We bought a combo heat pump unit 3 years ago ( over $5000). Unit would not turn on to heat this year. Called Mike Carroll, salesman who sold us unit.  He told me there would be NO CHARGE to come out and check unit. Made appt and two days before date they texted to say THEY changed appt to the next day. Called them and made arrangements to come on the day they were suppose to. Jason showed up on time and determined problem was the thermostat.  He said it would be $79.00 for diagnostic service and ARE YOU READY FOR THIS $330.00 to replace the thermostat that costs less than $30.00 at home depot. Told him to contact Mike about service charge and NO THANK YOU on something that should cost less the $100 total to replace.
Bought new thermostat for $28.00 and replaced same in less that 10 mins. Service Tech's make commission on UP SELLING customers.  Well don't worry Donley and Mike I'm due to change both my 3 and 3.5 Trane units that are over 20 years old and I won't be checking with YOUR company. You just lost over $10,000 thanks to JASON.

I went through my home warranty who uses this company. They called me and set up a same day appointment. Gave me a 2 hour window, called 20 minutes before arriving and fixed my AC in about 20 minutes. Christian was very friendly and professional. And my house is finally cool again!

Martin was awesome! He came out on a Saturday afternoon and after checking the outside unit and the attic unit, he determined we needed a new thermostat. After installing the new thermostat he went outside, with us, to show us how we can clean  the coils on our condensing unit to help extend the life of the coils and the fan motor. Thank you Martin we really appreciated you coming out on a Saturday afternoon and getting our A/C up and running.

I showed up to this place on a Friday afternoon at 4:45pm and they said they close at 5pm.  With one car in the parking lot, I thought for sure they closed early.  NOPE!  
I walked in and was greeted by the nicest lady. She took the part I brought in and compared it to what she had in stock.  She even took out her voltmeter and confirmed my part was dead.
She wasn't really sure if she had the correct part. So she called Kevin to confirm.  Kevin confirmed that she had the correct part.  
I'm a do it  myself kinda person.  Trying to get certain HVAC and other parts can be really difficult sometimes.  Kevin even gave me his number in case I had a question when installing the new part.

It's nice to have found an honest business with genuine people.  
I came home, put the new part on..... and I've got nothing but cool air going on now.

These were  the most amazing people I have ever seen. Our A/C had been out for 1 week.. but we survived.. I have to tell you that hands down people, this company is the best.. Chase came to our home evaluated the situation and was straight up  honest , he told us  it might take 3 days to get everything needed to replace the unit.. He was here on Tuesday 9/1 and today,9/4.. this morning some of the most hardest working young men came to our home and worked from early morning till after 3 in the afternoon. I wanted to buy them some lunch but they declined very graciously and told me I was one of the nicest customers they had ever met..I sure hope there are more caring customers out there.. Anyway .. Thank you everyone at Valley's Best A/C company for everything.. Lillian

We just moved to Fountain Hills and had the unpleasant surprise of our old heat pump blowing out cold air ( in the heating mode.)  Based on positive feedback I read on Yelp about ASavings Air, I gave Jason (the owners there) a call. Turns out, that was a wise choice.  Jason and Conrad were outstanding throughout the entire process. I own an electrical contractor in MN and know what separates the good from the bad contractor-wise. These guys are rock solid, recommending only what they would install / provide in their own home. My wife and I highly recommend A Savings Air.

We got to know Sam before he started his own business.   We will follow him WHEREVER he is!  EXCEPTIONAL!

I have been using this family owned company for my home and business for years. I have had first class service from them. Jason who is the son has taken over for his father who is in remission from cancer. He also is a very kind and caring man who taught his son well. I have called Jason on crazy hours and yes even Saturday and Sunday and they always fit me in. I have sent him to my parents on a Sunday he came out and fixed the problem. He is  very reliable and very kind and caring. Jason I cant THANK YOU enough! If I had known about them being on Yelp I would Have shared this sooner!

When our AC broke Luke came right out the next morning. He gave me a couple options, one of them being that my AC needed to be replaced. We already knew it was coming so we just went with the new one. There was a slight delay in getting the unit, however, they took care of us and filled up the existing AC so we were comfortable until the new unit came in. The company was in touch with us everyday letting us know any updates they had. The install was easy and painless! Every technician that I had contact with was extremely helpful and nice to work with. We will certainly invite them back to our house if we have any other issues. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs help!

If you're thinking about going Solar + Energy Storage, these are your guys! They are nothing short of a reputable, professional, 1st class organization.

I have friends that have worked with them in CA and they are extremely happy post install. Their customer service is great all the way through.

I purchased a new rooftop ac unit from Wolff Mechanical a year ago. I found them when I needed someone to do a hail inspection on my ac unit. They were very helpful in assisting me to make a hail claim through my insurance company. Long story short, my insurance didn't pay for the hail damage, so I had to purchase the new system myself. After getting quotes form other companies Wolff was the best value. Now a year and a couple weeks after they installed the unit, it all of the sudden stopped working out of the blue last night at about 8:00pm. I went to Wolff's website and called the number thinking I would leave a message for someone to call me back the next day. To my surprise someone answered. I explained the problem and she said she would have someone call me back. About 10 minutes later a tech called me and said that he could be there in about an hour to fix it. This would be at 9:00pm! I was amazed. After the tech arrived it was determined that it was the thermostat that was bad. He asked to see my initial install paperwork. When I showed it to him he noticed that the system was actually 2 weeks past warranty. He quickly said no problem, I'll make the warranty retroactive and cover it. These guys are top notch! where a lot of companies would just show up when it was convenient for them and stick you with the cost of repairs the day after the warranty expires, Wolff values their customers enough to make getting their system back working again a priority and stands behind their work! I would highly recommend them!

We're extremely happy we chose Howard Air! Top notch work done! We got our new air conditioner in 2018. Our entire house is always very comfortable since then. Thanks to them also cleaning our ventilation system; and adding more vents; and installing our new thermostat, etc., the temperature we set is the exact temperature in each room. (With Our old system some rooms were always warmer than others.) But not anymore, again thanks to Howard Air.
With their excellent work, they've earned our trust! Obviously, they want customers happy with the outcome!

This included a Free checking of the entire AC system every 6 months.

One of our units began to pump out warmer air. Red  Mountains after hours service works! James, the professional, attentive tech came out on a Sunday. His intent was to impart HVAC knowledge and fix what was needed. So many techs in this industry push products for more revenue and not solutions. Not James, he's a pro. Red Mountain did the job right and I was happy to pay a premium for after hours. Great work team!

Not a big Yelper but I had to weigh in here. All of the scathing one star reviews are no doubt justified in my opinion. I see a smattering of positive reviews and after my last experience with Orangutan in November 2019, I'm going to assume those were posted by relatives of the owners. Last fall I had the displeasure of dealing with a tech named Lorenzo. Guy had attitude from the minute he entered our home. Kept referring to me as man even after repeated requests to call me by my first name. Anyway, this was supposed to be the fall check up under the service plan we had purchased in 2010. No problems with the air handler and that should have been the end of the visit. Oh no, he insisted on checking the AC unit outside. I told him that was not necessary as the Orangutan rep (actually a manager who was following up on a complaint we had about the PREVIOUS rude and disrespectful tech) had assured us in April 2019 that the unit was in good working order for at least another year. He went out to the unit anyway and within a few minutes he came back with some photos of some of the mechanisms and stated see these man, you need a new compressor. He then went on to say that he had notes from the April 2019 visit indicating that I was told then that the compressor was on it's last legs. I asked him to show me the notes of a conversation I knew I never had. He couldn't produce the notes of course. I'd had it with Lorenzo and told him to grab his equipment and get out. Suffice it to say I did not pay the $1,349.00 they wanted. Did I mention that Orangutan techs pay is commission based? This was confirmed by the manager during the April visit. I know! What could go wrong with a commission based tech rooting around your AC system, huh?? OK, fast forward to today. A tech from another company (Bumblebee) did a comprehensive check of our unit and, wait for it, found NOTHING wrong! Big surprise, huh? I told the technician, who could not have been more courteous and respectful, about the prior estimate and he just chuckled at the notion that there was ANYTHING wrong with the unit. Bottom line folks, Orangutan may have been a decent outfit once but those days are gone. Avoid them like the plague.
