My pipes were humming.  I texted them.  Sam called me back right away, and asked me what the problem is.  I told him that my pipes are humming. Since they just came about 5 months back, I thought they would be the best choice.  Sam said that he will come right away, which I didn't expect since it's the end of the day. He said I don't know what the problem is, but I have some idea. However, I will charge $95 for the service call.  It might be what I think it is, which is easy to fix, it might not.  I said ok.  He came quickly.  All is good.

It took him less than 2 minutes to fix the problem.  The problem was, the city make the pressure higher for no reason, so Sam just have to turn the knob at the pressure adjustor outside of my house.  

I just thought that is too much for a 2 min job and he could have just told me over the phone and ask me to try that myself.  Since I had them replaced my pressure adjustor just 5 months ago, charging me $95 for just that is a bit high.  

Sorry, Sam.  But you were biting a little too deep this time.

The original shutoff valves are leaking. They fixed them in an hour. They used more materials than expected but they didn't charge more because of that.

The issue was fixed completely and result is nice and clean.

Came on-time, fixed my clogged toilet quickly and changed my sink drain as well. No complaints.

Turns out our plumbing emergency was the result of shoddy work done by our regular plumber. Apparently, shoddy work will indeed cause pipes to burst and extensive water damage. Who knew? Not our previous plumbers..

Which brings me to reason #2 for the 5-star review. The team at Local Rooter & Plumbing not only fixed the plumbing emergency, but also provided an excellent, low-cost fix to the other plumber's botched job.

Needless to say, Local Rooter & Plumbing are our new plumbers. Well worth the 5-star review!

Todd was very quick to reply to my Yelp request for quote, within just a few minutes and he also had a very reasonable quote from the very get-go.

Amazingly, he had availability the same day and was able to show up within an hour or so. Todd was very friendly, personable, and conscious about removing his shoes before entering my home.

I cannot recommend Todd highly enough for you to his professionalism pricing and also quality of work.

Our issues started in the late evening with a sewer backup. Marco came out on time (in an hour-ish), and spent a few hours trying to clear the line, but ultimately our 1930's system was too old to service (no clean outs). Marco recommended installing a two-way clean out, which we did. After he cleared the line and showed us the images of the poor condition pipe (roots, cracks, flat sections), he recommended we replace it. He was very low pressure, and gave us time to get quotes, and was fair on the price. We went with his company, and they started right away after getting city permit.

After the sewer work started, they uncovered our water main, which was in poor condition. Marco was very honest that we did not need to replace it right away, but would at some point, and left the decision to us. We decided to replace the main as well, and were so glad we did. Once the old pipe was out, we saw how disgusting and clogged the water pipe was. After getting city permits, they started on the water main. Overall, the team was here about three weeks (off and on as needed) for a replacement of the sewer line, water main, and installed an earthquake shutoff for the gas (we had this on our to-do list).

Overall, Marco is extremely efficient and honest. He was transparent with the severity of every repair, passed city inspection on all work very quickly without issue, and followed up to address a few minor touch ups. His team works really hard, and does quality work, which is worth every cent.

Great  service!  Called Tuesday at 4pm, they were out Wednesday at 9am.  I needed a new faucet installed, but didn't have one.  They brought me a replacement!  And fixed the cold water shutoff I told them was broken, too.  They were here for about an hour, did a great job, left everything clean and tidy, and for a very reasonable price.  I'm extremely happy with the whole process.

Requested a quote towards the end of the day on a Monday. Daniel responded quickly with by far the best estimate which was inclusive of parts and labor including my special request to have a quarter turn spigot and not the cheapo replacement that had been originally installed. And the plumber, Jorge, was here as promised between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m the *next* morning. And while I consider doing this job myself given that this was the original spigot and had been painted and stuck it over by the builder, the quote was so fantastic that it wasn't worth the risk. I'm really glad I made the call because when I initially turned the water main off we detected that it wasn't fully shut off. The water main itself being a quarter turn handle appears to be sticking or leaking internally giving it a quick on off jiggle got it to work but now it's on my list for needing a potential future replacement. Jorge had his mask on on the full approach to my property and when we needed to go through real quick to the water main by the garage quickly slipped on shoe protectors. Professional, affordable, responsive. Again super impressed at the professionalism of Jorge and being properly masked during the pandemic. I have some future work coming down the line including potential renovations and Always Rescue will be at the top of my list for quotes and service. Keep up the great work!

So I'm realizing I have a water leak behind the tub/shower wall that won't be an easy fix: rip out tile, replace valve, some pipes, etc.  First dude I spoke to quoted $1700. Come on man. I looked on YouTube for some how to videos. I'm like, cool I got this. Got the wall open and thought you might be in over your head.  I glanced up and my dog was staring at me through the hole in the wall with the look of you're in over your head. Called Local Local. Cool dude. Decent quote. Fixed in a jiffy. Would use them again anytime.

Water flows out of the drain when our washer runs. Calling Eddie, he offered a reasonable price and next morning fix. Arrived on time, had a great quick fix along with a good chat. Eddie nicely offered 30 day warranty offering me peace of mind. Eddie is a great guy, definitely honest and reliable plumber, and I will reach out to him again for help in future.

My guy Eddie showed up at my house at 11 pm , My father was stressing cause he usually the one who fix stuff around the house , but he called quits on this one . Called Eddie and he latterly showed up in 20 min . I highly appreciate his service .

Khan has been my hero once again!  I have his number on speed dial and he is quick to respond to my rescue!  I never expected a leak in my water line in the back yard but it happened today and within the hour, he came to fix.  He is professional, fast and informative.  He replaced my rusty, cheap pipes with a new copper replacement that has a lever.  I am so relieved and grateful for his help.

They saved me! My tenants pipe behind the water heater broke and flooded the house. They were prompt in simply booking an estimate and when they were $400 cheaper than the plumber who was there 10 minutes earlier I decided to go with them. They spent quality time on the repair that took hours to complete same day. No small talk, just got to work, which I appreciated when I was stressed beyond belief.  The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they included some drywall which wasn't included in the quote that they mentioned at the end, but it wasn't too much more. Honestly, I'm pretty sure the job cost more than what I was charged but I'm unemployed and I pleaded for help, seeing that everyone else quoted much higher. I'm thankful that they rescued me and when I have a problem next time I know who I'm calling!

I used this company 6 times. Generally, their plumbers are pretty skilled and knowledgeable. But, their hourly rate is not cheap. For the complicated plumbing issues or new water heater installations, I recommend to use this company.

I highly recommend Victor. I had a leaking shower faucet and based on the yelp reviews decided to call Victor. Well it turned out that the cartridge assembly for the shower faucet was completely corroded and it was going to be a much more difficult job than expected. Victor went above and beyond to still get it fixed during his visit. He got my shower fixed despite a more difficult job and was he was extremely professional throughout the job. I plan to have him replace my other shower and sink faucets in the near future.

These guys are great.  They replaced my sewer line, put in a new cleanout, and left my paver stone driveway looking the same as before they started.  
same way.  They had three crews working on my job.  The ones that opened the holes, the ones that installed the new sewer line, the ones that filled everything thing in and repaired the driveway.  The supervisor popped into to check on the work a couple of times.  Not only that, I was able to text any questions directly to the office.  Everything you would like in a contractor.  I heard about Wizard on Next Door. Then my friend told me they were at his house putting in a water line and they were real pros.  That's what clinched it for me.  They delivered as promised.  As for pricing, their bid was the most completely detailed.  So you knew exactly what you were getting. That's how I do business.  I would hire these guys again in a minute.  Five stats and then some.
