I had an unexpected plumbing issue in my laundry room Sunday evening.  Water started spraying abruptly all over the place.  I quickly went to Yelp, and researched who would be a good professional to call.  I ran into American Home Plumbing Services, and was very pleased with the many positive reviews, and proximity to my location.  I gave Raheb a call, and he was available to see me the next morning.

Raheb arrived punctually on time (literally to the minute), and was very professional.  He was able to access my issue very quickly, and went right to work.  I appreciated that he was very careful in his work, and also very neat and conscientious.  His pricing was extremely fair, and the work was performed very quickly.  

I am extremely happy in how the entire experience went.  I went from a little stressed out about the water leakage, to being a relieved and happy customer.

The rock retaining wall on my daughter's Kensington house finally put enough pressure on an old house supply pipe that it sprang a leak at a joint.  It was a Saturday so my choices were limited.  I ended up getting big chain company out, but they showed up without parts to fix an iron pipe, and gave me an exorbitant price to replace the whole line.  I ended up fixing the leak temporarily with a strip of inner tube.  Based on Yelp reviews I called Mauro's Plumbing.  They sent out Jose and another plumber who looked at the line replacement and said not a problem.  The job looked big to me:  tunnel under sidewalk, tunnel under rock retaining wall, trench up the hill, under walkway and another rock wall to the house.  Their bid was very reasonable and we set up a date.  That day I came by at 10 am and they had already gone under the sidewalk and wall.  I came back at 3:30 and they were just finishing hooking up the new copper line.  They also installed a T and 2 valves at no extra cost. Later that afternoon they filled in all the diggings so well that my daughter didn't even notice that the yard had been dug up - it looked the same as before.  I give them 10 stars.  They are competent, hard working and really nice people.  Will hire them again.

Last Tuesday (Oct 30, 2018), I looked under my kitchen sink and found water all over the cabinet floor. My garbage disposal unit was leaking and obviously needed to be replaced. On Wednesday, I called several plumbing companies. One only had an answering machine and never returned my call. The other two said they needed to schedule an on-site estimate before they could give me a quote. One scheduled the visit for that day, while the other couldn't get to me until the following Monday.

When I called Savior Plumbing, they said they did not need to come out for an on-site estimate. They told me their hourly rate, about how long a garbage disposal replacement normally took and how much they would charge for the new disposal unit. I asked if I could buy the unit myself and they said that was OK. But, when they told me how much they would charge for the unit they provided (I had already priced garbage disposal units on the Home Depot web site), it was actually less than the Home Depot price. So, I went with their unit (which, by the way, was a quality product). They even gave me a 2 year warranty on the unit.

The first slot they had available was on Saturday, which worked for me. They asked me if I was interested in having it put in sooner, if a slot opened up and I said I was. Later that day they called and said a slot had opened up on Thursday. However, it was at a time I knew I wouldn't be at home, so I declined. On Thursday afternoon they called again and said one of their plumbers had completed a job early and would I be interested in having him come by and do the job. This worked for me and so the plumber did the job that afternoon.

If you are familiar with plumbing contractors, the idea of having a job completed a day after calling them is almost unthinkable. The person I dealt with on the phone was very friendly and courteous, the plumber who did the job was pleasant, the work was high quality and I am extremely satisfied with it. I would heartily recommend others using Savior Plumbing for their plumbing needs.

Have always been fast to respond (true to their name) and always quick to solve the issue... whether it's installing a new fixture, or unplugging a drain! Highly dependable, which is everything when plumbing issues are involved!

His arrival was prompt. He did not sit in his van, chatting on his cell for 10 minutes.
His demeanor was gracious, smiling, and polite.And he was well dressed.  
He patiently listened and then went promptly to work. He did not take up his work time with idle chit-chat during his job. He did not look around our home, but stayed focused on the work to be done. He finished the job in half the time we expected!

We had a leaking garbage disposal. Bob showed up on time. He quickly identified and fixed the leak, tightened up all the hoses under the sink and provided a clear explanation for the work done.

One of the kids broke a sprinkler PVC pipe which caused a water geyser to erupt in the backyard. Called Bart and he showed up early within the window of service and after less than an hour he was able to cut, cap and fix the break. He was professional and very personable. Would not hesitate to call him again with any plumbing issue.

Mark did a fantastic job with installing our new cooktop. He was punctual, cleaned up after himself and hauled out the old cooktop with no questions asked.

He was also super on top of making sure all safety precautions were followed. Highly recommended!

Majid has been awesome, knowledgeable, clean and helpful.  Would highly recommend.

I've called Ishmael twice and been very pleased both times.  Here's what happened:

Nov 2010: Just before Thanksgiving weekend, the gargage disposal died.  Thanksgiving, people!  We were naturally expecting company and obviously needed a functional kitchen.  Called Ishmael on a Sunday and he came out within a couple of hours.  Yes, you read that right.  On a Sunday.  Revived the disposal in about a minute.

Last night: Another kitchen sink issue.  The disposal is running but the sink won't drain.  Okay so it's not Thanksgiving, but when things we use all the time break it seems like the world is ending.  Called Ishmael and he came out this morning.  It was a clogged pipe which he again fixed in about a minute.

Ishmael is prompt, reasonably priced, and extremely friendly.  Just a very nice guy who I will call again in a heartbeat the next time something breaks.

I wholeheartedly would recommend this plumbing company and Eric is awesome! He was professional, pinpointed the problems immediately and repaired them very quickly.  I have been looking for a plumber for years who is honest and trustworthy and I believe I have found him hands down!

Mike Counsil Plumbing contacted me quickly, scheduled a technician to come to my home to see the water heater, and answered my questions about the various water heater options. The technician gave me  a no-surprises estimate before he started the work.  Mike Counsil uses highly rated water heaters. They did an excellent job on the install, I was happy to get a competitive price which also included the permit. A very professional company and their GM, Patty, was very helpful!

Huge shoutout to Bell Plumbing and serviceman Juan who responded within hours of our call to assess and replace our broken water heater.  Juan was professional, courteous, & answered all our questions.  Despite having to deal with a busted water heater, Juan and Bell Plumbing made the process stress-free and painless.   Look no further than Bell Plumbing for all your emergency plumbing needs.

I'm actually shocked at the lack of good reviews for this company. We had a sewage clean out pipe installed after another company put in one without permit to fix a stoppage. The previous company didn't use the proper pipe, connecting bands or irrigation box AND we were getting raw sewage and mud leaking into our front yard and bathroom shower. After dealing with that nightmare for a week Ben Franklin was a dream. They were in and out in a day and we passed inspection no problem. I can't speak about pricing because I do feel you get what you pay for. We paid for quality, warranty backed work and I'm satisfied.
