The repairman was on time. He took care of my problem & all was good. Never used this company but will again in future.

Have used Joe for at least 10 years.  Use him not only at our house, but more often at a 4 flat we own.  Good work, fair prices, and shows up when he says he will.  And shows up quickly if it's an emergency.  Can't recommend him highly enough!

Had received a quote from another plumber for my cabin in Three Oaks.  Thought it was somehwat high so decided to get a second quote before proceeding...so glad I did!  Not only was Goodman lower but my experience from initial call to on-site completion was top-notch on all.  Nick (owner) took time to explain the issues and even though they ran into an unexpected on-site issue (I actually had a 120v water heater versus a 220v), he was able to pivot immediately and get a new unit in and install it the very next morning in time for guests arriving following day.   Could not recommend this company enough - just an honest, efficient, professional small business that always make sure they have a happy and satisifed customer whatever it takes.  Thanks to Goodman team and will be recommending you to all the other owners at Lakeside Cabins!

We have old galvanized pipes in some of our vintage home and they get difficult to clean out. I've been putting off fixing the slow drain (until it stopped draining altogether) because we are planning some remodeling and an addition this year. Just couldn't wait any longer.

I have extensive experience with plumbers... the honest guys and the really dishonest ones too.

Bob's a straight shooter. He's a nice guy too, but that's just an added bonus. It was a struggle but Bob stuck with it and got the job done. I also took the opportunity to talk to him about the plumbing and the potential fixes for the future. He had some ideas that I hadn't thought of that would save us a ton of time, money and mess.

When you find a good plumber, stick with him.

So, I'm happy.. it's Friday, worked out at my favorite gym today, hung out with my favorite wife (just kidding.. only have 1 of those) shopped at my favorite store and got my pipes cleaned... not necessarily in that order.

I'd call it a win.

We needed help with removing our toilet and replacing the wax ring, but we didn't have the tool to cut a rusty screw. They were quick to respond to my initial call and flexible with coming later the following day when my husband was home from work. They arrived on time and were done very quickly, at an affordable price. Both men were polite, friendly, and social. We will definitely be saving their number for future needs!

Called Gus to repair the toilet and kitchen faucet. Responsive and reliable (unlike the other handyman who said would work on the jobs but never scheduled a time).  His rate is very reasonable and he does good work. Now I'm looking to see what else I can get done in the house while he's still available. Lol... thanks Gus!!

Very very satisfied customer here! My sump pump broke a couple days ago and the backup had to take over. Unfortunately with all the snow melting and all the rain that we got, the backup pump simply couldn't keep up. We originally got another company to replace the pump and thought that the issue was resolved. They said we needed to replace the whole system and how the pump replacement was just a temporary solution until we got the new system. It seemed to work since water was no longer overflowing but the water level in the pit still seemed high. Today the alarms started beeping for one reason or another so we decided to call Glenbrook plumbing. Bill came out to look at everything and he mentioned that the sump pump wasn't working. Yes, the same pump that was replaced a couple days ago already broke. He offered to replace it but suggested to contact the other company since it might still be under warranty. So we contacted the other company that originally replaced it to see if they can fix it. Keep in mind that we already paid $1400 to the other company just a couple days ago to replace the pump that's already broken after only a couple days. They said that it broke because it was working too hard and that we really need to just get a whole new system. They quoted us $13,000 to get this new system put in and we said we would think about it. We called Glenbrook again and Bill came back out to replace the broken pump. Bill basically gave my brother a crash course on sump pumps and replaced the broken pump for $476! The water in the pit immediately drained and all 3 pumps are now functioning! Bill and Glenbrook Plumbing are getting my business for all my plumbing needs and will be recommending them to the home owners association in the event that any of the other residents ever need help!

AVOID THIS BUSINESS BY ALL MEANS.  

I spoke with the owner Jason over the phone and scheduled an appointment for the next day regarding a sewer being backed up. He showed up the next morning on time which was the only plus. The experience after that was not so great though.

He cleared out the main sewage lines and a water line located behind the stove. Roughly 20 minutes after the work was done and he had left, the tenant called the whole basement had FLOODED.

I showed up to the unit and found the issue. Jason drilled a two inch hole into the water pipe so he could rod it out. The issue was he simply used regular tape to cover up the hole. I was shocked when I saw that a professional plumber would use tape to cover up a hole in a water pipe.

I called Jason immediately to explain the situation but was told he is on the other line and would call back. I did not hear from Jason so I called back an hour later and left a voicemail. It has been over a week and two additional voicemail's later, he still has not called back. Obviously he is avoiding contact by all means at this point.

The situation only gets better. One week after the work was done, the tenant called that the sewer was backed up again. I called another plumber and he had to come out and got the job done. I had to pay twice the amount because the job was not done the first time around.
Also, I like to point out I was quoted the day before a reasonable price. It was not until the work was completed did the owner Jason mention he performed extra work and charged $100 more from the original quote.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS BY ALL MEANS.

Our heat went out in the furnace. Called a few places and King Heating came out quickly to solve the problem. A + for quick response and A + for quickly solving and repairing the furnace. My issue is the charge to use sandpaper on a flame sensor - $275. $80 to come out and $195 for 5 minutes of labor to use sandpaper to clean the sensor.

Do Not Hire this person!!!
We recently hired him for a small shower renovation. We paid him $4k and he never finished the job. We had 3 separate plumbers check his work and All of them said it was incorrect. We ended up paying someone else to finish the job correctly. He ghosted us and never responded to us after he took our money. HORRIBLE! Please Do Not Hire Him!!!

Now looking at these two other reviews, I feel I should comment because after all the total experience is what matters. I called for an elderly neighbor who needed a new toilet. We purchased a toilet at home depot, then got what seemed like a reasonable quote from them. I was not able to be there, but got a call from them saying that the toilet was installed but that the flow going into the bowl was very low definitely sub par. They offered to take this new toilet out and replace it with one from their warehouse the next day. Hmm I thought, ( I was feeling pressured to decide for this elderly lady, and time is money as he kept repeating) so I decided no and asked them to take the brand new toilet out, and that we'd return it to Home Depot and start again. I got a call 15 minutes later saying problem was resolved that there was a rag stuck inside the brand new toilet. Hmm...
What do you folks think? Scam or honest mistake?
Wouldn't a seasoned plumber check inside the bowl before installing, or the Home Depot return people check before restocking it. that's IF the toilet had been previously purchased unbeknownst to us?
Too many if, buts, or maybes I think.
Just keep all your senses alert, if you still choose to use them.
Price was competitive, I'll say that.
