When my HVAC failed on a Saturday, and I was leaving Monday night on a business trip I was convinced I was totally out of luck.  I called Buss Mechanical Saturday afternoon and Matt came over and looked over my system, even recharged it and then used a leak detector on it.  Unfortunately the compressor was not able to hold a charge and needed to be replaced.  Matt came back on Monday and had everything finished by mid-afternoon and I caught my evening flight.  Excellent and responsive service, will be using Buss Mechanical for both my home and business HVAC needs.

Mark had helped me out with replacing a water heater installed incorrectly by another person 8 years ago (difficult job). Because he was so great with that job, I had called him again 5 years back to help with my dishwasher, and called him again today to help with a leak from the a/c unit piping. Today, he called me back right away and helped me figure out the best way to resolve the problem over the phone. He is very professional and friendly. I am a very happy repeat customer and would highly recommend him.

Mr. Carey came over to my home immediately and took care of my leaking faucet. Fabulous service!

Updating this review, Paul returned and did some more work for me. He came on time ready to go, as last time. I took a day off from work to be there to let him in, but I I'm deducting one star for a couple reasons. First, I must say that I didn't have a vacation day. He talked to me or had me assisting all day for things that in my opinion could have been figured out without me; or, he could have given me a full report at the end instead of continuous calling me to help or take a look at something. It ended up being a little stressful. I also was disappointed in how he kept my house, just little things; traipsing in without even thinking to remove his shoes, dumping out contents of a new sink on my white carpet, leaving wet towels on my kitchen counter, throwing a dirty mailbox into the newly detailed trunk of my car, and dumping grout, wood and trash in my new large garbage can without liner (I'm picky about that). He also made a joke about some artwork in my bathroom, saying oh, so people can get culture while they poop. Just a little odd. I'm sure he will barely remember this stuff because he didn't seem to think about it. It's just because I'm obsessive about my house and keep it ultra clean and I was a little hangry! I was so busy with him I had no time to eat.

Otherwise, he is phenomenal. He is so incredibly nice and stayed LONGER than he planned to help me out, because I had forgotten to buy a new mailbox. so he waited for me to make a Lowes run. He's a sweetheart and takes pride in his work-to the point that you sometimes have to pry him away from something extra. He did beautiful work and was very reasonably priced. Despite these few issues, highly recommend.

Mike is an excellent plumber. He is thorough, fair in his pricing and very hard-working. As a single mother, he was very responsive to my emergency situation. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs plumbing services.

I've used Mouradian Plumbing for two different properties and I don't see why I would go with anyone else. They installed a new high efficient gas boiler and water heater in one home, and just installed a gas boiler in the other property. There were plenty of smaller jobs like installing a new bathroom sink, replacing a garbage disposal and just regular maintenance. Eric came by on short notice to give me an estimate, much lower than another estimate I had, and within a few more days was able to have his team replace the old boiler in one afternoon. In all the work they've done, the area is left extremely clean and orderly. There's great personal communication with everyone in that I've spoken with. It's not easy to find a plumber you love. I could not recommend Mouradian any higher.

I recently renovated my house by adding bathrooms, and a second floor laundry. Tony and his plumber crews did an outstanding job.
What a great service by professionals. I highly recommend them.

Originally this was going to be a 5 star review, but 128 got in their own way.

I had substantial work done to replace a broken water heater and replace a busted cast iron drain pipe. Kenny was amazing and came to look at the situation within 1 hour of my call. Chandler and his team were top notch professionals. I was 100% satisfied with their work and professionalism. My only concern was the cost of the work being perhaps higher than necessary, but I was willing to pay extra so that we had hot water and proper sewer drainage.

Fast forward two weeks and my boiler starts leaking. I called 128 because I was so pleased with their work, but they refused to send a technician out for an estimate until my outstanding balance was paid. I explained that I needed to move some money around to cover the significant scope of the prior work, and that I need a few days to make payment. I reiterated that I had no concern paying their $89 estimate fee (which as an aside is ridiculous - who doesn't offer free estimates??), but they still refused to send someone.

I told Karin and Alex on the phone that I understand their need to receive payment, but that these policies communicate that 128 cares more about getting paid than they care about having satisfied repeat customers who have heat in their home. Once I offered to make a partial payment, they agreed to schedule the estimate.

They can say all the right things, but when push comes to shove, they've shown their true colors. I'm very disappointed in 128.

I'm not a person who ever writes reviews about anyone trying to run a business, but this time is an exception. Don't ever hire this guy to work on your plumbing needs. He came recommended by a neighbor so that neighbor called him to tell him I had a water tank leak. Without even coming out to look at it  he gives the guy a quote over the phone, 1st red flag. So the guy sends out 2 guys several days later with new tank on truck, (I never authorized the work). I tell his worker to call his boss to give me a solid quote, he's now at $300 more than original quote Without even seeing the job. I spoke with him and convinced him to lower price to the first one. Workers replace tank with new (which was under warranty). They left 3 hours after but had to call an electrician who spent one hour connecting thermostat to hot water system. Gave his worker $2200 in cash for labor. Later on, I notice water on floor near tank, along with poor water pressure from faucets. Called him back and his response was curt, said he would send someone out next day. Worker shows up and repairs water leak. Then proceeded to flush the faucets. Tells me I need an aerator for the bathroom sink, goes out to his truck and drives away. Call him again and leave message, he text me back with a response all done there. Finally I get a hold of him and he said he would send someone. 2 days later, young guy shows up, removes bath sink faucet, inspected the situation and tells me I need to replace the faucet and leaves. In the end, I call in 2 more different plumbers to inspect the work and to get a separate opinion. Both plumbers told me the mixing valve in faucet was bad and should be replaced. But then I was floored when both plumbers told me Mr. Donarumo over charged me more than $1000. And these guys had never met me before. So be very aware if you hire this guy.

Our 30 year old boiler finally gave out in the middle of the night late November.  I called several plumbing companies to come take a look and give estimates.  Craig Forsythe was one of the first to get back to us and come take a look at it.  I choose Forsythe plumbing for several reasons, their prices were competitive, they could start that day, and they seemed very friendly and competent.  They started that day removing the old boiler and installed the new boiler the next day.  Jaimie and William were the main technicians and were very friendly.  Jaimie explained everything he was doing, and patiently went over all the parts of the boiler we may need to know about before he left.  We had one small problem the following day and Craig came right out to fix it.   I would definitely recommend them.

Mike at M&M Plumbing is AWESOME!!! Cannot give more than 5 stars which sucks. 10 as far as I am concerned. Mike and his dad were the goto plumbers for my grandmother,  and my mother whenever they needed a problem fixed. My mom moved out of state and my grandmother has been deceased for almost 2 years. However, I am still in Quincy and rent. My landlord needed a plumber for some work and I recommended These guys. Mike arrived on the day he promised and his work is more than phenominal. He is a great guy and I for one am glad that I could call someone that I knew had a relationship with my family. I will not hesitate to call them again.

I have used Mark Calabro as my plumber for years and years.  He is the ONLY guy I call when I have some kinda of plumbing issue that I cannot resolve myself.  He has helped me out numerous times.  He is a wicked nice guy, and genuinely likes his work.  He's a licensed Master Plumber and works on his own.  If you are in the Winchester area, and need a good guy to depend on to do plumbing work for you - I cannot recommend Mark enough.
Word of warning: he is super-busy, so don't be surprised if he doesn't pick up the phone or call you back right away.  Persistence pays off with him - if you need him - you have to keep calling!  Annoying, I know, but the guy is in demand big-time.  I trust no one but him when I have plumbing issues at my place.

I just had my counters done in Granite and needed to have a new faucet installed.  Chris's team was on time and had the disposal and faucet installed in no time.   Cleaned up like they were never there. Highly recommended!

Great service! I found this company on Yelp. They were fantastic. The owner came out to give me an estimate. The price was very competitive. We had a major plumbing issue and these guys came to the rescue. Me and my wife highly recommend using this company and if we ever have this issue again we will sure contact them!

Fixed our toilet after we called the company in the middle of the night. He, the owner, said (via email and phone) he would come at 8am and he came at 7:55! Very nice, efficient, and reliable!

Dishonest, price gouging business. Would not recommend to anyone, ever. Save your money and your sanity, call any other plumber.

Edit: I just saw the owner's response. $533 to do an AC check up and add 3 pounds of refrigerant. I have a receipt. You be the judge!

Wow, did I just get ripped off! Papalia did some service work following an AC tune up. The estimate actually seemed very high, so while he was doing the work I called two other local AC contractors to see what they would charge to do the same thing. The HIGHEST of the two bids for the tune-up and service work (assuming it was even necessary) was literally just less than half. The tune-up cost more at what I consider to be the reputable competitor. The estimate for the service portion was 30% of Papalia.

I talked to the technician about it before he left. He did a dance when I asked him how he was able to estimate a price before knowing how much R22 was needed for the job. He did give me the name of his manager to call. The damage is done, in my view. Papalia has NOT tried to follow up in any way.

How do I get that SUCKER sign removed from my forehead?

When I called Gem Plumbing and Heating, I thought I would be getting someone that could do plumbing and heating as the business name implies. They could do neither.  They were very honest about it though.  I'll give them that.  

Our electric water heater kept tripping the breaker. I called Gem.  They were very nice on the phone.  They told me it would be a $99 service call fee.  I could test to see if it was just a faulty breaker myself but, $99 so I don't have to mess around with electric and water?  A very fair price.  

They came out the next day.  Very courteous. They spent 12 minutes verifying that the circuit to the water heater was good. That was it. Their conclusion as worded on the receipt found possible faulty hot water tank.  Is it faulty or not? I asked if I needed a new water heater.  The response I got was We're just electricians. We can have a plumber come out. Roughly how much would a new tank cost?, We're just electricians.  They couldn't even tell me how much it would be to send out a plumber.  

Since the furnace also produces hot water and the water was still coming out fairly hot I asked, Is there a way to turn up the temp on the furnace?. You guessed it, We're just electricians but, we can send a furnace person.  

TOTAL CHARGE FOR 12 MINUTES OF WORK? $325  

That's right, the $99 is just to drive the truck to your house.  It doesn't include any work.  That's about $27 per minute.  It took them longer to fill out the paper work.  I even had to put them on MY wifi so they could do it.  Maybe I should charge them for that.  I'll only charge them $25 a minute so, about $500.    

So I guess I would have been charged another $99 plus whatever else for a furnace person to come out and turn up the heat then, if the water still wasn't hot enough, another $99 plus whatever else to have a plumber come out to replace the water heater.  

The invoice I got doesn't even have a breakdown of what was done. Just one line that says they cashed my check.  Is that even legal?  They couldn't even tell me how much it would be to send out a plumber to tell me if I needed a new water heater or not.

I should have put this on my charge and disputed the charge.
