We are a plumbing business that also teaches - We specialize in teaching minor plumbing repairs and how to prevent emergencies. In 1895, Jacobs Wm Plumbing & Heating was founded in Boston and moved to the Westwood area in the early 1960s. The company was passed on, generation to generation, to William, the third generation owner, with the assistance of licensed master plumbers and apprentices. Recently, the company was passed down to Sue, the 4th generation owner, and renamed S Jacobs Plumbing, LLC. Our company has more than 80 years of experience changing out or fixing plumbing 30 to 50 years old. We do plumbing the old-fashioned way in order to keep consistent with older, existing plumbing, but also stay up to date on the latest techniques and technology in the industry for optimal service of newer systems. A Family of Master Plumbers since 1895! Sue is fifth generation of Master Plumbers and first woman in the family to carry on the tradition of helping people with their emergencies and plumbing needs.

Sue came recommend by several people. Had a disposal that was severely leaking and needed replacement. She ended up stopping by on a Sunday to assess the situation and probably spent half an hour looking at some other issues I had - at no charge! Even though she was super busy, she squeezed me in this week which was greatly appreciated since the sink and dishwasher were inoperable until the disposal was replaced. She is very responsive, explains everything, and extremely reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her and I'm happy to have found someone I know I can trust to do other plumbing projects in my home.

Sue is AWESOME. She is super attentive, let's you know what she's planning on doing and when (if it's a multiday job) and always tells you if there are certain ways to save more money etc. She first helped us when we had to replace our defunct water heater and now she is helping us design and install a master bathroom in our new dormer addition. Highly recommend!!!!
