We just had Southtown plumbing replace our sump pump system, outdoor spigots and utility room faucet. They were prompt, very courteous and seemed very knowledgeable. They don't skimp on the components and recommend and use the best. They're not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I had an issue with a toilet and and adjacent sink. I was afraid that there was a break in the common drain pipe after having had a similar problem a dozen years ago.

The plumber B&A dispatched was Mike Freier. He was very friendly, professional and competent. He worked quick and clean! The problem turned out to be a minor one, thankfully. He was done and out in an hour. And he gave advice on how to prevent the sink issue from recurring. He provided, by far, the best plumbing experience I have ever had.

If all the B&A plumbers are as good as Mike you would be silly to call anyone else.

Friendly, honest, quality work. He shows up on time, explains things well and takes great care with his work. We've hired Pekney plumbing for a number of projects and we've always been happy with the results.  On a few occasions the issue ended up being significantly less than what we originally anticipated.  Rather than take advantage of the situation like some people might Joe explained everything and saved us time and money.  We've also had a water heater go out late on Friday afternoon, and Joe was able to come out that day with a new one saving us from a weekend without warm water.

Awesome guy who fixed my plumbing problem in five minutes after another plumber worked on it for three days.  Also he checked a few other issues for free. Reasonable price as week.

Had received a quote from another plumber for my cabin in Three Oaks.  Thought it was somehwat high so decided to get a second quote before proceeding...so glad I did!  Not only was Goodman lower but my experience from initial call to on-site completion was top-notch on all.  Nick (owner) took time to explain the issues and even though they ran into an unexpected on-site issue (I actually had a 120v water heater versus a 220v), he was able to pivot immediately and get a new unit in and install it the very next morning in time for guests arriving following day.   Could not recommend this company enough - just an honest, efficient, professional small business that always make sure they have a happy and satisifed customer whatever it takes.  Thanks to Goodman team and will be recommending you to all the other owners at Lakeside Cabins!

We have used this plumber several times, for everything from maintenance, to a major remodel, even emergencies. I love that the same plumber comes to my home each time.  Never had an upsale on services or products that I didn't need.  Trustworthy, honest and follows through until the problem is resolved.  Easy 5 star review!

We needed help with removing our toilet and replacing the wax ring, but we didn't have the tool to cut a rusty screw. They were quick to respond to my initial call and flexible with coming later the following day when my husband was home from work. They arrived on time and were done very quickly, at an affordable price. Both men were polite, friendly, and social. We will definitely be saving their number for future needs!

I had a storm door caught in gusty wind and destroyed an exterior door frame. I found Gus here on yelp. He responded promptly and scheduled an appt. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and did an outstanding job. After fixing the issue, he came by again when weather permitted (without me having to ask) for some sanding and painting to make his job look even better.

Based on my initial experience with Glenbrook Plumbing, I thought I had found my go to plumbing service.  Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience the last time I used this business.

I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1 because the owner and his son are phenomenal, and I would trust these guys with any plumbing project.  But the same cannot be said for the employee who worked on our toilet.  He didn't fix it, and he made the problem worse.

If you use Glenbrook Plumbing, I recommend asking for Bill Jr. or Bill Sr.; these guys are knowledgeable, dedicated, and their invoices include reasonable charges.

I manage a portfolio of properties all over Chicagoland and Jason has been our go to plumber for all our plumbing. He charges a fair price, and is always available for questions. In the last 3-4 years I've probably had him work on 40-50 homes, and have always been pleased. I've recommended him to family, and other property owners(investors), and they've always been pleased.

Have used for routine cleaning and I guess they've done a good job.  Had a recent incident where they had 3 different guys identify three very different problems w/solutions from do nothing, it's fine to need a new unit and turn off immediately.  

Customer service over the phone was outstanding (sense of urgency and polite), but I have no confidence in most of their technicians.    (The third tech they sent was great but others were not at all).  One of their techs immediately went to the bid process for new unit and one other issue he quickly identified in my basement - really?  One tech rudely stormed out.......

We recently hired him for a small shower renovation. We paid him $4k and he never finished the job. We had 3 separate plumbers check his work and All of them said it was incorrect. We ended up paying someone else to finish the job correctly. He ghosted us and never responded to us after he took our money. HORRIBLE! Please Do Not Hire Him!!!

Public Plumbers was referred to us by a trusted professional in the plumbing business when we discovered a gas leak in our house. This was an emergency situation and they came out within an hour of calling. They were very professional and thorough! It took a long time because they were being very careful and making sure they got every leak. I was expecting a gigantic bill but it was reasonable, given the situation. Peoples Gas came back out to assess and said the plumbers did a great job- we got our gas turned back on. I highly recommend this business!
