We've used Porter Plumbing for many years, and whether for emergencies or routine needs, they exceed expectations every time. We highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

I called these folks to fix a broken toilet flange. The gentleman who answered the phone, Mark was very helpful and followed up quickly. They were actually able to squeeze us in same day. The plumber who arrived was named Josh and he was fantastic, very personable and helpful. He quickly handled the toilet and asked if there were any other issues around the house that we had any questions about. We definitely will be calling them next time we need plumbing services.

Frank fixed my plumbing problems. I'm happy with the quality of the work. The price for the work was fair and reasonable. I'll call Frank again for any plumbing related work.

It is hard to give a 5 star review any time you have to pay as much I did for my repair BUT it had to be done- we needed a new boiler- our old one was kaput.

We had a different plumber first and he made some repairs that didn't work and we were worried to have him do the full replacement so we called ED and sons and what a night a day difference. Very knowledgeable, dependable and they returned my calls promptly every time.

Very sad to be poor- VERY happy to be warm! ( By the way- I thought his price for our new boiler seemed very fair)

I am questioning writing this review and contemplated writing a horrifying review to scare away anyone from calling this man (i'm very selfish).

I found Mike on angie's list a few years ago when a pipe broke in the basement to a spare bathroom. I called mike and he said he was very busy. My daughter was having a party and he said he would be sure to make it before the weekend. Sure enough He and Tom came and replaced what was needed. Better yet His pricing was very reasonable. HE and tom are Neat and I mean Neat. Personable, caring, helpful, thorough. He runs out straight all the time and does what others do not. Used him for a hot water tank replacement and straightened out years of tom foolery (crooked pipes etc.) used him for a boiler re-vent ( again someone else's screw up but made it as best as he could. Disposer removal and strainer install. Sink and boiler repair maintenance items. I just have no accurate words for them Except they makes people happy (once He comes). Like i said he is very busy. Makes the others look like crooks and baffones in my 100% accurate assessment and opinion.

Eric from EMA was the best worker out of the 30 or so workers that did renovation on our house, and he was in a whole league of his own when compared to the other 2 plumbers we suffered through.  He is the best of the best when it comes to plumbing, and I am 150% happy with the results of his work, his professionalism, his speed, his honesty, his flexibility, and how cheap he was compared to other plumbers!  Other plumbers, hang your heads in shame!  Eric is your gold standard on how your trade SHOULD be plied!

We decided to install 4 Grohtherm SmartControl Dual Function Thermostatic Shower Trims, which are a very new product in the United States from Grohe, and 2 other plumbers took forever and did a horrible job installing them.  We'd nearly given up hope that any US plumber could install them when I got ahold of Eric on the phone.  Not only did he come by in just a few days (I usually had to wait weeks for the other plumbers), he had actually watched videos and read manuals about the trim the night before the job!!  It showed too, because what took the other plumber 6 hours to do, he did in about 20 minutes.  In a matter of hours, he'd installed the rather complicated shower trims and fixed the problems the other plumbers created.  We were so amazed that we begged him to become our plumber for our entire renovation work.

When he came back for the rest of the renovation plumbing work, he discovered (unlike every other worker on the job) that someone had drilled through some of our drain pipes.  While that turned into a massive headache for us, I am so thankful that Eric was there to discover it and help us deal with it.  I can't imagine how awful it would've been if we'd started putting water through those drain pipes in the wall.

Eric made it clear that he didn't care whether I made this review or not, as he's already busy as hell, but I figured that Massachusetts needed to know that we found the best Grohe installer there is.  After owning 2 different houses and going through this intense 6 month renovation phase, I have never been as happy with a tradesman as I've been with Eric.  I cannot recommend him enough.

5/5 would recommend Bay State Heating & Cooling! Asked them to come out and look at a plumbing job. Nate was incredibly nice, friendly, and good with communication. He finished the job relatively quickly and was very knowledgeable, pointing out potential future issues to look out for.

Would definitely use them again!

John did a great job, fulfilling our plumbing needs promptly and effectively.  He took care of the job shortly after giving his estimate.  John even did the job in a way that was more cost-effective for us, with a better end result than we were expecting.  We would use John again for our plumbing needs in the future and highly recommend him.

Scott has handled a couple of repairs/projects at our home.  He is always responsive, honest, on-time, and his pricing is fair.  Good guy, who I definitely recommend strongly.

Eddie has done 5 plumbing/drain jobs for me now. I keep going back to him because he's such a master of his craft, he's very responsive, clear, and delightful, and his prices are highly affordable.

Recently, I did something stupid, and I needed Eddie to return to my house to clear my kitchen drain once again. FYI, I had had Eddie come only 5 months earlier to clear the same drain, but I really goofed up this time by putting egg shells down it.

I hadn't realized that egg shells are strictly forbidden because they act like fine sand and refuse to budge and move down the drain, no matter what Drano-like product you try to flush it away.

So, Eddie came, educated me, quickly cleared the drain, and charged me absolutely nothing. He explained that his work was guaranteed for 6 months, even if I, the Customer, am completely at fault.

Now, I ask you, what Plumber or Drain Company is going to do that!

Our boilers pilot was turned off and I requested for a quote on Yelp and Wilson's mechanical gave me response quickly and gave me the the exact amount that would be charged. Also the work was done quickly and he was very informative too. I would definitely recommend him. Thank you for the help.

I have used Rich's handyman services twice this year. Rich is very nice and easy to work with. He does a great job and gets it done in a short amount of time. We had Rich paint rooms, ceilings, a garage, fix fence posts and other little projects. My house looked great and more importantly, he does it for a reasonable price. I will definitely call him back for my next project!

Called plumbing solutions in dire straits. Had problems everywhere in the house and no idea what to do. I don't understand plumbing at all. Enter Matt - he calmly walked me through how to fix everything and got the job done in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family!

Sue came recommend by several people. Had a disposal that was severely leaking and needed replacement. She ended up stopping by on a Sunday to assess the situation and probably spent half an hour looking at some other issues I had - at no charge! Even though she was super busy, she squeezed me in this week which was greatly appreciated since the sink and dishwasher were inoperable until the disposal was replaced. She is very responsive, explains everything, and extremely reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her and I'm happy to have found someone I know I can trust to do other plumbing projects in my home.

Good plumbers.  Good guys.  I trust them.  

A zillion-times more trustworthy than Winters Pulmbing who are complete waste of money.

I wish I could give a zero star to this fraudulent company.
We tried to contact the company owner Laura Carbone and the response from her is their data is correct. So obviously the owner knew and endorsed the frauds.

We closed the house on 24Jan2022. Noticing the house had a broken oil gauge and some furnace water leaking, we called Alvin Hollis for service because previous owner used them. Then Joe (later turned out to be the sales guy) showed up and had my husband sign a contract without explaining what it was for.  As a result, my husband assumed it's for the service call.
It's not until we got the first oil delivery receipt, I called the office asking why. The lady said Joe had us sign a two-year automatic oil delivery contract. OMG!

In total from 28Jan to 14Mar (45days) they claimed they delivered 667.5 gallon (15 gallon per day) for an empty, non-heated house. The house was renovated and not occupied with heat all shut off until 08Apr (My contractors can witness I always wore Canada Goose in the house overseeing their progress, because heat was shutoff and room temperature were no more than 50F)
We terminated the contract on 17 Mar officially, realizing their oil quantity was way off from common sense perspective (my other house, ~2000 sqft used 460 gallon in total from Oct to Apr with room temperature kept to 70F, i.e. 2.6 gallon per day).

We will take legal actions against this fraudulent company, and will keep the community posted.
