I wouldn't even give one star but had no choice to write a review. I wish I could write this under better circumstances. They did plumbing work in my basement and installed a new faucet in the kitchen. Afterwards the water was turned on and noticed there was no hot water. Upon inquiry the plumber went back into the basement where the hot water heater is and said, Your hot water heater is cashed. I thought, That's odd considering it's been working just fine. Today we had someone look at the hot water heater and found that someone turned the temperature all the way down on the hot water heater. I'm not happy about this! I may be a female and I may be blonde... but trust me ... I'm FAR from stupid! They'll never get another penny from me.

The repairman was on time. He took care of my problem & all was good. Never used this company but will again in future.

Friendly, honest, quality work. He shows up on time, explains things well and takes great care with his work. We've hired Pekney plumbing for a number of projects and we've always been happy with the results.  On a few occasions the issue ended up being significantly less than what we originally anticipated.  Rather than take advantage of the situation like some people might Joe explained everything and saved us time and money.  We've also had a water heater go out late on Friday afternoon, and Joe was able to come out that day with a new one saving us from a weekend without warm water.

Awesome guy who fixed my plumbing problem in five minutes after another plumber worked on it for three days.  Also he checked a few other issues for free. Reasonable price as week.

Had received a quote from another plumber for my cabin in Three Oaks.  Thought it was somehwat high so decided to get a second quote before proceeding...so glad I did!  Not only was Goodman lower but my experience from initial call to on-site completion was top-notch on all.  Nick (owner) took time to explain the issues and even though they ran into an unexpected on-site issue (I actually had a 120v water heater versus a 220v), he was able to pivot immediately and get a new unit in and install it the very next morning in time for guests arriving following day.   Could not recommend this company enough - just an honest, efficient, professional small business that always make sure they have a happy and satisifed customer whatever it takes.  Thanks to Goodman team and will be recommending you to all the other owners at Lakeside Cabins!

Bob is about as good as it gets when it comes to choosing a plumber. The main reasons are he does great work and is just an honest guy which can be hard to find in a plumber. Prices are reasonable and we will likely only use Bob for all our plumbing needs. He has replaced pipes in our house, replaced our hot water heater and has repaired numerous gas leaks. I have seen him TOO often over the last year but in all seriousness he is a great plumber. Highly recommend!!

We needed help with removing our toilet and replacing the wax ring, but we didn't have the tool to cut a rusty screw. They were quick to respond to my initial call and flexible with coming later the following day when my husband was home from work. They arrived on time and were done very quickly, at an affordable price. Both men were polite, friendly, and social. We will definitely be saving their number for future needs!

The job was small but the professionalism was huge.  Gus was prepared and masked up for safety.  Within the quoted time he replaced the bathroom faucet and drain assemble.  Done on time, no leaks and feeling safe was a perfect experience.  THANKS GUS!

I've unfortunately had to use Glenbrook plumbing more that I would like, they've fixed many issues for me - including leaky faucets, faulty toilets, hot water heater replacement, ejector pump failure (2X), clogged toilets (I have boys that like to flush things down the toilet) and most recently a free standing tub with leaky pipes. Bill Jr. Bill Sr. And many of their employees did a fine job. Prices seem fair for the Northshore. They are prompt and dependable which matters most, especially in a plumbing crisis!

AVOID THIS BUSINESS BY ALL MEANS.  

I spoke with the owner Jason over the phone and scheduled an appointment for the next day regarding a sewer being backed up. He showed up the next morning on time which was the only plus. The experience after that was not so great though.

He cleared out the main sewage lines and a water line located behind the stove. Roughly 20 minutes after the work was done and he had left, the tenant called the whole basement had FLOODED.

I showed up to the unit and found the issue. Jason drilled a two inch hole into the water pipe so he could rod it out. The issue was he simply used regular tape to cover up the hole. I was shocked when I saw that a professional plumber would use tape to cover up a hole in a water pipe.

I called Jason immediately to explain the situation but was told he is on the other line and would call back. I did not hear from Jason so I called back an hour later and left a voicemail. It has been over a week and two additional voicemail's later, he still has not called back. Obviously he is avoiding contact by all means at this point.

The situation only gets better. One week after the work was done, the tenant called that the sewer was backed up again. I called another plumber and he had to come out and got the job done. I had to pay twice the amount because the job was not done the first time around.
Also, I like to point out I was quoted the day before a reasonable price. It was not until the work was completed did the owner Jason mention he performed extra work and charged $100 more from the original quote.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS BY ALL MEANS.

I had a fire in my ductwork and I called King Heating at 5 in the morning while the firetrucks were still there and they sent out a technician named Marvin who identified the problem and also explained to my insurance company the situation so that they approved a brand new furnace.

Marvin was courteous and respectful of my home and communicated the issues at hand in a way that I could understand them and King Heating answered the adjusters questions over the phone to get things moving.

When time and professionalism count you can count on Marvin and King Heating to take care of you.

I'd recommend them to my family and friends.

We recently hired him for a small shower renovation. We paid him $4k and he never finished the job. We had 3 separate plumbers check his work and All of them said it was incorrect. We ended up paying someone else to finish the job correctly. He ghosted us and never responded to us after he took our money. HORRIBLE! Please Do Not Hire Him!!!

I called them for an estimate on changing a gasket in my bathroom. I was told that they charge $165 to come out and that will be for one guy and half hr. Its it takes longer than that, they need 2 guys and it will be around $400. Are you kidding me?
I called another plumber and he came our, fixed the gasket and did other work, was there for about 4 hrs and the charged me $195. Of course I gave him a little extra as I felt bad he did so much work. This guy is licensed and bond. I will be happy to refer him to anybody.
