Jesse is an amazing plumber!! Bought a fixer-upper and he did a meticulous job re-plumbing the entire house--there was no detail left undone and with his full knowledge and explanation as well as his pricing I could not have been more comfortable entrusting him with this huge undertaking--I might also add, I am somewhat fussy and he was immaculate in his work habits:))
I continue to have friends thank me for sending him their way.

I discovered water in our basement today, and it was increasing. Discovered the issue, called Badger, returned my call within 5 minutes and arrived within an hour before more damage could occur. Fixed the problem in an hour for a reasonable price! Don't hesitate to use them!!

Don helped me with an issue we were having with our plumbing. Our ejector wasn't working right and it was backing up repeatedly. We've had others come by to work on it, but Don was able to actually fix it. Couldn't be happier - fast and efficient.

I didn't realize how much I needed help from Petersen Home Solutions until the project had started.  Thank heavens Jason and his team have secret special skills in addition to great overall abilities.  
Needed rubber safety stair treads installed in a stairwell of five story walk-up fraternity house built in the 1920s - easy enough I figured.  Interviewed five companies.  Jason responded to my inquiry quickly and came to look at the job within 24 hours.  Turns out he has extensive stair experience.  His bid outlined issues that could reveal themselves as old covering was removed, and related costs.   No one else brought up potential problems and I would've been either hit with unexpected additional cost and/or ended up with inferior work or both.   Thank God I thought hmm I'll hire someone with specific experience.
After pulling the old covering Jason found TWO concrete steps that WEREN' T ATTACHED to the overall iron frame - just barely held in place with caulk.  OMG imagine how bad that could've been.  Can't believe the boys never disengaged them completely.  Can't believe my luck that Jason found and repaired them before catastrophe hit.  My heart's still skipping beats 'cause I secretly love my frat boys and would be devastated if they were hurt.
His price was neither highest not lowest.  His project timeline was accurate.  He and he crew were reliable, sensible, nice and did a clean job.  I got text updates when necessary.  Jason neither wasted my time nor failed to explain odd challenges and nuances he came across.  
In addition to the stairs, Jason showed me how to use a belt sander correctly and took a look at a weird problem I figured would be expensive to address; he came up with a perfect $20 solution.  Plus he looked at some random steps that worried me and explained why the issues were cosmetic.  I'm in love, what can I say?
I'll use Petersen Home Solutions again and again.  Jason properly (and correctly turns out) addresses potentially odd situations in old residences and, consequently, doesn't give cookie cutter bids or change pricing mid-job.  You know, when you're almost hostage to whoever's doing the work.

Scott put in 2 bathroom faucets (removed the old ones too) for our master bathroom.  He did a great job. Very nice man that is trustworthy. Very reasonable.  Cleaned up everything after the job was finish. I highly recommend Scott Marhofke Plumbing.

The company service was excellent. Showed up as promised and Gerald was great. He is a good, honest employee. The price was better then fair. I will use them whenever i need them going forward. Thank You Zoom

We had them come out to our non profit food pantry to replace a utility sink. They are honest and do great work.

My sump pump went out in the middle of the night and they came out right away and fixed it

we had our laundry  pipes freeze-burst on Christmas Eve. of all the folks we reached out on Yelp , Eugene was the only one willing to come and fix the problem.   really appreciate the prompt response.   ( meanwhile out regular plumber called so we declined Eugene's help.   but he's on our list now)

Our basement sump pump was making a noise do to it's age so we had CCP come out and replace it. We are extremely happy with the work that was done. We can now sleep peacefully at night without the old pumps noise. Also their rates are reasonable. Very nice and respectful plumber. I highly recommend this plumbing company. I'll post some pictures my wife took.

Sammy came on 9/4/2013 to replace faucets and install new drain pipe under the sink. He charged me $165. I paid him on the same day with a check and I have proof that my check was cashed.  So, you can imagine my surprise when Jesse from Roto-Rooter called me last week, MONTHS LATER, stating I owe an additional $283, insisting that the actual cost of the service was greater than what Sammy charged me, but they somehow failed to send me a single invoice between now and then stating that there was ANY balance owed. In what world are these people living in?!  You don't change pricing on someone retroactively. I paid what I was charged on the day the service was provided, and it is absolutely ridiculous that they are coming back months later and trying to get me to pay extra.  These people are DISHONEST and UNPROFESSIONAL and I would not even recommend them to my worst enemy. It's too bad they are subcontracted to provide services for Nicor's home warranty clients-- I am definitely contacting Nicor to let them know they will lose my business.

I noticed on another review below dated 8/2017 they state that Jim's mother was ill? I was told by Debbie on Dec 21 2016 that Jim's mother passed away. See below.  DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.  BTW I've never received by money back. So, not sure about the part of you writing you are not crooks.

I have used Kuhn Plumbing services for several years at both my home and workplace.  If you want an honest, professional service done right the first time this is the crew to use.   A slow drip can do a lot of damage before you ever see it and something that doesn't work quite right makes me crazy.   I don't mind paying a union rate for first rate work because when you pro-rate the cost over the years the work will last, it's pennies a day.

My garbage disposal was in bad shape and leaking whenever I would run water in the sink. I did not want a replacement, so the plumber just removed it and installed new pipes and a strainer. He stayed focused and got the job done in a little over an hour. The new parts were reasonably priced. I was satisfied with the service CCP provided.

I recently contacted escobar construction to fix my attic excellent experience the contractor Cristian Escobar was very detailed with the estimate since the beginning that's what calls my attention when they were here in my house they cover everything no dust were going into the rest of the house they cleaned every single day they worked I have no complaints at all these people are very humble professional responsible. I recommend this company and Cristian Escobar the manager contractor 100% satisfaction

By far one of the worst of the lot!!

Communication should have been the first red flag.  

I picked the place because of the proximity to my property.  I figure I could use a trusty plumber since I had multiple properties in the area.

Bill gave me an appointment time and promised to call an hour in advance.  Fail!  Did not call and did not show up at advertised time.

When i called, he proceeds to make all types of excuse.  

Finally sent someone out who showed up 3 hours after the fact.  

The man quickly assessed the situation and said he would get the job done for a quoted price.  I haggled with him for a cheaper price. He agreed to the price but did a cosmetically terrible job. Plumbers should take pride in the job they do.  Not this service.
That didn't bother me as much.  My problem is that the drain is still leaking.  How can you proudly fix a drain as a plumber and the drain still leaks?  At least glue the leak properly

Called Bill the next day to let him know that the job done was terrible and he made all types of excuses why. He says the drain needs rodding and there's grease everywhere. I wasn't told this when i was making payments. So why not offer that information when you fixed the drain in the first place?  When I go to the mechanic to change my oil but my engine has a hole in it... he'll mention it to me.  

Not with this service.  Patched the problem and took the money and ran.  Not even a receipt.

Do yourself a favor.  Do not use this service.

This company isn't actually a local plumbing company and is just a shell. They're Beverly plumbing and asked me how to spell Damen Avenue. They told me they'd contact a tech and and get back to me about how fast someone could get out to me. Ten minutes later I called back and asked for an update and they had forgotten and asked me to call back in another two minutes

They advertise on Angie's List by offering $99.00 for 2 hours of plumbing labor, so I purchased this deal and this company never showed up.  The first day they rescheduled, the second day they didn't show up at all.  They also lied and said they were on their way.  I took 2 days off work waiting for these people, they didn't have the decency to even call.  I finally called and left a message for the owner himself (Terry Cox), he FINALLY called me back much later and suggested that I cancel the service call.  What kind of business does this?   I'm typically very fair when I judge businesses, but this is some of the worse customer disservice I've ever experienced.   Strongly advise you to consider alternatives before you hire them.
