dude would normally want to charge $200 and he couldn't even open my lock when it literally takes minutes to open by the other legitimate locksmiths.

My sec call was to west valley lock and key and they gave me a real price over the phone a technician came down with in 20 mins they were very professional and got the job done. like I said I would definitely recommend them, easy to deal with.

West valley was the only locksmith that answered their phone, was available and called me back.   They said they'd be here in 30 minutes and they were. I really felt stranded. It took him like 2 minutes to get my door open. Fast and friendly service. I'd use them again

What a great job!  They were able to come out right away and on time. They also had to customize three of our new locks but you can never tell. I would highly recommend them for all of your locksmith needs.

If I could do a zero review I would 29.95 service call is fine but then get Here and say yes I can help u it will take just a couple minutes to pick the lock and please sign  here it will 145.00 plus the service call . We said your crazy and asked him to leave . Who charges 145.00 for maximum of 10-15 minute job . I was told there would be a labor charge but really that amount is way out of line highly do not recommend

Had an old lock in an outside security door which the key broke off and jammed in the lock.  West Valley was prompt, professional, and thorough in replacing the broken cylinder and took the time to clean and lubricate a similar lock on another door.

These guys were great. Second place I called, the first was closer to me. They got my door open before the first place could even call me back.

I had lost my keys for the lock on my storage and not only was the price fair but boaz had my lock off very quickly . I will only use and refer him from now on . Thanks !

Bo came to our office to replace a lock for our company. He arrived with an hour as promised, let me know the price before he got started, finished in about 15 minutes, and most importantly we don't have a key getting stuck in lock anymore. It actually works better than the old lock did when before it broke. Very painless from start to finish. Thanks!

I can't say enough about these guys! I was devastated that we locked ourselves out of our place last night. They gave us a time and showed up when they said they were going to. Ben and his trainee  were honest, reliable, so nice and found the best and most cost effective options for us. We are so grateful for them and would call them any time!

I called for them to change my home  locks  in a hurry and Bo was  here in 45 minutes.  He seems professional and  communicates  well to my questions and needs. I am very grateful to  them. I had a horrible night and lost my car keys still no where to be found. I lost hope after a couple days, so I had to contact a locksmith. My first time ever having to deal with this type of situation, but Bo saved my life! He came instantly and resolved my car troubles quickly and efficiently. My boyfriend had lost his car key over the weekend and needed to get a replacement key ASAP.  I found West Valley Lock and Key over Yelp and they were quick and efficient.  Bo came out to the house within 30 minutes and was upfront about the price before he made the duplicate.  Even after finding out that his car has an immobilizer and would be difficult to duplicate, they were still able to do it within 45 minutes.  I highly recommend them!

As a Realtor being able to have other agents access my listings is of upmost importance,  so when I was told a fellow Realtor had taken or lost the key to my listing it was imparitive I get a replacement immediately to keep the showings active. I called and Bo answered,  I described the situation and he told me he would call me back as soon as he was on his way. In a short period of time he called back and said he would be there in 20 minutes.  Less than 20 minutes he was pulling up. Great guy, very friendly and efficient. He got the door open and made extra keys. Let's sell this now!

I have a ford focus and had problems turning on the ignition. I went on Yelp and found West Valley Lock and Key, and 30 minutes later the locksmith, Boaz, was here. He fixed my ignition quickly and was very courteous. I highly recommend this company.
