Best Heater Installation in Phoenix AZ

My air conditioner was blowing warm air yesterday.  It started around 4:30pm, during the hottest part of the day.  I called Larson first, because they did such a good job designing and installing my duct work two years ago.  I'm very happy to update my previous review with another positive report.   They had someone finishing up another job nearby, so they were able to get him out to my house quickly.

Their technician, Ryan, had been on hot roofs all day, but when he got to my house he was courteous and ready to help.   I was impressed with his knowledge (he definitely knew his stuff!) and his ability to communicate.  He did a *very* thorough job diagnosing my AC issues and when he left, the problem was solved.  

Larson Air Conditioning is my FIRST CALL when I need AC service.  Don't hesitate to call them.  I know they'll take good care of you too!

Well, like many of you I scoured Yelp before I finally settled on American Home Water and Air.  The reviews were just too good not to.  I called and made an appointment.  Then things go awry from there.  Being a diligent personality, I called the day before to confirm the appointment.  What appointment they say.  Are you kidding me?!?!?  I made the appointment w/ my tenant who took the day off to be home.  This was no bueno!  I was in a HUGE bind!  Upset I made it clear that this was unacceptable.  5 minutes later I received a call from the head coordinator.  Apologetic, she told me that they were going to make it right.  They made some adjustments to their schedule and made sure Brad would be out at the time that was originally promised.  Whew!

Fast forward.  Brad arrived at the rental property.  He thoroughly inspected the AC as I requested.  He called me to give a full detailed report about my unit.  He was professional, competent, and very courteous.  Brad also apologized about the inconvenience about the appointment mix-up.  Because of this, he went ahead and cleaned and serviced the unit beyond what the standard AC inspection included.  Really?  Wow!

On top of that, my tenant was pleasantly surprised about the thoroughness Brad exhibited during the AC inspection.  She said it was clear that he knew what he was doing and it was important that he inspected every aspect of the unit thoroughly.

If you are looking for an honest AC company - look no farther!  This company is top notch!  Not only professional and competent they have loads of integrity that nowadays are hard to find in any company.  Thank you AHWA and Brad!  I look forward to continued business w/ you!

Two stars for the friendliness of the tech who came out...other than that?  Needed a sink replaced-I have a garbage disposal and water purification.  I was buying everything-sink/faucets/hardware....just needed someone to take out the old (drop in) and replace with my stuff. $1450.00 estimate...nuff said!
Follow up:  Had another service come out and replace and install AND replace the water valves...$500.  Hays said it would take all day...took three hours. Moving to one star also-why try to rip people off?

It's very refreshing to met a honest AC repair company.  I have used other AC companies in the past due to free or extremely cheap AC system inspection the repairman always turn into salesman. Celeb was straightforward and found part that was starting to weaken but did not pressure to replace it.

I have used Cool Zone for about a year and a half.  They installed a split system (for the previous owners of our home), which I couldn't figure out how to use.  I had another (redacted name company) out to replace a condensate line and to check the split system.  The other company indicated that the split system wasn't working and that they'd need to fix it.  I contacted Cool Zone since I found the split paperwork showing they had installed it and I was hoping it was under warranty.  Dave (owner) came out and showed me how to use the split system (no charge) and that it was working fine.  Since then, we've had them install a two stage system to address an issue with poor cooling of an area of the house, install Ecobee thermostats, do general checks and tune ups, and address a weird leak.  I've got nothing but great things to say about this company.  They are probably not the cheapest in town, but they show up on time, do the work correctly, and don't try to up sell.  Their prices seem about average, and less than (redacted company).  On a personal note, everyone I've interacted with in the company: Dave, Byron, Ryan, and Danette are great people as well.  

Support this local small business.  You will not be disappointed.

My mom's AC/heater was acting up, blowing smoke all up in her home and Dave from Gladiate Air flew in to the rescue!!! Big thanks to Dave's wife for setting up the same day service!!

When Dave arrived and turned the on the heater, the smoke decided not to rear it's dark cloud, but instead, it stopped working. Dave found the problem & fixed the broken wiring in no time and quoted me with a reasonable price! He was very professional and explained everything to me every step of the way. He's an expert in his field and provided excellent service!

Hopefully my mom won't have much more AC/heating issues, but if she does, I trust Dave and Gladiate Air for all of our AC/heating problems! Thank you Dave, you're a life saver!!!

Finally, an AC company you can trust!  After over 30 years in Arizona, this is the first AC company that has been 100% honest.  Thank you Dustin for the service call.  You are the first company I will call if I have any problems with my units or when I need to have a preventative maintenance call.

Bumblebee provided excellent service, they arrived within 2 hours after my service request. The technicians followed the Covid 19  protocols and were very courteous,  friendly, and professional.   I highly recommend their company  and am very grateful to technicians Louis and Leslie who went above and beyond in locating parts to repair the problems encountered with my old furnace. About 11am this morning I noticed my thermostat creeping up and the compressor not sounding right.  Bill from Alan's air just left, now 1500 and all is working fine!  Great price and great, honest service. The old capacitor went out and that caused the compressor to overheat and flip the thermal switch.  Thank you!  Will be recommending you to any and all that need AC repairs.

We recently had one of our surge protectors attached to the outside AC disconnect box catch on fire.  Proskill was able to come out within 2 hours and disconnect both surge protectors that were put on by a prior homeowner and had a recall notice on them.  Whether it is electrical, HVAC or plumbing, they are always prompt and reasonable in pricing. They are always my first call.

Austin Sherman from Sure Temp Air conditioning installed a new thermostat for us today. I can't say enough good words about Austin and Sure Temp. He is very friendly and personable, friendly and took extra time explaining to us what he was doing. We have not had a thermostat like this before so Austin made sure we were comfortable with the programming, etc. We have nothing but high praise for this company and highly recommend them.

Tracy was very prompt and found some issues during a routine HVAC inspection and tune-up on two of my properties recently. Explained what was wrong. The bills were very reasonable. He is my go-to HVAC man for all my properties now.

Had AirTime to check my AC as we head into the summer. I got some very honest info on the status of my system and I really appreciated that. No sales pitch or unnecessary repairs needed. Will call you guy back when it's time for that new AC unit but for now all is good. Thank you!

I called to find out why my goodman AC and furnace weren't cooling my house down. They are listed as a service company on the Goodman site so I called as they were closest.  They said if the unit is under warranty i would have to pay for the labor which was fine.  The guy came, he was friendly and he checked the furnace and the AC unit. He found the capacitor was bad on the ac compressor.  First he told me that the cost of the cap was 280 plus labor. So I asked if it was under warranty what it would cost, he wasn't even going to offer that, and he said it would be 79 plus 30 minutes labor. So he said he had to check with his boss to make sure it was under warranty. It was but then he said he would have to charge me time and travel to get the part and it would be 237.  I'm sorry but because you don't have a part on your truck doesn't mean I have to pay for your lack of planning.   I imagine this item is one commonly replaced and I imagine many goodman units use the exact same capacitor.  So I called him to ask and I told him that I'm not paying for travel as he said on the phone labor, not labor and travel.  He didn't agree so I told I wouldn't pay for a service they weren't prepared to complete under warranty.  If you aren't going to actually do the warranty work, then just say you won't do it.  I could have called one of the 20 other companies on the Goodman site but you were the closest to my house.

I'm debating whether it is 4 or 5 star, but leaning towards 5. The most important things are the workmanship, availability, accuracy and professionalism. These were all aced with flying colors. You get what you pay for. It wasn't a cheap AC replacement. They were ready within an hour of my call to add additional refrigerant. They were available to reschedule as needed. They turned on a dime for me. They got me the energy rebate I requested, without me having to lift a finger. They worked directly with my insurance to make sure I was taken care of. They make detailed reports and can explain the more decisions. Even though I didn't need the extra thermostat at this time, it was included in the package. I had to ask for it when it came time to pay the bill. I think it was complimentary along with the install but they still itemize free things on the receipt. The complimentary refrigerant was left off the receipt, the only exception.

UPDATE:  I did receive a call from a representative in the company following my last review.  He was empathetic and even though the damage from the days of wasted time were already done at least he said it was a coaching opportunity.  It is good to hear they will address the problem.  Also, I would like to add that their technicians are all very competent.  I have always been impressed by their work.  By the way, their tech Mark who came out was phenomenal.  They have very hard working techs.  If I could give Mark six stars I would.  Between him and the person who talked to me about my experience they were able to raise the rating of my review.

We purchased a system through Goettl about a year ago.  The installation went alright and overall the experience has been positive but we have encountered severe issues with this company.  First there was some mixup multiple times during the initial part of the installation of the system.  I had to repeatedly communicate everything we ordered and it almost was not done correctly.  However, when it was done correctly they seem very prone to have severe miscommunication issues.  We had both an emergency plumbing issue this week and one regularly scheduled appointment for our AC maintenance.  The appointment for the plumbing appointment was a complete no show and the appointment for the maintenance yesterday was also a no show.  We rescheduled for today and it was nearly a no show as well.  However, the technician will not be at our house until nearly two hours after our scheduled appointment.  This is completely unacceptable as they already give such broad time windows.  To be late or to not show up during a four hour time window for a routine visit with no call is unacceptable.  I initiated contact most every time.  Also, what the representative said to me after the last phone call was upsetting.  She stated every appointment is simply a window time frame.  Yes I understand that but the fact is you are routinely late or did not show for each time frame you give.
