Ian just completed a big project to repower our boat dock.  It had a variety of moving parts and took lots of planning.  We are really happy with the work and he is a pleasure to work with.  Ian has also worked on upgrades to our house interior and the work is always excellent.

I actually didn't use B&G Property management and Electrical, however, wanted to leave a review as they did help me.  As context, I had an electrical issue happen which required addressing.  I reach out to numerous electricians; however, all were booked aways out.  Through the process of telling B&G what the issue was (and getting a quote for service), they provided some troubleshooting advice based on the information I gave them.  I am happy to say that their advice worked - which saved me (likely) hundreds in fees (regardless of who I chose).  I am appreciative of their proactive consult and their willingness to help so would defintely call on them again.

This isn't where you meant to go. You didn't realize at the time that it really was just the warehouse and will-call desk. But now that you've arrived, go look at the surplus tables. Also, while getting back into our car, take a moment to marvel at all of the nooks and crannies in Sodo. I mean that IS why you went to the wrong place, after all.

As a home owner for the past 25 years (with 5 houses over that time), I have had some electrical issues and this firm is outstanding.

Staff showed up and looked at the job. They quoted a price and said they could start right away.  The price was within a couple of hundred dollars of a previous quote received over a year ago.  So, I said yes.  They went off to get the appropriate supplies. It took then less than an hour to install a dedicated outlet. The indoor area was cleaned nicely.  The garage area was less tidy in the cleanup but nothing outrageous.  The two employees were friendly, polite, and quick workers.

TLDR/ Service: Excellent, Work Quality: Superb, Price: Comparable, Verdict: Call Them Now!  Mike Dalton, the owner and master electrician of MAD Energy NW is a real gem. He efficiently diagnosed my various electrical issues and gave me a fair quote for the copious amount of work my 1970's condo needed to be brought into this century. With an attention to detail you don't see often in construction and a level of customer service that astounded me, he blew my expectations out of the water and has made my home look and feel like a whole new place. He walked me through lighting choices, and even gave me the opportunity to provide my own fixtures, if I wanted to. I will call him again for any future electrical needs and I have already recommended him to friends and will continue to do so in the future. If you are looking for a quality electrician who will do a job that will stand the test of time, look no further, Mike and MAD Energy should be your first, and only call. Don't take my word for it, call him now.

Their business card says integrity, honesty and value and yes that is true. I am impressed by Daulot of Fountain Electric. I have a small problem of my electric lawnmower tripping the circuit breaker. I was not sure why this problem was happening because only two years earlier we had a different electrical contractor redo the entire panel and rewiring in the house and spent $20k. So Daulot first wanted to see about the problem outlets in question and whether there was a work around. Finally he considered the cost to fix versus the cost of adding two new dedicated outdoor outlets. I appreciate his thoroughness and looking at options to save me money. His quote was nearly half of cost quoted by large electrical contractors. Five stars.

We had a problem with our furnace where it would suddenly just go off. It would work for months, weeks, etc., but then all of a sudden stop. This happened again this last weekend. We can usually get it started, but this time nothing we could do worked.
I called several companies to come out and Allred was the only one that could get to it fairly quickly. Eric, the technician came out and diagnosed the problem and got it fixed. We are warm again!
Eric was very friendly and competent and the charge for the service was not exorbitant. We will definitely use Allred in the future.
Can't say how VERY pleased we are!

Mercurio's was highly recommended to us by our neighbor.  We met with Steve to discuss several AC options.  He provided us with the documentation required to get the external unit placement approved by our HOA, and followed up with us to ensure we had approval before confirming with the installation team.  The installation team was highly professional, efficient, and left our garage in excellent condition.  After the installation, we discovered the fan was running 24 hours and asked for some assistance in turning off the fan.  Charles came to our house, identified the external timer that was causing the issue in less than a minute, provided to us a quote for an air scrubber that came up during the conversation, and billed us nothing for resolving the fan timer issue.   This team of professionals is the best home improvement service team we have ever experienced!

My new go-to electrical company. We had an electrical problem and were feeling very desperate so I called ANM.  They were super responsive and sent Kevin, a pro, and very personable. Kevin showed up within a couple of hours of my call.  He got the job done quickly and I have their number in my book. This is the company I will call whenever an electrical problem arises.

Good contractor, very professional work. Had an interlock breaker and inlet installed, for a generator. Prices a little high.

Professional, knowledgeable. Team is very skilled and provide high quality work.  Permits submitted when necessary and reasonable turn around times.

The owner Frank Anderson came out to replace an outlet and install a heater, and he was just AWESOME!! He gave me a great deal on the work to be done! He is knowledgeable in what he does.
There was another time I had issues with three of my outlets in which two were GFCI outlets. I tried to get a hold of Frank and Frank answered my call while he was on vacation. We were able to FT and he walked me thru my circuit breaker and helped me to resolve my outlet problems just like that. He saved me money and time from having to call another electrician.
If I could, I would give Power Pros Electric Bothell 10 STARS!! I highly recommend this business!! Thanks again Frank!!

Brad Leff of Expert Electric (West Seattle) is honest, knowledgable, practical, reasonably priced.

I'd hire him again, and I'd recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician.

We just bought a house and we're doing some remodeling and repairing some deficiencies that were found when we had the house inspected. I hired Brad because his expertise was obvious as he thoroughly explained what needed to be done, what could be done, and what could wait, since we were on a budget. Out of all the electricians we talked to he was the only one who looked at our to do list and offered cost saving alternatives. He sees the big picture and thinks of little things like placing tamper resistant outlets. (we have a one year old daughter)

Oh and Jon, who worked with Brad on the project was also great, very good at helping us visualize and decide where we should place our recessed lighting for optimal results.

Great pricing and quality of work. Can't beat how fast they were able to turn around our project!

Absolutely horrible customer service experience. We ordered a fan from them, and once they got the sale from us, nothing was done. I was guaranteed the fan would arrive within 5-7 days, and on business day 10, I called to check in. I got the response, We'll look into it. I never received a call back. This happened a second time with a different employee. The 3rd time I called to check in about our fan, 20 days after we had ordered it, the employee informed me the fan had never been ordered! He assured me it should arrive by Friday and they would call me when it arrived.
On Friday afternoon, after not receiving a phone call, I called the showroom to learn that my fan had been delivered to them. I explained how disappointed I was in their lack of communication and he told me the hours they were open and hung up on me.

Seattle Lighting should be ashamed how they treated me, and their lack of communication and follow up, in this whole experience. They clearly don't take pride in their work or show their customers any respect after they make a sale. I was dismissed by 3 out of 4 employees on the phone, the last of whom hung up on me. I will never shop here again and would recommend you bring your business elsewhere.

Steer clear of this company. I had an estimate for a faucet install, which included replacing the supply lines and valves, and they told me (using their handy book of prices) it would be about $650 (and that's after my $46 coupon). It was similar pricing that another big plumbing company gave me, but that's ridiculously expensive for a job that should only take a couple hours, even with our old plumbing, according to people I've talked to. (We're having a third estimate done today by a retired plumber a friend recommended, and on the phone he quoted us $75/hour plus any necessary parts.)

My bigger gripe about this company in particular is the way the plumber treated me. He didn't take me seriously, he talked down to me (I'm a 20-something female, for the record), and in general was very rude. When I told him the estimate was higher than I expected and asked why, he didn't give me a real answer. He babbled on about overhead and how a cheaper plumber will never be as reputable as they are. He pretty much admitted the job would be easy! When I said I'd talk it over with my husband, he tried to push me into calling him right there and then. I was happy to send them on their way, out the door. I'll never waste my time on these guys again.

EDIT: Just received the estimate from the retired plumber I mentioned, and it's seriously 84% cheaper (a little over $100) than South West Plumbing's estimate.
