Victor was very professional and extremely responsive (responded to my texts on the weekend and gave me a call while I was at Home Depot picking out locks). His prices were roughly what others were quoting, but he is well-spoken, knowledgeable and friendly so I went with him. I would recommend him and will use him again in the future if needed.

Brian from Pop-a-lock was super helpful and very timely. I called for a stubborn door and lock to make it fire hazard safe and he came thru.

Scheduled us as early as he could and quickly adjusted/fixed our door and lock.

Jeff earns his 5 star review. He is the example of professionalism. I called on Wednesday. He was more than willing to come out that same day. But I made an appointment for Thursday. He was on time and called before coming over. He also told me how much it was going to be before he even came out.

Great company! I love that they are family owned, have a store front, and the staff are warm and very competent. I've only been there twice, but I've been very impressed.

I sent several quotes and used Yelp for help with my truck and almost everyone that answered said my town was too far (even though they had my town as part of their area of service.  JJ answers my quote and although he was over 60 miles one way, he said he would come and help me.  He made several stops along the way for equipment and by the time he left, I was in my vehicle and keys made.  He was very professional and although I know he is in this business to make money, he did not flinch of driving 120 miles round trip to not only help someone, but he gained a future customer.  Thank you...

There is a reason why Todd has such a great rating on Yelp!  I recently locked my keys in my car on my way to school. My husband found Alcatraz and told me to call. Todd was very quick, kind, helpful, and funny. I felt foolish and was worried I'd miss class. He put me at ease and handled everything so efficiently that I ended up only being a few minutes late. On top of that, he made me a spare key at no extra charge and gave me great information about getting a new fob programmed in the future. No one hopes to need a locksmith regularly, but if I ever need one again, I won't hesitate to give Todd more business.

Moved into a new place that has central mail boxes and didnt have a key to it, Julian was fast to reply and came out same day!  Very courteous and great customer service!

We've used The Lock Shop twice for rekeying and deadbolt replacement and had overall positive experiences. The techs are very friendly. There was confusion with one of the techs this last visit and Kathy, office manager, was super helpful  and took care of us. We will definitely call them next time with any lock needs with either of our houses.

Requested service around 8am;  and had everything completed by 10:30am

New to the valley and in my first home. I called to have the locks replaced. Instead of just going with what I asked for and collecting a bigger payment they suggested having the existing locks rekeyed. The outcome will be the same (locks that only I have the keys for) but by using the existing hardware I saved money. Also I called at 4pm thinking that it would take a few days for an appointment but 40 minutes later they were here working on it. Prices were better than I had heard from other locksmiths. Overall a perfect stress free experience that I could not be happier about. Thank you!!

Been taking my locks and keys here for decades. The gal that usually does my work is a genius! Need keys or locks keyed? These guys are great.

If I could write a negative star review I would. An individual for this company came out to get keys from the trunk of a car. I was out of town and the person who locked them in called. The tech attempted to enter the vehicle through the trunk which created a slight bend which was no big deal I was able to bend it back into place. The problem was they also attempted to use the manual release which was know to be broken. They disassembled the switch opens the trunk and reassembled the switch which now works to open the trunk. The problem,is the trunk and gas release are connected so I can no longer release the gas cover to fill the car and there is no manual release in the trunk.

I called to report the issue and spoke to the most rude individual I have ever spoken with. I told him what had happened and he told me I wasn't even making sense. He asked how the manual trunk release had anything to do with the ability to get gas in the car. I tried to explain to him that the switches are connected push down to release the gas lid and pull up to release the trunk.  

For approximately 10 minutes he berated me and placed the blame on me. He told me it was a Sunday evening and asked what I expected he asked if I expected "special ops and black forces" called out to fix the problem (keep in mind they are listed as a 24/7 service). I explained that it is a major problem that I can not get gas in the car and would like to find a time to get it fixed. He continued to berate me and told me I was "talking out my ass" when that occurred I asked if he was the owner and he said no he was the dispatcher. I asked for an owner or managers name at which point he asked if "I wanted to talk to the governor?"

I continued to press for owner or manager information at which point he hung up on me.

They may have done some great work for others but if you have a problem I hope you receive help as opposed to being blamed, berated, cussed at and hung up on.

Called to have a broken house lock replaced, and Nathan arrived in less than 20 minutes. He was friendly and articulate. The lock cylinder was replaced and keyed to match another door lock. Work was done within 10-15 minutes, and a printed receipt provided. Cost was $75, but think they have Angie's list coupon as noted by another reviewer. Speedy and competent service, just what I was hoping for!

The team was quick to respond to my request for a quote. They arrived within 30 min of my first message. Very kind, courteous, and helpful! I was able to get into my unit.
