ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
I started plumbing with my father, Tim Sullivan, at a very young age when he would take me out on service calls over the summer or after school and I fell in love with it!
After graduating from Bentley University in 2006, I quickly joined my parents at Plumbing Solutions, Inc. and I am currently a Plumbing Apprentice while I also help out with administrative and marketing work.
Working in a family business is a wonderful experience and I hope that one day I will be able to see my children everyday working with me at Plumbing Solutions, Inc. also.

I've hired this company twice so far. Installed a new kitchen faucet and fixed a leaky faucet in the shower for me. Arrived on time did a neat and quick job. Great service I would definitely hire them again
The team was excellent. They replaced my toilet with a new one, diagnosed and fixed the underlying pipes, which also needed replacement due to the initial installation being shoddy, and also fixed my shower bolt quickly and efficiently. (They also very nicely explained to me what exactly was happening with the pipes and the reasoning behind their recommendation and provided costs upfront). The team was also polite and pleasant to be around.
Would definitely hire this company again!
The only slight nit I have is that there is an $85 fee for 'small jobs', but I wasn't able to get a definition of what separates a small job from a large one, and generally don't love that there's a flat fee for this. However, the cost of the services overall was reasonable! Would still happily work with this company again :)

Very friendly, and great service! Yakov spent a long time on my issue, trying to troubleshoot and save us from having to spend the money to replace a part. He ultimately did have to replace it, but was very thorough and tested everything multiple times. Would use them again.

Yakov and the team at Plumbing Solutions were great. They were responsive and very flexible with scheduling and on time. He did a terrific job changing out a gross old toilet which was the initial ask. I threw in an oh by the way for a drain on our sink which turned out being a way bigger ask than I thought. He was not only willing to do it but went out of the way to do the job right leveling the vanity and securing it to the wall without an additional charge. In his mind that had to be done to safely do the plumbing g work and I'm so glad he spoke up and advocated for it to be done. We will undoubtedly go back to them with our next plumbing need--planned or otherwise.
Like many others, I highly recommend Plumbing Solutions. Answered right away and immediately scheduled a visit. Tim was great. Fixed the issue quickly and for reasonable price.
DEFINITELY call PS if you need a plumber!

Called plumbing solutions in dire straits. Had problems everywhere in the house and no idea what to do. I don't understand plumbing at all. Enter Matt - he calmly walked me through how to fix everything and got the job done in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family!

Matt came by the house three times in the past month for minor and then more significant work. Unlike other plumbers we've used in the past, they answered their phone, arrived on time, were awesome to work with and didn't kill us with the bill. Nice work - highly recommend!

Great responsiveness from this company and great work by Yakov-- patient, skilled, and communicative. Will call them next time we need a plumber.
Do NOT look any further. Plumbing Solutions and everyone who works there is responsive, on-time, honest, professional, knowledgeable, skilled, polite, and they leave things cleaner than when they got there. Tim and his son Matt are a winning father-son team. They do not get better than these two and the great business that they have built reflects that.
We requested a quote and Plumbing Solutions came out within a few days and promised to send a proposal within a few days. It's now been a few weeks. I've called twice and they say you'll hear from us ASAP - no word. Very disappointed.
I've used Plumbing Solutions twice and both jobs couldn't have gone any better. Artie fixed a leak from the upstairs shower that at least three other plumbers failed to fix. He worked on that job for three hours and it was not an easy repair, but he persevered and was successful! The second job was a simple replacement of the washing machine shut-off valve and again, a good, reliable repair and at a fair price.
I would also like to highlight what a nice guy Artie is and what a pleasure it was to have him in our home. Just a real nice fellow and an extremely hard worker.
Plumbing Solutions is now my go-to call for any plumbing issues! I highly recommend them.
Timely communications, fast resolution, thorough work completed on our busted sink. Will hire again.
Very expensive bill even for a small job. If you have no other option I suggest you to negotiate with them ahead. Otherwise they will rip you off with a shocking bill.

The father, Tim, stopped by today because last week we had a leak behind the toilet wall and the water was going to the basement. So I shut off the water to that part of the house until the plumber could come. When Tim arrived and we turned the water back on, however, we didn't see any water leaking! I felt dumb for having called them, and when I asked him to stay a while to make sure the leaking really stopped, he waited patiently and answered my questions. I really wanted to compensate him for his time, since I know he could have gone to another home if he didn't visit our house, but he insisted on nothing! This is the best service I've ever had with a plumber. He was also right on time, and gave me call before arriving. Will definitely use them in the future!
We suffered from water damage at the expense of a neighbor. We called plumbing solutions, who were initially quite helpful. When it came to questions that required extra communication, that is where we feel they dropped the ball. It took a while to find someone to answer our questions, probably a week or more of phone tag and emails. There was also quite a bit of miscommunication, from actually speaking with someone, to pricing/what option we chose.
There were 2 options presented to us, with pricing differences of a few hundred dollars. It seemed like if we chose the more expensive option, it would include the initial work/first option PLUS final touches. This was sadly not the case, and they expected a few thousand for a few plug in/attachments (i.e. sink, dishwasher, garbage disposal).
Front of house work (AKA actual appt work) went smoothly, along with the inspection. No concerns there!

These guys are incredibly professional. They arrive on time, know what they are doing, and leave the place spotless. The pan under our shower had to be replaced so the whole bathroom had to be torn apart. Plumbing Solutions found us the other people who needed to come in on the job and coordinated the plumbing with them. The finished product was wonderful.

Great company. Sent a request via yelp for replacement of a sink and faucet, got a call from Matt, scheduled the appointment within a couple of days. Kevin called 10 minutes before he arrived to tell me he is on his way. Came in, looked at the job, gave me a quote and when I approved, he started working. He did a great job, was very courteous and left the place neat and tidy. I would hire them again. The only reason I gave 4/5 is that their prices are not the most competitive. That said, I would rather pay a bit extra with the confidence that the job gets done right the first time.
Needed someone to fix a leaking whole house water. Found Plumbing Solutions in the Hometown News, called them on a weekend and never expected to reach an answering service. I heard from them shortly after my call and scheduled an appointment for Monday afternoon. Matt came out, looked at the unit and discovered it would need to be replaced. He was out the next day with the new unit and we were good to go without any dripping. I would definitely use them again.
I can't say enough great things about this company! My husband and I just bought a 100 year old house. Plumbing Solutions has been here 4 times in the last 6 months for small projects, inspections, and general maintenance. We've had Yakov, Artie, and Matt over to do the work. All of them have been very friendly and gave us fantastic service. They are always upfront about costs and try to save us money by troubleshooting and fixing rather than making us spend more on replacement. Plumbing Solutions will continue to be our go to for all of our plumbing needs.
Second time I have used this service. Had a clogged drain and Plumbing Solutions responded quickly and was able to schedule an appointment in a timely fashion. Tim very was professional and completed the job without any issues at a reasonable cost. Recommend.

Have you ever heard of a plumber who didn't charge you when they came, tried to fix the issue and couldn't fix it. Well that's what happened here. They earned my loyalty and respect.
I saw all the positive reviews and called.
I just moved into a house that needed a water line to the fridge and a new faucet in one of the showers. They were here on the 2nd day. Kevin was great explaining what needed to be done. I have a few more things that need to be done and will definitely use them again. One negative is their pricing, this project was $670.00 for 2-3 hours of work. They also quoted installing a toilet I bought at $500-600.00. I'll be doing this myself.
Great, prompt, friendly service. Artie called ahead, arrived right on time, and fixed our stiff shower control so it turns on smoothly and turns off without dripping.
Super responsive, great communication and they did an awesome job replacing our broken hot water heater and toilets in the same trip. Definitely will be coming back the next time we need any plumbing work!
Our tub drain was backed up and plumbing solutions was quick to respond, easy to schedule and great to work with. They were able to fix the problem quickly and were cheaper than a different company we had used before. We recommend.
It was extremely easy to schedule my appointment over yelp messaging. Yakov arrived and very quickly diagnosed the problem with my toilets. He was able to source the parts the same day and returned in 30 minutes to perform the repair. Everything was very expedient and professional. I would highly recommend using this plumbing company.
Matt was super responsive and helpful. I ended up going with a family friend at the 11th hour for the actual work because the deal was too good to pass up but I'm sure Plumbing Solutions would have done an excellent job. I'd recommend them based on their responsiveness and professionalism alone.
this company was very unfair to deal with they over charged me at a time of need , he had an eprentis do all the work and charged me for a master plumber , then a circulator pump that he installed failed 1 moth later and mr tim sulivan the owner refused to come back and fix the problem very unprofesonal, i would not recomend this company to my worst enamy
I'm really sad to report that my experience with this company was a complete disappointment. We started off on the right foot, with a speedy initial response. Matt came by my house to look at the job, and said he would send me an estimate, which he never did. I left him numerous messages and emails and never got a response. It's too bad because I had high hopes for these guys but they totally let me down.
We had a beast of a kitchen faucet that had to be replaced. It was installed incorrectly many years ago. Artie did an amazing miracle of a job getting it out and the new one in. Thank you!!!!!

We had a persistently clogging kitchen sink which resisted all our amateur remedies. Multiple passes with draino, then baking soda and vinegar provided only temporary relief. Plumbing Solutions was available within 24 hours of our call. Two capable guys came out, assessed and cleared the clog with a motorized snake. Price: $418. Glad to have good help when you really need it.
They were great! Quick and on time. I thought I was going to need a new shut off valve for the toilet but instead of just replacing it and costing me tons of money, they were able to fix it and do the other work I needed. Will definitely call them again if I need a plumber. Very friendly.

Tim is very professional and courteous, and performs great work at reasonable prices. He is extremely punctual and pleasant, and I appreciated how neat he was - he even laid down a blanket over a rug to catch any dirt that was being tracked into the house. I would definitely recommend!
Nice tech Artie and speedy service. I got two sillcocks and a valve replaced for outdoors. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.
Plumbing solutions came to my rescue when my sink was clogged! It was a plumbing emergency as far as I'm concerned and within 30 minutes of reaching out they responded, preliminary diagnosed the problem and provided availability to come out and fix it the next day. On the day of service they were prompt and kind. I was a first time customer and they fixed the clog, educated me (without making me feel dumb) about how to avoid this again and then went above and beyond to demonstrate their gratitude for my business. Long story short I highly recommend Matt and the Plumbing Solutions team.
I recently used Plumbing Solutions to:
- Remove an old toilet in the basement that was no longer in use.
- Install a utility sink in the basement.
- Install a spigot in my backyard.
Plumbing Solutions was extremely professional and came on site to give a free estimate. Matt took the time to explain what would need to be done for each task and the level of difficulty.
Plumbing Solutions confirms when they will be on site with an estimated time of arrival. When on site, they are professional and extremely courteous. The job was done right and tidy up upon leaving.
What made me give these guys '5' stars is the fact that Matt took the time to reach out to remind me how to prep the newly installed spigot for the winter because it runs through a crawl space and could freeze. That is above and beyond and the reason why Plumbing solutions will be my first phone call for any of my plumbing needs!

We just have Chris C. from Plumbing Solutions back out to our house for the second time. Why? We were so impressed with the first toilet replacement we ordered another! They just do a great job. They come into your house respectful, professional and timely. You get a text and a call when they are coming with a picture of the person showing up.
Their prices are fair and work excellent.
Can't recommend Plumbing Solution more.

The plumbers from Plumbing Solutions showed up on time and diagnosed the issue quickly. They presented me with a very reasonable quote and did the work quickly. Additionally they wore masks/protection in this crazy Covid world.
Sullivan plumbing solutions are nothing short of amazing. I would highly recommend them for anything. They are very smart and always have an answer for all of your questions (even if you ask a lot) they never make you feel silly. Both Matt and Tim spend as much time as you need to go through discussing any issues you're having. They have never made a mistake and have been working for my family for 20 plus years. They are so friendly and respectful and truly THE BEST plumbers around the Boston area. I highly highly recommend.

I had a great experience working with Matt and his team. They fixed our shower and three sinks after we moved in to our new house. Prices were super reasonable - in fact they founder a simpler and less expensive way to fix the shower than we anticipated. Everyone we interacted with was polite, friendly, professional, and punctual. The work they did was excellent and were great about scheduling promptly and accommodating my less than flexible schedule.
They seemed promising at first, they came and gave a ball park estimate saying we'll get the estimate by the end of the next day so I waited. And waited. I've called 5 times on different days asking for the estimate and it was always that's strange, I'll tell ___ to call you. At this point, I've given up. Waste of time
called with leak emergency. They were responsive. Got here within 24 hrs. Worked hard to find solution. Polite and nice. Did a great job. I am very pleased.
Excellent service, and attention to detail. Friendly, on-time, very communicative. I had a few different plumbing issues which they were able to fix all in one shot. They are reliable and they get the job done - everything you'd want in a plumbing service.

I had a garbage disposal unit that needed to be fixed. I identified the issue late at night and sent a message to Plumbing Solutions since they had good reviews and were close by. They contacted me in the morning and gave me the first immediate opening. They sent over a very professional and qualified plumber (Enrique) and his assistant (Jake), and the office kept me posted on their ETA via text messages until they arrived. Less than 30 minutes later, they replaced the disposal with a new one, and the issue was resolved. I especially appreciate their customer service, courtesy, and professionalism. I like that they notify you about their arrival time every step of the way and that they wear plastic booties upon entering the home, and accept digital payments. I highly recommend them!
Quick response, excellent work and I gave my neighbors their contact info. I failed to ask, beforehand, of the cost, and they have the typical cost of other plumbers who responded on Yelp. PLUS, apparently their working conditions are excellent and the owner of the company makes sure that they are treated well, fairly, and with respect. Highly recommended!
Matthew was great. Very professional, on time, and a great communicator. He saved me money and time by correctly identifying the problem, and after a thorough investigation, he figured out how to fix it without a hassle. Very honest, smart, and a very hard worked. Full disclosure: I have been friends with Matt for a long time. Between my parents using him when I was younger and myself using him for Residential Properties I manage my family and I have been using Matt and Tim for well over 15 years.
I learned my lesson quickly in the world of property management that when you go for the cheaper service, you get what you pay for. Plumbing Solutions are efficient with both our time and money. They typically swing by the property, take a peek, give a quote, and stick to it. They truly earn the 5 star rating.
Very impressive service and responsiveness. I will be using them for any of my future plumbing needs.
I had a slow shower drain that needed to be fixed in my rental unit. I started out on a good foot with Plumbing Solutions. They answered the phone promptly and had someone come out right away. When the plumber came he said the trap on the shower was old and needed to be replaced. He also said it needed to be snaked. He used some silly price list on an iPad to look up an exorbitant price for the service. (Why not just charge time and materials like other plumbers?) I begrudgingly agreed to the high price because I needed it fixed for my tenant. He did the work quickly and the shower seemed to be running fine. I was satisfied with the work at the time even though it cost a whopping $675.
A couple weeks later and the shower was backing up again but worse than before. My tenant also complained that the drain stopper was screwed on so tight she couldn't flip it. I tried to reach out to Plumbing Solutions to get it fixed but they ghosted me. I called multiple times and left multiple messages. They never responded. Meanwhile my tenant couldn't really shower. So I gave up and called Roscia's Plumbing instead. They came out, fixed the overtightened drain, and then snaked the trap. The visit from that plumber only cost me $150. The shower drain has been perfect since then.
I will not use Plumbing Solutions again.
I had a great experience with Tim. He called to schedule a 2 hour window, and then in advance to specify timing within that range. He showed up on time, and quickly resolved our issue. He also gave me advice on how we can prevent the issue in the future. I found him to be very polite and courteous as well.
As exhausted new homeowners, who have had thing after thing pop up in our new home, it's great to find professionals who are responsive and honest.
