Best Bathtub in Seattle WA
My review is mixed. Sure they did the job, the crew was friendly, I think it's good work, but I'm not a plumber, so what do I know about that?
I'm writing this review because they broke a cupboard door in my kitchen, both Justin And Tyler said it would be replaced for me. It is now 2 1/2 month later i have heard nothing. I have called and left many messages and emailed multiple times for an update. I am leaving this review not only so future clients can see a risk, but my hope is that Tyler will read this and return my calls/emails about the cupboard door that was broken while green planet was working in my home.
Ps they also broke a ceramic made by my son and they left the front door open and my dogs ran away. (I glued the ceramic and did find my dogs)
It's a shame that Tyler has been so dismissive about the broken door - I would have called and recommended them for future plumbing needs Now the opposite is true.
It's less about the door and more about the poor customer service

I had one of those dumb things happen in life. Something accidentally got flushed. Schuerman plumbing was courteous and made arrangements for Mark to stop in. His was running early and called before his arrival. Fast neat and the object was retrieved in probably 20 minutes. He also took time to give me advice on what I could do about bathroom fixture updating. Thank you Mark!

I was referred to WS Sewer & Drain by a friend and I could not be more impressed with Bill and Judy. They were so helpful. I didn't need immediate assistance so was able to schedule and get Bill over for an appointment and then a second appointment once all my parts came in without issue. Bill was fast, courteous and knowledgable.
I was so happy with the service, the results and the cost.
I would definitely recommend... Thank You!!!

Less than a year into our home it's been a slew of issues. This weekend our water heater failed on a Friday night with a new born in the house. Dave and crew came out and fixed our problems expeditiously! Never excited for emergency repair but super thankful to be back up within 24 hours. Highly recommend them.

My under mounted sink was falling and every plumber I called insisted I could do it myself. I'm fairly handy, but I hate taking a chance on plumbing (or electrical). Vortex was priced similarly to other plumbers, but they knew exactly what to do to fix my sink. They came out, took the sink off, stripped down the old adhesive, and reattached it. In 24 hours they were back to remount the remaining plumbing. With that, all was well.
However, after my sink was reattached I noticed that it was still leaking. The caulking wasn't done well. There were still gaps where water could get through. I chalked it up to the caulk settling, emailed Vortex about the issue, and they were back within several days to reseal my sink.
Except, even after this second time the caulking had gaps. This was pretty frustrating. After doing a great job attaching the sink, they couldn't get the easiest part right. I sent a subsequent email and just told them I was disappointed. Sent a photo of the remaining gaps and told them I'd fix it myself. After $600 to fix my sink, I shouldn't have to buy caulk myself, but during a pandemic I really didn't want people to keep coming in my house to fix something easy that should've been done right the first time.

Erik was prompt and fixed our problem bathtub. He also charges significantly less compared to places like Beacon (which is a total waste of money). You wont go wrong calling Erik.

I cannot even begin to say how AMAZING Tech City Plumbing is, and especially Tim! This is our second time using Tim. Originally we were referred to Elvis (great customer service) who referred us to Tim because of availability. Number ONE: they are so honest!! Let's get to the point, no one wants to pay more than they need to. Tim was honest, and told us what we needed to repair but also told us things that didn't need to be done. He looked out for us. Number two: he responded to our request (arrived at our house) within 24 hours, both times! One of the visits we actually didn't have a problem, he showed us and didn't charge us. Who does that these days? I figured he would charge us a big fee for coming out, and instead told us that he values our business?!?! Where do you see that these days? I don't. The point is: when you hire a plumber, you look for integrity, honesty and a strong work ethic. Tim has all these. I would trust him with any plumbing job, big or small. I will be telling all of my friends and family about him. Look no further, go with Tech City and ask for Tim! Know that your money is going in the right place.

They were fantastic to work with. Communicated with me including updates as the team were on their way. Affordable. We're not trying to upsel me.

They were way over-priced, nearly $500 to replace a faucet cartridge and clear a slow drain. I should have known better when they refused to give a price prior to the appointment.

Brian changed valves, shower connection, checked two toilets, replaced kitchen faucet.
On time, efficient, clean, good value, fast.
I really like this company and will have more work done through them soon.

Forest Ridge Plumbing was on vacation and they referred me to Top Gun Plumbing. The outside faucet wouldn't turn off and it was a weekend. They came out Sunday. Showed me what was wrong. No charge if I went up to Home Depot and picked up a new faucet. Told me how to install it which I did These guys are honest, honest, honest. I would definitely use them again.

Water heater went out on a Saturday so I shut it down and drained the tank to prevent damage in a finished basement. I decided I could wait until Monday for the plumber but really wanted to schedule the visit to be sure it got done. I called three plumbers in the Ballard area and always got an answering service with only a promise for a call on Monday morning. However, the fourth call to Wezee's was different. Left a message but got a call back from Louise within 20 minutes. She scheduled the apointment for 8 AM Monday, gave me an over the phone cost esitmate for the tank replacement and told me the job would take about 4 hours. Well, everything was as she said. At 8 AM Anthony was at my door, the tank was replaced and everything buttoned up in a little over 4 hours and the price was just below the quote. Good job all around. I definitely recommend Wezee's.

Mike and Tyler showed up on time, reviewed the project with me, and got to work immediately. I have my water shut off valve in a basement closet and it is an old twist knob that was about 7ft high. I asked them to replace the shut off and install a quarter turn valve. I also asked them to lower it a couple feet so my wife can access the shut off without a stool. All work completed in under an hour, including removing drywall and cleaning up the area. Definitely will use Otter Plumbing again.

I highly recommend All in One Maintenance! Leon was so prompt in responding to my request and was able to get out to fix a bathroom fan at our site the next day. We ended up having three separate issues that needed work and he was able to fix all three. Leon is efficient, so professional, and was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend his company for any handyman needs you may have, All in One Maintenance will be the company I use from here on out! Thank you for the awesome work!

Steve and his crew of Sharif and Nick saved me on New Years Eve. I had a leak in my basement wall and had no idea what to do. Sharif and Nick came, asked some smart questions and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem (leaky refrigerator valve). Reasonable, efficient and super nice. Highly recommend.

I'm impressed with Mr Rooter work. The young man that came to my house, Shamier(Sean) was very knowledgable and did all he could to free my sewer line. It was tougher than expected, and he had to get a 'jetted' to clean the line and get things working again. It was on a Friday night that I called, and they were there the next day.
They weren't cheap, but the price was fair, especially all the work that was performed.

I am so disappointed. I made an appointment for a leaking water heater, and it was confirmed. Understanding their policy is that the homeowner must be on site, I arranged my work schedule and reschedule some meetings to make sure I could be there for the appointment.
Later that day, Allred's called me back to tell me they were canceling my appointment and scheduling it for a different day -- the only day they had available was a day that I would only be available until 9:30am, after which I would not be available. I explained this to the customer service rep and asked if I could please keep the original appointment date. She said no, they had given to someone else already.
She also said that I would need to be physically on site and could not have my tenant (who is extremely trustworthy and in constant communication with me) let them in and call me on the phone. Because they have a policy that the homeowner needs to be physically present, I would need to be there. I explained I could only be physically present on this new date until 9:30am, when I would need to leave. They said they would put me first on the list for an 8-10am window, so that I could leave by 9:30am for the appointment that I could not miss. I appreciated that.
The day came. I arrived at 8am expecting their technician to be there soon because they had told me I was first on the route for the 8-10am service window. I sat in my car until 9:15am, and when no one had shown up or called, I called them. They told me their technician would not arrive UNTIL 9:45AM!!!!! I was crestfallen and had to leave. I asked them to please come anyway and that my tenant could let them in and they could call me with any information, and I could meet them at a later date if needed. I met with my tenant and explained this, and he assured me he would let them in and have them call me for any questions or needs.
The technician arrived at 9:45am, assessed the situation, and told my tenant they would be sending me an estimate for the work. The technician explained to my tenant that I would need to be on site before the work could actually commence. No problem.
A week and a half later an estimate had still not arrived, and no one from Allred's had called me back. I called today to ask them about the estimate and was told THEY WILL NOT WORK WITH ME because I was not on-site for their first visit and they believe I lied to to them (!!!!!)
I explained this is not a situation where anyone is trying to trick them. I was on site physically until 9:30am and then HAD TO LEAVE. I asked if they could please send the estimate, and I would be happy to arrange an appointment to meet them in person, and I'm happy to pay extra for it, before the work commenced.
No dice. I was told they are not going to work with me now or ever, because I violated their policy of not being on site for the initial visit.
I can understand having a policy like this, and that the company needs to cover themselves so that tenants don't order work that landlords don't know about. That makes sense. But in this case, I was forthright and worked with them after THEY changed the appointment date on me, and did everything I could to be there. I made it clear I would be there until 9:30am. They showed up at the 11th hour after telling me I was first on their route.
I guess there must be so much business right now they can say no to whomever they please, but this is just so disappointing. I feel like they have wasted my time, and are treating me like I am a bad person.
I'm disappointed.

I called mid morning on a Friday and they made me an appointment same day, cool right? Wrong! I adjusted my work schedule to get home in time for the 2 hour window and waited.
My window was between 3 and 5. At 5:30 I called and asked what was going on. They tried to give me another 2 hour window!!! No, thanks. You can cancel the work order.
If anyone would have called and said they were running late it wouldn't have been a big deal. I'll take my business elsewhere in the future.

My wife and I actively discourage anyone from using Puget Sound Plumbing based on their horrendous customer service, ludicrously inflated prices, and bottom-of-the-barrel quality of work. We first contacted Puget Sound Plumbing because we noticed our ceramic tiles coming up in our master bathroom, and were told that our shower pan was cracked and was leaking water underneath the tile and into the sub-flooring. We were quoted approximately $6200 for the replacement of the shower and flooring. After tearing up the floor and taking the shower out, we were referred to a separate company to dry the sub-flooring. American Restoration was just as bad as Puget Sound Plumbing, not answering or returning our repeated phone calls over a three week period. After the floors were dried, it took over three months for us to get Puget Sound Plumbing back to our house to finish the work, and when they did, they were poorly prepared. They did not have the matching tile or moulding to finish the work. After nagging them for another month, they finally came back out to finish the job, but showed up hours beyond their expected window of arrival and weren't finished until almost 11pm. All in all, it took six months for the work to be completed, and costed $7500, $1300 over what we were originally quoted. But the worst part is, after an additional six months, we realized that the tiles were once again coming up in the bathroom and there was water in the sub-flooring. We called Puget Sound Plumbing to come out and fix the problem, but were told we would have to pay for any additional work needed to be done, even though they did not fix the original problem. We got our insurance company involved, and our representative was astonished at how she was treated by the management of Puget Sound Plumbing. Between myself, my wife, and our insurance representative, we experienced being yelled at, hug up on, and threatened by management at Puget Sound Plumbing. After three months of attempts to have Puget Sound Plumbing come back out to fix their work, they sent an intern out to our home who proceeded to damage our drywall and replace our moulding with silicon caulking which couldn't be painted over. He said he would come back another time to fix the damage and the moulding, but he no-showed at his follow-up appointment. Puget Sound Plumbing then took another three months before coming to our house and fixing the issue, which to them meant leaving the silicon caulking and plastering over the damaged drywall, which looks as if a five-year old installed the texture to the drywall. They refused to do any additional work unless we purchased a shower door from them at a cost of over $800, even when they admitted Home Depot sells doors for around $150. All in all, it took nearly two years for Puget Sound Plumbing to half fix our bathroom, leaving it in horrible shape. Why try to fight for two years to get your bathroom fixed by a company that charges you $1300 more than they quoted? Save yourself the time, constant frustration, and money, and steer clear of Puget Sound Plumbing.
***Update 4/14/15 based on Melissa's response to the original post***
Melissa continues to demonstrate why you should avoid Puget Sound Plumbing. Even after the fiasco, she continues to fight and argue instead of apologizing and providing actual customer service, despite the fact that she is a manager/owner. Melissa, as I have told you many times before, my wife and I were NEVER ONCE told that we needed to install a shower door upon the initial assessment and fix of our bathroom. You and your company only used it as an excuse of why your work failed after water started leaking under the tile again six months later and then refused to fix the work unless we paid over $800 to install the shower door. I only agreed because you refused to fix the initial job otherwise, which I still can't believe you wouldn't stand behind your own work. And when it came time to install the door, I refused to have it installed because your worker himself told us we could buy one and install it for around $150. So no way I'm going to pay your company a ludicrously inflated price to do absolutely terrible work that probably would've looked awful or started leaking again in six months anyway. Everyone, please see Melissa's comment as what it really is, an insight into Puget Sound Plumbing's failure at customer service and avoid them at all costs.
